I’ve now have these detective games for the DS consoles.

I have the Touch Detective 2 1/2 first from a pawn shop just cause it caught my eye. After clearing a few episodes and I was like... I’m getting the other one on Amazon!

I also bought the Cate West game too cause it features hidden objects games that I like to do.

I try not to speculate in public about real people too much because it's hard to know what the power dynamics are behind the scenes.

Objectively, though, studios are motivated by money. This is why Sharon/EvC's role was cut for ScarJo in CATWS, who's a much bigger box office draw and a fan(boy) favourite with her Black Widow. In this context, the choice of pushing PC long past her (literal) expiry date is...odd, and I really doubt it's all to do with the Stucky panic. Is HA the biggest box office draw out of the current cast of actresses? No. Apart from the MCU franchise, she only has a couple of TV shows under her belt. Meanwhile we've got Zoe Saldana, Natalie Portman, and even Awkwafina who have all starred in blockbuster movie productions before coming into the franchise. Is HA the most critically acclaimed out of the current actresses? No, the best she got was a Golden Globes nomination in 2011. Meanwhile we've got Oscar winners Brie Larson, Natalie Portman and Lupita Nyong'o, not to mention veterans like Cate Blanchett and Michelle Pfeiffer and Tilda Swinton. Even younger actresses like Florence Pugh and Hailee Steinfeld have more award clout and critical acclaim outside of the core MCU audience.

Is PC really that interesting a character that we want to see a fourth iteration of her, as suggested by this article? Fuck no. Aside from the subjectivity of that statement, very little of her remade story has been new or fresh. It's simply a rewrite of pre-existing canon with her as the awkward OC insert. Meanwhile we've got far more interesting characters in Nebula, Nakia, Monica Rambeau, Maya and Yelena that I'd love to see more of. Which brings me to...

HA's famous "wait their turn". It's 2022. The classic White privileged well-educated able-bodied lady from the 1940s has had her turn in 6 movies (3 CA + 2 Av + 1 DS) and 2 seasons of AC and 1 season of What If. It's time for other women's stories.

And yet the studio keeps going back to her.

Recently, John Romita Jr. returned to Marvel Comics, promoting his debut with this new incredible art.

Turns out that C.B. Cebulski, Marvel’s editor-in-chief, confirmed just now that Moon Knight is getting a new solo series (YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES).

But what about Stephen?

Well, I’m just making a HUGE guess here but... Most characters in Romita’s art are currently featured in their main titles: Fantastic Four, Eternals, Shang-Chi, Captain Marvel, Thor, Guardians of the Galaxy (including their original outfit, as seen in recent solicitations), both Spider-Men, Hulk, X-Men (including Marauders with Ororo and X-Force with Wolverine), Black Panther, Captain America and Iron Man.

The only exceptions? Moon Knight, Ant-Man, Spectrum and... THAT’S RIGHT. DOCTOR STRANGE.

Moon Knight was just confirmed. It’s really strange that Stephen’s solo isn’t announced yet considering there’s a movie so close to debut.

It’s just a matter of time, in my opinion. Hopes are high, let’s make a prayer circle. Amen, Vishanti.

Also looking forward to new Ant-Man’s and Monica’s solo runs. Blessed!

Lost Rewatch: 1x07 The Moth

WHy does the show insist on focusing on Cate and Jack flirting instead of... literally anything else?

How did Locke know exactly where Charlie was going to run, and set his trap accordingly?

I understand Sayid asking Kate to help him, but why Boone? Is it just that he know’s about Danielle’s message? Why is Sayid still keeping that secret, especially after the whole ‘live together, die alone’ speech?

Sawyer might be a jerk, but he sure is an entertaining one!

Charlie asks Liam to promise him they’ll walk away, but seems fine when he just... doesn’t

We get a glimpse into Sun and Jin’s changing relationship. Yeah, Sun, you wear that sleeveless top!

Why did Charlie book a flight for immediately after he talked to Liam? If he said yes, what then?

Once again, Shannon does something incredibly useful and Boone gives her no credit!

So it takes a while to get from the caves to where Sayid was, right? As in, several hours? But from five o’ clock to sundown, Locke manages to get to Sayid, knock him out, break his stuff and get back without anyone noticing that he’s gone?

Walt asks Micheal if they can live here, and Michael looks at Sun. Why?

Overall Review:

I remember really liking this one when I first watched it. Maybe because it was the first episode focused on a character I actually really liked. Now my feelings on Charlie and his arc are... more mixed, and it’s to the detriment of this episode. Yes, watching Charlie battle his addiction is good, but it’s really lessened by knowing that he goes through basically the exact same thing in Season 2. Also shut up about Jate, show, I don’t care

Overall Rating: 6/10

Almost nothing in this episode matters, but still good to watch. And the moth speech rules!

He then spoke. “Seems like this is too fishy to pass as a ‘medical mistreatment.’ I need to find Sam and do some foot work.”

Here’s a old DS game reference to Cate West: The Vanishing Files.

It was based on the heroine protagonist, Cate West, as a crime novelist plagued by psychic visions, who has been approached by the police to help solve a series of "unsolvable" cases, dubbed "The Vanishing Files".

I’m not going to spoil the game much, but her ability to ‘see’ the past and the future potential victims by touching certain clues, can help them prevent it from happening and help solve old case files.

HOWEVER, in this version, it would be a neat trait for Felix if he had that similar power! (I mean, other than detecting lies, right?)

I could see him using it as to recreate the crime scene on ‘how’ it happened from the evidence they’ve collected. He can’t ‘see’ who done it until he can get all of the ‘hard’ evidence and found proof that the guilty party did it!

In this fan art, there’s another reference on the book. It’s based on the Steam game of Lamplight City. This is a detective story with a Victorian era, case solving, point and click, decision matters, retro pixel art style, steam punk themed, story rich game. I REALLY enjoyed watching the walkthrough of the game. The partner is funny, believe me!

I’m not gonna spoil too much of that either if you haven’t played it, but if it interest you, I will leave the link of the game here or if you’re broke, the videos here.
