hii i need to consult fandom again. starsky and hutch people, i wanna watch ur show but the only place to watch i've found so far has no subtitles. and due to accents and audio quality and my not being a native speaker i can't understand like 25% of whats being said. if theres a google drive or something somewhere (cannot use illegal free streaming websites or torrenting because german media piracy laws are insane. read up on it if you wanna read something stupid) that has the show with english subtitles it would be sooooo beautiful. i would kiss you on the mouth or high five you or something. thanks ♥️

Rewatching “Little Girl Lost” and Hutch is SUCH a crunchy mom. Honestly there really is something to the fact that Hutch takes in Pete, who is basically a tiny Starsky (snarky, lefty, salami-for-breakfast enjoyer) and spends the whole episode being exasperated with both of them. The fact that they didn’t adopt Pete then and there is the greatest tragedy of the whole show. I rarely say this about characters but those two actually should be parents. To her specifically.

“Why can’t I stay with you, Hutch?”

“I wish you could, Molly. It’s just not possible. I’m a bachelor, and I’m hardly ever there. You need a family, Molly, someone to be there when you get home, you know? Someone to… cook for you. Anyway, they wouldn’t allow it.” His repressed homosexual ass was ready to become an impromptu father to a delinquent tween after exactly one day and we should never forget that.

Love that when Hutch got a chance to sing on stage, nervous and all, Starsky was SO supportive he was clapping and singing a long (so much it drove Hutch crazy, lmao), but when Starsky got a girlfriend/fling/lover interest (who upon meeting Starsky thought he was gay) he fell asleep on her singing and was surprisingly completely disinterested in her musical aspirations (despite her having a lovely voice). Wild stuff.
