I did it!!!!
Before and after of our 1950's inspired kitchen.
Honestly, the hardest part of this was the cleanup. I had to scrape some wayward paint off of the floor.
Goodbye 90's-00's styled cupboards. I wish I could have done more, but this is an upgrade on a budget. (Cost ~$200).
Bonus pic: The other angle with the atomic curtains and the dining table.
@overclocks. I know you wanted to see the results!

I love how my living room turned out. It looks so cozy and dreamy!
𔓘 changed my curtains to all white (need to add a few more so they don't look so stretched). I ahad to drill new holes on the cemented wall to get the proper height for the new curtain rods. These used to be green blinds but they're so hard to clean especially since I have 5 cats and there's always furs around!
𔓘 changed my sofa blanket to this light colored green instead of brown (i love it sm). Got it for 200+ php only and it's so soft!
𔓘 also changed my dining table and chair, though they're a bit pricy— I liked how it added a touch of uniquness to my place!
Overall, I'm satisfied. Still need to re-grout my tiles and repaint the other parts of my house soon. One change at a time 𓍢ִ໋🌷͙֒

Umm, going to start documenting my apartment fix up. Little story by Kehlani playing as I remove these long ass staples from fuck ass past tenants cause why? And then ppl just painted over it. But maybe just cause I respect rental properties more than I should. Cause actually who cares.
Documenting so that I can look back on my efforts. And show myself I can do things. Home has always been a strange thing to me do to moving around a lot and bouts of homelessness as a kid.
Why are they so fucking long though. A bitch to take out of the wall. And it’s leaving holes that I have to patch. But i love patching walls I feel like a real DIY enby.

Main bedroom update 2; Parquet Hibernation Tactics
Check out my post on what I've decided to do with the old parquet floor in my house!
Step into my home, where every room tells a story – a story of well, a parquet floor that’s seen better days. Yet another not-so-picture-perfect side of my home improvement saga. Let’s talk about this parquet floor – the one that, at first glance, might seem like a symphony of squares and brightness. But, and this is a big ‘but,’ I’ve got a confession to make. Brace yourself because, despite the…
