Fall apart & redefine by @ugh-yoongi. Idol KNJ x f! reader. Namjoon's music and musings give off sadboi vibes to me, and this gorgeous, angsty story captures all of that. Stunning.

For my krisnix enjoyers. Pls accept my ramblings below.

Good evening. It's me, Mx. Wild. First and foremost, I don't think anyone does, but I definitely do not think they are health, just to be exceedingly clear. Also these are my mostly canon compliant musings, I have other 'if this, then that' headcanons I'm not shoving in here bc nobody has the time for all of that at once. Now, moving on.

Look, Phoenix has bad taste. Kristoph is known to make horrible decisions. Match made in a hell equivalent. Kris wants to keep Phoenix close bc he's paranoid, Phoenix wants to keep Kris close bc he's a sketchy mf (imo).

I think Phoenix would know Kris wanted something out of the relationship. Some random guy he doesn't know stands up for him and tries to be besties with him all of a sudden? Kristoph could absolutely spin it that he knew the legendary Phoenix Wright would never and he feels bad bc it was his little brother who exposed the fake and is so appalled that someone would frame Phoenix and he wants to get to the bottom of it. That's even believable. I don't think that takes away from the clear indication that Kristoph wants something out of the relationship.

And Phoenix isn't stupid. Don't get me wrong, mans is dumb of ass, but he's incredibly intelligent. I think fairly early on if not immediately he would expect that the relationship (at this point budding friendship) is transactional to a certain degree. And honestly, he would get a lot out of it, too. Someone definitively believes he's innocent and is helping him through the worst years of his life. At some point Phoenix figures out the truth, but I don't see any universe where him knowing that is immediate. There would be too much going on. They have time.

From Kristoph's perspective, he needs to keep Phoenix close and figure out what he knows at all times. Kristoph isn't stupid either, just spiralling further and further out of control. Once Phoenix begins to suspect, it's a matter of time before Kristoph suspects that he suspects. Whole lot of suspecting going on. But until then they have time.

So while they have time, they 're both putting into this relationship they have. They're 'friends'. From the outside it wouldn't look like it, but they care, Phoenix might care a bit more genuinely on purpose, but Kris would also have to care somewhat after all that time. Even if it was on accident, if someone is a big enough part of your life, even if you hate them, you start to care.

I think the type of person Phoenix is, is someone that Kristoph has not seen a lot of. Phoenix and Klavier are pretty similar, I can see him drawing some parallels, but he's not really close to Klavier at this point. I think Phoenix's true personality would be pretty disarming for Kris, he wouldn't know what to do, how to act towards someone like Phoenix. With that loss of control and stability, I can find him accidentally very quickly coming to care to Phoenix, despite also hating him. As strange as it is to say, you can hate someone without disliking them, just like you can love someone without liking them.

So taking this time, we've come to a situation where they care for each other. Depending on how long they have, maybe they've come to love each other platonically, romantically, and/or otherwise. But at some point Phoenix begins to suspect. It would be complicated for him. He doesn't want to suspect his friend of being a forger or eventually a murderer. It's hard to say exactly when those two dots might connect or which came first, but at some point he realizes these things. So what happens then?

Phoenix has learned his poker face by now, but Kristoph knows him fairly well at this point too. Phoenix can probably keep the fact that he's suspicious under wraps for a while. Even though Kris knows him well enough to eventually see through, Phoenix knows Kristoph well enough to know how to hide it. Kristoph can never get out of Phoenix anything definitive. Nothing that could be used as an admission. At this point they both know what game they're playing and that the other is in just as deep.

At this point, it would hurt them both deeply if they had fallen into a committed relationship (qpr, romantic relationship, exclusive fwb, etc.). Phoenix has to have some PTSD about the Dahlia situation, and Kristoph doesn't strike me as the type to have thought much about that type of relationship before if at all. He's honestly way too paranoid imo. I think it would cut them both deeply either way, but having someone you've committed to sizing you up like that hits a little different in most cases. (I am aroace but i've been in relationships, I am working based off of my own experiences which are not universal.)

They're out of time now. Any day the other shoe could drop. Kristoph could take Phoenix out of the game once and for all. Phoenix could find the one piece of evidence he needs to pull the curtain crashing down on Kristoph. In the end, it's the latter, but until that day they're frozen, stuck pretending everything is ok, playing their roles the best way they know how, time is standing still around them.

And then a hard rubber sole meets the concrete. That is my broad interpretation of the relationship between smarmy bitch Kristoph and shady asshole Phoenix (affectionate in both cases). I could pick all my little headcanons about this, that, and the other thing to show you, but I'll do that later if y'all want. (pls ask me questions, I would love to explore answers to them)

. *ㅤaether tends to be very avoidant when it comes to holding hands in general, even if his palms are gloved. the gesture is strange to him, though he can understand why it would comfort most. it feels incredibly intimate. it's not something he's used to; he feels vulnerable when doing so. perhaps it's because it is a gesture with so many double meanings in his culture as a starborn. often, if his partner offers to hold hands, he will find a way to deflect or offer his arm for them to have instead. if it ever happens, it's because he took the initiative. silently, it's a way of saying he feels very at ease with whoever he's holding hands with. not that he'll ever admit it, though.

