"so anyway Dann-o, we were working on our portal to Hell—"
"your what."
"Portal to Hell, Danny. You know, like the ghost portal? But anyway, we were working on it but then something went weird and it opened up prematurely. Looks strange too; more like a glowing tear than a proper portal. The other side just looked like just a regular fancy building when we poked a camera through on a stick. Except the other sensors gave back really weird readings. Especially around these odd star pattern decorations. Can you send a duplicate through to take a closer look?"
"...yeah, sure, alright."
After finding out about Danny’s half-ghost nature and that ghosts aren’t inherently evil, Jack and Maddie start to look into why lots of people had been saying ghosts were like that.
And they find out it was due to a mix-up in the identification of death-related entities. The actually evil ones were demons!
So they decide to shift their focus a bit. Sure, they’re still absolutely going to research ghosts (though now in a nonviolent way), but they’re not gonna just throw away years of experience making weapons to hunt supernatural entities!
Thus begins the exploits of the newly refocused FentonWorks Demon Hunters.
…and a growing headache in the minds of every other magic user.
Especially John Constantine. Why the hell did he accept the job of looking into the new tech entering the market?
#this is meant to be the men of letters bunker since that sounds like a suitably notable magic-y location from the series#but like idk much about supernatural i'm just basing this off the wiki and random snippets of knowledge i've gained through osmosis#oh also supernatural has multiverse stuff?? i knew about the apocalypse timeline from a fic but i assumed that was like a “what if” scenari#but no the wiki mentions people actually going through rifts to different universes?? wack.#dp x spn#dp x supernatural#superphantom#danny phantom x supernatural#danny phantom x supernatural crossover

Left and Returned: Definitely Nothing Wrong
Danny Phantom x Supernatural Crossover
Part 2
Ao3
Chapter 3
After the angel heckling, Danny stuck around for the initial explanations. But as the explanations moved from recounting the events into... theological debate... yeah, Danny bailed on that. Look after winning fistfights with a certain amount of beings who claim to be gods, it's hard to be reasonable about that stuff. Danny's opinions on the afterlife are not super helpful to people who aren't living in ectoplasm rich environments.
For now he has a job to do. His ghost sense goes off before he opens the door. So he's not surprised to find the electronics are as fried as you'd expect after a being with the power to cause electrical surges spent a few months running around in it. At least his carbon monoxide detector stays silent.
Little fun fact: carbon monoxide makes spirits restless. Restless spirits cause electrical surges. Continued electrical surges, cause long term electrical fires. If you have the first problem, getting the other two problems becomes a lot more likely.
Less fun fact: Danny has never met a hunter who knows this.
How many hunters have died of carbon monoxide poisoning while they huddled in a salt circle to avoid the angry dead? How many HVAC guys have gotten possessed or murdered? How many people get lucky enough to have both problems sorted only to have something start on fire?
It's a whole thing. Yes, he gives this rant to every hunter he encounters. Hopefully, it sticks with at least some of them. Sam had said he'd do it. Bobby had pulled them over at the nearest hardware store and bought three detectors.
At least he knows it sunk in for someone.
But here the air is clean and normal and smells a little like ectoplasm. He's able to talk down the ghost without the thermos, but she has an electrical core, and he can't replace this much wiring in the time he has. He shows the owner, shuts down the power to the rooms that absolutely will start a fire and gives her some reputable local contacts. It's not ideal, it rarely is. But both the house's owner and the ghost know what they need to do to keep surviving and that's better than things were this morning.
He wishes it felt like victory.
He eats, takes a nap in the back of his van, and when he wakes up he's missed a dozen calls.
Someone is killing hunters. Of course there is.
He forwards the message to Jazz, Sam, Tucker, Valerie, and Wes, in case he's gotten mixed up in something new. They all check in. They all mention ghosts behaving... oddly. They agree they have it handled. Jazz asks about Sam.
Danny calls the Winchesters. They don't pick up.
---
Regret coils as Dean realizes who's ghost stands before him. He understands exactly why so many friends fell to this, stepping out of reach as she swings at his face. It's hard to do, she has every right to hit him, it's his fault she's dead.
That is why she is here. She's here to get her revenge, and he doesn't even know if the name he knows is her real one.
"It's okay, I'm not a demon."
"You're the girl the demon possessed."
"Meg Masters. Nice to finally talk to you when I'm not, you know, choking on my own blood. It's okay. Seriously, I'm just a college girl. Sorry — was. I was walking home one night and got jumped by all this smoke. Next thing you know, I'm a prisoner... Now, I was awake. I had to watch while she murdered people."
"I'm sorry."
"Oh, yeah? So sorry you had me thrown off a building?"
"Well, we thought— "
She shoves him, not with the strength of a girl puppeted by a demon, not with the strength of a ghost. She shoves him with the strength of a young woman who never lifts more than her college books. That's why he stumbles to the ground. "No, you didn't think! I kept waiting, praying! I was trapped in there screaming at you! 'Just help me, please!' You're supposed to help people, Dean. Why didn't you help me? "
"I'm sorry. "
"Stop saying you're sorry!" She approaches quick, ready to kick him. He's going to let her too, but the blow doesn't come.
She screams in fury as she's lifted by her waist. "Do you have any idea what it's like to be ridden for months by pure evil?! While your family has no idea what happened to you?!"
Danny holds her arms, stopping her from continuing her assault.
Meg continues, "It wasn't just me, I had a sister. A little sister. You know how little siblings are, right? How they depend on you. She was never the Same after I disappeared. She just... she just got lost. And when my body was lying in the morgue beat-up and broken..."
She stops struggling, going limp as she tries to continue.
"Say what you need to say, we're listening." Danny tells her.
"She killed herself, she needed me and I wasn't there." Tears pool in her eyes. "All he was thinking about was his family, his revenge, his demons! 50 words of Latin a little sooner, and I—
She chokes on her sobs, "and I'd still be alive. My baby sister might still be alive."
Kid holds her up as she crys. Wet, gross, snotty crying, not like the pretty tears on TV. Kid whispers comforting things and lets her shout accusing things at Dean until she cries herself out.
"Do you remember your door?" He asks her when her breathing's evened.
"Yeah... it's blue, has some stickers..." she murmurs. And Danny gestures to the door across from them, which does not match Bobby's decor.
"Go home, Meg. Go rest." She reaches for the handle ugly brand on her hand turning green and vanishing as she turns it. As the door closes behind her, it's Bobby's door again.
