Exploring Genetic Heritage: A Comprehensive Guide to DNA Testing Kits
Tumblr media
In recent years, the surge of interest in personal heritage and ancestry has propelled DNA testing kits into the mainstream. These kits offer a fascinating journey into our genetic makeup, providing insights into ancestry, health predispositions, and distant familial connections. Kerala, known for its rich culture and diversity, embraces this trend as more people turn to Genetic Heritage DNA Testing Kits Kerala to uncover their ancestral stories and genetic identities.
What Are Genetic Heritage DNA Testing Kits?
Genetic heritage DNA testing kits are scientific tools that analyze an individual’s DNA to provide information about their ancestry, ethnicity, and potential genetic traits. These kits are easy to use, typically involving a saliva sample or a cheek swab that is sent to a laboratory for analysis.
The results can reveal details such as:
Ancestral Origins: Identifying regions and ethnic groups your ancestors belonged to.
Family Connections: Discovering relatives you may not know about.
Health Insights: Providing information about genetic predispositions to certain conditions.
Personal Traits: Understanding genetic influences on characteristics such as hair texture, eye colour, and more.
Why Genetic Heritage Matters
Understanding your genetic heritage is more than just an exploration of the past. It connects you to a broader human story, offering insights into migration patterns, cultural influences, and historical connections. For individuals in Kerala, where the historical mixing of cultures has created a rich tapestry of diversity, these kits can provide a profound understanding of personal and regional history.
Additionally, DNA testing can help individuals make informed decisions about their health and lifestyle, offering a deeper understanding of inherited conditions and traits.
The Popularity of DNA Testing Kits in Kerala
Kerala, often called "God’s Own Country," has a unique and diverse heritage influenced by centuries of trade, migration, and cultural amalgamation. The growing interest in Genetic Heritage DNA Testing Kits Kerala stems from:

Awareness of Genetic Health: With increasing knowledge about the role of genetics in health, these kits are also becoming popular for their health-related insights.
Interest in Family History: As families look to preserve their histories, DNA testing serves as a tool to enrich personal stories and genealogical records.
How DNA Testing Works
The process of using a DNA testing kit is straightforward:
Purchase a Kit: Choose a kit that matches your needs, whether it's ancestry-focused, health-focused, or a combination.
Collect Your Sample: Follow the instructions to collect a saliva or cheek swab sample.
Send the Sample: Mail your sample to the laboratory in the pre-paid envelope provided.
Receive Your Results: Results are typically delivered online, complete with detailed breakdowns of ancestry, genetic traits, and other insights.
Interpreting the Results
The results from a genetic heritage DNA testing kit can vary depending on the scope of the analysis. Common sections include:
Ethnicity Estimate: A percentage breakdown of your ancestral origins by region.
Migration Patterns: Tracing how your ancestors may have migrated over centuries.
Health Traits: Insights into potential genetic health risks or inherited conditions.
Genetic Matches: Connecting you with individuals who share parts of your DNA.
Ethical Considerations
While DNA testing opens a window into your genetic heritage, it’s important to consider the ethical implications. Questions about privacy, data security, and consent are essential. Before using a kit, ensure that the provider has clear policies on how your data is stored, shared, and used.
Applications of DNA Testing Kits in Kerala
Genealogical Research: For individuals and families looking to compile comprehensive family trees.
Cultural Preservation: Enhancing understanding of Kerala’s rich cultural history and diverse ancestry.
Health Awareness: Using genetic information to make proactive health decisions.

*sighs a deep sigh*
Racism does not come from genetic or evolutionary science.
At this point I don't expect anyone to listen. I mean, partly because it's me, but also because the online Left has collectively decided that Genetics Is The Enemy.
"Scientific" racism predates Charles Darwin and Gregor Mendel; the theory as we know it, with its "Aryan master-race" and so on, came from a guy called Joseph Arthur de Gobineau, who made it up out of materials he derived from historical linguistics. That's right, from the Humanities. Not the Sciences at all, let alone genetics.
