(Heads up: I don't know How To Police. If stuff is wrong, no it isn't.)
When Baxter called in an arrest on his off-hours, Jackson didn't think much of it.
When he said he was bring in "some loser in a clown costume" he assumed the guy had captured one of the Joker's minions.
When he finally rolled in sixteen minutes after the call-in, Jackson could barely believe his eyes as the Joker was shoved into the station like a common criminal by a plainclothes newbie.
"One Arkham escapee, ready for pickup," he says blandly, boredly.
"His...weapons - if you can call them that-" he rolls his eyes "-are still in my car. Didn't wanna give Chuckles here a chance to try slipping his cuffs. Again."
A vein stands out on the Joker's forehead as he grits his teeth, and Jackson leans back a bit before hesitantly calling pickup.
"I. Am. The Joker. The JOKER! You-!"
His tirade is interrupted by a positively gusty sigh, filled with unspoken boredom and exasperation.
"Laughy. Buddy. As far as I'm concerned you could be named 'completed warrant 65789529.' Save it for therapy."
Baxter pauses. Grimaces.
"Well, assuming your therapist isn't secretly a soul-sucking emotional parasite bent on using you deepest fears and insecurities to twist you into an ever darker state of mind for the sake of indulging her own twisted hunger."
Silence prevails, even the officers coming to take Joker off his hands pausing in the doorway at that.
"That was only the one therapist though, to be fair. And I'm pretty sure asylums have higher hiring requirements than high schools, so you should be fine.
Use that love of flowers to grow some actual flowers. Use that...fondness for vibrant colors to, like, make bouquets or something. Try being a florist. Like my not evil-therapist always says 'instead of berating yourself for your rage and aggression in the past, focus on what you can do for the future; transition your coping mechanisms so that your negative emotions can manifest themselves in more constructive ways.' That's why I took up knitting."
Evidently no one knew how to respond to that, as the silence continues until Baxter notices the officers in the doorway just then. He nods at his captive.
"A little help? I've got a family face-time scheduled in like 10 minutes."
The Joker - silent but visibly fuming - is carted away to holding, Baxter drops a bag of Jokers weapons, and laments when told he has to file them all himself.
Jackson watches as he writes "weird bad-smelling-mist-dispensing flower" on the Joker's gas boutonnière.
'Am I...high?' Jackson questions himself, half-hysterical as Dash continues on, labelling the lethal buzzer a 'prank-buzzer.'
At least the fake gun visibly is fake. The 'bomb?' - with a DAMN QUESTION MARK - on a small cylinder is less comforting.
Baxter finally leaves another 27 minutes later.
Testing the confiscated devices reveals normal Joker Gas in the flower and definitely lethal electricity levels from the buzzer.
Everyone thought the newbie was just a shit talker when he said the Gotham rogues aren't scary.
Jackson is loosing his mind.
Short DPXDC Prompts #599
Dash works at the GCPD. It’s been an interesting first few weeks. He can’t quite understand why everyone is so afraid of these rogues that the Bats and the Birds fight.
The other officers in the station just thought Dash’s comments on the matter was just the new guy talking shit. They ate their words when the newbie brought The fucking Joker into the station in handcuffs single-handedly.

what IS a chain post fr
basically just looooooong fucking asinine posts that have no business being that long. just the most boring motherfuckers on the planet repeating the same thing over and over again at each other. props if at the bottom there’s like fifteen other random people going “OMG IM CRYINGGGGGG” “wait this is the funniest thing ive ever seen—” “REBLOG FOR LIFE” and other various boooooooorrrrrriiiiiiinnnnnnnggggggg comments that should be left in the tags
and taylor LOVED THEM so all the people on here only for her attention would make and reblog them all the time, and by all the time i mean reblog it from themselves multiple times an hour, multiple times a second if taylor was active (not a requirement, it just happened to have a high amount of overlap with self-rebloggers, another super annoying thing people would do when taylor was here). so you had to cultivate your dash to avoid these people except you COULDN’T because TAYLOR SEIFT WOULD REBLOG THEM so your dash was never safe
in case you think i’m being too harsh here’s a few examples (i believe the last one is the one that inspired the post)
#asks*#that woman’s dash must have been a NIGHTMARE#i made this sideblog where i tried to follow everyone she followed#i did not get even a little bit close i think i got to like 4k#but i remember checking it during the lover era and being like… this is boring and sad#just a whole bunch of selfies mostly with the occasional joke#i lost it and tried to recreate it but i think im only at like 1k#much nicer now but also much less active

content warnings: horror. body horror. ghost show can have a little existential horror, as a treat! :)
...
Tucker and Danny sat as silhouettes in the Foley attic rec-room.
The ghoulish light of the television pinned their shadows against the back wall, pulsing in and out like fireflies at each flash of the screen. It left their backs drenched in darkness, and it made monoliths of the old furniture and piled-high boxes that wrapped the perimeter of the attic. Drafty air whistled through the gaps in the insulation. Plicks and flicks of moths beat in tone against the light of the television where the seal of the attic window failed to keep them out. Danny hounded the controller in his hands, clackering with each frenetic beat of his thumb while he mashed his buttons and leaned his full bodyweight into the assault he wrought, virtually until--
“BOOM!! Headshot!” Danny yelled with a pump of his fist. From his nonexistent peripheral vision, he could not see the way Tucker would not look at him.
“Come on, man,” Tucker said.
“Get it?” Danny asked.
“Dude, come on, like… Maybe don’t.”
Danny let out a disappointed huff of air from his nostril, spirits dampened. The wayward glow of his eye settled back on the screen: Victory blazoned across his split of the screen. You Died pulsed on Tucker’s. Danny mashed the rematch option. “Maybe get good then,” Danny said, “and then you get to make the bad puns.”
“Sorry man look I’m just—tired okay?”
“Yeah I know—”
“You can be goofy about it tomorrow—”
“I know—”
“I promise it’ll be hilarious then just—”
“Okay okay, I get it. I’ll save the jokes—”
“How much longer?”
“Hmm?”
Danny looked, and Tucker was looking now too, and it was taking all concentrated will on Tucker’s face to keep looking.
“How much longer until you’re like… You know.”
4am chimed from the grandfather clock stowed in the Foley attic. The ghostly sheen of the television splashed bright and pallid across the right side of Tucker’s face, as he stared at Danny. And it splashed bright across the left side of Danny’s face, which was the only side of Danny’s face remaining.
“I don’t know like… maybe 3 more hours, I think?” A lisp whistled from the absent flesh of his jawbone.
Tucker watched his lips. And his eyes drifted to the shadow carved dark and empty in the socket that could no longer see him, a merciful concealment of where skin turned to raw exposed flesh turned to bone.
Tucker looked forward again, and he mashed his thumbs into his own controller. Danny’s character’s skull exploded into a cloud of meat-rain before Danny had the chance to notice the match resume.
“Fine. I can do 3 more hours,” Tucker said. “And start watching your head.”
…
It wasn’t until the camping trip 4 months ago that Danny knew anything was strange.
It was a yearly Fenton tradition, which Danny tolerated and Jazz dreaded, to haul the four of them and the RV out into some swampy campground 3 hours from home. They’d roll in roaring, RV stuffed to the brim with wilderness equipment and enough mechanical monstrosities to scare away all actual wildlife. All except for the fish, who had the disadvantage of not seeing the mechanical affront to God parked with questionable legality on the campgrounds.
This year, Danny had decided he was embracing it. Because for the first time, sitting grubby and wet in the mud for 3 days sounded much nicer than his typical weekend plans, which was mainly getting his ass kicked by ghosts. He’d flagged down Valerie a week ahead of time to tell her, between gunshots, that he’d be absent for those 3 days. Valerie had taken equal offence at the request that she pick up Phantom’s slack, and the implication that she wasn’t already doing that.
But it meant the ghosts were covered for the weekend, and it meant Danny was free to do nothing more exciting than sit in the mud, which was all well and good enough for Danny. Although his hopes of leaving the weekend with the same number of scars he started with were dashed by hour 5. It was his own fault too. Jack had insisted Danny gut the fish Jack caught via a blast of the Fenton Disintegrator to the lake (unconventional, not even a fishing device, a ghost weapon he and Maddie were fine-tuning. A ranger came and yelled at them about it.) And while distracted by his parents getting told off for being menaces, Danny miscalculated the slipperiness of both fish and knife.
Luckily the RV was, among many many things, a hospital on wheels, and Jazz had quit sulking long enough to take a morbid fascination in cleaning Danny’s palm out with antiseptic that burned like acid and bandaging up his palm. For dinner that night, Danny ate his open-flame grilled fish with a little more prejudice than usual.
By Saturday, his hand hadn’t healed. Nor by Sunday. And on Sunday evening while Maddie and Jack busied themselves with packing up the tent they’d both invented and yet struggled to collapse back into its box, Danny flagged Jazz with quiet urgency.
“I think there’s something wrong with my hand.”
“Wrong how?”
“Infected, maybe.”
Jazz knit her brow in concern. “It looked fine this morning,” she muttered as she pulled Danny down onto the stump beside her and flipped open the First Aid kit latch. She unraveled Danny’s bandage layer by layer, and the concerned knit to her brow loosened to confusion.
“It looks fine. It’s barely even red.”
Danny snatched his hand back. “Yeah, and it’s barely healed at all.”
“I mean, it’s healed a little bit.”
“Yeah but. Barely.”
“It looks pretty normal.”
“Jazz my day-job is getting whacked with ghost machetes,” Danny said, tone growing a little tense at Jazz’s lack of concern. “I know how quickly cuts are supposed to heal.”
“And how quickly is that?”
“I mean. It depends. But like a day.”
“A day?”
“Or maybe 25 hours, I guess.”
“Danny, you cut yourself pretty deep.”
“26 hours max, literally.”
Jazz was staring. Danny felt awkwardly judged.
“Hey um, as a question Danny, do you remember the last injury you got before your ghost powers?”
Danny hesitated. He racked his brain and some part of him felt a little embarrassed how hard he had to search, as if it were shameful to have been so delicately uninjured before this whole thing.
“…Dash, maybe. But Dash it good at the kind of quick jabby punches that hit your nerve but don’t bruise.”
“Anything else?”
Danny fell quiet. Then brightened. “I fell off my bike last year. Racing Tucker. Scraped up my shin and knee.”
