Interesting that when it’s only one person who comes forwards with a rape or abuse allegation against a famous male celebrity, it’s “oh it’s only one person, if it were true there’d be a pattern!”, yet when MULTIPLE people come forward with these allegations it’s suddenly “a coordinated attack to silence someone speaking the truth/for money/for attention” - it’s almost as if people don’t give a fuck about victims and just want to defend their faves as well as excuse their own shitty behaviour.

T/W: rape mention
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
More than 50 people wrote to the judge in the Danny Masterson sexual assault trial to support the convicted actor ahead of his sentencing, including:
Ashton Kutcher
Mila Kunis
Debra Jo Rupp
Kurtwood Smith
Alanna Masterson
Christopher Masterson
Jordan Masterson
Billy Baldwin
Bijou Phillips
Giovanni Ribisi
Jim Patterson
Their letters are basically saying, “Even though he has already been convicted of rape, he was my bestie so please go easy on him…”
Shout out to Topher Grace for not being a rape apologist like the rest of the ‘That 70s Show’ cast

In Kutcher’s letter, he writes: “While I’m aware that the judgement has been cast as guilty on two counts of rape by force and the victims have a great desire for justice, I hope that my testament to his character is taken into consideration in sentencing. I do not believe he is an ongoing harm to society and having his daughter raised without a present father would [be] a tertiary injustice in and of itself. Thank you for taking the time to read this.” Kunis’ letter adds: “I wholeheartedly vouch for Danny Masterson’s exceptional character and the tremendous positive influence he has had on me and the people around him. His dedication to leading a drug-free life and the genuine care he extends to others make him an outstanding role model and friend.”

okay but this mila kunis/ashton kutcher bullshit is a great point towards something we should all be paying attention to... someone saying they're a feminist is not enough.
liberal feminism has created this culture where the worst, scummiest people can adopt woke language and use it to hide behind.
a man can accuse you of being exclusive and discriminatory for not wanting to fuck him.
the meanest mean girl can call being a good person "emotional labour" and claim that she just doesn't have the "spoons" to be kind to others.
an abuser can use every bdsm buzzword in the book to avoid admitting that the only thing that gets him off is the pain and humiliation of his partners.
mila kunis and ashton kutcher have spent years saying the right things, at the right times. they've declared themselves feminists. they've supported whatever rainbow capitalism hollywood liberal bullshit was trending.
...
and they still wrote those letters supporting their rapist friend.
it doesn't matter what your fave celebrities say they support.
are they putting their money where their mouth is? are they going out on a limb to support victims of the industry, even when the perpetrators are hollywood legends? are they cancelling women who won't stay quiet? are they still working with abusers?
words don't mean shit anymore. actions are what matter.

And now there's more to the Linkin Park Saga...
Emily Armstrong is a Scientologist. They don't believe in mental illness. She's also a supporter of Danny Masterson (who is a rapist and a scientologist and used to be on That 70's Show)
She issued some lame ass non-apology yesterday.
So, basically, they're all spitting on Chester Bennington's grave and memory. He struggled with mental health and ultimately ended his life because of it.
I've gone from sad and disappointed to irritated and angry 🤬

I remember all those news articles about how Topher Grace was rude, uptight and unsocial with his fellow cast members on That 70's Show but now I see that he was 100% right in distancing himself far, far away from all of them and scientology and now he isn't the one writing letters to judges defending rapists.

Gives a lot of pause. Remember back in the day Topher Grace got a lot of crap for not being 'friendly' with the cast during the filming of That 70's Show? He was keeping his distance from Scientology and their defenders.

Remember back in the day when everyone thought Topher Grace was a douche because he didn’t fuck with the rest of the That 70’s Show cast?

I'm glad that Emily posted this.
Hopefully people can shut the hell up about it.

It's not that I don't support her because of her sound, I just can't support anyone who ever supported scientology and Danny Masterson. I don't care if she apologized. Apology not accepted. She's just saving her ass now to try to not look like a horrible human being. It's not gonna work with a lot of LP fans. It's sad the fans have to be divided, Chester wouldn't want that. But Chester did want us to move on. However I'm incredibly saddened that out of all people on the planet, that's the singer that Mike chose.
