The victim is... the same as yesterday?
Since Danny managed to master the power of duplication he noticed a couple of things: duplicates didn't always disappear when he wanted them to, it was possible to make many at once and he could change shapes when he used it. The duplicates also disappeared in ecto when destroyed.
So, when the halfa moved to a new location he decided it made the most sense to release "Human Danny's" over Gotham and stay as Phantom to look at his new home from the sky. He needed to investigate his new surroundings and probably find a better place to live.
This made the bats desperate, they had multiple alerts of "Multiple black-haired, blue-eyed boys wandering into dangerous territories" and "A meta flying around Gotham", Bruce doubted it was a coincidence, maybe the meta was a new villain.
In some cases they couldn't get there in time and the blue-eyed boy died mysteriously, since they didn't communicate with each other, they didn't know it was the same victim over and over again. Danny wasn't surprised when he felt one of his duplicates return to him. Of course, the halfa had no idea he was giving Red Robin traumas about a boy "vanishing on acid".
The batfamily, who remained without communication, thought that some villain was chasing down black-haired, blue-eyed people and killing them. Jason was the first to realize that it was the same boy and he frowned not understanding the situation. He found the meta and he was almost harmless, which didn't have sense.

DC X DP - Mirrors
Did Danny want to live in Gotham? No, of course not. Did he have a choice? Nope. When does he ever?
Now, he may be technically homeless, but he's also technically dead, so human laws technically don't apply to him. So, naturally, he pics out an empty mansion so big even if the owners were to come home, the chances they'd run into each other would be really low, and settles in.
This 'mansion' happens to be Drake Manor. Look, Danny lived in nowhere Illinois and kinda had his hands full dealing with ghosts, a double life, bullies, and being actively hunted. He doesn’t know much about celebrities. If you tell him the name of someone super famous, it might sound vaguely familiar, but that's about it. What he knew was superheroes and vigilantes (some of them, okay, give him a break). That's about it.
So the name Drake in connection with Gotham didn't ring any alarm bells. He did some surface level research: the Drakes are dead, survived by their only child, Timothy Drake-Wayne, who now owns their house but was adopted by some other super rich guy called Bruce Wayne and doesn't live in it, leaving it empty for the foreseeable future.
It was the perfect place!
Danny didn't explore much, partly because he didn't care to and partly because he was too tired to from healing. He cleaned up after himself, used only his bedroom (chosen for being tucked way back and out of the way), the attached bathroom, and the theatre occasionally as a treat. He lived off of the provisions packed for him, ectoplasm and water from the sink.
Cut to, few weeks in.
Danny's got a new routine, he's taken his stitches out, and is still super fucked up, but a lot better than when he arrived. He hasn't been outside since he arrived, but ghosts don't need Vitamin D anyway. Is he slightly depressed? Maybe. But he's also dead, so, bigger priorities.
Tim is looking through his stuff for something or other, and it occurs to him he probably left it next door. He hasn't been to Drake Manor in months, but he sort of really needs this thing, so he sucks it up and borrows a car because like hell is he walking the several miles from this front door to that one.
He goes to his old bedroom, opens the door, and comes face-to-face with himself.
And Danny doesn't know what he's supposed to do in this situation.
Listen, Danny doesn't always make the best decision in the moment. It's a very normal flaw to have! So he tells who can only be Timothy Drake-Wayne himself when asked, that his name is Timothy Drake, and this is his house, and, actually, who are you and how did you get in?
This causes Tim to assume Danny is himself from another dimension who he accidentally dragged to his dimension by messing with the Time Stream to get Bruce back. Danny continues to accidently fuel this misunderstanding without meaning to.
(This is not helped by the fact that a DNA test doesn't disprove this. Danny's DNA is corrupted, but what Tim does get is identical to himself. This is how Danny finds out he was adopted, and how Tim, much later when misunderstandings are cleared, meets the identical twin brother he never knew he had.)

The Ice Prince
(I am not the best writer But I’m doing my best)
the nuke that the GIW had created, was devastating and catastrophic, destroying Danny’s entire home universe with only a few survivors and unfortunately none of them were human only the halfas had survived.
And the blast had even reached the infinite realm, but the ghost King Phantom/Danny had used his own power to stop  it from causing any devastation to the realms but in return he was weaken and badly injured, every ghost was terrified of what would happen to the king but clockwork had a solution, he used his powers to de-age Danny down to maybe a month old so that his body would have enough power to keep him alive in a  smaller form. Every ghost was terrified for the safety and well-being of  their king especially considering he was not fully ghost so they knew he couldn’t stay in the ghost zone for long especially now, so while clockwork and the  yetis was looking for a dimension for Danny to stay in Vlad, Dan and Dani as his only remaining family were making preparations for his new living circumstances, preparing caretakers creating a layout for his new home and even picking out and having toys and clothing created.
Clockwork in the end with the help of the yetis end up successfully finding a dimension that will both meet Danny’s ghost needs and human needs perfectly and with the designs provided by Danny’s family, they started creating a beautiful ice castle for him, and once it was finished it was transported to the dimension in the Arctic.
_________________________________________________
Meanwhile at the watchtower the alarm started going off alerting the justice league on a unknown entity/entities in the Arctic near the fortress of solitude, alarmed supermen wants to immediately go to the Arctic but Batman refuses him to go alone offering to go with him.
Once they reached the fortress of solitude, they do not notice anything out of the ordinary, but as they search, they find a small Castle not too far away in the crevice of a cave, Superman at first tried to use his x-ray vision to see you what or who was inside but something was preventing him from doing that so both determined to figure out if the beings inside are a threat they enter the castle.
As they explore Batman and Superman come across many different rooms, first they find a kitchen, then they find the storage room, a living room, and a few more before they hear footsteps, they decided to hide in the closet nearby and what they see is a bunch of living ice statues walking past them with trays blankets and many other things, they decide to go in the direction opposite to that of the living ice statues.
They eventually come across a large room with two green-skinned humanoid creatures with dragon-like features inside, the two creatures were looking down at something that neither Superman and Batman could see what it was, after a few minutes, one of the Dragon like creatures turned off the lights and unfolded there large wings, gave a few flaps and flew out alongside their companion out of a large window.
Once Batman and Superman were sure the Dragon like creatures were gone, they entered the room, and, Batman would be looking around while Superman would look for the light switch, and once he did what they found was confusing, the largest room in this building was a nursery with a  crib in the middle with a space theme mobile above it, and they both would be confused why the largest room in this building was a nursery, they would then approached the crib to find a baby more shockingly a human baby by its appearance,   Black hair with the faintest of freckles across his face accompanied by his light skin that could mistake him as dead, wrapped in the finest silk blanket they have ever seen  while wearing some sort of Greek clothing.
Batman terrified that the child might be dead turns to Superman to silently ask whether the child has a heartbeat or not. Superman would take a moment to listen and would then inform Batman that the child does have a heartbeat and unnaturally slow one but a heartbeat, nonetheless.
While Batman’s trying to figure out what the situation is, Superman is fearing that the child was kidnapped, he would pick up the baby wanting to take him back to the watchtower to have a proper checkup done on the child, when Superman told Batman that he wants to take  the baby back to the watchtower for a proper checkup Batman would counter saying that the  Dragon like creatures are probably his parents, before Superman can protest they hear the Dragon like creatures returning, and in panic they both flee and Superman not realizing that he still has the baby in his arms carries the baby away from the castle.
Somehow neither Batman or Superman realized that Superman had the baby until they reached the JL base, and once they do realize Batman start scolding Superman for stealing a child especially from a species that they aren’t fully aware of or know anything about. Superman counters that the child had no features from either of the possible parents and could be an infant that the two Dragon-like people stole from Earth so that they could playhouse.
While the entire Justice league is split on siding with either Superman or Batman who are both giving valid reasons for why their point of view is correct, the Green Lanterns are trying to find the origin of the Dragon-like people or more specifically where they are from.
As they argued the volume continued to increase eventually resulting in the child waking up still cradled in Superman’s arms. The most beautiful pair of blue eyes like ice shards reflecting the beauty of the sky looked up at them and as the infant yawned it gave a cute grumpy little face indicating that he was upset that they interrupted his nap time.
Once everyone noticed the baby was awake, they started cooing and absolutely adoring the baby and the flash that was literally vibrating from excitement would run up to the baby so he can hold the infant, but the moment Danny spotted the slightest amount of electricity coming from the flash he immediately started crying and wailing.
The cry was loud, not loud enough to destroy the JL base but loud enough that anyone with enhance hearing had to cover their ears to try and avoid going def, Batman then immediately grabs the child from Superman and thanks to his years of experience with helping calm down small children and infants he calms the baby down, which is a relief to everyone.
After Batman managed to calm down the baby until he was only slightly whimpering, a very pale and panic Constantine,Dr. fate and  zattana burst into the room, as they entered they started searching and scouring each nook and cranny of the room until their eyes landed on the whimpering child still in batman’s arms, Constantine immediately goes even paler something no one knew could happen and in his frazzled state he would scream demanding to know why there was a child of the infinite realms in batman’s arms. but nobody knows what the infinite realms are so while Constantine was drowning in his own panic, Dr. fate and zattana would explain to everyone what the infinite realms are, and Batman would explain the situation back telling them how Superman had taken the baby from an ice castle near the fortress of solitude.
Superman realizing his mistake offers to take the child back immediately but before he could the alarms at the base started to go off again, cyborg who was the closest immediately started typing across the computer in order to see if there was any world ending threat but what they see made all the magic users take a double take on what they were seeing.
A man with a blue skin tone whose hair is unbound by gravity and behaves like fire and blood red eyes alongside two more people, one of them who looks like a vampire who also has a bluish skin tone and the other one looks like a female version of the first one but younger and also with green eyes and a more humanoid skin tone.
Zattana would then stutter out loud and ask herself why on earth King Phantom is destroying government facilities alongside the Count Masters as well as Princess Spector, of the Infinite Realms. she would also ask herself why they were specifically targeting government facilities.
But then a giggle along with some clapping of tiny hands would catch their attention as they turn around to see the baby still in Batman’s hands happily giggling and clapping their hands as they started grabbing out towards the screen specifically towards the three people on the screen.
Constantine would look at the screen and then at the child  and he would see similarities between King Phantom and the child, the dots will then connect in his head and he would start having a strata panic attack and before anyone could realize what was going on Constantine would scream at Superman telling him that he just kidnapped the son of the king of the infinite realms.
________________________________________________
Dan, Vlad and Dani were all frantically searching for Danny since he randomly disappeared from the ice castle and due to past experiences, all three of them thought it was some form of government who took him so they immediately start destroying every government facility they could find so that they could find Danny.
They had gotten through 15 government facilities with no luck of finding Danny, until they were approached by three weirdly dressed individuals who addressed dan as King Phantom Dan was obviously confused at first and so was Vlad and Dani but Dan eventually realize that they probably think that he is Danny because of their similarities and the fact that no one knows that Danny is now in infant, Dan thinking that it would be funny decided to play along and he used his core to communicate with Vlad and Dani.
Funny, play along, funny, help find Danny,
Dan would then float over to the three weirdly dressed individuals and ask them what they want because he’s kind of busy,
The very strong looking woman would bow down to him and ask him if he is looking for his child.
Dan then applies himself properly telling them that he is indeed looking for his child and if they try and stop him, he won’t hold back.
The strong looking woman then introduces herself as Diana/wonder woman and reassures Dan that they are not here to stand in his way, she instead tells him that she actually knows where his child is.
Dan raises an eyebrow, and addresses wonder woman telling her to describe the child, so he makes sure that they are talking about the right kid.
Wonder woman would then talk describing Danny, black hair, blue eyes, pale skin with freckles and she would even mention the unbelievable loud cry that left many members of the JL disorientated.
Dan realizing that they actually have Danny and would ask her who they are and why they have Danny, wonder woman seeing the rage billed in his eyes would invite him back to the watchtower so he could retrieve his child and that they can explain the situation to him, dan agrees.
As they were going up to the watchtower dan, Vlad and Dani would speak in ghost dialect to each other.
Dan: so, these people think I am phantom, and I think we should keep up the act because it’s safer for Danny if they believe I am him and that he is my son.
Dani: that makes sense but what am I then?
Dan: while we don’t have to change the fact that you are his sister so just continue just pretend to be his older sister.
Dani: ok :D
Vlad: what about me?
Dan: I don’t know old man pretend to be his grandfather.
Vlad: ok :/
once they reached the main room of the watchtower, Dani immediately zooms into the room right in front of batman politely asking him if she can have her little brother, batman who had gotten Danny to fall asleep again would then give the baby to her.
She would then float over to Dan and gives Danny to him, Dan and Vlad then look over Danny to make sure he has no injuries and then Dan would address the group asking them what happened and why his son was here, Batman would then explained that they got an alert about something near the fortress of solitude and that alert would be the castle where they found the baby and Superman thought it was a human child that was stolen so he ended up accidentally kidnapping the baby.
Dan would have given Danny to Vlad as he uses  his fingers to rub his nose in annoyance before giving a sigh of relief thanking the ancients that it wasn’t some government facility that kidnapped him wanting to experiment on him, the justice league especially the magic users would get very concerned by the comment and dani realizing that they might be confused, would explain that in another world a government facility had labelled all beings from the infinite realms as not sentient  and started kidnapping and experimenting on them, but that universe no longer existed mainly due to the idiotic actions of the government facility blowing up their own universe.
Dan would then turn to Vlad and tell him that they’re going to need to move the castle and maybe add a bit more security, Superman would then speak up saying that they could keep the castle where it is and they will make sure no one will go near it without authorization.
Dan would look at Superman and nod his head, but would still remarking to Vlad that they still need to increase the security since no one should be able to get near his little sunshine (he holds back the need to throw up after saying that), batman  would look at Dan wanting to ask questions but even he knew now was not the best time also he could feel someone staring daggers into the back of his neck something that didn’t bother him nor cared about but he didn’t want to give Constantine a heart attack not yet at least.
Dan would then open a portal directly to the ice castle and would give his farewells to the Justice league as he went through Vlad with Danny in his arms following close behind and dani  just after them and once the portal closed all the magic users in the room gave a sigh of relief along with a few of the other heroes who based on Constantine’s reaction understood the severity of the situation
And in the meantime, Dan, Vlad and Dani would be settling Danny back in his room and would be arranging more security and more caretakers since they do not want another situation like this.