“And how long did that take to heal?”
The delight faded a bit. Danny thinned his lips thinking. “…Maybe a while.”
“Probably a few weeks.”
“Jeez, really? No.” Danny said. And he so deeply wanted to be offended, because he’d become the biggest expert in the family on getting his skin used as a ghost shrapnel canvas, which should make him the authority on injury healing. And Jazz was doubting all of that. “No. That’d heal in like. A day.”
“Maybe with ghost powers,” Jazz answered. “Maybe in ghost form. Which, currently and for the last 3 days, you have not been in.”
Danny fell quiet. He considered this information that deeply annoyed him until, with grudgingness edging to acceptance, he looked at his hand, and then his sister, and then his hand.
“….Oh.”
That night, home and showered and with the clock creeping toward 1am, Danny sat on his bed. He pooled his hands in his lap, lit by the moonlight pouring through his bedroom window. He sat an inch above his bed, in fact, hair shimmery white and his right glove removed. In the wash of moonlight he watched his palm. And there was something haunting, almost, in the way he could see the edges of the cut stitch themselves back together bit by tiniest bit. He lost himself in a grainy infomercial on his television, and when it ended, his cut was gone.
…
Phantom returned to the ghost fighting scene with an unwarranted new confidence. In truth nothing had changed. But Danny operated now with the knowledge that he was a particular kind of resilient that he’d not actually realized before. And while he did not like getting fileted by Skulker’s ghost gut-hook knife, or seared by Ember’s flame guitar, or bonked in the head by Fenton Bolas (Dad why), there was a certain delight in the “This will all not be a problem by tomorrow”-ness of it all.
Even better, he now knew that just idling in ghost mode for an extra hour or two was all it took to be right as rain again. (“This is making your Gameboy addiction worse than Tucker’s,” Sam had commented. “Well how else am I supposed to pass the time?” Danny asked while mashing buttons with one less finger than usual. “You could read a book.”)
On the flipside, it did make Danny grouchier about mid-school-day attacks, which didn’t afford him the luxury of floating around to bake in ghost mode for an hour or two watching bad tv. And unless Mr. Lancer got real chill real fast with Danny Phantom taking Danny Fenton’s English tests, it meant that any school-time fight injury had to be dealt with conventional human-style, and super-healed after school.
And Danny carried this knowledge with more bitterness than usual one fall afternoon when a fight with Technus had already gouged into the first 15 minutes of his math test, and now Danny was going to have to suck it up for the last 45 minutes if he wanted to pass geometry this quarter. Which was bullshit because that last blast Technus got on him had really fucking hurt.
Danny landed, and in his math-induced funk, he missed the particular wide-eyed way Sam and Tucker stared at him. “Here,” Danny said, handing off the thermos to Tucker, and Danny let his human transformation slip through in rings around his sternum.
“Danny stop,” Sam said, and with an urgent breathlessness that froze Danny in place. “Do not turn back.”
Confusion seeped into Danny’s blood. He let the transformation rings fade away, and he felt the thermos heavy in his outstretched hand that Tucker would not take. Heavy and wet. Heavy, and very very wet.
He looked at his hand, and his white glove was unrecognizable beneath the saturation of red. The thermos dropped from his hand, and suddenly Danny wasn’t so sure which direction was up.
“Sit,” Sam maybe said, or said something like it. Her hands were on his shoulders. He was easing in a direction that was probably down. His butt hit cold pavement. And suddenly he raked in a shuddering breath which was wet as mud.
Sam was pulling away the top of his suit, which was the worst possible place for her to do that considering how much it hurt. She was pulling right where Technus had blasted him, and Danny had half a mind to tell her off until he saw what was underneath the fabric.
“That’s not good,” he bubbled out through a lot of blood in his mouth and throat.
Baseball-sized. Like someone had taken a very large hole-puncher right to his sternum. A very good hole-puncher because it had in fact punched him straight through and run off with the little cut-out it stole. Globby flesh spilled to fill in some of the empty space. But a solid chunk of sternum, and heart, and lung, and spine, were rudely elsewhere.
Danny was in a very slippery wet dream, and his fluttering eyes agreed.
“No,” Sam said with an unnecessarily aggressive pinch of his skin. “Absolutely do not fall asleep.”
“Ow,” Danny said, maybe about the pinch but also his missing organs.
This wasn’t good enough for Sam who was a little bit ghost-shaded herself while she grabbed both Danny’s ears tight and angled Danny’s eyes to hers. “If you turn human now that’s going to be very very bad. You’re fine, Danny. You’re just in shock, I think. Focus on me. Come on, count with me Danny. 1. 2.”
“Isn’t counting sheep supposed to put you to sleep?” Danny quipped, but all the blood gurgling maybe ruined his delivery a little.

His heart sewed itself back together in 20 minutes. His esophagus and trachea kindly followed at the 27-minute mark, the last of the tubage knitting itself together and forming the correct kind of air-seal against anything else in his chest cavity. That was a blessing, because passing the time was easier when he could talk without re-enacting the elevator from The Shining – a joke Danny had tried to deliver several times and which refused to land.
And while he still did not have his new spine vertebrae nor sternum by the 30-minute mark, Danny could see the way the last of the white fear had left Sam’s face and the way Tucker could now face him directly. And that told him that however he looked, he no longer looked like someone who was going to die.
By the 1-hour mark, Danny sat drenched in his own blood from a fatal wound that no longer existed. And he’d missed his math test.
…
Super healing was cool. Very cool. What other kind of power lets you just walk away from fatal injuries?
At the close of a ghost fight, thermos capped, swimming in the eerie silence of a street cleared of screams, Danny stood. And he shivered. He ran his hands up and down his stomach, his chest, his back his face, pressing any pain-point to discover if his fingers would sink in wet and deep. Was it safe to transform back? If he made a mistake, would he notice fast enough? Would he be able to turn back again in time?
Alone in the snow of the Amity golf course. The roof of the mall. The back archives of the library. Danny lingered. Many places were good for lingering, and so Danny would linger, wherever and whenever he could. It made that held-breath feeling of transforming back easier, to know no part of him was at risk of undoing him.
And sometimes his hand did come away sticky. And in the black of night Danny went home, mindful to step only on the kitchen tile from which blood could be wiped up cleanly. And he was tired from too many nights of this when he pulled cereal from the cupboard and splashed milk into a bowl and cleared away the nuts and bolts from the half-undressed Fenton Disintegrator (undergoing v2 upgrades) and flickered the noxious glow of the muted television to life while his liver stitched itself back together. The tremble would not quite leave his cereal spoon hand but he’d manage.
One night Walker had blasted off half of Danny’s skull. And he lay shaking hunched on the pavement willing himself to overcome the pangs of shock radiating through his body until he had enough composure to call Tucker on the phone and ask if he could come over, if they could play Man vs. Zombie maybe, and stay awake through the night while his brain matter remade itself.
One night he had to grab Valerie by the ankle before she flew off, and she probably only heeded him because the break in Phantom’s superhero bravado unnerved her so much. “Please just stay and talk to me. Something bad will happen if I fall asleep,” he said, while holding the parts that used to be his stomach. “Define ‘bad.’” “I’ll die.” “Sounds like a human.” She shouldn’t have taken pity on him. But she did. Maybe because she was a human who would die like Danny if left on the pavement with her stomach open. Valerie stayed until the sun rose.
And he was lucky, because as a human he should have died. And Danny didn’t. He just came close, more and more and more. Until the sight of a raised ghost weapon forced a very human flinch from him.
…
“…losing an edge, you’d say, Craig?” “Not exactly. As a psychiatrist who’s worked with many veterans and active-duty soldiers, it’s common to—”
“Morning,” Jack said, flipping up his welding mask just long enough to nod to Danny before re-busying himself in his soldering.
“Dad, do you think maybe you could do that in the lab?” Jazz asked over a bowl of cornflakes, with a tone one might use when asking a 10-year-old to move his basketball game outside.
“Hmm, why? The table won’t catch fire.”
“Which is what you said last time,” Jazz said, carefully plucking up a cooled bit of metal scrap from beside her cereal bowl.
“…ffered many fatal injuries on camera, who knows how many weren’t capt—”
The television drowned beneath the screech of Jack’s welding, let up to breathe for moments at a time before Jack resumed the drowning. Danny’s eyes followed. The refurbished Fenton Disintegrator had nearly reformed, bigger than its original body, with a gaping fish-mouth twice the radius of the thing which had blasted up the fish in the campground lake.
“I just think, Dad, that you and Mom have a whooooole laboratory basement to yourselves, and I have just this one dining table to eat cereal at, so—”
“But then you kids would miss out on what I’m making. See, Danny’s interested. Danny, watch this—”
Jack hoisted the monster up. He hitched it atop his shoulder, and set his eye behind its sight, and twisted at the hip to point its open maw directly at Danny.
Danny froze.
“Dad, Jesus, at least show some trigger-discipline if you’re—Danny?”
Danny could not move. He could not move or really see. The shockwave rippled through him, and he believed for the moment that surely he’d been shot until Jazz shook him. “Danny, are you okay?”
Danny’s heart was intact but still it squeezed like it had been ripped. His legs were whole but they were numb beneath him. And he was useless too. Over what? Over nothing. Over a gun pointed at him, the sort which had been pointed at him 4,000 times before.
“…Danny?” Jazz asked, more worried than before. Jack had put down the gun, and he was staring at Danny in the same way.
And it was stupid. So very stupid. Because Danny had super-healing, and a hit from something like that would heal. It could rip him apart, and he’d be completely fine.
So it was all actually incredibly incredibly stupid that he was somehow, without even meaning to, crying.
…
The fight had ended three hours ago. And three hours was longer than only the worst of his injuries took to heal. Tonight had not been bad at all, just a bit of ripping and tearing at his leg from a bear-trap Skulker had laid (despite Skulker insisting he did not know what a bear was). And that had healed up in 20 minutes flat.
Danny lingered anyway, sitting soaking cold in the snow on the golf course. He liked that it was high-up here. He liked that the lights fanned far and wide. He liked that the razed-flat golf turf allowed nothing to hide. He wiled away the hours he ought to be sleeping, because there was a security in consciousness, in his ghost form. If he slept, he could be killed. And if he sat resting in ghost form on the crest of the golf course hill, he could not.
