I'm wanted so bad to see a interaction between umbrella Ben and Five, if he didnt die or they find a way to bring him back to life.

Umbrella Ben was way more nicer and heroic than sparrow Ben, but he also have the sassy and know it all attitude it would be fun to watch him hanging out with the other siblings besides Klaus.

Apologies if this is an odd reply because I am a little slow at reading between the lines. You didn’t technically ask a question, but I’m about to give you a stupid long answer. BUT. Friend, absolutely same. I wanted to see Ben and Five finally talk. As I was thinking about this, I wondered how Umbrella Ben might have come back to life had the plot demanded it (which it should have). The result was 2 possible scenarios:

1. Klaus saves Ben by dying and searching the afterlife for him. And somehow bringing him back because why not.

2. Five learns to reveals time for individual objects and parts of people (kind of like how Sera from the Webtoon Unordinary uses her power). In this way, he reverses Ben’s disappearance—not brining him back to life but just…undoing a second death.

One of these is less likely than the others (I’ll let you decide which one), but let’s roll with it.

Anyway. Because I can’t seem to turn off my inner narrative, here is the interaction I wanted with Ben and Five. In my head, it would have taken place after the end of season 2 while still in the 60s.

When Five sees Ben, it’s unexpected. Klaus is cheering; Victor is crying; Allison’s trembling hands are covering her mouth; Luther and Diego are wrapping their arms around their brother.

But Five just stands there.

He stands there until he makes eye contact with the brother he never saved. Ben gently peels the others off of him and moves towards him.

It’s not until they touch that Five realizes he’s real.

Suddenly Ben’s arms are folding him into a hug and any air Five still had in his lungs gets squeezed out of him even though Ben isn’t hugging that tightly. He doesn’t push him away, but he also can’t seem to move.

Because this is the brother he couldn’t save. The sibling he was never there for. It’s different with Ben than with the others because Ben never made it to 17. Because even though Five went back in time and saved everyone else, he couldn’t save him and he hates that if the choice came between saving most of his family versus one of them, he’d choose the former. He hates it he hates it he hates that about himself.

His eyes start stinging now and so he squeezes them shut and lets himself be hugged. Everyone else in his family has hardly even touched Five let alone hugged him—probably due to their preference for life—but this is Ben and before he knows it, Five’s arms are wrapped tight around him too.

Five can’t remember the last time he hugged somebody aside from Delores.

Finally catching his breath again, Five starts to let go, and he and Ben step apart. Five gives Ben a brief smile before sighing and turning serious.

“Next time our idiot brother feels inclined to lie about you or anything else again, I trust you to bludgeon him with your fists.”

While Klaus shouts an objection, Ben laughs and the sound is like music. Unlike how Five remembers it, his laugh is loud and carefree. Good.

“And exactly which idiot brother are you referring to?” asks Luther.

Five sighs. “Right. I forgot I had more than one.”

- i Do Not like the depictions of walter where he's, like, a genuinely sick in the head and fucked up individual. it just seems grossly extreme to me. different strokes for different folks though

that being said, i do agree he's definitely not well. i think he has bpd,, mostly out of me projecting and what not but also because i think it just makes sense. growing up distanced from the people around you and not receiving proper emotional support does that to a mf

he's got a facade up damn near all the time. inoffensive, orderly, agreeable, prim and proper. not to manipulate the people around him for his own gain, but because he knows thats what other people want. anything less and he'd be a bad butler, and therefore, effectively useless

- not really a hc since this is just kind of a fact? but ill say it here because its what draws me to him the most: he's afraid of being rendered useless.

- he's not an emotional guy. i dont think he feels much most days. all his smiles are about as fake as the teeth he would've needed if he went on for much longer. i think he's been somewhat resigned to his fate for a while now, but that doesn't stop him from thinking what if every now and again

- he certainly is a jealous little bitch but he keeps that inside. if he ever got therapy he'd need like explosives and shit to properly get all of that pent up emotion out

- ^^ i think thats why he gets a bit sadistic when fighting others. its just a way to vent all that frustration

- i dont think he had many plans, if any at all, to turn on hellsing. he definitely had thoughts, but i think it all caught up to him one night and he just decided it was too much, and that he had nothing to lose that he wouldn't lose later on. either he lives an unremarkable existence in the shadow of alucard or tries to surpass that (he didnt) (he failed) (lol). ties into my bpd headcanon with impulsivity being a symptom

- he would've loved to have been a father at some point but has since abandoned it for many reasons. seras is about the closest he has to a daughter and the most he's opened up to someone emotionally, but he still keeps himself at an arms length.

- i like to think he grew out his hair at some point during the 80s for a mullet but liked having it long

- i also think he'd be big on rock when he was younger!! he tried it at first just because it was popular, but he found that it really spoke to him. i don't think he's much of a music guy outside of that though. maybe some jazz

- he is an incredibly lonely individual, as is expected of a butler. he can handle flirting somewhat but the idea of someone being genuinely attracted to him for who he is turns him into a sappy old-fashioned loverboy

- former christian. he still thinks there is a god (evidenced by vampires obviously) but that god has not been very kind to him to lead him down this path so why gaf

- very meticulous about keeping up his appearance. not a serious headcanon but its funny to imagine him up all night plucking each and every grey hair out of his head. if not just to look as presentable as possible, then it also helps his confidence. its nice to know that his apprarance is one of the few things he has control over

- speaking of which ??? i think hes confident.. but only in the persona he's made for himself yk. not in the real him who's body could fail him anytime. not the human part of him.

- not good at taking compliments but loves them. praise him too much and too often and you'd finally see him emotional i think. really, letting this man know that his worth is not defined by how useful he is to others would fix him

- i think his monocle is both for appearances and because he's got a bum eye, trying to hide it in a way that fits

- poor guy doesn't sleep well most nights. his morning tea, if he's able to have any, is highly caffeinated (i dont think he'd be that much of a coffee guy- not to mention the whole tea drinking thing is befitting of a british butler, so he'd roll with it)

- i'm on my period... so.... like.... i'm going to get a little freaky on main rn (feel free to skip over this, its nothing explicit) but i get So Sick of people seeing him as the daddy dom archetype. like yea older man ouuuu i have daddy issues oauauuu choke me whatever but i'm more inclined to think that he'd actually too insecure about his ability to please his partner to be that way. atleast, not without some sort of affirmation.

Thank you so much for your interest i am still working on the AU but here are some basic information i kind of sketched out about the Iscariot (i also love yumikel yess i am working on how they meet),

The initial idea (might change) i had for the Iscariot is that Yumiko, Heinkel and Enrico are all from the same orphanage and they sticked together, because Iscariot in this is neutral alignment, and i intended to fix Enrico. He's still hungry for power and control, like in canon, but more grounded because his relationship with Yumiko and Heinkel is closer and they're his found family that keep him from straying too deep into madness (btw spoiler that Millenium is good aligned and Hellsing is bad aligned, it is "reversed" from the og hellsing anyway). In this, Enrico is an occultist, and Anderson is a demon he conjured (to contrast Anderson in canon that served his Christian religion).

Yes and back to the trio, they were seperated and taken in by different organisations and got turned. I am still working on this btw, so the reasons are still unclear whether they were used as bloodbag (yumi) or maybe military purposes idk i need to think harder on it, but one thing is definite is that in this au there are more monsters, real one not artificial, than in og Hellsing, so each group have their own autonomy. Yumie and Heinkel are both true vampire and werewolf btw, not artificial. Anyway, Enrico made a pact with Anderson for power to find Yumie and Heinkel. And they started growing up together, making money by working as hired mercenaries. That's why their alignment is neutral, because they work for the organisation that pays them.

During that time, they helped each other work on the newfound power. Heinkel can't control the wolf shapeshift yet she is working on it and she still wolf out when she's excited. While Yumiko sometimes go bloodlust and delirious, after she drank a lot of people that she assassinated, and her alter ego is Yumie (almost similar mechanism like Alucard's variations in the og hellsing). Enrico binded her with black magic demon power something something idk, almost similar to the Hellsing binding in og Hellsing, but not to bound her to him but to restrict her powers so Yumiko don't just comes out randomly. (I will work on creating a mechanism on her restraint that makes sense, this is still missing a lot of informations).

And to Hellsing, well Hellsing doesn't exactly act like a family, well they almost, kind of, but not exactly. In this, Integra is probably the closest to "family" to Seras while Alucard acted more like a teacher than a family member to Seras. And to recap, Integra is supposed to be Seras' guardian angel (long story btw), but she failed to save Seras in time so she gave Seras' angel blood so Seras became a nephilim, half human half angel.