"Dean!" Sam's voice echos from downstairs.
"Here!" Dean responds, grabbing the kid and pulling him after him as he goes to find his brother. "The symbol on her hand, you recognized it?"
"They have no right." Danny snarls.
"I'm gonna take that as a yes."
"What symbol?" Bobby asks, and he looks pretty okay for a guy who went missing when all the other people who went missing had their hearts ripped out. Sam scrambles to draw it for him.
The kid starts to pace the room. "They were at peace . This didn't call the restless dead, it woke the sleeping. They had. No. Right."
"The mark of the witness? " Bobby asks, "I'd have to double check."
"That's a name for it." The kid really sounds completely different when he's this mad.
"Follow me."
---
"...coated in salt, 100% ghost proof."
Dean watches the kid stumble across the threshold. He'd miss it if he wasn't looking for it. Yesterday, Danny had been wearing his pain on his face for all to see, it made it easier to look past it now. But Dean had seen his dad wear that expression, seen it on his brother, hell, he'd worn it himself a thousand times— Danny was in pain, but determined to push past it. He'd been fine a minute ago. Bobby's bunker was hurting him.
And Dean didn't say a word about it.
Kid had grabbed a ghost, picked her up and sent her home with nothing but himself and some words. Dean didn't know of anything that could do that. He did know that there was a chance Danny had saved him from getting his heart ripped out. Dean probably would've thought of something, but still. He wasn’t gonna kick the kid while he was down, definitely not while he was as determined to stop this as they were.
For what it's worth, he has no issue prepping rock salt for the shotguns as Bobby pages through the book, the silence is enough time for Dean's mind to wander back to earlier.
"See this is why I can't get behind God." Dean tells them.
Sam sighs.
"Still debating theology?" Danny asks.
"If he doesn't exist, fine. Bad crap happens to good people. That's how it is. There's no rhyme or reason — just random, horrible, evil — I get it, okay. I can roll with that. But if he is out there, what's wrong with him? Where the hell is he while all these decent people are getting torn to shreds? How does he live with himself? You know, why doesn't he help?"
"This is really bothering you."
"It's not bothering you?"
"What I asked Castiel, it was a genuine question."
"What?" Sam asked, they hadn't relayed the amount of angel-poking they'd done.
"He said he was an angel of the Lord. I asked which lord."
"I mean, if he's an angel then he meant God." Sam pointed out.
Danny shrugged. "You've fought gods before. You've told me."
"Pagan gods, Not God."
"I fought a Stormbringer once. When it angered it formed a lightning storm over half the continent. One minute there were clear skies, the next hail like golf balls, tornadoes, floods."
"That freak storm?! That was years ago, boy, how old were you?"
"Fourteen. That's not the point. The point is, that the people who summoned him called him God's wrath, but he called himself Vortex, among other things..." Danny quiets, lost in the memory for a moment. Then he starts back in on the salt rounds, packing them with increased efficiency.
"It was barely an effort for him to bring the country to its knees, and it wasn’t a human who defeated him, when it came down to it." Dean notes the careful phrasing. "I've seen a lot of weird. I think that if Castiel's Lord is the god you're worried about, then he's probably worried about the things strong enough to fight him."
"Danny," Sam says, "that makes this whole thing a lot less reassuring."
"Yeah, that's freaking terrifying, kid."
Danny fits the last of his salt rounds into a bandolier and drops it on the table with a clatter. He grins. "I can make it worse if you want?"
"Let's not, for now. You're right about the mark." Bobby announces. "They witnessed the unnatural. None of them died what you'd call ordinary deaths. See, these ghosts— they were forced to rise. They woke up in agony. They were like rabid dogs. It ain't their fault. Someone Rose them... on purpose."
"Who?" Sam asks.
"Do I look like I know? But whoever it was used a spell so powerful it left a mark, a brand on their souls. Whoever did this had big plans—"
"Is there a way to find out?" Danny asked, the murder back in his eyes. They weren't turning colors this time though, they stayed normal human blue.
"Not that I have here, and we have bigger problems. It's called "the rising of the witnesses." It figures into an ancient prophecy."
"Wait, wait. What kind of prophecy?
"Revelations kind. This is a sign, boys."
"A sign of what?"
"The apocalypse."
"Apocalypse? The apocalypse, apocalypse? The four horsemen, pestilence, $5-a-gallon-gas apocalypse?"
"That's the one. The rise of the witnesses is a -- a mile marker."
"Okay, so, what do we do now?" Sam asks.
"Road trip. Grand Canyon, Star Trek Experience—"
"Can we focus?! We find a way to send them to the keeper of tales so they're story will be heard and they can be appeased."
"Well, I don't know about all of that... but I've got a spell it just says it will put them back to rest... if I've translate—"
Danny is out of his seat and looking over the book before Bobby could finish.
"—ed it correctly..." he pushes the book so the kid can get a better look.
Dean raises his eyebrows at Bobby, but he's too busy watching the kid to acknowledge.
"This is really old." Danny mutters, "Some names are out of date, but it mentions the roll they fill in the spell so it should work."
"Names out of date... you know better ones, for... the ancient spell?"Dean asks.
He didn't expect the kid to say, "yeah," and pick up a pen.
"Subject matter expert does the spell," Bobby offers, okay. So, Dean missed something, since when does Bobby hand off this stuff? Since when is Danny the 'subject matter expert?'
"I can... or... look, once we start, all the witnesses who haven't been appeased are going to be compelled to stop us. I can add a clause at the beginning, draw them off while you finish the spell."
"I don't know..."
"I'll go with you." Sam volunteers.
"Are we sure we should split up?" Dean asks.
"You'll have a better chance to complete it if you aren't being swarmed by angry ghosts." Sam points out.
"Maybe we should be the bait," Dean suggested, "Both of you know the spell and can troubleshoot if there's problems, Sam and I can't help that."
"Do you know your true names?"
"What?"
"Do you know the name that encompasses all that you are? And can you write it in a way that covers it but prevents it from being stolen."
Dean turns to stare at him, he doesn't look up from the book.
"If you can, then sure, if not, then we really shouldn't make those bargains and we don't have time for that."
"Is this related to how you're older than you are?" Dean asks, because he was starting to think Danny hadn't actually been delirious after the seance.
"Yeah."
"You gonna explain that?" Bobby asks.