Survivability Bias Pt 1
Masterpost - Ao3
Danny stares at the screen in front of him. The fact that he’s in a library is the only reason he’s not squealing at the clearly well-maintained website he’s currently exploring. As it turns out, this dimension does have NASA. That fact on its own isn’t too terribly surprising, considering all the other ways it’s similar to Danny’s home. What is surprising (and, in no small part, exciting!), is that in this dimension NASA seems to have much better funding. Danny had managed to resist looking up anything related to space for the first hour of his time in the library, but then Danny had chanced across an article about the ISS, and his resolve had crumbled. Not even fifteen minutes later, and Danny is here, exploring the very nice NASA website. Plumbing its depths, really, for all the information it can provide on what space is like in this world. There’s lots of new information; space research is definitely more advanced here than it was back home, and there’s occasional vague allusions to odd things like the livability of Mars, and other oddities, it’s almost like this dimension has come to the forgone conclusion that aliens must exist. Which is certainly an exciting thought, but it also seems odd to Danny. What divergent experiences lead to such a conclusion Danny wonders, as he absently hovers over the opportunities tab for the fifth time. He knows he really shouldn’t get his hopes up, but with a more funded NASA, maybe he could find a way to get a job there eventually. After all he has no real idea when, or even if, he’ll ever manage to go home, so maybe it’s okay to think about the future a little bit.
Maybe they’ve already come into contact with aliens, Danny thinks. Maybe I could get a job working with aliens! It’s that thought that gets him to actually click the tab, desperate to know if that’s even a possibility. The page that opens doesn’t really list specific jobs or anything. Mostly, it seems to just be advertising that NASA is always looking for smart people that are passionate about space (Danny’s definitely one of those things, at least). But there is an interesting little banner advertising a special summer camp for aspiring astronomers, ages 14-18. The idea of that is both surprising and exciting. Danny doesn’t think his home world’s NASA had anything like that. Sam had sent him through with some money, but he’s still unsure if it’ll even work here, and he’s also not sure he wants to risk getting in trouble if it’s just a really close match. Plus it’s definitely not enough to afford the inevitable cost of a whole entire space camp. Danny remembers going to summer camps a couple times as a kid and he knows they weren’t cheap. Still, Danny remembers that Sam had also given him a few pieces of really nice jewelry that he could pawn off for cash, and maybe that could let him afford it?.
It would be so much easier if Danny had a social security number. Or, like, literally anything proving that he really does exist. But, well, technically he doesn’t exist here. Obviously, physically he is here, but he certainly wasn’t born here. He’s basically an undocumented immigrant, just from a place that he literally can’t ever physically go back to. Even the computer he’s using right now highlights just how alien this place is to him, with its large, flat screen and graphics better than anything he’s ever seen in his life. It runs so smoothly, too, that he just knows Tucker would cry if he could see it. And this is what they have in a library. Danny can’t even begin to imagine what high end tech here might look like.
Everything here is strange and new, and Danny doesn’t even really know what he needs to catch up on. He wishes he could have stayed. He had wanted to stay. Of course he had. But after the second time the Guys in White managed to capture him, well, it wasn’t hard to see why they wanted him gone. So when Sam and Tucker and Jazz had cornered him, and explained that they’d found a way to send him away, to somewhere that the GIW couldn’t follow, he hadn’t argued. He hadn’t argued when they dragged him down to the lab, and he hadn’t argued when Jazz shoved a backpack into his hands, and he hadn’t argued when Sam had told him that she’d added cash and jewelry to what Jazz had gathered. He hadn’t argued as Tucker had messed with the portal, and he hadn’t argued when they pushed him towards it.
He can’t go home. Maybe just for a while, but maybe not ever again. He can’t see his friends, and he can’t go to sleep in his own bed, and he can’t come home from school and play Doomed with Sam and Tucker. But maybe all that wouldn’t be so terribly painful, if he could just have one little thing here that he couldn’t have done back home. Danny knows it’s a long shot, but he clicks on the banner, just to see.
The first thing he notices as he reads through the description, is that it offers a lot. Eight weeks, overnight in a specialized science camp facility, an opportunity to experience both a shuttle launch simulation and a zero gravity simulator? The opportunity to experience multiple different kinds of jobs? This isn’t some camp that wants to introduce kids to the idea of astronomy, this is designed for kids who already want to be astronomers. All in all, it’s everything Danny could have imagined and more. It’s not exactly cheap, though. Five thousand dollars isn’t exactly affordable when all you have is some cash that may or not work, and a few necklaces, fancy as they may be. After all, it’s not like Danny knows enough about jewelry to have even a hope of not being ripped off.
At the bottom of the description, there is mention of scholarships, though, and maybe if he angles it right, he can manage to make use of one of those? Danny glances through the list. He doubts he can prove himself worth the aptitude scholarship. His grades weren’t exactly good back home, even if he did have his transcripts. And he’s hardly going to get the financial hardship scholarship if he’s got no proof that he even exists here. One of the scholarships catches his eye, though, specifically because he has no idea what it’s for.
Danny knows the word meta. It’s like self-referential shit or something. But it’s not exactly a scientific thing. That’s language arts stuff, the kind of thing Mr. Lancer goes on about, and there should be no reason for it to be a kind of scholarship. But maybe it’s an acronym or something? Danny mouses over, and clicks through to see what exactly it is, even if it probably won’t be relevant to him.
“Here at NASA we understand that people don’t always fit our standard expectations of normality!” The meta scholarship page reads. Danny tries not to let his hackles go up at the mention of normality. They can’t possibly be talking about people like him, after all. Nothing he’s seen so far has implied that ghosts have any sort of presence here. “In our efforts to expand our understanding of the infinite expanse of space, it only makes sense to do our best to work with those who do not conform to those expectations, especially when those exceptions often represent unique opportunities for possible field work. If you identify as a meta, and believe your talents make you uniquely suited to extreme environments, we welcome you to apply for our full-expense meta scholarship!*”
The introductory paragraph only leaves Danny more confused, and a bit wary. The references to normality and unique opportunities for field work have bile rising into Danny’s throat, and he shakily opens a new tab, and types the word meta into the search bar. If they’re experimenting on people here too-
The search returns an astonishing number of results. Among the first ones are a wikipedia article on metas, and so many news articles. Danny clicks on the wikipedia page first.
“Metas refers to an individual who possesses meta powers. Derived from the prefix “meta-”, meaning beyond or transcending, meta powers are innately defined by the natural capabilities of the general population. Thus, on Earth, the term meta, or metahuman, typically refers to anyone who has abilities beyond the standard human experience. A significant portion of metas can be attributed to the human metagene,  which typically triggers in moments of intense physical or mental stress, and can produce unique situational abilities. Other metas, may belong to other species who naturally have certain abilities, or to individuals who are granted powers by various deific forces or even objects.”
What.
It can’t possibly be that easy. This world can’t possibly be that perfect. Danny keeps reading. He realizes as he continues that this article is long, with literally dozens of subsections. On top of that, as he begins to read, there are references to numerous other events, and topics that he’s never heard of before. And by the time the librarian arrives to usher him out of the library for the night, he still isn’t finished with it, but he has learned quite a bit.
Apparently, it isn’t exactly as perfect as it sounded. Rather, this dimension has a long history of meta-related conflict. There’s been plenty of discrimination and mistreatment in the past; the kind of thing that Danny is more than familiar with. But on top of that, there’s literal, actual superheroes here. A lot of them. Superheroes that have fought against numerous world-ending threats and won. And those same superheroes have worked with the world governments, and ratified the protection of metas’ rights as being fundamental human rights. If Wikipedia is to be believed, Danny really is safe.
Still, Danny knows first-hand the way that governments can and will lie. And just because the internet claims that these so-called metas are treated fairly, doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s true.
Propaganda, Danny thinks. Who’s to say it isn’t all just propaganda? I need to be more careful about transforming tonight.
But the library does need to close, so Danny heads out into the second night in his new hometown, mind racing as he thinks about the implications of everything he’s read. The space camp seems so far away now, in the aftermath of the following revelations. Danny needs to get further from civilization if he wants to transform tonight. He follows the main street out, away from town. Maybe in a field somewhere, he’ll be okay? This doesn’t exactly seem like a large town. Even if it’s not true, Danny thinks as he walks. At least I’m not alone here. And I didn’t see anything about Anti-Ecto Acts.

@puppetmaster13u You called Danny a space whale in the tags of one of this post.
Now what if that was literal?
Hear me out, Danny outlives his friends, parents, sister. Danny becomes a literal whale.
Well, not a literal one because he's a ghost, but he takes the shape one of at the very least. He's just a giant, glowing white whale that looks pretty divine not going to lie.
Danny leaves earth. It wasn't safe for him anymore, what with the GIW and all that as even the ghosts found it not even worth anymore to visit the mortal world.
Except for Desiree and Spectra, but that's besides the point.
But Danny doesn't retreat to the zone, he's always longed for space, but because of his new half humanness he doesn't get believe he could've ever gone because, well. Yea.
But Danny goes fuck it and goes anyway. His form shifts from human to that of a giant whale, and he swims out into the vastness of space.
Years pass, and Danny does start getting bigger as he aged. He explored the vastness of space, marveling at many things, the different planets, the stars, the formations of rock and other things.
Then he encounters someone he never though he would've.
Vlad.
Well, he knew Vlad was left behind in space by his father but he didn't think he would find him again and Vlad seemed... different, from what he remembered.
For one thing, he didn't even know where Vlad began and space ended. He got only see those red eyes that even hinted at it being the man. His body was void black and filled with stars upon stars, all glittering from his body and Vlad barely even seemed to notice him, or if he did, he didn't seem to care at all.
So, Danny took him.
He was both curious and felt a bit bad about what happened to Vlad, even if he didn't know exactly what happened, and he couldn't just leave him there either.
So on his back Vlad went, and his travels continued.
It seemed to be the correct decision, really, because slowly overtime Vlad seemed to be regaining his awareness. Then slowly, tentatively, started to speak with him through ghost speak.
Vlad only seemed to vaguely remember what he was before space. He remembered hating a man, loving a woman, wanting a son, loneliness and a boy with white hair and toxic green eyes.
Even though Vlad was his former enemy, his nemesis, and someone who took the world hostage.
He couldn't help but feel pity for him.
Then their travels continued.
Years pass unnoticed, when in space, with Danny slowly getting bigger and bigger as the two travel throughout. They've come into contact with various civilizations, some hostile, some peaceful, some neutral.
The hostile ones never lasted long, even if Danny never lifted a flipper to do anything most of the time, Vlad made sure of it.
They came at went as they pleased, and Danny believes that they've gained a bit of a reputations over their adventures, but neither he nor Vlad knew exactly what they said. It did prove useful in some cases, however.
A few more years, and Danny feels that this system is vaguely familiar. Which happens sometimes, considering he's been travelling for so long. He then finds out why it was so familiar.
He came across Earth and, oh. When was the Earth so small?
Well, not small really, but when was he just only a bit smaller than it?
Did it shrink when he was away? Or did he just grow?
That doesn't matter though. What does, is the fact that currently seemed to be an invasion going on, on his home planet thank you very much. He did not like the fact that there was a massive fleet parked right outside his home.
So he spoke to Vlad, expressed his displeasure, Vlad responded back knowingly and went off to make the source of his displeasure disappear. That doesn't Danny was idle either, the fleet was big and, well.
It's been a while since he's stretched himself in a fight.

