Simple and fast Dio from @niuniente's comic "Death-Head's Deal". Dio was so UUUAAAHH in the last update! :D It was so nice to see so much of him!
Remember that DHD comic IS for ADULTS only! It contains violence, blood, gore, killing, suicide, drugs etc. dark themes! So it is NOT for young and / or sensitive people!

DHD Prompt: any au, dante realizing cisco has superpowers (+ talking about it for the first time?)
set during 1x16
Dante Ramon was not the kind of person who woke with the sun, or, if he could help it, before midmorning at best. Of course, being a hostage tied to a chair was not exactly conducive to anyone's sleep schedule. So he was awake, fidgeting in his ropes, when his little brother suddenly froze, still holding one of his tiny screwdrivers and the skeletal metal frame of what he'd promised their captors would be a weapon.
"Cisco," he hissed softly, not wanting to attract attention and also not wanting to get punched in the face again if Cisco stopped working and Snart noticed. "Cisco?"
Cisco dropped the screwdriver, falling backwards hard enough to trip on the chain connecting him to what had once been a mobster's desk, now a captive engineer's workbench. He clutched at his heart with both hands, clawing at the fabric of his sweat-through graphic tee. Dante thought he might scream, but his mouth just hung open, wordless.
"Cisco?" Dante asked again, more urgently, less concerned for himself. "What--did you shock yourself, or--" He didn't know the first thing about whatever it was Cisco was doing, but it had to have been dangerous.
Cisco blinked, still clutching at his chest, his breathing a harsh staccato in Dante's ears. "I--I--oh, dios mio, I--."
"What? What happened?" Dante switched to Spanish, just in case anyone was listening.
"I died," Cisco said in the same language. "I was dead, I...felt it. It was so real..."
Dante wanted to scoff a laugh at that. In any other circumstance, he would have. "What do you mean, you died? You're right here, and you gotta finish those things so we can get out of here."
Cisco stood, still wobbly. "I'm not..sure," he said, looking at his hands. "I...It's a theory. Oh god."
"What's a theory?" Dante asked.
"The accelerator. It affected people..."
"Yeah, like the Flash, I do watch the news sometimes."
"It affected people who were near it. They got powers...when they died."
"I'm sorry, what." Dante said, flat. "That's crazy. I can accept weird laser guns that shoot ice and whatever the hell the Flash is, but--"
"Ok, first of all, it's not a laser," Cisco said, "and I'm not going to explain the science of it because you literally could not understand it, and second of all that's where you suspend your disbelief? Really? Right there?"
"It's 9 am," Dante shot back, " and you're saying you just got resurrected."
"No, I.. I think it was... a vision. Of what was supposed to happen today. The Flash... changed time, uh, yesterday. Reset button. I think...none of this was supposed to happen."
"No shit, this isn't exactly how I like spending my nights," Dante said. "Or mornings. or any time of day."
"Shh, I have to think," Cisco said, going back to his tools. He gripped the tiny screwdriver tightly. Dante rolled his eyes.
"Ok, so you died. And what, your power is... having a vision of it?"
"I guess," Cisco said.
Dante clicked his tongue. "The Flash got superspeed, that one dude on the news could set himself on fire and fly, and you get to see... a past that didn't happen. Damn, sucks."
"That dude on the news is engaged to my friend, the one you were flirting with at your party," Cisco said. "And it's not the worst power."
"Not great, either," Dante said, deciding to ignore the part about flirting with a woman who’s fiance might be able to set him on an unfortunate amount of fire. "It's not going to get us out of here."
"Yeah, well that's what my engineering is for," Cisco snapped. "Will you shut up and let me think?"
Dante decided to shut up.
"What are you doing, chatting instead of working?" Snart asked, lumbering in in his stupid parka, even though it was March and the temperatures had been rising steadily. It hadn't even rained, much less snowed, in weeks. "This isn't social hour."
"Sorry," Cisco said quickly, "I'm working as fast as I can."
"Hm," Snart said, moving towards Dante. "Maybe, or maybe you're stalling. Trying to buy your speedster friend time to find you? Don't try to play me, kid. I told you what would happen if you did."
"Wait," Cisco said, voice rising in panic.
Dante braced for the blow.
