That being said, in @toxicpineapple ‘s fic, it is perfectly implemented! As part of @drv3giftexchangeclub ‘s Halloween Big Bang, @lucitrius (BOO!) and I made illustrations for Tox’s fic “Play to Your Strengths”! Please go read it before the spooky season fully escapes us

Hi guys! I had the pleasure to work with @thefloralpeach and @wingogo for the @drv3giftexchangeclub DRV3 Halloween Big Bang. They both did an amazing job and I had so much fun writing this.

Remains of the Day (Saimatsu Corpse Bride-Inspired AU)

As Shuichi Saihara, heir to the prestigious Everglot Estate, prepares to enter another arranged marriage, he is visited by his childhood friend and previous betrothed, Lady Kaede, who just so happens to be dead. With the help of old and new friends, Shuichi must discover the truth behind Kaede's death so that she can finally complete her unfinished business and move on to the Beyond, but he is also wrestling with some unfinished business of his own...

A Saimatsu-Centric Angst & Romance (with optional happy ending in a bonus epilogue) in a Corpse Bride-inspired AU also featuring some Momoharu and Shuichi, Kaede, Kaito, & Maki friendship. Other DRV3 characters (i.e. Rantaro, Kokichi, Gonta, Tenko, Himiko, Kirumi, Tsumugi, and Angie) make cameo appearances. Rated T for heavy themes, angst, and some peril, death, and violence, but it is not graphically described, gory, or intended to be frightening. Please see our AO3 tags for specific warnings.

This is Abyssopelagic: The Angel from Below!

Here is the cover art I illustrated in collaboration with @goatistired and @kantokraze for the Halloween Big Bang with @drv3giftexchangeclub !!!

The focus of this collab is Harunaga with Maki Harukawa as a struggling college student and Angie Yonaga as a being from deep within the ocean, with appearances made by Maki's ex-girlfriend Kaede Akamatsu and a post-grad student Korekiyo Shinguuji searching for something by the sea... Check the tags for more and heed the warnings in the chapter notes!

Pilar has posted the first of three chapters in their poignant and beautifully written piece for this collab on AO3, linked here!

Kiyo's piece will come at a later date and be linked to a future edit of this post before the end of the sharing period along with the two latter chapters from Pilar, so be sure to bookmark the fic if it catches your fancy!!

The monsters of Hope's Peak are putting together a haunted house to try to connect to a nearby human town!

Maki, a monster hunter in disguise, is very much not happy with the idea. After all, she was always taught that monsters would take any opportunity to harm humanity. This could all just be a ploy to kill off the nearby town. It didn’t matter if... the students there seemed nice. It was her job to protect humanity from monster scum. She just had to sabotage the event in any way she could. Kaito seems to have other ideas.

Meanwhile, Miu and Kazuichi are hard at work on the haunted house, but with Taka breathing down their necks, they’ve had hardly any creative freedom. Even worse, their inventions keep failing for some reason, which is only making Taka stricter. Maybe with some help from a friend or two, they can convince Taka to do it their way.