"There was a summer that didn't happen, and some time travel."
"Time travel." Dean repeated.
"Oh, yeah, I think I'm older than I am too..." Sam realizes.
"That doesn't—"
"Remember the timeloop, Dean? I know you don't remember the six months after the timeloop in the timeline where the Trickster refused to let you live."
"What?!"
"I'm done modifying the spell." Danny said firmly postponing a conversation Dean will be having with his brother.
---
Once the fire is started, Bobby burns the paper with Danny's sigils and begins the spell. Dean follows orders, he gathers materials from the near-empty house. Nothing bothers him. He doesn't need the shotgun or the iron fire poker. The spell takes three minutes.
It's another five before Sam and his friend return. They're battered and dirty, but they're alive and they have no serious injuries.
Bobby makes dinner.
They try to help but get kicked out of the kitchen after all the chopping is done.
Sam doesn't tell him about whatever he saw. Dean wonders if he knows what's up with Danny and just won't tell him.
Dinner is hearty and they dont talk because they're too busy eating.
It's been a long day. Yesterday was long too.
Questions can wait till after they sleep, and Dean really wants to sleep.
It's a shame the angel doesn't want him too.

Bunker in White
Danny Phantom x Supernatural Crossover
Masterpost
DP Crossover Angst Week Day 1 - GIW Experimentation
Summary: Sam and Dean take up a job to go investigate a government base that had been attacked by vampires.
Warnings: vague descriptions of blood and gore
Notes: hmmm, I have never written anything for Supernatural before, but I've seen a good portion of it (years ago). Probably takes place earlier in the show.
Word Count: 2044
AO3 Link
Sam and Dean had gotten this particular lead from Bobby, who in turn got it passed onto him from someone else, so it wasn’t a surprise this particular job was a mess.
Apparently, a group of vampire’s had decided a weird, underground, government bunker would be the perfect hideout, resulting in a bloodbath between the government goons and the vamps. It was a large group too, which was a point of concern among the hunter’s who turned down the job. No one really knew who’d won inside between the vampires and the government, but Dean had placed his money on the vampires. He honestly doubted that some government agency with an obsession for the color white had any idea what they were up against, much less the correct tools for the job. Dean got proved wrong when they came across the first dead vampire.
The bunker’s fluorescent lights were harsh against the darkness outside. The entire base still seemed to have power despite not being connected to any sort of power grid or system. It had made it an absolute pain in the ass to find, but at least that meant Sam and Dean didn’t have to wander around in the dark. The harsh lighting and bleached interior revealed a slaughter inside, staining the white walls with both vampire and human blood, leaving very little to imagination. The humans, all agents in once-white suits, looked to have been mauled by the vamps, while the dead vampires had holes blasted through them and were covered in green-tinged burns. Dean kicked one, trying to make sure it was actually dead. Yep, dead vamp, the whole place unfortunately smelled like it too.
Sam had found one of the more physically intact agents with a large bazooka-like weapon next to him at the back of the hallway. Rummaging through the agency's pocket’s Sam tossed the ID card over for Dean to read over, while Sam picked up the weapon.
Dean flipped open the wallet, and huffed when the agent was only referred to by a letter and position. No personal information whatsoever.
“This asshole is apparently ‘Agent B, senior heavy weapon specialist of the Ghost Investigation Ward’, which means shit to me,” Dean complained.
“‘Ghost Investigation Ward’? Is that supposed to be some sort of knockoff hunter’s group? Because points for vampire killing, less points for dying,” Sam added. “Either way, they were messing around with something supernatural, and had weapons that could blast straight through a vampire. Think we could find something here?”
Dean shrugged, “I’m down to take their weapons at the least. New tactics are always appreciated.”
Sam took the bazooka, and Dean picked up any other weapons of interest, from weighted nets, to more guns, storing them in piles to collect and ferry to the car later. The ID got them access to a couple more rooms, including a security camera and file room, which Sam said he was going back to later. The deeper they descended into the base, the more spaced out the bodies were, and the more violently the agents had seemed to fight, like they were protecting something.
“Do you think they actually managed to catch a ghost here?” Sam tossed out.
Dean snorted, “Doubt it. Sure, you can blast a hole through a vamp, but you can’t blast a hole through a ghost. Just trapping one is a pain, let alone moving it to the middle of bumfuck nowhere, Illinois.
Hydraulic doors hissed as the brothers entered the next level, only to pause from the sudden change in pattern. This one opened up into a laboratory, partitioned off by thick glass walls, rather than the collection of offices and storage the upper floors had been.
Dean’s eyes narrowed at the carnage inside the laboratories.
“What the hell were they taking apart that bleed fucking green?” Dean cursed.
Dean completely ignored the bodies of who he assumed had been the scientists. There were tons of vials of various liquids, most of them being that same saturated, radioactive green. There were also jars, lots of jars, of what he assumed were the bits and pieces of whatever creature bled green.
“Doesn’t look like whatever they were dissecting was dead while they were taking apart,” Sam commented, pointing out the restraints on the bloodied autopsy table.
“Fuck, that’s sick. At least kill whatever you're taking apart first.”
Dean watched as Sam went over to a stack of papers, filing through them quickly with a grimace on his face.
“Well, they seem to believe they caught a ghost, at least. They definitely caught something before the vampires wiped them out. The reports refer to it as Subject P-1.”
“Think it’s still here?” Dean asked.
“Maybe. This report is a few days old, and we know the vampires attacked within that same time frame, so it’s possible that ‘P-1’ is either still here, dead here, or managed to escape in the crossfire,” Sam guessed.
“I suppose we’ll find out. We only got one more level to go.”
Dean left the lab, going down the elevator to the last level. There was nothing there, except for a singular glass cell with what looked like a blast door as its entrance, all shining with some sort of green energy. There seemed to be automated weapons and cameras all pointing at the cell, and Dean considered it a bit extreme. But also down there was the biggest collection of dead vampires they had found so far.
The weapons in the room had obviously activated for whatever reason, considering the number of vampires with holes blown through them compared to the agents, of which there only seemed to be two, who looked more like they had also been caught in the crossfire of the weapons, rather than becoming vampire food like most of the guys upstairs.
“Dean…” Sam shoved him, and pointed to the cell. There was…something inside.
