Dallas Winstonâs kid sister headcannon
A/N - I lovvvvvvvve the idea of Dallas Winston having a kid sister. So hereâs a headcannon about how it would be.
_________________________________________________
⢠Firstly there half siblings, same dad different mom.
⢠As Dallas Winstonâs little sister, youâre not just a greaser youâre a force of nature. The same reckless, no-holds-barred attitude that makes Dally infamous runs through your veins. Youâve got his sharp tongue, his âdonât mess with meâ glare, and his knack for finding trouble.
â˘Dally may not show it with hugs or sweet words, but heâs fiercely protective of you. If someone even breathes wrong in your direction, Dallyâs ready to throw down. Heâs been known to show up out of nowhere if he thinks youâre in danger, scaring off anyone who crosses you.
⢠You and Dally argue like cats and dogs, but itâs all in good fun (most of the time). Whether itâs about whoâs tougher or who got into more trouble last week, neither of you ever backs down.
⢠Growing up with Dally means you learned the ropes of street life early. He taught you how to hotwire a car, handle a switchblade, and hustle your way out of bad situations. He trusts you to hold your own, but heâs always got your back if things go south.
⢠Dally isnât the type to say âI love you,â but he has his ways of showing he cares. Heâll slip you a couple of bucks when youâre broke, leave you his last cigarette, or stand outside your job at night to make sure you get home safe.
⢠Being Dallyâs little sister comes with a certain reputation. Everyone knows not to mess with you because theyâll have to answer to him. But that doesnât stop you from proving you can handle yourself just fine without his help.
⢠Growing up with Dally means your life is full of wild stories. From sneaking into drive-ins to high-speed getaways, youâve shared adventures that most people couldnât imagine.
⢠While youâre close, thereâs always tension simmering under the surface. Dallyâs tendency to shut people out sometimes includes you, and it hurts when he wonât let you in. But you know itâs his way of protecting you from the darker parts of his world.
⢠Being Dallyâs sibling makes you an honorary part of the gang. Ponyboy sees you as another sibling, Sodaâs always ready to cheer you up, and Two-Bit loves cracking jokes at your expense. Even Johnny, quiet as he is, watches out for you like a big brother.
⢠Dally isnât the type to play the doting brother in public, but behind closed doors, heâll check in on you when you least expect it. Heâll gruffly ask if youâve eaten or toss a blanket over you if you fall asleep on the couch. Itâs these small, rare moments that show how much he really cares.
⢠Rules: Despite his âlive free or die trying attitude, Dally is surprisingly strict when it comes to you. Heâll let you get away with a lot, but thereâs an unspoken set of rules: no dating punks he doesnât approve of ( the gang, Shepards, or anyone at the matter) no ratting to the cops, and definitely no getting involved with anything that might land you in jail. Not because heâs a hypocrite, but because he doesnât want you to end up like him.
⢠Dally tries to steer you away from the worst parts of the life he leads, even if he doesnât always set the best example. Heâll warn you about trusting the wrong people or getting too comfortable in the greaser lifestyle, though his lectures are often cut short by his own bad decisions.
⢠Like Dally, youâve got a short fuse, and the two of you have had some explosive arguments over the years. Whether itâs about his recklessness or your stubbornness, your fights can shake the whole neighborhood. But no matter how bad it gets, you always make up in your own unspoken way.
⢠The gang practically adopted you the moment Dally brought you around. Two-Bit treats you like his favorite little sibling to annoy, Sodaâs always got a big grin for you, and Johnny is quietly protective of you, just like Dally. Pony sees you as the slightly wilder counterpart to himself, and Darry keeps a close eye on you when Dally isnât around.
⢠Dallyâs biggest advice to you is to never let anyone see you cry. Heâs the first to wipe your tears when youâre upset, but heâll tell you, âThe second they see youâre soft, youâre done. Toughen up.â Itâs harsh, but itâs his way of preparing you for the rough world you both live in.
⢠As Dallyâs sister, people expect you to be just as tough and untouchable as he is. While you live up to the reputation most of the time, there are moments when you hate being seen as just âDallyâs sisterâ instead of your own person.
⢠Sometimes, words arenât necessary. You and Dally can sit on a rooftop sharing a cigarette, watching the stars, and not say a word. In those quiet moments, you feel closer to him than ever, knowing he doesnât need to speak to show he cares.
⢠Though heâd never admit it, Dallyâs biggest fear is losing you. Youâre one of the few people who keep him tethered to the world, and heâd burn the whole city down before he let anyone hurt you. If you ever got caught in trouble you couldnât handle, Dally would do whatever it took to pull you out even if it meant sacrificing himself.
⢠No matter how much you fight or how much trouble you get into, Dally is your brother, and no one can take that away. You both know that when it comes down to it, youâd do anything for each other even if youâd rather die than admit it out loud.

can you write something about how the gang handles a really emotional Curtis sister... Like she literally doesn't even know why shes crying most of the time she just is. She is literally me
send me requests for the outsiders!
--
At Dallas's groan, "Ah, here come the fuckin' waterworks again," all eyes are on you. You'd been hoping to fly under the radar, but now that seven pairs of eyes are staring at you, your tears escape hot and free down your cheeks.
"It's- I'm fine!" You insist, voice thick and choppy as you rush for the bathroom. You don't shut the door, because even if you did you know someone would have barged in. It's predictably Darry and Soda, but Two-Bit lingers in the hallway, peering in worriedly.
"You're okay, kid." Darry encourages you, a strong hand on your shoulder to help you get yourself under control, "Somethin' the matter?"
"What's with the tears, Baby Curtis?" Two asks, "Movie gettin' to 'ya?"
It's a horror movie- it's safe to say you're not sniffling over blood and guts.
"No, it's-" You sniffle, letting Sodapop tug you into his side where he's now perched on the lid of the toilet. He slings an arm around your waist and you lean gratefully into his side, thankful for the pressure of a body against yours.
"It's nothing. I don't know." You shrug helplessly, and Two smiles- kindly, not teasingly.
"You've got a condition or somethin'." He decides, traipsing back into the living room, "We oughta turn you in to a doctor, have them diagnose you with some crazy new brain condition. Maybe they could name it after you, kid."
"Yeah, Crybaby Curtis syndrome," Steve snickers, and Soda shouts a halfhearted, 'Be nice!' to his friend despite not being able to see him.
"Lay off, Steve," Johnny groans, and you hear Ponyboy chime in with a fervent, 'Yeah!' that he would have kept to himself had Johnny not led the charge. Despite having the upper hand, Ponyboy still struggles to pick fights with Steve. Usually it's a losing battle.
"Come on, kiddo." Darry urges, and Soda sticks close to your side as you shuffle back into the living room. Dallas doesn't move aside to give you your old seat back where he's stretched out over half of it, but he also doesn't protest when you throw your leg over his own to fit on the cushion.
"You've gotta man up, kid." Dally decides, snatching his cigarette out of his mouth and blowing the smoke into your face, "Can't be burstin' into tears all the time. People are gonna think you're weak."
"I am weak," You concede feebly, wiping at one last tear that streaks down your cheeks, "I don't know why it happens most'uh the time. Just does."
"Some people are just like that." Johnny smiles kindly at you, and you appreciate his sweetness, "We ain't gonna judge you."
"It'll be great for gettin' out of trouble," Sodapop grins mischieviously at you, "Just think, when you're a wild child in high school, and you're comin' home drunk at 2AM, Darry's gonna yell at you. Just flash him those teary eyes of yours and he'll get all soft for 'ya, he'll let you off real easy."
"Hey- Don't you go givin' her any ideas." Darry points a warning finger at Soda, and Ponyboy scoffs, surely jealous at the prospect of your secret weapon.
You share a secret smile with Soda, though, one that's hidden from both of your brothers. Two-Bit catches it and snorts, "Damn, Darry. I'm not itchin' to be you in a few years."
