"Ok, we can adopt another dog from Arianwen. But it's the last one!"
"Of course!"
"And no one's jumping on the bed!"
"Definitely not!"
"We'll need discipline!"
"I wholeheartedly agree!"
A sequel.
This was too precious to leave in the tag, @shivunin! Of course they'll both run to Amaranthine to see the puppies. And we all know that Cullen is the kind of dog owner who'll say far and wide that of course dogs shouldn't be on beds and couches, that's bad discipline, they have to learn... And then ignore everything. And would you wish to leave poor Chocolate Pudding sleeping all alone? That would be just cruel.
(Little Brother is not there because they still haven't found a mattress big enough for him too. And knowing him, he'll kick in his sleep. Aisling's working on it, tho.)
(Josie's still disappointed.)
(the dogs are Bran, Sceólang -the only girl- and Fer Mac, Cullen named them and they're all names from mythology. Amaranthine will be provided with foals and horses for free for a long, long time. Every one will come with food names. Oh and when Dorian will visit, Wen will be formally invited to the farm too, to choose her favourite horse corpse for them to reanimate. They have collected three to give her a choice, isn't that thoughtful. One has so many arrows in its hind that it looks more like a porcupine. Another has an unhinged jaw. The third has its head almost completely severed, but "Nah it's not a problem don't worry. They don't need to eat anyway.". She can have all three if she wants, of course.)

You know, it's crazy how I've heard about this on here and from my discord friends, I never found anything that alluded to the main synopsis of Dungeon Meshi being "These bitches broke, so they're gonna cook up some delicious monsters."

“There’s gotta be a solution to all of this! Even if my friends are on edge about the issue, I’ve got to find a way to bring it all back! Someway… Somehow…”
WARNING: Angst has begun to spread even further.

Okay so what are circle mages allowed to learn life skill wise? Obviously they are taught how to read, can't live in a place that's just a huge library and not, but beyond that what?
Wnnye knows how to mend clothing, according to dialogue between her and Alistair, so they can learn at least some form of sewing skills. How much though I don't know, is it something they need to get permission to get supplies of for from the supply room, similar to things for projects such as with the Rod of Fire?
The Circle is a place purposely set up to deny it's wards the opportunities to learn basic life skills so they remain dependent on the Chantry and it's amenities, however by virtue of not everyone getting their magic at an age where they learn nothing of a normal life before being kidnapped from their families and homes, some of the older apprentices brought in will know how to do tasks that otherwise a mage could be denied.
At what point is a skill considered harmless enough to let them learn, such as how to mend their own clothes, and to what point does it get that they are denied any opportunity to learn it, as I imagine what happens with cooking, which is either handled by tranquil, Chantry priests, or servants hired from outside. What is a Circle mages day to day life outside of their lectures and experiments?

best part about washing your binder is when you're wringing it out ever so gently then you proceed to violently spin it in air like a pizza chef to get that manual spin cycle in

She Loves to Cook, and She Loves to Eat
Finding love and beauty in the mundane
She Loves to Cook and She Loves to Eat (Tsukuritai Onna to Tabetai Onna) is a sweet josei/shoujo ai manga about Nomoto, a woman who loves to cook but worries about making too much, running into her neighbor, Kasuga, a woman who loves to eat good food no matter the amount. One day Nomoto gets stressed and makes too much food and offers some to Kasuga, who gladly accepts. While being a woman of few words, Kasuga deeply enjoys eating good food and doesn't hesitate to show it. Since then, Nomoto grows to enjoy cooking for her neighbor and eventually starts cooking dishes solely to have a reason to spend time with Kasuga. It's sweet and you get to see their love for one another grow slowly. 💐
There are a lot of things I love about this manga. Kasuga is a larger woman who loves to eat and it’s never played negatively. Her character is never reduced to just being self conscious, she is simply someone who loves good food and wants to eat a lot of it. While the overall tone of the manga is still lighthearted, Nomoto’s story also addresses how women’s passions are often minimized and only seen through the lens of how to attract men. She also directly pushes back against the idea that heterosexual relationships and romantic relationships in general are valued more by society than platonic ones. In all of this, neither of them are ever shown as naive or insecure, they are both adults who actively choose to live the way they do and there’s nothing wrong with it.
The biggest thing I love about this story though, is how they show appreciation for one another. As working adults, it’s really easy to get lost in the monotony of every day. To go through the motions of life, but not really know what comes next. It’s scary, but at this point it’s up to you to find meaning in day to day life. Much of how Nomoto and Kasuga bond is simply incorporating each other into their everyday life. Because they want to. By eating dinner together, going to the grocery store and being reminded of their favorite foods, allowing the other a peek into their daily routine. Their relationship is meaningful because they help each other find beauty in things they do every day. Being together makes them want to take the scenic route and get excited by fish prices at the farmer's market. Because love is usually depicted in grand gestures, shifting the moon and earth for the person you love, but sometimes love is also adding someone to your Google calendar.