Modern genetic science was what finally buried the last shred of Gobineau's scientific credibility. We have genetics to thank for the insight that race is a social construct.
I mean, not exclusively genetics; some anthropologists had been saying it for decades before. But genetics was what clinched it.
Here in the Pacific, in the mid-20th century, there was a complicated tangle of theories about where Pacific Island people's ancestors had come from. On the one hand, archaeology and linguistics and oral history seemed to indicate a series of successive migrations from a Melanesian hub out to more and more distant island groups. On the other, race science said that the Polynesians and Micronesians, who were relatively light-skinned and "noble" looking, couldn't be closely related to the dark-skinned Melanesians; they must have come by another route from India or somewhere.
Even here in New Zealand, the Moriori people of the Chatham Islands were theorized to be the remnant of a Melanesian ethnic group who had lived in mainland Aotearoa before being exterminated by the later-arriving Polynesian Māori.
(This theory was spread to a generation of New Zealand schoolchildren after it had been debunked, but that's another story. In case you're wondering, the first people to live here were, beyond any shadow of scientific doubt, Māori.)
Then DNA testing came along, and confirmed the story told by archaeology and linguistics and oral history, leaving the racial theory of separate origins on the scrapheap. Here as elsewhere, you got a clear, coherent story from your analysis if you weighted all "racial" factors at 0.
The Nazis never heard of DNA. I'm sure they would have been eager to use it to prove their theories if they had, but they would have been, to put it mildly, disappointed, and they would have silenced their genetic researchers with extreme prejudice before they could tell the world the truth.
But none of that is going to matter. Genetics Is The Enemy, regardless of whether it has actually done anything bad.

A Comedy of Non-mathematical Errors
Chapter 1
Tumblr media
No matter how he tries, he cannot get Oliver to make an introduction.
In fact, Michael had already left the King's Arms when Felix spotted Oliver.
“Rather liked his shirt, the pun's fucking hilarious, tell him I said so.” Felix said when he and Oliver went back to his place since Oliver was too hammered to leave.
“I’ll tell him.” Oliver promised and never did.
Despite Felix’s attempts to get Michael to speak to him, all that happens is that he learns his brother hates him.
Like hate hates him.
“He thinks you are a vapid cunt who doesn’t even know how to read.” Oliver puts it plainly after his last attempt before finals ends in abject failure.
Felix is hurt by that, especially because he had hoped everyone was exaggerating about it.
So hurt he doesn’t go out drinking with Farleigh, Annabel, and India.
So hurt he studies all night for his final exam.
It is strangely rewarding to earn something on his own. So rewarding he cannot stop himself from cornering Michael to show him.
“What makes you think I care about your fucking score?” Michael asks angrily and confused. “Daddy’s money bought you the school either way.”
“I studied; I worked my ass off to get this score. Just because I like fun and aren’t a maths genius like you and dad, it doesn’t mean I’m a dumb ass, Michael Cherwell Catton.” Felix has never bothered to defend himself like this, but he is about to change this nerd’s life.
“My name is Michael Gavey. Catton is your last name, genius.” Michael may hate him more when he tells him he is his brother, not just a brother, but twin brother.
“About that, Mrs. Gavey isn’t your real mum. Your middle name is Cherwell because mine is River, and you were kidnapped as a baby by our nanny.” Felix knows it sounds fucking ridiculous and has said long lost brother tell him so saying he should lay off the drugs.
“Stay away from me, Catton.” The blond warns, shoving him away, but Felix knows he can’t, not if they want to confirm or deny his suspicions.
“Let’s make a deal, we take a DNA test. If I’m wrong, we’ll never even breathe in the same room again, but if I’m right I’m taking you to Saltburn where you belong.” Felix offers his hand and spits on his palm as he presents his deal.
“Fine, I’ll do it, but you’re paying for this bullshit. Catton.” Michael squared up as if he were more than just the creepy nerd everyone knew him as.