"Well then you'd better start hangin' out at your own house every once in a while," Darry glares at him, "You spend so much time here I'm gonna give you a chore on the chore chart."
"I don't even do chores at my own place," Two-Bit snickers, like the suggestion is the funniest one he's ever heard. He stretches his arm out behind your head, resting it on your far shoulder, "Just call me whenever you're goin' to those parties, Y/N, and I'll get drunker'n you, make you look like a saint in comparison."
"Dally's a saint in comparison to you, Two-Bit," Ponyboy gripes, "Just don't climb through my window expecting me to help you sneak past Darry."
"Now I mean it, boys," Darry snaps, "Don't go givin' her ideas! Conversation over."
Dallas waits all of three seconds before leaning down, tucking his face beside your ear so that he can drawl, "I'll teach you how to sneak past him if you can go without cryin' for a day."
"Deal." You hold out a pinky for him to link with his own, and if anyone else in Tulsa had offered it, they'd have gotten slugged. Instead, Dallas's finger curls around yours, and he shoots you a shit-eating grin, eyes glimmering dangerously, "24 hours, crybaby. Don't let me down."

look at me, I'm sandra dee the outsiders headcanons
synopsis :
what would happen if Ponyboy Curtis had a twin sister? with her curling iron, checkered dresses, baking recipes and nail polish.. how would the gang deal with a sandy olson bloke?
or headcanons for being the only Curtis' sister.
worcount : 1,4k â masterlist đđ navigation post
tags/warnings : third person pov, cuss words, canon-violence, typical sexist female steryotipes, 60's view in feminity, the gang (*cough**cough* Dallas and Steve *cough**cough*) bullying her in a friendly manner, the reader is kinda like sandy from grease.
The whole gang was sitting on the couch of the Curtis' living room, the TV playing Mickey Mouse. It was silent except for the sound of Darry cooking in the kitchen. Or that was until.. "DALLAS WINSTON!!!" your voice boomed across the whole house, just as all the greasers in the living room snapped their heads in the direction of your room Dallas came running through the hall while laughing his ass off. He was holding your curling iron in one of his hands, the cable pretty much flying behind him with how quick he was running. "I don't know no Dallas Winston, princess!" was his yelled out reply before he disappeared into the kitchen. It wasn't even two seconds before they saw you running hot on his trail, half of your hair neatly done and the other still without styling. "hey!" that was Darry's voice. "what the hell are you two gooses doing?!?"
⎠to say you're shielded would be an understatement.
⎠ever since you were born, as the only babygirl in the household, both your brothers and your parents have taken care of you.
⎠yeah, you fought with Ponyboy a lot in your toddler years âespecially about your toys, but you all cared for each other.
⎠and now that you're in the gang, it's like the protectiveness has multiplied enormously.
⎠as the only girl in the group, you're the designated babysitter for Two-Bit's little sister if he ever has to bring her along. ^you'll both be in your room, doing her hair or painting her nails. ^she adores you.
⎠the gang bullies you in a friendly way, and I mean that Dallas likes to make fun of your girly things (nail polish, curlers, plushies, etc)
⎠Darry does all the cooking in the house, but you do the baking.
⎠Steve loves you.
⎠like he loves you a lot.
⎠whenever the gang comes by to hang out at the house, you've baked or are baking something sweet for all of them to eat and he devours your chocolate cake like a fucking animal.
⎠they all smoke like two packs of cancer sticks a day, but god forbid you ever touch one of those Darry'll cut your hand off.
⎠you're not allowed to smoke or drink. ^Dallas has sneaked you a few cans of beer sometimes.
⎠one time Dallas made fun of you for the faces you pulled while putting on mascara and the next second he had Steve and Soda holding him down forcefully as you put mascara on him. ^he was full on kicking and squirming around like the girl in the exorcist and screaming as if you were burning him đ
⎠since then he keeps his traps shut about you and your make-up.
⎠you're actually Johnny's favourite out of the whole gang btw.
⎠you're calm, and giggly and spend your time doing unharmful and enjoyable things that he'd take over fighting anyday.
⎠he likes to sit on your bed, reading one of your books, while you curl your hair or put on make-up.
⎠Ponyboy is your forced and reluctant fashion man that will tell you "yeah, it looks good, like the one before" when you show him an outfit.
⎠Soda's your biggest hypeman though, he'll actually tell you some pretty good advice on what looks better on you.
⎠Darry won't admit it, but when you dress in something frilly or pink it gives him nostalgia of when you were a 6 year-old toddler running around on your glittery pink princess dresses.
⎠We all know Soda is the middle man between Darry and Pony all the time. You, on the other hand, are never taken into account in their discussions.
⎠Sad but true, they don't really hold your opinions as that important because you "don't know how the world works"
⎠Steve and Dallas are always teasing you like those annoying gossip aunts in the Christmas dinner asking about a boyfriend.
⎠they don't know you're staying clear of boys for your eldest brother's sake. Darry really doesn't need the additional stress of you being with some boy he doesn't know that well.
⎠Anytime Tim comes to the house for whatever he'll give you clothes from his sister or stuff that she's grown out like a specific colour of nail polish or whatever.
⎠you're not allowed to go to the rumbles, firstly because Ponyboy isn't either due to age and because you're a girl.
⎠greasers don't pick fights with society girls, but society boys do pick fights with greaser girls.
⎠you've got a curfew, and Darry will get even more worried than when he did with Pony if you ever get late.
⎠you've got princess treatment from Soda and Steve whenever you drop by at the gas station to keep them company.
⎠they tell you to just 'sit there and be pretty' (referring to the counter) whenever one of them has to go attend a customer.
⎠you've actually, embarassingly so, when you were
younger had a huge crush on Dallas.
⎠you were 10 and he was the handsome bad boy that tugged on your ponytails, what were you supposed to do?
⎠he found out three years later, once you no longer where crushing on him, because Two-Bit ran his mouth too much and now he mocks you on it and calls you all kinds of nicknames just for funsies.
⎠god forbid any of the boys hurts you with an insensitive comment because Darry will knock their teeth out of their mouths without hesitation.
⎠one time Two-Bit said that your dress looked dumb while he was drunk and Darry grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and forced him to apologise to you and tell you that your dress was really pretty.
⎠talking about dresses and Darry, he always measures that your skirt goes at least two fingers over your knee before letting you go out lol.
⎠overall they just act like a bunch of overprotective âand idioticâ older brothers.

Summary: The gang sees you get hit on
Warnings: none
Authors note: none
Everything about you exuded beauty, the way you smiled and how you hair fell about your shoulder. You were, perhaps, seen as the prettiest girl in your school, and while you could flaunt it, you preferred being humble about it.
The sun beat down on your face, illuminating your soft lines and plump lips. You peered down the street to watch for oncoming cars, the gang following in stringing clusters behind you.
It was the first week of summer break, and Darry decided to take you all to a small beach village as a nice vacation and because the weather was so nice.
You shielded your eyes from the bright sunlight and crossed the open road to the pier that overlooked the sea. You could hear the waves crash against the rocks and the hoots and holler of the gang. A blond boy stepped up to you, eyes squinted because of the sun. He smiled at you, his freckled cheeks dusted with a pink blush.
"Hello?" You smiled, shining like a pearl.
"Hello," He smiled back, "You from around here?"
Your lips drew back into a thin line, annoyed at the attempt.
"No," You stated plainly, turning back to the sea. The gang filed in behind you, watching the young boy with a mixture of emotions but none, you could sense, we're good.
"Well, I could introduce you to the place," He gestured out to the village and you shook your head.
"Not interested, thank you," You said, and Soda patted your shoulder.
"You sure? I'm pretty well-versed in this area," He smiled again.
"Kid, she said no, beat it," Dallas said, lighting a cancer stick and letting the smoke curl in the sea breeze.
"Yeah man, back off my sister," Sodapop clicked his tongue I'm annoyance.
"Chill man," the boy raised his hands in surrender before walking away.