Dean walked over, shoving bodies out of the way with his foot to stand in front of the cell. The green… whatever it was, shone along the glass and hummed with energy, reminding Dean vaguely of an electrified fence. The inside of the cell was a mess but in a different way than outside. It reminded Dean of a few of the cells he had seen monsters hold people in before. It was dirty, and covered in blood, both red and that unknown green. There was no cot, or toilet, or any other sort of accommodation.
The only thing in the cell was a small figure, dressed in nothing but tattered scrubs, and covered in its own blood balled up in the corner, head between its legs. Dean could only make out pale, emancipated legs and feet, and a mess of matted, black hair.
“Is it alive?” Dean asked, tapping on the glass, which surprisingly didn’t zapped him.
Sam had a grimace on his face. “I…think.”
“Hey!” Dean shouted.
No reaction.
Dean pounded more heavily on the glass with his fist, “Hey! Are you alive?”
No reaction.
“Are you P-1?” Sam asked instead.
This got a reaction. The figure picked up their head, placing empty, hollow, and frighteningly blue eyes on Sam. They seemed to be a young boy, face pale and thin, deep bags under his eyes. His eyes were glassy and distant, looking through Sam rather than at him.
“Well, that’s unnerving,” Dean muttered, giving Sam a look before shoving his shoulder. “Tell him to do something else.”
Sam frowned, thinking for a moment before saying anything. “P-1, state your status,” Sam commanded.
The boy, P-1, remained silent.
“I don’t think it talks, Sammy,” Dean snorted.
Sam sputtered indignantly. “What do you want me to do then? We know he’s P-1 now, and that he’s still somehow alive.”
“Well, we know he ain’t human, and that he’s whatever these goons have been picking apart. No clue what he is, but in that state, I doubt he can do much. The lights are one but no one seems to be home, Sammy,” Dean said.
It was a harsh suggestion but, “We could just put him down and be done with it. The vamps are all dead, there’s nothing here except braindead P-1 over there.”
Sam, apparently, very much disagreed with that idea. “He’s a kid, Dean! And he’s been tortured for who knows how long. We’re not putting him down!”
Dean groaned. “Do you want to take him with us or something?!” Dean asked incredulously.
Sam was silent, apparently thinking over the idea like it was a legitimate suggestion.
“No,” Dean immediately denied. “Nope, no way, Sammy. We’re not adopting whatever-the-fuck that kid is. He’s not a dog. We have no idea what he’s capable of, let alone if he’s dangerous!”
“Then we keep an eye on him! You said it yourself, in that state, I doubt he can barely move. We could even put him in Bobby’s panic room if he acts up, but honestly,” Sam glanced over to the boy, “I doubt he would even notice.”
Dean hated the idea. He didn’t want the kid to potentially go ballistic, and there had to be some reason he was locked up in the first place. But he couldn’t think of any other reasons to leave the kid there. If anything, they could figure out what the kid was so that they knew how to defeat anything like him in the future.
“Fine!” Dean relented. “But you’re taking care of him.”
Sam seemed to untense and turned back to the boy. “P-1, move to the door,” he ordered, before more quietly adding, “We’re getting you out of here, kid.”
The boy stood up, swaying on his legs, before approaching the door, standing just outside of it. Dean watched as Sam fidgeted with the door, before eventually having to pull another ID from one of the nearby agents to get the door open. Sam led the kid out, who didn’t have much of a reaction at all. Dean frowned at how small the kid was, now that he could get a better estimate literally standing next to him. He couldn’t be older than 12.
“Okay, we’re leaving. We got some cool things and you’ve adopted a weird kid. We can confirm the vampires all died here too. Anything else we need to grab before we go back?” Dean huffed.
“I’m going to see what I can pull from the record room on the way back. Could you take him back to the car?” Sam asked.
Dean looked at the kid again. Yep. No one home at all. He doubted the kid even knew what was going on. At least he wouldn’t complain about Dean’s music choices.
“Fine, but you take too long and I’m leaving your ass here,” Dean stated. “Come-on, P-1.”
Dean took the elevator back up the entrance, still careful to check around if they had missed anything still-alive, only to have silence. The kid barely made any noise as he moved, Dean decided he didn’t like that after the third time he jumped at the kid standing directly behind him.
“I’m getting you a bell,” he grumbled.
Back at the car, Dean tossed his looted weapons into the trunk, glancing at the kid before rummaging into his and Sam’s duffles for some spare clothes. It looked really suspicious to have a bloodied kid in a medical gown walking around. It would be oversized, but Dean grabbed a flannel, jeans, and a belt. Bobby would probably have something from when he and Sam were that small.
“Hey, kid, P-1, put these on,” Dean held the clothes out to the kid, who didn’t react.
Dean groaned. “Oh come on! This is why Sam’s your caretaker. I don’t know how to dress a kid!”
Dean approached. “Gotta fucking command him like a dog,” he muttered. “P-1, arms up.”
The boy raised his arms, and Dean untied the medical gown letting it fall to the ground. Dean froze, bile building in the back of his throat, fighting the urge to throw up. Images of the jars and vials passed behind his eyes. No wonder the kid was mentally gone, Dean couldn’t see anyone surviving, let alone living long enough to walk out.
God, they needed to get the kid to Bobby.

dp x dc prompt #67
constantine really should have started using the yearly family reunions to get out of league meetings more often. it’s a little odd watching the people he’d grown apart from wander around talking about the goings-on since they’ve seen each other while he hovers in the corner smoking a cigarette, but beggars can’t be choosers and this definitely beats the alternative.
at least until his estranged stepsister and her husband start raving about their plans to capture and vivisect a ghost, and then start casually chatting about what can’t be anything other that plans to destroy the dimension that holds the fabric of reality together.
maybe he should have just gone to the bloody meeting, because now he’s obligated to either deal with this himself or tell the justice league about it. at least his niece and nephew are willing to help him out.

DP x DC Nobody Expects the Ghost Mafia
All things considered, Gotham has surprisingly few ghosts. It has its fair share, without a doubt, but for the sheer amount of violent deaths and curses hanging about the place there should be MORE. Now, that begs the question, why are there comparatively so few ghosts?
The ghosts of Gotham are Gothamites through and through. They’re tough, angry, unpleasant, and almost certainly were involved in organized crime. On top of that Gotham ghosts are highly territorial. They aren’t a fan of outsiders. and even within Gotham groups of ghosts have established their own territories. In other words?
