DC x DP fanfic Idea: Gotham Gossip
Meta-human rights are a touchy topic in Gotham. While the city is known for Batman's view on them, it's also known for Bruce Wayne's viewpoint.
The Dark Knight did not welcome Metas, while the Light Knight worked tirelessly to employ charities and programs to support Metas. Both men- if Batman was a man- influenced Gotham so intensely that their viewpoints became the face of the public.
Even people outside of Gothman learned what "Are you a Dark pawn or a Light pawn?" meant when it was spoken about during national debates.
Really, it was no surprise that Batman and Wayne got caught up in a rather explosive public argument over the subject. Or rather, Wayne yelled at Batman during a hostage situation when his party boat got taken by a group of masked men.
Thankfully, Batman was able to save everyone on board, and although he didn't stick around to argue with Wayne, it was noted that Batman seemed intrigued by a few of Wayne's passionate rants. A few reporters were excited to point out there may be a chance of growth within the vigilante, but it was overshadowed by gossip rags that used this incident to make up a wild rumor of Wayne being a bitter ex with Batman.
This rumor runs for months, with various people posting online proof of a relationship. It sparks debate and anger, with other people responding by fact-checking and countering the "proof." Eventually, the argument moves away from Meta-human rights and falls into celebrity gossip, which has Wayne steaming.
People ignore his passionate activism to better the lives of Metas, only watching his speeches, marches, protests, and donations to various charities to gain new proof of his nonexistent romance that may or may have been in his early twenties when he mysteriously vanished to see the world.
That's when the video comes out.
A young teenager wrote a song parody of what was happening. A soft acoustic guitar accompanied his short words, accusing the masses of caring more about a wealthy man's pants being on or not than the lives of his people.
This young teenager is Danny Fenton, a known meta from a small town in Illinois. This quickly turned into people attacking the boy, who released another song using the hateful comments as new lyrics.
Wayne reposts one of his sons, claiming it a masterpiece, which is when one fan notices the similarities between the two. She makes a post talking about how Wayne and Fenton could be father and son as a joke, expecting people to take it seriously.
Overnight, the internet finds out that Fenton was, in fact, adopted into his current family after being surrendered at a fire station anonymously. More and more people started to notice the similar features between the rich man and the small-town singer until a video of Fenton using his powers was leaked.
Fenton's power is invisibility. This resembles another well-known Gotham dweller who can appear and disappear through the city's shadows. It's not long before Fenton is being called the love child of Batman and Wayne.
It leads to so much media attention and harassment aimed towards Fenton that Wayne steps in. He offers to take a paternity test to finally put the rumors to rest and let the young boy vanish from the limelight (should he stop writing songs).
The only problem?
The test is positive. Wayne is Fenton's biological son. The whole nation loses their minds when it's leaked by a very regrettable intern at the clinic where the test was done. (To be fair, the intern's email was hacked, so when she scanned the papers for herself, they were able to steal them)
Worse, Joker thinks it would be hilarious to kidnap Wayne's newly discovered son and, on live TV, give him another paternity test against Batman. The clown is laughing hysterically while his men prepare the results, only to become more gleeful when it's a match again.
Fenton is the son of both the Dark Knight and the Light Knight. It matters little that Batman's DNA is slightly messed up, as various people already suspected him of not being human.
This just proves Fenton is not a meta-human but rather half-human and whatever the hell Batman is. Joker is having a ball reading out the results, proclaiming he would help Fenton meet his biological grandparents with his one guarantee.
His words are cut off when Fetnon- unknown to the viewing public- escapes his bonds and swings an axe from the emergency fire station inside the aged wearhouse at Joker's neck. The clown collapses to the ground dead, the boy bathed in his blood, and the half-finished joke is cut off by the sound of choking blood etching across every screen in Gotham.
The remaining goons and Fenton stare at each other in stun silence while one is brave enough to rasp. "But Batman doesn't kill."
"Do I look like my absent father to you? Besides, Joker venom is a war crime. I'm within my rights, and if I'm not, I would have killed him again anyway."
Fenton quickly outshines his fathers in the public's eye because no matter where one stood on the Meta Rights, everyone stood on the "Kill the Joker" debate.