"This girl gets hit on everywhere we go," Two Bit remarked, lazily looking out over to the sea.
"Yeah, it's really annoying" Ponyboy grumbled. You laughed lightheartedly and continued walking down the pier.
"Hey, if a guy every bothers you like that again, come tell me, alright?" Darry patted your shoulder.
"See, I wouldn't mind getting hit on like Y/n" Steve said, taking off his obnoxious sunglasses that he swore made him "look cool".
"I would," Johnny remarked, walking alongside you.
"I mind when it's my damn sister getting hit on," Sodapop adjusted his hat, the coastal winds ruffling his hair.
"Oh please, it's fine," You shook your head and laughed.
"Seriously, kid, if someone bothers you like that, you come tell us" Two Bit looked you in the eye, his serious face catching slightly off guard.
"Alright" You gave him a soft smile.
"Promise?" Steve nudged You.
"Of course,"

a/n: ty for this request!! i forgot how much i loved writing for the outsiders lol. just wanted to say that requests are super helpful, bc i often have writerâs block lmao. just send me an ask & iâll write it!! (rn i have a lot of motivation to write for the outsiders, dead poets society and house md!!) again, these could be scenarios or headcanons, and can include the reader or not! the only rule i have is no nsfw :)
taglist: none right now for the outsiders!! (message me or send me an ask if youâd like to be included!!)
--------------------â°--------------------
âalright, câmon ace! you can do it ⌠go go go!!â
you bit back a smile at the loud cheers coming from your brother sodapop. a quick glance told you that he was right there, next to the dugout, with your other brother, ponyboy. you wondered if maybe darry got off of work in time to see you, but the quick call of the umpire quickly snapped your attention back to the task at hand. the sun was beating down on that hot april afternoon, and a bead of sweat came down your forehead. you adjusted your stance on home base, making sure your grip on the bat was tight. the game was tied, and you it was up to you to win. then the pitcher made his move, and there you were, swinging your bat.Â
ây/n! run! câmon!!âÂ
you were running alright. and now you ran even faster, having heard darryâs voice cheering you on. this was where you belonged, on the diamond. you could see the other team scramble for the ball, your own teammates cheering as you rounded the bases easily. one of the outfielders tried to throw the ball to the boy on third base, but it wasnât going to phase you. gritting your teeth, you had an explosion of speed, and slid onto home base just in time. your teammates erupted into cheers as the game ended. you took off your helmet, a big grin taking over your face. you nodded to your brothers, and went over to get a drink of water.
you teammates were there to congratulate you, slapping you on the back and mussing up your hair. as the only girl on your schoolâs baseball team, you had quickly shown the boys that you were nothing to be messed with. growing up with three brothers, as well as the pseudo-brothers in your gang, you were way tougher than anyone thought. although, many of the boys in your gang still thought of you as fragile and delicate, despite years of showing them otherwise.
âaw, y/n, that was an AMAZING game!!â came the excited yell of your brother ponyboy as he bounded over to you, followed close behind by ponyboy and darry.Â
âthanks, soda.â you said, and you couldnât hide a smile. you took a hand to your cheek, trying to wipe some of the grease paint off.Â
âhere, use this.â darry said, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a couple tissues. one glace at him told you that he had come straight from work. he looked tired, but happy. âgood job, kid. now give me that bat. we need somethinâ to eat.â
âhow about the dingo?â you asked, handing darry the bat and your helmet, then taking a swig of water.
âaw, y/n, i donât wanna go to the dingo.â ponyboy said, shaking his head.
âdid you hit the winninâ run today, pony?â you grinned, nudging your younger brother. âi didnât think so!!â you, darry, and soda began to walk away, towards the road that would get you to the diner. ponyboy hung his head, kicking the dirt on the diamond, but he followed the three of you after a moment.Â
the dingo wasnât exactly the BEST place to hang out, but they could make a damn good milkshake and fries. plus, without steve there, you would finally be able to have food to yourself, instead of him stealing it all the time! it was a short walk from the diamond -- only about ten minutes. however, as you got closer, a familiar truck in the parking lot caught your eye.
âoh n-â you started, but they were already runninâ towards you. of course the gang was here. of course. in the blink of an eye, two-bit and steve had already tackled soda and pony, and dally and johnny came over to you.
âhow come your forehead has that bruise, shortcake?â dally said, leaning in to check it out. you had almost forgotten about it yourself, since it had happened earlier in the week.
âoh, nothinâ, dal.â
âdoesnât look like nothinâ.â johnny muttered, brow drawn with concern.
âaw, tell âem, y/n. itâs a good story!!â pony spoke loudly, dusting himself off as he got up, finally. you shifted your weight, suddenly seeming a bit less confident than usual.
âlemme guess.â two-bit started, and you turned to face him, an amused smile on your face. âyou probably slipped or somethinâ.â
âaw, lay off two. she ainât that bad on her feet!!â steve said, punching him in the arm. the gang turned towards you expectantly, pony flashing a huge grin.
âwell, i had a baseball game. not the one from today, it was a couple days ago. this guy on the other team started callinâ me names. yâknow, stupid stuff. i didnât think it would bother me. well, the ump started to tell me to shut up, all i was sayinâ was for him to stop!â
âand then whatâd ya say?â johnny asked, completely invested.
âso then i get to third base. i decide not to go to home, âcause that would be too close of a call, yâknow? so iâm on third base, and this jackassâŚâ you quickly fixed your words after a stern look from darry. âthis⌠guy thinks heâs all tough or somethinâ. i try to go and run, but he trips me! i fell and hit my head and everything. the ump didnât catch it, so i got up. heâs laughinâ so hard, and all iâm thinkinâ is that i wish he would shut up. so then i punched him.â
steve did a double take at that, and your smile grew.Â
âthat shut him up pretty quickly.â
âshut him up?â pony began, excitement boiling over. âshut him up??? he was about to cry!â
âyeah!â soda agreed, illustrating by mocking the bullyâs crying. âjust like this. he ran off to the umpire, who totally called him on his problems.â
âhey, good for you, kid.â dallas spoke, nodding approvingly.
âwow.â johnny remarked, nodding as well.
âi didnât even think you had it in you!!â steve spoke, messing up your hair. you made a fist to him, and he flinched.Â
âyeah, you better watch it randle!!â darry cleared his throat, and you put it down. âsorry.â
âmaybe you should be our bodyguard from now on!â two-bit remarked, throwing an arm around your neck as you all made your way to the entrance of the dingo. ây/n curtis, the tuffest chick in tulsa!"
"and don't you forget it!" you remarked, grinning from ear to ear.

âI promise I ainât gonna hurt herâŚâ
ᯞ Summary : Dally has a crush on (Y/N) but her brothers tell him if he going to date her then donât break her heart.
ᯞ dallas winston x curtis!sister reader

Dallas â Dally â Winston, the tough and brooding Greaser, had a secret: he had a major crush on (Y/N) Curtis, the sister of Ponyboy, SodaPop, and Darry. Dally had always been a bit of a loner, but there was something about (Y/N) that drew him in. He loved watching her from afar, admiring her beauty and grace.
But Dally knew that his feelings were forbidden. The Curtis brothers were like family to him, and he didn't want to risk losing their friendship by revealing his true feelings. So he kept his crush hidden, even as he found excuses to spend more time with (Y/N).
Ponyboy, SodaPop, and Darry noticed Dallyâs growing interest in (Y/N) and exchanged suspicious glances. "What's going on with Dally and (Y/N) ?" Ponyboy asked his brothers one day.
"I don't know, but I don't like it," Darry replied, his brow furrowed.
SodaPop just shook his head. "Dally is always gettinâ into trouble. I bet he's got a crush on her."
One day, as Dally was hanging out at the Curtis's house, Ponyboy cornered him. "Listen, Dally, we need to talk."
"What's up, Pon?" Dally asked, his heart racing.