Okay, let me start from the beginning, everything process like in og Hellsing, Vlad got dragged to public execution and prayed to heaven but G didnt ascend on him. So in this au, i made Integra an archangel who pitied Alucard so she think a little bit of divine revelation to a dead man is probably not too much of a transgression, but when she appeared before him (only he can see and no one else can so they thought he was tripping when he started talking to himself), he assumed that G sent her as a prize for his sacrifice so he just assumed that he rightfully owned her (inspirations from stories of selkies or mermaids that were caught by men because those fishermen just ASSUMED he owned her what a crazy man, but that is what Vlad would do i think) so he cursed her to be bound to him and every of his reincarnations (it's a blood curse, and if you want to know how he did it, he kissed her with his own blood and blood he licked off the stage, and she became an outcast angel like Eve because she ate food from humans, and that was blood too so it was extremely sacrilegious, im drawing inspiration from Eve AND Persephone). Yeah well anyway, Integra still had some celestial power left like understanding Angel's languages and shapeshifting, immortality, demon repelling, exorcism etc etc yeah all the classic one and she can return to her angel form but only PARTLY, not entirely and also she is not allowed back to heaven (she can fly tho but she have her limits when it comes to flying). And then, Vlad reincarnate and everytime he did, he started wrecking havoc, each reincarnations of him doesnt exactly remembered his past lives but he is always born into someone with Dracula blood, descendants of the family. And because Vlad left records, other reincarnation of him also contribute their own record of encounters with Integra. Integra on another hand was stuck with humans, she have her limits and no longer as omnipresence as she was. And each angel in this au is asigned a list of humans to guard over, and Integra failed her task because she no longer capable to guard all over them, however she did have the list and she tried to find her human to protect but most of the time they're already dead by the time she arrived. And she tried to do good things to ammend her sins, but Vlad everytime he was reborn will start conflicts and war to draw Integra out because she is a repenting angel she is very drawn towards places of great suffering, and she tried to hide from Vlad's reincarnations because he have authority over her and she can't kill him, both not capable and not allowed to (as a repenting angel, remember? not allowed to harm anyone). Okay okay fast forward, in the au i am working on, this time the reincarnation of Vlad is called Alucard, and spoiler alert, this time, hes a human but with celestial powers, almost like Integra. Because the soul of Vlad made a deal with Lucifer so when he reincarnated as Alucard, he maintain all of his memories and Integra in this au agreed to side with Alucard because she sensed celestial energy from him so she thought he was blessed or chosen to become an exorcist. And as to why he became an exorcist, he doesn't really care about exorcising, he was just messing around with Integra. In some cases, he himself was the one that conjure demons up (Hellsing is bad aligned in this but Integra and Seras didn't know it yet). And as an exorcist he is invited to crime scenes of demon activities to clean up. One of the crime scenes was Seras's family and Integra finally came across someone on her list that is still at least breathing so she tried ressurecting Seras with her blood. Yeah that's how we got Seras Victoria an orphan that was adopted by the church. Integra cared a lot about Seras, while Alucard intended to use Seras to use Integra. Oh and, Alucard in this au is still obsessive as ever to Integra, he's very close to losing his shits. Alucard and Integra acted like an exorcist duo, with Seras as their protege exorcist.

(The background of Integra and Alucard is lowkey inspired from buddhism's concept of reincarnation and fate and karma something something btw)

as an angel, their first job was to design animals to put on earth! she wasn't the only one with that job, of course, but she had the most fun with it! she's responsible for most of the mammalian carnivores that lived around the garden, such as cheetahs, leopards, lions, jackals, hyenas, and wild dogs. because of her enthusiasm, their next assignment was to watch over the aforementioned animals and to make sure that nature was in balance. she was named the angel of the southern savanna at this time :) sera loved her job so much that she may have ignored god's orders to leave the earth during the expulsion of lucifer + his cohorts. unfortunately for sera, a banishing of this size sent waves of horrific energy cascading over the earth and it scrambled their mind. they were essentially hit by the residual energy(?) that makes demons into demons and it put her into a constant state of pain. it also led her to extreme internal conflicts, as the demonic energy was a bit fucky on their angelic body. because she had disobeyed god's orders and wound up hurt, they essentially became a seraphim-turned errand boy. she was not permitted to visit earth, other angels would get mad that she couldn't properly preen herself, and she felt like she was constantly letting others down. in a split-decision, she sneaks off to earth to visit her animals :) and gets kidnapped by the demon, asmodeus.

asmodeus:

asmodeus personifies lust. he always gets what he wants, and he wanted sera (maybe a reference to the book of tobit?). he took them as his supposed 'bride' and kept her around like a glorified doll that he would bite, claw, and toy at all he wanted. imagine like. a dog and its favorite chew toy. asmodeus kept sera for seven hundred years(?) before getting bored of them. she had no fight left in her and it wasnt fun anymore smh

fallen!sera:

heaven was pissed. seraphina hadn't listened to them AGAIN and now she's like, a half-chewed pen cap. whats up with that? was she working with asmodeus? why'd he call them his bride? she isn't trustworthy anymore. the fall changed them and we cant keep her here anymore. bye girl. after this, depending on how im feeling, she either wakes up in a field alone- surrounded by embers from her fall- or cro/wley/azir/aphale find her. she's initially totally blind (it appears to be traumatic glaucoma), theyre covered in blood(??), and is all dirty. plus, her wings are grey now?? seraphina is, understandably, very confused. how could she be bleeding? why arent her wounds healing? and why didnt they sink into hell once she'd fallen?? turns out, hell did NOT want her. she was still too sweet and icky. i like to think jobs family or someones family end up caring for her. whether they just found her or cro/wley + azir/aphale were like "wow u did so good for god. here's an angel pls watch it for us' and sera essentially becomes an heirloom. she's like jemimah's personal barbie doll. sera will eventually get up and leave to figure stuff out, but theyre mostly a hermit until the 1800s.because human life is scary and feeling like a mortal is weird!!! what is she supposed to do?? luckily, having an angel and a demon around is nice. she finds them and gets in on their shenanigans here and there until the azir/aphales magic show. at that point shes like "woa. these guys are silly ;)" and returns to land they'd bought in mayfair a lil bit ago. sera also eventually opens a plant nursery beneath her house, but no one knows how it stays open since her chronic pain makes her hours super erratic

demon!sera

i don't know how demon!sera becomes a thing. maybe they just fall straight to hell like they were supposed to. as a demon, sera either changes their name to abaddon or baphomet. abaddon because theyre said to be tied to destruction and chaos, which would result from sera's anger towards everything, and baphomet because i think theyre cool :) baphomet also represents social order, which id say is fitting for someone who, in an au, is stuck between heaven and hell. they also kept nature in balance on the savanna, so demon!sera, like their newly, fallen-angel self, is mostly blind. they see light and darkness and very blurry shapes. as abaddon, their irises are split and look like splotches, and, as baphomet, they have horizontal slit irises like a goat's. maybe horns, too. they are also much angrier and prone to outbursts when compared to their angel self and is disgusted by themselves. they hate being a demon and they hate everyone who has. abaddon would use this rage to mostly create natural disasters, and baphomet would use it to insist on forcing things into balance- even when it would cause lots of people pain. i dont know if that makes sense they are also represented by the komodo dragon :) and they tear asmodeus to shreds. demon!sera may also be venomous.

my review for yakuza 1 on the ps2 it is a really good game. you should play it forever and ever. i will probably replay it one day or like get round to finishing kiwami cause it was really fun i had a lot of fun with it <3 the minigames are cool and the substories are good and the localisation is funny and worth experiencing for urself but it also like its not a haha play this game cause its so bad its fun it is acutally a good game and i liked it a lot. 10/10 ten million thoughts under the cut

first of all minigames love in heart massage parlour my favourite it is very funny. talking to prostitutes minigame is fun i completed all of them. almost. haruka cock blocked me for one of them. baseball is good it turns me into the devil sometimes but i like it. gambling. suprisingly not that bad everytime i had to do it. i wish they would have let me skip the 60 second long roulette animation because i know that is not real. crane game. AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! moving on. slot machines. sucked but thats okay idgaf they should have figured out not to put it in subsequent games though. colliseum yeah i did it it was fine pretty typical.

substories were good i did almost all of them excepttt i missed the casino royale one because i progressed the main story too far rawr </3 oh i didnt finish the gangbusters either because i run away from random encounters as much as i can. so i also didnt fight amon. but i like how maybe because ps2 limitations and resource limitations substories were super short and simple. i think in kiwami it was mixing the longer formatted substories with what were originally very basic premises and it didnt work for me. it is what made the substories feel like a slog to me in the remake. but in this game it is easier to gaf about a simple substory when it doesnt take that long to complete. the original game had a lot of the funny ones the one where you give tissues to a guy who ran out of toilet paper in the public bathroom and the one where kiryu picks up a dead guys phone and follows every instruction given to him by a complete stranger until he is eventually hired to kill himself. and the one where tghe guy makes kiryu get all the toys from the crane machine for his sugar baby. and the one where kiryu has to talk a guy down from suicide. and there were ones that werent funny but i still liked like that one with the street artist because I thought it was cool how you can use items from that substory to complete other substories and that one really long chain of substories that takes you all over the map.

