After the end round 2 of the @ultimate-submas-tournament, the Woodsman shares a moment with Dad!AU Ingo (@a-stone-slab) and Injury Share AU Ingo (@waters-turn). Unfortunately, the Woodsman lets slip that he might not actually be as sane as he’s appeared so far. His competitors maaaayyyy have dodged a bullet there…

Although now that the mystery of who dumped the Woodsman into this mess has presented itself—

idc what the time is; i have been thinking about my old Sneasler Ingo nonstop for the past few weeks and HAD to revisit his design rn or id esplode 💥💥💥

Submas/PLA au idea but everything happens normally except Ingo has a shiny sneasel/sneasler that follows him around. Because the sneas’ mother, Lady Sneasler, rejected him bc of his different fur color, therefore leaving him to Ingo’s(and by extension Paulina’s and Akari’s/Rei’s) care.

Ingo then finds himself resonating with the sneas’ loneliness in that he(dubbed Sneaky the Sneasel) cannot interact with other sneasel, his litter-mates or not, due to his different fur color and therefore Sneaky cannot truly belong; in the same case of Ingo never truly fitting in due to his odd behaviors, his accent, his mental disorder of autism and the way he dresses. And that neither can actually interact with their siblings anymore

Ingo becomes the father he never thought himself to be due to Sneaky and the constant presence of Akari/Rei(they bring food for Sneaky and Ingo bc they love their old uncle)

Sneaky follows Ingo to Unova when he returns too. Emmet has many questions on why his brother was found in the middle of the forest with a ferally protective foreign pokemon protecting his unconscious body.

i doodled some things for the au tournament (@ultimate-submas-tournament ) the aus are really interesting and cool! while i couldn't actually do proper drawings for all of them, i did wanna do something.

Father of Time Chapter 22: Still Turning Out

Link was up surprisingly early, considering the night before, but he was still not up before his father.  Deity was sipping tea while breakfast kept warm on the fire, staring at the Zora mask on the table.  The teen yawned, rubbing sleep from his eyes as he sat, and frowned when his legs banged uncomfortably under the table. Just another sign of how much he had grown recently.  Man, things had been a lot easier when he went from being small to big with nothing in between.

"Morning, dad. Sorry about last night."

"You have nothing to be sorry for."

"Bleh. I feel like I'm too old to get sad about things in the middle of the night!"

The god trained his eyes on Link and the boy flushed red for a moment, squirming under his gaze.  "Do you think you're not allowed to have emotions?"

"Um, no."

"Do you think you will never be sad once you are an adult?"

Link looked down at the table for a moment, tracing the wood lines with his finger. "No."

"I was not embarrassed when Mother Farore comforted me."

"Yeah yeah, I get it.  I dunno why I'm embarrassed."

"You are still growing. I am sure there are many things you will feel and not understand."  Deity stood to finish the morning's breakfast and Link thought about that for a moment. As much as he had experienced in his very strange life, he had not actually grown up before and he realised he knew absolutely nothing about it.  His dad didn't really know either, did he? Aunt Aevum had said they were never kids. Could his dad give him advice on growing up? Would he need to find someone else to talk to, maybe? Oh no. How did you talk to someone about that? He would rather die.  Well, no. Dying was extreme. He'd rather do the entire Shadow Temple again. Wait, maybe not. Maybe he'd rather… You know what, never mind.  There were definitely worse things in life than talking to someone. As his dad set breakfast down in front of him, he tried to distract himself from all those highly uncomfortable thoughts and think about what the plan was for that day.

As the @ultimate-submas-tournament continues its course, the third Ingo bracket finds itself in an awkward triple match wherein @waters-turn ‘s Injury Share AU Ingo is actively bleeding to death in front of his opponents. @a-stone-slab ‘s Dad AU Ingo and @coramatus ‘s Woodsman!Ingo confer with each other on what to do.

Now the Woodsman might be out of his gourd but even he knows not to kick a man when he’s already down.

Too bad it’s not up to any of them. >:3c

Meanwhile, City Streets Emmet and @peacheenie ‘s MC Ingo chill in the sidelines and dunk on everyone.

In the background, NYC!Emmet has decided to mess around for funsies if only because he’s gone past the fourth wall and can do this. So everyone gets popcorn.

