Dante nudged his hip against yours, bringing your focus away from the Ferris wheel. "Want one?" 

You followed his eyes to the high striker and laughed. "The hammer game? Sure, if you want me to look like an idiot."

"Not the hammer dumbass," Dante said, shaking his head while laughing softly. "One of the prizes?"

You looked up at him with a teasing smile. "You wanna win me something? I get something from the great Dante. I must be in luck."

"Want on or not?"

"Hell yes."

Blunt Force Object

“Spread?” She asks, dry and disconnected. He nods and she looks at him, still dry and now frowning. “Are you making some kind of sex joke because if you are-” No. He’s learned his goddamn lesson enough after the ‘I like it rough’ thing. “It’s a jail food,” he tells her. He turns slightly between her and the kitchen, hoping it’ll prompt her to walk out of her doorway. But it doesn’t. She’s still standing there. Unconvinced. “It’s fun.” She blinks. “You want me to make…jail food with you?” She asks and he nods once again. “Yeah. Everything we get from donations and aid is better quality but it’s the same basic shit we’d get in commissary. Figured we could make a pretty good spread out of it,” he says with a shrug. “It’s good. I promise.” Ok. Maybe he can’t promise that it’ll be good. Especially since she’s never had spread, will have nothing to compare it to, and lacks any nostalgia for it like he has. But Kat’s been in her room all day. And maybe this could get her out. Cooking something, something they make together as a team, will be good for her. Plus, she needs to get something in her stomach. Maybe she’ll remember she isn’t alone. Because a lot of dinners are spent fending for themselves and he knows she’s not used to it still. She feels alone. He knows she feels alone. But they’re a team and she can talk to him. He needs her to know that.

Summery: Kat won't leave her room and Dante has an idea.

DmC 2 designs for the main 3

i've made so many of these designs lol but i really love this game and i need a way to fill the empty space in my soul that the lack of a sequel has left 😭

Dante- I gave him a red jacket but made it cropped to better differentiate him from og dante and to give him a different silhouette. I wanted his outfit to look more diy and gritty, fitting in with the state of Limbo city at this point.

Kat- I wanted to keep the basic vibe of her original design so i kept a hood and put a vine motif going up the sleeves to mimic her henna in-game. I gave her longer, baggier pants with pockets to hold ingredients for spells.

Vergil- His outfit hasn't changed much because he's been in Hell for the time being. His jacket looks more tattered and worn and he himself looks sickly given the wound to his heart. I gave him more practical boots and referenced this unused DMC5 vergil concept.

Can you please write a dmc multiverse thing where reader is in og dmc world and is friends with Dante? (He has a crush on reader), then one day reboot dante suddenly appears in the og dmc world and meets og Dante and reader. As time goes on and reboot dante is getting help from the og team on how to get back to his universe, he falls for reader, og Dante senses this and gets really jealous and eventually both Dantes become competitive over readers attention and affection? Reader doesn't really know who to pick since they like both of them.

Oh, absolutely! Just one note, this is not inherently polygamy, just a sort of love triangle. One would note that I do not write polygamy.

Multiverse madness headcannons (DMC5!Dante + Reboot!Dante x Reader)

-Somehow, Reboot!Dante (we'll call him Donte) got transported from his world into the real Dante's world.

-He was a little disoriented, but managed to piece together that this world was both pretty much the same and completely different from what he was used to.

-Donte walked around for a bit before running into this weird looking old man and a chick, and since they were the only approachable people around, decided to ask for information.

-Dante felt like something was really familiar about this guy, and after further inquiry, concluded that Donte was him from another world.

-You managed to absorb this information and realized that Dante and Donte were the same person, from alternate realities.

-Naturally, Donte's first inquiry was how to get home, but since none of you knew the answer, he was forced to stick around for a while. He ended up befriending you, somehow, and as time went on, became a little more inclined to stay.

-Dante noticed how unusually friendly and happy Donte was whenever he was near you, and felt the flames of demonic jealousy brewing in his chest.

-Meanwhile, you were up late at night pondering the nature of your existence as you struggled to choose between two dashing half demons you really liked.

-Who you pick in the end is unknown as of now; what is certain is that whoever gets turned down will have irreparable damage done to his heart.

I'm gonna say it. I've warmed up to the DmC reboot.

The design and presentation of the game is absolutely stellar, and while the story is "bad", there is definitely a lot to love about it!

There was this one scene where Vergil explains their origins to Dante in an old playground and the cinematography changes angle to highlight pieces of graffiti that artistically illustrate what he was talking about. It's absolutely beautiful!

The characters are fun when you disconnect them from their mainline counterparts. Plus if your a sucker for the "protagonists get labelled as criminals by the media" trope (which I am), DmC's got you covered.

Even though DmC's Dante pales in comparison to the original, he is still a fun, cheesy character that you can enjoy regardless. Watching him talk shit is more of a "God he's so stupid and cringe" experience, which honestly adds charm to him!

AND ALSO!! if you wanted (mostly) wholesome Dante and Vergil being bros content, there's a lot in DmC!! They're allies for like, 95% of the game and don't have much (or any) bad blood between them!!
