Danganronpa Distrust AU - Protagonist Leon AU!!! ⚾️🏏

Concept:

Leon is the protagonist instead of Makoto and Sayaka is his Support.

Kyoko is also the Mastermind in this AU instead of Junko. (Junko would be like herself in Canon and Murkuro isn’t in the main story)

I know it's hard to make out, but I can't help but wonder if the tie Kyoko is wearing in her beta Distrust design is the same red tie Celeste wears in her official design.

Odds are, it might not be. But I keep thinking that maybe the red tie Celeste wears was originally intended to be Kyoko's tie. The pattern on each tie might be different, but the resemblance on Kyoko's Distrust design just looks so similar.

So I've been kinda fond to the Danganronpa Beta version.

I really wish they made it, tho I'm happy with the actual result of the game.

But let's admit it, Danganronpa Distrust seemed VERY interesting, and went straight down to horror and different endings.

I love the admosphere and some of the beta characters because they look reasaally cool. Anyways.

Here's some deformed Sayaka for y'all because idk how to draw perspective (I tried using the beta game palette).

Back three years ago, I created a small video using a recreation of the DISTRUST (Danganronpa beta)'s trial UI to try and English translate the thing. While it's not my best video editing now, I finally decided to make a part 2 and create an English edit of the second half the original DISTRUST video

Custom assets I made are under the cut!

Monokuma's sign, handwritten as fuck.

Monokuma head transition, had to recreate this so my game over screen recreation could fade the same way.

i think Danganronpa has to be really goofy or else it'd just be unbearably sad. beyond the dark hilarity of Junko's OG plan is the concrete reality that she locked her best friends in a bunker meant to protect them from her, erased their memories, backed them into a corner, then wound up the gear and watched them go. she had specific and special darling executions set aside for each of them. her goon cave had dozens of cameras so she could both experience it live and project it into the world for all to see. machine guns lined the school so that anyone outside who tried to interfere in her little fantasy got boofed immediately. and when she was caught she told them she loved them and peaced out by suicide via all the executions she enacted. it is funny and it is so fucking awful. we needed the horny bear
