"Our Lord, Sheogorath, is but a man. He is only flesh and blood, not a god, and certainly not a Daedric Prince. There are no princes in the realms of the Daedra, only vile servitors such as the Hungers that we summon to do our bidding."

ALRIGHT! RP WISHLIST!
More cultist / loyal follower of Mora threads! (especially in non-tes verses though will happily accept more of those in tes ofc) You want to be one of its fave, don't you?
Possession threads- either muse or someone close to them makes it even more fun teehee
Actually paired with the first and even maybe the second, Mora using someone of power (a ruler, a religious leader, someone who people follow and listen to) to be a subtle puppet master of a kingdom / nation / hell maybe even planet
Mora finding out the truth of the things that were torn from it and why it feels unable to be satisfied and the very volatile time for it that comes after that fact. Please and thank you.
...."Redemption" arc post that discovery. Mora cannot be truly good imo but someone tempting it to see perhaps a form of 'protection' in the reality that has been created from the pieces torn from it or something like that.
On the flip side, corruption arc. You heard me right, corruption arc. Mora can be made worse and you can do it!
A Prince (or other God) being one conspiring amongst the others to see Mora and Apocrypha erased due to be what shouldn't exist and it finds out
A Prince (or other God) letting Mora in on the reality a good chunk of the Gods want it erased and are secretly planning that
Your Muse helping Mora figure out the reason certain things it cannot see is cause it cannot foresee anything that is majorly tied to it (it is blind to itself <3). Also all the mess that realization causes
Bringing back the old concept I had that I'll instead make a fun rp plot where Moras getting 'bored' of reality and wants to see it rewritten
Divine Mora threads! Divine Mora threads! I really wanna test that AU out. It warning your muse about something upcoming, trying to guide the proper flow of fate, acting as a messenger of the other Divines. Hell maybe even some kinda fucked up lesson to someone really trying to go for forbidden knowledge its trying to safe keep, and lets them go towards it to watch them be undone by it.
Also bonus with Divine; it finding out, like normal Mora, that its existence is still one the Old Spirits wish to erase simply due to it being something that should not exist. It does not matter if its "good" or "evil".
"Younger" Mora threads. Back when it was just created and reality was more interesting to it and it was a more Neutral entity fixated on feeding its curiosity
"Older", unhinged Mora. Mora whom has devoured every piece of knowledge possible and yet still feels the hunger and absence and cannot figure out why. It's goal has been achieved, it should be satisfied and yet it starves....
A piece of Mora is within a vessel when the Gods are successful and destroy Apocrypha and the rest of its matter. Mora is left stranded within this vessel in a realm that is not its own. Bonus if Mora had not discovered the desire for the other entities to see its true erasure. Either one can help it regain or gain something new and maybe even guide it differently while in this isolated and honestly "fragile" state, or watch it become unhinged with this isolation and disconnection.
Weakened / powerless Mora. Similar to above but the destruction is not necessary, just that it other than what knowledge it has gained Mora owns none of its normal powers / abilities. Bonus if it is in a lesser form funnier if it is like an octopus or something.
A very pointless but amusing one- your muse figuring out Mora is only Daedra by title not by the actual rules and logic of them. Something like trying to find its nymic to use against it and finding out there is none.
I'm sure more will come

That Lie, Cruelty
I was young, when I married him. Young and afraid, as is only traditional. But he was not the man I expected, not at first. He was beguiling, intoxicating, and I fell in love with him. His smile assuaged my every worry. How did he do it? I have wondered that time and time again. How could such a brazen lie be so utterly convincing? Was it Azura’s favor? A natural charm? Or was it because, like so many young girls, I was all too willing to believe it? And indeed, what else was there than to believe? Only a loveless marriage, wretched servitude to an ungrateful and uncaring husband. So I became his greatest accomplice, living in the lie of his smiles for as long as I could.
The illusion shattered eventually. I never stopped clinging to it, but the evidence continued to pile up until the day I knew the man I married was not the man I loved. And yet? I loved him still. Shared his bed, fought his battles, savored that intoxicating smile, all the while knowing what lurked beneath.
He was a cruel ruler. Cruel, and merciless. And yes, his charisma won him friends and allies, made him lord of all he surveyed, and for that he is still renowned. But there was no slight that my husband would not punish, no threshold he was not willing to cross if it meant that his power was secure. In private, he would confide in me that his actions were out of necessity. That, like a dutiful father, it was his duty to instill discipline in his children even if it meant resorting to harsh methods. Spare the rod, spoil the child.