Ghost Mafia
That’s right, Gotham has an oddly low level of spirits because anyone with any sense noped right out of there and decided to enjoy their afterlife somewhere else. Any outsider ghost that wanted to muscle in has quickly been pushed right back out by the various gangs of ghosts.
So Danny moved there.
Danny fully expected to get his ass beat, but somehow he managed to get a meeting with representatives of almost all the ghost gangs in Gotham. It took some convincing, but after a while most of the ghosts came to an agreement to let Danny stay. Just as long as he followed some simple rules, they wouldn’t show him why you don’t mess with the ghost mafia. The one group that didn’t agree? Well, the Arkham ghosts wouldn’t be too much of a problem as long as he could avoid the place

Danny moves to Gotham and makes a deal with the various gangs of ghosts. Now he just has to avoid crossing them, avoid the Arkham ghosts entirely, and try not to get dragged into anything by the Bats that seem to be crawling around him. Should be easy. NOT.

Prompt 166
So Danny is going to blame this on Vlad. Everything was going great, his parents had accepted him, Ellie is home for a while as was Jazz, Vlad was going to ghost-therapy along with Jordan to both get over apparently very bad obsession-sickness, and it was finally summer break! Which meant camping, and no ghost stuff for the first time in forever.
He should have known everything was going too well, because that’s just the Fenton luck isn’t it? So he was going to blame this entire thing on Vlad, even if it might maybe be his own fault just a little bit. But how was he supposed to know the glowing rock formation that looked sort of like a portal was actually going to do something?!
Urgh, he’s not going to deal with dimension travel, he already has to deal with time bullshit thanks to his peepaw! At least they’re all in this together and haven’t gotten separated? Ugh. This is going to be annoying.

Almost finished reading Dungeon Meshi and I got an idea
So in Dungeon Meshi or Delicious in Dungeon, there are these... dungeons.
And from what I have gathered dungeons can be made naturally or artificially but both types have the same few things in common.
They are made to contain demons
They attract adventures
The dungeons have lords who manage/control the dungeon and are given the power to do so by the demons
I know that I'm skimming over some important bits, but long story short, the demons come from an alternate dimension called 'The Infinite Realm' and feed off of people's desires, the Lord of the Dungeon's specifically.
That being said... (incoming dp x dc prompt)
Beings from the Infinite Realms aren't ghosts but demons. And while they do still have obsessions, they lack desires. And so, they've become something they hunger for.
Danny learns this the hard way when he accidentally eats his parents' desire to hunt 'ghosts'.
When the endless, all-consuming hunger, that had been growing inside himself became just a bit satisfied by the action, he got scared. He ran to Clockwork, who immediately explained everything to him.
From there he became terrified. He didn't want to eat people's desires, especially considering that he had some of his own. But CW explained that while other demons will most likely never be satisfied no matter how many desires they consume, because of Danny's halfa status he may be able to. (Also it would be a bad thing if the baby starves itself. No one wants the baby to starve!)
To test out this theory, CW pulls (more than) a couple of strings, and soon his dungeon was set up in Gotham City in the DC universe.
He felt a bit bad since he had to set up shop in another ghost's/demon's territory, but Lady Gotham seemed to have taken a liking to him.
Danny takes his time searching for the most desperate person he can find, (Lady Gotham is leading him to some of the most desperate people in her city, aka the Batfam.), and appears to one of them as a fawn (signifying his hunger and current 'lack' of power). He then looks deep into their mind and offers them the power to fulfill all their desires.
The Batfam? They should be better than this, but damn they were in a tight spot and the city is going to shit because the rouges have been more active than ever, and their family is on the verge of crumbling!... And the answer to fix it all was right there, just within their reach.
They held the fawn in their arms gently. Its ivory wings, coat of starlight, and piercing Lazurus green eyes. Gotham began to change.
A few years later, some members of the JL and the JLD are once again trying their hand at clearing the dungeon but are a bit discouraged because last time their team was wiped out completely.
It was inconvenient how their powers were nullified whenever they were inside the dungeon, but they had yet to find a spell to counteract it.
In an attempt to get past the third floor, they teamed with a team called Team Phantom, which comprised two young adult siblings, their 12-year-old sister, and a few teenagers.
Morally, they were against this. No one this young should be trying to clear the dungeon! But on the other hand, this team was the closest to getting to the fourth floor.
Sucking it up, they teamed up with the young dungeon dwellers and quickly found out why they were so close to getting to the third floor.
These kids were skilled. These kids were powerful. These kids were trained. On top of that, they didn't care about their lives! Because these kids? They wouldn't- no! They couldn't die, and they were using it to their advantage.
The JL/JLD now had much more to worry about than clearing the dungeon.

Danny Phantom finds John Constantine’s trenchcoat floating around in the Ghost Zone, having accumulated enough magical effects to form its own ghostly entity upon its “death” (it being destroyed somehow).
Thus, Danny decides to help the coat make its way back to reunite with its human. He figures it shouldn’t take too long, and he does like helping people. Plus, the whole situation will make a hilarious story to tell his friends later.

If I wrote a Danny Phantom x Supernatural crossover I’d have Sam meet Danny while Dean is dead so Danny can be the second opinion on the ‘did he come back wrong’ front. Danny starts with the same stuff they already did, holy water, salt, iron, silver, and gets to the stranger stuff, “cold or hot marbles in your chest?” (Core?)“Unusually strong urges to hunt things” (Obsession?) “can you do a handstand?” “No” “have you tried doing one since you were dead?” (Ok that one is just to mess with them)

the joker were (finally) killed.
So many souls found rest at that moment that the gates of paradise (?) were visible. The population of gotham was initially worried that after everything he had done the joker would have access to such a place! But no, more neutral doors and certainly more infernal connotations were also shown (after all, the joker didn't only kill innocent people)
but the bats were the first to notice that the joker has not been seen passing one of the many ephemeral supernatural doors, like some of his victims….
the second to "notice" was Danny Phantom, who was interrupted in his observation of the stars in his nocturnal patrol by very young ghosts and …

three days later, the batfam (except red hood) found traces of joker activity and mounted an informed intervention on its apparent basis, while sending a request for help to all members of the JLD
But they arrived there (by breaking the windows) just in time to see a teenager suck the ghost (clearly visible?) of the joker in a machine with sophisticated technology into a termos, a thermos that seems to have seen better days ...
Danny: .... I can explain?
