the silence between daniel and armand manifesting itself as a red line on daniel’s recording drives me soooo insane like. it’s a red string of fate. it’s an artery. it’s waiting for a pulse on their story. it’s possibility. it’s past present and future bearing down on a line that’s about to crack. destiny has ears collecting static and it’s so awkward. and all I want to do now is write a fic where daniel and armand start recording themselves sitting together in complete silence and it gets progressively more intimate while still zero sound is made, because they enjoy each other’s mere presence in the same room.