I resented him for it with my every breath, but his choice of metaphor was the object of my fascination for a long time. My father had never beaten me when I was a child, never mistreated or abused me. How could he, to the child he had loved so dearly? It was enough already that my fate was to be married off. Was I spoiled, for having been spared such misfortune? I mused that perhaps my husband had been set upon me as a punishment.
And what of our children? Would he treat them the same way he treated his beloved Resdayn? That thought terrified me more than anything else. That I never bore any by him was my greatest triumphs in those days.
What motivated him? A hunger for power, certainly. Faith, blind faith in our ancestors, in Azura especially. It was no secret that she favored him; the poet once jokingly inquired whether he would moan her name in bed. I had no love for them myself, our fickle ancestors who had never treated us as anything but objects of their will. His cruelty was a murky reflection of theirs, shrouded in his natural charisma so as to remain palatable to his subjects. The Daedra have no need for charisma; their cruelty is upheld up by fear and temptation, giving power in exchange for worship. Veloth freed us from the yolk of Aldmeris only to enslave us to a different master.
But I think the most potent motivator was fear. Of what? My husband was the man who unified Resdayn, who made a bloody war against the Nords and a prosperous peace with the Dwemer, heroic feats that would have taken lesser mer decades to accomplish each, let alone in succession. He risked his life and his fortune. But what he feared losing, what he fought so desperately to protect, was his legacy. When I looked into his eyes I could see it, that desperate need to keep what he’d built from unravelling. In my own way, I was afraid for it too; the Resdayn he’d built was prosperous, his children - our children - were safer now than they had ever been.
But then I’d think back to what he’d said about fatherhood, and I would see the cruelties he inflicted upon his own people simply to protect that legacy which was so dear to him. The sacrifices alone, the intolerable rituals that he demanded of our people simply to keep the Daedra appeased, sickened me. Ultimately his children were nothing but another means to an end, fodder for his precious legend. Every drop of blood spilt was a sweet lie he told himself, each meeting with Azura a means of assuaging his fears the way he had assuaged mine.
He died as he had lived, afraid. I wept bitter tears for him, for the one who I had loved so dearly and who had done so much wrong on me and others. He was a cruel king, a deciever and a coward whose smile could move mountains. He taught me everything that I would need to succeed him.
I will be a merciful queen.

Namira, Daedric Prince of Hunger
Lady of Decay, Goddess of the Dark, Spirit Daedra, the Black Fly, patron of vermin and squalor
I was tempted to go all in on the revulsion aspect for this and make it authentically disgusting, but then I realized… i don’t like her nearly enough for that.

No pressure tags: @w-low and @alicelufenia and @lutethebodies (I actually don't have a lot of mutuals that I know are writing fic and we all keep tagging each other anyway!) I know you guys have already posted something. Mayhaps more if you want... you know I'm going to eat it up...
Anyway, here are a few lines of a Daedra centric one-shot that I wrote a few weeks go.
One of the priests walks into the kitchen, his head downturned in grief and sorrow. Daedra stops her chewing and watches as the man paces around the kitchen in distress.
"How do you do it?" he asks the drow. "How do you cope with death like you do?" he places his hands on his hips, his chest rising with a stressed breath.
She shrugs her shoulders, "I have been a cleric for far longer than you have been alive. Death is not unknown to me. The more you see, the less disturbing it becomes."
"Of course, you have seen so much of it. You're death domain. And a drow."
"Mhm."
The Priest shakes his head, looking towards the door and pointing a finger to the sick bay. "I cannot heal everyone, I know. That man, Londor, was not the first to die under the roof of this temple, and he will not be the last. Every night, their faces disturb me. Every night I hear them whisper, 'Why didn't you help me? Why didn't you save me?' I am going to hear Londor tonight." the man turns to face the Priestess sitting on the counter. "Don't they keep you up at night?"
Daedra holds the apple in her hand and spins it around. The shimmering red coat reminds her of the rivers of blood left dripping in her wake. The mounds of corpses marking her path through the Underdark and across Faerun. Only a few of them did she choose to kill of her own volition. Some were because she was driven by survival, the rest to feed her gluttonous hunger for murder. "Their faces haunt me, and they terrorize me in my nightmares. I remember many faces, and I have over a century of faces to remember. Every single one consumes a piece of my soul, and I fear I do not have much of one left."
"Patients of yours?"
Daedra chuckles, "Do not ask questions that you do not wish to know the answer to."

Now I got some for you! 1, 11, and 13. I know next to nothing about your Durge and I need to know them!