But he could nod off. Catching his head at each dip. But his mind fizzled and faded, rubbing against the staticky edge of sleep, enough to perhaps not notice steps in the snowfall that tracked him to where he sat.
The whir of the charging gun kicked him to high alert.
All alert, all at once, so suddenly adrenaline soaked that Danny had no sense of orientation when he spun on spot and his eyes drank in the sight of the barrel-mouth breathing to life in his direction.
“Told you I fixed the calibration on this, Honey.”
“Well at least it’s not a fish.”
Stop, Danny wanted to say. But he was paralyzed. He was dread. He was stone.
It screeched. And it roared. And with a connection of a car crash, it took greedily for itself a gibbous moon of Danny’s torso.
He collapsed. Eyes spinning. Ears ringing. Sensation like fire and like ice and like buzzing static and nothing, feeling, at all to connect to his legs.
Stop, Danny wanted to say. But he needed a mouth for that. So the second blast connected.
…
It had been an amount of time. Jack and Maddie Fenton may have stooped in the snow and collected samples to study. Danny could not know, because he’d need eyes to know. They may have crunched with their boots and mused about the resilience of ecto-flesh, more resilient than fish-flesh. Danny could not know, because he’d need ears to know. They may have picked him up piece-meal and carried him in their pockets. Danny could not know. Not without touch.
He may have been on the golf course. He may not have been. There was no ‘where’ Danny could know. He needed his proprioception for that.
There was was. There was something Danny hoped was be. This was, Danny hoped, awake. This was the only awake he could be without a brain. And if this was awake, how long could he last? And if this was awake, was it enough to heal again?
Super healing was cool. It saved you from death. But maybe not always.
Was time passing…? Was the snow cold. Was the wind blowing. Was the hilltop white under pooling lights. Was it. And did it. And was he and did he.
Was time passing?
Surely, it had been just an eternity, by now. An eternity at least.
Or had it been only one second.
Or Danny wasn’t here.
He was, though. He had to exist to feel what he felt in the moment. He had to exist even if he was deprived of the mouth needed to scream the agony that was, in its entirety, him.
…
Sun glazed the snow on the east bank of the golf course down to a slushy sheen by 10am the next morning. Mitted, in snow boots, three trespassers combed the 18 holes of Amity Park Golf Course.
“Are you sure it’s this one?” Sam asked, voice hoarse with a question that had been repeated once an hour for the last three hours between heaving breaths of clearing snow.
“It has to be this one. They said golf course there’s only one golf course,” Jazz answered, and her hands trembled against the heel of the shovel she dug into her nearest snowbank.
“Do you see any foot prints?”
“They’re melted.”
“Well check the melted sides then!”
“We checked the melted sides.”
“Maybe we missed—”
“Guys shut up,” Tucker said, and he said it low, and he said it with lips the color of ash. He stood rooted. And his eyes shifted to the crown of the hill 30 feet to their right.
Jazz and Sam shut up. Because they heard it too.
Jazz abandoned her shovel in the snow. She ran. But Sam was faster.
And it was a noise. Long and piercing and deflating. Quiet. Then starting fresh from the top. Long and singular, like the note of a bagpipe. Sam rounded the crest of the hill. And she found the noise first.
And this close, she realized what it was. The noise was relief. Because the thing lying in the melted snow was finally enough of a mouth, and enough of a throat, and enough of a lung, to scream.

Preview: On the Horizon
Summary: You've been pining over your coworker for a while now. He might not have realized but someone has.
Paring: Tyler Owens x F!Reader (with minor Scott x F!Reader)
Rating: Mature, 18+ only. Angst, smut, flirting and asshole!Scott A/N: Thanks to @writercole for the summary. Hoping to have this fic out next weekend!
You brush the sweat from your brow as you surreptitiously watch Scott work beside you. He doesn't seem bothered by the heat, typing away on his computer despite the stagnant air. It makes you long for the cool labs you used to work in before Javi recruited you. Although he'd likely tell you this weather was perfect for a storm, you're miserable. Meteorology wasn't even your field; you were here for your engineering expertise to handle the specialized equipment the team needed to gather their data.
From your vantage point on the tailgate of the truck, you observe the other storm chasers gather around Tyler Owens' red truck. The man in question emerges with a brilliant smile, and beside you, Scott scoffs, annoyed. He hates Tyler, and you're pretty sure the feeling is mutual from the brief interactions you've observed.
"Ass," Scott mutters, returning his attention to his computer.
When you look up again Tyler's gaze falls on you. He grins and winks, pulling down the brim of his hat in acknowledgment. Before you can react, he's turned to speak to one of the young women on his team, giving her his full attention. A hand rests casually on her shoulder.
You wish Scott would acknowledge you like that. You thought things would be different after the night you shared weeks ago, but he'd been quick to dash those hopes the next morning, ignoring you completely. He only seemed to look at you when he needed your tech skills or when you made a mistake. Your cheeks still burn from his last reprimand in front of the team.
Clearing your throat, his eyes briefly land on you before returning to the screen in front of him. "What?" he demands.
"Oh. I was going to get something to eat. Do you want something?”
"Yeah, you know what I like," he says dismissively. When it's clear that's all you're getting from him, you push off the truck onto the dusty road with a soft exhale and head into the gas station.
The air conditioning inside practically makes you groan with relief, and you take a moment to appreciate the cool air.
"You're not melting on us, are you, city girl?" You jump at the unexpected voice, surprised to see it belongs to Tyler. "MIT got you all wound up, huh?” He questions, amused.
"What?"
"Your boss," he clarifies.
"Oh, he's um... he's not my boss. Javi is."
"No?" he questions, brows raised. "Well, he certainly barks at you like he is."
Heat rushes to your face as you realize Tyler must have overheard Scott reprimand you yesterday after you miscalibrated one of the sensors.
"If you worked with my team, I'd be a lot nicer," he says.
You stare at him, unsure how to respond to his comment or the flirty tone. Before today you’d hardly spoken, he mostly interacted with Javi or Scott. You’re saved from answering when the bell on the door jingles and someone calls your name.
It’s Scott.
"Owens," he bites out, surprising you when he rests a hand on your shoulder and stands close enough that you feel his shirt brush your arm. Your lips part and your lashes flutter in response.
Tyler's gaze drops briefly to your mouth before returning to your face with a knowing smile. "Well, I enjoyed our chat," he tells you, not bothering to acknowledge Scott. "We should do this again, sweetheart."
"What did he want?" Scott demands, move to stand in front of you after Tyler’s gone.
"Oh, nothing. Just... saying hi."
Scott's jaw tenses, and he steps into your space, cupping your elbow. "You shouldn't talk to him," he advises.
When he tilts his head to stare down at you, something flickers in his dark brown eyes that looks an awful lot like jealousy. You glance over your shoulder at Tyler, only to have Scott say your name again, more forcefully. When you turn back around your suspicions are confirmed. For the first time since that night in the hotel room, you have Scott’s full attention and that sends a thrill of excitement through you.
You bite your lip, the beginning of an idea coming together.
Part 1 is now out!

This one is for all my retail pals
John Price has never worked retail in his life and it shows.
Price x reader, meetcute? if this qualifies
-
You're scrambling, have been since you walked through the door. They were already calling your name by the time you clicked your radio on.
From that moment forward you were hustling back and forth across the store, helping who you could, pulling orders for customer pick ups, trying to answer questions for the seasonal team members who got thrown to the wolves with slap dash training.
You're tired, you're hungry, and you've been listening to the same 5 christmas songs on repeat since the 1st of November.
You're trying to make it back to the break room for a quick snack, walking at mach speed, head lowered, praying that those you passed could see the sheer overwhelmed energy radiating off of you in waves and not ask you anything.
But there is always one.
“Excuse me!”
Your blood pressure shoots up immediately.
You stop short, try to school your expression into something friendly. He's a big man, shoulders wide enough to fill a doorway, with mutton chops that strike you as odd, but suit his face. The man hustles toward you, holding an expensive jacket out to you like a toddler.
“Can you tell me the price of this?”
Everyone thinks you have a scanner.
The chops age him, but a closer look reveals that he must only be a little older than you, pretty blue eyes scrunched apologetically. You think this grown ass man should be old enough to see the scanners staged on every other aisle, the big signs attached to the ceiling highlighting their location. Irritation wells up like a geyser as you pull the garment from his hand searching for a tag.
You search and search, even fishing around in the pocket to see if some kind soul accidentally yanked it off and put it back.
“Must be free!” Chops chuckles, and you think you should be able to pass out one free throat punch a day for simply working under these conditions.
It takes effort, not to shrivel up like a raisin over the monotonous comment. Trying desperately to focus on finding the fucking price and ignore the way the big bastard bores holes into your face. He could have looked it up on his phone, you're certain, but instead he's standing a little too close, watching you flounder, at least his cologne is nice.
A painful silence falls between you when you don't even giggle at his joke. But you must have a scrap of patience left in you because the angel of good will tugs on your ear, reminds you that not everyone stares at this shit day in and day out like you do, and he probably would have trouble finding it online anyway.
You suck in a deep breath, fish out your own phone to pull up your company's website.
“M'sorry for the trouble sweetheart” he murmurs, rolling almost sheepishly on his heels, hands reaching at his shoulders as if to grab something that isn't there, falling uselessly at his sides as he hovers over your shoulder.
The pet name should piss you off, but the rumbly timber of it tickles you somewhere in your monkey brain, he is a handsome thing, and something about the way he crosses his arms, peers over your shoulder like this was a problem he's helping you solve is kind of endearing.
You feel bad immediately for your bitchy attitude toward the fella.
“Sorry It's taking a second, I'm trying”
“I can see that, I appreciate you. I know you lot are busy, think I've seen you make a few laps now.” he teases, nodding to the bustle of people about the store, rummaging through once neatly folded tables like it's a yardsale.
You type in the style number with a little amused huff. “You have no idea, I get in miles trotting around this place” you joke, scrolling through site’s workwear options to match the jacket in your hand. It's one of the nicer one's the store carries, a sturdy brown canvas with a fleece lined collar and interior. You try to make small talk that you're notoriously terrible at.
“You must work outside.”
“Something like that” he muses, “been meaning to get the house prepped up for winter, I waited a bit late.”
You snort, “Hell me too, I barely have enough wood left for the stove myself, I'm just going to pile on blankets this winter!”
