Danny big brother to damian
Danal is a prodigy, he can adapt to any situation, follow muscle movements with ease. He has a laid back, sassy and cheerful personality, and is the nicest person in the league, but you piss him off may god have mercy.
When damian was born Danal fell in love with him and became more of a caretaker than talia when it came to damian.
Whenever damian had trouble with a movement Danal patiently helped him, when he hit his 'why' phase as a child Danal was the only one who could be around him. He was the only one who could get damian to smile, damian adored Danal and wanted to be like him. Strong and deadly but that didnt stop him from being kind and helpful.
Ra saw that while yes Danal and him butt heads more often than not, he was far more perfect as an hair than damian and decided to use that.
He planned to execute damian in front of danny to break him. What he didnt expect was for Danal to interfear and take the killing blow for him.
Damian had to watch his big brother, the person who tought him what love is, cared for him, gave him the best training, and now Danal gave his life for his. Danal told him in his last words how much he was proud of him. How damian is stronger than he thinks and how loving him was worth it even if it got him killed.
Damian believes a peice of him died with Danal that day.
No one checked if danal was alive after the final blow, but if they did they wound see there was a little bit of life left on him, so when talia took Danals body to the Lazarus pit it did something else.
DAMIAN:
After Danals death damin became the most aggressive person in the league, attacking anyone who came to close or bad mouthed Danal
He has a box in his room with things Danal owned/ made together / gift from him
When Bruce took damian and introduced him as brothers to the rest of the batfam he lost it, started yelling saying that their not his brothers
Damian resents talia for not helping Danal or at least not stopping him
Damian hates Ra more than anything
After damian warmed up to the batfam he refused to call them brother, he called them family but not brother
Damian refuses to tell bruce that he had another son, as a form of punishment for not being there for him
Damian has a map of the stars because Danal loved space
Damian tries to incorporate Danals fighting style into his, but since he didnt learn much he failed alot of the time, whenever anyone asked about it they were met with a knife
Damian agreed with bruce on how to love and is more familiar with love, and it confuses everyone where he learned to love
Damian is fearsomely protective of anything to to with Danal
There are 2 days of the year that people leave damian alone no matter what Danals birthday and his death anniversary
Danal showed damiam pictures of different animals as a kid and thats why he loves them
After a few years damian learns to some-what accepts danals death
Damian refused to blam himself for danals death even if he believes it to be true, danal wouldnt want that
Danals last words ring in his ear " loving you is worth eveything little brother, even my life, I'll never stop loving you
DANAL /DANNY
Danal woke in the ghost Zone after talia put him in the Lazarus pit with no memory of before, but subsequent knowledge of everything before; knew how to fight/cook/write/read/ be assasin/ what the Lazarus pit is but dosent know how he knowes this or have any memories
Danny wanders around encouraging ghosts till he finds the perfect place for his lair and builds it
He finds the fenton portal and decides to go through it
He discovered his obssession was protecting people he cared about
He traveled between the ghost zome and human relm with a lot more subtlety than the other ghosts
During his years as amity park protector he discovered new powers, he can change into a human form, ice powers, duplicates, something similar to clockworks ability to see everything, ghostly wail and how to control it, how to make portals throught the infinite realms and alot more
He always felt like something was missing and after protecting amity for a while he made a truse with the other ghosts and decided to traved the infinite realms
For reasons he cant explain he continues to train his physical body in the martial art style he knowes
He loves animals for reasons he cant say and loves to play with them
He has more allies due to them knowing what his obssession is

Day One DP/DC WEEk
Danny was many things, but he wasn’t a liar.
That much
He did do it if he had to, but that was beside the point. It didn’t matter.
Others couldn't control him.
But the fact still remained.
Batman was standing over him, declaring that Danny was a liar. A big fat liar.
Nu huh, lairs go to a bad place. Danny wasn’t a liar. He may be dead but he wasn’t a liar. That would be rather rude to call all ghosts liars.
And batman was a total jerk. Calling a kid a liar.
“I am not a liar.” Danny declared, definitely not pouting, pointing his finger at Batman. He had no idea why he was acting so childish yet here he was. A 14-year-old boy yelling at batman for accusing him of being a liar. That should be illegal. Batman was supposed to follow the law…
Actually, Danny was 80% sure that batman didn’t actually follow the law.
Wait no make that 90%. Maybe that’s why Jazz said he was a terrible influence. That certainly would be the case.
Danny wouldn’t let Jazz know, he found Batman awesome. Even though the bat-themed vigilante was moving a little too close for comfort.
“I never said you were a liar,” Batman said, his voice soft as if trying to calm a frightened animal.
“But you made the sound,” Danny said, his hair falling into his eyes as the wind stopped blowing for a moment. It picked up again, revealing his icy blue eyes once again.
“A sound?” Batman, stopped moving closer, standing there instead trying to figure out what sound he made.
“Yeah, the little hm slash grunt sound that parents usually do when they don’t believe their kids…except I only hear it from Jazz.” Danny muttered that last part under his breath but he saw Batman stiffen. Did Danny say it too loudly? He shrugged it off, Batman had no need to be concerned for his home life. As Danny doesn’t have one anymore. Due to the whole being dead thing.
Danny tensed, sensing movement behind him, and he whirled, his fists clenched and ready to punch. Instead, he gaped, eyes wide as they landed on the glint of a red helmet. That wasn’t good.
Danny wanted to scream, first off, yes he did want to meet the vigilantes, but not like this! In the middle of winter on top of an apartment building. This wasn’t going that well.
Red hood, took a step forward as Danny moved away from both the vigilantes, slowly moving him closer to the edge of the building, it was the closest he had to an escape and it seemed that he wasn’t Red Hood’s focus at the time. Danny couldn’t help but curse as his foot touched the edge of the roof, if he fell off, he’d either die or reveal his powers.
Even if he did die, it wouldn’t last for long. Death never seemed to stick onto him as it does to others, hugging tightly like super glue. But for him, it just melted off, like when you put glue underwater and it just kind of sludged off into the sink in little clumps and you’d watch it fall down the drain. Remnants would remain but they didn’t have the same effect anymore.
Danny shivered slightly, despite the fact that there was no breeze. There wasn’t even a real chill in the air, ignoring the fact that there was a pile of snow next to him, Danny believe it was cold. Trust him, Danny knows chills and this was one he was familiar with. His eyes narrowed as they landed on the Red Hood, who was now in an argument with batman.
When did that happen? He didn’t even hear them start to argue. Stupid enhanced hearing deciding not to work.
Danny shrugged, he couldn’t let this bother him. After all, they were distracted. Might as well take his chance to leave. If he slipped up, he probably wouldn’t get another chance to escape.
That’s exactly what he did
Or at least tried to.
“Kid!” Red Hood’s modulated voice cut through the air.
Danny flinched as his foot stepped over the side. Red Hood wasn’t supposed to glance over at the moment, Danny was going to jump off and fly away to safety. They’d never know that he flew off. It would be a peaceful disappearance where he would leave the city and never return.
Instead, he stumbled off the building, glaring at Red Hood before he fell. His body landed hard into something squishy.
And something that stang.
Danny sat up, trying his best to ignore the tangent smell as the thing he was laying on squished and sloshed under his movement. Some slimy liquid rolled out, coating his fingers causing him to rip his hand up.
Of course.
Stupid Fenton luck. Threw Danny into a dumpster. A very smelly dumpster
He probably had a banana peel in his hair.
He would stink for days!
Maybe even longer, Danny didn’t really have a place to shower. Hey maybe the smell would make people leave him alone… not likely, seeing as how Red Hood and Batman were both staring down at him.
He gripped the metal edge of the dumpster and hauled himself out. Glancing upward to see the vigilantes grappling down the building. He didn’t have much time to get out of there. Danny would take what he could get.
Danny should have run. Should have bolted the second he got out of the dumpster.
