My thoughts on the current ipl points table that absolutely no one asked for :

1. They're the og champions...very chill, very fun vibes.

soo happy to see them on top. They really be feeling like royalty rn lol.

Also in the end, I'm just a girl 🎀💖 some I absolutely adore their jersey.

2. Yaar.... I know Hyderabad is a great team and everything but.... Do you guys have to go this hard?

Other teams come to play a match, this team comes to crack open your morale and bring you to your knees.

Baki teams khel rahi hai, Yeh log toh seedha gunda gardi kar rahe hai Yaar.

Watching Abhishek, our Indian player, a youngster, bat like that feels amazing tho.

3. Kolkata.... Man.

Gautam bhai aaye, and suddenly Sabka Chris Gayle bahar aagya.

I feel like sunil will take both purple and orange caps this year and gambhir bhai has already planned on picking the trophy this year so... Yea.

PS : once gautam bhai is done someone pls convince him to come as ICT's coach.

4. Chennai = 7 letters = thala for a reason.

They're doing great, but their recent performances makes me worried about what will happen to this team when Mahi Bhai retires.

If they don't start taking more responsibility now there's a good chance csk will crash land in the bottom next year. Hope thT doesn't happen tho.

5. LSG, you beauty....

They look like they are a weak team but they've defeated rcb, gt, pbks and...sabse importantly.... CSK.

But their next matches are quite tough too... So we'll see where they end up after 2 - 3 more matches.

The way kl Rahul hits sixes is just beautiful.

6. Mumbai.

I...... Have no idea what mysterious substance this management was on tbh.

If you want to remove someone from the captaincy, there's gotta be a better way to do that so the fans aren't offended and the player also isn't disrespected. Look how kohli left rcb's captaincy for example.

Then, if you wanted to look towards the future, Bumrah and Surya, both who have captained team India and have stayed with the franchise despite having so many opportunities to earn more if they leave should have been considered.

Or they could have just choosen Ishan. Just like csk and gt choose youngsters, Ishan could have been a good option too. Plus He's captained his team during u-19 in 2016.

But no. They choose Hardik.

Tbh, I feel so sorry for him cause in his mind, when MI offered him captaincy and called him back, he would have been happy to go back to his old team...like going back home.

But the sad truth is, MI management saw how successful he was in gt, winning in the first year and then reaching the finals in 2nd year....and it pissed them off that their player is doing well in some other team. So they brought him back.

Despite so much backlash from fans, so much hatred and trolling against Hardik, this shitty management never held one press conference to clear up misunderstandings and give answers to their fans honestly. Because they knew, if the truth comes out, they'll be on the receiving end of this hate.

Fuck them.

The only mistake Hardik did was leaving gt. But... Oh well.

you have to commend how exceptional rutu has been on the field this season. with the bat he is exactly in the right space with his consistent strike rate and consecutive 50s and that century as well. not too aggressive and not dreadfully mild either. smooth and steady. keeps losing tosses like it would wilt his hat to win and while fielding he's been more than reliable – has not dropped any catches that he shouldn't have dropped, is clear headed and active, takes Dhoni's advice and still does his own thing. he truly is the next best thing for csk captaincy after dhoni. whether we make it into the play offs or not, this is still a massive fuck you to the BCCI and a sparkling reassurance that the legacy of this gigantic, five times gilded team with the biggest, most dedicated fanbase ever; is still, trustably, in safe hands.

CSK is the Chennai Super Kings (cricket team) and they played in the Indian premier league finals yesterday and FUCKING WON WE WON WE GODDAMN WON WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS (5th title).

Basically we choose to bowl first and there was a point we thought we were done for when Gujarat Titans hit 214 (when a team gets above 200 they've always won and this is the highest score ever in an IPL final) and like yknow i was ready to fucking start sobbing cause chasing a score like that down is just insane

BUT THEN WE FUCKING DID IT WE FUCKING CHASED THAT SCORE DOWN. We goddamn won by 5 wickets we fucking won and we are the goddamn champions (why me and shey @balaclavacharles and basically every CSK fan are currently going insane and probably will be for a long long time). Also MS Dhoni (My king (CSK captain)) said he wasn't going to retire yet and also fucking Jadeja went insane and fucking served and goddamn and basically i love CSK and everyone in that team and i love life and i love sports and yeah