Andrew Blaze and the Weis Market Shooting
Andrew Blaze (real name: Randy Stair) was an American YouTuber and content creator who became known due to his involvement in a supermarket shooting.
Stair was known for his YouTube channel, where he posted animations and videos inspired by the character Ember McLain from "Danny Phantom". In his online posts and diaries, he expressed feelings of alienation and developed a transgender identity under the name Andrew Blaze.
On June 8, 2017, Randy Stair carried out an attack at his workplace, the Weis Markets supermarket in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania. During his night shift, he blocked the exits, pulled out two shotguns he had brought with him, and shot his coworkers. He killed three of them before committing suicide.

Hello o/
I’ve been offline since I’m in school and I have a job but because there are so many new people here I just wanted to hit a quick introduction for those who don’t really know me too well and to also say thank you all so so so much for all your support the past couple of days. I have read so many lovely messages from you guys and it truly means the world to me to feel seen, heard, understood and supported.
So I want to start off by saying hi! My name is Andrea, but online I go by Andi. I used to be a content creator on tiktok and twitch from 2020-2022. At the end of 2022 I decided to remove myself from the content scene for personal reasons. And now I’m pursuing a career in esthetics, which is something I am extremely passionate about!
I originally created this blog as a sort of safe space for myself outside of twitter and now I just kind of use it to post life updates and stuff. But, I still want this to be a safe space for me to just kind of yap about my life into the void sometimes. I wanna make it very clear that I am not interested in creating content or promoting anything so if you’re here for someone to stan, I am sorry to disappoint. Sometimes I disappear for weeks at a time and sometimes I’m super active. Most of the time people come here looking for advice, which is really nice, because I love helping other people navigate through their experiences and emotions. But, I don’t have the strength it takes to be a therapist or psychologist so I just post here!
I will note that my boyfriend, Danny, is a youtuber. He is incredibly talented and I am so so so proud of him! Because I want to support him in his career, I will appear in his videos occasionally. But, again, that is his career and his thing, not mine. I want to give him a quick shoutout for being my rock throughout the last few weeks. It has been incredibly tough to navigate and he has handled the situation and me with such grace, patience, and respect. So yeah I love my bf and I wanted an excuse to gush about him for a sec while clarifying that just because I am in his content, doesn’t mean I want to create content myself.
I also really don’t want my experiences and my relationship to that community to define who I am now. Again, I have almost entirely removed myself from that space. And I am very happy I did. I think the environment as a whole was not conducive to the happiness and mental stability of most creators. I truly, genuinely hope that everyone gets the help they need to lead genuine, productive, and fulfilling lives. I have said before that I am in a much better and happier place now. I’ve been in therapy for a little over two years, and I’m very proud of myself for how far I’ve come in my healing process in this time. I also am incredibly lucky to be surrounded by amazing people who love and care about me. In the future I’ll probably talk about my mental health more openly, but I don’t feel that now is that time.
To anyone who needs to hear it: It gets better, I promise. Shit happens, and even when it feels like you have nothing ahead of you, the universe proves you wrong.
Thank you for reading.
Much Love, Andi