Younger Years Pt. 6
Masterlist
Summary: Damian gets temp de-aged to 6yrs old; cue him asking where his twin is. This is how everyone finds out about Danny's existence. Word Count: 2162
Danyal keeps to the shadows as he enters the town. He doesn't know where he is or if anyone that could recognize him is here. The last thing he needs right now is for Grandfather to know his location; or Damian. Which is not a thought he would ever think of. While the two of them certainly had their differences, Danyal never thought they would end like this. He should have though he realizes; their story was only ever going to end with a tragedy.
Grand- Ra's has made his displeasure of Danyal known for quite some time now so it shouldn't have surprised him as much as it did when he and Damian were forced to fight. What was surprising though is just how easily his brother accepted it.
Was he not worth fighting for?
He was prepared to stand against Ra's with Damian at his side knowing full well that it wouldn't have ended favorably for them. It seems his brother didn't feel the same way though.
Damian and him weren't brothers anymore though were they? He wasn't an al Ghul after all. Danyal al Ghul is dead from this point forward; he's just Danyal right now.
As the sun begins to set lower and lower it makes Danyal feel more comfortable with exploring the town's streets more in depth. The first thing he needs to do is find a place he'll be able to safely lay low for the night. If he can do that then he'll be able to sit and think more clearly about what his plan for the future is.
What Danyal doesn't expect though is that while making his way through an alley he would have a run in with a girl with bright orange hair who looked to be a couple years older than him. While his first instinct is to immediately eliminate this unknown threat he decides to instead push that feeling down when he realizes that this girl would stand no chance against him in a fight.
He's not going to let Ra's training control his life anymore; not everything needs to end with spilt blood. So against everything he's ever been taught Danyal runs, or attempts to at the very least.
The girl on the other hand decides to chase after him instead of simply letting him melt into the night.
"Hey! Hey wait!" She calls out after him.
Best to get this situation over with now. Danyal abruptly stops and turns to the girl, "What do you want?"
"Are you ok? Do you need help?"
Which is honestly a fair question honestly now that he thinks about it. He is, after all, still mildly damp, his shirt is torn with blood stains, and overall Danyal would say he looks similar to that of a stray cat. "I'm fine. Leave me alone, and go back to wherever it is that you need to be."
"You look hurt though. I can bring you some bandages, or water!" It's obvious that she's not going to simply let this go anytime soon, After a few moments of silence though she hesitantly offers her name. "I'm Jazz, what's your name?"
"Danyal." He finally answers after a few seconds.
"Daniel?"
"…Yes" Everything about his old life is gone from this point forward. Might as well start with a new name. They sound similar enough anyway it won't be a difficult transition to make for himself.
It doesn't take a lot after that for Jazz to convince him to accompany her back to her home. To this day he'll blame it on the exhaustion he was feeling. At the same time though he knows he made the best decision he could have going with his, now, sister. He doesn't know what his life would be like right now if Jazz hadn't followed after him and-
"-ny! Danny!" Snapping back into reality he sees both Sam and Tucker looking at him questionably.
"Yeah, um yeah! I'm sorry, what were you saying Sam?"
"I was asking what your thoughts on the new planetarium Wayne Enterprises just opened are. It was apparently something Damian Wayne himself advocated for. Maybe we'll have to plan a group trip to Gotham to check the place out." Sam repeats herself with a dramatic eye roll before her face softens out with a more gentle tone in her voice. "It might be good for you to get away for a bit, away from your parents."
When it's clear Danny doesn't show any sign of answering right away Tucker takes the moment to try and lighten the mood, "It seems even your celebrity look-a-like is interested in space!"
Damian was never interested in space that Danny knew for a fact based on how many times he would have to beg his brother to go and watch the stars with him. His twin always did it though, no matter how much of a fuss he put up Damian would join, and listen to him explain the stars.
"Maybe you're right Sam," He can't help, but let out an exhausted sigh, "Maybe getting away will help them come to terms with everything. I think we should avoid Gotham though; that's basically me asking for trouble. I hear Central City is pretty this time of year though."
Danny knows that his friends will assume that avoiding Gotham will be about not wanting to get involved with any hero/villain problems, but really it's so that he doesn't have to worry about running into any of the Wayne's, specifically Damian. He'd sworn off the city entirely when he first learned about his brother's dramatic arrival. Danny has long accepted that this would mean never meeting his father.
“How- how are they doing now? Do you need to stay here again tonight?” Tucker hesitantly asks. It seems like all their conversations eventually lead them to the topic of his parents nowadays.
“Thanks man, but no. I’m going to be going back tonight. Everyone in the house has been avoiding the topic, and staying away isn’t going to help fix anything either.” It wasn’t easy being in that house though. It’s tense everytime he interacts with his parents. The looks they always give him, as if he’s just some stranger living in their home now.
At the same time though he can tell that they want to understand, to learn. They haven’t gone hunting since they found out, and removed any kind of weapon from the house; securing them up tightly down in the lab.
Danny doesn’t quite fault his parents for how they're acting right now. Years and years of research only to learn that everything they have built their lives on is a lie. At the same time though he hoped that all of this could have been a much easier situation for everyone.
“Before we can plan any summer trip away though we need to figure out a way to deal with the GIW. They’ve been much more active lately, and I’ve seen more and more trucks leaving Amity this past week.” Danny needed to talk about anything other than his parents right now.
“You think they’re setting up shop somewhere else now?” Tucker questions, already pulling out his laptop.
“Where would they even move to? They’re already in the most haunted city in America.” Sam gives Tucker a slight nudge, “Mind looking up the second most haunted city?”
"New Orleans."
"Yeah, that tracks." Sam peers over Tucker's shoulder to look at his screen, "Think you can finally hack your way into their systems?"
"You're only talking to the second greatest hacker," He cracks his knuckles before beginning to type, "I'll have us inside in a matter of minutes, and with what Technus and I have been doing lately they won't have any clue we were even there to begin with."
Despite already knowing what his friend is going to say he still asks, "Second? Who's the first then?”
"If you don't know Danny then I haven't been talking about them enough. Don't worry though I already have a presentation I can show you about why Oracle is the greatest hacker."
"Nope, I'm good."
"That's what I thought next time don't-" Tucker cuts himself off as he shouts, "I'm in!"
Immediately, both Sam and him are moving to see the screen. "Search for anything that talks about moving or new locations."
"Really think it's gonna be that easy?" Sam asks, "That obviously marked down for anyone to find?"
"If their filing system is anything like my parents, then yes."
She seems to be thinking about it for a moment before nodding to herself, "That's fair."
"Got a match with 'new location'. Anyone want to place a bet on where they're going before I open it up?" Tucker grins as his finger hovers over the search hit.
"Hopefully somewhere cool since Danny is definitely going to drag us there to check the place out."
"Well you're free to stay behind and miss out on all the fun then, Sam." He laughs at the playful glare she shoots at him, "Open it up Tucker! Let's find out where these guys are going."
With one click a file was opened and right there at the very top it read: Protocols for new location — Gotham.
The world really does hate him, Danny thinks to himself. Of all the places the GIW could have picked they just had to pick the one place he desperately wanted to avoid. It was already going to be hard enough staying off the GIW's radar, and now he'll have to plan to stay off the bats' as well. Which Danny was already admitting to himself was a plan doomed to fail from the start.
He needs to stop the GIW though, "Does it mention anything about what they’re wanting to do there?"
Tucker nods and points to a specific area to screen, "It seems like they’re looking for something called a revenant that’s been detected in the area. They mention it several times throughout all this. Priority number one it’s been listed as."
"Revenant?" Sam asks.
"A person who has returned from the dead." Danny answers her, "Good to know that all those books Clockwork had me read are actually helpful."
"And this is different from what you are, how?"
"I'm both alive and dead right now, this revenant died and is now alive again. They don't quite have a full core though — more of a baby core — which I guess is enough for the GIW to want to capture them." It seems not even being completely alive again is enough to keep the GIW away.Danny can't help but think about how many people they must have taken.
As if sensing his thoughts Tucker turns from the screen, and places a hand on Danny's shoulder, "Are you sure you want to get involved with whatever they’re doing in Gotham?"
"I- I need to at least warn whoever this revenant that they're being hunted. To give them information about who is after them. I would have given anything to have a friendly stranger answer all my questions." He admits.
"Seems like we'll be going to that planetarium after all then, huh?"
Danny is honestly a little shocked at the laugh that creeps out of him, "I guess we will won't we? Might as well see the sites while we're there."
"Oh! Maybe you'll run into your doppelganger too!" Tucker exclaims, "I'd love to see just how similar you two are in person."
"I hope not, it's bad luck after all to meet your own doppelganger. Combine that with my Fenton luck, and you can bet on it that if I see Damian Wayne I'm running in the opposite direction. I don't need that in my life right now." Danny assumes that his friends think that he's joking, but if he does run into his twin he's booking it.
It doesn't take them long after that to get a semi figured out plan sorted. They have a vague idea of where to find the revenant due to the file, mostly likely to be found in a place called Crime Alley. How they're going to find their mystery person he doesn't know, but Danny is hoping that dead recognizes dead will handle that part.
The hardest part of all this is getting their parents' permission. It's a bit of a back and forth with getting Tucker and Sam's parents to agree to their impromptu travel plans, but they agree in the end.
Danny on the other hand hesitates over contacting his own parents, and so he doesn't. He sends a text to Jazz to let her know the full situation around why he's going to be spending some time in Gotham. With how little his parents and him are interacting they might not even know he was even gone in the first place.
With the soonest flight booked the trio this time tomorrow afternoon are boarding the plane to Gotham.

I have been madly inspired by this post, but I don't have time to write it. Instead, you get a prompt!
Tim and Danny are twins, just as in the inspo prompt. Except, instead of being from the DC Universe, they're both from the Danny Phantom Universe.
The timelines both continue as normal up until just after Dick becomes Robin (DC) and the Portal Accident (DP).
Instead of Sam and Tucker (or maybe you want them there? Idk. In my head, they aren't here) who're with Danny when the portal opens, it's Tim. They'd decided to try and help their parents as best they could (because this is a family of geniuses, guys!). Tim was working outside in the lab while Danny went in to see if anything's wrong in there, the accident happens as canon.
Now that the portal's open, Danny goes out as Phantom while Tim works as his support. (Neither tell Jazz or anyone because they're both allergic to help) Some way or another, Tim gets lost in the Ghost Zone and ends up in the DC Universe, wandering the streets of Gotham.
Jack and Janet Drake had decided to follow Brucie Wayne's lead and adopt a not well-to-do kid. They stumble upon Tim and basically kidnap him. He goes along with it because he doesn't know how long he'll be stuck here and he needs to blend in.
We all know the jokes of Tim being forever 17? Well, being exposed to the portal and the GZ as intensely as he was slows down his aging (unlike Danny whose aging completely stops) Tim doesn't leave Drake Manor much, nor is anyone much around to notice anything, so it's not like it matters. He doesn't actually notice at first!
Then, Tim sees Batman and Robin. At first, it was just glimpses of them, but then he got obsessed. He bought a camera using the Drakes money and set about his quest. He follows the vigilantes, learns from them from a distance, because this is what his brother does! This is what he was helping his brother do!
Eventually, Robin quits, leaving Batman and Batgirl. Dick Grayson leaves Gotham just after that. Then, Bruce Wayne adopts Jason Todd and Robin is back on the scene. Tim pieces it together pretty quick after that
Meanwhile, Danny's a mess. His twin brother is missing somewhere in the Realms, probably scared out of his mind and he can't find anyone who'll help him look! On top of that, Vlad's getting on his nerves more than usual, pushing further and further past the line he'd drawn in the sand.
Then, the Nasty Burger explodes. No one dies, thank God, but Jazz, Sam, Tucker, and his parents are all in the hospital.
Scared out of his damn mind that he'll become Dan, he retreats to the Realms. He flies and flies, grief skewing both his sense of direction and his will to care, and he ends up somewhere dark. It feels different from the rest of the Realms he's explored. Everywhere else, he could feel Clockwork and the Observants Watching, but not here.
Danny, needing to rest and calm himself down, lands in Gotham. Right in the middle of a Scarecrow attack. He's doused with Fear Gas.
Batman and Nightwing have been fighting again, and the new guy, Red Hood, isn't helping matters. Robin, in an effort to just get away for a bit, goes off on his own during patrol. That's when Scarecrow attacks.
Danny, more human than ghost at the moment, sees flames engulfing the building next to him, his friends and family all in there. And right in the middle of everything is his twin brother. He tries to get to them, to Tim, but someone's holding him back.
Tim sees his brother. He'd run to where Scarecrow just left, letting Batman and Nightwing handle Rogue, to check on any civilians that might've gotten caught, and he only sees one. At first he thought that he'd inhaled some of the Fear Gas, but he can think clearly and there aren't any other symptoms.
"Danny?" Tim asks, voice quiet, not daring to hope this is real. He'd almost given hope about ever getting home. He doesn't get an answer, but he can see the symptoms of Fear Gas settling over Danny, so he restrains him before he can hurt himself.
Danny passes out as soon as Tim gets him the antidote, and now Tim is left to explain why he's brought a civilian back to Drake Manor and why the civilian looks like him

Oliver Adopts Danny
(Note: I have no idea what exactly happened on the island and made up my own thing. Also I had no plan when making this and it shows)
...
So! When Oliver landed on that Deserted Island, he wasn't alone.
On the Island, there was a Little Kid.
He was about 7, and he was just as confused as to why he was there. Apparently he had been sleeping at home when all of a sudden he felt himself falling, and seconds later he hit the ground in the forest. He couldn't remember anything past that, or really anything before that as well. He had seemingly lost his memories.
So, Oliver was stuck helping a Random Kid while trying to survive on the island.
He did learn that the Kid was a Metahuman with the ability to make Unmelting Ice, but the kid seemed disappointed by his powers. It was like he expected them to be stronger than they were. When asked, he said that he didn't actually know why he felt that, like it was something else he had forgotten.
And that was how the situation stood for a few years. He and the Kid, who he eventually learned was named Danny, became closer. He took up a paternal role in the kids Life, trying to keep him safe from the dangers of the island.
Danny was also a huge help on the island, his Ice was useful during Hot Nights, and the fact that it was Durable and Didn't Melt made it a good material for their tools. He also knew a lot of random skills, like the basics of how to shoot a Bow and how to set up a Campfire.
By the time they had been there for 3 years, Oliver already saw Danny like a Son. He had decided long ago that when they finally left the island, he would adopt him.
Then, on the 4th Year, Oliver found something strange. There were tracks in the Dirt on the less explored side of the Island, Human Tracks.
Following them, he found the source, An Illegal Slave Trading Ring.
The Base seemed to be new, so they had probably set up shop a few weeks ago at most. He and Danny must have missed them because they didn't usually go to that side of the Island.
He returned to the Camp that night and contemplated what to do.
It took another few days for him to resolve himself to go and save those people.
It took another few weeks to prepare himself.
It took less than 30 minutes to get the Job Done.
By the end of that night, every Slaver on the island was Dead, and the slaves were set free. They still didn't have a way off the island, since a few of them had managed to sabotage the boat before they died, but Oliver and Danny were there to help them.
By the 5th Year, they basically had a Small Village set up back there their Camp used to be. It was a community of all of the people Oliver had managed to save that night, all working together to survive on that Mysterious Island.
Then one day, finally got some luck. A Fishing Boat had gotten lost on their usual Route, and had spotted the SOS Signal that they had set up on the Beach.
After that it didn't take long for everyone on the Island to be saved. Oliver asked the former slaves to keep his heroics a secret because he wanted to keep him and Danny safe from the press, and they all agreed.
So, Oliver went home and adopted Danny.
He also decided to become a Vigilante.
And then eventually he joined the Justice League.
And one day while showing his son around the newly build Watchtower he ran into Constantine, who then proceeded to ask "Why the hell do you have a mini-death god holding your hand?"
...
I have no idea what this was supposed to be. I wanted Oliver to adopt Danny, and I wanted it to be on the Island, but I had no idea how to do it.
My basic idea for it is that Danny accidently wished for a Good Dad one day and Desiree heard him. So she turned him into a Kid, sealed away most of his Powers, and sent him to the Island with no memories past age 7.
Maybe this was "Ghost King Danny"?
Idk, I like it more as "King Danny who rejects the Throne but is still basically the leader because he keeps helping people no matter what" but that's just me.
Thoughts?