“We have a deal.” Felix continues to offer his hand to make it binding, but his brother refuses to shake it.
Fucking unsanitary, he said.
Felix is so excited he can’t help but he calls his mother to tell her after he drags Michael to the nearest lab and gets tested.
Two days later everyone including the butler and poor dear Pamela is there waiting with bated breath as Michael opens the test results.
Michael Cherwell Gavey is Michael Cherwell Catton, the baby boy that was kidnapped ---and declared dead--- twenty years ago today.
Mama is crying, dad excited knowing the family is saved from ruin, Venetia is cautious, Farleigh pretends he didn’t torment him during the past year and Felix is so happy his hunch was right he completely forgot to even tell Oliver when he called him to cancel their plans for tonight this morning.
“You must come live with us; we must make up for the twenty years you spent away from us.” His mother held Michael’s hands as she kept the affection to a minimum, sensing he was uncomfortable with it.
Michael, still stunned, accepts only because no one can say no to mum.
“You are going to love Saltburn, Mickey.”
Tumblr media
Michael had the occasional fantasy of meeting his father as all fatherless children do, but he never thought he would end up being a completely different person related to Felix fucking Catton.
Even worse, his twin fucking brother.
There is no logical explanation for this. Sure, babies get kidnapped at an alarming rate, but how did he manage to escape the radar when his name is the same his parents gave him.
Sweet baby Jesus, did he overdo it with the beer last night?
He can’t recall having more than a pint, but a fucked-up drink from overdrinking made more sense than this.
And yet the tests didn’t lie, science much like math couldn’t lie.
“A friend of Felix’s is coming to stay with us, I think Felix said he was a friend of yours too.” Elspeth Catton is nice, if a bit snobbish, and after accepting her invitation to their estate, took him shopping for a proper wardrobe.
While she did like his math pun shirts, Elspeth said she detested ugliness and her children were not ugly, just a healthy amount of strange.
“He was, or never was a friend of mine. Oliver Quick licks too many boots for my tastes.” Michael admits and while he dreads having to see him again ---worse endure Felix and Farleigh’s vapidness all summer--- the maths genius has always wanted his pound of flesh.
Now that he has everything Felix has and some more, he was going to make Oliver fucking Quick regret tossing aside for Felix.
“I suppose his harsh life made him that way, Felix told me he lost his father recently and his situation at home is less than ideal.” The blonde woman said with pity, as if being middle class and having two parents and two sisters was such a burden.
The dead father he believes it, Michael had not spoken to him since he confronted him at the library, but there is no fucking way Oliver has known actual suffering.
“Perhaps the summer may have us all three be friends.” Or the worst of enemies.
Nothing would kill Oliver like having Felix replace him with Michael. After all what is a friend to your own fucking brother?

Genetic Fitness Testing Explained: A Comprehensive Guide to Enhancing Your Athletic Performance
Tumblr media
In the ever-evolving world of fitness and health, one innovative trend has been making waves: genetic fitness testing. In Kerala, a state renowned for its rich heritage in Ayurveda and holistic wellness, genetic fitness testing is emerging as a cutting-edge solution for personalised fitness and health strategies. This blog explores what genetic fitness testing is, how it works, and its potential benefits for fitness enthusiasts in Kerala.
What is Genetic Fitness Testing?
Genetic fitness testing is a scientific method of analysing your DNA to understand your genetic predispositions related to fitness, nutrition, and overall health. This involves identifying specific genetic markers that influence factors like muscle composition, endurance, metabolism, and recovery. Understanding these genetic traits allows you to design a fitness and wellness plan tailored to your unique genetic profile.
Why is Genetic Fitness Testing Gaining Popularity in Kerala?
Kerala is often referred to as the health and wellness hub of India. Known for its focus on traditional health practices like yoga and Ayurveda, the state is also embracing modern scientific advancements like genetic fitness testing. The integration of these modern techniques with traditional wellness methods offers a comprehensive approach to health optimization.