"It's about (Y/N) . We've noticed you've been spendinâ a lot of time with her, and we just want to make sure you're not goinâ to hurt her," Ponyboy said, his eyes serious.
Dally felt a flush rise to his cheeks. "I wouldn't do that, Pon, I promise I ainât goinâ to hurt her ⌠I love her ."
"Okay, but if you're goinâ to date her, you need to be honest with her. No games, no breakinâ her heart," Darry said, his voice firm.
Dally nodded, feeling a weight lift off his shoulders. "I promise, guys. I'll be honest with her."
With the Curtis brothers' blessing, Dally finally worked up the courage to ask (Y/N) out. To his delight, she said yes.
As they started dating, Dally was true to his word. He treated (Y/N) with kindness and respect, and she fell for him hard. The Curtis brothers watched with relief as Dallas and (Y/N) 's relationship blossomed.
Thanks to Dallyâs honesty and vulnerability, he won not only (Y/N)âs heart but also the approval of her protective brothers.

Hiiii! can you do a Dallas Winston x Curtis Sister Reader (maybe sodapop's twin?) who is soooo different than soda. She's a firecracker with a mouth on her that gets her in trouble? Dally finds himself repeatedly rescuing the Curtis sister reader, who always seems to get into trouble with her sharp tongue and rebellious streak. Each encounter brings them closer, revealing an unexpected connection between the tough greaser and the feisty Curtis sibling?? i think this would be a dope 3x1!! i LOVE your 3x1's you nail them every time
First, thank you!! and heck yes I can get this written for you! Love me some Dally and a spitfire reader, espcially a Curtis sister reader. Maybe she feels a little neglected by her brothers after her momma passed away and she needs that human connection again. what better way to get it than acting out?

"boundaries" - dallas winston
summary: dallas carries y/n to bed
pairing: dallas winston x curtis sister!reader
word count: 478
a/n: idk if this is a dead fandom but at least three times a year i remember that the outsiders exists and become obsessed again lol
Y/N hadnât been sleeping well lately, so when she fell asleep on the couch Darry couldnât bring himself to risk waking her up. The most he dared to do was drape a blanket over his sleeping sister before retreating to his bedroom for the night.
Dallas, however, didnât give a shit.
He needed somewhere to sleep, and she was in his designated spot.
Dally had just lifted Y/N into his arms when her eyelids fluttered open, still weighed down by sleep.
âDarry?â
âNoâshut up and go back to sleep.â
Y/Nâs eyes snapped open at Dallyâs unexpected voice and briefly registered him carrying her across the living room.
âWhere we goinâ?â Y/Nâs voice came out in a mumble as her eyes fell shut again.
âBed. Need a place to crash tonight.â
âAnd you chose my room? Gonna be a tight fit.â
Glory, sheâs annoying even when sheâs barely conscious, Dally thought, but he was too tired to be his usual combative self.
The hallway was dark, but he could see the shimmer of her eyes looking up at him from the void. He never liked the way she looked at himâthere was too much hope, too much recognition, too much of an implication that she knew something he didnât.
Dallas wasnât exactly known for being respectful, but Darryâs acceptance of him meant a lot more to him than he would ever be willing to admitâeven to himself. So, despite becoming quite fond of Y/N, he kept his distance. If there was one thing Dallas loved to do, it was to test the boundaries of every relationship heâs ever had, both friendly and romantic.
This was one boundary Dallas had reservations about crossing.
âDo you hate me, Dallas?â There was a softness in Y/Nâs voice that was rare to hear coming from the girl.
Dallas paused in the threshold of Y/Nâs bedroom and dared a glance down into her eyes, but quickly snapped out of it and kept moving across the room to her small bed.
âNo, stupid.â He unceremoniously dropped her on the bed and turned to move out of the room, but he was stopped by her calling out to him.
âYou not gonna tuck me in, Winston?â
He threw a glance over his shoulder and was met with the knowing glint in her eyes that he was ever-growing uneasy of.
Catching himself, he snapped back into character, scoffing and throwing a stupid plush dog at her head. He remembered the gangâs trip to the state fair a few years back, remembered how excited she was when Soda won it for her after seven tries at the ring toss, and he remembered her shoving it in his face while teasing that the K-9 unit was coming for his sorry ass.
âGo to bed.â
The door closed behind him with a solid thud.
Stupid girl.
~~~
i'm trying to get back in the writing groove but i'm so uninspired lolâfeedback is appreciated as usual :)
secret relationship with dally | dallas winston x curtis ! reader Ë đŚšâ・Ë
-
dallas winston, a name notorious even within his own gang. though your brothers were close friends with him, they never failed to remind you to stay cautious around himâ god knows what heâd do to a girl like you. dallas has always been dubbed âthe mean oneâ, âthe dangerous oneâ, âthe one that had nothing ahead of him.â in the words of your younger brother, pony, âhe had been arrested, he got drunk, he rode in rodeos, lied, cheated, rolled drunks, jumped small kidsâ he did everything.â
despite the number of people that warned you about dallas, there was something so irresistible about him that you couldnât quite put your finger on. his subtle, yet flirtatious comments, were enough to turn you into a tomato-red mess. over the course of a few months, the two of you gradually spent more and more time together. from late night drives around tulsa to watching the sunriseâ you name it, you and dallas have done it. if thereâs one thing youâve learned about him during your secret little dates, itâs that things are not always as they seem. dally isnât as âroughâ as you thought he was, and it would be a lot harder explaining your relationship to your brothers than you thought itâd be.
the clouds outside your window are enveloping the night sky, twinkling stars peeking through the moonlight. despite how loud sodaâs snoring gets, youâve learned to tune it out by distracting yourself with a book. your nose is stuffed into little women, the book that dally recommended to you a few nights prior (and admittedly cried to while reading; his tear stains have literally seeped into the pages.) just as you were beginning to fall asleep, the sound knocking on your window startled you into wakefulness. who could be outside at this hour?
you pull your blanket off, scurrying around the room for something you can use for defense. after all those horror movies youâve watched where the killer breaks into the victimâs house, youâd think you had at least some sort of knife or a pair of scissors you could use to protect yourself. but for now, that can of hairspray on your vanity will have to doâ maybe you could spray your killerâs eyes and blind him?
as you make your way towards the window, the hairspray can in your hand, a familiarly gruff voice begins to utter something. âopen up, doll! youâve got me all romeo and juliet-ing right now!â
you let out a sigh of relief, sliding open the window. thank god it was just dallas, but what was he doing at your window while everyone else is asleep?
âyou scared me, you know? i couldâve-â you look down at your can of hairspray, then set it onto your window sill. âi couldâve sprayed you with that, and then your face would be stuck forever!â
âwhat, you donât like my handsome face?â he smirks. itâs that stupid, cocky smirk that he always does, and he looks damn handsome doing it.
you roll your eyes at his remark, sliding the window back down. âjust get in bed, you must be cold from standing out there.â
dallasâ eyes dart around your room, taking a moment to observe all of his surroundings. compared to all of the feminine aspects in your room, he sticks out like a sore thumb, practically drowning in a pool of lace and pearls. he then takes a seat on the edge of your bed, rubbing his hand along your floral sheets as he picks out a teddy bear from your collection of stuffed animals lined up against your bed.
âwhatâs with all these, uh.. stuffed animals?â he holds up your favorite out all the stuffed animals, ruffling the top of its head.
you take the teddy bear, putting it back in its original position. âi guess i never really got rid of them,â you shrug. âwe need to get some sleep.â
âwe?â he raises a brow.
you slide into your bed, lifting up the blanket for him. âyes, we. arenât you tired?â
âi guess.â dallas slips into bed beside you, wrapping his arms around you as he takes in your scent. though heâll never admit it, heâs always loved the way you smelt like freshly baked cookiesâ it brings a soft of comfort to him that he never received. your scent reminds him of a warm bonfire, the sound of crackling overlapping with laughter. to him, you are the home he never had, the love he never knew existed in such a cold heart like his. you were his solace.
his hand moved up to your shoulder, gently running his fingers through your hair and twirling a strand. his touch was soothing against your skin, careful to not accidentally wake you. soon enough, both of you were asleep, safe and sound.
the next morning, youâre awoken by a loud, screeching noise, but much to your surprise, it isnât your alarm. your eldest brother, darry, is furiously shaking you and dallas awake.
