kinda obsessed with rhiannon currently but can you blame me fr??? i wanna ramble about her so i will!
In an ideal world Rhiannon would be living in Connecticut. She’d own a grand estate, with two large spiral staircases, rooms with lots of natural light, and real hardwood floors. She’d have a small ranch where she kept a few horses. She’d still work as an attorney. She likes working as an attorney. She likes being Kaila’s manager. She says it’s really fulfilling. She’d love to do the same for Koa.. once he figures out what he plans to do with his life. She’d have another baby too. She loves being a mom. And she had both of her other children so young, so she didn’t really get to enjoy their earlier stages. And maybe she’d like to get married- of course they’d need a strong prenuptial agreement, but she could see herself being a wife. She always wanted to know what that was like. Kaila and Koa’s dad left before Koa was even born and she hadn’t dated since what happened to Kaila. And all three of her sisters were married. They all seemed really happy. She’d like to experience that. She hadn’t been with anyone since the incident with Kaila. She swore off men completely and devoted herself only to her children and her career. But ideally, she’d want the full package all her sisters seemed to have gotten. Maybe minus Dallas and the weirdness she got herself into marrying Cale. Or being the wife of the police chief like Koi. Too dangerous for her blood. Val seemed to have the most normal life, but Scott was far too boring for her. It was a bit too mundane. But at 41, she had none of that. I mean she has her kids and her career. A great relationship with her family. A very very nice penthouse with marble flooring. She’s even got a long list of successful men who’d drop to their knees and give her the world if she gave them a chance. It’s nice and she’s grateful for it. It’s just… not exactly what she wanted. And she doesn’t know if she’ll ever get it.
#lykaia#my characters#*rhiannon Brice the woman u are#queue#i could do an entire side series about the mature cast#like i love them#and i want afraid to hurt them like i am with the new gen#idk we might explore it all in lykaia#my story my rules!

Paxton accuses Texas doctor of providing gender-affirming care in violation of state law
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) on Thursday sued a doctor in Dallas, accusing her of providing gender-affirming care to nearly two dozen minors in violation of the state’s law.
Paxton accuses May Chi Lau of “blatantly violating Texas law” by providing hormone-replacement therapy to 21 minors in the period between last October and this August.
His office said in a statement outlining the lawsuit that the doctor “allegedly used false diagnoses and billing codes to mask these unlawful prescriptions.”
“Texas passed a law to protect children from these dangerous unscientific medical interventions that have irreversible and damaging effects,” Paxton said in a statement. “Doctors who continue to provide these harmful ‘gender transition’ drugs and treatments will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.”
Texas’s Supreme Court upheld in an 8-1 ruling the state’s ban on gender-affirming care for minors in late June this year.
Lau specializes in adolescent medicine. She is an associate professor in the department of pediatrics at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
The lawsuit was filed in Collin County district court.
The Hill has reached out to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center for comment.
State bans on gender-affirming care are set to come before the Supreme Court this session after the Biden administration challenged a similar measure passed in Tennessee.
“The laws are inflicting profound harms on transgender adolescents and their families by denying medical treatments that the affected adolescents, their parents, their doctors, and medical experts have all concluded are appropriate and necessary to treat a serious medical condition,” the Department of Justice wrote in court filings.

How did you and B meet?
I'm sure I've talked about this before, but here's the Official Story from our reception invitations:
Erica met B through their mutual friend G while rock climbing at the Austin greenbelt in April of 2019.
Erica had just purchased a new camera and 80% of the photos she took that day were of B. She shyly sent B the best ones and noted he was a lovely subject. B said, “thanks bro” and used those pictures for his Bumble profile.
It was an auspicious beginning.
At the time, B was living and working in Austin while Erica was a PhD student in Dallas. She often visited “home” to see her parents and climb, so they met up regularly over the next two years.
When the pandemic hit, Erica moved back to Austin to work on her dissertation, and isolated with a small group of climbers that included B. They also started playing D&D together.
Erica’s character was a chaotic neutral half-elf bard who cast spells and cantrips exclusively via limerick. Her go-to solutions to problems they encountered were seduction, inciting political rebellion, befriending monsters, and stabbing.