let me know if the links aren't working and feel free to suggest any
& BRUCE
City Of Last Hopes (The Long Homecoming)  T
Bruce Wayne became a registered foster parent at the age of twenty when he decided to take in a newly orphaned Dick Grayson. The state of New Jersey and the city of Gotham decided to utilize that fact. Over the years, Bruce has fostered dozens of children, though they were all kept out of the limelight for their own protection. Some he was able to keep in contact with after they moved on from his home. Others, he wasn't. But the ones he worried about the most were the two that should have been his but weren't, were taken away, instead. It's been eleven years since Bruce last saw Jazz and Danny Fenton, and while he's grateful to know they're alive, he dearly wished he'd found them sooner.
All I Am To You Is A Tragedy, Right?  M SERIES
Two years ago, Bruce Wayne lost his son, Danny, to one of the Fentons' botched inventions. Return to present day, he's come to another universe to retrieve something from Fenton Works. There, he finds another version of his son, alive and breathing. If Bruce could not keep his son, thanks to their incompetency, why should they keep theirs?
My Best Friend, Danny  G
He had been frothing at the mouth to see Bruce take on the Mantle of the Bat that he hadn’t even thought of how he became Batman, at least not realistically. He knew because the comics told him so, but here and now, feeling Bruce’s tears drying on his skin, the warmth of the child’s back as he rested his hand there soothingly, Danny felt his own tears start to gather. He curled himself around Bruce’s slumbering body and cried softly
Finding Solace  T
When working on a possible case in Amity Park, Bruce Wayne didn't expect to find a kid that would burrow he's way into his heart. A strange connection built, and before Bruce knew it, he found a new addition to the family. Well before they really needed each other.
Rendezvous  T 766 SERIES
a king from another dimension approaches Batman to ask for help. This isn't the weirdest thing Bruce experiences that night.
Wayne's Haunted Mansion  M SERIES
Something is wrong. Bruce notices it when he's not alone, but he feels like he is being watched. The bad part? He feels it both as Bruce Wayne and as Batman. Who is watching him? He's determined to find out. He regrets it when finds out that there is another child in his home, but one who is in desperate need of help.
To Fail And To Succeed  T 6,940 SERIES
A very tired Bruce Wayne may have revealed to Vicki Vale that he wasn't as dumb as he pretended, so Brucie Wayne needs a stupid business venture to throw money at. What better than two paranormal scientists who swear they can build a portal to the Realm of the Dead? He didn't anticipate the damn thing actually working. And he certainly didn't anticipate watching another child die.
The Absolute Fuckery Caused By One Danny Fenton  NR
Jazz got Bruce Wayne to temporarily get care of Danny to prevent anymore attacks from the G.I.W. towards her brother. A few flaws with this plan, Danny doesn't trust adults, rich people, or people who want to adopt him. Which Bruce Wayne technically fits all of. So Danny has come to the conclusion if he is going to be shacked up, mostly against his will, with another Fruitloops, he is going to enjoy himself, and hopefully get himself kicked out in the process.
Found In Gotham  G 4,026 SERIES
Months after appearing in Metropolis, a teen with glowing white hair appears exploring Gotham's skyline. He appears to be looking for the city's main vigilante, so Batman approaches him.
Monsters At Your Doorstep  T 1,907
Bruce falls into a cave of bats and meets the darkness-- or whatever it is that lives inside it.
Summons  NR 17,295
Phantom was next in line for the throne of the Ghost Zone, however, he was still underage. He wouldn't be king for some time, yet when they summon the Ghost King now, someone still has to show up.
Long Live The King (The Ghost King Is Dead)  T SERIES
Ghosts are attacking across the nation. The Justice League Dark's supernatural entity contacts either don't know anything or they refuse to talk. The government facilities that the ghosts are targeting refuse to offer any information, rather they are pushing for martial law that allows them to declare war against the attacking ghosts. Bruce's last lead is Jasmine Fenton, daughter of the deceased ecto-biologists Madeleine and Jack Fenton, currently imprisoned in Blackgate.
Oh, My Humanity  T 4.466 SERIES
In one timeline, Bruce learns about Phantom's identity as the ghost falls to pieces in his arms. In another, Bruce finds out like this. Bruce copes like he always does: by falling apart at the seams. Otherwise known as: an alternate sequel to oh, the humanity, now with more emotional impact.
Timeline Unraveling  T SERIES
Clockwork rescues old Bruce Wayne, Terry and Matt McGinnis, Max Gibson and Dana Tan from a collapsing timeline and brings them safely to Danny, who delivers them to a Gotham decades before most of them were born. Not only is it in the past, but it becomes obvious very quickly that this new past is drastically different. Jason's alive, the Joker's dead, Bruce has another child besides Dick, Tim and Jason, and Bruce actually goes to therapy. It's a lot of adjustment for both the timeline refugees and the people of the new timeline who are helping them.
Late At Night, When The Nightingale Sings  T SERIES
Stumbling blindly through Gotham's night was not how Danny expected his evening to go -- but to be fair, Vlad injecting him with blood blossom extract was also NOT how he was expecting his evening to go. So it's a night of new surprises, and really Danny just wants to get away from his godfather as soon as possible before the man catches up to him, or before the blood blossom currently coursing through his veins and eating him raw killed him. Vlad is a man that likes to hide in the dark, it's unfortunate for him that Danny's learned to be a thing that hides in there too. From the corner of his unfocused eye he spots a man with horns dripping in shadows, hiding in an alleyway. Danny knows a kindred spirit when he sees one.
Zeus' Dice  T SERIES
Two years, almost to the day, after the Great Amity Park Tragedy finds Danny Fenton, orphaned and alone, being handed over to his newest foster parent. But, unlike the others, this foster has a secret that could bring Danny back into the hero business. Because, unlike the others, this foster is a hero himself: He is Batman.
Ghosts Of Gotham  T
Gotham has a ghost problem. And it's not the Amity Park kind of ghost problem. While Danny tries his hardest to stay out of the spotlight, his attempts to help the unseen population of Gotham lands him in a world of trouble. Now Bruce Wayne is offering him protection and he could be the only one with the ability to stop a new crime organisation from taking over his new home. OR People are going missing in Gotham and this new kid is keeping secrets. Bruce doesn't like this at all.
Voices That They Left  T SERIES
When a new ghostly enemy cost Danny Fenton the lives of his friends and family, he wasn't expecting to get adopted by billionaire Bruce Wayne and move to Gotham. All he needs to do is survive two years until he can go back to live in Amity Park. Something dark is growing in him though, and it's stoking the bitterness and anger that burns inside.
& JASON
The Third Mother  NR
For the past year, Jason Todd has been searching for his birth mother. There are three potential suspects for the identity of his mother. The first is an agent by the Israeli Secret Service by the name of Sharmin Rosen. The second is an assassin of world renown working under the name Lady Shiva. The third is revealed to be a false name. Dr. Sheila Haywood died before Jason was even born. When the first two leads turn out to be dead ends, Jason has only one way forward: visit Haywood's only living relative (who isn't off the grid): Her sister, Dr. Maddie Fenton. But the town of Amity Park has its own secrets, and they don't take too kindly to the Bats investigating their home...
Chasing Shadows  T
As Bruce Wayne begins to slowly recover from the loss of his son, two separate mysteries open up old wounds. Who is the unknown leaving clues hinting at a return to Gotham, and who is the phantom pretending to be his lost son? Is it just a coincidence they're active in Gotham at the same time? Or are they connected?
Unearthed, Reborn  M
24-year-old Danny isn't sure what, exactly, is going on when he stumbles on newly-formed halfa Jay in the Ghost Zone. Unfortunately, Jay can't really remember enough to give him any hints. Oh well, who needs to know their past anyway? This is Gotham; no one cares about your past here. Besides, Jay just got adopted by the weirdest trio of people he's ever met, so he's got more important things to focus on.
Ghosts? As My Therapy Animals? More Likely Than You Think.  T 21,463
Jason is minding his own business, picking up strange green glowing goops with eyes, and living his not-very-best life. Meanwhile the Batfamily is tracking down flying dogs, overpowered Metas calling themselves ghosts, and someone is having far too much fun with the boxes around Gotham. But this ain't about them.
"Oh My God, I'm Becoming My Father."  T
Dani needs money, there's only so long her human body can last without food, and she lost the credit card Sam gave her when she crash-landed in Gotham city bay. So, she decides she's going to go the one guy she knows exists in Gotham that will help a kid down on their luck no questions asked - Red Hood. Last time she'd seen Danny, he'd told her that there were rumours the Red Hood was undead, so he was the safest option for a halfa like her. Some time after arriving Tim hides and a seething Jason goes looking for him and finds a tired guy that looks like Tim who offers him a thermos.
Batman's Cape  T
Pain and Fear reverberate throughout the Infinate Realms, a wail rips through the air coming from everywhere and nowhere at once. Meanwhile on a table the Realms King to be lay strapped down, that which should not be seen lay bare to the eyes of the two in the room. Those he once called parents, Jack and Maddie Fenton held tools that seemed to shift to the macabre glowing all the while. He made a mistake, he let his guard down. They touched it. TheytouchedithelphelphelpneedsafesafesafesafesafeDamiDamiDamiDamiDamiSafeDamisafe. Jason knew something was wrong, did he have to admit it? No. He had been hearing screems -young screams- reverberating through what sure felt like his whole body along with pain searing just under his skin for a week now on and off. Plus it didn't' help that once the pain was gone the pit would take over and he would wake up like 2 states to the west with questionably clean hands and no recolection on how he got there.

Spelunking  T 7,341 SERIES
Danny had just arrived at Wayne Manor after losing everything and convincing Vlad to take a break from trying to mold the kid to be his perfect son. Zombie Prince Of The Infinite Realms  T
On a business trip to Gotham, Danny Fenton, CEO of FentonWorks (and King of the Infinite Realms), feels something shift in the fabric of reality. The Moon Will Sing A Song (I Love You Like The Sun)  T SERIES
Sometimes, grief has a gravity that you never get up from. And sometimes, it leaves little boys that have glass in their teeth and punch-scraped skin with a hole in their heart and blood in their mouth, and a five-year long taste for vengeance over the murder of their best friend. Gotham claws its way into the hearts of its children and leaves oil-smears on their souls. For Danny Fenton, he is no different and no better than the rest of his fellow kids of Crime Alley. It doesn't matter if he's been gone since he was eleven. Blood has always been a part of him, so it's second nature for him to pick up his fists and turn them into claws. It's how he's been taught, after all. And what he's also been taught, is that arrogance kills, and the Joker has been long since due for his fill. What's one more death in Gotham's long list of them?

Starling  T
The kid went by ‘Danny Phantom’. The next file was where things got interesting. Throwdown Therapy  T 30,714 SERIES

Adoption Isn’t All It’s Cracked Up To Be  T

While they weren’t entirely certain it wasn’t just infested with metas, the locals believed the entities that haunted, for lack of a better word, the town were actual ghosts. If there was one thing Ra’s al Ghul didn’t need to get his grubby hands on, it was ghosts. That’s probably why Jason was doing this. He had the unfortunate luck to experience both death and resurrection in a way he’d never recommend to anyone else.

According to the birth certificate Bruce found, this was still very much the beginning and why oh why did he always get surprise relationships?! And no he was not panicking, shut up dear children. The City Never Makes Us Beg  G 2,661
The Nightingales appear in the Bowery one day in the summer. There had been no moving truck, no arduous trips carrying boxes and furniture up the five flights of stairs to their apartment, no picking up keys from the super. There hadn’t been any paperwork done either, for that matter. They had simply appeared, fully settled into an apartment that had been empty for three years. The Nightingales moved to the Bowery one day in the summer. Hauling up furniture and boxes the five stories of steps to their apartment. The one they'd been lucky to get thanks to a mistake that hadn't been caught until it was too late. A broken family, trying to put the pieces back together after hardship, keep their heads down, get through the days. Same as anyone else this side of the city. There was no reason to pay much attention, save perhaps Jason's interest in tall women with red hair that looked like they could throw him across the street. The Nightingales were a normal family. Gotham made sure of it.