“Well that won't do.”
The hard tone of Chop's voice breaks you from your searching. A quick glance confirms he's serious, brows pinched as his posture has shifted to looking directly at you. Chin tucked to his chest.
“What?”
“You've got no one taking care of you?”
Nosy fuck. You don't know why you get defensive. “I take care of me just fine.” you retort confidently, finally pulling up the stupid jacket and telling him the price.
“Negative.” is all he replies, looking at you with the same stern gaze. You suddenly feel like a child, wanting more than anything to prove to this man you were more than qualified to handle yourself. You work retail for fucks sake.
He cuts you off before you can smart off again. “You're going to write down that number for the coat, and your number, so I can bring a load of lumber by. I won't have a pretty thing like shiverin’ in the night.”
Something inside your brain purrs at the idea. The idea of somebody looking out for you when you barely have time to keep your clothes washed and body fed was…appealing. Especially coming from a pretty gorgeous stranger. And yet?
“I'm not giving my number to a stranger, sir.” you retort with some semblance of authority.
Chops is having none of it, he makes a pointed show of raking his eyes down to your nametag dangling against your chest before flickering back up to your face. Your name rolls off his tongue easily, and you can't help the little shiver up your spine at the timber of it.
“John Price” he offers after, big paw curling around your own to shake playfully. “Not strangers now are we?”

cha cha chase, gregory house
🥼🩺 | house finds out you're a dancer.
masterlist: greg house n all
tags! house being house, fluff of sorts? house x reader def
"aww that's cute," house tilted his head in amusement, eyes twinkling with signature mischief. you were going to hate this. in fact, you were already dreading it. "we can all give foreman a lap dance."
you rolled your eyes, prepping your dearest ex-friend's arm for a transfusion. "did you have to say all that?"
"what? people should know you were a dancer, especially with a boss like that," she sweetly and very innocently shrugged, before looking at house with pride. "she's got killer mo—"
"—alright!" you jammed the needle roughly, shutting her up. "you'll fall asleep in right about... now."
she dozed off, but not before catching you with a triumphant frown about your lips. oh you were pissed, at least she didn't need to deal with it until after the treatment.
you would've cooled down by then. but you were also in trouble. why? because of that stupid grin house had on his stupid face.
"so you used to dance."
"and you used to walk."
"ouch. low blow!"
"i can blow even lower."
you cringed. the words left your mouth sooner than you could think.
"you definitely have the knees for it," house chuckled, practically looking up into heaven with an extremely exaggerated grateful look.
"shut up. and don't ask."
his brows shot up, face contorting a theatrical face of an innocent. "how could you assume the worst in me!"
"my bad," you deadpanned. "i think it's just your track record with insanely inappropriate jokes."
you slipped swiftly out of the room, keen to get house off of your hair. but for a cripple, he was insanely fast. this man could do more than he let out, but that was only to make people like yourself, his victim-of-the-day fellow, miserable.
house was a smart man, but his aptitude was used for the worst. nothing was a viable escape, he was going to hold this over you until the day you die.
"i ask first," he snarked, making a gesture with his finger. "uhm, i have something inappropriate to say. can i say it?"
you glared at him over your shoulder. he was hot on your trail. if only you could get to the flight of stairs quicker.
he blinked all cutesy, innocently batting his lashes as you two turned the corner. "were you a stripper?"
you threw your head back, eyes rolling back to the point it felt like someone was gauging them out. house looked excited at the prospect. even if you weren't, close enough.
finally, you turn to him with an unimpressed purse about your lips and an angry furrow to your brows. house towered over you, all but amused at your well invited and justified anger. he thought it was cute.
"so?" he cocked a brow, still twinkling in mischief.
"answer's no," you half-calmly answered, titling your head, formulating a wicked idea.
you grabbed house's wrinkled collar, standing on your tip toes, snaking your hand on his shoulders.
"but i am a dancer," you whispered, mustering a sickeningly sweet voice. you trailed your fingers along his neck, letting your breath fan his ear as you crooned your head slightly, just as how you would with your dance partner.
some part of you had a daring inkling to knock his cane over, still unnerved over his shenanigans that last christmas he duped you into getting him a pricey gift.
fortunately for house, you weren't him.
but you maintained your hold on him, before letting out a hum at the same time you descended back to the soles of your foot. an innocent smile creeping on your lips, lashes batting the same way he'd done seconds ago.
"that's right, dancer..." house trailed, with a gaping mouth, still in a childish drawl.
"doctor, actually. the id says m.d., but thanks," you remarked nonchalantly, whipping away in a spin to dash into your escape. "you hired me remember?"
"because you had nice legs!" house shouted in a last ditch effort to win, seemingly paralyzed on the spot. "and even nicer knees!"
you had outrun him for now, although you knew it wasn't long before he revived into an ever meaner bloom. and you were right to dread it, because hours later, house was sitting with a triumphant smirk about his face. he somehow found a video of you dancing embarrassingly online, no doubt with the help of lucas, and forwarded it to any and all.
that only strengthened your resolve for revenge. house was fucked, but he welcomed your challenge.
who knows? maybe he could just get a lap dance out of it.

Danyal Al Ghul: Incorrect Quotes and Miscellaneous Thoughts
Incorrect quotes-style snippets specifically for my danyal al ghul au here (which i really need to come up with a unique au name for atp). Because I thought it'd be funny. And also some miscellaneous headcanons thrown into the mix. Some context for the au: - Danyal is 5 years older than Damian (so 10 and 15) - Danny faked his death when he was 10. Talia knows and helped him with it. - Jazz, Sam, and Tucker do not know he's an ex-assassin.
-------- Snippet 1
Danny, dryly tapping his temple: I have, as the Americans say, irreparable psychological damage, right here.
Jazz, an older sibling first and foremost: well, it's good that you're self-aware.
-------- Snippet 2
Danny, aged 10, in the American foster planning to just age out of the system: *emanating Bad Vibes. Pure, Little Orphan Tom Riddle Energy*
Jazz, aged 12, coming in to adopt a new sibling with her parents: Him. This is my brother now :)
Danny: ...what
--------
Lilo and Stitch is Danny's favorite Disney movie. He watched it when he was 11 with Jazz when she was attempting to connect with him, and by this point Danny was becoming receptive to her efforts. They had a movie marathon in the living room one night.
Safe to say? It resonated with his little 11 year old heart strongly, and he related very strongly with both Nani and Stitch. He got unexpectedly emotional and hid in his room for the rest of the night. Jazz felt really bad, but it had the intended (but kinda unexpected) effect of him trying to be nicer to her afterwards.
-------- Snippet 3
Dash, aged 12, causing trouble again and getting intercepted by Danny: *scaling up a desk* AHHHHH! GET YOUR LITTLE FREAK, FOLEY!
Tucker: Hey! Danny is not a freak!
Dash: GET HIM TO BACK OFF
Tucker, was the kid Dash was messing with: ....whats in it for me
-------- Snippet 4
Danny, saying some questionably immoral shit: What. Why are you looking at me like that.
Tucker: Bro. I mean this as kindly as possible; what the fuck?
Sam: yeah, I'm with Tuck on this one.
-------- Snippet 5
Danny, ranting about Vlad: if it weren't for the laws of this land, I would have slaughtered him
Sam, painting his nails black: I'm pretty sure you'd slaughter him regardless of the laws of the land -- and quit moving, you're gonna mess me up.
Tucker: we've literally seen you debate yourself about this, Dan
Danny: ...you are correct, but it is the principle of things.
-------- Snippet 6
Vlad: I have experience my child, and the money and power attained through using those powers for personal gain, you say. I could train you, teach you everything I know! And all you have to do is renounce that idiot adoptive father of yours.
Danny, was already contemplating committing a Violence: ....
Danny, internally: I'm going to stab him *turns into Phantom*
--------
Funny contrast I realized between Danyal and Vlad that iirc I haven't pointed out yet is that imo, Danyal doesn't rely on his powers nearly half as much as canon Danny does. He falls back instinctually on his League training, and thus sometimes forgets to use his powers in battle. This was prevalent especially early on when he was still getting used to the whole 'halfa' thing.
He incorporates them more often after a year, but still for the most part relies on his own physical hand-to-hand combat. He trusts those skills much more than he does his powers. I'm not sure where he is on a technical level compared to canon, but just to stay safe I'll say he's similar in power skill as canon Danny. Perhaps a little more finessed than him because his League training would probably have him trying to figure out his powers as soon as possible.
But in summary? Danny is strong in hand-to-hand combat, weak in powerset.
Meanwhile Vlad is the opposite. I can't recall if he even knows hand-to-hand in canon, but it makes total sense to me that Vlad Masters wouldn't because he's so confident in his monetary influence and ghost abilities that he sees no need for it.
And he's kinda got some merit behind it. He's very powerful and has 20 years of experience to experiment and fine tune his powers. He's got bite to follow up his bark. He's perfected long-range combat and his ability to phase through walls makes it impossible to corner him, but if you can manage it, then one good hit could probably knock him on his ass.
So in summary, Vlad is strong in powerset, weak in hand-to-hand combat.
And it casts a good contrast between the two of them in that regard. Danny, as a fellow halfa, can follow Vlad when he phases through walls and is fast enough to land a hit on him. His league training as an assassin, albeit rusty, is still deep ingrained enough in him that he can hold up as a rather veritable threat against Vlad without needing his powers.
But Vlad can force Danny to use his powers more often through use of his own. The duplication is the first thing to come to mind: Danny's fast enough to dispel them on his own without powers, and smart enough that he could figure out who the real one is if given a few minute. But that's not always efficient enough.
Good foils for each other that way. Also Vlad's Plasmius design mimics Ra's juuust enough that he looks like Ra's knockoff loser second cousin no one talks about, which only fuels Danny's hatred.
-------- Snippet 7
Danny, ranting about Vlad for the first time: --and it's only made worse by the fact that the little ingrate resembles a cheap knock-off of my grandfather!--
Sam, choking on her water: he what--
Tucker, doing a spittake: HE DOES?