. *ㅤaether's handwriting and artistic skills are very subpar; he's not used to holding a pen and paper. thinking artistically and subjectively takes work for him, too. but sometimes, he will secretly dare to write a verse or two. the poems are never long, and you will often see thousands of languages bleeding together to the point that they don't make sense. he will strike down a lot of things and get super messy. it's just his way of trying hard to make sense of his feelings. he's so frustrated over the fact he can't express himself adequately.

. *ㅤpda is not something that he enjoys. he's private and stoic; he has a reputation and a façade to keep up. he has to be always in control, collected, and composed. so you won't see him verbally expressing affection or anything of the sort—at least, not in your traditional sense. he won't say, "see that person? i adore them with all of my heart", but instead, he will share, when questioned why he hangs around with x, "because i enjoy who they are".

. *ㅤabsolutely never, not in any of his verses. ignaroth (his maker / forger / master / father) is someone aether wants to avoid at all costs after a very abusive and chaotic past, so he would never want his partner to meet him or even come in a near radius near of him. he is horrified at the notion, and thinks that ignaroth would hurt them somehow. and ignaroth probably would.

. *ㅤsame reasoning as writing poems or songs, but aether is considerably better at drawing. though this would be done without any romantic intentions behind it, whenever he meets someone he's fond of (be it a partner or simply a friend), he'll draw their faces on his personal journal alongside some notes. he wants to be able to look back at those drawings and experience the memories once again. sad immortal hours issue, probably.

. *ㅤmarriage feels... strange to aether. it's a notion that eludes him and honestly feels a tad suffocating. it feels too mortal, too humane, and he doesn't think he is worthy of that tradition.

. *ㅤoh, the pain! i don't think aether is capable of saying "i love you" directly to anyone, ever. he will move mountains, give you the moon, and look at you like you're the most beautiful thing in the universe, yet he will never utter those three magical words. he thinks he's not able to feel love, that he wasn't made for it, that he's far too monstrous for such a soft, delicate, wonderful thing. he wishes he had a heart and blood to feel it in his veins; he wishes his skin was warm like a human's, but sadly, he is not. so he can't love... right? is what he tells himself.

quick and dirty (because i'm unable to do anything else apparently) unseen info!

because multiple ppl have asked me for a rundown and i need to make a realass lore post eventually, but for NOW here's a summary :> thank u zag for being the final nail in the coffin to motivate me to do this LOL

SO the unseen is like. let's say we're talking Magic Earth. they're a global crime syndicate that works in the shadows, there are lots of rumors about them existing but obvi nothing really confirmed — they're not like the yakuza where you kinda know a member when you see one. they're famously indistinguishable from regular people, and they've infiltrated pretty much every area of the societies they have a strong hold in (most nations that have global political sway except japan, where the yakuza are blocking them out.) and their membership, in western countries with major political influence, gets up into the like double digit percents of the population — there are a ton of unseen. they're fuckin everywhere. half the people on the street or in a restaurant could be unseen. but most of that large number is what i call 'listeners' or 'foot soldiers' — just regularass people who are paid to eavesdrop on conversations around them and report back to data handlers that sift through it for relevant info. 

when you go up a tier in the ladder, the membership number shrinks dramatically. like maybe a third of the size of the listeners, scattered in groups across the globe. that's the mid-tier, like, Gang Member Gang Members — drug runners, organizers, forgers, hitmen, extortionists, scammers, all that stuff. 

this is also the tier that collects street kids and trains them to be unseen soldiers — they're divided into cohorts and trained from like 8-10 yrs old to 17-18 yrs old. school is optional and limited to schools whose faculty are in the know/paid to look the other way. (seph's brother orion went and thrived all the way thru high school, seph chose to be tutored with her cohort instead) there are multiple cohorts, but i usually divide them in my head btwn 'killer cohort' (seph) and 'utility cohort' (orion) so they're trained to be good little worker bees and completely loyal to the unseen with no other attachments. trained to blend into society easily :> 

THEN THERE'S LIKE. THE ELITE. the lieutenants, handlers, small crews that the unseen will send on sensitive missions requiring a lot of skill. there are maybe like 700-800 across the globe i'd say.

lastly, there's the leader — amari fletch / the tower — and their inner circle of twelve people, which i call the sanctum. each of these people has a specialty that they are The Best in the unseen at, but they can double in for someone else if need be. they're essentially like an oceans eleven crime crew KSJDHIUHDK seph is the killer (+ the leader's right hand man), orion is the forger, @harerazor's muse altair is the doctor, etc etc! each of them is given a tarot card to use as their alias so that the rest of the unseen doesn't know who they are. more details about the sanctum's members (all available on this blog except seph, obvi) HERE!

My brain had a really odd idea pop up for a lewd story. The idea of a telepath who can tune in and hear one person's thoughts. The catch is that she listens to the thoughts of a woman in the process of submitting to her stud and becoming his property.