Factors contributing to the popularity of genetic fitness testing in Kerala include:
Increased health awareness: People are more conscious of the importance of personalized fitness strategies.
Technological advancements: With access to state-of-the-art genetic testing facilities, the process is becoming more accessible.
Professional guidance: Many fitness trainers and health consultants in Kerala are incorporating genetic insights into their programs.
How Does Genetic Fitness Testing Work?
The process of genetic fitness testing typically involves the following steps:
1. DNA Collection
A simple, non-invasive sample collection—often a saliva swab or cheek swab—is conducted. This sample contains your genetic information, which is analyzed in a laboratory.
2. Genetic Analysis
Advanced genetic sequencing techniques are used to study your DNA. The analysis focuses on genes associated with fitness-related traits, such as:
Endurance: Understanding your capacity for aerobic exercises.
Strength: Insights into muscle composition and power.
Recovery: How quickly your body recovers after exercise.
Nutritional needs: Identifying dietary requirements for optimal performance.
3. Personalized Report
The results are presented in a detailed report, outlining your genetic predispositions and recommendations for fitness, diet, and lifestyle adjustments.
4. Implementation
With the guidance of fitness experts and nutritionists, you can create a tailored fitness plan that aligns with your genetic profile.
Benefits of Genetic Fitness Testing
1. Personalized Fitness Plans
Generic fitness plans often fail to deliver optimal results. Genetic testing allows you to design a workout routine and diet plan tailored to your unique genetic makeup.
2. Enhanced Athletic Performance
Understanding your strengths and limitations enables you to focus on exercises that maximize your performance. For example, if you have a genetic predisposition for endurance, you can emphasize aerobic activities like running or cycling.
3. Injury Prevention
Certain genetic traits can indicate a higher risk of injuries. By identifying these risks, you can take proactive steps to avoid them, such as modifying training intensity or incorporating specific stretches and exercises.
4. Optimized Nutrition
Genetic fitness testing reveals how your body processes nutrients, enabling you to make informed dietary choices that support your fitness goals. For instance, you may discover a need for higher protein intake or specific vitamins.
5. Efficient Recovery
Recovery is a critical component of any fitness regime. Insights into your genetic recovery rate can help you schedule rest days and recovery activities effectively, ensuring sustained progress.
Genetic Fitness Testing in Kerala: A Local Perspective
Kerala offers a unique environment for implementing genetic fitness strategies. With its abundant natural resources, health-conscious population, and focus on wellness, the state provides an ideal backdrop for personalized fitness initiatives.
Integration with Traditional Practices
One of the most exciting aspects of genetic fitness testing in Kerala is its potential integration with traditional practices like Ayurveda and yoga. For instance, if your genetic profile highlights a predisposition to inflammation, you can incorporate Ayurvedic anti-inflammatory remedies into your diet and lifestyle.
Expert Guidance
Kerala is home to a growing community of fitness professionals and wellness consultants trained in genetic-based fitness strategies. These experts can guide you in making the most of your genetic fitness report.
Accessibility
Genetic fitness testing services are becoming increasingly available in Kerala, thanks to advancements in technology and a growing demand for personalized health solutions.
Who Can Benefit from Genetic Fitness Testing?
Genetic fitness testing is suitable for a wide range of individuals, including:
Athletes: Optimize training routines and improve performance.
Fitness enthusiasts: Create personalized fitness and nutrition plans.
Health-conscious individuals: Gain insights into overall well-being.
People recovering from injuries: Develop strategies for safe and effective rehabilitation.
Final Thoughts
As the fitness and wellness industry evolves, genetic fitness testing in Kerala represents a promising step toward personalized health solutions. By understanding your genetic blueprint, you can unlock your full potential, prevent injuries, and achieve your fitness goals more effectively.