#dpxdc#dp x dc#danny fenton is not the ghost king#dp x dc crossover#dpxdc crossover#danyal al ghul au#i have a doodle of that little scene with vlad actually. its in my notebook lmao.#danny gets *furiously* shakespearan when he's insulting someone. sam and tucker have recorded some of his rants#and they are just pure gold.#sam and tucker calling danny 'dan' as a nickname 2024.#which reminds me about how TUE would even happen. someone in my ao3 comments made a good point about how they weren't sure if my danyal#would even have a TUE occur because he's not the cheating type. i've seen clips of how he got his hands on the test answers but i'll need t#watch the episode to gauge if Dan is even feasible. and if he is what changes to make him happen. hmmm. much to think about#don't think danyal would stay with vlad even in the midst of his grief. hmhmhm#dpdc

⭐️ - Max - prompt: I will ease your mind (from bridge over troubled water) please thank you 🫶🏻 ily darling
You’re fine. It’s Friday. You’re fine.
You’ve got an afternoon and two whole days of being able to pretend your job doesn’t exist. To bury your work phone at the bottom of your handbag and only fish it out Monday morning. To get the tube home, go straight to bed and fall asleep without dinner—
fuck. Shit.
You’re meant to be getting dinner with Max.
That’s why you wore the cute (but still work appropriate) outfit today. The slightly nicer shoes. Your hair is even done. But you’re already on public transport going the opposite way to where dinner is supposed to be. You’re exhausted, you’re sinking into the seat like it’ll swallow you whole. Like if you try hard enough you could teleport straight to your bed.
You sigh, you fish your (non-work) phone out of your bag.
It only rings once before Max has already picked up.
“Schat,” he breathes, worried, like something might have happened to you, “What is it?”
You’re shaking your head, “Nothing. Nothing. Except I got on the tube home, instead of to dinner. It’s— hmm— it’s been a long day. To say the least.”
You hear a noise from him, a contemplative hum, the scrape of a chair, “Where are you? I’ll come get you.”
“I—”, you frown glancing at a map of the stops, trying to puzzle through your memory, “Like halfway to my apartment… I dunno though, Maxie. I’m wiped. I won’t be any fun at dinner.”
You hear footsteps echoing, “You don’t have to be fun for me”, then, “Get off the train, schat. I’ll take you home.”
You hum, “Are you sure?”
“I’m sure. I’m already in my car.”
Max picks you up on the side of the road by the train station ten minutes later. You slide into the passenger seat of his car, lean over the dash and kiss him. He mumbles a sweet hello against your mouth, his hand hovering at your jaw, drifting into your hair. After the kiss is finished you press your forehead into his cheek and sigh. A prolonged tired thing.
“Work bad?”, he asks, hand gently cradling the back of your neck now.
“Awful,” you breathe, “So bad.”
“Mm,” he strokes the skin on your neck, “Let me take you home, liefje. We’ll order your favourite.”
“Please,” you murmur, “Can we watch Tangled too?”
Max snickers a little into your hair, “Whatever you want.”
You pull yourself from his grip, kissing his cheek before settling into the passenger seat. It’s not a long drive home, but as it goes on you feel the exhaustion sinking deep into your bones. The work day wearing on you even more now that it’s over. Max can see it on you, the way your thoughts are still fumbling through the issues of the day, the things you’ll have to deal with come Monday.
You’re distracted on the elevator ride to your floor, while you fish your keys from your bag, even as you flick the lights on by the door and set your bag on the kitchen counter. Max trails behind you, crowding you in the kitchen. He puts his arms around you, puts his nose into your shoulder. Kisses the junction of your neck.
“You should quit,” he says, quiet, low— you feel something skitter down into your gut as you lean back into him, “Move in with me and the cats. They love you.”
“Yeah,” you say, fishing for something else, “Do they?”
“Of course, schat,” his breath fans against your ear, “and so do I.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah.”
ohhhhh to have someone tell u to quit your job so they can take care of u. anyway i hope this is kinda what u had in mind🥰 also tangled like is the ultimate comfort movie for me
send me a prompt/request + a driver and i’ll write a drabble. pls check my requests are open first💖
#sorry this took a few days viv!!!! i hope u enjoyed it!!!#max verstappen x reader#f1 x reader#💫drabbles#drabbles:mv33

I just had a thought prompt bullshit.
Prompt DCXDP
Band Danny Fenton(17), his ex is Dash Baxter
New Fan of Danny Damian(17), His Recent Ex is Jonathan Kent
Two heartbroken fuckers
One is a majestic gay singer with a heart of gold and a possibly suspicious identity and odd friends.
One is Handsome Gay Rich Boy Son who has a secret vigilante life who's absolutely Smitten with the "civilian" singer Danny
It's not immediately like sort of a dense At Feelings Idiots then going to Idiots In Love Type of relationship.
So it starts with a Heartbroken Damian trying to cope through the intense unfamiliar emotions and finds a Recently Debuted and Slowly Going Viral Band Named "Phantom's Core" or "Ecto-Heart"(this sounds like a song title ngl—) and he realizes, Damn the songs are relatable as shit, he just starts listening to them and their new songs all the time and then BOOM! They're famous now because Damian Wayne keeps Posting About them and now his room is half filled with Masterpieces Art and Stuff and the other half is The Band Posters and Fanart Of Danny Fenton the Lead Singer.
Then he soon realizes they're also in the same school as he stumbles upon him in their 2nd years and having the same classes, that's where the slow burn happens, Damian is nice and smiles towards Danny but not much to others.
The Batfam is absolutely going paranoid, I mean it's Damian Wayne. He's smiling?? LAUGHING?? and GETTING ALONG WITH A CIVILIAN?? It's a miracle if anything for Them because he's gonna be much nicer when Danny is around to visit and do projects or Homework or study nights with Damian.
Alfred already approves of the Kid, he's nice kind hearted clumsy sure and also it's the fact that he's covered in scars that were clearly not "accidents" as the kid tries to excuse it.
Maddie and Jack are supportive parents and Bruce Wayne cannot absolutely not adopt Danny because of that and Damian also opposes cuz he has a crush on the Boy.
MY LINE OF THOUGHT NOW!
How does Danny CONFESS to an already Inlove with Him Damian.
A song Album Called "Confessions to Your Shadow" with 6 + 1 song that has their first letters that spells like
D
A
M
I
A
N
+ this song that's titled "I think I'm Inlove."
YES! HAHAHAHA
Idk how to do the phantom aspects and the vigilante parts yet but that's my prompt.
Edit: I forgot to add the inspo.
It's ROMANTIC HOMICIDE LIVE VERSION <33

Masterlist ♡ Glen Powell Character Masterlist
It’s sweltering in the midday sun and you wipe the sweat from your brow as you surreptitiously watch Scott work beside you. He doesn't seem bothered by the heat, typing away on his computer despite the stagnant air. It makes you yearn for the cool, controlled environment of the labs you used to work in before Javi recruited you. Although he'd likely tell you this weather was perfect for a storm, you're miserable. Meteorology isn’t even your specialty; you’re here for your engineering skills to manage the specialized equipment the team relies on for their data collection.
Perched on the tailgate of the Storm Par truck, you have a clear view of the other storm chasers clustering around Tyler Owens' red truck. The man in question emerges with a brilliant smile, and beside you, Scott scoffs, annoyed. He hates Tyler, and you're pretty sure the feeling is mutual.
"Ass," Scott mutters, returning his attention to his computer.
When you look up again, you catch Tyler watching the two of you. You know he’s more than likely looking for a chance to provoke Scott, but to your surprise, he offers you a wink and pulls down the brim of his hat in acknowledgment. Before you can react, he's turned to speak to one of the young women on his team, giving her his full attention. A hand rests casually on her shoulder.
You wish Scott would acknowledge you like that. You thought things would be different after the night you shared weeks ago, but he quickly dashed those hopes the next morning, ignoring you completely. He only seemed to look at you when he needed your tech skills or when you made a mistake. Your cheeks still burn from his last reprimand in front of the team, the sting of his criticism lingering.
Clearing your throat, Scott’s eyes briefly land on you before returning to the computer screen.
"What?" he demands.
"I was going to get something to eat. Do you want anything?”
"Oh, he's um...he's not my boss. Javi is."
"No?" he asks, brows raised. "Well, he certainly barks at you like he is."
Heat rushes to your face as you realize Tyler must have overheard Scott reprimand you yesterday after you miscalibrated one of the sensors.
"If you worked with my team, I'd be a lot nicer," he says.
You stare at him, unsure how to react to his comment and the suggestive tone. Before today, you’d barely spoken to him, although you get the impression that his flirtatious nature is just a normal part of his outgoing personality. Thankfully, you’re spared from having to figure out how to respond when the doorbell jingles and someone calls your name.
It’s Scott.
"Owens," he bites out.
Your lips part in a surprised inhale as he places a hand on your shoulder and stands so close that you can feel the fabric of his shirt brushing against your arm. Tyler's gaze drops briefly to your mouth before returning to your face with a knowing smile.
"Well, I enjoyed our chat," he tells you, not bothering to acknowledge Scott. "We should do this again, sweetheart."
Once he’s gone, Scott moves to stand in front of you "What did he want?" he demands.
"Oh, nothing. Just...saying hi."
Scott tenses, and he steps into your space, cupping your elbow. "You shouldn't talk to him," he advises.
When he tilts his head to stare down at you, something flickers in his blue eyes that looks an awful lot like jealousy. You glance over your shoulder at Tyler, only to have Scott say your name again, more forcefully. Turning back, you find his intense dark blue eyes locked onto yours. For the first time since that night in the hotel room, you realize you have Scott’s full attention and that sends a thrill of excitement through you.
You bite your lip, the beginning of an idea coming together.
An opportunity arises to put your plan into motion later that night. Nearly everyone has descended on the only motel in town, but no one seems interested in staying in their rooms. Music pumps from Tyler’s red truck and another group grill burgers nearby. Alcohol is flowing freely as different teams mingle.
You spot Scott busy inside the Storm Par command van, completely absorbed in his work. From experience, you know any attempt to pull him away would be pointless, but spending time with Tyler just might. You linger at the edge of the parking lot, trying to muster the courage to approach the Tornado Wrangler crew. They’re sharing beers and laughing, but when you look closer you realize a lot of them are still working in some way or another. Lily has the inner workings of her drone exposed, tinkering while Dani and Tyler look like they’re securing something to the side of his truck.
Suddenly what felt like a great idea earlier now seems silly. So does your sundress and the time you spent making yourself look nice. Any attempt to enact your plan would mean intruding on their little bubble. Besides, you’re not even sure this hairbrained idea would even work on Scott a second time.