Unmm jingu is a shitty villain but I think that has been knew. I thought the story and the way it unfolded was really good until the very last few chapters where the government stuff really kicked in. I did know most of the story already but like. Some parts I liked were helping the counterfeiters at the hostess club and them saying they did a forgery for kazama 5 years ago. The body of the fake mizuki being explained by a a copycat bar that was trying to capitalise on Ares success having someone pretend to be mizuki and that person getting killed. I thought that was cool and interesting I like this level of detail in my weirdly complex crime drama plotlines. I think it was funny that he was voiced by Robert atkin downes. i liked haruka trust meter i thought it was so cute i liked increasing it by buying her things. the localisation is my favourite part of the game i really love how comically vulgar it is it gives me the same enjoyment factor as the silly writing from yakuza 0. it made the game very interesting and i would miss it dearly if it wasnt there. i liked it when kiryu said are you retarded or just deaf. and when yuya said look at you fuckhead. and when kiryu said i did have the urge to hit some balls today. seems like yours are gonna have to do. and when he said step the fuck up its time to die. i loved ten years in the joint fight. come on fucker bring that shit kazuma ten years in the joint made you a fucking pussy it made me say its kiryu time and i kiryued all ovedr the millenium tower. the delivery made everything really funny and like ueah it undercut the dramatic moments but it also made me like enjoy the finale scene with jingu because i kept laughing at everything everyone said so i think there was a net benefit. there was two scenes where i thought the english dub delivery made things funnier on purpose. one was where kiryu took haruka to the bath house and he was like its take your daughter- its a social studies field trip and the one scene where date was like lets break open the amulet and reina and haruka were like NO!! and he was like haha nevermind just kidding. and the one where kiryu explains what a bath house is to haruka was funny too. i love this va i think like. as strange as the action hero deep voice is for kiryu when u have not expereinced this game hes also so sooooo awkward. so awkward. and it wraps around to sounding very kiryu. cause like that kind of is him like hes intimidating but hes also awkward and autistic and doesnt know what a cell phone is or how to babysit a child so he lets her gamble away all his savings. by the way his ps2 model has very beautiful eyelashes.

OH YEAH. i like the combat. sorry. i forgot about the central gameplay mechanic of the whole game i got distracted. like of course it is clunky its a playstation 2 game. but it also was really fun <3 i especially liked. i forgot his name but the moveset of that guy that is like the captain of the nishikiyama family is kind of sick and it was cool to fight against. the combat in this game is the exact mixture of satisfying and so frustrating makes me want to rip the skin off my face and eat it that i love. kiwami is also like this. and i liked how short andd snappy the heat action animations were not to say i prefer them but just that like. i guess it made the fights feel fast paced and it felt just as good to do them as the overly animated ones. i liked how even hough some guys had huge healthbars fighting them didnt take ten million kajillion billion years. WAIT but fuck the komaki training i couldnt even complete it cause it was too hard. that was fucked up they were fucked up for that.

i really liked the style of this game i liked the art and i liked the models and. i looked at some of these cutscenes in a very damnn that looks good kind of way. that one post that is like ps2 is peak aesthetic is so true cause it looked really nice at times.

A tall, black haired male approaches the woman, kicking a Blitzball to the side as he digs his claymore into the ground, as the handle chains rattle. He then stretches out, rubbing his neck as he peers over to the woman, before raising a eyebrow.

"Jus' gonna stand there? Say somethin'!"

His grin is rather cocky and sheepish, as if he expects her to recognize him and praise him, afterall, he is the Star Player of the Zanarkand Abes.

The woman looks up at Jecht with a bit of confusion, tilting her head to the side with a puzzled and curious look on her face as she looked around before realizing he was talking to her, she raised a brow before looking up at Jecht with a puzzled look on her face, her wings raising in curiosity.

"Uhh... hi?"

She cocked her head to the side, clasping her hands behind her back, looking up at him with curiosity.

She clearly didnt recognize the most popular blitz ball player in all of Zanarkand.

Which in turn, causes Jecht to look shocked for a moment, before realizing she wasn't recognizing him, in fact it seemed that she hasn't even heard of his name. Well then, that won't do. With a cocky grin, he puts his hands on his hips.***

"Well well well, don'tcha know the legendary Jecht, star player of the Abes? Helloooooo? I thought you'd be more excited to see me! Hah!"

The woman finally shakes her head, still a slight bit puzzled as she finally speaks up, tilting her head to the side while her angel wings tuck in rather neatly as she stares out to the ocean with an amazed and awestruck expression, leaning on the railing in front of her.

"I'm sorry, I don't have the foggiest idea as to who you may be."

Jecht's grin fades a bit, he looks at her with a surprised expression. Jecht then takes a deep breath, a bit insulted that she didn't recognize him, he thought everyone would know his face.

"Hmm... Well that can't be right! What's ya name, miss? You sure look pretty, and as pretty as they come, you should know who I am, I mean I got more fangirls than any other person in the whole city!"

She shook her head, giving a long sigh with a small, yet genuine smile.

"My name is Lockette, but it's easier for people to call me Lock for short.."

She gave a small shrug, looking out onto the ocean's horizon, taking in the fresh scent of the ocean breeze, a smile coming to her face before raising a brow, turning her head towards him.

"My apologies, but I *really* don't know who you are or even what you're known for."

Jecht tilts his head to the side, before realizing that she really wasn't joking, she doesn't recognize him whatsoever. Jecht crosses his arms and raises an eyebrow, thinking to himself. He then chuckles.

"Well then let me educate you. I'm Jecht, star player of the Abes, and one of the best blitzball players in all of Spira... and also the father of Tidus, that's a pretty big deal. Ya got a boyfriend miss Lockette, or is your heart up for grabs?"

In response, Lock gives a soft laugh, shaking her head softly before smiling up at him, giving a gentle sigh as she stares ahead of her, looking at the rippling water with awestruck eyes.

"No. Unfortunately, it is not. I'm quite taken."

As if right on cue, Jecht's cocky grin fades a bit, he wasn't used to being rejected, but he would play it cool for now. He lowers his hands, as if he could just change the subject.

"So who's the lucky guy? I mean he has to be pretty handsome to get a pretty lady like you to keep her eyes off... well just off me in general."

He says in a slightly teasing tone, looking her up and down, trying to picture her with someone. Who could have possibly caught her attention?

Smiling fondly, she then decides to explain.

"It's a girl, actually. I have a wonderful, beautiful girlfriend.."

Jecht stops, his mouth wide open as his eyes narrow slightly. He then blinks and nods his head, trying to contain his expression. This pretty girl wasn't interested in him in the least, and in fact she had a girlfriend. His interest was piqued even more, if this girl had such a pretty girlfriend, she would have to be quite beautiful as well. He clears his throat, trying to act as if he wasn't surprised.

"Oh... Oh, right right... So you a lesbian then?"

She laughed once again, amused at his oblivious and assuming nature.

"Nope, I'm what people collectively call Pansexual, interested in not just one gender, but rather both and more. Personality is what attracts me."

Jecht nods, his expression relaxed a bit, now he can't be mad at a girl that just likes everyone. The fact she had a girl just intrigued him more, was her girlfriend really as pretty and beautiful as her? Or does she just think women in general are beautiful? He clears his throat, ready to get this conversation going again.

"Hmm... So... is she here? With ya?"

She gave a warm smile, turning around to finally face him fully.

"Yeah, but she's asleep right now in our hotel room, so I just decided to go outside for a smoke and a walk."

She nodded, taking out her lighter and placing a cigarette in her mouth, lighting the end and taking a long drag.

Jecht looks quite surprised, he's a little shocked even. She's just out here smoking, enjoying the ocean, all by herself? Why's this girl not with her girlfriend? What's going on?

"Hmm... So... Just you by yourself then? Why's that? Why's she asleep?"

He says, trying not to sound too interested, yet it's clear that he wants to know more about her and this situation.

"She's what I like to call, 'chronically tired all the time'. I decided to let her sleep, besides, this place is a whole new area to us, and it's also late at night and I didn't want her to get sick so I just let her sleep."

She explained, flicking the ashes off of her cigarette.

Jecht cocks his head to the side, he's not sure what she meant by 'chronically tired all the time', but he nods his head in understanding, he can respect her wanting to take care of her girlfriend. He then lets out a small chuckle.

"Well, you're very considerate of her feelings, is she always like this?"