So, I heard a lot of stuff online lately about how Monkie Kid is going to be cancelled because there aren’t any LEGO sets planned for 2026, and I don’t know if this is just wishful thinking on my part, but I don’t think it’s gonna be cancelled, here are some reasons why:
Monkie Kid is based off Jttw- this is a reason because Jttw is extremely popular, it’s almost guaranteed that Monkie Kid will have some kind of audience, even if it’s not as big in the west, China provides a huge fan base for the show.
There was a very obvious continuation implied at the end of season 5- now, I’m not saying that the show couldn’t still be cancelled after the foreshadowing (I could be an ambiguous ending) but it’s seems like the writers have something planned for the future, they left the season in a way that suggest they have more story to come; basically, to me, Xiang Liu’s spiel about opening the ‘gate’ was vague enough that the writers could have left the series on it, however, the little zap off magic on the staff was definitely foreshadowing for something solid.
The reason season 5 was so rushed in the first place- according to this video by Masters of Brickjistu (which gives a detailed description on the series of events that caused LEGO Monkie Kid’s studio switch and I highly recommend watching) LEGO wanted to release the season along with the sets, I believe the reason that no sets have been announced is so that they can extend the deadline and find a new studio in time to keep with their pattern of releasing content.
And finally -The writers’ telling a story rather than just selling a product- the way I see it, everyone working on LEGO Monkie Kid is focused on conveying and cohesive and lovable story over producing glorified adverts, this is because they’re faithful to their source material while also exploring new concepts and scenarios; They turned Red Boy into Redson and turned the true fire of samadhi into a full season (or two if you include Wukong’s reason for his ‘vacation’) worth of angst and drama. And no character is one sided, the camel ridge trio are perfect examples with Azure harming things in his drive to create a better world, Yellow Tusk’s understanding of larger issues taking priority over personal matters and Peng’s desperate sense of self preservation despite his argumentative and prideful personality (sorry for the ramble…). What I’m trying to say is that the creators love their creation so hopefully they’ll continue creating.
In conclusion, I don’t think lmk is getting canceled anytime soon and the reason there aren’t any sets for 2026 is because the team are taking some time to work all the logistics out.
(Or I’m grasping at straws and I’m in denial, that’s always an option)
One more thing, even if lmk is over the fandom doesn’t have to be, I hear a lot of talk about people just leaving a fandom because the media it’s about is finished, that’s bs. I say we pull a Danny Phantom and keep on going for at least 18 years :D!

Yeah as a Hazbin and Helluva Boss sorta-fan its just like. Its fine? Its edgy, I would say its kinda vaguely like a 'leftist south park' like its detractors say in the sense that its deliberately trying to cross the line as many times as possible for comedy purposes under the cartoon vineer, but I think the outrage it gets is way too much for what it is, its just like. Its black humor brain popcorn with a surprisingly sweet narrative by a creator with the usual level of jerk bigger name creators have.
Thats not everyones cup of tea, nor is the animation style everyones cup of tea, sure, but its not like the show is valueless sludge and every kind of 'ism like people claim it is.
People like Danny Phantom just fine on here despite its creator, and people love Breaking Bad on here for some reason, but I guess because the Hazbin Cinematic Universe is casually queer and a bit horny while being Not Perfectly Unproblematic that means its The Worst Media Ever.
Queer media has to be perfect and pure with no problematic elements or creators lest it be deemed worse than blatant actual altright propaganda and placed on the DNIs of thousands of Very Online teenagers, so like, im not surprised its so hated. Disappointment, but not surprised.
Yeah, I've noticed that about queer media, and how it tends to be attacked a lot more viciously than other shows/comics/etc that contain the same sort of content or which have comparable levels of douchbaggery in their production.