What's this? A New Fic? I had a really fun idea and wanted to explore it.
Summary:
Danny wakes up in a strange city. He can't access his ghost form, or certain memories. He can't remember his last name, his family or friend's names, or where he's from. Through an unfortunate string of events Danny ends up in Wayne manor. Only Danny doesn't want to be there. Can he remember what's been lost, and more importantly, with the Waynes keeping a close eye on him can he find his way home?
This looks like a straightforward premise but I promise there's a fun twist in there! Full chapter below the cut:
Danny woke in a dark, grungy alley. It was gross in the way home's weren't but he wasn't sure where he would be then. Last thing he remembered was...
He pursed his lips. He'd been in a fight with...someone? He couldn't seem to remember anything about it past that. Not who was fighting him or why.
Okay, so he'd been in a fight and now he was here. Wherever here was. Danny took stock of his surroundings, finding a few filled dumpsters and rusted metal doors to whatever buildings he was sandwiched between. He was in a dead end as well. Cautiously he got to his feet. No pain or pulling when he moved so he wasn't injured at least. His clothes were his normal t-shirt and jeans, just looking as if he'd been on the streets for a while. They were crusted with grime and there were some holes that looked more from wear and tear rather than any ecto blasts.
Slowly Danny made his way to the entrance of the alleyway. When he looked out he saw run-down buildings, cars missing tires, and people with guarded expressions pointedly not interacting with each other.
Oookay, that was...probably not a good sign actually. He glanced around and saw a street name, but he didn't recognize it. Not that he thought he would at this point. It was clear he wasn't back home.
So this was obviously not an ideal situation but that was fine. Danny could just go ghost and find his way home, easy peasy. Only when he tried going ghost nothing happened. He tried again. Nothing. Attempting to keep from panic he tried to go invisible. This time his power worked. Okay, invisibility was good. He stepped out into the street and began walking anywhere but the dingy area he had found himself in.
At first it was just a matter of which direction, then how far to go. After about ten minutes the scenery started looking marginally better. Danny took that as a reason to push onward and maybe find a library or something, anything to tell him where he was.
There was a sudden scream, followed by a few people running past him, then all hell broke loose.
Danny had heard about crowds sweeping people away but he had never experienced it before and he was not eager to again. People pushed and pulled, knocking him this way and that. In his confusion he had dropped his invisibility. Wondering what all the panic was from, Danny tried to force his way to an alley that was to his left. As he did he heard deranged laughter coming from behind. It echoed off the buildings and assaulted his ears. Finally Danny shoved past the last string of people to duck into the alleyway. In front of him, a good hundred or so people became engulfed in some kind of gas.
The ones in the cloud joined in the laughter. It was a crowd of horrifying hysterics before people one by one started collapsing to the ground. Danny backed up further as the gas seeped towards him. He didn't know what it was but he DID know he didn't want it to get in his lungs.
A shadow passed over him. He looked up to see someone in a bright yellow suit rushing into the scene, followed by someone in a black and blue suit. Were these guys responsible for what happened? He got his answer as the real culprit finally made its way in front of his alley. A man dressed like a clown was swiftly kicked in the face, losing his grip on the hose spewing gas out. Danny watched, enthralled, as more suited people came in. They split up between helping the people on the ground and taking out the clown and his lackeys, who had clown masks on.
So they were heroes. Just like him! Only...really they were quite a lot better than him. There was less property damage at least. In no time it seemed the clown was being cuffed by the police and ambulances were there to take the victims away.
The cops flooding the scene gave Danny an idea. He ran up to the nearest officer and caught his attention.
The officer, his tag read Jeffs, turned with a frown. "What is it kid? Someone you know in one of the ambulances?"
"No, I just woke up in the alley," Danny ignored how Officer Jeffs's expression switched to one of disinterest. "I need help getting back to my family. I don't know where I am."
"Alright, what's your name?"
"Danny-...Danny....?" Why couldn't he remember his last name?
"Danny, I need a last name."
"I can't remember it."
A deep sigh followed his words. "Okay Danny with no last name, you got an address?"
Danny perked up. "I'm from-!" From...some....some town with park in the name? He struggled to recall the first part of the name but nothing was coming to him. "I can't...."
"Remember." Jeffs finished with exasperation. "Look kid, if you're just trying to waste police time-"
"I'm not! I really am lost!"
The cop gave him a bland look. "Let's get you to the station then. We'll try fingerprints and go from there." Danny climbed into the back of the police car somewhat reluctantly. It smelled like death, he would know, and there were stains he didn't want to know on the seats. Something dark brown flecked the bars separating him from the front.
Yeah he really didn't want to think about that.
It was a short ride to the station. After getting his fingerprints they had him sit in a waiting area while they ran them. There was only two others in there with him, a lady in her mid thirties holding tightly to a young baby, who was crying its eyes out, wailing so loud Danny had to cover his ears to bear it. She was trying with no luck to shush it. He was very happy when the door opened and an officer called the lady away.
Now in silence Danny took the time to think about what was happening. He didn't know why he couldn't remember his last name, or the name of his town, or why he had trouble remembering what his friends and family looked like. Those were things he knew he should remember. Maybe he hit his head? But there wasn't any pain or dizziness. It was almost as if someone had reached into his brain and plucked everything important out so he couldn't get back easily.
"Alright kid, let's go."
Danny perked up immediately, "You found them?"
"No," Officer Jeffs said. "You aren't in the database. We're going to set you up in the foster system for now."
"But I have a family!"
The officer pinched his nose. "Look kid, unless you remember something, this is what we can do for now. The foster system ain't that bad anyway."
Danny wanted to argue further but he knew that they wouldn't change their minds. It was this fact that had him climbing out of the back of a police car and towards a big building where foster kids apparently waited for someone to take them. He was checked in without being paid attention to and swiftly brought to a room with four bunks in it. Three had boys already in them, the fourth had personal belongings. "You'll take the floor." The lady from the front office told him before shutting the door and leaving him at the mercy of the now vaguely interested boys.
"You look fresh. Lemme guess, parents just died?" A brown haired boy on the top left bunk jabbed. Danny didn't dignify that with a response.
The one on the bunk below that, a boy with dirty blond hair and a scar on his face gave him a shifty smile. "Don' mind him. Wha's your name kid?"
After a quiet pause, "...Danny."
"Well Danny! I'm Jacob, that," He jabbed his thumb up towards the brown haired boy, "is Garret, Tommy's there," this boy had black hair and a pinched face. "an Darius is takin a shower. Pick any spot on th'floor, don' matter much to us where."
Danny studied the boys for a moment before deciding to sit himself at the foot of Tommy and Darius's beds. A part of him wondered why he was on the floor instead of getting his own bunk somewhere. As soon as he settled down the same lady came back and dumped a thin blanket and worn pillow into his lap. Without a single word she left again. "Is she always that friendly?" Danny snarked.
A sharp laugh drew his attention to Tommy. "Oh yeah, she's a fuckin delight."
The other two boys folded over with laughter. It seemed Danny wasn't quite in on the joke but he had a very bad feeling he was about to be.
As the laughter died down, another boy came in. This boy had darker skin but bright blonde hair, clearly bleached, and was definitely older than the other boys in the room. He glanced down at Danny with disinterest that shifted to concern. "You don't look like a street kid. You get orphaned or something?"
Danny pursed his lips. "Or something." He wasn't sure how much he should reveal to these boys. For all he knew they were going to take the information and use it against him.
At his reluctance Darius frowned deeper. "Kid, it's good instincts to not trust people but us here in this room are family. We don't backstab each other. If you're in the room, you're in the family."
"I just got here." Danny pointed out blandly.
"Yeah," Darius agreed. "and you'll probably move to a family fast, looking less like street rat, but that don't mean we won't look out for you while you're here."
"My bets are he got kicked out for being gay." Garret piped up. Darius turned to him with a dark scowl. "Not- not that it matters!" Came a quick correction.
Darius looked back at Danny with sympathy. "Don't mind him. He's got a big mouth but he don't mean nothing by speculating. It's how he shows he's worried. How about you take my bunk? It'll be better than the floor."
As nice as the offer was, Danny wasn't about to force the older boy to sleep on the floor when he had already claimed a bed. He shook his head as he placed the bedding down and curled up with it. There was a slight pressure on his knee. When he looked up he saw Darius patting it. "I know the first night is rough kid, we've all been there. You take the top of the bed and I'll take the bottom." His tone made it clear there wasn't room for negotiating.
Slowly Danny moved his blanket and pillow up to the top of the bunk as Darius moved his stuff to the bottom and curled up. He was right, the bed was better. Even though he had woken up only hours before Danny found no trouble in passing out.
When he woke the next morning it was to a warm body crushing him to the wall and at least two people snoring loudly. Darius had somehow managed to take over the bed. Sprawled in as much of a starfish as he could manage, the older boy's back was what had Danny pinned. He would have been upset but the pressure was oddly soothing after the strange disjointed dreams he'd been having. Danny buried his face in between Darius's shoulder blades. He hoped all the boys here were this kind to him, even if Garret had a bad habit of saying upsetting things. At least until he could make it home.
He remembered what Darius had said the night before about being fostered out quickly. Would the people here even want to foster? With five boys put in a four bed room, it seemed like there might have been a crowding issue.
Danny let out a small sigh before closing his eyes again. He could think more about this later, when he got a little more sleep in.
At least that's what he thought. Loud pounding on the door snapped him out of his drowse and quickly roused the other boys. Darius groaned before sliding feet first from the bed. Once standing he gestured for Danny to do the same.
Garret and Jacob were quick to their feet as well but Tommy had to be dragged from the bed by force. Danny found that very relatable.
When everyone was ready, Darius, keeping Danny close, opened the door. There was a swarm of other boys traversing the hall. Each door was closed as the last resident left it. Danny remembered Darius saying not trusting people was smart here and he was suddenly glad he didn't have things to steal. Darius guided Danny to a large room with tables lining the walls. It seemed to be placed so that none of the boys had their backs facing each other.
When everyone was seated, Danny sandwiched between his roommates, a man came in with a cart followed by another man and woman who all started serving food to everyone. A bowl of half cold oatmeal was slid in front of Danny. The spoon he was given was plastic. Darius nudged the boy to his other side and after a few moments something white was slid into his hand. He waited until none of the adults were facing them to pour it into Danny's bowl.
Danny jolted slightly. Was he just given drugs or something?
"It's sugar." Darius whispered to him. "Trust me, you need it for this mush."
"Why are you sneaking it?" Danny whispered back.
"Because food that's not from the program isn't allowed. We have to sneak in anything good."
He nodded his understanding before digging in. The sugar only barely made the food tolerable. It was overcooked and mushy, blander than anything Danny ate before.
Breakfast was thankfully over quickly, but not so thankfully it seemed like it was time for the kids to do whatever it was they did every day. Darius led him back to their room. "So I've got to go into work. Tommy and Garret go to school until three. You're going to have to stick it out in here until then, keep yourself on the down low."
"What about Jacob?"
"He does whatever he wants. Not like anyone here notices. You're probably going to get enrolled in school soon since you're new and you might get fostered quick. They'll want you to sound better to potential families."
Danny frowned. "And why do you go into work?"
Darius smiled but it didn't meet his eyes. "Not everyone gets enrolled into school. Program can only afford so many."
"Isn't it illegal for kids not to go to school?"
"This is Gotham kid, no one cares."
Danny frowned even deeper. It matched what he'd experienced so far but if no one cared then who would help him find his way home?