âY/N, WHAT THE HELL IS DALLAS DOING IN YOUR BED?â
you groggily wipe your eyes, taking a glance at dally, then looking up at darry. âitâs 8 in the morning, and why do you care that heâs sleeping with me?!â
âi care because itâs dallas weâre talking about, god dammit! get him out of your bed!â darry flips over the blanket, shaking him awake.
the sound of darryâs yelling echoes throughout the house and eventually wakes up pony and soda. the two of them rush into your room, and as soon as they realize that dallas is beside you in your bed, their mouths are left agape.
âholy shit, y/n! youâve been hanging around with dal this whole time?â soda huffs out a chuckle, too stunned to even be angry at you.
pony rubs his temples, shaking his head. âyou guys are gross.â
dallas sits up, groaning and putting his hands up as if heâs surrendering. âokay, we were sleepinâ together, big deal!â he sighs. âjust- look, darry, i ainât mean to make you upset or whatever! â
darry lets out a rough exhale, taking a step back from the two of you. he motions for pony and soda to leave with a death glare, then looks back at you as theyâre making their way back to their room.
âyou know what, iâm not dealing with this right now. weâll sort everything out by the evening, got it?â
the two of you nod, exchanging satisfied grins. maybe by the evening, your brothers will come to their senses and realize that dallas isnât really that âmeanâ or âviolentâ guy they perceive him to be, but someone with so much love in his heart thatâs hidden underneath a façade.
âiâll keep you my dirty little secret.. â .á âËâšâĄ
âš side note : iâm so sorry this took so long! it usually doesnât take me more than a week to finish a fic, but iâve had a lot to do and this fic is a bit lengthier than my others
Here's another one, the outsiders boys having to babysit I feel it would be cute n hectic
Sincerely
The greaser who's bad at ideas aka bug
STAWP HI BUG! Okay love this idea.
Sincerely
Someone who barley can write and truly tries to wing it.
_________________________________________________
Darrel Curtis
At first, Darry hesitates when his partner asks him to babysit. Heâs already used to wrangling Ponyboy and Sodapop, so the idea of watching over a baby feels like unfamiliar territory. But he agrees because, letâs face it, heâs a total softie when it comes to them.
Before they arrives, Darry goes into full protective mode. He double checks the sharp edges of furniture, hides any dangerous objects, and makes sure the babyâs play area is safe. Soda and Pony think heâs overdoing it and tease him relentlessly.
The moment there dropped off, Darry immediately slips into big brother mode. He approaches babysitting like itâs a job careful, responsible, and always on high alert.
Heâs great with his brothers, but with a baby, heâs initially stiff and awkward. Holding them feels like balancing a football, and heâs overly cautious with every move. âAm I doing this right?â becomes his most used phrase of the day.
Seeing Darry struggle, Soda jumps in to help. Heâs a natural with kids and instantly gets the baby laughing. Darry watches him and starts to loosen up, slowly building confidence.
To Darryâs surprise (and mild frustration), the baby seems to adore Ponyboy. Every time Pony walks into the room, they giggle and reaches for him, making Darry mutter, âWell, I guess Iâm chopped liver.â
When the baby gets fussy, Darry tells them stories about when he was a kid. His deep voice and animated expressions captivate them, and soon enough, there calm and smiling.
At some point, things inevitably go wrong. The baby manages to knock over a bowl of cereal or spill juice on his shirt. Darry sighs but quickly cleans up, grumbling about how âthis is harder than roofing.â
Getting them to nap is a whole ordeal. Darry tries rocking them, singing softly, and even reading them one of Ponyâs books. When nothing works, he finally gets Soda to lend a hand, and together they manage to get the baby to sleep.
Once there asleep, Darry canât help but feel a wave of pride. He watches the baby sleep for a moment, realizing heâs not as bad at this babysitting thing as he thought.
When his partner comes to pick up the baby , they find Darry on the floor playing peek-a-boo. They teases him about how good he is with kids, and his ears turn red. âItâs no big deal,â he mumbles, trying to play it cool.
Despite his initial reluctance, Darry secretly enjoyed the experience. Later, he jokes to Soda and Pony that babysitting is harder than dealing with a gang fight, but they catch the small smile on his face.
Sodapop Curtis
When his partner asks him to babysit there baby sister, Sodapop is all in. Heâs confident, saying, âBabies love me. Thisâll be a breeze!â His natural charm and easygoing attitude make him feel like heâs got it under control.
The second the baby is dropped off, Soda crouches to her level and starts playing peek-a-boo. She giggles instantly, and he grins, already winning her over.
Soda is an absolute pro without even trying. He carries the baby around like heâs been doing it forever, bouncing her on his hip and chatting with her like sheâs an old friend.
Heâs full of energy, so he spends the first hour making goofy faces, crawling around on the floor, and chasing her with a stuffed animal. The baby is laughing so hard she gets the hiccups.
When he runs out of actual toys, Soda starts grabbing random household items a wooden spoon, a shoelace, and even an empty cereal box to entertain her. Somehow, it works like a charm.
He tries to read her a childrenâs book, but halfway through, he starts making up his own silly story. Itâs full of exaggerated voices and wild gestures, which keeps the baby mesmerized.
At some point, Soda turns on the radio and starts dancing with the baby in his arms. He spins her around, and she squeals with delight. Pony walks in and shakes his head, muttering, âYouâre ridiculous.â
When itâs snack time, Soda carefully feeds her small bites of food while pretending each spoonful is an airplane or a train. He ends up with more food on his shirt than in her mouth, but he doesnât mind.
When she gets fussy, Soda knows exactly what to do. He gently rocks her while humming a tune, pacing around the house until she calms down. He even lets her play with his hair, despite her pulling it a little too hard.
Darry and Pony canât resist checking in. Darry watches for a minute, impressed, while Pony teases, âYouâre gonna make a great dad someday, Soda.â Soda just grins and says, âI know!â
Unlike Pony, Soda handles diaper changes like a champ. He jokes to the baby, âThis ainât my first rodeo, kid,â even though it probably is. Somehow, he manages to keep it neat and quick.
When itâs nap time, Soda grabs a blanket and lays on the couch with the baby on his chest. He hums softly, and she falls asleep almost immediately. He stays there, not wanting to disturb her, and quietly dozes off himself.
When his partner arrives, they finds Soda asleep on the couch with the baby snuggled up on him. Soda wakes up groggily and just gives her that charming grin.
After they leave, Pony and Darry tease him mercilessly, saying heâs basically already a dad. Soda just shrugs and says, âWhat can I say? Iâve got a gift.â
Ponyboy Curtis
Ponyboy has zero experience with babies, so when his partner asks him to babysit there baby sister, heâs immediately nervous but agrees because he wants to impress her.
The night before, Pony stays up reading a book about babysitting. He even asks Darry for advice, which Darry delivers with a smirk: âJust donât drop her, Pony.â
Soda reassures him in the morning, saying, âYouâll be fine, Pony. Babies are just tiny humans with drool.â This somehow doesnât make him feel better.
The moment his girlfriend drops her off, Pony realizes how small the baby is. Heâs extra cautious, holding her like sheâs made of glass. But when she starts crying, he panics and runs to Soda for help.
Pony tries to entertain her by reading Gone with the Wind, but the baby is more interested in chewing on the pages than listening. He quickly swaps the book out for a rattle.
When she starts crying again, Pony picks her up and starts pacing. He talks to her about his brothers, the gang, and even his favorite movies. To his surprise, she quiets down and stares at him like sheâs actually listening.