She takes another drag of her cigarette, staring out into the ocean as she gives a fond nod.

"That's right. She's always so sleepy, she'll fall asleep anytime and anywhere, you turn your back on her for 2 seconds and then when you look back she's probably asleep!"

Jecht is amused a bit, her girlfriend almost sounds like a cat the way she puts it. Then he begins to wonder, why doesn't she just lay down with her girlfriend, cuddle with her during this relaxing time? He clears his throat, ready to ask her why.

"Well then why... why aren't you just laying down with her, keeping her warm and cuddling? That's what... normal couples do, right?"

"I needed a smoke and I didn't want to smoke inside, so I left a teddy bear I gave her a while ago in my place while I'm gone. She'll be fine, I know it.."

She gave a kind smile as she spoke, clearly very fond of her girlfriend.

Jecht raises his eyebrows, she had quite the soft spot for her girlfriend, even going as far as to leave a teddy bear in her place, to make her feel safe. The way she explained her love for her made it seem like they had been together for quite a long time.

"Aww... well... you sound quite fond of her... how long have you two been together, if I may ask?"

Lock turns her gaze over towards the man, lifting a brow in question before a warm look appeared upon her face as she finally replied after a few moments of silence.

"About 3 years now.. I love her.. a lot.. she means so much to me.. I don't know what I'd do without her.."

Jecht's face softens a little bit, he looks back at her, smiling a bit, almost impressed. He couldn't help but notice how sweet and loving she was of her girlfriend, was she really so devoted to this girl?

"Well I can see why you love her so much, you talk about her with such care and affection, 3 years is quite a long time... What's this girl look like? Bet she's almost as pretty as you."

Lock stares up at the deep night sky, up at the glittering stars, finally putting out her smoke with her foot.

"Well, she has this beautiful white blond hair, these beautiful green eyes that if you looked in them long enough you could get lost in them.. her smile could light up the whole world if it was possible.. and her personality.. don't even get me started on her personality.."

Jecht lets out a small chuckle, he can tell just by the way she talks how much she loves this girl. It's interesting though, white blonde hair and green eyes? She sounds quite lovely, although he wouldn't mind seeing her herself, if she really is as wonderful as Lock describes her to be. He clears his throat, ready to ask the final question.

"Hmm... Well, what is her name? I'm quite curious as to what you've fell in love with."

She shifts her gaze down onto the moonlit ocean below her.

"Seraphina. I call her Sera for short.."

most of these are based upon things we can sorta just infer about the series since hirano loooves to leave things open-ended, so some of these are moreof theories/explanations than anything if that's alright.

i put some big organized lists of hcs below the cut :)

to start i'll talk about some general fun stuff! (assuming that's what you're here for):

i always use they/them for pronouns for heinkel. mostly because there's a lot of alternation between he and she in different translations and that doesnt sound very cis to me honestly. but i rock with people who use any pronouns too.

i also see lots of ppl say theyre a lesbian and i feel like that miiight just be a byproduct of The Abridged Effect but i dont really have a label on them. they have their freak shit going on with makube so whatever that is

not a natural blonde and is very diligent about taking care of their hair. only lets their roots grow back in once they start getting older and stop giving af

gets a prosthetic arm and leg after the london attack. we know injuries inflicted before becoming a regenerator still stick around (because of anderson's scar) so walter inflicted permanent damage there.

didnt really listen to mainstream music until they started hearing it from other people like seras and makube. heard classic rock after twenty plus years of exclusively angelic choir music & opera and their brain almost exploded

their dynamics with other characters:

was raised with yumie/yumiko at the orphanage so they have a sibling bond, but they drifted a bit in their teen years/early 20s until enrico made them partners in section 13 again. it was awkward for both of them for a bit but they eventually came into their own as iscariot's dynamic duo of murderers. theyre generally pretty serious with each other but sometimes the cain instinct still kicks in

they view enrico as their boss but still fondly remembers their times together as a kid. mostly just thinks he's pathetic, but in a loving way.

anderson is a very clear father figure to them, and as iscariot's next regenerator after his death they feel like they have impossible shoes to fill; theyre very hard on themselves for that reason. the way he died definitely contributed to heinkel's self destructive habits

they had met integra through enrico before the events of hellsing and just... hated her to death. but in a funny almost homoerotic tension way. if seras was there she would have lost her mind over it and would have been overprotective to some degree

now here's some details on the time skip in general:

heinkel was rushed to the vatican (or maybe some other section 13 base) very soon after the battle of london, not a moment too late. if they were taken anywhere else they would have died of blood loss, but was given the choice to become a regenerator human like anderson for a chance to save their life. heinkel accepts because they believe walter is still out there and wants a chance at revenge. it worked and hence heinkel is now seemingly immortal/doesnt age.

side tangent is that i think becoming a Regenerator ends the aging process at whatever time you take it which explains why anderson's age is unknown and why heinkel looks the same in their supposed 40s/50s

after finding out walter had died and their battle was meaningless they were in a dark place for a long time. they were having trouble properly taking care of themselves after becoming a regenerator (i can imagine it's probably pretty weird!!). while still being a part of iscariot they were sorta benched by enrico's regent (before makube) from entering any of the organization's affairs for the next few decades. they were sort of left to rot in a way, which certainly didnt help with the grief. they considered reaching out to the hellsing organization but couldnt bring themselves to. they still somehow managed to become acquaintances with seras after the battle since they shared the same struggle and losses, but that's about it.

side tangent 2: i think seras and heinkel would genuinely become close after integra's death, but that's very far in the future

enter makube about 15-20 years into the timeskip. makube arrives in section 13 as a bishop and a new caretaker to heinkel, and is hellbent on helping them out, since theyre being "neglected" by the current archbishop, and makube regards heinkel as very important for being one of the few remaining veterans of the war in london. them forming a genuine bond would come afterwards, but that's how it started. overenthusiastic makube and tired heinkel shenanigans ensue and somehow they become tied at the hip. makube would become the archbishop quite a few years after this, and heinkel by extension sorta just becomes their de facto mission buddy.

i finished datv

its a decent game, just not a decent dragon age.

This was the first game in the series where I felt nothing upon reaching finale, no excitement, no sadness, no epicness, just wanted to get it over with. I still started a new character, mostly to see if I can get more lore tidbits on this particular combo of race/faction (and to unlock the last achievement Im missing from 100%). Its just... shallow. Good for "relax, consume and dont ask", but if you want just a tad bit more, youre in for a bad surprise. Not to mention the constant hand holding, jesus christ, trust your player to have a brain, Bioware.

it will be chaotic, but hey ho...

Honestly, I played it for the lore. I knew certain aspects that got confirmed, i was baffled by others, especially contradictory to the previous games... which still would be okay if only it didnt just started snowballing into one big mess.

Old gods lore? Gone. Seems like quickly attached to the elves, which would have been great if it was done better. Much better.

It was elves all along? Spirits into bodies? Expected. Shame they decided to just cut through it with a blaster and infodump en masse on the player, it really took me out.

Blight? See, thats interesting, but we also first learned that red lyrium is blighted lyrium. To have titans infected blood could be interesting, except also red lyrium means angry. What.

Statues of the dread wolf in every single elven place? Yeah why. There was a big point of having his statues in mythals temple in dai, big enough to get its own dialogue, but nope, lets just reuse assets, enviromental storytelling? what is that

Isabela only shared the name with Isabela I knew. Same with Dorian. Morrigan had a few good lines, but it wasnt my Morrigan.

I also like how we dont care about the previous choices and characters, except the ones we need and are as bland as possible, and all have selective amnesia. Either leave the south and the past completely, or import more choices, this is just jarring.

I expected a soft reboot, which we get with letters telling us about the South getting wrecked, and im sort of at peace with that? It stings, but still. The ILLUMINATI reveal at the end tho? I hope they pivot from the implication that ALL of the previous villains/heroes/events were influenced by THE ILLUMINATI, not just observed, DIRECTLY INFLUENCED, cause thats not just shitting on lore, thats shitting on some amazing characters and their agency (LOGHAIN OF ALL), and amazing stories, for the sake of what...? Clearing cut from the past team? I was never a big fan of Trick W, but this is just... ugh. Unless it is a VERY GOOD WRITING, that im not expecting from this team.

Writing is very bland, and mostly bad, way too anachronistic, tonally not even at all, characters are just meh, and the fact you HAVE to be nice to all of them doesnt help. I cant dismiss them, i cant fight with them, i cannot NOT recruit them, the most i can do is not do quests (but loot. and codex entries. and stuff), which is such a regressive decision. POWER OF FRIENDSHIP LESSSGOOO

I think I truly liked only Emmerich and Davrin, even Harding was a shadow of herself. I knew Taash was written by Weekes instantly, same bratiness, same annoyance about them as Sera... whom i actively dont like, but i cared about anyway, and I was prepared and did it for Taash, but certain in your face, including breaking the forth wall, preachy scene made me fucking cringe. Like i literally had to pause cause it was so bad. Taash is kinda too childish as well, not straight to the point like some people claim, just fucking daft. Neve is flat, Bellara is a worse Merrill, Lucanis had a promise, but its like hes written by 2 different people at all times, even Solas contradicts the one I knew before.