ITS REAL DURGEPOSTIN HOURS TONIGHT!! YEAAAAAAAAAA (or. dirgeposting if you will. hehehehe)
btw i love reading about daedra 💜💜💜 ive been having a blast reading all of those!!
1. What circumstances led to your Dark Urge becoming their Class/Subclass?
Dirge is a Great Old One Warlock, specifically pacted with the eldritch entity Caiphon. The catalyst was ironically Gortash, as dealing with Enver forced Dirge out of the temple more regularly and for longer periods. Dirge had a very isolating childhood, and once he was out more regularly, his own general lack of knowledge disgusted him. Seeking to "better himself" to "better fulfill his Father's goals", Dirge began obsessively pursuing knowledge of all kinds (and post tadpoling is a bit of a trivia freak because of it. ask him a question and wait two minutes and theres at least a 75% chance he'll know the answer as the information bubbles into his mind); in reality Dirge was pursuing his own autonomy with frantic zeal. Through Gortash he had glimpsed a different world than one bent in service to his Father, and though he rationalized it away, he yearned for it with a worldshaking intensity.
Going strictly into fanon territory here, as a warlock main through and through, im of the opinion that warlocks are born, not made. Theres some intrinsic quirk of the soul that, in the endless sweeps of human misery, catches the eye of a patron. Mechanically, its the warlocks Charisma stat, their strength of personality, but flavorwise its an undefinable something about them that draws a patron near. And most often than not, it is a want so visceral and heartrending as to have its own siren call. Such was it with Dirge. No matter how much knowledge he acquired, or how often he applied it, it was never enough. There was a deep seated need that refused to be fulfilled, a hunger never satisfied. And it called out beyond the bloodied depths of his souls out beyond the pale horizon, to a kindred spirit. The Violet Star of Knowledge. Caiphon.
I always tend to frame this aspect of Dirge's story as something like a fairytale, because it almost plays out like one. Drawn to the horizon by the call of Dirge's endless desire, Caiphon's invisible weight upon the fabric of fate draws knowledge of it into Dirge's lap, who then follows the obsessive trail right to the knowing of Caiphon's summoning. One moonless night, witness only by Gortash, Dirge pursues Caiphons power under the reasoning that the strength he gains will allow him to finally fulfill Bhaal's wish of killing the world. Speaking Caiphon's true eldritch name aloud rends his mouth asunder and claws at his throat and face, but Dirge persists despite the agony. Summoned by both Rite and Yearning, Caiphon crosses over from There to Here, its body an indescribable being of burning light (its form as the Violet Star revealed to be the color its light is perceived as once its cooled and stretched over the vast distance between Toril and The Far Realms), to grant Dirge's Wish Upon A Star. A being so beyond mortal preconception burns and blisters ones very mind to Know of It, but it nonetheless reaches into the bottomless depths of Dirge's soul to unearth the fervent Desire that had bridged the gap between them. There in the privacy of an eldritch embrace, free from Bhaal's gaze for the first time in his life, Dirge gives voice to the true wish held within for his entire life. Freedom.
The price for Dirge's pact is simple: Caiphon will claim his eye, and Dirge will house a fragment of the being within his own mind. From such a perch, Caiphon will observe whatever it wishes from Dirge's experiences, and communicate as it pleases within Dirge's mind. And until the circumstances are right for the conditions of pact to be fulfilled, Dirge will have access to whatever power he can claim mastery of. Dirge agrees, and Caiphons light scorches his eye, blackening his scelera and infusing his iris with its strange luminescence.
The two of them get on amicably, and both of them feel like theyre kind of ripping off the other. Caiphon got front row seats to the entirety of the Absolute plot and its subsequent destruction, and the contents of the Necromancy of Thay besides, and all it gave Dirge for the most part was some measly eldritch blasts. On Dirge's end he got a handheld eldritch shotgun that turns people into paste even at pointblank, and a plethora of broken magic bullshit besides, all in return for 14 consecutive mental breakdowns and a really messy situationship he never QUITE resolved. Theyre both inclined to be more generous to the other because of this. Caiphons ritual required a Witness to be conducted, but dont ask Gortash because hes spent the subsequent years trying to bleach it out of his memories
11. What motivates your Dark Urge to either embrace or resist the Urge?
and after THAT novel, this one is a LOT shorter LMAO
Dirge hates acting erratically, and LOATHES feeling like he isnt in control of himself. Pre Tadpole he Resisted the Urge so he didnt accidentally compromise his schemes to fulfill Bhaal's goals, and Post Tadpoling he doesnt like not being in control of when and who he kills, and after Act 2 the very idea just FEELS violating. Resisting the Urge is just how his particular paranoias about Being Himself will inevitably play out, over and over