Instead, he decided, to make a face at Batman, sticking his tongue out and flipping the Bat off.
Jazz would smack him for that move, but she wasn’t here to do that. Danny could only enjoy his gesture for a little bit before turning around to run.
Only to fall back a little bit as he ran into a wall that wasn’t there before. His eyes slowly moved up and Danny could only groan.
“Is everybody in this city like a brick wall?” He exclaimed watching as an amused look appeared on Nightwings face.
“I mean.”
“You don’t even have the tank build like Batsy and Hood. You're too lean to feel like a brick wall!” Danny pointed a finger at Nightwing, his other hand going up to his hair to remove the banana peel slowly sliding off of his head. In a spurt of anger, he tossed to peel, losing that satisfaction as Nightwing caught the peel and tossed it back into the dumpster.
Well, a banana peel wasn’t all that threatening was it?
“What did I do to deserve all this attention?” Danny asked taking a step back as Batman and Red Hood moved closer. “I really don’t know what I did. Uh, I plead the fifth.”
“You didn’t do anything.” Batman sighed, taking another step forward.
Danny glanced around as Red Hood spoke up. “You can’t plead the fifth unless you did something.”
“Oh sweet, why are you terrorizing me then? I was having a great nap, and then bam the bat came out of nowhere. Not cool at all cause I desperately need the sleep.”
“You were sleeping in a factory.” Batman moved again, causing Danny to take another step back, he’d like to keep as much distance between himself and the bats as he can.
“The location doesn’t matter Batsy. What matters was I didn’t have any nightmares, it was a peaceful sleep, despite how hard the floor is.”
“Do you usually have nightmares?” Batman asked head tilting, Danny blinked.
“Did I say nightmares?” Danny squeaked slightly, his back hitting the wall. Great, he was cornered. He knew he could take down the heroes. Or at least escape them. But he didn’t want them to be suspicious.
It seemed most likely they wanted to throw him into foster care or send him back home to his parents.
“Yes, you did,” Nightwing spoke up this time, eyeing Danny with concern.
Actually, Danny wasn’t sure what it was, with the whole being unable to see his eyes thing. But that was chill. Danny didn’t need to deal with it. Most people didn’t look at him with concern anymore.
“Ohh! You mean the typical falling nightmare. Yeah, I’m terrified of heights.” Danny nodded, yeah, that made perfect sense.
“You’re terrified of heights?” Red hood asked. “You just fell off a building, without screaming.”
“Yeah, I was so scared I couldn’t even make a sound. Terrifying.” Danny latched onto this lie like it was a lifeline. Maybe it was. It didn’t really matter. He could make up lies all day.
Oh, wait.
That just proved to Batman that he was a liar.
“Can I go now?” Danny asked, side-eying the space between Red hood and the dumpster. If he found a distraction, Danny could book it. Take down the street and disappear  He’d leave Gotham and never return. Ha! The perfect plan!
Now just execute it. Danny could figure it out. He knew he could.
Uhh
He just needed something to throw.
Or maybe something could explode. Danny never wished so hard for a villain to show up. Something anything to take the Bats attention off of him.
Danny blinked as he spotted something by the dumpster, not too far from him.
It was a
A shoe…
Danny blinked that was his shoe. He almost laughed. His shoe fell off and he didn’t even notice. Wow, Danny was really out of it today. Chuckling softly he moved towards it, watching as Red hood tensed as if to stop the kid, only to visibly relax when Danny picked up the shoe. Danny bit back another laugh, were they really that worried about Danny running off?
He did want to and he was about to. So guess they did have every right to worry about him disappearing.
This was perfect.
“Hey, Hood?” Danny asked looking at Red hood, a mischievous grin appearing on the boy's face. “What size shoe are you?”
“Wha-” Red Hood started only to stumble backward as a shoe slammed into his helmet with surprising strength and speed. He was almost positive that if he wasn’t wearing the helmet his nose would be broken.
A body side-slammed him, causing him to stumble even more as the kid raced down the alleyway. How the hell is a kid that skinny that strong?!
“I’m not going back to school” Was the last thing the kid said before turning sharply down the street and disappearing from view.
Danny laughed as he skidded across the ground. Yeah, he guess he lied earlier about it not being chilly too. Cause it was winter, and Danny’s barefoot was feeling quite numb after stepping into a few piles of snow. But ay what could he do? Just sit around and let the Bats return him to Jack and Maddie? Maddie and Jack?
No, Danny refused to go back to Amity.
He wasn’t actually entirely sure which way was back. Left or right?
Up or down
East or west
North or the south?
It could be anyone and Danny wasn’t sure at all. I mean who could be after running into bats after living in Gotham for about a month? Guess some people would say that was lucky. But Danny knew that it wasn’t. The bats usually only came after criminals
Did that mean they thought of Danny as a criminal?
Noooo
Danny wasn’t a criminal. He was just lost.
Well not exactly lost.
He just ran away. Danny was perfectly fine.
And he most definitely couldn’t go back to that factory.
Which totally sucked because Danny left everything there. His money, spare clothes, phone, thermos.
Dang it
Danny was so going to die on the streets
Unless he started stealing
Which would make him a criminal
And amplify his lying.
Danny hated this.
He hated it so much.
Stupid batman and his all trying to help Danny. Danny didn’t need any help, he did great at messing things up by himself.
It didn’t seem to matter to the Bats that they totally ruined his life just by showing up! Danny loved his life.
Well not really but hey he wasn’t dead!
Not all the way…
Or on a metal table getting cut open like thanksgiving dinner.
Danny didn’t think he would taste that good.
Not at all. Anyone who thought half-dead boys tasted any good is crazy
There sure were a lot of psychos in Gotham who weren’t there.
Was Danny going to end up as Thanksgiving dinner?
That would suck.
Behind him, he could hear Hood yell. The words caused him to laugh.
“The kid threw his shoe at me!”
“Hood,” Batman grunted shooting his grappling hook and shooting down the alley.
“Right.” Hood slowly nodded, tucking the shoe into his jack. Hey, the kid might get cold feet and want his shoe back. “Have a traumatized kid to track and possibly adopt.”
He couldn’t help the smirk that appeared on his face as Batman slightly stuttered with his next grapple. Man, he loved it when the comms picked up things like that. Throwing off the old man was one of his favorite past times.
Bruce sighed as he sat down in the chair, rubbing his temple as he tried to figure out how hell the kid got past them.
Yes, he managed to distract his way out by throwing a shoe.
A shoe of all things is what got the kid out of their sights.
Bruce glanced back as he watched Dick pace back and forth, muttering to himself about how a kid managed to just disappear and how he didn’t have anything with him. “The kids going to freeze, did you see what he was wearing?!” He asked turning sharply and facing Jason who was examining the shoe once again as if it held all the answers.
“A T-shirt and jeans,” Jason said offhandedly.
“Yes! That’s not winter wear and he’s missing a shoe now.” He pointed at Jason, face in a mix of anger and annoyance. “Couldn’t you have left it behind, the kid could have gone back for it.”
“Yeah, like he’ll go back for his bag?” Jason asked, his statement made. They all knew the kid wouldn’t go back for the stuff he left at the warehouse.
The kid clearly didn’t want to be found and ran as soon as the bats arrived. Still managing to escape when he was cornered.
His clothes were thin yet hanging off the boy as if he had no fat on his bones. Jason doubted he did, as he could basically see the kid's cheekbones from how sullen his face was. He highly doubted the boy ate anything that day.
So help him, if Jason ever found the kid, he would wrap him up in the fluffiest blanket, set him down in front of a fire, and never him let out of his sight. He couldn’t leave him out there to starve. No way.
He had a feeling none of the other bats would want that either.
Danny sat on the top of the clock tower, his feet swinging over the edge as he watched the cars below. He had grown to love the city. Despite the amount of tension, he felt from it. The amount of death leaking from the city was unsettling, but Danny has gotten used to it.