Also its so... weird that like Harding gets stuff from her Ma and wants to go camping, but at the same time we know South is barely holding. Antaam is so good theyre every fucking where.

Wardens are great, Id die for Evka. Assan is my boy. Manfred is the greatest wisp that ever was.

What was the most disappointing though, was the zones. What do you mean i FINALLY go to tevinter and see only fucking dock town? Where are my villas? Where are the bad magisters? Wheres the rampant injustice (except in the passing or the codex)? In Treviso, where are the scary Crows, not this anti-hero italian nice mafia? Kal Sharok is just different, but everyones nice and looks normal, but theyre different, lets not get into it though.

Where are dozens of elves following Solas? Whats up with that 6th sense twist that was SO BAD?

Theres probably more stuff that I already forgot about.

I know this games development was hell, the whole process got restarted like 3 times, but the way they sanitised almost everything (shoutout to the Blight cause it has some good moments), and the writing that is even more chaotic than this post, make me feel so... bitter? Disappointed? Disillusioned?

Certainly nothing positive.

Unnamed Hazbin Hotel AU - Episode 2 - Sincere Descent

In Heaven, the male figure from the prologue is in some sort of an archive, studying some scrolls intensely. He is then approached by a very easily recognizable person, Jesus himself.

He speaks in a dreamy quiet voice, a very empathic and concentrated looking man.

Jesus: Aren't you tired, my friend? After all, you've been sitting here for the entire week reading these holy scripts.

The figure looks up, revealing his face which is notably sharing many similarities with Samael. Blonde hair combed to a very similar hairdo, his face also sharing many commons with Samaels most notably his eyes and mouth shape, but he lacks the makeup and has a nose 

Figure: As grateful for your concern Father would be, I do not feel tired in the slightest. Immerses himself in the holy scroll again 

Jesus: If you say so, my friend. Nods and leaves 

The figure continues to read.

In Seraphims chambers Adam and his 2nd in Command Lute are proudly reporting the results of the Extermination to the very gloomy Seraphim.

Adam: Oh you should have seen the fucking looks on their fucking disgraceful faces! So desperate “Oh pwease spare me, mwaaaaa” hahahahahah, this shit is so funny

Lute: In other words, about 32500 sinners were exterminated this year, maam.

Seraphim: Frowns You have done well. Now go get your rest. You deserve it.

Adam: Whoa why so early? I haven't even gotten to the part with the cunt whose skull got split in half-

Lute rolls her eyes and follows Adam out of the room

Seraphim sighs and looks out of the stained glass window into the sky.

She proceeds to sing about her feelings about the Extermination, how much she wishes to help sinners in a different way but she's powerless in these terms, as well as how much she would love to see Earth with her own eyes instead of just hearing about it from the already dead people in Heaven. From sad and hopeless the mood of the song gains hope after she acknowledges a meeting that will happen later this day regarding the “Blade of God” (Figure)

After a time skip to the time of the meeting Seraphim teleports to the Meeting Halls waiting room, just on time to meet Jesus there

Jesus: Delightful to see you, sister.

Seraphim: Great to see you too, Jesus!

Jesus: How has my good friend been doing lately? I sense the Extermination makes you discouraged and sorrowful no less than me, if not more.

Seraphim: Yes. You know well what I think of this way of handling Hell's population at bay. But that isn't why we're here today. How is our holy sentinel progressing with his learning schedule in your archives?

Jesus: Looks down and shakes his head. His effectiveness and rapid intellect increase is what concerns me. Just last week he came to my archives to read and educate, and this morning I asked him if he doesnt feel tired after sitting in one place for an entire week constantly reading didnt tire him, and his answer? He politely acknowledged me of his freshness and that the Lord would be very pleased by my concern for his health. Our selfless hope is rather becoming… Careless about mankind he was made to save. This task given to him hasn't made him one to praise and protect life from purity of heart but solely from being told to. That is not what a fine guard is fighting for.

Seraphim: IIIIIII may or may not have found a solution to that problem. Puts on a smirk of mischief

Jesus: What is on your mind, sister?

Seraphim: Ah don't worry, Jesus, you'll hear everything in just a few minutes when God lets us in.

As soon as she finished her sentence the huge door made a loud sound and started opening, slowly and majestically. Inside is the room from the Prologue of Ep.1, and the Archangels are sitting on their respective thrones. Michael is seated on a throne of gold with the back of the chair being the peak of goldsmithery (For reference similar back to thrones of the Prophets from Halo franchise) Azrael is sitting on a throne made of black stone and bones, holding his scythe in his left hand. Uriel sits on a throne of amber and gold, the amber glows and sometimes sparks fall to the ground around the throne. Gabriel has a one made of gold similar to Michaels but decorated with snow white wings and feathers. Raphael has an almost pompous throne covered in red velvet with gilded heraldic horns making the arm seats. Seraphim sits on her, far less ornate throne of white and cyan (her own color scheme) depicting a simple ring as a back of the seat. Jesus simply sits on the ground in the turkish seat. A bright light blasts from above with the faint choir sound in the background (for the effect of course) and all of the present Councilors of Heaven look up to the sky. Camera shows the silhouette of the throne of God again, and Michael speaks

Michael: We have all gathered at your wish, Father. 

Michael bows, and so do all the other Archangels and the Seraphim, Jesus without exception.

God speaks. His voice like echoes of a choir (both men and women), but with a dominant bass taking the lead (the loudest and best coherent)

God: Good. Michael, Azrael, Gabriel, Uriel, Raphael, First Seraphim and my son, Jesus, I have called you to come and aid me with deciding the future of My Blade. As we all know, he already gained a holy knowledge degree higher than most prophets and whitebeards had of our realm and has been taught the mastery of his weapon that rivals the most legendary swordsmen in all of time. This all was overseen by you, so tell me, now that you taught him all he needs to know, what will My Blade do until we shall call him to arms, hm?

Jesus stands up

Jesus: Father, me and the Seraphim have discovered a common concern in his cause. We acknowledged his selflessness was an intention and a wise decision made by you, but he walked out of the bounds we hoped he would fill. His purpose is to protect us and save mankind from the Lord of Devils, but he doesn't seem to comprehend it. He is loyal with all of his body and only to you, but our Sentinel doesn't understand your reasoning why man is too precious to be saved.

God: I see. Yet what use would his understanding be? As long as his purpose is fulfilled there is no need for him to know, is there? Tell me, my son, what is the reasoning behind your suggestion?

Jesus: Oh Father, I have a human soul and walked among humans for all my half-mortal life. I gave them faith in you, and all they needed was a bit of explanation and proof to walk with me in your name. I suggest you bless him with your time and show him why it is so important to protect your creation.

God: Your reasoning is wise, as always, my son. Yet I have my doubts on the way My Blade would interpret my teachings. Do you have an alternative?

Jesus looks down and shakes his head.

God: Alright then. Does anyone else have a suggestion on how our Holy Sentinel shall learn about this matter?

One by one, the Archangels shake their heads. Seraphim takes a deep breath in, exhales and stands up

Seraphim: Oh Lord, I have already faced this problem and I believe I have discovered a solution to it. 

God: Go ahead, my child, present your beliefs. You have my blessing.

Seraphim: bows Thank you, oh Lord. As we all know, humans are developing quickly nowadays and discover new wonderful inventions every day. But how do they do it, you ask? Allow me to show you.

Seraphim casts the spell that shows who you wish to see (Used in HH episode 6 in the heaven courtroom to view Angel Dust) In the bubble some sort of a presentation appears. Famous world leaders (Buddha, King Arthur, etc.) as well as random teachers and motivational speakers, helping their people, giving advice and hope and courage to continue their journey through life.

Seraphim: That's how people help each other, we all know that. Even though many sins are committed, there's always those who are eager to help and overcome, and the world is full of them. My idea? Send him among them. Surely he's going to find someone who will teach him first hand!

Azrael looks skeptical as always. Michael is interested but reserved and cold. Uriel is very much taken by Seraphims presentation. Gabriel is fascinated and bent forward in his throne. Raphael seems taken away by her energetic nature and speech. Jesus is smiling calmly, nodding in agreement. God is silent and we don't see his face so we cannot decide his opinion, but seem intrigued.

