"Guardiani è una raccolta di fotografie, che ha per soggetto i guardiani dei musei. Le immagini sono state scattate in Francia, Russia, Brasile, Inghilterra, Italia e mostrano le relazioni, spesso sorprendenti, che si stabiliscono tra i soggetti fotografati e il contesto in cui essi non solo lavorano, ma quasi abitano come padroni di casa. Le fotografie rivelano straordinari casi di imitazione dell'opera d'arte, quasi i guardiani assumessero una nuova identità somigliante al contesto e casi in cui i guardiani lasciano affiorare la volontà di risultare invisibili al pubblico, quello stesso pubblico che non nasconde di guardarli come se fossero trasparenti. Ne nasce il paradosso di essere invisibili in un luogo dove tutti vanno per vedere. Per questo li ho fotografati, per trarli da questa condizione di invisibilità".

Nasce a Milano e si laurea in Architettura a Roma nel 1984. Nel 1986 é la sua prima personale di pittura (presentazione di Alessandro Mendini). Nel 1987 inizia la sua collaborazione con Olivetti che culminerà nel 1990 con la pubblicazione di un libro di disegni sulle città delle “Mille e una notte”. Nel 1994 crea le scene e i costumi per “Die Frau Ohne Schatten” di Richard Strauss al Teatro dell’Opera di Zurigo (regia Cesare Lievi). Nel 1995 crea le scene e i costumi per “Gesualdo” di Alfred Schnittke allo Staatsoper di Vienna con la direzione musicale di Mstislav Rostropovic. Per il New National Theatre of Tokyo ha disegnato le scene ed i costumi per numerose opere liriche e balletti. L’esperienza del teatro lo spinge, a partire dal 1995, a iniziare una ricerca sullo spazio che si verrà delineando sempre più come una vera e propria indagine su “La Forma del Vuoto”. Questa ricerca prosegue tuttora con la realizzazione di progetti in cui parti mobili sono in grado di modificare a vista lo spazio, mettendone così in evidenza le potenzialità plastiche oltre che dinamiche. Davide Pizzigoni ha tenuto mostre personali a Milano, Roma, New York, Tokyo e Osaka. La prima monografia sui suoi lavori è stata pubblicata nel 1990 con scritti di Franco Purini e Marco Vallora

buonsalve compagni, voi avete letto Rapaci? Per chi non lo avesse letto vi spiegherò vari motivi per cui leggere questo capolavoro di Pizzigoni.

Trama: ci troviamo in un Europa e in un Italia diversa da quella che conosciamo: Mussolini ha vinto la guerra e l'Italia è governata dai Savoia. Bianca e Anna sono iscritte al partito socialista e manifestano affinché l'Italia non entri nella federazione Europa e che l'Europa scopra i soprusi e le violenze dello stato contro le zone Autonome tutelate dai sovietici. In contrapposizione abbiamo il generale Sforza che con la sua sete di sangue vuole silenziare i comunisti e la zona Autonoma in cui vi sono infiltrati i terroristi Austriaci in cui vi sta Mark, fratello di David. David deve riportare a casa suo fratello Mark prima che gli italiani lo uccidano.

Mi sono letteralmente innamorato di questo libro mi lasciava una suspamce a ogni capitolo e ogni personaggio aveva il suo perché, un suo carattere non credo ci sia un personaggio "sacrificabile". Ve lo consiglio con tutto il cuore anche perché è molto fluido e veloce da leggere non ha momenti di lagna. Vede anche come "protagonista" l'ansia di Bianca e di Sforza come anche in Carne Sprecata con Sara. Pur essendo un libro di battaglia, politica e carrarmati è anche molto introspettivo e riesci a capire gli sgomenti e le gioie dei personaggi, anzi tu diventi il personaggio. Annual Central District

Annual Central District "Walk Out on Drugs" Fundraiser “THANK YOU, ELKS.” The "Walk Out on Drugs" was held around Lake Pappianni in Edison, NJ, on Sunday, April 29th, 2019. There were a total of ten Lodge 885 Elks who showed up for the Walk Out On Drugs and approximately sixty participants from NJ Central District Elks contributing a total of $4,000! (Lodge 885 members present: Kim DeVizio, Melodie Doremus, Deborah Figel, David Lewis, Danny Larsen, John Pizzigoni and Mike Ryder and family.) Our lodge's donations for the Walk Out on Drugs campaign far exceeded our goal by more than a 50% margin, and were thanks to a total of 35 contributors consisting of current Elks, past members and friends of Elks. The vast majority of our donations went to our Central District Drug Awareness host, Chairman Dennis Kopik (Edison Lodge 2487) with the balance being set aside to officially start our own “Drug Awareness Committee" fund!