Whether you're an athlete aiming to enhance your performance or someone looking to adopt a healthier lifestyle, genetic fitness testing offers invaluable insights. With Kerala's emphasis on holistic health and access to modern technology, there’s no better place to embark on this journey to a healthier, more optimized you.

The Pashtuns, now Afghanistan’s majority ethnic group and heavily involved in the establishment of the Taliban, sometimes call themselves "Bani Israel" and have a tribal legend which states that a Jewish group settled near the modern town of Herat and later converted to Islam after their leader met with Prophet Mohammed. Jewish Virtual Library writes that some Pashtuns have Jewish sounding names such as Asheri, Binyamin and Naftali, and that they practice Jewish customs such as marrying under a chuppah, lighting candles on fridays and circumcising their sons eight days after birth. This could also be explained through the Pashtuns’ connection with Jewish warriors, merchants, and administrative officers who traveled and settled on the Silk Road and left their influence on the local residents — but it is certainly intriguing.
The Assyrians conquered the kingdom of Israel some 2,730 years ago, scattering 10 of the 12 tribes into exile, supposedly beyond the mythical Sambation river. The two remaining tribes, Benjamin and Judah, became the modern-day Jewish people, and the search for the lost tribes has continued ever since. Some have claimed to have found traces of them in modern day China, Burma, Nigeria, India, Central Asia and Ethiopia. But it is believed that the tribes were dispersed in an area around modern-day northern Iraq and Afghanistan, which makes the Pashtun connection the strongest.
However, an Israeli government-funded DNA test found no genetic link between Jews and Pashtuns. They seem to share a greater affinity with Central Asian populations such as Tajiks or Turkmens, as well as with some Iranian and Caucasian groups. Whatever might be true, most Pashtuns today are strict Muslims with their own language and culture and have no interest in reconnecting with these assumed Jewish roots.

De Ja Vu?
I’m going to put this out there in the universe. It’s a Lance Stroll post and I apologise now for the amount of other people I am going to have to name to make my point.
Everyone seems to think that Lance’s problems this season, start and end with Lance. Easy assumption to make when his season reads, missed pre season testing to have surgery, to throwing his steering wheel out his car, via an huge impact with the wall in Singapore.
But what if there is something going on, that we can’t see? And what is the sentence that brought me to this idea?
“Lando Norris can’t win a race in a car built for him”
Bet you didn’t see that line coming?
Let me explain. For a Lando fan this is one of those eye rolling statements you hear twice a week, more if his teammate has done well. The assumption is McLaren have been building a car to suit him for the last 5 years.
NOT TRUE. When Lando joined the team the McLaren was very much built to suit one Fernando Alonso. The weird characteristics of the car that you hear everyone talk about were enshrined into the McLaren concept for old eyebrows himself.
Now keep in mind that during this time at the team major aspects of the car and team were overseen by a Martin Whitmarsh.
Lando has driven through the quirky nature of the car for the last 5 years. Lando who spent 2 years with Fernando at the team, running his sim setups and was his teammate in Daytona whilst he was still a teenager.
Strange though that Stoffel struggled with it after being impressive in junior categories, to leave McLaren and be Formula E Champion.
Carlos could drive the car and he is the only one who really confuses me how he fits in this argument. Maybe it’s a Spanish thing 🤷‍♀️
Then along came Daniel and it was bad. Daniel could see all the strange quirks of the car, but the more they seemed to take them off, the worse the car got. Daniel could never gel with them.
So here McLaren are with a car that needs changing from the DNA up but have gone from nearly bankrupt to wealthy, but now operating under a token system and then a cost cap. You can’t just start the car from scratch, you have to rework the car bit by bit.
Oscar has faired better with the car but again, who has he just spent a year with, running sims of his setup? Yeap, Fernando.
Lando and Oscar still tell you there are weaknesses in the car and it still doesn’t really suit them, but they are paid to drive what they are given.