You know what, it's father's day (pretends like I'm not a whole day late), why not some dad! Ingo and Gris ramblings because I said so!

Ingo

Soccer dad basically. Has snacks hidden in his coat and has a time table of all the things his kids need to be at, where and when and with who. Being on time is being ten minutes early and proper nutrition is the utmost priority for healthy minds!

Overprotective, just a tad. A scrape or bruise? He's in tears as he applies one of everything the first aid kit has to offer. A rude child is bullying them, Ingo places a lifetime ban on the kid's family from the subway lines. (lawful evil)

Chef dad! Teaches them how to make pancakes and basic easy meals for when they wanna make a snack. Unfortunately, they have Gris's awful cooking talent so it's a 50/50 chance their cooking attends end up good or bad.

Gris

Spare the rod, spoil the kid type dad. The kids want a little bit of ice cream before dinner? Done. Ten more minutes to play before they go to bed? Done. Sneaking them pokeballs before their ten to catch and train pokemon? Done and Done! (Ingo slightly encouraged the last part)

Overprotective, but in a fight another parent type way. Some brat's being mean to their kids? That kid's up in a tree now like a scared cat. A karen mom is hogging the playground? Hope she likes a keyed mini van. Will commit arson in the name of their kids. (totally not a bad influence at all.) (chaotic good)

Street smart dad. Teach the kids how to hop fences just in case they need to run from a pokemon or something. Teaches them competitive strategies to make them the overlordes of the local pokemon battles. Teaching them the ways of team skull that were actually beneficial and none of the law breaking ones mostly >:)

Stylish Dad. Pulling up to the parent teacher conferences in the most punk spikes and studs and liberty spikes.

Those lovey dovey parents you see in movies where they'll kiss and their kids get grossed out because ew they're in love yuck

Very responsible! Despite each other's messes and flaws together they make a good team. Ingo is slightly strict and a little straight arrow, Gris is more relaxed and bends the rules a bit. Gris knows priorities but doesn't know the best execution but Ingo knows how to organize best. Two wacky braincells working together to be a high function single brain cell!

Very caring and unconditionally loving. Gris had a hard time growing up and Ingo didn't fit in quite either due to his mannerisms so they know the struggles of a kid who's a little different than the rest. They know when to give space and when the kids need attention, and how to make them feel wanted and loved.

Bonus: Uncle Emmet and Aunty Elesa

Emmet heavily encourages the kids pursuit in pokemon train and handle and also reinforces the idea of 'fuck around and find out' mentality when it comes to rule following and ruler breakers.

Elesa spoils the kids like no other. #1 gift giver for Christmas and birthdays. They're getting the newest model trains, the best shoes, they most favorite and expensive snacks! Ingo and Gris can't keep up but if it saves them a little bit of money?

Emmet will inpersinate Ingo when needed. The kids accidental got detention, Emmet calls them out of school to avoid it. They need a forged signature, Emmet's on the job. Need to go watch an R-Rated movie? Hell no Emmet's taking them to the newest pg thomas the train movie isntead.

Elesa babysits with the help of Skyla and it's a total spa day.

Emmet babysits and the kids run a battle tournament in their living for the whole neighborhood.

Bonus bonus:

Imagine it's bring-your-parents-to-school-day and the twins bring in the son of Alola's toughest formerly evil organization who's armored up in a battle jacket and platform docs and also one half of the formidable subway bosses that dresses like an office worker but will mop the floor with you if need be.

for the first time in a few days I have something other than art for yall, a fluffy oneshot for my Zorua/Zoroark hybrid au focused on Drayden being a dad to 6 year old twins who feel like wrestling. Was NOT the first actual fic of the series I planned to post but I like it, its very fluffy 

The Summary on A03 is:

Drayden hadn't planned on finding his sons but watching the two kids wrestle each other (and then wrestling them both in turn) makes him feel more fulfilled and full of love than he ever would have felt without them.