B played a lawful good half-elf paladin who found Erica’s character extremely vexing.
In real life, however, they had quite a bit in common, and started spending time alone outside of group climbing and D&D meetups. Later, they would discover they had a mutual romantic interest at this point, but neither acted on it since Erica had accepted a visiting professorship in Colorado. She moved in July.
When Erica returned briefly to Austin over spring break the following year, she spent most of her time with B: climbing, hiking, grilling at her parent’s place, and staunchly denying there was anything happening between them even if she wished there was because honestly, mom, he's never shown the slightest bit of interest in me (her father scoffed loudly from the other room).
She decided to move back to Austin at the end of the school year. When B (and G) came to visit her a few weeks before she moved, Erica decided to be brave and make her intentions known. While watching a UFC fight with B on the couch, she tucked her toes, lasciviously, under B’s thigh.
Shockingly, he did not respond to this unequivocal romantic overture. But he did help her remove all the temporary wallpaper on her ugly rental cabinets before they left, so that was nice.
The following month, when Erica moved back to Austin, B asked if she’d like to come over for dinner after climbing. She agreed because she wanted to procrastinate unpacking and also she was slightly in love with him. The following day, he asked if she wanted to have dinner again. She did.
“Wow,” Erica said to her mother that morning, “I guess B is really lonely since G moved. He’s been asking me to hang out with him a lot.”
“You're an idiot,” her mother said.
That night, B asked Erica if she'd ever thought about them dating.
“I’m thinking about it now,” she said, cavalier, suave, blasé, and not nervous at all.
This wasn’t a lie, but she had also thought about it once or twice prior to that moment as well.
“Great,” B said, “How would you feel if I kissed you?”
And Erica said, “Yeah, I’d feel pretty good about that.”
A few weeks later, B casually showed Erica an empty shelf in his bathroom cabinet and an inviting space in his closet and a couple spare drawers in his dresser and she, equally casually, moved in with him.
Over the next year, the apartment’s decor and Erica’s diet improved drastically. They traveled, they climbed, they spent time with each others families. They lived, laughed, loved and reduced, reused, recycled. Shortly after moving into their new house, combining bank accounts, making each other their medical powers of attorney, solidifying their retirement plans, and discussing whether getting married would have tax benefits, they realized most people got engaged before doing…a good portion of those things. So they planned to propose to each other.
Christmas of 2022, they took a road trip across Colorado. B proposed to Erica on the gondola in Telluride; two days later, Erica proposed to B on the Train to Cascade Canyon in Durango. They both said yes.
In August 2023 they will elope, with their dog Deacon as a witness, to Mt. Rainier national park.
In November 2023, they’ll celebrate with their friends and family at a backyard reception that will include food, drinks, swimming, croquet, corn hole, axe-throwing and a bounce house (the axe-throwing and the bounce-house will be on opposite sides of the lawn; if it's cold, the pool will be heated). They hope you’ll come and share their joy with them.

Top 10 List: My Favorite Shows to Watch with Daddies in Them
10. Frasier (TV Series 1993–2004)
Dr. Frasier Crane moves back to his hometown of Seattle, where he lives with his father and works as a radio psychiatrist.
John Mahoney was hot in this show.
9. Fringe (TV Series 2008–2013)
An F.B.I. agent is forced to work with an institutionalized scientist and his son in order to rationalize a brewing storm of unexplained phenomena.
This is the show that got me liking John Noble.
8. Walker, Texas Ranger (TV Series 1993–2001)
Cordell Walker and his partner, James Trivette, are Texas Rangers. They make it their business to battle crime in Dallas and all around the state of Texas.
Yeah… Chuck Norris kicking ass was great, but Noble Willingham was real reason I watched this show. Well… him and his ass.
7. Gunsmoke (TV Series 1955–1975)
Marshal Matt Dillon keeps the peace in rough-and-tumble Dodge City.
As a kid, I watched this for the gun fights. Now I watch it for James Arness, Ken Curtis, Amanda Blake and Milburn Stone.
6. Father Dowling Mysteries (TV Series 1989–1991)
An amiable, inquisitive Chicago priest moonlights as a detective and is assisted by a rather worldly, lock-picking nun.