Seraphim: There was a war on Earth and it ended just a couple years ago, they called it The Great War. So many people died… And post conflict crisis is all over the world, which means that these good hearted people will be everywhere to help, am I right? I suggest we send him to this “New York City”. They say it's a city of infinite possibilities after all, which means he could learn everything we want him to without the need of traveling! And if anything goes wrong, we would know where to look for him.

I say this is good enough of a place for him to stay, don't you agree?

Seraphim looked at the faces of the Archangels. Azrael, Raphael and Michael seemed uncertain and doubtful, but Gabriel, Uriel and Jesus were smiling and nodding in agreement.

Seraphim looked up at God. 

God: Hmm… I will take my time to decide if this is the ideal plan. In the meantime, does anyone have any counter proposals?

All the Archangels shook their heads, even though Azrael, Raphael and Michael a little unwillingly

God: Alright then.

Azrael stands up and taps with his scythe on the floor twice, making an echoing metallic ringing sound, and starts singing (Raphael makes background vocals). His words are words of doubt and disagreement and how Earth and humans only corrupt and destroy nowadays. Michael looks like he would like to say something to counter it but then looks away saddened again. Seraphim takes the lead after Azrael's part is finished, pretty much countering what he said and how much she believes in the good in man and what they themselves can learn from their creations. (Here, us who know how people worked in the 1920s can see just how idolized her view of humans is). Azrael attempts to cut her off after a couple verses, but Gabriel and Uriel join Seraphim in her effort to convince God. The song ends with 

God: Fair enough. My decision was made. My Blade will descend to New York and shall learn my reasons to protect the human race. All under your surveillance, Seraphim. There is only one rule you have to follow.

Seraphim: What is it, oh generous Lord?

God: He has not become more of a human himself. We need him to remain pure in terms of self awareness and such.

Seraphim freezes for a short moment. The Archangels and Jesus notice, but don't say a word.

Seraphim: I will not fail you, oh Merciful. Our Sentinel will need a name to be called by man, but I promise he shall not become attached individually.

God: Do you?

Seraphim nods

God: Alright then. There is no more to be talked about, you all can depart now.

All the Archangels stand up and bow, just like Seraphim and Jesus, then proceed to leave through the gate that has been opened with the same effect like before

God watches them as they leave, Jesus looks up to him before passing through the gate with… sadness in his eyes?

As soon as the gate closes and Jesus exhales, like a huge stone fell off his heart, he gets crushed in a bear hug by Seraphim that is crying tears of joy

Seraphim: Oh thank you thank you thank youuuu!! Seraphim regains a bit of her composure and stops hugging Jesus, only holding his hands in her own.

Seraphim: I mean… I wouldn't think this would be possible without you. I know well that God doesn't approve of anything if you dont think it's for the better yourself.

Jesus: I'm glad I could aid your cause, my friend. But just to be clear, you should stick to the promise you made. We all know how Father treats those who break promises they made to him.

Seraphim: Ah, don't worry! What do you think I am going to do? Just… dont worry, it's gonna be alright.

Jesus looks at her with a bit of desperate hope that she's right, but deep down knows he is wrong.

Jesus: …Of course it will…

Seraphim: Now, I think I'll go and report to our Savior on his new tasks.

Jesus: Sure. Go ahead, your job awaits.

Seraphim, from now on I think I can legitimately refer to her as Sera, makes her way through Heaven with a short song about her dreams being fulfilled (Learning about life on Earth). Upon arriving to Jesuss archives the song ends as she opens the gate and walks between the towering racks, looking for the Figure.

She finds him in the same place Jesus left him at the start of the episode, sitting on a stool, immersed in reading. He looks up at her when he hears her approaching.

Figure: Seraphim? he says, no, he's not surprised by her entry, he's asking why she came

Sera: Clears her throat Ahem, Blade of God, follow me. The council has decided where your path shall move on. 

Figure rolls up the scroll he was reading, puts it back in its place and obediently stands before her, waiting for her to start walking.

Now we can finally look at his body in full scale. He's very tall (The top of his head is around her shoulders. Charlie is described as about 6,5 feet tall and her head is around Seras waist. Let that sink in), wide shoulders, strong arms, large ribcage, proportional waist that supports the mass on his upper torso, long and strong legs. Overall he's quite the sight to behold, his hands aren't overly large like one would expect from such a giant of a man. This amazes Sera everytime she sees him. He isn't like some ogre, he is just a size up of a man. And another thing that fascinates her is that he isn't dumb in the slightest, he's just completely obedient.

They walk through the archives to the very back, where the Figure resides.

Sera: The first phase of your training is finished. Now you will go through the second one. You will descend to Earth in a human body and live among them for multiple months, while returning here about… every one or two months. You'll know when you'll have to go back. God wishes to make you understand your purpose yourself, to love mankind. And this will occur under my full supervision, understand?

Figure: Yes, Seraphim.

Sera: Good. But to fit in, you'll need to know something about Earth first, more precisely, about the present. And yeah, something else than this. points at his simple white robes

So what do you know about human civilization- the present day I mean. She quickly corrected herself when she saw how the tall man started inhaling deeply.

Figure: According to the Christian calendar it's the year 1924, 6 years after the war called The Great War ended. The world is undergoing an economical crisis, most notably Germany which was on the losing side of the war.

Sera: Very good. The name of the place you'll go is New York, a city in the United States of America. To your clothes… let's try something like…

Sera starts doing some magic and the robe on the Figures body starts shifting to separate pieces and new colors. It ends up looking like your average New York citizen.

The Figure inspects his new outfit, and looks genuinely curious.

Sera: Oh and I would forget, you'll need a name that people will call you by. They rely on these so much you know? Hmm something with J at the beginning, that would be right… How about… Josh? No, not that. Joel? No. Jeff?... No, you don't have Jeff's face… Hmh… Joffrey?... An improvement but still not it!.

Figure: May I assist?

Sera: Seems lost in her thoughts Yeah, yeah, sure go ahead.

Figure hesitates for a moment before speaking up

Figure: I was thinking that John is a simple name, I read that it is an everyday name, very common.

Seraphim looks at him, a bit surprised by his choice, but slowly seems to agree

Sera: You know… John… that has a nice soft touch to it… John… John… How about John Joffrey, combining both of our ideas?

Figure - John Joffrey: As you say.

Sera: Well, I guess you're ready to go.

Sera opens a golden portal and smiles

Sera: And don't forget to tell me everything when you return!

Figure - John Joffrey: Yes, Seraphim.

The portal sucks him through and closes. Sera exhales deeply. This was finished. The die is cast. Now all we can do is wait.

I got this idea of making notes from @marquisev, the creator of the amazing Sinners Symphony AU named “Arencha Amendable”, who does these to explain some things in the text. I find it more practical than just showing everything into the text and interrupting the reader

I had this silly headcanon that came into mind when I read someone's ask about y/n and satoru's kid 'sachiro' (or sum like that I can't remember) and I'd like to know what your interpretation would be like(as the writer/author) if y/n ended re-marrying toji(in the whole co-parenting thing), and how he would be as a step-dad towards sachiro.

I personally think Satoru's pettiness levels would be extremely high since y/n married his rival company and be low-key jealous of how close he is to sachiro///

like, just the part of mc's heart disease made me cry like idk??? like a baby? because when i was 5, i was diagnosed with one (and thank god is cured bc i had surgery when i was 8) but i stopped to think if i hadn't gone to the hospital that day, maybe i wouldn't have discovered this and i wouldn't have had the surgery annnd like, this made me cry a lot,,,,, your work is amazing, it makes me think about a lot of things in my life i didn't really paid attention, i guess

Gojo is finally getting what was coming for him and he deserves it. He's in denial about it, but he absolutely was just as abusive as his dad, even if he would never get physically violent. It makes me have so many encountered feelings, bc I'm a gojo simp and kinda want mc and him to have their happy ever after, but realistically that kind of emotional abuse is extremely hard to look past and move on from, and in real life I would absolutely beg mc to get away from him as fast as possible.