13. How does your Dark Urge feel about killing?
LOVES it, its the only thing that gets him up in the morning (hes stopped being a morning person since acquiring a disabling brain injury 💔). Pre tadpoling he viewed it as a holy calling he took religious fervor in, an affirmation of faith and a reward for it all in one, and a divine responsibility besides. Post Tadpoling, its just his favorite activity. Hes good at it, it feels nice, and he isnt morally opposed to it so why not? He never properly develops empathy sympathy or compassion for other people, so they remain the same talking meatbags as in his bhaaltist days. He only ever really abstains out of convenience or for the sake of people he DOES care about, or to resist the influence of the Urge. He delights in every aspect of it, the mess and the effort and the gore, and he can be a bit of a sadist about it.
He stops trying to be normal about anything when it becomes abundantly clear that the killing urges wont Get Better, so anytime around or after the exploration of the Underdark, Dirge just kind of openly indulges his love of viscera, burying his face in carcasses, licking blood off daggers and other weapons (and sometimes people), and delighting in particularly messy kills. He very obviously is only restrained from being Worse by the influence of Karlach and Wyll lmao
👇 he accidentally killed a githyanki teenager here LMAO

Thank you for the tags @thequeenofthewinter and @sulphuricgrin
Tagging @bougainvillea-and-saltwater @pocket-vvardvark @firefly-factory @theoneandonlysemla @changelingsandothernonsense
Currently reading: I'm reading two long longfics by my lovely friends. @theoneandonlysemla Dealings with Daedra: Boethiah’s Wrath (which is part one of a two part series, features some very cool ocs and action) and @bougainvillea-and-saltwater The Priest and the Dragoness (LDB/Miraak, Jia is lovely and all the characters are so vibrant)
Last song I listened to: Happy Nation by Ace of Base tbh I only listen to this song because I saw a Nerevar edit on tiktok a while ago to this song and I was like "huh, this is so him" and so now I listen to it and think about that
Last series: I don't watch shows, last thing was probably House of the Dragon season 1 back when it premiered and I only made it to episode 4.
Last movie: VENOM 3 BROTHERRRRRRRRRRRR
Currently watching: I almost entirely watch youtube so I'll plop the last video I watched here: the crochet hunger games: how a star shaped blanket broke the internet. I don't crochet but I do other fibre arts and this video touches on the importance of accessibility in fibre arts but also the problem of slow arts like crochet and knitting becoming "viral" and instant gratification. Really good watch if you're into niche drama you know nothing about!
Sweet/Savoury/Spicy?: All but my fav food is a good pasta, specifically alfredo <3
Relationship status: prefer not to answer
Favourite colour: Deep red/crimson or dark teal
Current obsession: The Elder Scrolls of course, writing, feel a beading obsession coming back but I got too many fics to write so I feel like I don't have time to bead :P Also I like to bead while watching youtube but I haven't found much that interest me lately.
Tea or Coffee: Tea, can't have coffee
Last Thing I Googled: The Game Awards haha, watching right now

3, 4, 7, 15, 16, dealer’s choice of oc(s)!
hiiii!! thank you for the ask :3
3. What are their religious affiliations, and how does their worship (or lack thereof) affect their day-to-day life?
madlen: madlen, like her mother before her, has a healthy respect for kyne; when out hunting, she makes the time to ask for her blessing.
however, being a romantic at heart, she was always more drawn to mara out of all the nine divines her parents loved each other very much, and often thanked mara for the blessing of their union. that rubbed off a little! with all that being said, she can't exactly steal from people in a mara-honouring way, so her reverence for the goddess doesn't have a massive impact on her day-to-day life.
finally, being a thief, madlen has a respect for nocturnal, too - even more so if we're dealing with a version of madlen that becomes leader of the thieves' guild and joins the nightingales. such an arrangement she would see as more of transactional relationship than a matter of faith or religion.
faelen: - i hadn't really given much thought to faelen's religious beliefs before receiving this ask and it sent me down a massive y'ffre/hircine wormhole lol. i think at one point in his life, faelen lived in valenwood and, as many bosmer do, worshipped y'ffre. i think in particular the storytelling aspect of y'ffre would have appealed to faelen.
during this time, when hunting, he might have asked hircine for luck now and then, but never took it further than that. i think he had a healthy respect for hircine, as well as a fear of him, but also a curiosity he tried to shove down deep inside.
in the end, that curiosity would become too much to bear. faelen became deeply intrigued by hircine as a patron of shapeshifting. this was discovered, and he was warned against pursuing such interests. when he didn't, he was cast out of his clan.
now that he lives in skyrim and is a werewolf within the companions, faelen is now free to worship hircine - and does so diligently.