When he first arrived, it took all his strength not to run in the other direction. He always got a wave of nausea when someone died. So he was constantly sick. People would walk past him vomiting on the street.  Some tried to take what little he had when he did that.
He was pretty sure they might have lost their toes from the frozen feet he did. A small price to pay for trying to steal from someone vomiting their guts out.
Danny wondered if that’s how the Bats found him. He highly doubted they just stumbled across a starving child within the factory. Maybe Batman was hunting down some goons and found Danny instead.
“Shit. Am I a full-blown criminal now? Is running from batman, considered running from the law?”
“Nah.”
Danny didn’t scream. He didn’t. He simply gasped. He was startled. He didn’t scream.
“Batman doesn’t follow the law, have you seen how fast he drives the batmobile?” Hood asked sitting down next to Danny, a bag of food set between them. Danny could see the grease stains as he read out the words. BatBurger. “I figured you were hungry.” Hood said after a moment of silence. “ And to return your shoe.”
“Oh.” Danny slowly reached for the sneaker, pulling it onto his numb feet. When he looked back up, Hood was holding out a burger to him.
“I wasn’t sure what you liked, so I got a lot. Take your pick.”
Danny slowly reached for the burger. Surely Hood had no reason to position him. What would get Hood anyway from killing him? Danny doubted the poison would actually affect him. Most don’t
“So why are you up here, if you’re terrified of heights?” Hood asked as they snacked on their burgers.
“I’m facing my fears.”

I’ve seen Danny interacting with Batman/Bat-fam and some Danny interacting with young justice but y’all are SLEEPING on Danny and Blue Beetle (Jaime Reyes) interacting because guys they have the same weird experiences in the most specific way possible. And yes I will be breaking this down (below) because if I am cursed with realizations so will you.
For argument’s sake here, I’ll be using Young Justice version of origin story for Jaime and all the stuff, because it works.
1. FREAK ACCIDENT ORIGIN STORY
The reason, again via Young Justice canon only, Jaime Reyes becomes Blue Beetle is because of a freak accident in Kord labs. There’s an explosion, which means the scarab is free to pick the nearest guy to bond to, and quickly chooses Jaime.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And for Danny, it’s turning on the ghost portal, and having his molecules get all rearranged from the portal turning on with him inside. Already, both of them have been suddenly and forcibly changed physically by a sudden lab accident. Danny? Ghost boy. Jaime? Murderous Armor buddy. And for both, reversing is canonically possible, but very painful.
2. TIME TRAVEL STYLE INTERVENTION BECAUSE YOUR FUTURE SELF IS EVIL AND BASICALLY CAUSES THE APOCALYPSE
I could ramble about both their time travel style intervention for hours but for the sake of clarity I’ll dumb it down to this:
In one timeline Danny cheats on a test, which causes his entire family to die (batshit insane I know but stay with me here), which means he lives with his fellow half-ghost rich uncle, and then decides he doesn’t want to be half ghost anymore and lets the uncle rip out his ghost half. Said ghost half rips out the uncle’s ghost half, fuses, and causes terror, mayhem and destruction. A literal ghost god of time itself intervenes, to stop this from happening.
Tumblr media
For Jaime, it’s having a sentient murderous piece of armor that will not be quiet about how much easier it is to blow up a building then work as a team, and then aliens called the Reach come and stay on Earth, said aliens recognize the armor Jaime has it actually the Reaches’, activate the armor so Jaime isn’t in control of his own body, helps the Reach brainwash the planet and cause terror, mayhem and destruction. And human enslavement, that too. A time traveller from said horrible future comes back to stop this from happening.
LITERAL TIME TRAVEL STYLE INTERVENTIONS. I AM NOT JOKING. THESE ARE BOTH CANON.
3. BEING MIND CONTROLLED AND HAVING TO FIGHT YOUR OWN FRIENDS AGAINST YOUR WILL
For Danny, clown named Freakshow uses him to commit crimes! He almost causes on of his friends to die. For Jaime, again, Reach using his body. Again, he could have killed his friends!

Something about Danny that I've noticed in canon is that he never cries. Not once. Even when he's the most down, such as in My Brother's Keeper, he doesn't cry. He could be under excruciating pain, straight up tortured by Vlad or his parents, and he won't cry. Instead, he gets angry or frustrated. He lashes out, his words get more scathing, and he turns to self loathing. The healthiest coping mechanism he has is flying, but even that can get interrupted by hunters or other ghosts.
Point is, it's almost like he can't, or there's something keeping him holding back tears real tight. He's like a steaming kettle full of water. He's pushing down on that lid and all that pressure just keeps building...and building...and building.
And eventually, once he explodes, because he will blow, it's going to be devastating. I don't think he would know how to handle his own tears honestly, they would just keep coming. Out of nowhere. He could be in class or at the dinner table. If he's lucky he'll be in private with Tucker and Sam, or even Jazz. If the world is being extra cruel, he'll be in the middle of a fight, or somewhere he's out in public. But I just know that breakdown is imminent, he's gone through way too much for it not to be.

Danny is the type of kid who becomes tall out of nowhere and then get begged to play a sport
hell yeah. we've seen dan, we've seen his dad. puberty is gonna hit our boy like a freaking truck. plus he's already proven fairly athletic from all his ghost hunting, doing flips and throwing punches, and running constantly. i fully believe that the whole trio is secretly ripped. not in aesthetic way but in a practical way. because again they're out fighting, running, dodging, blasting. they'd probably do well on track out of everything.
so for this situation i see a slow unveiling of talent. danny developed something of an indifference to dash's bullying because he's dealing with worse and more important things. so usially he just goes with the situation to get it over with as fast as possible. like yes, throw me in the locker, i have class that i want to be on time for, for a change, lets move this along. this is back when he's still short. tucker still looks nerdy and thin and is still more interested on relying on his tech than any athletic ability. sam is the most recognized as somewhat athletic but most people just see the goth and don't notice the arm muscles or calf's she's rocking. girl could bench press paulina, and no one realizes.
until
some sort of ghost attack. i feel like the one where the kids had to fight to get their parents back would fit as the beginning of the realization. like danny sam and tucker hold their own through that fight. danny actually shows a fair bit of coordination and helps the others with ghost hunting training. i think it would be around then that people note that they're not as weak as they look. then over a series of other attacks across a time period, people start really noticing. tucker climbs a building to get to a high point to use a megaphone for evacuation. sam literally princess carries paulina out of a situation. danny in human form punches skulkers head off. it's one of those things that make it into vague rumor but isn't a big enough deal to get much louder, than a few confused comments.
then puberty hits and suddenly a lot of their physical progress suddenly becomes obvious. they all fill out in ways the student body isn't prepared for. like they figured out on paper that the trio are kind of strong, but then suddenly tucker is showing off his abs to the girls and his pecs and arms are showing through his slightly too tight shirt, and he's still managing to be a total nerd about it. sam gets pretty tall, especially with her boots and she has the posture and confidence to seem like a model or mma fighter. she's that much scarier. no one wants to fuck with her. and then there's danny. who shot up to six feet over the course of a summer, has the chris evens v-chest kinda going on, is struggling to find shirts that fit now, constantly bumping his head because he no longer has the same clearance, and he's still growing!
of course, they're gonna be begged to join various teams/ have sudden spike in popularity. i imagine tucker is living for this attention but danny and sam kinda liked being ignored better. danny initially enjoyed the attention but it quickly became apparent that people paying attention to you makes it a lot harder to keep a secret. he also just doesn't have time fore sports. the ghosts don't care about his schedule but coach tesloff and all of his team mate care a lot. he doesn't want to disappoint anyone. i could see a whole episode about this, danny tries at football it ultimately doesn't work out, tucker spends the episode showing off to girls until they get sick of it/it blows up in his face. and for sam, oho, sam gets offered a modeling job that has paulina foaming at the mouth in jealousy. she accepts the job purely to piss her off. there's a lot of fun to be had with this - Hestia

Here's a sneak peak of some boys being clowns :^)
(Constellations ch. 5)
You see, while Draco was distracted by Sam, Danny had dragged Tucker to the nearby alley and threw himself in the dumpster.