17th April 2023 Monday again a big match day between India's two legends representing their  teams Mahendra Singh Dhoni for Chennai Super Kings and Virat Kohli playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore. RCB next match is with four times champion Chennai Super Kings. CSK next match with RCB will be an important one for the team.  About Two Legends Legends, Superstars long time Colleagues, Mentor and protege, this Monday night in front they will face Rivals. Rivalry goes they  don't come bigger than this. Virat Kohli in the red and black corner  for his Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mahendra Singh Dhoni in yellow corner for his Chennai Super King. Both sides have an eye for this mega clash exactly  on the same place Chinnaswamy. This year in TATA IPL includes to wins and two losses out of 4 games played so far for both the teams. RCB cleanly build a hotspot win over Delhi capitals and the sequence of three straight home games win  with another W. Chennai Super Kings are coming on with the nail fighting loss against Rajasthan Royals at home CSK front up against their Southern Rivals determined to change the result. Kohli versus Dhoni all will be on the sub- block, hat will keep all the fans on the edge.

Ok so last post on this matter and then I'll hopefully shut up till the match tomorrow. It was inevitable, we all somewhere knew that Dhoni will step down as captain but let's be honest we all were in denial. It just seems so unreal, MS not being the skipper? Especially for CSK? Crazy. He also did it in the most Mahi-est way ever like he always does, quietly letting the CSK and IPL handle announce it, a literal day before the season begins and without any fuss or theatrics but yeah it won't be the same anymore. Not seeing him walking down at toss time or anticipating his post match with Harsha (that's what I'll miss the most ngl 🙈), it will be hard to digest. It's the end of era, the Dhoni-Rohit-Kohli era which was basically our childhood, it feels like yesterday when the holy trinity were captaining their respective teams and now no one is the captain anymore. But MSD will always be CSK's leader, he'll always be our Captain, our Thala and there's quite no one who'll be able to live upto his reputation and legacy. It is quiet understandable why he was so emotional during the finals last year, why he showed so much emotion when he is usually stoic because knowing him he already would've known that it was his last season as captain. His career has been a whole circle, he started as a long haired wicketkeeper-batsman and he'll end his career in the same way, his first trophy as a captain was a T20 cup and his last was also the same, but it would be all the things he did in between that'll define him, that'll be his legacy. And lastly huge congratulations to Ruturaj, we all knew that he will be our next captain and he'll also get the opportunity to work as a captain under MS which is a lot in itself. He has huge shoes to fill and it won't be easy in any possible way but we as CSK fans stand behind you Rutu, best of luck for the journey ahead 💛

Ravindra Jadeja has posted another cryptic remark on Twitter. The fans are quizzed after what Jadeja posted on Social Media after CSK vs GT IPL 2023 Qualifier 1.

While MS Dhoni is responsible for the outright dominance of Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League, the consistency showcased by the franchise stalwarts over the years is also another major reason. And when it comes to consistency, then only a few could compete with the utility and balance that Ravindra Jadeja has rendered to the team over the years. Jadeja is a prominent member of the CSK squad, however, off late Jaddu has been posting some cryptic messages on social media making fans speculate whether there is a tiff brewed between CSK and Jadeja.

Following last week's "Karma will get back at you.." Ravindra Jadeja has posted another cryptic message on social media, leaving the fans quizzed regarding who is these posts directed at. Jadeja, who took away the Most Valuable Asset award from the CSK vs GT Qualifier 1 used the award to transmit a statement that he believes some fans are sleeping on. Jadeja won the award after playing vital cameo innings of 22 runs, with the help of which CSK posted 172 on the board. CSK emerged victorious by 15 runs and via the victory reached the final of the IPL 2023. Chennai Super Kings will await the winner of Qualifier 2, where Gujarat Titans will play the winner of the MI vs GT eliminator. 

Ravindra Jadeja posts cryptic message on social media yet again

Some fans think Ravindra Jedaja is not happy in the Chennai Super Kings camp, whereas some think there is a tiff with MS Dhoni, however, nothing concrete can be stated as the player has been posting cryptic tweets off late. Jadeja wrote, "Upstox knows but....some fans don't". Here's the latest post by the CSK all-rounder.

Earlier, Jadeja Tweeted the following. The post also garnered attention on social media. and now another addition has caused further worry. Here's the post.

“When I bat at 7, the crowd is disappointed and chant for Mahi bhai. Imagine if I bat higher; they will just wait for me to get out,” Jadeja was quoted as saying in the post-match presentation ceremony after the match against Delhi Capitals. So, while Ravindra Jadeja seems irked with something/someone, what could it be is anybody's guess. And these posts only make the mystery deepen.
