i hated this so fucking much bc my 2 am bitch-ass didnt want to read a recap thats probably longer than any slowburn out there

anyways here it is

also, uhhH sorry im using this as a end of session discussion bc that shit gets explained in her as well. and im not writing up more recaps of a recap so this is where im done for the day. (by done for the day i mean last nights session, im still doing a liveblog soon. i just wrote this yesterday)

i just realized how the intermission spades probably fucking foreshadowed the whole jack revolts thing and gains the ring, which was also technically JOHNS fault considering he slashed up the doll in the first place

my god, i guess thats the only good aspect of the recap. looking back at things and realizing the missing pieces.

oh that makes sense for the whole “this prototyping had no effect on the enemies, since he was already in the medium” i didnt actually think about that

there’s still the whole entire lab terminal thing and how mom basically knows the place exists. i guess we’re still venturing onto that and itll come up later when we find out how mom knows SO MUCH about the game.

anyways, this is cute. i love how they’ve come to be friends through mutual frustration. good part in the comic.

how do you plan/script your comics? (sorry if this has been asked before!)

hi! I kinda talked about how i plan comics here and here, if it helps! But hey you asked and it made me happy so have a longer post.

For Coffee (since it’s my latest big comic i can talk about it in a bit more detail) it started with me just staring blankly into space, trying to find a Cool Idea that was in line with my theme for this comic (”dream team”), and then THIS MOMENT came to me:

(a panel of someone stabbing someone!!! STAB!!!!!)

(a panel of someone looking down at someone else, tired and weary)

(another panel, they look at someone on the ground (alive? dead?)) “I dont think we can keep doing this, XXXX.”

or, as I wrote it in my rough notes:

which only makes sense to myself, cuz thats MY notes.

but yeah i saw this moment and i was like ooooOOOOOOOH MAN!!!! DUDE!!!! THATS GOOD SHIT!!!!! WOAH!!!!! YEYYEYAYAYH

I actually intended for this to be the very start of Coffee! you know, kind of a “HOW DID WE GET TO THIS?” prologue. but then it didnt make sense with the story i created so i had to cut it, boo!!!

and then from that I wrote the dialogue! Just little snippets, from that one moment, trying to figure out how we got here- who’s XXXX? who’s stabbing them? why? BETRAYAL? what are they tired of? WHATS GOING ON HERE? LET’S FIND OUT

and then it’s just writing snippets and putting them in some kinda order and also who cares about punctuation or names or anything that might help someone that’s not me figure out what the hell is going on

(keymashes are placeholders) (i did learn how to write scripts once upon a time but i draw comics on my own so who needs a well written script HUH?)

when i write my dialogue i usually have a basic idea of how each panel is gonna look, how many panels, etc, but i dont usually worry about that, this is the DIALOGUE stage DIALOGUE is IMPORTANT!!!!!

(if i do write down visual cues at this stage theyre still unknown to anyone but me. what does “aaaah” mean visually? BELIEVE ME, I KNOW.)

but adrienne this comic was for a comic jam thing and the constraint was that your comic needed to have a quote from a movie/tv show! oh yeah so i was like “hm if theyre assassins, something from the godfather maybe lmao” and i figured i’d think about it later and!!! while i was writing the dialogue i was like “and then X says ‘you think you can be happy without me or something.... stupid... NO WAY BABY, I’M IT’“ and i was like “THATS SUCH A GOOD LINE???? THATS SUCH A GOOD LINE THERES NO WAY I CAME UP WITH THAT SHIT” and i didnt because it was from Gone Girl. (taps side of my head) dont need to find a quote if ya brain just does it by itself

and then when i have all my dialogue pretty much 90% figured out its FIGURING OUT THE CHARACTER DESIGNS TIME