While the baby is playing with her toys, Pony tries to sneak in some writing time. Unfortunately, she gets fussy every time he looks away, so he has to ditch his notebook and give her his full attention.
Pony is absolutely blown away by how adorable the baby is. When she giggles or reaches for his face, he canât help but smile and play peek-a-boo with her, despite feeling silly.
At one point, Dally stops by and sees Pony struggling. He smirks and says, âJust let her cry it out, Ponyboy. Babies need tough love.â Pony ignores him completely and shoos him away.
Ponyâs artistic side kicks in when he starts drawing silly pictures for the baby. She claps her hands excitedly at the funny doodles, and he feels a little proud that he can make her happy.
When the baby needs a diaper change, Pony freezes in horror. He calls out for Soda, but Soda just laughs and says, âItâs all you, Pony!â After some fumbling and gagging, he manages to get it done, though he swears never to do it again.
After hours of playing and entertaining her, the baby finally falls asleep in his arms. Pony sits on the couch, afraid to move in case he wakes her up. He canât help but feel a little proud of himself.
When his partner comes to pick up there sister, they find Pony sitting quietly with the baby asleep in his arms. There melts on the spot, calling him âthe sweetest.â Ponyâs cheeks turn red as he mumbles, âIt wasnât a big deal.â
As soon as his partner leaves, Darry and Soda jump at the chance to tease him. âLooks like youâre a natural, Ponyboy,â Soda says with a wink. Pony rolls his eyes but secretly feels a bit proud.
Johnny Cade
Heâs hesitant at first. Heâs never babysat before and doesnât feel confident, but he agrees because he wants to help her out and because he secretly loves kids.
When the baby is dropped off, Johnny is shy but gentle. He kneels down to her level and gives her a small smile, saying, âHey there, kiddo.â She stares at him for a moment before giggling, which makes him relax a bit.
Johnny triple checks everything to make sure itâs safe. He keeps the babyâs toys nearby, makes sure thereâs nothing sharp within reach, and keeps looking over his shoulder to make sure sheâs okay.
Johnny sits on the floor with her and carefully hands her toys one by one. Heâs soft spoken, quietly narrating what heâs doing to keep her entertained. âThis oneâs a bear. You like bears, right?â
The first time the baby laughs at something he does probably making a funny face Johnnyâs whole demeanor brightens. He starts trying different little tricks to keep her giggling.
Anytime the baby stumbles while crawling or gets fussy, Johnny is there in a heartbeat, making sure sheâs okay. Heâs super attentive, constantly keeping an eye on her.
Johnny grabs one of Ponyboyâs books and starts reading softly to the baby. His quiet voice soothes her, even if she doesnât understand the words. He feels proud when she snuggles into him during the story.
When the baby starts crying for no apparent reason, Johnny panics a little. He tries everything rocking her, giving her a toy, even singing softly. Eventually, he figures out she just wanted her bottle and feels relieved.
As the baby starts to calm down, she reaches for Johnnyâs face, touching his cheeks and hair. He chuckles nervously but lets her, feeling an unexpected warmth at how much trust she has in him.
When itâs time to change her diaper, Johnny freezes and quietly mutters, âI can do this. I can do this.â He ends up calling Ponyboy for help, and together they manage to get it done, with plenty of laughter and gagging involved.
When itâs time for her nap, Johnny rocks her gently in his arms, humming a soft tune. His soothing presence works wonders, and she falls asleep against his chest. He feels a mix of pride and relief.
when the gang finds out, Dally teases Johnny, saying, âDidnât know you had it in you, Johnnycake.â Johnny just shrugs with a small smile, secretly proud of how well he did.
Dallas Winston
â A baby? Câmon, babe, Iâm not a damn nanny.â But they gives him that look, and Dally, despite his tough-guy exterior, canât say no.
Dally doesnât plan anything. He figures, âHow hard can it be?â Spoiler: Itâs harder than he thought.
The baby stares at him the moment there dropped off, and Dally stares right back. âWhatâre you lookinâ at, kid?â he mutters.
Dally refuses to use baby talk. Instead, he talks to her like sheâs one of his friends. âAlright, kid, letâs get this over with. Donât cry, and weâll be fine.â
Within minutes, the baby is crawling everywhere, pulling on things, and grabbing at his leather jacket. Dally sighs, picks her up, and says, âYouâre a real handful, you know that?â
Dally ends up entertaining her in the most Dallas way possible. He tosses her in the air (carefully, of course) and makes silly faces while pretending heâs too cool to care. She squeals with laughter, and he secretly loves it.
He tries feeding her but has no patience for the mess. When she throws her food on the floor, he groans and mutters, âYouâre worse than Two-Bit after a bender.â Still, he cleans it up though he grumbles the whole time.
At some point, Dally teaches the baby something mischievous, like how to stick her tongue out or the middle finger . When she copies him, he grins proudly. âYouâre gonna be a little hood, just like me.â
When the baby starts crying out of nowhere, Dally freezes. âWhat the hell do you want?!â he blurts out, pacing the room. He tries bouncing her awkwardly and even calls Johnny for advice. Eventually, he figures out she just needed her stuffed animal.
Despite his tough exterior, Dally has a natural way with the baby. When she gets tired, he sits on the couch, holding her against his chest, quietly humming an old tune. He doesnât even realize how gentle heâs being.
Two-Bit and Johnny stop by and immediately start teasing Dally about being a babysitter. âNever thought Iâd see the day,â Two-Bit says, laughing. Dally chases them out, muttering, âIdiots.â
When the baby finally falls asleep, Dally feels like heâs won a battle. He sits still, afraid to move, and mumbles, âYouâre lucky youâre cute, kid.â
When his partner comes back, they finds Dally holding the baby, whoâs still asleep. They raises an eyebrow and smirks. âDidnât think you had it in you.â Dally shrugs and says, âYeah, well, donât get used to it.â
Dally plays it cool. âBabies are easy,â he says with a smirk, leaving out the chaotic moments. But they all know heâs secretly a softie when it comes to people he cares about.
Steve Randle
He immediately says, âOf course I can handle it! How hard could it be?â Heâs convinced heâs going to be the best babysitter ever.
When the baby is dropped off, Steve tries to impress his partner by acting super confident. âSee? She already loves me!â he says as the baby stares at him. She immediately pulls on his hair, and Steve laughs it off like itâs no big deal.
Steve spends the first ten minutes holding the baby and telling her all about cars. âThis is an engine,â he says, showing her a car magazine âSomeday, Iâll teach you how to fix one.â
It doesnât take long for the baby to start crawling around and getting into things. Steve tries to keep up, muttering, âYouâre faster than I thought, kid.â
Steveâs idea of babysitting is showing the baby all the âcoolâ things he can do, like balancing a spoon on his nose or spinning her toy in the air. She claps her hands excitedly, and he beams. âTold ya Iâm good at this!â
When itâs time to feed her, Steve ends up making a mess. He tries to feed her while making airplane noises, but she smacks the spoon, and the food goes flying. âOkay, thatâs on you, not me,â he says, laughing.
At one point, Steve pulls out a small wrench and pretends to âteachâ the baby how to fix things. âThis is how you tighten a bolt,â he says. The baby grabs the wrench and tries to chew on it, and he quickly swaps it for a teething toy.
When the inevitable diaper change comes, Steve groans. âAlright, how bad could it- OH, COME ON!â He powers through, making faces and jokes the whole time, but heâs gagging the entire time.
Steve grabs a comb and a piece of paper, making a makeshift kazoo. He plays silly tunes for the baby, who giggles and bounces along. He grins and says, âYouâve got good taste, kid.â
When the baby starts crying and he canât figure out why, Steve calls Sodapop for advice. âWhat do I do? Sheâs crying, and Iâve tried everything!â Soda calmly tells him to check if sheâs tired or needs her stuffed animal. Steve follows the advice, and it works like a charm.
As much as Steve acts like heâs all about fun, he has a sweet, nurturing side. When the baby starts to get sleepy, he gently rocks her and hums quietly, surprising even himself with how natural it feels.