4. Do they believe the College of Winterhold caused the Great Collapse? If no, what is their theory?
yiri: - unlike many of her fellow nords, many of whom brought up the great collapse to dissuade her from going off to join the school, yiri does not harbour suspicions about the college. after reaching winterhold and speaking to its locals for herself, include a number of staff and students, she cemented her already held belief that the college was not responsible for the great collapse. as for what was behind it, she isn't certain - some powerful storm, perhaps? or a number of storms over the years, wearing down the rocks? she doesn't claim to have definite answers but can't find a compelling reason as to why the college would have done something like this.
7. Do they regret journeying to Skyrim? Or, if they were born in Skyrim, do they wish they could leave?
madlen: - skyrim is her home. granted, her life hasn't all been sunshine and rainbows. but she knows these mountains, these forests, these people. knows them and loves them, and wouldn't ever want to give them up.
faelen: - while he misses valenwood greatly, faelen has come to love skyrim, in spite (or perhaps because of) its many differences. furthermore, he enjoys the acceptance he has found within the ranks of the companions, and wouldn't discard it so easily.
yiri: - by and large, yiri loves her home country. with that being said, she definitely hungers to travel and see other shores. i don't think she would ever leave for good, but she would love to get out there.
15. How do they feel about consorting with daedra? Do they collect their artifacts? Are there some they would never interact with vs. some they would consider calling upon?
madlen: given her relationship with nocturnal, madlen clearly has no issues consorting with daedra... within reason. there are a great many whose worship she frowns on. others she wouldn't mind interacting with beyond nocturnal include azura, hircine, and meridia. with all that being said, she is not interested in collecting their artifacts.
faelen: similarly to madlen, faelen doesn't mind interacting with some daedra (namely hircine), even if he has no particular interest in gathering their artifacts. i think his list of 'acceptable' daedra is a little broader than madlen's - including herma mora, for example.
llarelis: as you might expect from a sithis-worshipping murderer, llarelis really doesn't care. she'd call upon any, if it suited her, and so long as it didn't risk her standing with sithis/the night mother.
16. What are their opinions on the civil war? Do they support a side or leave them to their own devices?
both madlen and yiri are young nord women who no doubt grew up surrounded by strong nord sentiments. at this stage in her life, madlen has travelled around enough and met a great enough variety of people that she really has no time for the 'skyrim for the nords' mentality; so, while she isn't part of the imperial army, that's definitely where her loyalties lie.
yiri grew up very sheltered, no doubt surrounded by the 'skyrim for the nords' type rhetoric, and didn't really have enough experience of the world to speak up against it. with that being said, during her journey north to winterhold, she had to pass through windhelm, and was very disturbed to see how the dark elves and argonians were treated. i think that sort of radicalised her, forcing her to reckon with the inevitable outcome of the 'skryim for the nords' type sentiments. as a result, she definitely leans towards the imperials.

Boethiah Quick Start Guide
A guide for beginning with Boethiah, intended to help you begin your practice, but not to serve as the only information you use.
Keep in mind most of this post is UPG versus just based on the fictional canon, based on my personal experiences with this entity. It may directly contrast fictional canon and the experiences of others.
BOETHIAH
boe-ee-thee-ah aka. Boethra prns. she / he / xe ( xe / xem / xeir / xeirs / xemself ) domain. Attribution’s Share date. November 02nd
Boethiah is the Daedric Prince of Plots and Treachery, who teaches followers to be strong and to stand up well for themselves. She does much and gives much, being a very active God. She watches over followers on a daily basis, deeply enjoying being active among them regardless.
She is strong and powerful, bold and brash. She speaks freely and wisely, but He can just the same crude and hasty. Xeir end goal ultimately is to make strong children, who can be like Her best traits.
Boethiah teaches to use baneful magic and use it well, and how to protect oneself from having it sent their way. Should a loyal follower be on the receiving end unjustly, Boethiah often is one of the first guides to hit back at whoever would dare to harm Xeir child. She can be a strict teacher, but He means well and works to strengthen and protect Xeir children.
Boethiah, when destroying the cruel, adores slowly destroying them and picking them apart, giving them slow and agonizing downfalls, while being in complete control of the situation. He loves to make sure that they know this is the will of the Divine, making sure their life goes exactly according to Xeir plan.