Tom Bosley as a priest. Yeah… I'm watching this.
5. Matlock (TV Series 1986–1995)
Ben Matlock is a very expensive criminal defense attorney, who charges one hundred thousand dollars to take a case. Fortunately, he's worth every penny, as he and his associates defend his clients by finding the real killer.
Love to watch Andy Griffith's progression from the beginning of the series from a tall, gray haired man to a short, silver haired chub. I kid you not, by the end of the series, he looked shorter and definitely fatter.
4. Bonanza (TV Series 1959–1973)
The Wild West adventures of Ben Cartwright and his sons as they run and defend their Nevada ranch while helping the surrounding community.
Surprisingly, I watch this as a kid for my strange attraction to Lorne Greene (figured out why later on). It's only recently I watch it for Dan Blocker.
3. Blue Bloods (TV Series 2010–2024)
Blue Bloods follows the lives of the NYPD's First Family of Law Enforcement: the Reagans.
Sure, Tom Selleck is nice, but I keep watching for Len Cariou at Sunday dinner each week.
2. In the Heat of the Night (TV Series 1988–1995)
The cases and adventures of the police forces in and around Sparta, Mississippi.
This is the show that got me lusting after Carroll O'Connor.
1. Murder, She Wrote (TV Series 1984–1996)
Mystery writer and amateur sleuth Jessica Fletcher uses her intellect, charm, and persistence to get to the bottom of every crime she encounters.
I love watching the show for show regulars William Windom, Tom Bosley, Ron Masak to the many, many guest stars. Plus I had a childhood crush on Angela Lansbury.

The Strange Disappearance and Death of David Glenn Lewis
David Glenn Lewis was born on December 11th, 1953, in Borger, Texas. David married a woman named Karen Garret in 1982 and the couple had their only child together—a daughter named Lauren—a year later.
On Thursday, January 28th, 1993, David left work at the Buckner, Lara & Swindell law practice, stating that he wasn’t feeling well. However, his credit card revealed a charge made at a gas station later that afternoon. David also reportedly taught his class that night, which ended at 10 p.m.
The following day, Karen and Lauren left to spend the weekend shopping in Dallas. Although they didn’t see David before leaving, they didn’t find that especially concerning. They already knew he wanted to stay home that weekend, because his favorite football team—the Dallas Cowboys—would be playing in the Super Bowl and David was eager to watch the game.
It was during this weekend that David’s behavior took a turn for the strange. First, he was spotted by a friend from church frantically rushing through a Southwest Airlines terminal. David didn’t appear to have any luggage with him.
On Sunday, David’s red Ford Explorer was seen parked outside of the Potter County courthouse and a deputy sheriff witnessed a man matching David’s description photographing the vehicle. David returned home at some point, evidently, because the neighbors reported seeing his vehicle parked in the driveway that weekend.
However, when Karen and Lauren arrived home on Sunday, they found David’s wedding ring and watch on the counter and a load of laundry in the dryer. The lights and television were on and the VCR was still recording the football game. There were also two turkey sandwiches in the refrigerator, presumably prepared by David. The thing that was notably absent from the home, however, was David himself.
Nevertheless, Karen assumed that he had simply gone to watch the game at a friend’s house and that he’d be back soon. But when she learned the following day that David had missed two appointments—very out of character for him—she became worried and notified the police that he was missing.
Early in the investigation into David Glenn Lewis’s disappearance, police learned that someone using his name had purchased two plane tickets before he went missing. The first ticket was bought on January 31st and was from Dallas to Amarillo. The second ticket was purchased the next day and this one would take him from Los Angeles to Dallas. No one could explain what might have compelled David to buy these tickets, and since U.S. airports didn’t require a person to show their ID before boarding a plane in 1993, it couldn’t be verified that he was really the person who purchased the tickets.
Another unexplained detail that came out during the investigation was that $5,000 had been deposited into the Lewis family's bank account on January 30th. Unfortunately, it couldn't be determined who made the deposit. David’s Ford Explorer was soon discovered parked by the courthouse. His keys were under the floor mat and his driver’s license, credit cards, and checkbook were all found inside as well.