"There are so many ways I could make fun of you for this," Tucker said as a flash of light came from the cracks in the dumpster, "But I'm just too shocked at you showing even the slightest hint of caution regarding your secret identity."
Phantom phased his head out of the top, "What are you talking about? I'm always careful!"
"Me and Sam have a running bet on how long it takes before you blow your secret in front of Draco Mister stands-on-top-of-the-nearest-availble-surface-and-shouts-his-catchphrase."
Phantom crossed his arms as he floated out of the dumpster. "Okay there is no way I'm that bad."
Tucker gave him a flat look. "Just yesterday you threw yourself out of Vlad's office window, and transformed on the way down. Leapt off the picnic table at lunch, while shouting your catchphrase, in the middle of lunch. Oh also when we were just walking down the street and you jumped on a car, ran across it, and then threw yourself off with a fancy flip while transforming mid air."
Phantom floated there with a sheepish look.
"Yeah I'm honestly baffled you even have a secret identity still. You're as good at being discreet as you are dodging."
"I can dodge," Phantom muttered as he picked up Tucker and flew them through the building to get to the fight.
The universe decided to prove Tucker's point by sending several projectiles directly into Phantom's face as soon as he appeared on the other side of the building.

In Case of Emergency
Chapter 2: A Different Kind of Pressure
Previous | Next | AO3 | FFN
Chapter Summary: Getting trapped under a fallen building sucks, but when does Danny's life ever not suck?
Chapter word count: 1930
Getting trapped under a fallen building isn't Danny's finest moment. It probably ranks top ten on the list of "Moments That Really Suck and Didn't Need to Happen, But Of Course They Did Because When Does Danny's Life Ever Go Right?" The name needs some work, but the point stands. It sucks. One minute he was fighting a ghost and the next... well. Danny isn't sure what happened next. He remembers being inside a building, and now he's under a building, and he doesn't know how he got from there to here, but here he is.
"Hey. Hey, are you okay?"
Danny has a hard time hearing the voice over the ringing in his head, but he manages alright. It helps that the woman's lips are about level with his eyes. There's not much light to read them by, and he isn't an avid lip reader in the first place, but the words "are you okay" are a pretty good guess considering the circumstances. That and his only other guess is "hard chew today," which would mean one of them has a concussion. Danny might have a concussion anyway.
"Pretty sure I'm supposed to ask you that." Danny tries to push himself up, to let the shield covering them expand. The green wall flickers, growing dimmer, and the pressure on his back grows. He freezes as something above them groans, the sound of scraping concrete echoing around them. Okay, no moving. He should probably be in a lot of pain right now. Thank God for adrenaline.
"Between the two of us, I'm the one with the medical license, so it's literally my job to ask if you're okay and you definitely aren't okay." The doctor beneath Danny blows a strand of hair out of her face. It floats up, tickling Danny's nose, then lands right back over her cheek. She tries again, getting the same result. The doctor wriggles.
"Hey, whoa, what are you–"
Her arm, pinned between them, shifts a little, and she wiggles even more.
"You really shouldn't–!" Her leg, pressed against Danny's, jerks. The shield flickers again as she kicks it and the full weight bears down on Danny for a moment. Dust rains down. His vision goes black. He hopes that's because of the shield failing and not because the weight of the debris is so painful that he blacks out for a moment, but it very well might be. He pumps more power into the shield, just enough to get it back up, and his burden eases slightly.
"Shit." Danny groans. Does a building weight more than a bus?
The doctor stills. "Sorry. That was an accident. Are you okay?"
"Just peachy." The creaking in his bones says otherwise, not to mention the growing cold spots on various parts of his body, but the doctor lady doesn't need to know that.
"Hey, not to make demands after you just saved my life, but do you think you could get us out of this? Pretty sure I've seen you fly through buildings before."
"That would be great, wouldn't it? Except I'm a little tuckered out right now."
"How tuckered are we talking?"
"Um..." A flash of white illuminates their bubble for a moment before Danny fights back the urge to transform. "Pretty tuckered."
"That won't happen again, right? The shield? Because I like not being crushed by a building."
Danny closes his eyes. His power levels were low even before he got into a scuffle with the ghost. Today has been one fight after another, and none of his familiar rogues, either. Danny couldn't even enjoy some pleasant banter with his favourite frenemies. Keeping the shield up is draining what little energy he has. It might be keeping them from being completely crushed, but it still takes effort to hold up so much. It's still him keeping them safe. The problem is he only has enough strength to keep one powering going. But the doctor has a point. They can't stay here for too long. Help would come, eventually, but Danny doesn't know how long that will take, which leaves them with very few options.
"I might have an idea," Danny says.
"Okay." The doctor nods. "Good."
"But I don't think you're going to like it."
"Less good."
"I could turn us intangible and gets us out of here before I run out of energy. But I can't keep the shield up while I do it."
The doctor's gaze jumps to the green walls surrounding them. "I'm guessing it's not, like, instantaneous. You drop the shield and poof we're out of here."
"Nope."
"Huh. You're right. I don't like that."
"It's okay. I can lift a bus, so. This should be okay for a few seconds."
"A building is heavier than a bus."
"I'm trying not to think about that." Danny closes his eyes and lowers his head. He needs... a lot of things. Pain killers. Not to be stuck under a building. For his arm to stop bleeding, because he can feel the ectoplasm sliding down his shoulder, hear the quiet drip-drop of it hitting the concrete beneath him, and it's making the pain harder to ignore. But right now, he needs a moment. Because what he's about to do is going to suck.
"Okay." Danny opens his eyes and meets the doctor's gaze. "I need you to pull your legs up, and shimmy down a bit, and do your best to curl up underneath me. That way when... when everything drops, if it shifts, it's not going to hit you. Got it?"
The doctor does as told. She draws her knees up and curls her head toward his arms. She's taller than him, not by much, but enough that Danny doesn't make the perfect cover. It will have to do.
"Ready," she says.
Danny takes a deep breath and drops the shield. The rubble falls, broken bricks and wood digging into his back. Danny nearly buckles under the weight of it. It takes all his willpower not to immediately throw the shield back up. Something groans. He can't tell if the grinding noise filling his head is the concrete or his bones cracking under the weight. His transformation rings flicker around his waist once more. Forcing them back hurts almost as much as holding up the rubble, and for a moment he thinks it won't work. He doesn't have the energy to go intangible. They're going to die.
Then he moves. He drops, arms buckling, and wraps the doctor in a tight hug. His body goes cold and everything crashes around them. With the last of his strength, Danny pushes, launching them upwards. Light bursts around them as they leave the rubble, and he forces himself further, past the haze of dust, dragging their bodies across the street, out of danger, until he collapses in an alley between two shops. His heart pounds in his ears and it takes a few moments for other sounds to fade in Cars. Distant sirens. The murmuring of a nearby crowd.
Danny tilts his head and looks out toward the street. Pedestrians mill about on the sidewalk, clustered together, staring at the collapsed building across the road. Danny and the doctor hadn't been trapped long enough for much to happen, even though it felt like forever. Holding a building on your back is just like that, apparently. Danny pushes himself up onto his knees, one hand to his head, and scans the sky. No sign of the ghost he had been fighting. He tries to reach out with his ghost sense, but it makes his chest throb and his vision swim. Okay. No more ghost powers today.