(nailed it first try) (also didnt figure out the barista’s design cuz this dummy only appears for one and a half panels!!!!! who cares about you barista guy. no one. except Y)

and then its EXCEL TIME

(each line is a panel) (i never fill the status column anymore because i try to draw pages chronologically so... i usually know where im at lmao)

at that stage i have a better idea of what’s on each page, in each panel, and i usually refine the dialogue here as well. this whole thing till now took like three, four hours

also i dont know where to put this but i always try to... kind of foreshadow the end thru expressions... and so i always keep in mind what each character is feeling at every panel! i dont always write it down but i ALWAYS remember. what i mean to say is that the second Y was like “arent you tired of this” X was immediately like “ooooooooooh this binch wants to leave me time to play dumb”

and then it’s thumbnails time

all done on procreate this time because it’s easier/faster/makes my drawings more loose and fun! just the thumbnails though because no text on procreate (AT THE TIME!!!!!!!!!!). just trying out poses and expressions, not really focusing on layout because weh. also at that stage i cut off one page! i had it roughed out but i cut it! right after X goes “lmao you’ll never have a normal life you loser” i IMMEDIATELY had a page with just. X’s dead body. eyes open and all. and it freaked me out!!!! so i removed it lmao that was too jarring even for me and i drew the damn thing. so BUH BYE

this took me. six hours...?

and then actual pages on photoshop!

(not pictured: refs and youtube with some kingdom hearts LPs open on my other screen)

and then drawing all the pages and resizing and exporting to PDF and then i went to bed cuz it was 3am.

that’s how cha girl plans comics i hope it helped and anyway it’s fine if it didnt because im gonna be honest i love writing about my process. thank you for reading

Is okey that you feel that way, everyone seach for aproval and thats great! So I was thinking on maybe you can move your comic to Tapas? A lot more people have an account on there and its more probably that you get more coments, also I know it has like a "reward" sistem? Maybe it will help you! (Sorry for my bad english)

-----------------------------------YOUR ENGLISH IS JUST FINE i’ll beat u up if you talk bad about your english i couldnt even tell it wasnt your first language OI know people have told me before to move to tapas, but thats so much work moving 600+ pages plus i hate the layout of that site, and some of the people on that site i’d rather avoid cause they are just hmmmmmmmmmmmm yeah,,though posters on SJ are just as bad,,, so idunno ( plus i dont know how that site works i read like 1 comic on there that a friend links me some times if some one showed me how to use it i might try...maybe posted all the pages then hand the account over c;;;;;;;;;; (PFT NO DONT DO THAT TOO MUCH WORK) I guess its contradicting to say i want more interaction but at the same time dont want to move to a site where there are more people but i dont know at the pit of my stomach i feel like it wont go anywhere there either and it will be a wasted effort i guess im kind of beaten down at this point I dont want to admit it but i just feel bland about the whole thing i feel really bad for the people that have read it and still do that are waiting long periods to read more but i dont feel like its 100% my fault that i’ve just about given up its been a long time coming i guess i should say im deeply sorry very very sorry but there is only 1 of me and 24 hours in a day if some on wants to invest time and be my coloring buddy pages might get out faster seeing as i hate to color and write words PFT but thats again wayyyyyyyyyy to much to ask so i’ll keep to my self and do as much as I can do atm and right now i know thats not making people happy so im really sorry for that I really am I would be pissed at me too but i hope every one understand im a human too ;v; !! thank you for the reply btw im glad for the input about moving im just not sure if i want to invest time in that yet

I want to apologize for my rambling and butt kissing in advance haha. You're are simply one amazing writer and I really enjoy seeing you work. You and several other people have inspired create my own xeno/ terato headcanon/scenario page. . I want to make one specifically cater to the lgbt+ community as I feel there is a lack of representation for gender, romantic, and sexual attractions. I just want to know what you think of the idea and how I should proceed with starting a page.