A short fic for my Zorua/Zoroark hybrid submas au, Shifting Spirits, where the twins have a human form, hybrid form and pokemon form and were found as human babies in the woods by Drayden who adopted them. Takes place when the twins are like 6 years old and is fluff all the way down :)

doublebattleshipping but PLA

I have been consumed by the brainrot that is doublebattleshipping and PLA AUs that I make at night with my other crackhead ideas. Okay so like after Ingo gets Hisu'ed, Emmet gets a therapy/emotional support Walking wake because fuck yes thank you @bottle-of-harpoons for this Crack head of an idea, because I love me some good mental health (He was in Paldea for Teracrystallisation not because of time travel Boogaloo dang it. Also to see if Emmet can make battle strategy with it or ban it from the subway because it's to big SAFEY FIRST) Most of the paradox forms are ban from the subway because too big or will fuck up the train in battle. A year pass and Evelyn and Emmet start dating in secret from the media because the media always ruins a good relationship. They marry. ( Ingo now has been gone for 4 years they been dating for 2) the media catches on, they have twins named Rei and Akari ( it was suppose to be Akira it means Ideal but Emmet was verry tired and it was Akari but it could mean like the lights in gearstation or as in "up" because one of Rei's meaning is "return, resume, go backwards" :) I'm so funny. The reason why Akari looks like Dawn is because she is her Idol much to Iris disappointment. Rei is just a coincidence. Either way Dawn is in Hisui just doing Galaxy team thing and oh look two children fall from the sky, they both look like Survey corps members Rei and Akari (dawn and Lucas) but they also look a bit like Warden Ingo? Dawn takes them to Jubilife village because what kind of sicko leaves two kids that are like 5 or 6 in the wilds. Ingo is there at Jubilife this time when Dawn kicks down the doors ( not really) going " Holy Helix! Ingo I found kids!" Lucas looks at the kids then to warden Ingo then to the two unconscious kids in Dawn's arms. " Ingo did you spawn kids?" Ingo give a face of confusion. Akari awakens and says it very bluntly that her father would be proud, " I am Akari what the heck am I." Ingo's fragments of memories are screaming because she acts like Emmet. Rei wakes up and the first thing he does is cry, because he is in a strange place that guy looks like his dad and he just got kidnapped by some look a likes. Akari bites Dawn and Dawn yelps and drops them both, the siblings run Ingo, Dawn, and Lucas chase after them they are on the pokemon battle field, Akari pulls out her Pokeball which Rei does too, Lucas is so confused right now. Dawn is hesitant about fighting two little children. Akari screams "Fight me coward!" She smells the her hesitation. " I am Akari. And this is my little brother Rei, I like to win more than anything else!" " I am Rei, w-will your tracks line up towards v-victory or will you be crushed in defeat." Both children yelled, " ALL ABOARD!" Akari sends out a strange Zorua, and Rei sends out Axew. Ingo is getting flashs, Akari sends out her Decidueye, Rei sends out Pikachu. " Zorua use sludge bomb on the bird!" " Pikachu use Iron tail." " Axew make sure it doesn't hit you!" " It has sludge bomb!!?'

(Akari and Rei lost their pokemon are Level sixteen to 20 they couldn't beat 62 level pokemon. Not even with enough plot armor)

" I am Akari, I lost." She mumbled. " F-fair play," her brother said, " You were very strong trainers." Ingo was having flashbacks where have he heard scripts, (scripts?) Similar to those children.

Meanwhile: Emmet

When his kids went missing, and team Neo Plasma was trying to gain power, his first instinct was to destroy them, which he did, Rosa live streamed it. Then future Volo tries to convince Emmet to his side saying I know where his kids are at, which lead to Evelyn and Emmet beating the living crap out of him. I mean Volo it sounds like you kidnapped them or work with the person who kidnapped them. And then Arceus because he needs to get to Hisui to protect his kids. And now they in Hisui. Emmet has Chandelure out to track their soul energy, and Evelyn grabs him to check the sky for higher ground with her Latios, remember Latios pokedex says it can go to Mach 4 so it's really fast so imagine your Sabi, you are flying with Lord Braviary and your vision says hey something fast and blue is going to pass you and you turn and a streak of blue flys by and then you see in your vision that was a Ingo in white and a women in blue. Wait what.

They end up in Jubilife village, so people panic because Emmet wears white and red, you know who else is white and red, Hisuian Zoroark. Akari and Rei sees them, and scream, " Mama! Papa!" While running to them. " Rei! Akari!" They hug, family reunion. (Looks at Ingo)

" Kids" Evelyn said.