When he stands, he has to brace himself against the wall or else risk falling over. His head spins and he’s only a few seconds away from throwing up, but he can’t stay here. He needs to text Sam and Tucker, find a safe place to transform, treat his injuries, and pass out. Preferably in that order. The black spots flickering in and out of his vision seem to disagree with that. Danny slumps against the wall, smearing ectoplasm across the bricks, and examines the doctor. She looks okay, already on her feet. A little dusty but no visible injuries. Good. That's enough for him.
“Glad you’re safe, citizen. Maybe stay away from ghost fights for the rest of the day.” Danny waves over his shoulder and takes a few stumbling steps toward the back street.
A hand on his wrist stops him. “And where do you think you’re going?”
Danny turns back to the doctor. There are two of her reaching out to him, grasping his two left arms. That's new. He blinks a few times, closes his eyes tight, but the double vision stays no matter how hard he tries.
"Could you let go, please?" he asks.
"Could you make me?"
Danny feels his last dregs of power slipping away like sand through his fingers. It's all he can do to keep a few grains cupped in his palm, just enough to keep him from transforming in front of this stranger.
"You know I'm a ghost, right? That means I'm already dead. I'll be fine."
The doctor reaches up with her free hand and touches Danny's shoulder. His gaze follows her hand until he sees a flap of skin. He has to look away or else he really will throw up.
"It doesn't matter if you're dead. You're hurt. I can't in good conscience leave you like this. You need help, so... let me help you."
There is no way that's going to happen.
Danny keeps adjusting his seatbelt on the ride over to the hospital. It wasn't easy to put on since his left arm is barely functional, but he got it after a little fiddling. The only problem now is that it drapes across his injury—a laceration, the doctor called it. He has to press his palm over his shoulder to protect the wound, slow the bleeding, and keep his shoulder intact. He really is a mess.
"Do you actually need that?" the doctor asks when Danny wiggles his shoulders to move the seatbelt again.
"I don't know how you did that."
"I'm very persuasive."
"I don't know how you did that." Danny is insane. He must be. He is insane and severely concussed. That's the only acceptable explanation for why he got into this stranger's car while his powers are practically down to zero and he could change back at any moment. He tries to keep track of where they are going, watching for street signs and familiar landmarks, but that's a little hard when there are two of everything. It doesn't take long before he starts feeling dizzy and he has to close his eyes, resting his head against the window. Sleep sounds good right now. Just a quick nap. Twenty minutes tops. He can trust his body not to transform in that time, right?
A tugging in his chest says otherwise. Danny grimaces and shoves the feeling down. No sleep, then. But there's no reason he can't close his eyes for a little bit.
"You okay?" the doctor asks.
"Jus' res'ing my eyes," Danny mumbles.
Something rustles. The radio comes on, loud at first, but quickly turns down to a soft murmur. Danny can't hear anything more than a baseline, the singer's voice floating over his head. He latches onto the sound to keep himself awake but finds his focus slipping away as the doctor's quiet humming lulls him to sleep.

This Dark Disposition: Chapter 40 - Here We Are
Tumblr media
A Few Days Later
Tommy led the pair as they descended a spirally set of stairs into the basement of the building. It was old, and had a sense of character to it that new builds just couldn’t replicate. Wooden accents gave life to the doorways, the walls, and the railing Danielle held as they walked down the stairs.
At the bottom Tommy paused for a second to look back at her before they started walking down the hall. It was as if he needed the reassurance that she was still behind him, backing him up. When they turned the corner they saw Campbell waiting for them at the end of the hall and both of their paces slowed as their expressions grew more sullen.
“You two love birds might think this is a curious spot for me to propose a meeting,” Campbell adjusted his cane and it thumped against the hardwood floor, “but the surprises have only just begun.”
Danielle shot a glance at Tommy when Campbell turned to open the door to an adjacent room. They walked through the room and saw two people sitting at a table, a man and a woman. Danielle didn’t recognize them, but it became clear that these two people were Irish. Danielle glanced at Tommy again to read his expression. A stranger wouldn’t have been able to read his face, but she was no stranger. From his expression she gathered that Tommy knew them.
“You’re working together,” Tommy’s tone was raspy, “Blowing up the Garrison was your idea.” He turned his head to the side, Danielle could tell he was pissed off, “That’s funny, I thought, you fenians had a policy, eh, of not mixing the personal with the political.”
“That’s enough,” the woman said in an Irish accent. Danielle couldn’t quite describe it, but it was as though she sounded even more Irish than Campbell. Danielle noticed how the man sitting next to her was looking at her somewhat menacingly, as if he was plotting. Danielle knew the only person she could trust in this room was Tommy.
“I think I’ll decide on what is enough,” Campbell said as Tommy walked over to the table.
“Who’s in charge here then,” Danielle said as her body came to life after being lost in her own thoughts, “Who’s in charge, is it you?” She walked to the table and pointed at Campbell, “Because it doesn’t bloody seem like it.”
“Let me understand this,” Tommy said as if to prevent Danielle from getting too involved, “You answer to an agent of the Crown?”
“Perhaps we can-”
“Very interesting,” Tommy said, cutting Campbell off.
“Is it you,” Danielle said as she turned to point at the woman, “Because that seems more like it eh, and it sure as hell isn’t you,” she said as she pointed to the man beside her.
“Well you are really more arrogant than him, ain’t ya,” the woman spoke.
Danielle regained her composure and stood up straight.
“You do not speak to her like that,” Tommy said as he turned to point at the woman, “You do not.”
“Perhaps we can stick to the agenda,” Campbell pleaded.
“Whose agenda?” Danielle asked, “Whose words.”
“Just come to order,” Campbell asked.
“I’m here to listen, but not to the fucking infiltry,” Tommy spoke sharply and looked directly at the man at the table. Danielle could tell that Tommy didn’t like him either.
“Can we just conduct ourselves,” Campbell said, but Danielle could tell Tommy was passed that, “No one here wants to breathe the same air as anyone else.”
“Nevertheless-” Campbell started.
This time it was Danielle who cut him off, “Nevertheless, the pro-treaty paddies and the King want the same man dead.”
“Why,” Tommy spoke.
“Did you ask why in France,” the woman said to Tommy and his eyes met with Danielle’s.
“Yeah,” Tommy said, his eyes still on Danny’s.
“So it's the same answer,” Campbell said as he sat in a chair, “Because.”
“Because if anyone connects us to this it will be assumed that it was a criminal act and not a political one,” Danielle said what Tommy was thinking.
“No. You need not fear being connected to the killing because I will see to it that no connection to it is ever made. You will have complete immunity after the fact,” Campbell said it as if he actually believed it. Danielle rolled her eyes.
“And none of you can be connected to it or seem involved in any way,” Danielle said as she shifted her weight and clicked her heel against the hardwood signalling to Tommy that it was time to leave.
“I’m not doing it,” Tommy said, changing his mind, “My answer is no.” Danielle turned to head out the door and this time he followed her.
Danielle could hear Campbell’s cane against the floor following them out of the room, “Mr. Shelby,” Campbell called while they walked down the hall, “What about your export license, Mr. Shelby?”
Tommy stopped walking down the hall and paused in place, “What about your deal with Mr. Churchill?” Danielle knew that name and that man, she knew him from the trenches in France. What was new to her was that he was now connected to Tommy. He looked at her for a moment before he turned and stormed down the hall towards Campbell.
Danielle followed him and Tommy spoke to Campbell in a hushed tone, “Donal Henry is a spy. He’s working for the irregulars against the pro-treaty paddies. He reports every fucking word back to them.” Hearing this made Danielle realise why Tommy had acted the way he had when seeing him.
“No, it's not possible. He was vetted by my own department,” Campbell said defensively.
Now, having enough information to intervene Danielle added, “Do you really think anyone does anything in this city without Tommy knowing?”
“I have men in places you men can’t go,” Tommy pointed his finger to Campbell’s chest, “He meets with the anti-treaty paddies in a backroom, sometimes even twice a week.”