Batman: grhum (I'm listening)
Danny: but I don't have time, have a good end of life ~ (does the disappearance meme)

Haunting With Dinosaurs (2)
Danny is summoned by a powerful occult practitioner named Victor Veloci, who wants him to bring dinosaurs back to life. It sounds absurd, but Danny is bound to him and cannot refuse, even though he can't actually bring dinosaurs back to life. Instead, he merges the ghosts of five dinosaurs with the bodies of the five human sacrifices Veloci used to summon him, restoring them to life as dinosaur halfas. And that's only the beginning. I'm lowkey assuming that the majority of people who read this will not have seen Dino Squad, so I've made sure to describe all the DS elements a little more thoroughly than the DP elements so those of you who haven't seen Dino Squad can understand what's going on.
Written for @crossoverdanuary Week, Day 4: Any Fandom Dino Squad | Element
Read it on AO3 also, Watch Dino Squad on YouTube it sucks (affectionate)
Danny is slightly aged up to be 18 and a recent high school graduate, also this is a ghost king Danny AU, and obviously Phantom Planet didn't happen, but other than that, no major changes have been made to DP lore in this fic.
As for Dino Squad, I've made some pretty significant changes, but they pretty much boil down to: This is a supernatural AU, so it won't have canon-typical Dino Squad made-up science. All other changes are explained in the actual fic as they come up.
This may or may not be the last chapter, haven't decided yet, but I made sure to give it a decent ending, just in case. It is not yet edited, but will be eventually.
"Italicized dialogue" indicates speech that can only be heard in the POV character's head. (Danny in this chapter)
Chapter 2: Day of the Dinos
Previous
[No applicable warnings]
After dropping off the van and driver, Danny flew straight to the school and waited impatiently. It was a Saturday, so the only people on campus were the boys' soccer team playing practice games, the few unlucky teachers who had last-minute work to get done, and the fewer, even unluckier students who'd gotten stuck with weekend detention.
For the sake of not drawing attention to himself, he'd switched to his human form. Any time someone got close who might recognize he wasn't supposed to be there, he would duck out of sight behind the school's sign, or a tree or something. He didn't need to be mistaken for someone who was supposed to be in detention—or worse, on the soccer team.
In the 15 hours or so that he'd been in this town, Danny hadn't learned much about it. He'd learned that it was called Kittery Point, and it was in Maine, so at least he hadn't left the country. After hearing Victor's accent, he'd been a little worried that he might've been in Europe somewhere. He'd learned that he couldn't leave this town, thanks to his order not to go too far.
And he'd learned that this place was absolutely teeming with dinosaur ghosts.
It was a veritable Jurassic Park of ghost dinosaurs.
It was kind of awesome, but also kind of terrifying, because Danny had nearly been stepped on twice while he was standing in front of the school waiting, and even if they were too weak to be visible or tangible to a normal human, they could still crush Danny just fine. He wouldn't die, but it would hurt like a bitch.
He'd been waiting for half-an-hour before Rodger finally showed up.
Danny had made sure to get all their names before he'd dropped them off. Rodger was the one he'd merged with the styrofoam-saurus or whatever it was. The one that looked like a triceratops, but wasn't. Danny still hadn't figured out the difference.
"Over here!" Danny called out to him.
"Uh... do I know you?" Rodger asked. "Sorry, I can't really chat, I'm looking for—"
"The ghost king?" Danny flashed his eyes. "It's me, Danny."
"You overshadowed some poor kid?"
"No, it's me," Danny repeated. "I can take on a human form to disguise myself. I call myself Danny Fenton in the form. Get it? 'cause it sounds like—"
"Phantom, yeah, I get it."
Back home, Danny couldn't really use his human form as a disguise, since even as a human he was fairly famous locally for his association to his parents, who were regularly in the news, especially the traffic report. It was pretty convenient to be a nobody, all told.
Rodger immediately tried to get answers out of him, of course. He seemed like the inquisitive type. He was obviously the smart one of the group. Not that the others weren't smart, but it was a type, and he met all the requirements.
"Please, be patient," Danny said. "Once everyone is together, I'll explain things to all of you at once, and you can all ask your follow-up questions. I don't want to have to keep repeating myself for each of you guys, okay? Sound fair?"
Rodger begrudgingly allowed it.
Danny had to go through basically the same conversation again when Max and then Fiona showed up, and again with Caruso.
Danny liked Caruso. He was cute when his face wasn't all busted up, and it turned out he was pretty funny too. Now that he'd showered, gotten dressed in new clothes, and put a little product in his hair, he was downright gorgeous. He looked classy too. Not a lot of teenagers wore their skinny jeans with a dress shirt and tie, but Caruso made it work.
Oh, Ancients was he staring? Danny, stop staring!
"So you can shapeshift," Caruso summed up. "That's convenient."
They had to wait a little while longer before Buzz showed up. He strolled up to them wearing brown combat boots, green cargo pants covered in patches and safety pins, and a tie-dyed muscle shirt with the logo of a band Danny had never heard of. Now, with all the piercings, and punk accessories, the mohawk made a lot more sense.
"Sorry I'm late," he said. "I almost didn't come. I thought it might be better not to know what was going on and just try to move on, but this voice squawking in my head is really annoying."
"Does it want fish?" Fiona asked.
"Yes! Yours too?"
"She literally won't shut up about it."
"Mine is also complaining about having to walk everywhere and calling me stupid and inferior for nor being able to fly," Buzz added. "Anyone else? No?"
They all shook their heads.
"Awesome."
"It's so weird seeing you without the battle jacket," Caruso commented.
"Well, you'd better get used to it because that thing is toast. Literally."
"Right... sorry."
"Alright, our ride should be out any minute now," Danny said, checking the clock on the front of the school building.
As if on cue, the very woman he was waiting for walked out the front entrance and he waved at her. Joanne Moynihan, a bespectacled, gray-haired, Irish science teacher at the very same high school these kids happened to attend, and she was the second velociraptor who'd survived the extinction.
It had taken Danny all night to find her, asking both human and dinosaur ghosts for leads, but he'd tracked her down that morning and talked to her, and she was way different from her counterpart. For one thing, where Victor had been able to see ghosts the entire time, Joanne didn't even believe in ghosts until Danny proved his own existence to her. For another, she was kind, and cared about humans, and Danny was fairly certain she would never kill anyone, let alone her own students.
"Our AP bio teacher?" Fiona asked. "Am I the only one whose confused?"
"I'm confused," Buzz agreed.