Google’s Algorithm Update Explained: What Small Publishers Need to Know About Recovering Rankings & Avoiding Costly Mistakes
In September 2024, Google rolled out a significant algorithm update that created a stir among online publishers, particularly smaller, independent sites. Many are left contemplating how this update will affect their rankings. In response, Danny Sullivan, Google’s Public Liaison for Search, shared critical insights into the update and offered guidance for publishers navigating these changes. His main message: there’s no need for panic or drastic adjustments—Google is still fine-tuning its algorithms.
In this post, we’ll explore key takeaways from Sullivan’s update, focusing on what content creators—especially those from smaller sites—should prioritize in the dynamic landscape of Google rankings.
The Continuing Evolution of Google’s Algorithm
Google’s Commitment to Quality Content
Sullivan emphasized that Google’s algorithm remains a work in progress, aimed at showcasing a diverse range of high-quality content. He noted, “The work to connect people with a range of high-quality sites, including small or independent sites that are creating useful, original content, is ongoing.” This commitment is particularly encouraging for smaller publishers who often feel overshadowed by larger brands.
A Nod to Quality Content Practices
While the focus on rewarding useful, original content isn’t new, Sullivan’s remarks underscore the importance of maintaining quality. Google's past updates—like Panda, Penguin, and BERT—have all aimed to highlight the best content. The E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness) framework remains central to assessing content, favoring sites that provide accurate, credible, and well-researched material.
What Should Publishers Focus On?
Creating Great Content
Publishers concerned about their rankings need to prioritize content creation. Sullivan’s advice is straightforward: continue producing high-quality content. He remarked, “If you’re feeling confused about what to do in terms of rankings… if you know you’re producing great content for your readers, keep doing that.”
Patience and Perseverance
It’s essential for content creators to focus on their audience and maintain quality, even if immediate ranking improvements aren’t evident. The key takeaway? Patience is crucial. High-quality, relevant content that serves your audience will eventually be recognized by Google.
Avoiding Drastic Changes
Caution Against Over-Optimization
Sullivan cautioned against making significant adjustments in response to minor ranking fluctuations, especially for sites already ranking well. “Rankings can and do change naturally over time,” he stated. Many site owners, driven by the desire for higher rankings, may unintentionally disrupt a successful strategy by making unnecessary changes.
The Role of Publisher Feedback
Feedback and Algorithm Adjustments
Sullivan highlighted that while publisher feedback is valuable, it does not directly influence individual site recoveries. Instead, it helps Google identify broader algorithmic issues affecting multiple sites. “We continue to review feedback to see how we can make search better for everyone, including creators,” he said.
Site Recoveries and Timelines
Understanding the Recovery Process
Recoveries in rankings do not occur overnight or as a result of individual feedback. Rather, they happen when Google’s updates address widespread issues. “Our systems don’t work that way,” Sullivan explained, emphasizing that while feedback is essential, immediate results are not guaranteed.
Key Takeaways for Publishers
Quality Over Quick Fixes
Focus on Quality Content: Google’s algorithm continues to evolve, but the emphasis remains on rewarding high-quality content. Continue creating valuable, useful material for your audience instead of chasing quick rankings.
Patience is Key
Stay Hopeful: If your content hasn’t seen recognition yet, maintain your efforts. Google is refining its algorithm constantly, and your hard work may pay off in future updates.
Avoid Over-Optimizing
Leave Well Enough Alone: If your site is already performing well, resist the urge to make drastic changes. Minor adjustments can sometimes lead to unintended consequences.
Broader Impact of Feedback
Long-Term Benefits: Individual feedback may not yield immediate results, but it plays a significant role in helping Google refine its systems and address larger issues affecting multiple sites.
In summary, Google’s recent update reinforces the idea that while its algorithms are continuously evolving, the fundamentals of content creation remain unchanged. The best way to succeed in search—whether as a large brand or a small publisher—is to focus on the needs of your audience and deliver high-quality, original content.
For further support in navigating these changes and enhancing your site’s visibility, consider partnering with a Professional SEO Agency. By embracing a commitment to quality and continuous improvement, you can better position your site for future success.

I’ve been a fan of Danny Phantom since like I was alive. I was born 2002, show came out 2004, so I never got to enjoy it until consciousness hit me and I started joining in on fandom activities in 2013ish.
I have ALWAYS either made art, talked about fan theories, or just interacted with the fandom. From my experience alone, it’s the oldest fandom I’ve been a part of, considering it’ll turn 21 this year in April, which speaking of, we’ll promptly have a takeover like we do every year for the shows (d)anniversary
This wouldn’t be possible without people still posting to the fandom space. We wouldn’t have memes in this fandom or a fandom PERIOD if we just. Stopped posting the year after it came out. The reason why newer fandoms die out is because when kids got trapped indoors in 2020, they latched onto whatever was popular and thought “okay, gotta keep with the times. I shouldn’t like this thing anymore because there’s no content for it”. I’m not saying it’s wrong, as it’s just a result of what happened during the pandemic. But we NEED to normalize that you can stay in a fandom long after it’s dead or inactive. You can stay in a fandom space even if it’s not popular anymore. You can stay with fans even if your friends have moved onto something new. It’s OKAY to still like something a year, five years, or even a whole two decades after it’s been released
I see a lot of kids nowadays saying how they wished they were online when Gravity Falls was big or Voltron was popular and how they would’ve loved to be part of the fandom space, despite all their flaws, but it wouldn’t have been possible without people still posting as they waited for the next season, or people posting about their fan theories, or even just posting about shipping. I wanna say to that younger audience:
Someday, YOU will be part of that original fandom. Mouthwashing, Dandy’s World, etc. someday, YOU will hear from 9 and 12 year olds online that they wish they were part of that fandom space but now they have this show and that show and “the fandom doesn’t feel like those older nostalgic shows :(“ it is your job, as part of the youth, to keep your fandom alive. Post videos. Make art. Make fanfic. Do it months or even years after the show lost all popularity. Do it even if the creator is a POS (look at how the fans of Danny Phantom and Harry Potter are doing without acknowledging their media’s creator). Do it even if the show got canceled or ended. Just create and keep fandom spaces alive. YOU are responsible. Make it even if it’s bad.
Ask yourself this: How can you keep food on the table if you don’t go to the store and get it?
"Imagine still posting fanart a whole year after the game came out" brother what are you talking about