“The Irish rely only on kin, Mr. Campbell. Brothers, cousins, family. Your coppers can’t compete with blood,” Danielle felt more confident now as she held her clutch with both hands.
“You are stepping into a world you don’t understand,” Tommy said before turning away, “bring proof that the spy is dead, and we can continue.”
When they stepped out onto the street Tommy immediately put his hand on Danielle’s back and guided her back towards Watery Lane. She didn’t dare say anything until she knew they were for sure out of ear shot, “The Irish blew up the Pub?”
“Yes,” Tommy said as he placed pressure on one side of her back so she would turn to go down a side street, “You didn’t say anything.”
“Well you seemed to put it all together quite quickly,” Tommy said, avoiding the fact that Danielle had not yet known the full truth until now.
“You could have told me sooner.”
Tommy let out a deep breath and Danielle could tell he was frustrated, “Yes, but I didn’t so here we are.”
“Danny there’s something else I need to tell you that I haven’t told the boys yet,” Tommy put his hand on her arm to stop her from walking any further. She pulled her arm away from him and looked up and down the street. It was dusk now and the streets were beginning to empty, “Tomorrow night we make our move on the Eden Club.”
Danielle took a step back, “Last time,”
“What happened last time isn’t what will happen this time,” Tommy said in a low voice so no one could overhear. In seconds, Danielle’s mind raced with images of the fancy, golden club filled with people, dancing, laughing, and then she saw pictures of the boys tearing the place apart, and Tommy hurt again by Sabini - or worse. Tommy put both of his hands on Danielle’s arms and that shook her back to reality, “the coppers will be looking the other way. I’ve made sure of it.”
“The coppers aren’t exactly the ones I’m worried about, Tommy.”
“Sabini’s day is done,” Tommy said in a tone that was too confident for Danielle to take seriously. Had he really thought this through?
“And there’s something else you need to know,” Tommy said as he ran his arms up hers, “There’s a woman. Her name is May, she’s training my horse for the Derby. She’s going to be here to gather the horse later this week. I didn’t want you to be surprised.”
“So you didn’t want me to be surprised about her, but it was fine enough for me to be surprised about what happened in that room back there,” Danielle said, trying to keep her voice calm and her tone low. She couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed by the impossibility of the situation.
“Listen to me. Eh, listen to me.” Tommy gave her shoulders a little shake and she looked up at him, “I should have told you. I was wrong. I didn’t know they were working together, but I should’ve told you about the other stuff.” He had her attention now, “Danny, we’re going to figure it out, we will. We will get through it.” His tone was balanced now, calm, and back to his usual composed cadence, “And I will be here to see that baby enter this world, I promise you I will.”
Danielle breathed a sigh of relief that she had been holding in over the last few days, and even weeks as she navigated her new reality; the pregnancy, Tommy’s business with Campbell, the London takeover, everything had been moving so fast. Before she could take a breath in his lips met hers and she felt the tension that she had been holding onto dissolve into the air on the street around them. This, she thought, made everything so much better.

What if the ghosts played Minecraft? What if there was a ghost that decided they wanted to live in Minecraft? What do they even be able to do it
So you’ve come to an expert I see!
If a ghost wanted to ‘live in Minecraft’, their lair and aesthetic could be Minecraft. Think Max Brooks’ Minecraft: The Island. Said Minecraft ghost would appear like a Minecraft skin, even outside of their lair and would only able to cycle through certain emotions. They would also treat real objects like blocks or items in the game… and it would work. They’d need to punch/break stuff to acquire it, and would have a fully working inventory. Also hunger which is not great. They would be able to respawn back in their lair and craft armor so they could potentially be kind of powerful actually-
While incredibly cursed, they would be relatively harmless, and only come through portals to check for updates.
(Also the ghosts do play Minecraft. This ask has made my headcanon that all of Danny’s casual enemies have a Minecraft server that they all play on its the most chaotic shit ever. The server is modded to hell and back so they aren’t bound to plebeian non-dead Minecraft player rules. Technus is admin, because he would not play otherwise. He doesn’t actually do anything with this: Entirely unhelpful creative mode server God boi™. Tucker is the only actual staff because Skulker didn’t want to be in charge of maintaining the server once he found someone good enough at game stuff to take over. Tucker hates this but also can’t bring himself to just NOT do it. Ember learns Redstone specifically so she can make music in Minecraft also. She also has every disc on the server. Not just loot. She steals any discs anyone else gets and has them all. Pointdexter also knows redstone; he is worse at it than Ember, he just uses his skills to do actual things where she doesn’t. Kitty and Danny are the only ones that just play the game normally. Danny also patches the creeper holes like a Saint. Johnny fucks with everyone’s builds when he’s bored; this is the only reason he comes online. Sam has beaten all the ghosts at pvp, a lot of them at the same time; she is just that skilled. Lunch lady is there too, dedicating all her time online to killing and cooking every animal she comes across. On the one hand, she keeps the entire server fed, on the other hand she destroys all the farms and no one can have an edible pet or it WILL die. Skulker collects money heads, and it’s actually really impressive. He’s killed the Ender dragon a figmillion times; he just keeps respawning it for fun. Youngblood makes a tonne of ugly builds and lava casts, because pretty servers can’t exist with people like these. On that note, Box ghost is also whitelisted. No one knows how, but he keeps logging on and building dirt shacks. Dani plays also, because Danny gave her the IP address. She comes online to talk to Danny instead of calling or texting him with the phone she absolutely has. Valerie also has access to the server via ‘Phantom’. This was not a good decision. She destroys all of Danny’s stuff specifically. She griefs everyone, because ghosts, but mostly just blows up whatever Danny is making. She doesn’t come on often and it never occurs to them to just ban her- Dora and Klemperer also get to be on the server. This is good for them, they are just having a good times. Vlad is not allowed on the server, because he is a fruitloop and no one wants that. How do all the ghosts get their computer? Theft of course! And lots of it! This is fine.)

A Single Pale Phantom

i am back on my dash danny reveal bullshit
Dash closes his locker and starts heading down the hallway. It was finally the end of another super boring day at school. Now, he could spend the rest of the day doing super boring homework. This is the epitome of life right here.
He pushes the doors of the front of the school open and walks out of the building when he hears a ruckus across the street. Ectoblasts are being shot and crashing could be heard as two ghosts tussled it out. As the big ghost stood up and started running away, Dash could see Phantom flying after it down the street.
Dash’s face split into a grin and he started chasing after Phantom. It was his hero! He’s been trying for so long to get Phantom’s attention and hang out, but Phantom’s always gone or he comes up with some excuse before Dash can even get any words out. Maybe today will be his lucky day!
“Phantom! Hey!” Dash shouts down the street.
Phantom keeps going, not hearing Dash’s shouts. He gives the ghost one final blow and pulls it into the thermos before flying away again. Dash keeps following him and turns around another corner before he sees Phantom fly into an alleyway between two buildings. Dash walks in behind him and is about to call his name when he sees a bright flash of light.
Suddenly, Danny Fenton is standing in Phantom’s place. He runs out of the other end of the alleyway and down the street.
Dash stands in place, mind racing. He knows what he just saw. It should be impossible. Fenton couldn’t have just magically appeared, he was nowhere to be seen this whole time Dash had been following Phantom. It wouldn't make any sense.
But all the absences, the tardies, and sudden excuses of why Fenton needed to leave the classroom. Everytime one of these happened, Phantom was always nearby. Sure, students had noticed it. But everyone thought he was just helping Phantom out. Or that he was afraid of the ghosts and had stolen one of his parents' inventions and always knew when one was going to show up. The only one who had ever connected the dots was Wes.
Dash started walking home, his mind still racing.
What should he do? Should he tell Danny that he just discovered what was probably his biggest secret? Should he tell one of his friends and ask them what they thought he should do?