" Yes mom?" Both their children replied.

" Your grounded."

" Whyyyyyyy?" Akari

" You uncoupled your trains from ours." Their father said.

" Emmet?"

Emmet turns around to only stare at his missing brother, and is that the Chamion of Sinnoh??

"Ingo?!"

"Your married???"

"You look like you got ran over by a train?"

Cue akward family reunion Between brothers.

One person liked the au comment so here it is:

Concept: people from the rift aren't uncommon. Jubilife and the clans frequently find them and bring them in. In fact, they even fall with all their memories in tact. They know who they are, how they came to be where they went, and where they came from. They know what they were dropped in Hisui to do. The problem is that after some time, some sooner and some later, their memories begin to fade. They remember who they are but they start to think they've always lived in Hisui. They came across with the rest of the jubilife residents, or they were accepted into the clan when they were young and grew up with them. All their memories of where they came warp to suit were they are now. Ingo is one of very few that still knows he is not where he needs to be due to Emmet- he knows there is someone that looks like him that is supposed to be with him, but he is not here. He keeps a hold of his coat and hat because they help remind him to remember something.

Rolling around in my head that, for some reason, Akari is the last to fall. They get a few people a month - one time twenty different people fell at the same time, as if Almighty Sinnoh was desperate that maybe many people would succeed where one couldn't - but their memories were the fastest to flee. They managed to get a lot done, but within the month they could barely recall where they came from.

Akari falls from the rift and after she does the color changes. She's there for a month- memories in tact, no new fallers. Two months- memories in tact, no new fallers. Everyone takes a breath, thinks maybe this is it. Maybe she's The One.

And the memory loss isn't something most people in jubilife bring up. It's depressing, because these people had homes and families and now they are lost in time and memory. Rei fumbles a couple times, mentions "before, when (name) was still helping" or "before (name) forgot." and Akari asks them about the things Rei mentioned but they don't remember. And that's weird but she doesn't think anything of it at first.

Except then things start getting fuzzy. It's after she takes care of Electrode, after she's met and befriended Ingo, after everyone thought she was in the clear. She starts forgetting things. Where she was going. Who she was supposed to meet. More than once Volo has found her and returned her to a campsite, because despite him wanting desperately to meet and defeat Arceus, to be noticed by the god, there is something uncanny and uncomfortable and frightening about people he knew and genuinely cared for forgetting themselves.

Akari struggles to hold on to her memory, lasting longer than the others, but it does fade. It falls to pieces. She stops leaving the village, helping care for the pokemon in the pastures. She doesn't understand why Rei and Laventon, who have always welcomed her so warmly and been so friendly since she first arrived and apprenticed with Marie, are suddenly so sad to see her. Why they don't discuss their research with her like they used to.

And Ingo arrives one day and Akari thinks he looks like a nice person, she may have to go and chat with him. Sure the frown is a little severe but something tells her he'd be comforting...

Except then he walks over to her, greets her, and asks why she hasn't been by for so long. And she's confused, because sure she has her Typhlosion (that she can't remember training) and a lot of the pokemon in the pasture are very affectionate towards her, but she's never been out of Jubilife village. It's scary out there! Wild pokemon are dangerous! (Even though her partner could easily one-shot many of them...)

And it's Ingo who realizes something is incredibly wrong. Because he remembers Akari, how excited she was to learn more about pokemon, how she loved getting rides from Sneasler and Wyrdeer over the highlands, how she delighted in making Melli feel bad for bullying her.

And Ingo realizes she's not the first to stop showing up in the highlands, he just wasn't as attached to anyone else. There are faces he recognizes in the village, faces of people who - at one point - were filling the Pokedex, were exploring the territory, were helping the nobles. Akari was not the first, he just wasn't close enough to any of the others to take notice that their disappearance from the Highlands wasn't retirement or injury, it was something worse.

And he excuses himself, heads back home, and stares at himself in the mirror, because something is off. Something has always been off but now he knows. now there is proof. And he tries to think about who he might be, why he knows something he is pretty certain he shouldn't. And decides the best vourse of action, to figure out what's going on, is to stop sitting around as a warden. He's going to calm the last noble. He's going to figure this out so whatever has happened will stop and people can go back home.