When his partner comes they smiles and say âLooks like you had fun.â Steve grins and says, âTold ya I could handle it.â
Twobit Mathews
Twobit grins and says, âIâll have her cracking up in no time. Iâm basically a comedian for babies.â Heâs way too confident for someone with no experience.
The second the baby is dropped off, TwoBit starts pulling faces and making silly noises. The baby stares at him for a moment before bursting into laughter. âSee? Told ya Iâm a natural,â he says proudly.
TwoBit immediately gets distracted playing with the babyâs toys himself. âThis thing spins? Thatâs wild!â The baby doesnât mind she just watches him with wide eyed fascination.
When itâs time to feed her, Two-Bit pretends to host a cooking show. âAnd here we have the finest mashed peas, perfect for a baby connoisseur.â He ends up with food on his shirt, but the baby thinks itâs hilarious.
TwoBit turns on cartoons, claiming itâs for the baby, but heâs the one laughing the loudest. The baby just sits on his lap, occasionally pointing at the screen while TwoBit says, âOh, that guy? Heâs gonna slip on a banana peel. Watch!â
When the baby starts crying, TwoBit doesnât panic. He immediately launches into full-on clown mode, using exaggerated voices and pretending to trip over the furniture. The baby canât help but giggle.
TwoBit encourages a bit of chaos, like teaching the baby how to blow raspberries or make a funny noise with her lips. When she copies him, he laughs so hard he nearly falls over. âYouâre my kinda kid!â
When itâs diaper time, TwoBit groans and mutters, âWhy didnât anyone warn me about this part?â He tries to pawn it off on Johnny or Ponyboy if theyâre nearby, but when they refuse, he tackles it himself, gagging dramatically the whole time.
TwoBit finds a baby hat or some funny clothes and tries them on her. âLook at you, kid! Stylinâ and profilinâ!â He might even put on her little sunglasses and take a Polaroid.
Instead of reading a regular baby book, TwoBit decides to tell her a completely made up story full of wild exaggerations. âAnd then the brave knight me, of course- defeated the dragon with a rubber chicken!â The baby claps, even if she doesnât understand a word.
Despite his joking nature, TwoBit canât help but melt a little when the baby grabs his finger or giggles at something he does. âYouâre kinda cute, you know that?â he says with a smile.
When the baby refuses to nap, TwoBit tries everything rocking her, singing (badly), and even pretending to nap himself. Eventually, she falls asleep, but not before he mutters, âYouâre one stubborn little thing.â
When his partner comes back, the house is a bit of a mess, with toys and snacks everywhere. But the baby is happy and giggling, and Two Bit is sitting on the floor with a juice box in one hand and a toy in the other. âDonât worry, babe, I handled it,â he says with a wink.
Tim Shepard
He raises an eyebrow and says, âBabysit? You know I donât do kids.â
He finally agrees after much begging.
: At first, Tim is all business. He picks the baby up awkwardly, holding her at armâs length, and mutters, âAlright, kid, donât make this harder than it needs to be.â
Despite his tough demeanor, Tim quickly becomes hyper aware of the babyâs safety. He moves sharp objects, makes sure sheâs nowhere near the edge of the couch, and keeps a watchful eye on her every move.
Tim isnât great at playing, but he gives it a shot. He shakes a rattle a little too aggressively, and when the baby giggles, he smirks. âYou like that, huh? Simple taste, kid.â
When itâs time to feed her, Tim approaches it like a mission. âHereâs your mushy food,â he says, spooning it into her mouth with surprising patience. If she spits it out, he mutters, âYouâre lucky I like you.â
When the baby starts crying, Tim doesnât panic. Heâs used to dealing with chaos. He picks her up, rocks her gently, and says, âWhatâs the problem, huh? Youâll be alright.â His calm voice works wonders.
Though heâs not as openly playful as TwoBit, Tim has a dry sense of humor. âYou got it easy, kid. No bills, no fights, and everyone feeds you. Must be nice.â
The baby grabs his finger at one point, and Tim freezes for a moment, unsure of what to do. When she smiles up at him, he chuckles softly and says, âYouâre not so bad, are you?â
Tim approaches diaper changing like itâs a battlefield. âHow can something so small make this big of a mess?â he grumbles. He gets it done quickly, though, proving heâs efficient even in unfamiliar territory.
Tim playfully holds her hands and says, âAlright, kid, letâs toughen you up. Gotta be ready for the world.â He pretends to teach her how to punch, lightly bumping her tiny fists against his hand.
When the baby gets sleepy, Tim sits in a rocking chair and holds her against his chest. He hums quietly an old tune his mom used to sing and feels a rare sense of peace.
Cool: Tim acts like babysitting was no big deal, shrugging and saying, âIt wasnât hard.â But his partner notices the way he glances at the baby with a hint of pride.
Later, Tim tells Curly about the experience, saying, âKids arenât so bad. Sheâs tougher than most people I know.â Curly just laughs and teases him for going soft.
Curly Shepard
Curly scoffs and says, âYou gotta be kidding me. I donât do diapers.â But when they gives him a serious look, he rolls his eyes and mutters, âFine. But donât expect me to enjoy it.â
Curly has no idea what to do when the baby is dropped off. He stares at her like sheâs a bomb about to go off. âSo⌠what do you do all day, huh? Cry and drool?â
When the baby reaches for him and giggles, Curly smirks despite himself. âYou think Iâm funny, huh? Guess youâre smarter than you look.â
Curlyâs first instinct is to teach the baby something sneaky, like how to stick her tongue out or make funny noises. When she copies him, he laughs and says, âYouâre gonna be a troublemaker, just like me.â
Feeding her is a disaster. Curly doesnât bother with baby spoons; he tries to feed her straight from the jar. When she spits it out, he shrugs. âCanât blame ya. This stuffâs gross.â
Curly gets a little too into playing. He pretends to wrestle with her stuffed animals, making exaggerated growling noises, which makes her laugh hysterically. âSee? Youâve got good taste in fun.â
When the baby needs a diaper change, Curly freezes. âOh, no. I am not doing that.â But when he realizes thereâs no one else around, he reluctantly handles it, muttering, âThis better be the last time.â
When the baby starts crying, Curly panics and says, âWhatâs wrong now? You were just fine!â He tries bouncing her on his hip, rocking her, and even bribing her with toys. Eventually, he figures out she just wanted her pacifier.
Curly talks to the baby like sheâs one of the gang. âAlright, kid, hereâs the deal you donât cry, and Iâll make sure you have a good time.â The baby seems to go along with it, and he grins. âSmart kid.â
Despite his tough exterior, Curly canât help but melt a little when the baby cuddles up to him. He quietly mutters, âYouâre kinda cute, you know that?â
If Tim or another member of the gang stops by and sees him babysitting, they immediately start teasing him. âLook at you, Curly, Mr. Mom!â Curly scowls and says, âShut up. She likes me better than you, anyway.â
Curly makes up wild stories about being a tough hood, complete with sound effects and dramatic gestures. The baby doesnât understand a word but claps her hands excitedly.
When the baby starts rubbing her eyes, Curly puts her down in her crib and sits next to her until she falls asleep. âFinally. I thought youâd never quit,â he mutters, though heâs secretly proud he managed to calm her down.