Dash shook his head. If Danny knew he knew he’d probably never trust him, not that he’s ever earned it, but he’d probably think Dash would become another Weston. And if he told his friends there’s no doubt it’d get to Paulina and she’d ring it through the rumor mill as hard as she could.
No. He shouldn’t tell anyone.
But then again, this is such an important secret. Wouldn’t Danny want to know that someone has figured it out?
Sticking his hands in his pockets, Dash walks down the street as it began to rain, stewing over what felt like the biggest secret in the world.

A couple days later, Dash is headed to the Nasty Burger to get some grub to eat when he sees Fenton and his parents. His parents are standing there with large, bazooka looking ghost hunting weapons. His dad and the gun are both looking up at the sky, eyes darting around looking for any sign of whatever ghost they were chasing, the barrel of the gun still smoking. Danny is standing next to them , looking miserable and covered in green goo.
When Dash looks closer, he can see that Danny is itching at a spot on his skin that the green goo is touching. Underneath it the skin is turning red. An unsettling feeling worms its way into his stomach and he quickens his pace without thinking.
“These blasted ghosts! They’re all such terrible creatures!” Danny’s dad bellows into the sky.
“Imagine when we finally get our hands on him, Jack! All the experiments and dissection we could perform! It’ll be a scientific breakthrough!” Danny’s mom shouts with enthusiasm.
Dash is horrified. He knew Danny’s parents were ghost hunters, and so they in turn hunted Phantom, but he had never thought of the implications of what that actually meant. What would happen if they actually got their hands on him. Dash just about starts running towards them.
“Hey, Danny.” Dash says, a little out of breath.
Danny just gives him this look and Dash starts scrambling for some sort of excuse.
“Hey, uh, I just remembered that we have that project we have to work on together. Do you want to work on it at the Nasty Burger with me? I was just heading there. My treat.”
Danny is still giving Dash this: what are you going on about? look.
“Dash, I don’t think we have any-” Danny starts, but he stops when he sees Dash pointedly looking and nodding in the direction of his parents. “Oh. OH. THAT project. I remember now. Sure. Let’s go to the Nasty Burger.”
When Danny’s parents give him a mushy goodbye, he waves them off and Dash and Danny start heading in the direction of the Nasty Burger. They walk for a bit in silence before Danny decides to call Dash out on it.
“So what gives?” He asks. “Why’d you do that? It’s not like it was your problem or anything.”
Dash starts scrambling for an excuse. It’s not like he could just tell Danny right here and now that he knew his secret. Knew that the goo that he was currently wearing was burning away at his skin.
“Oh, uh.” Dash starts. “They just seemed so oblivious to the fact that you seemed to be having an allergic reaction to whatever is in that goo stuff. Yeah. I figured I’d get you out of there so that you could get cleaned up.”
Danny raises an eyebrow at him, a skeptical look on his face.
“Why do you care so much?” Danny asks. “You’ve been so nice to me lately, not that I’m complaining, but it’s really unusual. So what gives?”
“”Uh.” Dash rubs at the back of his neck. “Well. You see. I had a realization the other day and, consequently, realized that what I was doing may or may not have been bad. And so I’m trying to change for the better. Or grow up. Choose your pick.”
Danny snorts. “Okay. Right. Well, I hope you actually plan on buying me some food because you won’t be getting rid of me until you do.”
Shaking his head, Dash replies. “Sure, but let’s get you cleaned up first.”
QQQQQ
Two weeks go by since Dash got Danny out of that sticky situation, and he wasn’t sure that he could call them friends yet, but ever since then they’ve been talking a lot more. He thinks they were at least getting there.
He was walking home from yet another boring day at school when he heard some fighting down the street he was walking past. Turning his head, he sees Danny fighting another ghost while also being shot at by his parents. So far it seems like Danny’s been doing okay at dodging his parents attacks while trying to subdue the other ghost. He finally pulls it into the thermos and he was standing still long enough for his parents to finally get a shot in on his lower back.
Danny starts falling out of the sky and a pit forms in his stomach. Dash starts running towards Danny and his parents, pulling his hood up over his head and face. As he got closer, he could hear Danny’s parents yelling at him, almost cackling as they celebrated their victory, shouting about how they would finally get to dissect him, and how they were going to do it. Dash was horrified.
Dash barrels right between them, scooping Danny up the best he could without slowing down too much. As he runs away, he can hear the Fenton’s shouting behind him, their weapons charging up as they command him to stop. In his arms he can feel Danny grimacing.
He opens one eye to look up at him.
“Dash?”
He opens his mouth to reply when he hears one of the guns go off behind him.
“Jesus christ!” Dash shouts, narrowly missing the shot as he turns down another street and quickly ducks into an alley. It’s no use though, the Fenton’s are still hot on their trail.
A bright white ring appears around Danny’s waist but it looks like he wills it away with great concentration, looking exhausted once it’s gone. Dash turns into another alleyway when it happens again and he realizes what it is.
Dash ducks down a little and whispers.
“Transform.”
Danny looks up at him, eyes wide in panic. “What do you mean?” He asked, his voice rushed.
“You need to transform back.”
“I- I don’t know what you’re talking about. What would I be transforming to?” Danny asks, feigning ignorance.
“Danny-”
Another shot fires as Dash runs down the street and he nearly trips over his feet to dodge it. He knocks over a couple of trash cans behind him to hopefully put some kind of distance between them and he hears Danny’s dad trip and fall over them, his mom stopping to help him up.
“I can’t keep running forever.” Dash says. “You need to transform so we can send your parents on a wild goose chase.”
Danny’s eyes open wide at that and they turn into their final alley, a dead end.
Dash watches as a battle plays over Danny’s face for a few moments before he makes a decision and he summons those white rings and detransforms. Danny jumps out of Dash’s arms and winces and before Dash can grab him again, Danny is pushing down his hood, tucking it out of sight, and pulling him into a kiss.
Dash’s eyes open wide and his mind is whirling. What’s happening? Dash doesn’t know if he’s supposed to kiss Danny back or not, but before he could do anything he hears the sound of weapons charging up behind him and Danny’s parents shouting.
“Put your hands up!”
Dash jumps and pulls away, Danny following suit, hand still on his arm to support himself.
“Mom! Dad!” Danny shouts.
At the sight of their son, the Fenton’s lose all hostility.
“Oh ho ho, who is this Dannyboy? We didn’t know you had a boyfriend.” Jack says, looking like he’s about to start doting on Dash when Danny waves him away.
“Uh. This is Dash.” Danny says. “Jazz has tutored him before. You guys have actually met a couple times. He went to those ghostkateer meetings.”
Dash gives him a quizzical look. He never went to any ghostkateer thing.
“Oh! That’s right!” His mom exclaims. “If we had known you two were dating we would have invited you to dinner! Would you want to come over tonight for-”
“Mom!” Danny shouts, embarrassed. “Weren’t you guys doing something a moment ago? You looked like you were chasing after something.”
Like a switch was flipped, Dash watches as they slip back into their previous mindset.
“We were just about to capture Phantom when some punky jock came by and stole our prize!” Jack shouted. He narrowed his eyes and looked at Dash. “That wasn’t you, was it?”
Dash vigorously shook his head.
“Nope! Not Dash!” Danny shouted. “He’s been here with me the whole time. But we did see a different jock run by down the street. Maybe it was them?”
“Right! Of course! Thanks, son!” Jack runs off and Maddie follows after him after giving Danny a kiss on the cheek. Danny rubs it off as they watch them run away and then they were alone.
Dash’s face felt red and he looked at Danny who was still holding onto his arm. When Danny meets his gaze, a blush appears on his own face, and he lets go of Dash’s arm before wincing and grabbing back onto him again.
“Okay, uh.” Dash licks his lips. “What was that?”
“What?” Danny looks up at him and sees the expression on his face. “Oh. That was a fakeout makeout.”
Dash doesn’t move, stunned.