I also find it so hard to empathize with sera lol girl I'm poor too but i've never gone after a married man. We really saw also how she loves the idealized version of gojo, and doesn't like when her picture perfect boyfriend is anything but. I can see how she desperately wants something perfect after dealing with her family but still #SeraGetTherapyChallenge

The conversation between Sera and Gojo - I felt mixed emotions. Anger? Remorse? Anxious? Too much happening since Gojo finally confronted Sera about what’s going on but Sera was pulling another trick up her sleeve. Will she use the pregnancy as a bridge to success or failure? She’s making me angry but also curious because sometimes the second female leads somehow manage to royally screw everything up anyways so I’m just waiting for that specific chapter to come up. And the relationship she has with her family made me feel so bad honestly. I can’t imagine yelling at my parents but in her case, since the dad is acting that way, Sera should just kick him out if he’s not providing financially. The mom I see her as a housewife watching the kids while Sera’s working so that’s okay. If anything, she didn’t have to yell at her siblings for caring about their older sister 🥺

Second concern was the conversation between MC and Gojo. That was a tear jerker (but it won’t top Ch.9) and I just wish for happy MC 💜 Gojo has abused her verbally and mentally (physically too bc of the ring situation), so I don’t think there will be a happy ending between them..? Maybe so maybe not but as far as the story goes, Gojo has a lot to make up for this marriage. MC won’t file for a divorce maybe because of the business relationship but if she had the power to, then she would’ve ended it without thinking twice. Now that we know MC has CAD, there’s no doubt in my mind the divorce will come with a happy ending like “Gojo, I’m sorry for the divorce but just know that regardless of what happens between us, I’ll still wish for happiness for you. It may not be with me but I don’t want you to suffer as much as I did,” type of divorce, ya know? Like pull the trigger with her own happiness and it makes him suffer in the end? Too much lol? However the story goes I will still love it anyways!

Last, Toji and MC. IN MY OPINION(!), I’m not wanting Toji and MC to become a couple. At first when he came up to MC at the bar my heart did backflips and I was like “oh yes she gonna get drunk and have a liquid courage hookup with him!” But as the story progressed and their relationship to, I see their relationship becoming a Brother-Sister type of bond . . I see Toji caring for his baby sister and wanting nothing but happiness for her while MC leans towards him as a escape zone for comfort. The way Toji makes her smile without much effort makes my heart melt but I don’t feel butterflies like that. I don’t think MC looks at him in that sense and is most likely using him (well not ‘using’ him) as an asset to begin her career. Like it’s a friend looking out for a friend :) I’m sorry to everyone who supports the Toji x MC trope but I support their relationship whatever if is our Author plans in the end!

After that emotional ending in chapter 8, I went to listened to the SN song playlist to comfort my heart and soul. The song that stood out was Harry Styles’ Falling and I decided to watch the music video as well. Someone in the comment section interpreted the music video, saying, “And after drowning himself, he realizes how he can try to start again, even when it’s really hard to recover from what he’s been through. That’s why the beginning is actually the end, with the water in the room going down, he playing the wet piano again and resting.”

It made me think, what if SN’s open ending is like that? Very simply, Gojo and y/n do separate, the merging wouldn’t happen, Gojo would lose y/n and his chance at being CEO, and Sera seems like she wouldn’t stick with him through all of this (seeing that she only likes the idea of his perfect self). Gojo will essentially hit rock bottom and wallow in regret as y/n moves on. In my mind, y/n wouldn’t necessarily move on to another relationship but move on with her career and loving/caring for herself. At some point, Gojo will find a way to forgive himself and move on from the past as well; he’ll find it in himself to let go of the agony that has tormented him (i.e. reconcile with his mom). And maybe years later, a mentally healthy Gojo and a heart healthy y/n would cross paths again, and it’ll be an open ending to whether or not they end up together again. But ultimately, they both are at peace and have forgiven each other. I also like to think that even during the time they were apart, they continued to have love for each other.

HEAVY FBAA SPOILERS

I just trying to figure these books out, understand the prophecy, find who the dark one is and I would have very good theories IF JLA DIDNT HAVE THE HABITS OF LYING AND CHANGING EVERYTHING WE KNOW IN EACH BOOK.

I’m not even sure about the whole primals to gods to deities to godlins thing bc its so complicated. And then what are Atlantians ? What makes them, what makes them more than mortal, how are the bloodlines created ? By the union of deities and mortals ? Are they godlins ? that are the "basics" I don’t quite understand or just can’t remember.

PLUS they’re so many characters I love it but it’s a lot and we can never be sure who they really are bc jla loves to play w us ;) but i have it kind of figured out. I will try to share and explain some theories I saw left and right. Maybe these are well known and already discussed and shit but I’m new on here and I’ve never been able to rant and exchange w FBAA fans before so I’ll give it a try, feel free to react in fact pls DO REACT

So according to some theories, Isbeth is not really poppy’s mother and she just tries to mess w her, which I think would be kind of a deja-vu turnaround but whatever, so my guess is that poppy is the daughter of ires (that we know for sure.. I hope) and JADIS, nektas daughter. It would made her a god AND some kind of draken, although I’m really not sure about this, it would be sm cooler than Isbitch and would explain (if there is anything to explain, it might just be details, not a big part of the plot) why poppy is so interested in shape changing creatures and why the draken are becoming highlights of the books (poppy meeting nektas, the draken being what they are : the super powerful protectors of primals, jadis being that cute baby everybody love in ASITE, then going missing w ires and now we don’t know what happened to her). But I’m pretty sure JLA confirmed Isbeth was her real mother so let’s just focus on the REAL THING >> THE DARK ONE.

Two options in my opinion : Kolis or the supposedly dead son of malec and isbeth. Kolis bc the Dark One is described as a whole different entity compared to everything we know, he has no face, pretty much no soul.. he’s just a void yk and that would match Kolis bc in the ASITE timeline, one way or another, he was dispossessed from both title, he cannot be life nor death since by usurping one he lost the other. AND they manifest in the same way : when Nyktos went to claim Sera in the ASITE prologue, he had a hood covering his face and shadows and darkness were surrounding him. Exactly like the dark one during poppy’s attack. So he just goes around doing shit till he finds poppy during the attack that killed her adoptive parents, spare and protect her BC SHE IS SOTORIA REBORN (cus she’s a descendant of sera who is sotoria reincarnated, and it goes on and on) AND HE CAN ONLY PROTECT THE OBJECT OF HIS UNDYING LOVE THAT HE LOST THOUSANDS OF YEARS AGO. We can add to this theory that he is in some ways linked to Isbeth great design like maybe he was order to get poppy for isbeth idk or the other way around everything is the plan of Kolis trying to get revenge and he uses Isbeth bc she too wants revenge AND isbeth was all mysterious and teasing a greater plan to cas in the first chapter of TWOTQ (pre-released) so them working together or her for him would make sense (I’m saying this bc it would be weird for the fucking former primal of death to work for a fake god yk but this is just me thinking about everything little single details bc I have adhd and ocds). Anyway maybe they are just two salty bitter bitches who are willing to destroy the worlds for their ego but it’s really not the point even if I’ve been developing this for so long damn write your own book. OR malec and isbeth’s dead son. It would add sm spice to an already way too complicated and spicy plot but we love it. Because yk there’s no proof he’s really dead and maybe Isbeth LIED (that would surprise no one) and she very much would know where he is and how he is doing because bc he’s be very much alive.. and if we want to go further, but again it’s just me saying shit cuz I don’t have the patiente to write my own book, kind of alive bc the Dark One is, as said earlier, a void like no life no death no soul no thoughts head’s empty. Anyway long short story he’d be a revenant, created by Kolis, or not, I just really feel like Kolis has to do w EVERYTHING, since he’s shady and has a habit for doing shit between life and death. That would make sense and just be cool for the plot since he’s Isbeth’s son and she, as far as we know, owns the Revenants. In both cases the Dark One could be connected to Isbeth, or not, depends on how deep you want the plot to go. AND I think Kolis is linked to the Revenant one way or another. But then I’m wondering how could Isbeth be such a big deal.. she was just king malec’s mortal side chick, she’s really overstepping and being dramatic here 🙄🙄 That’s it for now I’m tired I WILL analyze the prophecy later bc I HAVE AN EXCELLENT IMAGINATION

Illena character analysis

The unrighteousness of the Hierarchy took Illena's fragile state of mind and twisted her into a monster. And while we can understand her cruel actions and such she should still be held accountae as she is deserving of the consequences. Narratively, She is not a sympathetic character but instead a pitiful character due to how she is presented in the story

But to provide some background, the high rankers dictating the lives of people beneath them reinforced the idea that power is everything to the mid tiers and that if you have it you're better than anyone who is weaker than you and are allowed to do what you want to them basically, that's part of the why the mid tiers bully the low rankers so much, because that sort of thing is justifiable in their world due to the hierachy.