So then we look to Silverstone and the arrival of Martin Whitmarsh and Fernando Alonso to the team. Suddenly Lance is struggling to extract performance from the car. Something it has to be said he has never really struggled with before for any team. He podiumed with Williams, he put a Force India on pole. Almost overnight Lance seems to have a car he can’t drive. A car Fernando did most of the testing of in Bahrain.
Is it possible history is repeating itself and Aston are building a car to suit Mr Alonso at the expense of the team’s other driver? The only ones who ever got genuine performance out of the McLaren of the last 8 years have somehow been connected to Fernando.
Maybe Lance is just driving a car that bares no resemblance to the car that has been developed over the last 4 years.
Personally I would love to see Seb test it and see how he handles it now. He drove the old Aston and is at Fernando’s level, surely that will give the team a reading on Lance.
In the meantime I refuse to ridicule Lance and his results. As a McLaren fan I can’t help but feel I’ve seen this story before.

BREAKING: TWO “Female Boxers” Set To Compete At Paris 2024 Were Previously Disqualified From Women’s World Championship For Having “XY Chromosomes”
By
Anna Slatz
July 27, 2024
Two athletes competing at the Paris Olympics as “women” were previously disqualified from a women’s world championship for having “XY chromosomes.” Imane Khelif of Algeria and Lin Yu-Ting of Taiwan are scheduled to compete in Olympic women’s boxing next week despite past questions surrounding their biological sex.
The Women’s World Boxing Championships took place in March of 2023 and was hosted in New Delhi, India. A total of 324 boxers from 64 nations competed during the 10-day trial, marking the largest participation in any iteration of the championship ever recorded.
However, the grand event was marred by controversy after Umar Kremlev, president of the International Boxing Association (IBA), announced the disqualification of multiple boxers from the championship.
Kremlev said that IBA executives had met towards the championship’s grand finale to discuss “fairness among athletes and professionalism,” after concerns were raised about the biological sex of some participants. He added that after “a series of DNA-tests,” the IBA “uncovered athletes who were trying to fool their colleagues and pretend to be women.”
Speaking to TASS News, Kremlev claimed that the tests had proven the athletes in question “had XY chromosomes and were thus excluded from the sports events.”
Among the disqualified was Imane Khelif, an Algerian boxer who had been set to challenge Yang Liu of China in the welterweight final. Khelif was removed from the gold medal fight, and Thailand’s Janjaem Suwannapheng, who had lost to Khelif in the semi-finals, was allowed to proceed to fight Yang instead.
In a public statement, the IBA wrote that “a boxer from Algeria, Imane Khelif, was excluded from the IBA World Boxing Championships due to the failure to meet the IBA eligibility criteria.” But the Algerian Olympic Committee denied the IBA’s claims, attributing Khelif’s disqualification to a “conspiracy” to prevent Algeria from having a gold medal in boxing.
While they vaguely alluded to Khelif being struck for “medical reasons” surrounding high testosterone levels, they added that they would be supporting Khelif’s journey to the 2024 Paris Olympics regardless.
But following the controversial disqualification, a female boxer came forward to discuss her experience fighting Khelif in the ring at the championship.
“When I fought with her I felt very out of my depth,” Mexican boxer Brianda Tamara wrote on X. “Her blows hurt me a lot, I don’t think I had ever felt like that in my 13 years as a boxer, nor in my sparring with men. Thank God that day I got out of the ring safely, and it’s good that they finally realized,” Tamara said.
A second boxer was similarly disqualified by the IBA at the event, Taiwan’s Lin Yu-Ting, who was also stripped of a bronze medal.
Lin had previously won 5 gold medals in women’s boxing tournaments.

Lin Yu-Ting winning gold and a $100,000 prize at a 2022 women’s boxing championship.
Despite having faced the disqualification just last year, both boxers will be competing in Paris as female boxers.
Khelif is scheduled to fight Italy’s Angela Carini on August 1, while Lin Yu-Ting is set to be matched the next day.