Within Chimer and Dunmer tradition, She is seen as the God-King of the Chimer; who led the Chimer to begin worshiping the Daedra. She was labeled later as the Anticipation of Almalexia, but is now seen as one of the Reclamations after the fall of the Tribunal. He was originally and then returned to status as one of the Three Good Daedra.
Within Khajiiti tradition, Boethra, Warrior of the East and West, teaches the old ways and is the patron of warriors and rebellious exiles. She was not necessarily prayed to, instead worshiped by enacting His ways and “walking the Path, and only hiding in order to pounce”.
Boethiah is not a great Prince to start with, but She’s also not a hard Prince to work with. Her brash and harsh nature can be difficult for some people to deal with – And His mean streak can be very devastating to experience. Xeir goal is to make strong children, which often includes difficult paths.

Deny authority, you are the Master of your own life.
Accept death as a reality, but do not fear it.
Always be ready to fight for your wellbeing.
Pursue your recovery and healing, fight for it against anything. If the war must be in your own head, so be it.
Make decisions after great deliberation.
Listen to your body, it will not tell you lies.
Do not be afraid of destruction, for it will lead to rebuilding. Seek the rebuild, the reformation.
Seek revolution until your life is at your ideal.
Pursue freedom above all else.
Note for all: It doesn’t have to be physical violence or physical destruction. If your “destruction” is by aggressively coping with your PTSD and seeking your recovery, then that counts and She will help you! But He is very pro violent destruction.

This is all suggestions. Please build it however you can, if a physical altar is even possible.
As always, you can use offering items to build an altar.

some form of weapon symbology. it can be a little figurine or something
🝊 identity . . .
Boethiah is a calloused being, though She shows a much kinder side to followers. She speaks short and firm, making it clear what He wants at any given time. He is strict, and isn’t shy of showing Xeir frustration, though She is calm and collected, and rarely yells or shows great rage, and never violence to a devout.
Boethiah prefers to show love through non-verbal components, by giving and providing things for followers, versus outright saying kind things to them.
Boethiah often appears in wildly different ways, so it’s hard to 100% pin down what She looks like. He even sometimes appears as non-humanoids, often within dreams.
Most typically, Boethiah appears as a Dunmer woman or man, often very strong looking, with long black hair that is kept up in an intricate style, often secured under a cloth of some form. She keeps much of His body covered.
Boethiah has a middling pitch of voice, speaking with great power. Xe enunciates well, enjoying big and fancy words. She speaks with a mild scratch, though it’s not super noticeable all the time.
☘ aspects . . .
Boethiah has not shared any aspects with me yet.
☉ domain . . .
Attribution's Share is Boethiah's domain. It was formerly called the Snake Mount.
It is it's own whole country, with Boethiah at the top, ruling over Her subjects. It has many towers and mazes within it, as both interest Him.
Within it, is the Great City of Rylmvar (a Daedric word, is what Boethiah told me), where most mortals and devotees of Boethiah live. It’s also where visitors mostly stick to.
One realm of Attribution's Share is the Boethiah Stadium, consisting of stormy skies, volcanic islands and lava seas. It is mostly avoided by mortals and instead inhabited by the Daedra of whom live in Attribution’s Share.
⛮ working with . . .
Working with Boethiah is an… odd thing to explain. She gives and gives, and expects much in return, enjoying being spoiled. But at the same time, if you prioritize Him over yourself, you’ll get a proper scolding. Xe truly cares for followers and will protect them well.
Boethiah expects much work and much reverence, and also expects Himself to provide in equal. Boethiah wants followers to be dedicated to Her worship and Xeir work.
The benefits are that one will be deeply protected and cared for by the Great Warrior Boethiah, and Boethiah is very much a Prince you want on your side.
If slighted, Boethiah can be brutal and harsh, even more so than other Princes. She will make sure you learn your lesson, and won't halt until you do. A proper apology and offering typically fixes the issue, but be prepared to have to do some extra work and pampering just in case.
Boethiah is not at all shy to interact directly with followers. Boethiah often directly talks to, sends signs to, approaches, etc followers with little to no apprehensions.
⚜ holidays & festivals . . .
Boethiah’s summoning day is November 02nd.
What we do is we summon Boethiah in the morning and spend our day with Her, engaging in things that build our strength and our willpower.

( MERETHIC ERA )
In the Late-Middle Merethic Era, Boethiah began appearing in the dreams and visions of a young prophet, Veloth. These visions guided Veloth in the creation of a new sect of Aldmeri dissidents, with a core belief being that mortals could ascend to godhood. However, the followers of Trinimac, the most powerful of the et'Ada, stridently opposed this new cult. His priests condemned the dissidents for blasphemy, threatening them with exile should they remain devoted to the teachings of Veloth. In response, it is said that Trinimac was tricked into going into Boethiah's mouth—or more literally, that Boethiah ate Trinimac.