Changeling Chapter 4
Just realized I forgot to put this here! This and the other chapters can also be found on my AO3.
.
Chapter 4: The Dandelion and the Dragon
.
If Danny was going to use his new abilities for good, he had to understand how to use them.  All of them.  He sort of understood the illusions, the glamours, the way they almost seemed to bend the reality underneath him in a way they shouldn’t if they were just illusions.  The locked door thing seemed pretty straightforward – he just treated locks like they didn’t exist.  The emotions bit… Sam and Tucker were helping him with that.
But the paths leading away from the real world, into what might be the land of Faerie?  That was something he had to explore on his own, something too dangerous to drag Sam and Tucker into unprotected.  Or, rather, protected by nothing more than his parents’ research, which was frustratingly hit-or-miss.  At least when it came to Danny, who probably wasn’t a standard example of a faerie.  Probably.
He knew so little about what had happened to him.  It was aggravating.
The… opening at home might have been the easiest to access, but Danny found himself unsettled by it.  Touching it was like touching a wound.  Whatever his parents had done hadn’t just shattered reality, it had left a scar on it, had broken faith with it.
Also, that opening was where the octopus men came from, and he was far from ready to face them on their home turf.  He'd done what he could for their home, following his parents' research, but he didn’t know if they worked and most of them weren’t things he could bring with him.
So, he was out in town, wandering on his own, following along lines that he felt should bring him where he wanted to go.  The feeling didn’t make sense, but very little about the situation did.
Sometimes, people would turn to look at him, an unaccompanied and rather small teenager walking through the oldest, most run-down part of town, but he pushed their attention away.  It wasn’t easy, but it was good practice, too.
In other cities, this part of town might have been part of Amity Park’s historical district.  The buildings here were old enough.  But they weren’t, and never had been, nice buildings.  The actual historical district was streets away.  This road was almost in Elmerton, which… well.  Amity Park was a nice place to live.  Elmerton… wasn’t.
Now, Danny traced along a faint fracture in reality, feeling it out like a crack in the sidewalk.  It felt a little like the awful hole in the basement, but… more natural, maybe?  Less traumatic?  Less?  More?
He wasn’t sure.  That’s why he was following it.  To find out.  To learn.
Most of the lots here were fenced off from the decaying sidewalk with towering chain link made opaque with a plastic weave.  Banners proclaimed the properties to be under development by Axion Construction.
Axion, Axion…  He’d heard that before, somewhere else.  Different context.  Where?  Something to do with a classmate?
He dismissed the thought as unimportant when the fracture ran through one of the fences.  The flaw in reality existed even in his normal vision, a long dirty zig-zag of frayed plastic bisecting the banner and cracking the plastic parts of the fence.
It was, Danny saw as he leaned forward, just torn enough to let him see beyond.  His fingers picked at the plastic, and he tried not to mind the dirt.
(These days, he was oversensitive to dirt and grime.  Sometimes he was alright with it.  Sam had spilled some fertilizer on him the other day, and that had been alright.  But whatever this was, it felt bad.)
Behind the fence was a rotting church and graveyard.
He’d been here before, if from a different direction.  He’d noticed… something.  There was something there, in the old graveyard, that didn’t fit in the mundane world described by the fencing and construction banner.
He shouldn’t be surprised, then, that there was a—a path here, too.
The roof of the church had caved in, all the paint had peeled off the siding, the graves were overgrown and the stones broken, and there were construction materials – probably intended for the neighboring lots – alternately stacked and strewn all over.  It seemed incredibly disrespectful to Danny, but at least the graves themselves were mostly clear.
He took a step back and looked up.  He could climb the fence, he was sure, but…
He held up one hand and imagined that it was covering a ladder.  A good, strong one, like what Jack used when he was doing work on the house or hanging things on the eaves for wards.
When he dropped his hand, the ladder was there.  It was an illusion, sure, and one that would disappear as soon as Danny stopped paying attention, but Danny could still climb on it.  A ladder, after all, was a normal thing.
He went up and swung over the fence, making the drop to the other side easily.
Ahead of him, among the graves, was the gap in reality he’d been seeking.  He took a step forward and almost jumped out of his skin when a dog ran forward barking.
The dog was big, black, and shaggy, its shoulders easily reaching Danny’s waist.  Danny fumbled for a glamour, but the images slipped from his mind before he could solidify them.
The dog stopped several feet away, tail wagging furiously.  Danny traced a rope leading from the dog’s collar out of sight behind some graves.
“Oh,” he said, “okay, then.”  Now that he had the time to get his wits, the dog didn’t seem particularly threatening or angry.  Rather than a guard dog, it probably belonged to some construction worker.  “Good… boy?”
The dog bounced at the end of the rope and then dropped down, tail still wagging.
Danny eyed the… honestly, this close to it, it didn’t really feel like a hole.  Door, maybe?  Gate?  Well, the exact name for it didn’t really matter.  What mattered was that he could walk through it.  He knew he could walk through it.
He looked back at the dog.  “Wish me luck?” he asked.  The dog laid down, dark eyes looking up at him expectantly.  “Right,” said Danny, uncertainly.
Actually…
Actually, even though the construction stuff here was newer than the church and graveyard, it wasn’t exactly new.  Nothing here seemed very occupied, not even as a worksite.  In fact, if it wasn’t for the dog, Danny would call the whole place abandoned.
The dog was still there.
Danny turned away from the gate and followed the dog’s rope.  The dog got up and padded beside him, eerily silent.
The rope became progressively dirtier and more frayed as Danny traced it through the maze of headstones and construction equipment.  There were tooth marks in it, places where the dog had chewed it.  Some places had been patched with duct tape or with desiccated brambles.  On the whole, though, the rope was thick and sturdy, and even with the patches it didn’t seem likely to snap any time soon.
Danny stepped into the shadow of the church and stopped.  The rope kept going, under the ground, under the corner of the building.  Under, Danny would bet, the foundation, the cornerstone of the church.
No construction worker would repair a rope with thorns.  None would bury the rope they’d tied their dog to, either.  Danny took a deep breath and turned to look at the dog.
The dog blended into the church’s shadow as if it was made of the same substance, or lack thereof, but its eyes burned with a bright, inner fire.  The rope around its neck, meanwhile, seemed to glow.  As it stared at Danny, it was horribly, terribly still.
“A church grim,” said Danny.  A church grim tied to an abandoned church that looked like it was moments from being condemned by the city.  What would happen to it, then?  Danny took another calming breath.  “If I untie you, are you going to try and kill me or end the world or stuff like that?”
The dog yipped and sat down, tail wagging again.  It felt like a promise.
Danny sighed and leaned forward.  “Okay, then, Cujo.  I’m trusting you not to bite.”
The knot was wedged tight and crusted over with something dark.  He made a face.  It’d probably be better to cut it, but he didn’t have scissors…  Maybe he could conjure some out of glamour, but he didn’t think that would work very well, somehow.  Biting his lower lip, he found a likely-looking loop, grabbed it with his fingernails, and pulled.
To his surprise, the knot came away as easily as breathing.  He stumbled back a step as the dog reared up, then pranced around, frolicking like a puppy.  Then he ducked when the dog leapt toward him.  But it soared far over his head, right into the doorway that lead to—to elsewhere.  To Faerie, maybe.
The church walls creaked and one of them, the one that faced the street, collapsed inward, sending up a plume of musty-smelling dust.  Someone on the street shouted.  Then, a higher-pitched voice essayed a question about calling the construction company.  Or the police.
Aw, heck.
Danny didn’t want to top off his already weird reputation by being arrested.
He dove for the doorway.
.
Sunlight filtered through tree branches high overhead and Danny blinked at them from where he lay, flat on his back.  He blinked.  Once.  Twice.  Then he sat up.
He was sitting in the middle of a shaded forest path, carpeted with grass.  The path’s surface was curved – concave up, if he was remembering his math class right.  The space under the trees was crowded with rosebushes, each one laden with brightly colored flowers and sharp thorns.
Cautiously, he pushed himself to his knees, then his feet.  This place…  It felt…  Bright was one word for it.  Except also… Dark?  Bolder, maybe.  Everything he’d been feeling, about things leaking through reality, about things under reality, was summed up here.  This was the place underneath places.  The- The foundation reality was built on.  All things rendered into their component truths and exalted to their ideal states.
But not.
It was more like a place pretending to be the foundation of reality.  Or a story about the foundation of reality.  Or even just a story about reality.  It was removed from everything real, everything true.  It was made up of nothing more than the glamour of the illusions Danny was becoming ever more skilled at.
But also not.
It was too real and too unreal to be anything but reality.  It was just a different one than Danny was used to.  A reality that was between the one Danny just left and some… other place Danny couldn’t name.  One that he instinctively knew operated under different rules.  One that a part of him felt very much at home in.
Were his ears ringing, or was that sound bees buzzing in the roses?
He covered his face for a moment, trying to equilibrate.  Just a moment ago, he’d been in the churchyard.  The graveyard.  Shouldn’t there still be something of that?  Or—No, that logic didn’t follow, did it?  Was this a different universe, or Earth’s mirror?
He looked up again, peering into the golden and green shadows striping the spaces between the trees on either side of the path.  Then, he slowly turned around, and, oh, a few feet behind him was a bend in the path, and at that bend the path forked, one part of it leading to a ruin covered in moss and roses.  A tall tree grew through its roof in imitation of a steeple.  Next to it, bushes grew in a way that vaguely suggested a low, stone wall somewhere beneath them, and, beyond it, an enclosed churchyard.
Danny would have thought that, given where he’d been on the other side, he’d have been in that yard.  If the churchlike ruin wasn’t just a coincidence, or something conjured up because Danny thought there should be something there.  Or maybe distance was also different, here.  Or maybe Danny was focusing on details that weren’t important.  He walked to the edge of the path, careful not to step over it, and looked at the roses.
They were full, multi-layered flowers, not simple wild roses.  They reminded Danny of his attempts at glamour-roses, a little.  Each flower, each petal, was perfect.  Better than real.  But, unlike Danny’s, each bush, each flower, was different.  The way their petals cupped each other, the way the edges ruffled, how far open they were, the gradient of color—There was variation in all of these.  Not always very much, they were still the same kind of flower, but—How many of them were there, anyway?  Should he count—
“You there!”
Danny startled, pulling away from his examination of the roses and looking around wildly.  Was he trespassing?  Well, he had been trespassing in the churchyard, but he had the feeling that the same crime over here would be handled much differently.
There was a young woman rushing toward him on the path, her blue dress held up out of the way of her feet with one hand.  Her hair was long, braided back, and the kind of vivid blonde that seemed almost unreal.
“You there,” she repeated, slightly breathless.  Her eyes were yellow and slit like a cat’s.  “Have you seen my pendant?  It’s about this big—” She made a circle with her fingers. “—green, and ringed with gold, on a gold chain.  Even for news of a glance, and where, I would reward you.”
“No,” said Danny, edging away.  “I’m sorry.”
“Why?” asked the woman, suspiciously.  “Did you take it?”
“No.  No, I didn’t take it.  I’m just—It’s just too bad that you’ve lost it?”  He cringed internally.  This wasn’t a girl from his school – although she looked like she could’ve been, except for the eyes and clothing – she was a faerie or a goblin or something worse.  Someone who, according to his parents, would do anything it could to twist his words into a bargain he couldn’t keep, or steal him away, or simply do terrible things to him because it could.
Danny watched the young woman in front of him, who looked only about as old and conniving as the seniors at Casper High, twisting her hands and picking at her sleeves and skirts, her face a mask of worry.
He couldn’t see it.
“Is it important?” asked Danny.  “The pendant?”
“Very,” she said.  “It was a gift from my parents, before…  Oh, how could I be so stupid?”
“Did you lose it around here?” Danny asked.  “I—” He cut himself off.  He shouldn’t say anything that could be construed as a promise, even something as banal as a promise to help her look for the necklace or to return it if he found it.  His parents had been very clear about the potential consequences of doing so, and they ranged from bad luck to being sold to literal hell.
“Yes,” she said.  “I came to find flowers.”
“It seems to be a good place for it,” said Danny, encouragingly.
“No, it is terrible.  My brother told me that if I could find him a flower unlike any other in all of the kingdom, he would let me hold my dance, but all of these…”  She gestured at the perfect, and admittedly very similar, roses.
“Oh,” said Danny.  “Why don’t you get a flower that isn’t from the kingdom?”  As soon as he asked the question, he knew it was a mistake.
The woman had gone still.  Her pupils narrow, she turned to look down at him.  “You,” she said, slowly, inhaling deeply.  “You are not from here.”
“I’m just a traveler,” said Danny, raising his hands and stepping away.  He mentally reached out, trying to find the edges of the doorway he’d come through.  “I don’t mean any harm.”
The woman, who had been leaning forward quite a bit, drew herself back up and smoothed her skirts.  “It hardly matters.  I must forget myself, talking to a human about this.  You are human, aren’t you?”
Danny shrugged.  “I don’t know what else I am,” he said.
She huffed.  “Your suggestion has some merit, I suppose.  But… you truly have not seen my pendant?  At all?  No sign or inkling of where it might be?  It’s worth is not in the gold, but the memories, and by all accounts you humans have little trade in those.  I could give you things you would find far more dear.”
Danny shook his head.  “I’d tell you if I did.”
“And I don’t suppose you know any dances?”
“None that I think would interest you, uh, ma’am?  Miss?”
“Never you mind what I’m called.”  She half turned away from him.  “I will simply have to find it myself.”  She marched up to the roses, then stopped, glaring at them.
Danny followed her gaze.  His earlier look at the roses had focused on the flowers, but there were thorns in those bushes.  Long, blood-colored things.  Not the best for walking through, especially with a dress like the girl was wearing.  Especially if, like Danny suspected from how she was acting, she wasn’t really supposed to be here.
He shrugged out of his jacket.  It was just a windbreaker, and it was kind of ragged around the sleeves, but it wasn’t like she’d be wearing it.
“Here,” he said, offering it to her.  “I don’t know if you actually need it, or anything, but you can, I don’t know, lay it down on top of roses so you can step on them, or step over them without worrying about the thorns?”
She regarded the jacket skeptically, and took it from him, holding it by the very tips of her fingers, like it was a disgusting rag.  Which.  Okay.  Fine.  She was a faerie princess or whatever.  Still, it wasn’t like it was that dirty.  Danny had made sure of it.  He couldn’t stand dirt anymore.
Then, she flicked it, once, with her wrists, and it… rippled, changed, until it was no longer a worn windbreaker but a length of shimmering fabric that pooled at her feet, similar to the jacket only in terms of the colors used.  If it was the kind of illusion Danny could use, it was so much better than his that he couldn’t even see his former windbreaker beneath it.  She tilted her head at it, consideringly.
“It will do,” she said, finally.  She looked back at Danny, then raised her hand to point back over his shoulder.  “There is a gateway to the human world, down the road that way.  Let this be enough to void any debt between us.”
“Sure?” said Danny.  “I mean, yes.”
“Off with you, then.  You would not want to be caught by my brother, or the hunter.  Not in this day, when things that are sleeping stir.”  She looked away, back towards the roses.
Danny nodded, then, after a moment of hesitation, turned away to walk down the path.  It was in the opposite direction of the maybe-church, and therefore the way he’d come in, but he could tell when he was being dismissed, and he didn’t want to be caught by any hunter.
If he couldn’t feel anything, he’d loop back around.  Unless spatial relationships here were as messed up as temporal ones were supposed to be, according to stories like Rip Van Winkle.
He did feel something, though.  Nothing as strong as in the churchyard, nothing he would have noticed without looking for it, but still something.  Something more… solid… than the world around him.
Under a rosebush, something flashed gold.  He knelt, looking.  He hadn’t promised the girl anything about looking for her necklace, but if it was really just right there…  The gold twitched, and before Danny could think twice about it, he lunged for the movement, catching the—Catching something.  But it pulled sideways in his hand, slipping out from between his fingers, and the next thing he knew he was face down in very earthy-smelling dirt.
He was home again.
He sat up and brushed himself off.  Ugh, he was dirty.  Gross.  And left over glamour or magic or whatever he should call it was caught in his eyelashes, dazzling his eyes.  Where was he?  There were trees and, appropriate to the season, wilting rose bushes, but other than that…  Well, he could’ve been in Europe, for all he knew.
Maybe this trip could’ve been planned better.  Probably.  Most likely.  Definitely.
He took out his phone and looked at the time – the same day, just a couple hours after he set off.  That…  He squinted, trying to remember when he’d gotten to the old church.  Had he gained time?  How long had it taken him to walk there?  And the location…  Good old Amity Park Park.
Was that normal?  Could he expect this kind of thing, when walking around in the in-between?  Or was it a fluke?
Either way, he should get back home.  He’d pressed his luck enough today.
He put his phone back in his pocket, and that’s when he saw it, glittering under a rosebush.  He glared at it for a second, expecting it to jump sideways, like the sparkles he’d seen before, on the other side, but it stayed still.
Danny frowned and looked around, carefully, trying to look more, see deeper, but although there was a pathway behind-below-between, there was nothing like that under that particular bush, and no sign of glittering, tempting emotions, either.
With a sigh, he got down on his hands and knees.  He was going to have to clean under all his nails, after this.
Under the bush, next to a struggling and slightly crooked dandelion, was a pendant, just like the one the faerie girl described.  He reached out, carefully, and grabbed it, drawing it out to look at it under the autumn sun.  It was a simple enough piece of jewelry, but even Danny could tell that it was well made and it was heavy.  The gold of both the chain and the pendant itself had to close to pure.  Even so, what the young woman had said was right.  The greater part of its value was that someone cared about it.  It was important to someone.  Very important.
Well.
Danny grimaced.  He was under no real obligation to bring it back.  He hadn’t made a deal or accepted payment.  The girl had been so distracted and worried about it missing that she hadn’t even gotten out a whole offer.  Going back might be dangerous.  He might not be able to return to the here and now.  The faerie might somehow take offense that he’d touched something of hers.   Her brother or the hunter she’d mentioned might be there.  She might not be there anymore, for that matter.
There were many reasons for him not to get up, turn around, and walk right back through the door.  Most of them weren’t even related to greed or curiosity or the scraps of magic clinging to the pendant.
He didn’t get up, turn around, and walk right back through the door.
He picked the dandelion and then got up, turned around, and walked back through the door.
Immediately, he knew he’d screwed up.  While not radically different to the path he’d left moments before, it still wasn’t the same path.  It was darker here, the roses not as thick, the trees not as widely spaced.  Even the scent of the place was different.
He turned again, having decided to just go home after all and worry about the necklace later, but the gate he’d come through wasn’t there.  Or, at least, it wasn’t there in the same way it had been when he’d left through it before.  Kind of like turning on a faucet and getting a trickle instead of a steady stream.
In other words, he wasn’t getting home that way.
Great.  He was lost.  Lost in Faerie, or something close to it, because he couldn’t leave well enough alone.  That was going to be his epitaph.  ‘Danny Fenton: Died Doing Something He 100% Didn’t Have To Do.’  All caps.  Except no one would know that should be his epitaph, because he didn’t tell anyone what he was doing and they weren’t going to find a body anyway.
He shook himself.  He wasn’t exactly in a different position than he’d been in when he went through the doorway in the churchyard, and he had neither panicked nor died then.  It was just that this would be a substantially stupider way to die now, having come back, then it would have been to die then, when he’d never been to this place before.  He just had to look around for another way back, maybe by starting with the impression of this doorway and tracing it…
A loud bark startled Danny from his thoughts, and he looked up to see two fiery eyes staring at him from a shadow just off the path.  He yelped and jerked backwards as the shadow surged forwards, resolving into… The dog.
Okay.
“You gave me a heart attack there, Cujo,” said Danny.  That joke was pretty cheesy, and he’d already used it once before, but he couldn’t think of any other monster dog jokes right now.  Something to do with Clifford, Maybe?  But this dog wasn’t nearly that big.  “I don’t suppose you know how to get back h—”  He paused, looking down at the flower and necklace in his hand.  If he was actually asking the magic dog…  “Can you lead me to the person this belongs to, maybe?”
The dog barked again and trotted off down the path.  Danny hurried to keep up, almost jogging.  Then definitely jogging.  Then running.  Sprinting, full out.  Trees whipped by them as they ran, and they were no longer under tall straight trees among rosebushes, but sunlight-yellow trees with weeping branches, and then gnarled oaks with falling bronze leaves, spaces wide open beneath them, men, or men-like beings on horseback riding parallel to their run, then splitting off, then a kind of vineyard, strung between old fruit trees, then roses again, their perfume heady and pink, trees in and of themselves, and more roses, winding around trunks and ruined walls, and then—
The dog skidded to a stop.  So did Danny, winded and not entirely sure if he’d seen what he had seen.  His lower legs were striped with thorn scratches.  The dog seemed unbothered, wagging it’s tail fiercely.
“Good—” gasped Danny.  “Good boy.  Good boy, Cujo.”  That might as well be its name.  Danny didn’t think that ‘Clifford’ would do it justice, anyway.
The faerie girl stared down at him incredulously.  “What—”
“I found this,” said Danny, holding up the pendant.  “And I don’t know if dandelions grow in your kingdom or not, but—” He shrugged, then tipped both the flower and pendant into the woman’s hands
The girl looked at the pendant and flower in her open hand, then closed her fingers.  “You are not human, are you?  But you are no goblin, either.  Nothing of the borderland.  But you would be known if you were—How old are you?”
“Fourteen,” said Danny, too surprised by the question to do anything but answer it.  “And—And I’m pretty sure I am still human, at least a little…”
“Fourteen,” repeated the girl, apparently ignoring Danny’s second statement.  “Fourteen.”  She looked back at her necklace.  “I find that I am in your debt, and there is no bargain between us.  What would you ask of me?”
“Um,” said Danny.
“Surely, you had something in mind?” asked the girl.
“I—Not really,” admitted Danny.  “Maybe, could you explain how the doorways work?  And point me back at the one you told me about before?”
The girl put on her necklace and tucked the flower into her sleeves.  “I can tell you what I know about the doorways.”
Danny nodded.  He could work with that.
.
Danny managed not to fall flat on his face when he used the door back to the normal world this time, which did a great deal to soothe his injured dignity.  He was among trees and plants again, and it seemed very like Amity Park Park, but he didn’t think there had been this many flowerbeds there…  And his phone didn’t have a signal.  He could hear cars and see multi-story buildings, though, so…
“Use the necklace on it, Maddie!”
That was his Dad’s voice.  And—Necklace?
Danny rounded a tree and almost ran into his mother, who was carrying something in her raised and outstretched hand.  Something that he did run into, with a yelp.  That hurt.
“Oh!” said Maddie, both her eyebrows going up.  She dropped her hand, and Danny saw that the ‘necklace’ was a horseshoe on a length of iron chain.  Ugh.  No wonder it hurt.  “Danny.  I didn’t-- What are you doing here?”
“Um,” said Danny, still not entirely sure where here was.  Was he back in the park?  It looked kind of like the park.  “I was taking a walk.”  Technically true.  It’s just that he wasn’t taking a walk here, exactly.  “You know.  What are you doing here?”
“We’re researching disappearances in the area,” said Maddie, tucking the chain into her toolbelt.  “How do you feel?  Disoriented?  Are you missing any memories?  Where is your coat?  It’s cold out.”
“I—How would I even know?” asked Danny, not sure which question he was answering.  “What does a horseshoe have to do with it?”
“Well, if it is the neighbors causing the disappearances, it’s good to be prepared for them,” said Maddie.  “Cold iron is a good weapon against them.”
“And I’ve got the bait!” said Jack, jumping into view with a fishing rod in hand.  A doll hung from the end.  A doll with gold-colored plastic buttons.  The doll, Danny slowly realized, that he had lunged after.  The one under the bush in the in-between.  The Hedge.
Oh, that was embarrassing.
“Hiya, Danno!  Couldn’t resist watching your parents work?”
“Uh,” said Danny.
“Well, I can’t imagine Danny coming to the rose garden for anything else,” said Maddie, with a tone of fond exasperation.  She patted Danny’s head.  “But you should really wear a coat out here.  It’s cold.”  Her fingers slipped down to tap his bare neck.  “And some talismans wouldn’t be a bad idea…”
“Maybe next time,” said Danny, glad to know where he’d… landed?  Emerged?  “I’m not in the way, am I?”
“Never!” exclaimed Jack.  “Oh!  I know, you can operate the new and improved Fenton Fae Finder!”  He pulled out a spindle-shaped pendulum on a piece of string and shoved it at Danny.
“Um, is this for dowsing, or--?”
“Yes!” said Jack.  “You’ve got it!  Now, onwards!”
Maddie patted Danny’s shoulder.  “I really am glad that you came with us.  It should be safer now that that one is gone, but that doesn’t mean that other ones can’t still do harm.  Please, try to be safe, Danny.”
Danny swallowed.  “I’ll… see what I can do.”