Later, a cab driver came forward to say that he had picked up a man strongly resembling David on February 1st and drove him to the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. The man in question appeared nervous and paid in cash from a wad of hundred-dollar bills he had with him. There were no further sightings of David reported in the Amarillo area after this.
David’s family didn’t believe that he had left voluntarily; they believed he was abducted. Karen said that he had received death threats in the past while working as a judge and that he’d begun to receive death threats once again just before he vanished.
At the time he went missing, David had been a defendant in a conflict-of-interest lawsuit that had been brought against him and several other attorneys, as well as a former client.
Ultimately, the authorities believed that David left Amarillo of his own free will and couldn’t find any evidence of foul play. They eventually closed his case in 2002.
However, on the night of February 1st, 1993, motorists witnessed a man walking down the middle of State Route 24 in Moxee, Washington, east of Yakima. The man was wearing military fatigues and boots. He didn’t appear to have anything else with him. A concerned driver turned around and attempted to warn the other motorists that someone was walking on the road. Sadly, they were too late to help this man, because, by the time they got back, he was lying dead by the side of the road, the victim of an apparent hit-and-run accident. The autopsy report concluded that he had died of injuries consistent with having been struck by a vehicle. Additionally, there were no drugs or alcohol in his system. The deceased, who had no ID, would be classified as a “John Doe” and remained unidentified for 11 years.
Washington State Patrol detective in Yakima, Washington, Pat Ditter, read the series of reports and started to look into a number of local missing persons cases, as well as John and Jane Doe cases, hoping to solve at least some of them. He noted that David looked very much like the John Doe in question, but a notable difference was that David wore glasses and the John Doe hadn’t been wearing any when he was found.
However, they still had the clothing he’d been wearing at the time of the accident and Ditter discovered a pair of glasses in one of the pockets. These glasses looked identical to the distinctive pair that David himself wore. Ditter was now convinced that they were the same person. A DNA test in 2004 would confirm that he was correct: the Moxee John Doe was in fact, David Glenn Lewis.
But how and why did he end up over 1,600 miles away from his home in Amarillo, Texas? Why was David, said to have very poor eyesight, not wearing his glasses that night? Why was he walking down the middle of a road at all? Many aspects of this case remain a mystery.
It’s also unclear why he was wearing military fatigues, as Karen was adamant that he didn’t own anything like that.

Botham Jean (September 29, 1991 - September 6, 2018) an accountant was murdered in Dallas by off-duty Dallas Police Department patrol officer Amber Guyger, who entered his apartment and fatally shot him. Guyger said that she had entered his apartment believing it was her own and believed him to be a burglar, and was initially charged with manslaughter. The absence of a murder charge led to protests and accusations of racial bias because he was an unarmed African American man, who was killed in his home by a white off-duty officer who had disregarded police protocols. On November 30, 2018, Guyger was indicted of murder. On October 1, 2019, she was found guilty of murder and was sentenced to ten years’ imprisonment the following day. The ruling was upheld on appeal in 2021.
He was a Harding University alumnus and an accountant for PwC. He was born in Saint Lucia.
An attorney representing his family accused the Dallas Police Department of attempting to smear his reputation by publicizing a police affidavit showing that police seized 0.368 ounces of marijuana from his apartment. The lawyers disputed the account of the incident that Guyger told officials, which was recorded in the arrest warrant affidavit, and asserted that two independent witnesses had come forward to give recollections that conflicted with Guyger’s account. An attorney for his family asserted that witnesses claimed to have heard knocking on the door to his apartment and that they had heard a woman’s voice saying “Let me in, let me in.” #africanhistory365 #africanexcellence #blm

Dean Obeidallah at The Dean's Report:
A mother and her two young children playing in a pool on a hot day in a suburb of Dallas should be a time for fun and merriment. And it was, that is until 42-year-old Elizabeth Wolf, a white woman from the area, saw that the mother was wearing a hijab and the children were Brown. At that point, Wolf questioned the mother about where she was from and made statements about her not being American, as well as “other racial statements.”