As the priests prepared to pass judgment on the Veloth and his cult, Boethiah appeared before them in the guise and with the voice of Trinimac. He (Boethiah) gathered a crowd and began to tell them of the "lies" of the Aedra, and in particular of Trinimac; he spoke of the "Tri-Angled Truth", how to create the future Chimer culture, and with Mephala, the rules of Psijic Endeavor. When he was sure the priests were shamed and broken, and as proof of the truth of his words, Boethiah relieved himself of Trinimac in front of the crowd. The followers of both the Aedra and the Daedra then "rubbed the soil of Trinimac upon themselves and changed their skins". This reportedly made it easy for Boethiah's new people to become the "Changed Ones".
While the exact details of Boethiah's victory over Trinimac are unclear, it is said that after being swallowed, she (Boethiah) "tortured his spirit in her belly". Eventually, Boethiah grew bored and released Trinimac, later exiling him to a plane of ash. Trinimac became enraged and twisted after this torture and dishonor; he faded away and was reborn as Mauloch. The former Aedra's most devoted followers changed with him, becoming the Orsimer. However, according to Orcish accounts of the battle, Trinimac was about to deal a terrific blow, when Mephala appeared and stabbed him in the back. As Trinimac was reeling, Boethiah cast a "terrible ritual" to scar and twist his appearance before banishing Trinimac to "a place of choking air and ash", where accounts agree that he became Malacath. Other sources also claim that all of Trinimac's followers were changed into the Orsimer.
Towards the end of Veloth's exodus, they were approached by an aspect of Boethiah posing as a woman at Dunmeth Pass who proclaimed herself to be "Chimer-Friend", and had him swear an oath that would make him and his followers into better Mer. Veloth proclaimed on what would later become known as Veloth's Judgement, that he would never again use it nor any other tool to slay a foe, and that he would give his heart to his people and dedicate his life and soul to them. The Chimer-Friend then melted the ice blocking the pass and accompanied them into Morrowind.
( FIRST ERA )
In response to the destruction of Gilverdale at the hands of Molag Bal, the Tribunal god Sotha Sil sought out eight of the most influential Daedric Princes. Boethiah was among them, and between the 3rd and 5th of Rain's Hand in 1E 2920, a deal was made which would be known as the Coldharbour Compact. Little is known about the Compact, but it is theorized that it prevents the Princes from directly manifesting on Nirn. It is also speculated that, in order to secure the agreement of the Princes, Sotha Sil either made a credible threat to them or presented a significant offer in exchange.
( SECOND ERA )
In 2E 582, Boethiah manifested into an animus geode within Abamath to help keep the Exile of Mauloch sealed away. Boethiah had also had a hand in the formation of the Maulborn, manipulating Urili Vox into stealing the Judgement of Veloth to avenge her son. A mysterious Chimeri spirit by the name of Aspera also appeared around this time period, seeking to help The Vestige in acquiring the power of Saint Veloth and stopping Magistrate Vox. Aspera would show up once again in Eastmarch in the form of Aspera Giant-Friend, a mysterious Dunmer who could commune with giants. She was instrumental in the Ebonheart Pact's defeat of Filgor Orcthane's army of Orsimer by helping forge an alliance with said giants to overtake Cradlecrush, the ritual arena of Malacath. When asked about who her master was, she refused to answer, simply stating that "some grudges are ancient and some answers are beyond your understanding."
Later that same year, Boethiah held a tournament at the Dragonstar Arena in the Dragontail Mountains. Participants from across Tamriel came to try and defeat her champion, Hiath the Battlemaster. Here, Aspera appeared once again as an observer of the event, but this time as a living Dunmer named Aspera Arena-Friend. She references her time as a Chimeri spirit and as a friend to giants, and heavily implies that she has been an aspect of Boethiah. This would mean that the Prince was responsible both for the rise of Magistrate Vox and Vox's defeat by the Tribunal.
( THIRD ERA )
Around 3E 405, Boethiah offered "power" to an agent of the Blades in exchange for slaying a spellsword in the Iliac Bay region. In the Prince's own words, the target of her wrath was a "perfectly charming and charitable ass" who had been "annoying the hell out [her] for years." Once the deed was done, Boethia rewarded the agent with the Ebony Mail.