You turn to head back to your room when Tyler calls out, “Hey city girl, you want a beer?”
You freeze, eyes closing briefly as you realize there’s no turning back now. You’ve been spotted. When you face him again Tyler is watching you with a casual, expectant smile. He leans against the hood of his truck with one arm draped over it.
“Come on, we don’t bite,” he encourages.
“Not unless you ask us to,” Boone chimes in, earning a collective groan and playful slap to the back of his head from Dani.
Someone tosses you a beer, and you fumble to catch it. It’s icy and slippery. Tyler watches you with a raised eyebrow as a slow, amused smile spreads across his face. You’ve never felt less cool in your life and you end up looking anywhere but him.
“Hey…you’re an engineer right?” Lily calls out. “You wanna take a look at the wing here? She’s giving me some trouble.”
You glance at the Storm Par van, half expecting Scott to come to scold you for even considering helping the enemy, but he’s still inside.
“Tin Man seems pretty tied up with his work,” Tyler observes. “I think you’re safe to join us, Dorothy.”
You blink, both surprised and a bit embarrassed to realize just how obvious you must be. “Uh, yeah, I can take a look,” you tell Lily.
She grins, shifting back on her heels. You follow her over to the truck to examine the drone. Lily talks you through everything she’s already tried so far with Cairo and you ask her a few questions in return. After a bit of trial and error, you identify the issue. Thankfully it's a quick fix.
Boone lets out a low whistle, impressed. “You know, if things don’t pan out with the corporate overlords, I bet Ty would offer you a spot on our team.”
“I’ll keep that in mind,” you reply, watching Tyler round the truck and draw closer to you.
“I’m a much nicer boss than Scout,” he promises.
“He’s not my boss,” you remind Tyler. “And his name is Scott.”
“Oh, I know, sweetheart,” he intones, holding your gaze with an intensity that makes it hard to focus on anything but the way he’s looking at you.
You let out a nervous little chuckle, realizing that you hadn’t actually planned for anything beyond capturing Tyler’s attention. Glancing down at the beer in your hands, you fiddle with the label until Tyler takes the bottle. He twists off the cap and hands it back without a word.
You offer him a quick, “thanks,” and take a sip. The lukewarm, hoppy flavor tingles on your tongue. You make a face.
“Not a beer girl?” Tyler asks, drawing back to give you a thoughtful once-over. He hums consideringly. “No, you strike me as a rosé-all-day type.”
“Actually, I’m a whisky girl,” you lie, grinning at the surprised blink you get in response.
“I must be losing my touch,” he confesses, leaning into your space and letting you catch the faint scent of his cologne or deodorant—something sharp and clean like the ozone that lingers in the air after a storm. “Unless, of course, you’re just messing with me,” he continues. “But you wouldn’t do something like that, would you, city girl?”
The way he stares at you suggests that he’s not just talking about your choice of drink. Before you can stop yourself, you look over his shoulder, searching for Scott. Tyler doesn’t turn to see what has your attention. He doesn’t need to, you realize.
“A lesser man might take that as a blow to his ego.” His tone is teasing as he uses two fingers under your chin to gently guide your gaze back to him. “Lucky for you, darlin’, I’m a big boy.”
A prickling warmth spreads across your body, and your jaw muscles tingle with a mix of embarrassment and anxiety. You must have been horribly transparent in your attempt, you realize.
“I’m not…I didn’t,” you stumble over your words as Tyler’s smile grows.
“The decent thing to do is ask,” he encourages. He cranes his neck behind him and you see Scott’s finally noticed the two of you together. “Better make it quick, he’s on his way over here now.”
“What?”
“You know what,” he replies, tapping your nose.
Panic settles in, your reluctance to admit what you were trying to do warring with your desire to get Scott’s attention. “Okay, okay, fine,” you relent. “I’m trying to make Scott jealous.”
You can see Scott over Tyler’s shoulder now, his expression dark. He’s second away from being in hearing range. “Tyler. Please.”
“Well since you said the magic word.”
He turns and in one smooth motion throws his arm over your shoulder to draw you in close. That seems to surprise Scott whose pace slows as he approaches. Your heart flutters wildly in your chest as you gaze up at him, acutely aware of Tyler’s body pressed firmly against your side.
“Hey, Scooter,” Tyler greets. “Want a beer?”
Scott’s cheek ripples in annoyance. “No,” he says curtly.
“Suit yourself.” Tyler shrugs. He grabs the bottle in your hand and takes a long drink from it before handing it back to you. “Nothing better than a cold one after a day of chasing storms.”
Scott’s nostrils flare and he utters your name in a clipped tone.
“Uh, I better go,” you tell Tyler. “Thanks for the beer.”
“Well, I hope to see more of you later, sweetheart,” he replies with a wink.
The second you’re within reach, Scott’s hand is on your upper back and quickly moves to rest at the base of your neck. You feel a little like an errant school child with the way he guides you past the rest of Tyler’s crew, whose goodbyes are decidedly less enthusiastic than their welcome. Boone glances between you and Scott, making a face that you can’t quite decipher.
“I thought you were headed to bed early,” Scott accuses as soon as you’re out of earshot of the crew. He’s tense beside you, fingers flexing against your skin.
“I was but then the Wrangler crew invited me to join them for a beer.” He doesn’t need to know you sought them out for your ill-conceived plan.
Scott scoffs, moving in front of you. He stares down at you. “You shouldn’t be wasting your time with those hillbillies.”
“They aren’t so bad,” you defend until he pins you with a quelling look. You know Scott well enough by now to drop the topic, even if his words don’t sit quite right with you. Tyler and his friends were nothing but kind to you tonight.
“Storm Par can’t be seen spending time with those amateurs. It’s bad for business. You should know better.”
You realize, with a sinking feeling, that he’s not jealous — he’s just angry. He’d probably be just as upset if another member of your team was seen mingling with the so-called enemy. How could you have been stupid enough to think talking to Tyler would make him want you again?
“Come on,” Scott urges, seemingly intent on walking you back to your hotel room.
At the door, you wave the card over the keypad and shoulder the old, warped door open. Before you can turn to bid Scott a good night a hand on your hips pushes you forward and he follows you inside. The door shuts and he plucks the keycard from your hands, thoughtlessly tossing it on the bedside table.
His mouth is on yours before you can speak, his hands grabbing at the hem of your sundress. The shift in his mood is enough to disorient you and you don’t resist when his tongue invades your mouth. The back of your knees hit the bed and then he’s on top of you, warm and solid. He pulls roughly at the strap of your dress, his teeth nipping at the exposed skin. When you feel his hand land on your inner thigh you push at his chest.
“Wait, Scott,” you breathe. This feels nothing like your last time together.
He pulls back, a tick in his jaw as he stares down at you. “It's been a long day,” he says, “and we both know you want this.”
You do want him, more than anything, but there’s something about his tone and words that dredge up an uncomfortable feeling in your chest. It makes your skin prickle, and you avert your gaze, suddenly uncertain. Above you, Scott sighs, and you feel his fingertips gently touch your jaw. You think of Tyler suddenly, his teasing tone and the amusement in his green eyes. When you look back at Scott, his unreadable blue eyes meet yours.
The bed creaks as he shifts back. “I can just go,” he offers.
“No, please don’t.” The words escape your lips before you even realize you’ve spoken. This is what you wanted, you remind yourself. Scott’s the kind of man you always dreamed about, handsome and intelligent – one of those Ivy League boys who never looked twice at you in college.
“Good answer,” he says with a smile.
You pull him closer, and as his lips find yours once more, the lingering discomfort fades away. You’re finally getting what you’ve wanted.
Aren’t you?

Ex-boyfriend Gojo who shows up at your house 5 years later. He looks a bit different now.
|Souls are laid to rest after the death of the body. As for Gojo Satoru, his soul rests with you. In other words, your terrible ex-boyfriend is having way too much fun haunting you|
|satoru gojo x reader, fluff, lil bitty angst, gojo being gojo, 1400 words, desi-coded reader|
previous series masterlist
Sometimes you wonder if you are a character trapped in a story. Ant in a glacier, you shout and kick but are ultimately powerless, swept along by a narrative you are but a puppet to. It’s nothing new, you’ve felt this way every day for the past almost 30 years; days that keep passing by while you remain where you were.
Your author could have written you a story where you’re a princess and the dashing knight falls in love with you. Or perhaps where you’re a powerful elf magician who conquers the universe. Hell, even a side character in Mob Psycho 100 gets a nicer life than you.
It only follows that your author is bored and talentless and cruel, because why else would they torment you like this? Why else would the love of your life come back to haunt you?
“... hey, honeycheeks?” Satoru opens an eye. For the past few days since he appeared he’s taken to sleeping (or quietly hovering horizontally) on his side of the bed next to you. “Why are you still up?”
Lately it feels like everything you do is done through you, rather than by you. You have to do something, feel something, assert your freedom of action. Make you feel like a person again.
You scream for a full 20 seconds before Satoru, aghast, claps a hand (that passes right through you) to your mouth, worried that the neighbours will start banging on the wall, a stray ‘shut the fuck up!’ wafting in through the window. You haven’t slept well since he got here, except, you know, when you passed out. If your current mental state is anything to go, he needs to get you to bed before you lose it completely.
“No– get off– I have to–are you real, Satoru? Are you? Am I?”
Satoru’s never been able to hide his thoughts from you, so you can see clear on his face the fear and worry about you. A tinge of pity too. You’re behaving so erratically, so unlike the calm rational lady he remembers you as, one who took all of life’s curveballs in stride. Has he hurt you that much? What does it say about the kind of person Satoru is if his reappearance hurts you more than his disappearance?
The ghostly form is warm, warm as the sun’s heat on a winter day, and he opens his arms to call you to its warmest core– his heart. You lie back down, pulled into the bedsheets and you shock yourself when you reflexively pull the blankets over both your heads. Like you used to. Like you haven’t forgotten.
Satoru glows too. Gentle light of fireflies and starlight. All humans do, you remember reading in your physics textbook: all heat-emitting bodies emit light energy as well. Satoru is all soul and no body to bar the glow– he lights up your little cave under the blankets.
“I’m real, my love.”
Why does it wrap thorns around your insides? Why do the tears burn down your neck, refusing to obey your composure? Why are you losing your grip on everything?