A visibly angry Wolf then grabbed the 6-year-old boy, causing a scratch on his finger as he pulled away. At that point—as the police reported--“The mother began helping her son when Wolf grabbed her 3-year-old daughter and forced her underwater.” The mother “was able to pull her daughter from the water. Her daughter had been yelling for help and was coughing up water.” That is when “Wolf also snatched the mother’s headscarf off and beat her with it,” as the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) reported. A witness, Emma Aziz, who was at the pool that same day with her 7-year-old was interviewed by local Fox affiliate said she heard the mother screaming as she watched Wolf plunge the 3 year-old child’s head underwater. Aziz recalled the mother saying, “Help me! She’s killing my baby, she’s killing my baby!'” The attack ended--as the mother identified only as Mrs. H explained--when an African American man helped rescue her daughter from the attacker and more people gathered. The attacker reportedly shouted to a bystander who was calming the mother down, “Tell her I will kill her, and I will kill her whole family.”
In a statement shared by CAIR, the mother “Mrs. H” said, “We are American citizens, originally from Palestine, and I don’t know where to go to feel safe with my kids,” adding that amid Israel’s war in Gaza, she and her family were “facing that hate here.” This is what a hate crime looks like. People attacked simply because of their race, religion or ethnicity. If the family in the pool were white, this doesn’t happen. Period. The Euless Police Department –where the attack took place—did promptly arrest Wolf that day but for public intoxication. Four days later, though, on May 23, the Tarrant County criminal district attorney’s did file charges of attempted capital murder and injury to a child against Wolf.
However, despite Wolf’s actions clearly being fueled by bigotry—as evidenced from her comments-- she was not formally charged with a hate crime. That is why this past Saturday, the Dallas chapter of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) held a press conference demanding the DA also charge with hate crimes. CAIR leaders also called for Wolf’s bail—that was set at only $40,000—to be raised given the seriousness of the crimes.
[...] The attack by Wolf on the Palestinian mother and her children reminds us of the barbaric incident last October in the suburbs of Chicago. That is when 6-year-old Muslim American child Wadea Al-Fayoume was killed by an older white man who had spewed anti-Muslim and anti-Palestinian hate before stabbing the child to death—and stabbing his mother as well. As the killer’s wife told the police after the arrest, he "listens to conservative talk radio on a regular basis" and became obsessed with the war between Hamas and Israel. The killer was charged with hate crimes in addition to murder and attempted murder.
And in November, three Palestinian-American college students were walking on the streets of Vermont while wearing keffiyehs and speaking Arabic when Jason Eaton, 48, came down the porch of a home, pulled out a pistol and shot them. Eaton said nothing before shooting the three. While Eaton was charged with three counts of attempted murder, despite demands by the community, he was not charged with hate crimes. Obviously, Eaton—like Wolf—targeted these three because of who they were. In the case of Wolf’s attack on the Palestinian children and mother, the public pressure appears to be having the impact demanded. In other cases, though, the public pressure may not always result in the desired outcome but at least it still raises awareness about the issues.
Elizabeth Wolf drowned a mother and her two kids in an Euless, Texas public pool based on the fact they were Palestinian Muslims.
This hate crime being perpetrated is part of a long line of American anti-Palestinian/anti-Muslim bigotry.

Back in August, I came onto Tumblr with a blaze of glory.
That was intentional. I wanted as many eyes on me as possible, as I told my story involving Jamie Benn and the Dallas Stars. I wanted folks to ask questions and poke holes. That was the intention!
I disclosed my brain-injury. You all tried to use that against me.
Now a group of you are trying to use "mental illness" as a means to bully me.
So, let's address some shit.
First, all of you mental health professionals overlooked the other plausible reason for my erratic behavior.
I was high. In August, I had 5 uterine tumors removed and was on a cocktail of drugs for most of August. Those drugs included opioids and Ativan.
Add to that my usual nightly cannabis, and I was high outta my fucking mind.
I said that back then.
But you all wanted to weaponize my disability against me.
You calling me "crazy" is crazy.
I legitimately worked at an insane asylum. A nuthouse. A psychiatric hospital. For about 5 years.
This wasn't a hospital with.