I think it’s a good idea, however be prepared for a lot of people going “but what about [XYZ]?!?!?!?”. i’m not talking from personal experience, but one blog i follow who does a lot of LGBT monster stuff said that sometimes when they talk abt a certain subject, they lose some followers (granted, the blog STILL has 1,000+ followers, so it’s not really that big a deal- plus its the trash taking itself out LMAO)

sorry im rambling too (also thank you for letting me know- i LOVE hearing about how my writing inspires others :V)

I’d say go for it! just be sure to lay down the ground rules clearly, since SOME people may want to say “WELL IT ISNT IN THE RULES SO U HAVE TO” (hey, anyone remember THAT fiasco a couple weeks ago?)

as for the ‘starting a page’ thing: i dont know about other blogs, but when i made this blog, i made sure i liked how the theme layout was, i made ALL of my pages, reblogged some content, and then asked for promos from blogs i knew. granted, if you already have your own content: great! original content ALWAYS draws people in- heck, most of my stuff is original and everyone seems to love it

also be sure to know if you want it to be your main blog, or a side blog. i fucked up big time and made werewolfbeans a sideblog, so now i cant really change that and ive regretted it ever since :’^)

it also helps to TAG. EVERYTHING. YOU MAKE. i BELIEVE tumblr uses the FIRST TWENTY, but i go by the “first five” rule. teratophilia/xenophilia will MAKE SURE your stuff gets out in the main tag. then worry about what else you want to tag it as (monster boyfriend, monster girlfriend, etc)

this is already a little long so if you have any other questions, i ENCOURAGE you to either DM me on here, or talk to other terato blogs. remember: everyone loves something! and the community is always open to new content creators- no matter what the content is!

I get that you don’t want anyone else writing on your blog, but are you comfortable with simply going to your semi- mod and ask and chat about requests and maybe use their ideas but not let them write anything? ¾

Hey anon! Sorry in advance for the weird layout of this ask bc im on mobile atm. About the questions you raised, well, i think all of this is going to fall down between me and @trash–universe‘s agreements. So far I’ve talked to them and they didn’t really complain about the ficlist page being the “dirty job,” they actually seemed pretty excited about it!

Plus, take it to heart that calling something a “dirty job” means you’re judging it. Just because you dont enjoy doing HTML doesnt mean Maxx doesnt as well. That’s why i asked for volunteers–had they not wanted to do it, they would not have volunteered. I gave the terms on what had to be done. They agreed. End of story.

About the “their ideas” thing, these ideas of course will be used accordingly; if Maxx is fine with me using the ideas, Maxx’s name/url will come up on the request as a collaborator. If Maxx doesn’t want me to use said ideas, then I will only use said ideas to help me spring up newer ones. Their name/url will still be there to thank the inspiration.

Writing for polyhaikyuu is a very personal thing for me and my mental health, so I understand I may seem selfish for finally getting another mod but not letting them help with the pile of requests I do have. But selfishness is something that comes with relearning self love?? I hope you can understand this. Polyhaikyuu is as much a space for poly volleyboys as it is a safe space for me to wind down and think of being loved by multiple fictional characters lolol.

Maxx has expressed a desire to write poly hcs, and they have all the freedom to do so on their own blog–I will happily reblog them here. Just like I do with everyone’s poly posts (or at least as I try). I’m not stopping them from writing out their own ideas.

All of the semi-mod terms may or may not change in the future, and thats up to our discretion. If you have any other problems maybe you can forward it to Maxx themselves. :)

There's a few little things that have yet to happen that will loop as a recurring moment from this scene. BUT YO, yeah, somatic experience ended up giving Jason a pretty harsh memory of Sten that he tried to resolve in present time.

It could be noted that Jason being aware of JASON and his memory super-imposing Sten over that name as a bit trippy.

I love school I really do learning new things and exciting things that I can potential use later in life is fascinating, horrifying and absolutely amazing to me like holy shit!!! Now though I’m trying to do a 15 page essay literally a few hours before class and I am so increadibly uncomfortable and anxious about everything. Just a run down of my past week starting from last friday

>Went to go talk to a designated writing helper that is specifically for my course for help and I informed her I didnt have much because I was absolutely lost and needed a better understanding of the layout I was writing in.