In 3E 427, Boethiah commanded the Nerevarine to help restore his ruined shrine off the coast of Vvardenfell. After the Nerevarine found a sculptor to restore his statue to its former glory, Boethiah granted the legendary sword Goldbrand to the hero.
Boethiah once again rewarded a hero with Goldbrand in 3E 433. This time, the recipient was the Hero of Kvatch, who traveled to one of the Prince's realms in Oblivion to participate in the Tournament of Ten Bloods. After the other nine challengers were slain, Boethiah declared the Hero to be his "Chosen One".
( FOURTH ERA )
Naarifin was said to have been a Boethiah worshiper who intended to bring about a prophecy known as 'The Culling', the implementation of which involved mass Daedric summoning. A large Boethiah cult operating under his orders was active during the Great War, with the Dremora blademaster Reive having been granted Goldbrand by Boethiah and working with the cult. Naarifin was defeated in battle and hanged from the White-Gold Tower for thirty-three days, with one source claiming he was carried away by a winged Daedra on the thirty-fourth.
In 4E 201, Boethiah called upon the Last Dragonborn to become her new champion. True to form, this involved slaying the old champion. Once the deed was done, Boethiah bestowed the Ebony Mail upon the Dragonborn.
𝌁 other vettable information . . .
When meditating on Boethiah's presence and name, She brings:
visions of: snakes crawling on arms • snake arm tattoos
smells of: cherries • heavy spice
sounds of: snakes hisses
feelings of: snakes slithering on you • being fiercely protected
❡ notes . . .
Boethiah helps a lot with protection from jinxes, hexes, curses, or any other magic done for a baneful reason. She also helps a lot with getting back at abusers.
Boethiah enjoys walking near mortals to enact will, so seeing Him as an aiding figure might be very common. As well, She generally enacts Her will and tries to help regardless. This doesn’t have to be a person, might be an animal or something.

WIP Not-Wednesday
I've been low on writing energy as a result of Various Ongoing IRL Events™, but the fabulous @nocturance tagged me to do WIP Wednesday not too long ago (thank you! 💖) and I figured I might as well give my motivation a poke by sharing a little somethin' somethin':
When he glances up again, she is standing before him once more, and in her hands is— It's his staff, but at the same time, it cannot be his staff. “You need something to help you while you walk, and, well, this is yours,” Elentari starts as she offers it out to him, and Miraak is struck by the note of uncertainty in her voice, as though even she wonders at herself, at how it is that she can undo death and the workings of Daedra both. “When I—When I brought you back, your eyes weren’t the only thing I… changed. It seems I restored this, too, and your sword and your mask.” “Restored it?” His own voice is scarcely a hair above a whisper; he reaches out, and with the tip of a trembling finger, he traces the rivers of gold veining the varnished wood like a repaired crack in pottery, the gleaming scales adorning the dragon’s head and the miniature golden points of its teeth, and the glittering wildfire gemstones of its eyes. “No, it… it was never like this,” he breathes as his grip curls around it. “Whatever you did when you saved this soul of mine, Elentari, ‘restored’ is not the word I would use. ‘Blessed’, perhaps, or ‘sanctified’—” “I just—” She shakes her head. “I didn’t know what I was doing, not really; it could have been anything, and I don’t think it would have mattered to me. All I wanted in that moment was—” Her eyes, wide and silver-touched in the pale starglow, search his for an answer he cannot give to her. Nor would he, not even if he could: with an ache as keen and sharp as a pang of hunger, he wants to hear her speak it aloud, to hear her tell him that he is what she yearned for so much that it eclipsed all else. “All I wanted in that moment was for you to come back,” she finishes softly, “a-and I didn’t care what form you took as long as you were here.” His staff is still in her hands, but it slips from her grasp with the gentlest pull. Miraak clutches it for something to do with himself, all too aware that he would otherwise lurch forwards, crush her against him, and simply lose himself in the perfect flesh-and-blood realness of her. “And here I am,” he says with a tender, triumphant smile. Elentari’s shoulders rise and fall with a long, slow breath, as if she, too, must pause and usher herself away from the same ledge. “And here you are,” she confirms, and it’s like the shadow of a cloud passing overhead, the practised, precise way she drops the shutters and blinks herself back to stable ground. “You wanted to see the skies, didn’t you? Come on, then.”
there, a little bit of a Miraak and Elentari in a Predicament of Pining for you all! now, I tag some of my talented mutuals @bougainvillea-and-saltwater, @kiir-do-faal-rahhe, @shitty-drawer, @bunniletto, and @bostoniangirl21 to join in if they'd like to share anything (no pressure whatsoever)! ✨