"What does she have to do with any of this?" Max asked, looking a little lost.
"A lot more than you'd think, actually," Danny told them.
"These are the five you were talking about?" Ms. Moynihan asked, surprised. "What are the odds of five students from my third period class all getting dragged into this mess."
"Well, every story gets to have a really big coincidence," Danny said with a shrug. "So here's ours, I guess. Should we get going?"
"Of course," Ms. Moynihan said, leading the way to the parking lot. "You're lucky I decided to buy a van so I could transport lab equipment more easily or it'd be quite the tight squeeze to drive all of you."
They all piled into her car. Then she and Danny explained the situation to them.
Ms. Moynihan took the parts about herself and Victor surviving the dinosaurs' extinction and then for millions more years, part of which was spent in suspended animation. Danny took the spooky and supernatural parts, like telling them he'd merged them with dinosaur ghosts to bring them back from the dead.
"I told him that it would be like a possession, but my intention was to essentially give you the powers of the ghostly dinosaurs while your own wills and personalities were completely in control," Danny told them. "I meant to use the energy from the ghost dinos to bring you back with some residual ghost powers. I didn't expect the ghosts' personalities to stick around.
"Honestly, I didn't really think ghost dinosaurs would have distinct enough personalities to stick around. Sorry about that, guys."
"So basically, the voices we're hearing were an unintended side-effect," Rodger summed up. "But what did you mean by bringing us back with some residual ghost powers? What ghost powers?"
"I'm surprised you haven't noticed them yet," Danny said. "Side-effects of being brought back to life using ghosts may include: intangibility, mild ESP such as the ability to sense the presence of other ghosts, flight, energy manipulation, laser eyes, and much much more!"
"Laser eyes?" Buzz repeated.
"Well, ectoplasmic beams that you can fire from various body parts, but yeah."
"So like... seeing giant spectral dinosaurs tromping through the streets?" Rodger asked. "Yea or nay?"
"You see them too?" Buzz asked. "So It's not just because I missed my meds today."
"That's what I'm talking about," Danny confirmed. "This town has, like, a hugely disproportionate population of ghost dinosaurs, and I strongly suspect that's Mr. Victor's doing. He has this spell or something that calls them right to him. That's how I got the dino ghosts I used to bring you guys back."
"I don't want to have ghost powers," Max lamented. "I wanna be a quarterback."
"Well, your only other option is actually being dead," Danny pointed out. "I'm not asking for gratitude, but you could at least stand to have a little perspective."
Max pouted and sighed but didn't try to complain anymore.
"Hey... we've been driving a long time," Fiona observed. "Where are we going?"
"Ms. Moynihan has graciously agreed to lend us her secret base," Danny said. "It's a lighthouse on the cliffs at the edge of town."
"It's not exactly a secret base," Ms. Moynihan pointed out. "It does have a very powerful light at the top signalling it's position to everyone it can, but Veloci doesn't know I live there, so it should be a safe place to use as our base of operations."
"What operations?" Caruso asked. "What exactly do you think we're going to be doing?"
"Well, for one, I've gotta teach you how to use all your ghost powers," Danny pointed out, "because they can be kind of problematic if you can't use them properly."
"And for another, Veloci needs to be stopped," Ms. Moynihan added. "You five now have the power, and I believe also the motivation to stop him."
"I stalled him by saying it would take centuries to regain enough power to repeat what I did with you guys on other dinosaurs," Danny said, "But with this binding spell on me, it's only a matter of time before he discovers I was lying."
"We should probably add finding a way to remove that binding spell to our to-do list, too, then," Fiona said. "Right?"
"I would certainly appreciate it," Danny agreed. "In the mean time, Ms. Moynihan is gonna help me enroll as a student at your school. I never thought I'd end up back in the hell that is high school after I became the king of actual hell, but I'll do whatever it takes to keep an eye on you guys and protect you."
"Why?" Caruso asked. "In fact, why did you bring us back to life at all? Not that I'm necessarily complaining, but like you said, you're the king of hell, king of the dead. Why do you even care about a few insignificant humans like us?"
"I may be the king of the dead, but that doesn't mean I want everyone to die," Danny said. "I was alive once too. I died young, and it sucked. It only happened to you five because someone wanted to summon me, so... I guess I feel responsible for you. For your deaths, and for making sure it doesn't happen again any time soon.
"Besides, I can't leave town because dear old Victor told me not to go far, so what else am I gonna do? Hang out with him and work as his dumb black magic shop? No thanks."
"I guess that makes sense," Caruso allowed, but he still sounded a bit suspicious.
Danny decided not to push it, even though he kind of really wanted Caruso, in particular, to like him. Hopefully, Caruso would come around eventually, but Danny wouldn't get anywhere with him by aggressively insisting he was the good guy and they had to trust him. He could show them he was trustworthy. That was what he planned to do anyway.
At last, they reached the lighthouse.
Ms. Moynihan went straight inside while the rest of them stayed outside so Danny could give them their first lesson: transforming.
"Transforming from a human to a ghost is just like flipping a switch," Danny explained. "Just try to focus, and shift from human to ghost. I've found a catchphrase can help when you're a beginner. Observe." He clenched his fists, solidified his stance and shouted, "I'm goin' ghost!"
Familiar white rings appeared, spanning his body, and then he stood before them in his ghost form.
"Turning human again should be even easier, since it's your natural state," Danny said, then demonstrated turning human again. "Now you try."
The five teens looked between each other with raised eyebrows and puzzled expressions.
"Uh... going... ghost?" Fiona tried.
Nothing happened.
"Hm.... Oh! I know!" Danny said. "Remember how your ghost powers come from being merged with ghost dinosaurs? Try picturing the dinosaur you're merged with. Fiona, for you, that's a spinosaurus. Caruso got a stegosaurus. Max got a T-Rex. Buzz got a pteranodon—"
"No wonder she won't shut up about flying!" Buzz shouted.
"And Rodger got a... um... styro... styrieco... saurus?"
"A what?" Rodger asked. His brows furrowed and he frowned in thought. "Do you mean a styracosaurus?"
"Maybe?" Danny said. "It looked like a triceratops to me."
"But with spines on the fringe and no horns over the eyes, right?" Rodger guessed.
"Is that what the difference was?" Danny asked, gaping. "You know, come to think of it, it did look like that—Oh! Also, those voices you guys are hearing might actually be able to help with this, since you're kind of trying to transform into them."