While neither have stated they identify as transgender, it is suspected that both are impacted by a Difference of Sexual Development (DSD), a category of medical conditions encompassing any problem noted at birth where the genitalia are atypical in relation to the chromosomes or gonads.
DSDs in elite sports first came to public attention during the meteoric rise of South African runner Caster Semenya. Semenya’s rapid improvements in performance beginning in 2009 initially triggered suspicions of drug use, and World Athletics (then called the IAAF) was internationally denounced for requesting Semenya take a test to ascertain his biological sex.
Most women, including elite female athletes, have natural testosterone levels of 0.12 to 1.79 nanomoles per liter (nmol/L), but Semenya has XY chromosomes and male gonads producing a normal level of testosterone for a male. In 2011, Semenya was measured as having 15.6 and 29.3 nmol/L. Years later, a decision in the Court of Arbitration for Sport revealed that Semenya has a DSD where the normal male sexual development fails in utero, resulting in external genitals that appear to be a vagina at birth, but was in fact an underdeveloped penis.
Speaking to Reduxx, a representative with the Independent Council on Women’s Sports (ICONS) condemned the confusion that had emerged surrounding the sex of competitors due to the International Olympic Committee’s 2000 decision to end sex-verification screening.
“The IOC’s decision to end sex-verification screening in 2000 has caused distrust and confusion in women’s sports ever since,” ICONS co-founder Marshi Smith said. “Its 2021 decision to offload the responsibility for international eligibility criteria to individual sporting bodies has resulted in varied standards and widespread chaos among athletes, coaches, officials, and the public.”
Smith notes that a new boxing qualification system was implemented for the 2024 Olympics in which an ad-hoc unit was created by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Executive Board to organize the boxing competitions for Paris 2024.
This new unit was set up after the International Boxing Association (IBA), which had previously disqualified Khelif and Lin from women’s championships, was suspended by the IOC due to concerns it was receiving funding from Russia.
In the FAQ for the Paris 2024 Boxing Unit, no gender eligibility guidelines are specified, something Smith suggests likely indicates that individual nations were given a tremendous amount of power to deem their own athletes eligible.
“In boxing, the recent contentious split between the IBA and the IOC has now placed Olympic eligibility power into the hands of national boxing federations, allowing countries like Algeria and Taiwan to set their own standards and continue placing male boxers in the ring with female athletes in combat for women’s Olympic medals,” Smith explains.
“The physical abuse of women on an Olympic stage eliminates the integrity of all Olympic events and risks lifelong injury or even death for female athletes. This deceit cannot be allowed to continue.”

I find it really interesting that a lot of people who are against the idea of being diaracial/diaethnic is that like. There are people out there who are a certain race or ethnicity that don't look like they are. Like, I don't have the post anymore, but I remember this one person making a post about how they're Native American, but everyone assumed they weren't because they had light skin. The same kind of thing happened to a youtuber whose mom is from India, nobody believed that he's Indian because he has light skin. So it's like, you can't just look at someone and know for a fact that they are what they say they are, and I sincerely doubt anybody worth talking to is going to demand that you pull out a DNA test for proof. So like, all the people that are against diaracial/diaethnic identities being like "well you don't look a certain way so you can't possibly be what you say you are" are kind of just being racist.
All very good points anon; bioessentialist bigots are often obsessed with DNA and chromosomes so that they can know what we really are and put us in easily-eradicated boxes accordingly. Unfortunately for all bigots, we are, and always will be, extremely variable.
Thanks for the ask!

Now that I showed you Kingdom / empire of Israel.. I can show you finally THIS SHIP and THIS art that I'm so so proud of...
so buckle up for the wildest ride...
Israel x Ethiopia lore!! Shortly explained, but it’s still long sorry
My interest in this ship has started way back, actually since high school, when we did a work about king Solomon and Queen of Sheba. I’ve learned so much new information that it kept me intrigued about it, and slowly getting more and more information to the point I just knew I’m gonna do it lol.