do you ever see yourself going back to being a content creator?
(warning: accidental trauma dump ahead)
get out of my walls
i was JUST talking to my bf about this last night. i think about it a lot tbh. i’ve talked about it here a few times already but if i did go back to content creation it would be more vlog type stuff. like on some mai pham shit yk? it just makes me so nervous bro idk.
like idek how to describe it but the thing that’s holding me back the most i think is like social anxiety but make it online. i got so much hate and so many people being so mean and judgemental towards me that i now assume anything i post or anything i’m in will garner negativity. like i cannot even begin to explain to y’all how bad it is. i overthink everything i post, on instagram, on here… that’s why i rarely post on tiktok anymore like i can’t even really look at any video or picture without finding at least 10 immediate flaws wether it be in my appearance, how i’m talking, what i’m saying, literally if there is even one minuscule thing off, i will notice and not post.
the only post this doesn’t apply to is my anni post w danny bc there are some pictures there that i don’t look my best in but i was happy in the moment and that’s why it went up.
i think it’s easier for me to rant and post on here because i don’t actually have to speak. That comes with its own set of issues though. For example, you guys can’t tell my tone when i’m speaking, or the cadence of my voice. You can’t see my facial expressions, which sucks because i think i’m such an expressive person. i fr talk with my whole body, arms, face, everything. Obviously none of that translates here which i feel creates a disconnect between me (poster) and you (reader). I think i find comfort in that distance though. It’s almost like when you go through a really bad breakup and say you’re never letting people close enough to hurt you that way again. It’s like that for me.
So maybe one day i’ll return to making my own content and posting again. It’s definitely something i want to do. I’m just scared right now. And i don’t know when i’ll stop being scared.

Consider partnering with a Professional SEO Agency for further support in navigating these changes and enhancing your site’s visibility. By embracing a commitment to quality and continuous improvement, you can better position your site for future success.

Hi! :3
I'm Empdioxy (sounds like Emp-dee-AOksie), you can call me by Emp/Empty
they/them
An unproductive dead-inside adult
Came here to post fanarts (mostly content creators/real people) and OCs (I have tons of them)
Kinda busy irl so I might be a little late in checking messages, and I'm still trying to figure out how to use Tumblr (and keep being alive)
Tags to sort things out (plz forgive my OCD):
#reblog for all my reblogs
#fanart for all my fanarts
(More about my fandoms, art requests, and an important statement👇)
I'll occasionally drop fanarts of them:
Content creators: Vanoss crew (mainly Vanoss, Nogla and Terroriser), commentary youtubers (mainly Danny, Kurtis and Drew), various gaming youtubers/streamers and more
Series: AVGN, analog horror series (mainly Marble Hornets) and more
Movies: Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau movies, found footage horror movies
Games: mainly Pokémon and Minecraft
Others: CS pros, table tennis players, urban legends, creepypastas and weird memes
I'm not active online so if someone/something gets exposed/cancelled, I might react slow but I'll take action on my relevant works as soon as I learn what happened.
As for art requests:
Requests are welcomed! Recommend anything! I'll go look it up and sketch, as long as I'm free. You can also ask my OCs, that would be fun!
But I suck at drawing complicated clothes and pretty faces, so those mobile game characters, vtubers and idols are kinda tricky for me to draw.