But they aren't just doing it because they believe that they deserve it, it's deeper than that. The mid tiers want to be respected and or atleast acknowledged/taken seriously for the strength that they possess, just like the high tiers. And with that being said, there are things that the mid tiers cannot do in society because they're simply not strong enough, and because of they're forced to conform to what the high rankers tell them. The mid tiers quite literally hate that they have to listen to the high rankers because they will suffer the consequences and get beat up if they dont. Point is, they're just picking on the lower tiers to feel good about themselves and vent their frustrations in a system where power is everything. Illena is no exception

But she practically sees a former god tier acting all high and mighty/condescending when they've literally been rendered powerless, and notice that they are now attempting to take the moral high ground since that they're the one being discriminated against after losing everything. High tiers wanted mid tiers to know their place but cannot accept their own if they're not in a position of power, that is what Illena learns here.

think about it, all of a sudden they neglect the entire structure of the system and consider beating up low tiers as an injustice when they did not care about what happened to them at all when they were on top of the food chain where she perpetuated the same caste system because it was once beneficial for her. And that seriously pisses off Illena because to her this must mean that Sera still thinks that she's better than them even without any abilities because she decides to fight back/retaliate, perceiving the mid tiers as week (protecting other low tiers in the process and more importantly acting as if she still owns them by telling them what to do and getting into their business, as Illena has said)

And Illena doesnt just kidnap Sera to get back at her specifically, but all of the high tiers in a sense, their arrogance entitlement, etc etc only using Seraphina as an outlet for all of their pent up frustration and hurt. She didn't even see them as an individual, but just another high tier, as we see when Illena addresses Sera using words such as "you guys" "her kind" "them".

Illena basically just wanted to hammer in notion that the high tiers were nothing without their powers to get rid of that same high tier like mindset ingrained in Sera's head to establish her place in the hierarchy as the most worthless and incompetent student in Wellston. All she wanted was for Seraphina to learn her place and act her rank accordingly. Because as a cripple she's worthless, and she should act/be treated as such. For in this society power is everything, and high tiers were the ones who ebstablised this with their Hierachy. Seeing Seraphina acting like she was better than them was unacceptable after everything the high tiers perpetuated

In this instance, Illena wanted Sera to admit that they were better than her and that she was beneath them

And so, when she refuses. Illena gets pissed off because of her stubbornness, this is when the others step up and tell her that what she's doing is excessive.

Here Krolik implies that they should let Sera go, and this isn't what he tjinks but everyone else present too, as seen as other mid tiers stand by his side. But I am not saying that they felt remorse for Sera necessarily, but felt that torturing her was unnecessary and that if they kept her hostage/continued abusing her they would be severely punished once they're eventually caught, and that just isn't worth it to them as they know that beating her up will ultimately change nothing in the long run, anyway. They just wanted to get back at her for what she did... But not like this

Basically, they want Illena to accept that they don't need confirmation to know that they're better than her, it's a given seeing as Sera's a cripple, having no value/worth. She should just give up...

But she's refuses.....out of pride, insecurity. Needing reassurance, a sense of superiority above someone that was better than them for so long as she is offended by their hypocrisy and double standards

..Anyways when Arlo catches them and calls them disgusting, Illena calls him out for valuing a cripple above the rest of them when they were stronger than her, as following the structure of his hierarchy he shouldn't even care. Usually he would just ignore them anyway. And while it is debateble on whether or not Arlo would do anything if it was someone he didnt know the fact that Illena genuinely believed that he wouldn't step in only reinforces how bad the system really is where no one expects a high tiers to help someone beneath them when they're in trouble. She also said that the high tiers dictate the lives of the people beneath them because they were born gifted and get specials privilege because of it, just because they are stronger than everyone else. And Illena is frustrated that they have to listen to the high tiers, because they're punished if they don't comply, to her it's unfair. The high tiers did whatever they wanted with the mid tiers because they were above them, so the mid tiers should be able to do whatever they want with Sera as she is beneath *them*.

But Arlo just ignores her, and this reinforces her belief that the royals dont care about the feelings/opinions of anyone beneath them since it doesn't matter what lower tiers think because the high tankers will always be stronger, meaing they dont have to listen to shit(The lions do not concern themselves with the opinions of the sheep). And that pisses her off. In that moment, she disregards his rank. Pushing past her fear and trying to sucker punch that bitch. As the only way to get your point across in this world is through violence….but the realization that she can't do shit begins to sink in once she receives reflective damage from his barrier, serving as a reminder that no matter what they really can't do anything, because they're not strong enough. Turns out her little stunt was nothing but a meaningless attempt to change the status quo, this hits Illena hard. And she just accepts that she will probably be expelled

And with all of that said Illena might've been a hypocrital bitch but she still had a valid point.And if anything her being a hypocrite only reinforced how bad the system is at hand as well. Simply put, Illena represents the struggles of being a mid tier and sheds light on their mentality and what they deem jusifiable as a result of their system. She also provides insight on the damaging us vs them mentality and actually had a point in her rant to the high tiers. She had actual depth to her actions other than just being an asshole and had something of importance to say

I like her as a character study. I think her motivations are pretty realistic in context of the world she lives in. She's an product of her environment that shaped her into becoming this bully who resents the higher ups because of their privellege.

And that my friend, is why I like Illena as a character from a narrative standpoint

I personally think whether it was Count or Countess, the meaning does not change. How does changing the gender of a title change the validity. Integra holds "Sir" title (which I think, is a translator thing, she used "卿" not "サー", I don't know Japanese, this was brought up in this post, if someone have something to talk about it please inform me) and she still holds all the authority and validity that comes with the title.

Not to mention, Pip used "Mon cher" with Seras (In the English dub). I do not speak French, but according to Quora, and another friend of mine mentioned to me, "Mon cher" is to address a male acquaintance, while to addressing a female acquaintance, "Ma chère". But it does not change the context of it. Pip does love Seras, not just as a comrade but as a romantic partner. Can't two counts love each other anymore what are we homophobic???

And I want to add a detail because i didnt see much people mentioning this. Firstly, I could not for the life of me find any record not a transcript nor video footage of the interview. But I had been looking through a discussion on Wikipedia (yes it is not a reliable source but what else do we have)

This page had discussions about a statement the author had made about the relationship of Alucard and Integra.

There are two points that I collected from this that would be relevant to the topic.

First point, I will assume it was made by someone who did not ship or like Alucard x Integra, so it is guaranteed that this isnt a biased statement:

Ok, This is Demon Rin here (I was mentioned below) what was said at the Panel was, and I am NOT going with "My" Translation on this, this is also what the Official Translator Said. the Fan Asked what kind of relationship they had, and he said "Master and Servant", that was it, he said no more. the Translator translated it as such. Then, the room went silent. Nobody Said ANYTHING, and then he added as a joke "But I guess Twisted relationships like that can be allowed" to get a laugh out of the audience, and Again, that is EXACTLY what the translator said. NOTHING was aid about love, it was "But I guess Twisted relationships like that can be allowed". It was simply reworded by AxI fans who WANTED it to be love, so they just kinda heard it how they wanted to.

This statement had been argued against by another user, right under it, but before going to it, let's talk about what Hirano had said according to the first user's words. "But I guess Twisted relationships like that can be allowed". We have to look at things in a context, we cannot just nitpick that it is "relationship" not "love" so it isnt romantic aligned? Especially when the ENTIRE sentence was THAT.

Let's remove the "Twisted relationships/love" thing

"I guess it can be allowed".

What does that sound like? If a relationship is purely professional and platonic? Like the relationship between Integra and Seras? Would it ever be put into questions whether it was "allowed" or not? And if we think it is "forbidden" because it was an alliance between a vampire and a hunter, it is clearly not? Integra and Seras's relationship of mutual respect and trust and allyship of the two were never questioned of its validity. The Queen herself did not express opposition against Hellsing's allyship with vampires, and the Knights aren't visibly against it neither. The idea that vampires and hunters cannot be allies is an opinion, not a fact, especially in the setting of Hellsing. So, if not the allyship? Then what? What is the forbidden aspect of their relationship ??? That was never brought to question between them and any other characters??? GUESS

Even if you removed the (presumably) undefined factor that is the exact word Hirano had used to refer to ("relationship" or "love"), the insinuation is STILL THERE. But that is in the context of this discussion as I have not seen the interview myself so this is all based on assumption from the information pieces that I've collected. I could be entirely wrong. I honestly don't know which informations in this discussion is real. Everyone seems to have their own point, as well as I does, but take my opinions with a grain of salt. I am even more unreliable than the users in the discussion as I have not been there nor have i seen the interview.

The second point, which in my opinion isnt as strong as the first point, because one, I haven't heard of this information from anywhere except this discussion, and while I have not seen anyone debunking it yet, I have to repeat again that I DID NOT see the interview, all of what im mentioning here are collected from the discussion alone, which couldve been different from the interview. And two, I said it is not as strong because the user who brought this up seems to be in support of Alucard x Integra. I do not think your shipping preference will always affect your perception, but a pro-Alutegra information from a hater is definitely 100% valid, while a pro-Alutegra info from a shipper MIGHT not hold the same percentage of validity. Again, I am not implying that anyone is lying, but just keep the mindset that a statement might be affected by the speaker's bias, intentionally or not:

Funny enough because that girl who asked was in the BOH forums briefly and told a different story that Hirano had assured her in the signing after that there could be "something going on" between them.
