Saw someone say that Matilda should get a team comprised of people she's met over her adventures instead of generic Foundation NPCs and I absolutely love the idea.

Though we love her for having an obvious crush, she's not just some Sonetto simp and 2.0 proves it. She's got ideals and the resolve to realize them to the end, even inspiring people along the way.

Honestly it was probably already obvious from her first adventure in 1.3 and shenanigans with Sotheby in 1.4 but they didn't really give her much focus from what I recall so I'm only seeing it now.

Anyways, OP also said that some characters that joined the Foundation after her adventures would work better if she was the one leading due to their connection since they don't really fit in with the Foundation (like Joe and Shamane, tho I can't really remember if the latter joined or not).

It'd be fun to see her have her own team of Arcanists who have beef with the foundation, just like Team Timekeeper, maybe then she'll have a chance of stealing Sonetto :)

Jokes aside, it'd be really nice to see her dynamic with them again. Even more so if we include other characters who have a lot of potential for fun interactions, like Marcus, Jessica, and Yenisei (tho Yeni seems to have joined Team Timekeeper already, and I'm not sure if Jessica is even fit for field work).

Random thought but here me out IceMav shippers of Top Gun and TGM fandom:

Over the years living with Ice and Mav being together (Wingmen, Best Friends, Lovers, Partners, Married Spouses happily) Ice encourages Mav to have as many hobbies as his heart desires whether or not it’s odd or strange (not usually hobbies others, society would think a navy military man like Mav/Pete would have or be into hobby wise.)

So Mav take up quiet hobbies of either being or all hobbies of: Knitting/Crochet/Miniature Model or Diorama making houses or model airplanes or ships/Handsewing or Hand Embroidery sewing embroidery hoop art.

Ice proudly wearing or displaying in their house’s walls or rooms Mav’s various masterpieces or finished projects. (Little Ship Dioramas or Planes displayed in Ice’s office at the base. Hoop embroidery portraits of Navy dressed Geese. Or knitted/crochet stuffed animals or blanket throws everywhere.)

All the gang of their 86 Fly Squad, Their Baby Goslings/Kids of the Dagger Squad, Bradley “Rooster” Baby Goose, Viper, Jester, Carole, and even Penny and Amelia all own a gifted craftily handmade gift made by Mav (Everyone loves/covets said item made with love and special for them by Mav/MavDad/Uncle Mav!)

Thoughts? What do you think Mav would enjoy doing as a unexpected hobby or craft besides working on repairing/fixing/building his and Ice’s bikes, cars, planes?

Sweetest, most ADHD chickadee you’ll ever meet 😅 take Briar’s adrenaline and crank that up to 1000% with two extra helpings of sugar. Faybelle bounces off the walls and is absolutely a pick-me cheerleader without the bad attitude. She loves caffeine, is terrible in class, yet still somehow has the grades to be on the squad.

She hangs around Briar a lot to take advantage of her scary dog privileges, and Briar would never hurt Faybelle to avoid possibly derailing the new reality and clueing her into the fact that they are swapped. Their relationship in the new reality kinda reminds me of a duckling riding on the back of a gator XD

Faybelle is next on the list to be designed ^^

it's actually kind of funny how like. the second duckling squad of taub/kutner/13 get along much better than the first one. like chase and foreman and cameron barely liked one another for a long time. cameron and foreman both loved letting chase know he was a privileged idiot with daddy issues. chase and foreman both call cameron insufferable and annoying. cameron and foreman had arcs about their beef. when house asks cameron about his bedside manner she says "worse than usual." foreman openly told chase repeatedly he did not like him. cameron and chase got along slightly better by comparison, but only because they both hated foreman more and were less likely to have major arguments. and then they started fucking and got all toxic lesbian everywhere so?? improvement??

and then you have the new gang and like. taub and kutner are best friends. 13 is more aloof but gets along with them great. they all hang out and eat lunch together. like i bet 13 one time got an article published in a medical journal and kutner bought a supermarket cake and taub sincerely was happy for her and cameron and foreman were just SEETHING

Waller had promised that this was your last job. And you made sure she meant it. This was nothing more than community service. You did as little as possible with these shitheads. You sat in a van with Economos during missions, you never said a word unless absolutely necessary. You avoided Murn like the plague. You never accepted Harcourt's invitations to drinks. You always rejected Peacemaker's various advances (it's not like you would say yes in any other situation.) Even Adebayo, who was the most tolerable on the squad, always found a way to get on your nerves, usually with unwanted (but not unhelpful) advice. In spite of this, there was one person who just made your heart melt.

Sweet little Vigilante. So stupid, so blind and deaf and dumb. So sweet. Sure, he was a bit dopey. He had no brain-to-mouth filter whatsoever. He was extremely violent. He was a bit creepy. But you had a soft spot for him. There was something about his puppy dog eyes, or his dumbstruck smile that turned you into a gushy, weeping, puddle. He was just plain neat.

The others noticed, of course they did. You turned into this sweet, gushing mess around the idiot. You placed gentle hands on his cheeks, you listened to his god awful rants with a soft smile, you helped him with whatever he wanted.

Adrian didn't notice, obvious. He was oblivious to your gentleness towards him. In his heart, he knew he loved you but you were so scary. You were so mean to all the other agents, even Peacemaker! Despite this he tailed after you like a lost puppy, or an imprinted duckling. And you let him. If he ever gained the nerve to reach out to caress your arm, or your hand, or if he ever reached for your knives or your guns, you didn't push him away like you would have anyone else.

Maybe one day he'd realize how soft you truly were, maybe he'd ask you out. But for now, he'd secretly admire you, even blood-soaked, battered and beaten, and pretend you were nothing more than a favoured coworker.

Ok no but I know think kind of thing usually goes with Bob or Bradley, but Jake with a neighborhood babysitter/tutor/nanny type over the summer (I know it’s usually an age gap type thing but I feel like they’re the same age)

She’s making her own little “school” (like Julie Andrew’s in the sound of music) and she’s teaching them in a park or something and he always goes there to train or whatever..they meet it’s cute blah blah fluffy

He’s not paternal (hello childhood daddy issues) but she basically adopts those kids (maybe their parents really were treating them like accessories to post on social media and don’t really care) Jake is smitten with her and the kids. She wants to teach them about planes and the navy and all that..Jake gets them passes, the squad is A:since when does bagman like kids? B: why does he have 12 following him around like ducklings???

Anyway..Jake x nanny thought ❤️

Personally, I love the idea of Jake being reluctant of kids because he had a horrible father and then discovering he is not the same man.

Maybe one of the kids sees Jake working out and asks if he's a superhero (bc he's so strong) and she runs over apologizing and Jake is immediately smittened.

He goes to the park hoping to see her again. And yes, he absolutely chooses to work out near her and her kiddos. One day she's like "You can come say hi. They've been wanting to meet Captain America again."

At first he's a little reluctant but finds he enjoys talking to the kids and it's not as bad as he thought it would be! After a couple of sessions, the kids are using him as a human jungle gym and he loves it. And he and the nanny are finally going out!!! It only took the kids blurting out "He thinks you're really pretty! She likes you a lot!" for them to finally make plans for dinner.