When his partner comes back, they finds Curly sitting on the couch, looking exhausted but smug. âSee? I kept her alive,â he says with a smirk.
authors note: this is strictly platonic guys!! i feel like iâve been falling off lately LMAO. i hope u guys enjoy though đ
word count: 1.0k
PONYBOY CURTIS
the two of you are the closest in the gang, being the closest in age and him being a protective older brother to you
he doesnât always feel the closest to his siblings because him and darry are always arguing, sodaâs in the middle and doesnât interfere anymore
but youâre always one to comfort pony after he gets into a heated argument with his oldest brother
he helps you with homework a lot since youâre not far behind him, he helps you study and get super high grades so darry isnât on your ass for shitty grades
pony also reads you books when youâre stressed, itâs also just something he enjoys doing in your presence
quality time means a lot to him because his brothers are never home, heâll read a magazine or do homework in a room with you, it gives him a sense of safety
JOHNNY CADE
the two of you arenât exactly the closest in age but you talk to each other about everything
you and johnny hang out at the lot and sometimes fall asleep there, when you wake up, you direct him to your house so he can sleep there too
sometimes heâll give you little gifts for fun, remembers a lot of things you tell him
if you talk about a book or item you want once, heâll get it as soon as he can
he really appreciates your friendship and will do anything to keep it and strengthen it
probably letâs you borrow his switchblade even though he always has it on him, has backups too
SODAPOP CURTIS
heâs the most annoying but loving brother to you, always asking you if you have a partner yet and teasing you if you do
âooooh.. who were you hanginâ out with today, y/n? you like them?â
âsoda, iâve been friends with them for years!â
âyeah, but do you like them?â
heâs the embodiment of the trend âi know love is real because (name) is real and they are full of itâ
soda makes sure you have a lot of attention and love, doesnât necessarily try to replace your parents but is somewhat nurturing to you
he doesnât rant to you often because he knows it can be overwhelming, youâre just a kid, as he puts it and shouldnât be dealing with others problems
sometimes heâll take you to the DX after school so you can gossip and you can learn about working
DARRY CURTIS
darryâs your eldest brother and is extremely protective of you, always checks up on you and asking about your day
he has the same expectations for you and ponyboy, he checks over your homework but is calmer with you
he wants you to be with some sort of guardian wherever you go, even if youâre walking down the street for fun
he knows itâs not the safest for you to be alone, especially at night
because he doesnât have the best relationship with his brothers, he makes cake with you more often than he does with the others
he does not let you participate in rumbles, he says itâs way too dangerous for you to fight
DALLAS WINSTON
he fucking hates kids so itâs a surprise he enjoys your presence
you remind him a bit of himself, youâre a bit of an âoutcast in the outcastsâ because youâre the youngest and told you canât do anything
so dally teaches you how to live in case you ever get put on the streets, teaches you what to do in the worst case scenarios
heâs hard on you though, itâs tough love and he can get really frustrated if you get hurt or in trouble because heâs taught you how to protect yourself
steals random stuff for you, most of the time itâs candy or random sweets like popcorn from the drive in, sometimes itâs a drink
TWO-BIT MATTHEWS
you remind him of his younger sister, he feels obligated to protect you in some way
most of the time, soda and darry are working so they arenât home most of the time, ponyâs hanging out with johnny so keith watches over you
sometimes he calls himself your babysitter because he thinks itâs funny, itâs even better that he knows youâre fully capable of taking care of yourself
heâll tell you super inappropriate jokes and when darryâs there, heâll smack him on the back of the head
âtwo, knock it off. she doesnât needa hear that stuff!â
âi didnât even do anything, superââ
he steals stuff for you too, whether itâs something related to your studies or a random item you want for some reason
STEVE RANDLE
originally didnât want to be around you, he doesnât want to be around ponyboy and youâre with him all the time
but eventually, steve warms up to you and lets you hang out with him and the gang sometimes
heâs actually pretty smart and not many people expect that from him, he helps you with homework even though he can get frustrated at times if you donât understand
if youâre into cars, expect him to teach you all about them and for him to invite you to the DX
maybe he lets you help him fix some of the cars, of course you wonât get paid money, instead snacks he gives you for free
soda will come up to you in the morning as youâre barely awake, talking to you
âsteve said to come to the DX after school, gonna teach you some stuff about cars.â
Can I request the Curtis siblings with a sister who is obsessed with her looks
Summary: The Outsiders with a Curtis sibling who's obsessed with her looks Warnings: none Author's Note: none PONYBOY CURTIS He doesn't mind having a sister who is obsessed with her looks, as long as you don't get in his way when he's getting ready for school in the morning. He doesn't usually do a big routine before school but he hates being late so he prefers for you to stay in your corner and for him to stay in his. There's definitely a corner of the room that's totally dedicated to you and your makeup desk that your parents got you when you were just a little girl who liked to play with makeup. He's not ashamed of you as his sibling, especially since you always look super put together and well dressed. Sometimes you're even a ticket out of him getting cut up by some socs. Of course, being pretty makes you a very underestimated girl, sometimes Pony can forget that you can keep up with him while he's running and you get top marks. He remembers and then he just is so happy that he has some friendly competition. JOHNNY CADE He doesn't usually interact with you, Dally's got the idea that 'all girls are the same' nailed into his head. But he's friendly and open when you two talk. He's pleasantly suprised at how genuine and kind you are. He forgets that Dally's seen some rough things but also tends to exaggerate. So as his way of 'making up for it', he spends a lot of time hanging out with you. He did develope a little crush on you when he was younger, like WAYYY younger. But it was more of a "wow, it's a girl!!" kind of crush and it didn't amount to much. Currently, you two are rather close and when Pony's busy and he has nothing to do, you two will go out and just goof off and have fun together. SODAPOP CURTIS Unsuprisingly, Soda's pretty apperance-obsessed as well, he's like the 19--s version of men using hair masks as shampoo to get their hair shiny and smooth. Of course a lot of times those 'hair masks' are yours. You get along quite well despite the fact that sometimes he uses your stuff like he bought it. Which he probably did, he got it under the guise that it was for you but actually he bought it to test it. He likes to do face masks with you, it relaxes him and he genuinely likes taking care of his skin because he actually had some pretty bad acne in like middle school. You two get along realllly well, probably the best out of all your brothers because of this shared hobby. You do have to worry about some of your stuff going missing though. STEVE RANDLE On a scale of "How much Steve likes you," you're inbetween Pony and Soda. Pony being he's literally trying to blow that kid up with his mind and Soda he's frolicking with. He likes you because you're a Curtis, they're all cool and he likes you better than Pony because you don't give Darry and Soda heart attacks when things happen. You and him don't really interact much, only when he swings by the Curtis house. Sometimes he likes to look at your makeup and stuff but that's really all the interactions you've had. TWO BIT MATHEWS You and Two Bit are twins because you and his sister are twins. Like you two go out and have girls days because you're the only girl-siblings. He'll sometimes tag along because his mom makes him, so he'll buy you two ice-cream and stuff like that and maybe help you do his sister's makeup/face-paint. He genuinely really enjoys how you two get along, and tells you that when he gets really drunk. Because of that, you two have a strong bond. Sometimes he'll take you out some places without his sister, as friends. He's really grateful for your influence and he's also grateful that you're willing to spend time with him and his family. DARRY CURTIS
He secretly really likes the fact that you're well put together, because it shows that the gang isn't influencing you to become a 'bad person,' (for example, drink too much, let yourself go, like that stuff, not that Darry wouldn't love you if you were a tomboy LMAO) It also really reminds him of his mom, how she would spend a good amount of time putting herself together meticulously, sometimes even putting some blush on you and Darry when she caught you two watching for too long. Of course, its hard for him to afford your lifestyle, he's barely scraping by with two jobs and he always feels sooo bad for letting you down when you want to get something. He tries his hardest to make up for it with quality time, but you remind him that even though you really care about your looks, you care more for the family's security and that he doesn't need to 'make up' for the fact that you guys aren't broke because of a new foundation. DALLAS WINSTON To Dallas, you're just another girl. Doesn't matter if you're a Curtis, and/or part of the gang. He doesn't really care much about you, you're just another girl. He's definetly seen you in a 'I would date her' light, but quickly shut that down because a) Dallas is only into dating for one thing, and b) you're a curtis, and Darry would BEAT HIS ASSS. Sometimes you guys get along really well, especially when he's drunk and tired so he just lays on the couch and does nothing while you apply some fancy serum on his face. But other than that you don't talk much, he'll say hi if you see each other outside, but that's about it.