“What, you’ve never heard of a fakeout makeout before?”
Dash shakes his head, his mind still swimming over the feel of Danny’s lips on his.
Danny chuckles and starts walking, pulling Dash forward a little bit. “Come on, we gotta see what this burn looks like and treat it. And you’re going to tell me how you discovered my secret.”
Dash nodded, still lost in thought over what just happened, as Danny pulled him down the street.

Never Poke My Child
[Danny wants peace from Vlad's childish games and their fights.
Clockwork cannot always be there to save the day but he will do anything for Daniel and knows just a thing to make Vladimir stop his chase after Ghost child.
Walker owns him after all]

"Why that fruitloop…" Danny grits his teeth getting Ecto blast by Vlad Plasmius a.k.a Vlad Masters whose first Half Ghost and human just like him.
"Have you changed your mind, little badger?" Plasmius asks, floating above him. "You know I hate doing this to you"
"You know my answer will always be 'NO' to you" Danny replied, getting up from the ground and rubbing his shoulder where Vlad shot him. "Why are you so obsessed with me anyway? I thought you were after my mum? Even though I am glad you are no longer after her"
"As much as I love Maddie, which I still do! You are my top priority…"
 "Great, I feel special"
Plasmius landed on the ground and grinned. "Does that mean you will be my son?"
Danny hums fake thinking and taps his foot. "Hm…how about…NOOO!!!" He shouts, scaring the shit out of the older ghost and blowing him away using a Ghostly wail.
They were fighting outside the Casper High school building, it was weird how no one had noticed them yet except Sam and Tucker who watched their fight and worried for their friend.
 "We have to do something!"
"What can we do? If it was technology I would have been hacked and I can't call Police to help us, can we?"
Sam's eyes wide and look at Tucker. "That's it! Call Clockwork now!"
Tucker immediately pulls out his phone and calls Master of time.
The phone was specifically made by Technus that can help make a call in the Ghost Zone and the Human world with ease.
Danny and Sam find out Tucker was friends with Technus because of their shared love for Technology.
It didn't surprise them because Tucker never leaves his PDA like it's his baby and always plays with it.
"The number you try to reach is out of reach, please don't try later because I don't have time for the boy scouts, Good day" The call cut off before Tucker would speak and look at Sam with a dumbfounded expression.
 "What did he say?"
 "He…said hi?"
 "Huh?"

‘Honestly, what do they think I am? Knight in shining armor?’ Clockwork thought as he watched the mirror where Daniel and Vladimir were fighting with each other.
He cannot always interfere and saves the day.
Although he can bend rules and teach Vladimir a lesson that he will never forget.
 Yes, maybe he should.
Nonetheless, he stays there and watches over the time stream. His time hasn’t come yet and he is always on time.
Clockwork adult form changes to child form and Old form. Ah, he sometimes can’t control his forms.
“Now…How should I approach this?” He mumbled to himself. “So many choices…”
                                     _______________________
It has been 5 weeks since Danny fought with Vlad, He just hopes Vlad doesn’t decide to pop out of nowhere and attacks him again. His surprise visit always leaves him in buries and annoyance.
Currently, the group is visiting Nasty Burger after their Ghost hunt and avoiding Dash’s group who wants to bully Danny because it’s his fault he got a ‘C’ on his history test.
“I don’t even understand how that is my fault! I didn’t overshadow him and make him fail the test!” Danny says in frustration and anger.
“Did you?” Tucker and Sam ask at the same time looking at him.
“No! Why would I? I have a lot of work on my plate and fighting with ghosts…Plus ever since the Pointdexter accident I decided to never bully again…I almost became Dash in a way…” Danny replied.
 “You learn the lesson”
 “True, in a hard way…”
“Cheer up, Danny! One large meat in buns will clear all your troubles away! In fact, why don’t you come to my house? Mum will be making steak tonight”
Before Danny would say a word, his ghost sense went off, and groaned. “Great…Trouble”
All three look up at the sky where they see none other than Vlad in his Ghost form Plasmius flying and ready to fight.
Danny looks around to see no one and glares at the Halfa Ghost. “Don’t make me sue you, fruit loop! Attacking a minor and stalker is illegal!”
“It’s the Father’s job to look out for his children”
 “NOT YOUR CHILD!!”
Plasmins shrugs. “Deny as much as you want”
Danny throws his bag at Tucker and takes a stance. “I am going Ghost!”
Plasmins smirks seeing the transformation and raises his hand ready to blast him. After Transformation Danny Fenton turns into Danny Phantom, he flies toward him in speed and dodges the Ecto-Blast then slams himself into Plasmins.
“I AM GONNA KICK YOUR BUTT, FRUIT LOOP!!”
 “TRY IT, LITTLE BADGER!!”
“Gosh, they do fight like a father and son duo” Tucker commented dumbfounded.
“Don’t let Vlad hear you saying this…” Sam says already feeling tired and watching the fight. “I don’t get it…Why is he so obsessed with Danny? Why not go after his mother?”
Tucker funnily looked at her. “Do you want him to?”
Sam made a sick face and shook her head. “Nope”
Suddenly a portal opens, and Clockwork flies out of it in his child form and looks at the fight with an unreadable expression.
“Hey, it’s Clockwork!” Tucker exclaims in surprise and is startled.
Clockwork changes to his adult form and looks at the two children with a calm smile. “Hello Samantha and Tucker”
 “Here to stop the fight?”
 “In a way, yes”
“Dude, why did you ignore my call the first time?”
“I was busy” Clockwork lied easily. “Besides it isn’t my time”
Sam frowned. “What do you mean?”
They heard Danny scream and land on the ground beside them. Danny sat up and rubs his head. “A little help would be nice guys…” Danny says rubbing his head and his ghost senses went off. His eyes widen and see Clockwork floating on his side. Danny gets up and looks alert. “What are you doing here? Did something happen? Did Dan escape? Is there Timeline about to get destroyed because of me again!?”
Clockwork put his hand on his shoulder and shook his head. “I am here to give Vladimir a taste of his own medicine”
“Huh?” Danny looks confused. “What do you mean?”
“Give up already, little badger? I just-“ Plasminus froze seeing Clockwork and frowns. “What are you doing here?”
Clockwork adult form changes to old form and grins. “Duck”
Plasminus looked confused by that and yelped, getting hit from behind. Danny, Sam, and Tucker’s jaws drop seeing the attacker was none other than Walker himself along with some guards.
“Vlad Plasminus, you are under arrest!” Walker says proudly and arm crossed behind his back.
“For what?” Plasminus asks after he composes himself and looks at Wadern with a deadpan. “I didn’t do any crime!”
Walker pulls out a rule book and opens it. “Section -0991 Crime 69 ‘Assault the underage minor’ The sentence…” He shut the book and pointed his finger at him. “10,000 YEARS!!!!”
“WHAT!?!?”
Danny unconsciously turns back to his human form and looks at Clockwork. “Oh my god…you sue him for me? To Walker!?”
“I had a much more fitting lesson for him…But I found this situation very amusing besides Wadern owns me” Clockwork says grinning madly. “Now he won’t bother you for a while”
“Oh yeah…He can’t get out of Ghost Jail” Tucker said, finding this amusing as well.
“If he was in Human jail he could have gotten out easily but how will he get out of Ghost Jail…” Sam laughs. “Money won’t save him from Walker himself!”
Danny couldn’t hold himself back and hugged Clockwork. “THANK YOU!!!”
Clockwork hugs him back. “No one can touch you while I am around, Daniel”
“W-WAIT! THIS IS A MISTAKE! I AM NOT-“
“GET HIM, BOYS! DON’T LET HIM ESCAPE!”
“STOP IN THE NAME OF LAW!!”
Plasmins flies out of there like a rocket and Walker follows after him along with the squad while Danny, Clockwork, Sam, and Tucker laugh at Vlad’s dismay.