“I’ve always imagined that you’d come back.” Your whispers slip out before you can help it. “You’d stand on the doorstep with a huge bouquet of red roses and chocolate-covered-strawberries. I’ll open the door, and be so shocked! I’d say, “So you think you can just buy me flowers and I’d forgive you?” and you’d get on your knees and beg me to take you back, or at least let you inside the house. Our house. Then I’d say, “Fine, but you have to leave after tea!” And you don’t. You just never leave. Ha ha–” your suddenly realise what you’re saying, though not enough to regret it. “– I know, it’s cliche, don’t tease me… But I knew you, Satoru. I knew it’d never happen; I knew that you were done with me for good.”
And after a full year, Satoru Gojo’s blueflame eyes wet again with the unbearable weight of the past.
“But if I knew that you’d come back like this–” you bury your head into Satoru’s unruly cloud of hair. His fingers grasp you tight into his embrace, shoulders heave with every sob that wrecks through his body. He can’t look you in the eye. How could he? He’s done so much wrong, so much that cannot be fixed, left so much unfinished. “–I’d have wanted you to stay away.”
“You gave me some of my best memories.” He weeps. Ghost tears fall that do not wet your bosom. “Some of my best days in life. I– I came back– I couldn’t–”
He chokes and waits for the uncontrollable hiccups to die down, a tic of his whenever he cries too hard. The first time it happened was when you pushed him down a slide he was a bit scared of, and he kept hiccuping and heaving until his distraught nanny took him to his pediatric doctor. He was 2 then. He would’ve been 29 now.
His voice steadies enough to talk, chest still shaking as he cries. He can’t help it. He’s given up trying to. “I don’t know much, but this much I can figure out. I’m done for, I’ve passed away. I’m sorry, my love, I tried not to, but I died. I’m sorry. It was a fight and I couldn’t win this time. Don’t worry, it’s over now, my students defeated the terrorist, everyone’s safe, you’re safe, love. Everything will go back to how it was–”
“–it won’t,” you cry. “Not without you.”
“There’s no point mourning the dead, I was loved enough in my life. I mean,” he finally has the courage to look at you, allowing a watery smile. There’s tears even in his teeth. “I got to be loved by you. What more can I ask? And that’s what I figured out, I think. Tell me, love, what do you see when you look at me? What am I wearing?”
“Huh? You look just like the day you left. 5 years ago.”
“Am I jacked like Musclemon?”
You can’t help but laugh. “No, silly, you look exactly like the day you left. Tall lean muscles, sure, but I won’t call you Musclemon. The chocolate bear hoodie you were wearing, grey sweatpants, the blindfold I gave you.”
The last one was specially hand-made by you. You had to call in a favour from your blacksmithing friends to create a light-weight lead composite shield, which you then tailored foam and padding to create the most opaque blindfold possible. To help him sleep better at night.
“That’s now how others see me.”
“Others can see you? Who's ‘others’?”
“No, no, not everyone. Just some people I couldn’t say goodbye to. Get closure properly, you know. As far as I can tell, it’s Suguru, Shoko, the children. They all saw me as how they remembered me.” He said. He’s always loved to explain, despite the fact that he’s crying right now. “I don’t know if this happens to everyone or just me, but at the time of death, your soul goes to wherever they find comfort. Mine was split into a few separate pieces, but those parts are done. I talked enough to everyone, bothered them till they told me to go, ha-ha… Suguru’s waiting for me to leave with him.”
“Suguru’s soul?”
“Yes.”
“Leave where? When?”
“I don’t mind, I’ll go wherever he takes me, I trust him. And I’ll go when you tell me to. When you’re done with me.” He whispers. Secrets beyond the grave that he entrusts with you. “But if you keep me with you, if you don’t tell me to leave, I never will. Not this time.”
You must be imagining it, but Satoru seems to get heavier, even though all he is is a ball of cloud. Almost like he was actually lying tangled with you. Must be your imagination.
Clearly, neither of you are doing very well, or at least well enough to trust your senses. Come tomorrow morning, the barriers will come up again, the awkwardness of proper social conduct seeping through with the sunlight, childish words will go unsaid.
“I loved you, Satoru. I love you.” It’s the truth, no point in hiding it. It’s destiny beyond himself that his soul came to you. “But more than that I miss you.”
Maybe if you prayed very, very hard, you could convince your author to write you a better story.
a/n: reader also sees gojo with the engagement band on his finger she just can't get herself to say it out loud
gojo sees himself as nothing eslse but two glowing blue eyes
geto saw gojo as the 17 year old student he left him as. just to clarify, gojo's soul was "split" or in better words, different versions of his souls talked to his loved ones after his death and those versions have found peace and moved on. since geto is the only one dead in that line-up, in a way, he's waited for a year for him to die and join him. geto was prepared to wait as long as he needed to (he hoped that it would be long). reader's version is the only one that's left unresolved. do you think gojo wants to be resolved/freed?

bethie omg🥺🥺🥺need to see dad Steve telling her she’s not weird and grandma is evil!!! love u
love you ♡ kisses before dinner mom!reader
Steve has lost his temper with you a few times and he's yelled, but each time he apologised afterward like the guilt was eating him alive, and he's never made you feel unsafe. He's the opposite of that, he's your sanctuary, and you wish you could be that for him now. Dove is crying and Bethie's hiding in the kitchen —you don't really have a choice but to let him recover by himself.
He stands in the middle of the living room with his hands over his face, just breathing. Beyond Dove's tears, a shocked silence has descended on the room. One minute Steve's mom was here, and mean, and the next she's being shouted at and forced out of the house. You weren't sure what was even said, but you caught the gist, and you don't regret his reaction or have any intentions of telling him off. It would've been nicer if he didn't blow up in front of the girls, but you can't always choose.
“What's wrong?” you ask Dove quietly, kneeling in front of her. She walks into your arms for a hug, but changes her mind and flops to the floors between your knees and the couch to cry there. “Dove?”
“Boppy,” she whines, putting her wet face on your legs.
“Boppy?” She wants her bottle. “Let's go make your boppy. Come on, come here.”
You help her up and she wraps her arms around your neck for immediate departure. You stop by Steve's side despite her grizzling and take his arm into your hand. He rubs his eyes.
“You okay?” you ask, a little worried he's going to snap at you too.
He drops his chin down, blinking at you. Dove cries and his head turns to her, a frown pulling at his lips. “I'm sorry,” he says.
“She just wants her bottle,” you assure him.
He turns on the spot to find Avery on the couch. “Honey, I'm sorry for yelling. Are you okay?”
“I'm fine, dad. You're not yelling at me. Are you?”
Steve pushes his sleeves up to his elbows and flattens his dishevelled hair. He looks nicer now he's not mad, handsomer, his pretty almond eyes wide and looking for forgiveness. “I really wasn't, did it feel like I was?” He puts his arms out and Avery bolts into them, giggling as Steve pulls her up into his arms for a dashing of heavy kisses along her hairline. “Your grandma, she makes me so mad–” He cuts off before he can rile himself up again. “Well. She left. I'm so sorry for yelling, honey.”
“It's okay,” Avery says, voice warm with love as she squeezes him close in a hug. He groans in pretend squashedness.
“Thank you.” He whips his head back. “Where's Beth?”
“She went to hide in the kitchen,” Avery whispers.
“Yeah? Do you want to come and make sure she's okay with me?”
You're headed to the kitchen for milk anyways. Together, the four of you make your way out of the chaos of the living room and into your kitchen. Beth is a bundle of blue loungewear under the table, her little face pressed to her knees, arms wrapped around them as she sniffs.
You feel a strange pain, then. It's more obvious to you why Steve started shouting as suddenly as he did, worse when Steve has crawled under the table to ask if she's okay, and her breath catches as she insists, “I'm not weird.”
“No,” he says softly, “you're not weird.”
“Because gran'ma–”
“You're not weird, honey, even if she said you are.”
“I eat the puffs… th'edges are sharp,” she says sadly.
“I know. I want you to eat them exactly how you want to. I don't care what grandma said, and I've told her she can't ever say it to you again.” You watch Steve from the corner of your vision as you fill a bottle for Dove one handed, patting her back as she whines. He takes both of Beth's hands into one of his, head ducked so as not to hit it on the table. “Beth, you're not weird, babe. And there's nothing wrong with being weird, but you're not weird. It's okay to eat stuff differently. I promise it's okay, just like how I eat crust on pizza first, yeah? That's not weird.”
“You're not even weird,” Avery says supportively.
“But–” Bethie frowns, tears in her eyes. “She said I was.”
“Grandma says lots of things that aren't true. I'm sorry, Beth.” Steve rubs the back of her hand. “Grandma used to say I was greedy, and that I was going to get fat. But I never did, and it wouldn't have mattered if I did, either, because there's nothing wrong with eating well. She makes you feel like being one way is a bad thing, but that's because she… I don't know, she just isn't as nice as she could be.”
“You're not greedy,” Bethie says.
“Well, not all the time,” he says.
“You're not greedy, dad!” Avery says. “You're just a growing boy!”
He laughs and squints at her. “I'm all done growing, babe, I'm a grown up. I haven't done any growing for, like, eight years.”
“That's true,” you say, adjusting the bottle in Dove's mouth, leaning against the counter to take her heavy weight better. “You're shrinking.”
He sends you a look that's practically a kiss. “I thought you liked my hunch back?”
Bethie laughs at his tone and shuffles out across the floor to hug his knees. He breathes a sigh of relief, dropping his face into the back of her head. “I'm sorry if you didn't like my yelling, Beth. Not nice of me.”
“But it was for me?” she asks.
“Sort of, sweetheart. A little bit for me, too.” He covers her back with his arms. She practically disappears. “I'll never let her say mean things about you.”
“Me neither!” Avery says.
Steve drags her into the cuddle puddle. “That's ‘cus you're the best big sister on the entire planet.”
“And dad's the best dad,” you butt in.
“Yeah,” Beth says, smiling as Avery wraps an arm around her waist. “Best dad ever that they made.”