Now, Israel and Ethiopia case is a special one, because unlike many nations, both Ethiopia and Israel mention in their scripts and culture each other, specifically the Queen of Sheba and king of Israel affair. And both of them are really proud of it, of course biased (and you’ll see how biased it’s gonna get lol), but good biased. It is not dropping-the-other-low kind of biased.
Okay, let’s see where it all started.
Idk the dates (I’m bad with dates and usually don’t agree with them bc long story) but long time ago, there was the kingdom of Israel, ruled by Solomon at that time. Now, let me give you the setting. Israel at that point thrived, and people all around the east from china to Ethiopia heard of Daniel. Of course, some nations couldn’t care less but heard is enough for some to be considered as success lol.
Now, everyone I mentioned here “used” Daniel’s wisdom at some point; Egypt made Israel her best ally, Assyria made Israel his soldier (for a short period of time but he did), and Ethiopia… no spoilers yet. BUT YOU WILL LOVE THEY WAY SHE USED IT.
(Side note; this is also huge evidence that israel was always considered the smart nation around. I believe there was smarter nations but you know, it’s like more of the personality. Omg I sound so arrogant rn but let me cook).
And of course, people talk. And glorify things. Tigist already knew Daniel, but when the story of a Rhino reached her ear it was already a unicorn. Daniel was described as the smartest man alive, most rich, sexiest guy alive and what not lol. Tigist already fell in love before seeing. She thought she must see if it’s true. It was too good to be true to her ears. And, if it’s true; why can’t she have some of that to herself??
She packed the best gems and camels she has (and a lot of them) and headed Jerusalem.
She saw the most beautiful buildings and temple and what not, she tested Dani’s wisdom. And it all came up as true. She said the famous quote; “it is all 1000x better than the stories about you”.
Daniel knew nations don’t come to visit him just to visit him; he asked her. “Ma’am, what is your wish?”
Now, before I continue the story, let me tell you. Daniel was WEAK for her. Damn she was pretty. And hawt. He was ready to give her things she wanted. He assumed; permit to free pass through his place to India. Makes sense? He gave that to her. Why not. She was happy with that.
But here the thing!!! She wanted HIS SPERM. she wanted his dna. She wanted to have s3x with him so she could have some of this!! And I am not making that up!!! Both Israeli and Ethiopian scripts confirm that, and.. apparently it wasn’t just once !!
In the Ethiopian culture, there’s a whole bloodline of jews, apparently they have their own status because according to their belief, since they are around the Ethiopian culture could thrive !
Many many years later…
The story of Jews in Ethiopia is for another post, but when they came back to Israel Sudan was about to accuse Daniel of kidnapping Ethiopian people. But, before it was “confirmed”, Daniel went to Tigist and gave her everything she wanted!! Education, free tech, literally anything that a first world country can give to a third world country enough to thrive, at least a little more!! He gave her FOR FREE some of his inventions that later made Israel world leader in it, when it comes to water and water tech. He gave her leading tech on agriculture which israel is also leading in! He gave her free schools and to this day Israelis go and volunteer in Ethiopian schools! He didn't wanna feel guilty much for doing stuff under Ethiopian gov you know so he did what I feel like a bribe but you know idm he brought some jews home and the Ethiopia got a lot of good stuff so what can I saaay
Now, as not true as it might seem, Daniel sees Tigits as a poor lady who is in a constant need of charity. Tigist doesn’t seem to mind much tbh? She appreciates the help. She’s one of the only African countries who wants Israel part of Africa culturally ! and constantly asking about Daniel when he’s absent lol… she’s still hot for his ass I can tell u that
I think their relationship nowadays is mostly beneficial… both not seems to be bothered my that… let Dani do the do without feelings.. which is totally against his morals but lets not get into that shall we
Fun fact: in eilat there’s two hotels one next to another, Queen of Sheba and king Solomon, as a tribute to them
btw,
Tigist belong to me, too