>>she immediately was trying to get me to leave the meeting firstly because I was sick but I only had a minor cough and she was complaining she didnt want to catch anything and secondly right after telling me that she could help no matter how much I’ve written after learning reason 1(aka I was sick) and seeing that I only had a paragraph to see if I was going into the right direction she told me to basically leave and come back when I had more

(Like ok fine yes I could’ve written more alright I get that fully falls on me and I apologized profusely to her about it but my reasoning that I explained to her is this is already a two hour paper with the research Ive had to conduct and separate summaries I;ve already written for it I dont want to spend another hour or 2 writing another 4 pages of shit that doesnt make sense or isnt what they are asking for and having to go back and re-write everything cojmpletely making those hours and pages and research useless. I already know that I dont understand the paper set up nor the material or what they were asking me to write and I wasnt cojmfortable with what I had already written Im not going to waste my time)

>now onto this week I;ve had three tests two of which I wasnt worried about at all and did fine on and one that I hadnt yet started studying for monday night that was happening on tuesday morning

>>when my friend suddenyl calls me at 2 am asking to be taken to the hospital so I help her out and dont return until 5am it was great

>>>good news my test that morning I did pretty good on and my friend is doing great now (I love her so much honestly as long as she was ok I didnt care about the test at that point)

Now its thursday night friday morning and my paper is due and I am dying

>>Mostly my fault for not timing things out correctly and being a piece of shit (like reading my immortal to my roommate who never heard of it before ((its so cringy)))

Just For The Record............

My name is Nirvana I am 25 years old I was born and raised in the Heart of Cairo/Egypt. Like I said in a previous blog post that I am not a blogger, I’m just a girl who likes to speak her mind that’s all!!! My thoughts and ideas might not be accepted here in the Egyptian Culture but I really don’t care I wont change my thoughts and beliefs for anybody or anyone at all, I don’t mean to be mean or rude, I just don’t care what people from my culture think of beliefs and thoughts at all.

My brain might be so westernized, but to me being westernized and open minded is way better than being closed minded like people here in Egypt (not trying to say that all people in Egypt are closed minded, but honestly speaking mostly are as a mater of fact), the thing is I really cant stand the Egyptian mentality and honestly speaking it makes me sick to my stomach this kind of mentality, because they simply don’t think at all they just speak without logic and they just spit out words from their mouth without thinking, honestly speaking, which is something nasty and disgusting as a mater of fact, that’s why I really cant stand the Egyptian mentality at all, and that’s why you will find me criticizing it a lot here in this blog.

I honestly don’t want to sound that I keep on criticizing and I am the kinda girl who criticizing everything and anything and she dose not like anything at all because this is so not true, I just criticizing the stuff that I really don’t like honestly and the stuff I see wrong in my personal perspective and opinion, I know for a fact people don’t have to agree with me at all it just personal opinions in the end.

Another reason why I have created this blog is that, I really find it hard to speak to people about how I feel or how i think or about my personal beliefs or anything at all, that’s why I have created this blog in order to post everything that bothers me and everything I want to talk about without being Critisized my people, because honestly speaking writing is the best way to clear your thoughts out and to clarify your mind from the negative ideas and also if there is something bothering you writing will help you put your mind at ease and will help you relax, that’s why I really love writing and blogging.

This blog is about............

so basically speaking this blog is created for the following reasons, to clear my mind off everything that is bothering me, to write my thoughts and beliefs, to have an archives of everything I write because I really don’t like to throw anything that I write out, those are the reasons why I have created this blog for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cursing sometimes:

Just for the record, when I speak my mind I curse sometimes and sometimes i used lots of Fwords pardon me, I know its a bad habit and I should not be doing it, but I cannot help it sometimes, there are setuations that makes you curse and makes you feel like cursing and you don’t have have a choice but to curse, you try so hard not to curse, but in the end you reach to the point that there is no other choice but to curse, anyway what I am trying to say is that I will try so hard not to say Fwords, but if I couldent, then please don’t blame me as for I had to, sorry :-) .

Updating this blog when i have time and there is something i want to say............