After parking up the street Josh and Danny walked to their favorite coffee shop. Standing at the specials board they scanned it for all the fun new drinks. Josh already knew what he wanted, it's the same thing he always gets, the same thing Y/N always gets, an iced vanilla chai with oat milk.
“D’ya know what you want?” He asked Danny as he peeled himself away from the chalk board.
“Yes, I'm gonna try the blueberry vanilla latte.”
Opening the door for them both Josh hummed,”hmm, that could be good.”
It was Saturday so the line was fairly long, bangs and clanks and the sounds of steam coming from behind the counter. Danny put his hand flat against the small of Josh's back, leaning down slightly to talk into his ear over all the noise,” I'm gonna head to the bathroom real quick, order for me? I want a large blueberry latte.”
“Sounds good love, I'll meet you by the door.”
They separated and Josh went to stand in line, seconds later more people joined the queue behind him. He turned his head slightly, peeking behind him as he waited. The woman directly behind him in line was around his age, if he had to guess, and super pregnant. He couldn't help the way the corners of his lips turned up, he just thought she was adorable. As the line progressed they were shuffled up closer to the front where you could see the case with all the pastries. Josh stifles a giggle when she crowds a little closer to him to see the muffins and scones, and her bag accidentally bumps into his back. She was so cute and she reminded him of Y/N just a few months ago.
“Shit, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to run into you!” She said from over his shoulder as her purse bumps him again.
Josh turned to face her,” No worries!” He points to the chocolate chip muffin in the case,” That one looks good!’
She points further down,” I was thinking about getting the lemon scone. It sounds so good.”
He notices that she's here by herself as she continues to point out pastries that look delicious. Now he really can't hide the grin on his face as she debates back and forth with herself about the lemon scone or the butter croissant. He decides then to be nice and pay for her order.
“My wife is at home with our little girl. The baby actually wanted to sleep in this morning so Dad was sent to go get the coffee.”
“Oh that's so sweet.” She grins back at him. She opens her mouth to say something else but the barista taking orders interrupts asking Josh for his order.
“Hi, yes. Can I get a large blueberry vanilla iced latte, and two large iced vanilla chais with oat milk. Uhh, 3 butter croissants…” Josh turned his head to the woman he had been chatting with,” You wanted the lemon scone right? What do you want to drink? I'll pay.” He shoots her his million watt smile.
“Oh! Oh my god, you didn't have to do that, are you sure?’
“Of course!”
“Can I get a large vanilla iced coffee, but decaf?”
The barista smiles,”Anything else?’
Josh shook his head no, handing her his card.
As him and the woman he paid for made their way to the pick up area she kept thanking him.
“It wasn't a problem.I just wanted to do something nice today!” He said as he spies Danny walking over to them.
A minute later the barista calls his name out into the cafe and they go to retrieve the drinks. Josh hands her her coffee and she grabs the little bag with her scone in it.
“Thank you again Josh, you're too kind!” She waves goodbye as she makes her way over to a table by the window. Josh hands Danny the flimsy cup carrier, not trusting himself to not accidentally ruin their morning beverages.
Quickly they make their way back to the car and Josh giggles as Danny buckles the coffees into the back seat. They close their doors and Danny starts to speak, his tone playful,” You thought she was cute! That's why you bought her stuff.”
“I mean of course I did. She was adorable.” Josh huffs,” She reminded me of Y/N…”
“I could see that… Y/N always looked so beautiful with Hazel in her belly.”
“So, so beautiful.” He agrees.
Danny giggles,” Okay you little freak stop thinking about how her tummy was all round and heavy and her tits all swollen.”
“What the fuck, that's not fair! I wasn't until you said something!”
A few beats pass, their giggling settling down,Danny speaks softly,” Maybe one day we could have another baby.”
Josh smiles, his eyes soft,” I know we're not ready yet, but I'd like that.” He reaches over, hand squeezing Danny's thigh,” I think she'd like that too.”
Once they got home they spent much of the morning relaxing, eating their coffee shop goodies, and just enjoying each other's company. Josh's eyes were getting heavy as he watched the rhythmic swaying of Hazel in her swing who was also falling asleep at the motion. Every time his eyes drooped his he was nudged awake by his love shifting against him, he could tell she was uncomfortable.
He leaned over kissing her temple,” Are you okay sweetie?”
She shifted again, her hand coming to her chest, pressing against it,” Um. Not really.”
Danny shifted on the couch, sitting up, her discomfort catching his attention,” What's wrong Lovie?”
She sighs, looking at the ceiling avoiding their eyes,” It's been bothering me for a day or two now .I-I think it's a clogged duct. I've tried everything they suggested online, and it still hurts. Everything except one of you helping me.”
Josh placed his hand on her shoulder,” Sweetheart look at me. You can ask us for anything, we'd do anything for you, don't be embarrassed . Especially if you're in pain. Come on, let me help you.”
Josh stood, grabbing her hand, leading her to their bedroom, Danny taking up the rear.
Danny's hands skirt down her arms,” Come, lay on me. Get comfortable.” He gets situated in the mass of pillows at the head of their large bed. She follows suit climbing up in between his legs, before laying back resting her head against his chest. His hands travel the expanse of her exposed skin, warming her up to touch trying to soothe her.
“Which one hurts?”
“The left,’ she mumbles, hand coming up to massage her skin.
Josh kneels on the bed, fingers touching the hem of her oversized tee shirt,” Want to keep this on or off?”
“Off please.” She said softly as Josh and Danny worked together to pull the shirt up over her head.
Josh's hands softly caress her skin, treasuring her,” So… what do I do?”
She melts back into Danny, and he kisses the top of her head. Josh can tell that she's a bit embarrassed,” The article said you suck hard and I'll be able to feel it when it releases.” Covering her face with her hands,”You might get some in your mouth…”
Her cheeks flame and she almost tells him to forget about it but it hurts too much and she's desperate for relief. Gently, Josh pulls her hands from her face,” That's okay, I just want you to feel better. I love you.”
Slowly Josh lowers himself down, his legs intertwined with theirs, his puffs of hot breath tickling her skin. His pink plush lips meet the skin of her sternum, giving her a few kisses before hovering his lips over her nipple. He places a featherlight kiss against the puckering skin. Closing his eyes he wraps his lips around her nipple giving it a suck.
“It's gotta be harder, like sucking a straw.”
He continues, applying harsher pressure. His head jolts back slightly when something sweet and inherently her floods his taste buds.Upon savoring her blood rushes to his groin and he starts to harden in his pants. He plans to continue to suckle until she tells him to stop, he opens his eyes, her head resting on Danny's shoulder relief painting her features. He locks eyes with his Danny, he's seen the look on his face plenty of times. He's turned on. Her knee pushes up, slotting between his legs, applying pressure against his stiffening cock. Josh groans, not expecting it to go this way. He keeps sucking, the way she tastes quickly becoming one of his favorite flavors. Detaching from her nipple she groans and he smiles. Licking the bead of milk that appears as he catches his breath. He latches once again, drinking her down.
Danny reaches down, his hand burying in Josh's curls pushing them back away from his face. He couldn't believe how quickly the scene before him turned more hot than helpful. He knew she could feel him hard against her ass, trying not to be obvious he gently pressed up into her trying to satisfy the ache.
She leans her head back more, kissing the sensitive skin of Danny's neck, hearing his breath hitch she asks,” You good baby?”
He softly clears his throat,” Yeah.. very good.”
Smiling into his neck,” I can tell”
Josh's moan graces his ears and he shivers, he wants relief so badly, but it's not about him right now. It's about her, making sure she feels better.
He peeks over her shoulder and sees Josh totally lost in her, his eyes closed, moans flowing from his mouth, his hips rocking into her knee.
“Love? Could I try?”
“Of course you can.”
She cups Josh's face in her hands,” Hold on baby, Danny wants to try.”
He pulls his head back, lips slick with spit and milk, swollen and pink. He looks delectable. Danny slides out from behind her, stifling a groan when his hard length drags across her skin. Positioning himself over her other breast, but before he can lean down Josh fists his hair, keeping his head back as he connects their lips. Danny immediately moans when he tastes something he doesn't recognize, knowing that it's her.
“Fuck”
Josh releases his hair, noting that his eyes are black with lust. Without hesitation he dips his head down, capturing her nipple in his mouth, sucking hard.
“Good boy Danny. That's it.” Josh grins, pleased that his partner is enjoying it too. He looks so beautiful with his eyes squeezed shut, mouth moving, gorgeous nose pressed into the supple flesh of her breast.
She reaches for Josh, tugging on him, bringing him back to her. Her hand in his hair,” Want you to drink too.”
His cock twitches, her words affecting him, as he does what she asks.
She shudders, wetness pooling between her legs. Now with both of them suckling she can't help but need to satiate the ache between her legs.
Breathlessly she requests,” Please, finger me together, I need it.”
Without another thought they bring their fingers to her entrance, Josh nudging his in first. Scissoring his fingers stretching them out for Danny.
Softly she moans,” More, please Danny I'm ready.”
Slowly Danny works his fingers in, alongside Josh's. His long fingers curl upwards and Josh's press down. It doesn't take him long to get lost in her, the way she feels and sounds, the way she tastes on his tongue. He thinks to himself that this might be the most erotic thing they've ever done, and they've done a lot. He finds her swollen clit with his thumb, rubbing soft circles over the puffy nub. Immediately she groans clenching around their fingers. He doesn't stop, he wants to get her there, he needs to make her unravel. His cock is pounding in his sweatpants, aching for relief and he's sure he's left a sizable wet spot on the front of them. Not remembering the last time he was this turned on.
Keeping their pace steady it doesn't take her long until the band in her stomach is about to snap. Grinding her hips against their hands she chases her high. One last swirl of Danny's thumb against her clit and she was coming undone, her walls spasming as waves of pleasure blanketed her body.
As she came back down, melting into the mattress they praised her. Kissing her breasts telling her how good she was, how beautiful she looks. Josh turns to Danny, his eyes looking heavy as he begs,” Please baby, let me suck your cock. I wanna taste you so bad.”
He feels another bead of precum form at his tip as Josh begs. He lays down next to her, quickly discarding his sweats as she curls up against him feeling soft and lovey after her orgasm. Swiftly Josh slides in between Danny's thighs as he peers down at his loves impressive cock. He wastes no time leaning down and taking him into his mouth, tongue swirling around his shaft.
“Fuck that feels so good!” He cranes his head back into the pillows, pulling his pretty girl closer to his side needing his hands to have something to ground himself to. His other hand threading itself into Josh's hair, pulling his head further down. His balls tighten when he gags around him. Holding his head there, Josh desperately tries to swallow around him, whining when another gag rips from his throat.
Danny snarls,” That's it baby, gag on it. Choke on my fat cock.”
After one more gag, and tears fall from his watering eyes, he releases his head letting him come back up for air. Grabbing his shaft he frantically tugs on himself, instructing Josh to hold out his tongue. Before he can even warn him that he's cumming he explodes, hot ropes spurting onto his outstretched tongue. Greedily Josh reattaches to his tip, sucking Danny's sweet orgasm into his mouth. His hips buck and a shiver runs down his spine as he sucks him dry, tonguing his slit to get every last drop. He suckles on his tip until Danny's body is shaking, completely overwhelmed. Popping off of him, he lets his cock fall back against his stomach with a soft thud.
“Fuck…,” Josh smiles lazily,” that's my new favorite thing, the way you both taste on my tongue, driving me fucking crazy.”
He crawls back in between her legs, kissing her body, nipping at her soft skin, he yanks his sweatpants down revealing his cock flushed red with neglect. He gives himself a few strokes attempting to satiate his need.
“ Lovie, can I?” His gaze falters and he avoids her eyes,’ Can I drink again? I um, I liked it maybe more than I should.”
She looks him in the eyes, and places her palm flat on Danny's skin to include him in what she's about to say," No baby, there's nothing to be ashamed of. We're all having a good time, and we all love each other. Expressing our wants and desires is normal and healthy. I love that we can explore new things together.”
Gently he lowers himself down again, getting situated over her body,” I am having fun. You both are having fun too right?”
Both of them agree, hands coming to stroke his body providing a comforting touch. She smiles at him, pulling him close,” Go ahead Joshy, have your fun.”
His lips envelope her nipple once again, sucking her down moaning when she hits his taste buds. His hips start grinding, rubbing his messy leaking cock against her thigh. Pushing and pulling his hips across her soft skin faster and faster as he drips out more clear liquid enabling the perfect glide.
Threading her fingers in his hair,” Are you gonna cum like this Joshy? I want you to.”
He groans around her nipple, grunting out an ‘uhhuh’ as his hips pick up speed. Something about the way she's taking over every one of his senses is quickly driving him to the brink. The bitter saltiness of Danny's pleasure mixing with the sweet nectar of her milk on his tongue is sending his primal urges into overdrive as he meets his final few thrusts. Crying out around her nipple as he pulses wildly, pumping out his load. Cumming more than he ever has before.
Her hands petting his hair back, soothing touch over his back, muttering soft praises telling him how good he is. He nuzzles his face into her chest as his breathing returns to normal.
His voice is quiet, muttering into her skin,” I love you.”
“I love you.”
Danny scoots in closer, nuzzling his face into her neck and intertwining his fingers with Joshs,” Wanna be close to you. ‘M so in love with the both of you.”
She reaches to kiss both of them deeply, sighing contently as she melts back into the pillows knowing everyone is safe and loved here.
Learning things about yourself and your partners is one of the coolest most precious things about being in a relationship. Finding things you and your partner enjoy is so special, embrace it with love.