"Are you sure they won't be able to take control once we transform?" Caruso asked.
"Absolutely," Danny confirmed. "Well, mostly. Actually, I hadn't even considered that possibility, but it's probably fine."
Wow, Caruso was more clever than he let on. And Danny had just completely fumbled his reassurances. Damn. He was losing points with this guy that he didn't even have.
"Great," Caruso said sardonically.
Still, the five of them kept trying, and one by one, they were each able to turn into faintly glowing spectral dinosaurs. And as a bonus, the dinosaurs' personalities didn't even become dominant when they transformed. Huge win!
While they were practicing, Ms. Moynihan came out with a camera and took pictures of the red markings around Danny's wrists, the markings from the binding spell. They even carried over to his human form, which was concerning, and Danny couldn't make heads or tails of what the symbols meant. Not that he was exactly an expert on that.
Ms. Moynihan wasn't an expert on ancient symbology or languages either, as she was quick to point out. She was a scientist—a geneticist, actually—and all this magic and spirits nonsense was not her field. Nevertheless, she was a skilled researcher with millennia of experience, and she would do what she could.
By the time the teens insisted on heading home for the night, they could all fly back on their own, and Danny felt like they had a solid start. There was a lot they still needed to learn, and a lot they still needed to do before they could beat Victor and Danny would finally be able to return home himself, but they could do it. He was sure of it.
"Come to me," Victor's voice sounded in his head and the marking's on his wrists burned.
He shifted to his ghost form and took off toward the black magic shop in the shady part of town.
This would be both their biggest advantage, and their biggest struggle. Danny could act as a double agent, telling them about all of Victor's plans and schemes and warning them of danger. But he also had to follow all of Victor's commands, no matter what.
Leading Victor on without giving the others away until they were able to take him down was going to be quite the challenge.
"Ghost King," Victor called him. "They're gone! They've escaped."
"First, it's Phantom, not ghost king. I don't call you Evil Velociraptor Witch," Danny said. "And second, I can see that they're gone. I'm standing right next to you. You don't have to yell at me."
"Well where are they?"
"I don't know, they probably went home. Why don't you just call their parents and ask?"
"I can't call their parents, I don't know who they are."
"You sacrificed five random kids without even knowing who they are? Very sloppy."
"Can't you find them with one of your powers?"
"No can do," Danny said. "I can sense ghosts when they're nearby, but I can't magically track them down."
It wasn't a lie. Victor hadn't asked Danny if he knew where they lived, or if he could find them without the use of his powers.
He was starting to realize that Victor was one of those magic-users who was completely over-reliant on magic, to the point where he forgot about easier non-magical methods of doing things. If Danny was right, Victor wouldn't ask Danny to start knocking on doors until one of his missing sacrifices answered one.
He'd try to find a tracking spell or something, and a tracking spell wouldn't work without something that belonged to the person he was looking for. The only thing Victor had from any of them was their blood on the floor of his basement, and that wasn't going to cut it. At least, not once Danny mopped it all up and claimed he was just trying to be helpful when Victor yelled at him for it.
"I suppose I'll have to find a tracking spell," Victor said, turned out Danny was right on the money. "But first, you said they would be possessed by the spirits of the dinosaurs I called. But when they woke up, they seemed to be in complete control. I know how a dinosaur trapped in a human body acts, and they were not acting like dinosaurs trapped in human bodies."
"Technically, I said it would be like possession," Danny pointed out. "I can merge two spirits together, but I can't control which one has control. My guess is that the spirits of the dinosaurs were partially faded and weakened because of their age, which meant the human spirits were stronger and took control."
That actually was a lie, but Victor hadn't ordered him not to lie, so as long as he wasn't refusing an order, he was fine.
At least, that had been basically what he'd hoped was going to happen when he revived those kids. In reality the dinosaur spirits had ended up being much stronger than he'd expected, despite their age. That was why the humans could still hear their voices.
"I've never dealt with ghosts that were millions of years old before," he continued. "Honestly, I didn't even know there were ghosts of dinosaurs until after you summoned me. I'm doing the best with what I've got, but you gotta understand this is completely new territory for me, and I'm learning as I go."
"So what you're saying is I know infinitely more than you about prehistoric ghosts."
"I wouldn't have put it that way, but pretty much."
Victor sneered. "Very well," he said. "Leave me to my work, but don't go too far. I'll call upon you when I need you again."
"Aye aye, sir," Danny said with a mocking salute.
Then he flew up through the ceiling and back toward the lighthouse where Ms. Moynihan had told him he could stay until he was able to return home. He could tell already that he was in this for the long haul. And he definitely had his work cut out for him.

Ideas for Hazbin Hotel fanfics
(because I am too lazy to actually write them and it doesn't fit into my Wattpad (yeah, I write fanfics on Wattpad, so what)))
1. Emily and Charlie explore heaven together! (extra points if prejudices, bonding, radicalization of Emily)
2. Lucifer x Hazbin Hotel crossover
Charlie visiting Lucifer on earth (maybe even at the police station???). Humans are baffled bcos Lucifer always acts like a casanova and then gets soft when he sees his little girl
3. Charlie's first time on earth
This could go many ways:
- Charlie is confused about earth (why humans seemingly all hate each other)
- Charlie is confused about earth (why it's so peaceful)
- Charlie is confused why humans look that way (I mean, her only examples for humans are Adam and Lilith, who don't really look like us)
4. Charlie using her powers (including her political power because she is, you know, the HEIR TO THE THRONE OF HELL) . No plot required.
5. Danny Phantom x Hazbin Hotel Crossover
Look, you can't tell me that no ghost is at least aware of hell. So why not tell Danny? Ghosts that are secretly demons, portals, ghost king!Danny.
6. Supernatural x Hazbin Hotel
The Winchesters want to summon Lucifer (or some other weak ass reason, idk) but get Charlie instead. But oh no, protective dad!Lucifer doesn't really likes it when his daughter is kidnapped.
7. Good Omens x Hazbin?
A few good ideas
- Crowley, for what ever reason, has to go down to hell (already saw a fic like that but can't get enough of it, eh)
-Adam Young meets Charlie. Sibling bonding. Differences.
- Aziraphale being disturbed by how much of a dick his lovely Adam Eden is now (extra points: Lilith)
When you write or read a fic that have any of that, please tell me the name in the comments! I would be thrilled.