To say you’d healed from the past was a lie, your scars remain as jagged and raw as they did in the beginning. Invisible to everyone else but you. Perhaps that’s why Larissa doesn’t seem to notice your clear discomfort around Marilyn. Now you are no fool, you know Larissa has been hurt before, her own father being the first to show her a cruel hands touch. But you knew your girlfriend had her aunt to fall back on. At least one person in her corner, she was wanted. And although you knew she deserved all the love in the world, the jealousy sat simmering underneath the layers and layers of masks you put on. Truthfully, you admire your lover, she’s so strong, kind hearted and intelligent. Everything you wanted to be but got told you would never be. The past, your past, would define you for the rest of your life. She was wanted, in Nevermore, by you and the students and her aunt.
You however were not. Your whole life was spent fighting for love and acceptance. Your own mother was disappointed the day you were born. Nothing but a reminder of your father, who mind you left as soon as he found out you were created. Disappointment. Right from the start. And she made sure to remind you ever since you could remember that it’s all you’d ever be. Growing up in a home with the absence of maternal love, and the basic necessities to survive made life more complicated for you. Yet you fail to see what Larissa sees. She sees you for who you are, your heart, mind and soul. The fact you are still fighting is a true testimony to your character. You have no one to thank but yourself for getting here. A lovely girlfriend, an education, a roof over your head and food on the table. Most importantly finally experiencing love. And yet you refuse to accept that you did that. You made it. All that noise from your long, onyx covered, twisted forest of a past are wrong. You made it.
You find it hard to understand why Larissa would choose you. All your life you’ve never been good enough, there’s always someone better, prettier, nicer, kinder and well rounded than you. And you know that. You’ve experienced and accepted that. Perhaps that is why jealousy cripples you. Terrified of losing the only good thing in your life. Her. The same gorgeous goddess who Marilyn is currently monopolising all her attention. Sure, it’s a work function so it’s completely normal for the principal to be the one everyone wants to see. You know that. Understand that even. But the irrational part of you wants to keep your golden girl to yourself. Safe. Yours. Yet you can’t. So you sit here nursing your first and only drink on the night, eyes stalking her every movement. Just incase.
You and Larissa talk in great depth about your feelings and how to best help you heal and grow while maintaining a healthy relationship for you both. Larissa loves how protective you are of her. It makes her feel safe and wanted but she wishes you didn’t feel so inferior to everyone. So much so she spends extra time to build you up, to reassure you of her feelings for you. And that works most of the time. Apart from tonight.
The second you catch the ginger teachers pale hand on Larissa’s shoulder somethings snaps inside your messy mind. The fact Larissa didn’t instantly remove herself for the situation only further fuelling your irrational fears. Larissa was comfortable. This other woman touching what you considered to be your person. Your lover. Yet you remain rooted to the spot, taking in every single second of the interaction on high alert. You watched the way Marilyn trailed her hands down your lovers arm as she laughed at something Larissa said. You couldn’t help but notice how her eyes lingered seconds too long when Larissa was sipping her wine, licking her lips or simply shifting her weight from one leg to the other. Marilyn was practically undressing her despite the fact you were right here. And that’s what caused you to stride over to Larissa with an unmatched bout of jealousy and fury. The two emotions crashing around you like tidal waves in a storm.
You immediately made sure to let your arms wrap around your lover. Obviously staking your claim to the other woman. “Who’s your friend darling?” You couldn’t help but borderline snarl the word friend, eyes flicking up to Marilyn’s. “Marilyn is teaching bounty for me this year my love. She’s just here to get to know the staff before she starts in the new school year” her words fell on deaf ears. “Well she’s certainly getting to know you very well” you quipped before completely ignoring the red head, “Larissa I feel rather unwell, I’ll head back to OUR room” you mumbled spinning the blonde in your arms to join your lips together. “Have a nice evening Marie” was all you offered before detangling yourself from Larissa, “don’t be too long baby.”
You knew it wouldn’t be long before Larissa made her way to you. You paced your shared bedroom trying to clear your head. You know Larissa’s yours. It’s clear. But the idea of someone taking something so precious from you just sends you into a blind rage of jealousy. Losing Larissa would kill you. And to Marilyn? No way in hell would you allow that to happen. Larissa deserves the world and Marilyn isn’t that.
“Darling?” Her voice guides you out of your own irrational thoughts with a practiced ease. “You remember me then?” You muttered taking in her stunning appearance once again that night. Suddenly what you need dawns on you. Her. “Sweetheart? You know I’m yours right? I was simply being friendly darling.” Friendly. “Marilyn sure looked like she wanted to be friendly with you when her hands were all over you.” The words hit Larissa like a wave of realisation. “I- my darling I only want you. Let me prove it to you?” Her whispered words echoed around your mind for a few seconds. Well what an offer that was. How could you refuse?
“Come be a good kitten and prove it then. Kneel and crawl to me” you demanded loving how her eyes darkened ever so slightly at the demand although her cheeks blushed a beautiful crimson colour. Seeing the principal bend to your will, on all fours crawling towards you with embarrassment clouding her features just set you off and when she held eye contact with you you couldn’t help but immediately free the faux cock you’d been packing all night. “Show daddy this is the only dick you need darling. Show me how much you want me.”
On instinct Larissa immediately took the head of your strap between her ruby lips, tongue swirling around the head with a practiced ease. Your hands immediately falling to her perfect up do. Pulling strands of hair as you forced yourself further down her throat until she released little gags of protests. “Dirty girl, you’re so good at this. Sweet little mouth just made to take me hmm” you mewled as the base of the strap rubbed against your clit with just the right amount of pressure. “Just imagine what Marilyn would think about seeing you on your knees for me like a common whore? The way you cry so prettily for daddy as I use your sweet mouth? Such a slut for me aren’t you baby?” To her credit, she tried to reassure that she is yours but it’s rather hard to do with your brutal thrusts and a mouthful of dick.
The moment you pulled out, Larissa greedily sucked in breaths of air. A slither of spit being the only connection between her and your cock. Doe eyes, on her knees, lipstick smeared and hair an absolute state, Larissa couldn’t look more beautiful if she tried. “Get on the bed and be ready for me slut” you practically grunted to the principal. Something about Larissa lying there completely bare was stunning. It didn’t take you long to bunch her dress up to her hips and rip the lace off her body finally exposing her soaked core to you. “Daddy” she whined feeling the intensity of your gaze. A simple plea that would’ve normally been enough to have you worshiping her like your own personal goddess. “Please what? Shall I go get Marilyn for you? Or shall i remind you that only I get to taste this pretty pussy.”
The moment you finally allow yourself to taste her is heavenly. Her little gasp of need and the way she practically melts on your tongue is divine. It doesn’t take you long to work her to the edge. Larissa loves to suck you off. It’s embarrassing and slightly humiliating to think of herself in such a position but god does she love it. The weight of you on her tongue, the way you lose control and thrust deeper and the way you eat her out after like a starved animal never fails. “Please daddy” she whimpers out causing you to scrape your teeth across her adorably swollen clit before pulling away from her cunt.
Her whimpers of disappointment as she takes in the sight of your lower face drenched in her slick only adds to her growing need. “Darling I-“ you cut off her pathetically needy words by taking a swipe of her slit with your index finger, “open slut” is all you offer before thrusting your finger into her awaiting mouth. The happy mewl she lets loose as her tongue swirls around your finger, tasting herself on you. “Please” Larissa sobs as you pull your finger back, “I just want you to fuck me daddy. Please! I’m yours. Only yours just please, please fuck me.”
“Nothing more than a desperate whore aren’t you? Imagine what everyone would say if they knew you begged for my cock like a bitch in heat? The all put together Larissa Weems is nothing but a desperate slut for me. No one else can fuck you the way I can. No one knows that you love to be ass up, face down as I pound your cunt” you teased happily manhandling the woman to be in the exact position you know she craves. “Fucking leaking all over the sheets. Good thing we both know that only I can give you what you need. Your mine aren’t you?” You let the head of the faux dick rub along her slit occasionally bumping her clit. The moment your hand roughly connects with the soft globe of her ass she immediately moans. “Filthy girl, tell me whose you are” you grunted fighting the urge to bury yourself in her awaiting core.
“Daddy’s! Yours just please fuck-“ she whimpered feeling the burn and stretch in some areas as you sunk into her pussy effortlessly. "You would look so good with my children baby” you grunted settling into a lethal pace, your fingers were gripping her hips so tightly there was a hundred percent guarantee of bruises remaining for days. Not that either of you minded. “Want daddy to finally breed her girl? Show everyone you’re mine by carrying my baby? Hmm? I’d fill you up so good darling every night until you finally grow round with our baby like a good little breeding bitch.”
The brutal sounds of skin slapping into one another accompanied by the most sinful sounds clawing their way from her throat was the only encouragement you needed. “Bet my dirty girl would love that. God baby you feel so good around me. This pretty pussy is just made to take me. God you take me so well” you granted with the force of your thrusts bringing a hand to her hair to pull her back to your chest. “Daddy oh fuck” she mewled, the change of position caused your dick to reach deeper than before, “please” she whined feeling the coil in her stomach tightening once more.
“Cum for me baby, show me how good only I can make you feel” you plead with her while letting her hair go and moving your hand to find her sensitive bundle of nerves to give her that last push over the edge. The way she cums for you, the noises she makes as you watch her ride each and every wave you provide is enough to send you hurtling over the edge as well. Slowing your thrusts down to drag out every inch of pleasure for you both as the woman underneath you is clearly spent. Her voice is hoarse from all the noise she made as she took everything you offered on a plate. With an ease only she could provide. Only Larissa could do this for you. To calm your irrational jealousy in the best ways. “mm stay” you heard her mumble into the pillows as her hand reached back for you. And you knew she craved the connection as much as you do. “I’m yours. I’m here baby” you whisper pressing sweet kisses onto her sweat covered neck.
Only when she was ready did you get the wet rag to clean her glistening folds gently murmuring praises to the overly sensitive woman. The switch from insanely jealous to caring and loving was instant for you. This woman was yours. But you also care for everything that’s yours so deeply that Larissa would get only the best aftercare from you. Your now quiet, stated mind allowing you to devote your full attention to the principal. You would die for this woman and she would die for you too. “Baby? what can I do for you?” Your whispered words caused her to smile slightly allowing you to adjust her to be lying comfortably on the bed. “Come here sweetheart, I just want to feel you” she murmured opening her arms for you to settle on her bare chest, her heart beating for you only being all could hear. Together as one the whole night seemed to blur together as you both drifted off into a peaceful slumber.