Clockwork looked away from time for one second, a mere glance actually. Yet that was enough for things to go to shit.
Somehow, just, somehow his son managed to displace himself in time so bad that he ended up in an entire different dimensions timestream. How did that happen? Well he wouldn't know because he looked away for one observant damned second.
Clockwork is the Master of Time in the Infinite Realms and the main earth tied to it. But in that universe he's just a Master of Time, one of the stronger ones, obviously, but he doesn't have as much power as he does over here.
Hourman makes a very convincing case of why he shouldn't interfere.
Of course, he does want Danny back, but he also doesn't want to impose himself upon another master of time as that is considered rather rude.
So what does he do? Wake up the Ghost King who he knows adopted his son via combat, sign a quick oath of marriage (Which he's wanted to do for a very long time) and then send him out to go collect their child before he ends up fucking up the timestream in the worst case scenario.
Why the marriage oath, you make ask? It wasn't just because the Ghost of Time was in love on him for eons (though that was a major factor), it was also because (Headcanon stolen from mouzerequis but edited a wee bit) of a certain design of the Ghost Zone itself.
It spans over many dimensions, leading to multiple access doors to each and every different realm, magical or not. Thus, it has a very weird requirement of Authority. The Ghost King, Queen, and High Prince, two of either are its requirements.
No one knew why that was necessary, though Clock had a very clear and sneaking suspicion that it had to do with the weight of power and status distributed equally between the two or three. Being a royal recognized by the realms lets it siphon its power towards you, which can be a good thing but too much and it overwhelms you.
Such which happened to Pariah Dark, even more so with the power Crown and Ring. So, by doing this, the power being siphoned off by the zone would be shared equally between three vessels, leading to no overwhelming.
Technically they didn't need him, but he did say he was love so.
So, as first act of queen in the Ghost Zone he sends his newly acquired husband out to go fetch the High Prince.
Meanwhile, with Danny:
Did Danny know how he ended up in this predicament? No. Was it his fault? Maaaaayybe. Was he going to regret this? Probably not, no. Was he going to search for a way back home? Well, yes but also no.
There was an entire new world to explore, so of course he had to explore and bring back souvenirs!
At least, that was his plan before he got found by some guy who calls himself Constantine, fought, taken back to his house to be kept an eye on and then had otherworldly food thrown his way to keep him quiet.
Exactly in that order.
Of course he's gonna mess with the guy as said guy tries to figure out which dimension he's from exactly.

Day 4: Wander
Tw: Mention of character death, Unhealthy(?) coping mechanism
The Ghost Zone was incredibly vast. You could explore it for a thousand years and still find new places. It made sense why it was so big; almost every single person who had ever died, plus a few extra, called the Ghost Zone their home.
So Danny took it upon himself as a challenge to explore as much of the Ghost Zone. I mean, he has all the time in the world; why not use some of it to explore?
Through his travels, he visited everywhere. He attended a Women's Writers Convention, where he met Murasaki Shikibu, Mary Shelley, Jane Austen, Sappho, and more. He visited Mesopotamia and gave Gilgamesh a copy of the first volume of One Piece. He called Napoleon short. He played with Laika and asked her what she thinks of space. He met Hector of Troy, who talked about the reason he fights: to protect those he loves. He found Asgard and played a prank on Loki.
As he was traveling to the next location, where or whenever that might be, he saw a figure approach from behind him.
It was Vlad with the Infi-Map. He looks tired.
“Daniel-”
“Don’t,” he doesn’t want to have this conversation.
“I am not here to talk to you about them; I know you’re not ready for that. I just want you to know that my door is always open for you when you are,” Vlad said, as if in the time in which Danny had left he had managed to grow a heart. “And I know I am probably the last person you’d like to hear that from, and I get it, but I still want you to know that you will always have a place to come back to.”
“…Thank you, Vlad.”
“Don’t mention it.” Vlad smiled kindly in a way that could have been seen as genuine if Danny was feeling a little less pessimistic and left.
After Vlad left, Danny stayed there for a second, not moving, not breathing, not thinking, before he turned around and went to find something new to distract him.

The Pledge
Danny crept through the window of the old house. It used to be a sorority house ages ago. Nobody remembers, or will say, what happened there, but it closed and was boarded up. Everyone said it was haunted. There were rumours of people going inside and never returning. Danny was determined. Being small and shy he mostly kept to himself. He wanted to get into one of the fraternities at his college, in the hopes that it would help with his self esteem, maybe even make him popular. The task was simple. Go inside, and return with something to prove he had been inside.
Tumblr media
As he began his exploration the window slammed shut, trapping him inside.
As he wandered through the house, he thought he heard voices. Whispers. Some were unintelligible, but others were clear.
“This is the one”, “Finally the curse will be lifted”, “We will be complete again”
As he crept through the darkened house he found a door. As he entered he found a room full of the fullest, silkiest dresses he’d ever seen.
Tumblr media
The voices continued. “She’s here. She’s finally here” “our sisterhood is complete” Danny tried to make sense of it but he just ended up more confused. Walking through the house, he found many rooms filled with dresses. As he entered one, suddenly he felt very strange. His clothing started to change, the denim and cotton turning to satin.
Tumblr media
He ran to another room. Another room full of dresses. “How many rooms are in this house” he thought. The changes continued. His pants shortened into satin shorts with lace and bows. “What is happening” he cried out. He didn’t expect a response and was shocked when he got one. “You’re finally here, we are complete”
Tumblr media
“I have to get out of here” he thought. Running to yet another room, the changes continued. His clothes changed again, growing more full as his hair grew longer. His features started changing too. His face softening his hips and chest swelling. “You’re finally home Danni, welcome!”
Tumblr media
Danni ran out of the room into a hallway and froze as he saw his reflection in the large mirror at the end of the hall. “Im a… is that me? Shocked at his reflection he turned and ran into another hallway.
Tumblr media
She encountered a group of women. All dressed as she was. In beautiful satin dresses with lots of bows and crinolines. The women spoke to her. “Welcome Danni. You are now part of the sorority. We are complete” we will have so much fun together.”
Tumblr media
Complete. One of us. Welcome. Danni felt calmed by their words. Happy even. She was accepted. She smiled as she realized that this was where she was meant to be.
Tumblr media
“The curse has finally been lifted” said the other women. Danni soon felt at home in her new sorority. Everything changed on campus. Nobody remembered Danny or the supposedly haunted sorority house. All they knew was the sorority with the pretty girls who always wore super pretty dresses and they all knew Danni. The new girl who became so popular around the college. Always smiling on her way to cosmetology , art or fashion design classes, which she excelled at. She was finally who she needed to be.

Instant Eternity Pt. 2
So, Danny has the infi-map and uses it to go on vacations and the like to enjoy his now eternal life. The infinite realms are Infinite, really and truly. But locations within the realms correlate to spaces in the “real” world, so what happens when you travel beyond what should be the ends of the “real” universe in the realms? You find other universes. All universes, realities, multi and Omni verses connect with the Infinite Realms, hence the name kind of implying the existence of infinite realms. With the infimap Danny’s able to visit and explore these other planes of existence to his hearts content, and over the course of his travels makes a number of close friends.
He can’t just say goodbye forever, can’t leave them with no way to call for aid or call for small talk so, he comes up with a bit of a crazy plan to make sure all his new friends can meet each other and stay in contact. A combination of the infi-map, Fenton portal technology, time medallions/assistance from clockwork, help from the yeti’s and maybe even some help from Dr. Strange or Dr. Fate all come together to make a private club that connects to who knows how many dimensions. In a Ghost King AU his royal palace has all the normal palace stuff but surrounding Phantom’s Keep is a whole town for inter-dimensional travelers. The portals themselves are all in a massive tower, either leaning tower of Pisa style or a massive clock tower because of how much Clockwork helped out, arranged kind of like how all the statues of the avatars are arranged in the air temple in ATLA.
Danny’s sitting at his desk in his office while 7 Gokus, 13 Vegitas, 4 Beeruses(Beerusi? A pod of Beerus? Flock?) 10 Piccolos and 1 Gohan crowd the rest of his office. “Two Hundred and Forty. 2-4-fucking-0. That is the number of of Territories that have lodged official complaints about the ruckus your fights have been causing! Queen Patet sent a fifty seven page long letter asking me to give every single one of your dimensions eternal travel bans to all of your dimensions and every dimension where even one of you exist. Because the shockwaves from your fights were still strong enough to shatter glass when they reached her Territory. The territory of Vitrum, which makes Fucking Everything from glass! Including the Goddamn Buildings! They build their cities in massive glass orbs! More than thirteen hundred buildings torn down in one day. Including every single hospital they had. You fought for nine days straight. Get out. Get the crap baskets out of my office. Now. Go home. Let the Bulmas know that they’re paying the reparations.” They all file out of the office, Vegitas and the flock of Beerus mumbling about how they shouldn’t have made their buildings out of glass if they didn’t want them to get broken. The one(1) brain cell the group had, otherwise known as Gohan, was apparently the only one with manners, profusely apologizing and offering to help with the clean up even as he got shooed out of the office.
More then a dozen Quirckless!Izuku vigilantes come together to form a great big club to share intel that match’s across their various worlds, analyze quirks, train and give each other therapy. It’s all going well. Then the Batmen stop developing contingency plans for literally all the beings they meet here juuust long enough for their adoption senses to start tingling. The Dad Mights, Dadzawas and Dad for Ones put aside their differences to combat this new threat. The Spider-men are sitting in a corner grateful that their spider senses and Peter tingles helped them avoid all that nonsense. Until the Iron Dads show up. Then they’re all to busy running and cursing their Parker luck to be grateful.
Passing through a gateway to another universe that isn’t yours require approval from no less then half the visitors from that verse and/or Danny himself. Same thing goes for leaving the compound to explore the Realms.
All the adoption addicts from across the multiverse take one look at Danny, listen to all the rumors about his parents and go “Mine!”. Luckily for Danny he doesn’t really have to to worry to much, doesn’t even notice really, because 2.3 seconds after they did that they all turned to each other and went “No! Not yours, Mine!” The infighting has kept them busy ever sense. However, according to an ancient, sacred prophecy(something that Clockwork mentioned in passing 2 months ago) they will eventually all decide that Danny having a proper support network is more important then who his favorite supporter is. So he’s going to get parented so hard by all three hundred and eighty of them. More moms, dads, ma’s, pa’s aunts and uncles then he’ll know what to do with.