As embarrassing and shameful as it is to hear, the telepath gets distracted by the lewd thoughts and images popping up into her head. Her own desires growing as well as her lust, too distracted to close the mental link. So she keeps listening, the thoughts and actions of the other repeating like a mantra in the telepath's head.

I have no clue why it popped into my head, but I figured I'd share. I found it interesting, at least. The best guess I could have for why I thought of it was someone recommending me Anya and Yor Forger to add to my muse lists, which made me think of Yor doing that and accidentally making Anya want the same from them.

If anybody wants to see a story like this, feel free to write one or send me an ask of it. You can even make it about Anya and Yor if you want, even though they aren't officially on my muse list. Probably not including Loid, though, because I never found him that interesting.

For Les Miserables fans who are in to reading books in that in-depth way like we do with Brick Club (and also are capable of finishing a 1k+ page novel) have I got a book for you.

The Recognitions by William Gaddis is rocking my world right now. It is 956 pages and just packed with layers and references and puns and quotes from other sources. The main theme of the novel is forgery/counterfeiting, in any and all senses of the word. In (extremely) brief, it's about a man called Wyatt who, failing out of ministry school due to complex issues of faith, instead becomes a forger of paintings. Throughout the novel, Wyatt's story is interwoven with dozens of other characters who are also counterfeit or counterfeiters in some way.

It's a book that I'm certain quite a few brickclub people would absolutely love, because every page has at least one if not half a dozen different rabbit holes of research and/or symbolism to go down. Uncovering all the different layers of meaning the more research you do is so fun and gratifying.

Also Gaddis has an incredible ear for dialogue -- he almost never names who is speaking and yet it's always clear from the style of the voice (unless he deliberately makes it confusing). His musings on mundane aspects of life suddenly make them fascinating, and his attention to intense detail without getting bogged down is amazing.

I am genuinely surprised there's not a bigger fan base for this book on here.

Geto Suguru: Depressed, Cult, and Pre Toji

I have a preference for PTSD/Depressed Suguru. He's more of a stickler, struggling with his own demons while being functional in the JJK world. This version of Suguru is least likely to enter a romantic relationship and is extremely selective. Platonic relationships are preferred. Poor depressed Suguru craves connection but has trouble accepting any form of it. Expect him making art or spending time in nature to cope.

Charismatic Cult Leader Suguru is my second favorite. I do tons of research on psychology and would have plenty of fun using him. He is clearly racist against non sorceress, charismatic, selfish, controlling, domineering and helpful depending on his goals. Do you wants your crumbs of attention to feel like heaven? This is your guy. Cult Suguru is the most likely to put himself in a romantic situation for his own personal gain. He is the most extraverted version of himself.

Pre Toji Is a well mannered Suguru who prioritizes helping others. He plays by the rules and shares his opinion when he feels appropriate. He's a good boy and a happy boy. He deeply cares about culture and loves to read. Romantic relationships will have to be built from the ground up. Be prepared for observant nature. He's also terrible at basketball, he just doesn't know it yet.

Gojo Satoru:

More often then not my version is off bothering someone or making a joke. The more serious versions of Gojo will appear when discussed outside the rp or when appropriate. Gojo is arrogant, intelligent, powerful, and goofy.

Shoko Ieiri:

Shoko doesn't fight much in the series. She is JJK's designated healer as she is the only one who can expertly heal others with her reverse cursed technique. She is a heavy drinker and relapsed into being a heavy smoker as of recent. Despite cheating on her exam to become a doctor, she has vast knowledge on how the body is affected by the Jujutsu World.

Loid Forger:

Loid Forger, code name twilight, is a spy undercover as a family man. His goal in life is to provide a safer world/country for future generations. He's diligent, talented in hand-to-hand combat and firearms, charming, analytical, focused and a master of disguise. My version of Loid suffers from generalized anxiety that manifests through overplanning.

Tanjiro Kamado

I chose to rp him because he is the most emotionally healthy character i have seen in anime. He is incredibly empathetic, well mannered, good natured, and understanding. Tanjiro also displays loyalty, courage, and diligence. This best boy needs a trophy. His most notable traits is his sense of smell.

When writing with Pinwheel , I’d say just keep in mind that he’s very rude and might say some mean fucking shit, and don’t think you’ll manage to scare him even if your muse is. Incredibly powerful. This doesn’t mean that he’s more powerful than them, nor does it mean that I don’t respect your muse’s power… Pinwheel is just rancid like that, if he got scared easily he’d not last a day at this fucking nightmare of a park, or under Mammon’s command.

You are fully allowed to get angry at him, hurt him, even break him, if your muse has the power to do so. He doesn't care, not in the heat of the moment. An extension to that, I want to let you know that I'm not here to make you uncomfortable. If he is too mean, if what he says is too much, if you find him annoying or it's just not vibing with what you want out of an rp, then just let me know! I am an adult, I can dial it back.

If our muses are going to tussle I would suggest talking to me as we write it out though, to avoid anybody feeling like the fight isn't going in the direction they want it to.