So basically speaking this blog will be only updated when I feel like there is something I really want to talk about and when there is something I want to say, nothing else, so basically speaking sometimes you will find a huge gap between each and every blog I have posted and sometimes I there is a short gap between each and every blog post I have posted, it all depends on what I want to post and when, so there is no fixed time for updating and there is no fixed time for new posts either, so yeah......

I was thinking of creating videos instead of blogging............

I was thinking about creating videos instead of blogging, because you know.....its super easier to talk in front of the camera instead of just writing and writing and writing, but honestly speaking I really don’t like creating videos at all, I know for a fact creating videos saves more time and you get to talk instead of writing but I like writing more, I honestly prefer the harder way I really don’t know why.... creating videos is nice and its fun and saves time and energy, but I prefer writing more, my blog posts might be so long and people might not read them all, but still to me its better than looking into a mobile camera or a laptop camera or whatever camera and talk (at least its better for me like that), that’s why I dropped the thought of speaking in a video and choose writing instead.

I wont be changing the blog look or theme a lot............

Honestly speaking I wont be changing the blog theme or blog look a lot, meaning that the blog them might be changed once every year or once every six months, something like that, because the thing is I’m super super super lazy and I really don’t like to change layouts a lot at all, plus to me its like: the layout looks super cute why should I change it, right ?! so that’s why I will keep this layout and any layout choose for my blog for as long as possible and for as long as I can keep it, then when I get bored of it (usually I don’t get bored from anything so easy) I’ll change it, that’s all!!!!!

All about the blog:

This blog has the following pages and sections:

Owner section:

Where it has everything and anything you need to know about the owner and it has the following pages: Biography: where you will find the life story of the creator of the blog from the day she was born till this very moment she is writing her biography in. Basic Information: Where you will fine everything about here in short basic sentences instead of going through all the details in the biography. 100 Facts: where you will find 100 facts about the owner but in a short sentences. Wish list: Everything the owner wishes to buy and each and every time the owner buy something from the wish list, the owner strikes it out. A Journey Around The World: List of countries and cities the owner have traveled to and what did she like about each and every city she has been to. Gallery: bunch of photos of her and photos she captured with either her phone or her camera all located in this section.

Shadow Section:

I love my dog more than anything, that’s why I have decided to create and entire section for him, I treat him as a family member and he’s the most loyal friend anybody could ask for, that’s why I created an entire section for him and all about him, sounds crazy I know, but to me he deserves an entire blog, but I’m just sticking to a section for now. basically speaking shadow’s section have he exact same pages as my pages nothing different at all, so no need to write everything I wrote above in the owner section again here.

Tumblr or About section (still did not decide on what I want to call this section):

This section is created to have everything about the blog from credits to site map to everything in between, basically speaking I have created this section to show the viewers the purpose behind creating this blog and why I choose the name for the is blog etc, in full details that’s all.

That’s everything about the blog and its sections, pages and blog posts might take time to be added because I am not so free to go on this blog and update it every now and then, because I have got lots of other stuff to do with my life, so basically speaking I write down my thoughts and ideas into a notebook and then each and every time I have a free time to post a new blog post ill be posting it on this blog, same goes to blog pages, I honestly speaking i really don’t have time to add and update the pages each and every time I log into the mac and I sometimes become so busy to the point I cant even do anything and some other times not in the mood to update and I just want to log into mac to watch videos on youtube and that’s it, that’s why I you wont find me updating the sections or adding the sections that much and that’s also why you might find lots of broken links, so basically speaking the links will remain broken until I announce that all the sections are up and running and back to the blogging you might find a huge gap between a blog and another, but I usually don’t write much and i only write when I have a good idea to write about and I have a good post to write about it, and sometimes i don’t have time time and effort to write like I said, that’s why I don’t write in the first place, so yeah...... that’s why you might not find lots of blog posts, but I’ll try not to have a gigantic gap between each post and the other.

That’s all I really wanted to say and that’s all I really wanted to highlight before I start blogging.