This was an entire military fort sized hospital operated by state of Washington.
On my caseload, I had a dude who stabbed his family to death, another who raped children, another who burned down apartment buildings with people inside, and other accused crimes.
I would sit on my assigned ward and listen to a woman bang her head for hours until she would split her forehead open. Another dude kicked his foot through a glass door. Others would collect their urine, shit, and blood so they could throw it at you when they entered a room.
I was put on multiple kill lists by people capable of killing. Had to be warned multiple times that there were credible threats, so I would have to go work off the ward until their grievance faded. Had male patients who would try to get me alone so that they could fondle or rape Mr.
Have you ever read a manifesto? I have. I read manifestos of the people on my caseload.
Have you ever read a middle-aged man's sexual fantasies involving children? I have. It was part of my job responsibilities to ensure these folks were ready to discharge back into the community.
I had to go before a judge or commissioner and say to them, "yeah, these dudes did some bad things, but they were treated, and I think they will be safe going forward".
Then, I spent months with these dudes, ensuring they were stable in the community because my name was on that court order.
I did all of that until a violent patient turned their violence on me. I wasn't even their intended victim. I put myself between them and an open door.
You can't tell me anything about a crazy person until you had your head thumped on by an institutionalized "crazy" person.
I meant it when I said I have an attorney.
I am in active litigation with my former employer!
All of these posts are discoverable in that case!
Including all of my posts to hockey players. My posts on Tumblr.
I gotta turn that shit over because of litigation.
So, again, to PuckingTea2, if she wants to take it there, I shall!
Because she is trying to use my diagnosis--the one that I am in litigation with-- to bully me off this platform.
All because she does not want to believe that multiple (cuz it's MULTIPLE now) hockey players would be interested in a 50 year old woman.
Bitch...go watch Bull Durham.
Stop romanticizing these men.
They ALL think with their dicks.
You think you know what makes their dick hard, but I KNOW. That's why they would scramble to fuck me.
An older woman who is confident about her body and unashamed of her sexuality.
Do you not understand how appealing that is to men who think with their dicks?!
Women have one idea of what men want but men have a different idea
You women are saying they wouldn't. But I already know they would!
And, I ain't naming names, but I got two muthafuckas vying for my attention right now. If you actually applied critical thinking skills and actually read my posts and who I tagged, THEN GO PEEP THE GAME STATS, you would figure out one of them. The other is retired.
I ain't naming the active player because he is in a relationship. I do not mess with taken men. I do not pouch. I am a girl's girl when it comes to men, so I ain't gonna respond to the bait.
But I will tell you why he would be interested.
He can tell I am a freak. And based on the recent asks submitted to @toxicgossip about this player, it makes sense.
He's a freak. You girls who hooked up with him are turned off by his sexual kinks!
I am not!
I was writing about my own kinks before I knew he had kinks.
I am not afraid to peg a dude. I will eat a man's ass. I will even consider fisting.
Now...does that help?
Do you need me to be clearer than that as to why a hockey player would want to fuck me?
Because they know they would have a good time with a confident older woman who is physically attractive and comfortable in her skin. They know the lights would be on with me.
If they wanted to try something different, to them, they think I could teach them as the older woman!
I am also intelligent with multiple degrees. I have an actual personality and am not a carbon copy of another woman. And, I am funny as fuck.
They see a fucking freak!
I don't expect you young white girls to see that shit!
They encounter a bunch of young pick me girls who don't have personalities either.
Which is why I advocated for brown-skinned or black girls or thick girls to approach them. They want something different!
Some of them are freaks looking freaks!
You guys are the ones confusing sex and romance. I always said this was about lust!
Some of these dudes got mommy issues, and I got 34DDs with a 28 inch waist and 40 inch hip.
You young girls get self-conscious about your scars, stretch marks, and flaws.
By the time we reach 50, most of us women work through those insecurities!
Does it appear to you that that shit would bother me?
In fact, I am over on Instagram talking about hormonal beards, but I am also talking about my insatiable sex drive.
When you hit perimenopause, all you think about is fucking.
To these young dudes who only want to fuck without commitment, I am the perfect woman!
Do you get it now?!