There was a crash, a shattering of metal and wood and the thud of a body slamming into something solid, and Dante squinted his eyes open.
The desk was in what could only be described as shreds, splinters and fragments scattered across the room, and Snart, bleeding from the head, crumbled against the far wall directly under a dent in the wood paneling.
"Cisco, what the--"
"Ok, I think maybe it's not just visions?" Cisco said, his voice still high and startled. "Uh--" he worked his ankle free, the end of the chain no longer attached to anything, and stumbled over pieces of the 3D printer to reach Dante, something sharp in hand. He sawed through the ropes. "We gotta get out of here."
"You think?" Dante said, standing and regretting immediately. His legs felt like static, all pins and needles, but there was no time for that. "Where are we going?"
Cisco shook his head. "I don't know. Not home. And not STAR Labs."
"Why not?"
"Because that's where my boss killed me."

DHD Trivia
In the first comic with Aditi’s deal, Alrick has shoulder armor. I left them out in the 2nd story as I was planning to have Alrick give his jacket for Vanessa to stay warm and comforted, but it never happened. Since then Alrick has been without any armor.
Cat’s name was supposed to be just Cat, but Rena called her Catherine during the typing process.
I was supposed to draw only one comic with Alrick (the Aditi’s Deal), nothing more. But a new idea came to my mind, then a new one…
I want to keep Alrick’s and Lou-Lou friendship close and warm, as I believe in unconditional friendships between men and women.
Saint Killy’s hospital in 3rd story is a homage to Killy from the manga Blame!
Cat’s and Hagon children Serafia, Amanda, Anders and Viktor are named after my great-great-great grandparents and great-great grandparents.
The dress Cat is wearing in the 5th comic says GBH. Charged G.B.H is a British punk band, which started playing  in 1979 and still plays in 2022. Listen to G.B.H’s  album City Baby Attacked By Rats here.
While Dinky Sugar looks like the dancer from Caravan Palance’s “Lone Digger” music video, that was a pure coincidence. She was supposed to be just a passbying background character and nothing more.
Dinky Sugar’s name is a homage to Mossworm’s comic of a butterfly which says “Sippy. Drinky Sugar”. I ran into it while drawing Dinky’s story and it made me laugh so much. I love the comic and the butterfly!
Dinky means small in British English.
Joon’s honorific broidi to Alrick means a brother in South-Finnish slang. I’m certain he calls Death-Head women as systeri (sister with the same slang)
The women and how I draw them in story 6 are inspired by the softness, sensuality and roundness a mangaka Rumiko Takahashi uses in her art when drawing sexy women.
Aditi is wearing a wig as pure lizard people don’t grow hair.
Aditi is not inspired by Egyptian art, though she does look like one.
Aditi’s is a Hindi name meaning boundles, limitless or innocence. I found out after the first comic that Aditi is one of the Hindu goddesses. Goddess Aditi rules many things, like sky, fertility, earth, past and the future.
Viv is a fan of the TV series Princess Blue. It’s a homage to an Australian cartoon series Bluey, which I love to death. It’s genuinely a fun, happy mood series (with awesome voice acting!), where parents get involved with their daughters Bluey’s and Bingo’s plays (the same way Joon tends to play with his niece Viv).  Here’s a little snippet of Bluey’s family’s car trips.
Kahamet is based on a man in a grey suit and a black goat’s head I met in a dream in 2019. He introduced himself as Kahamet.
The Royal AOR Hotel in story 8 is a homage to my other character, A or R, from my comic FUZZY.
Alrick tells Rena that she’s the best boss he’s ever had, which implies he has had earlier DH-bosses prior to Rena.
Lou-Lou is pronounced like Luu-Luu. Luu in Finnish means a bone, so she’s basically Bone-Bone. Our own Moon-Moon haha! This is not intentional. I realized it months after Lou-Lou first appeared.
In story 9, the ship in the harbor is named かわいい (kawaii). I was learning hiragana the time I drew the comic.
The city behind the reporter in the beginning of story 10 is Helsinki. The early 18th century building behind her is one of my old working places.
This wasn’t intentional but there is an open pool near these buildings in Helsinki.
Pearl’s frustration with the divination’s message is based on my own experience with working with divination tools since age 16.
In my comic FUZZY, the protagonist Irene is a modern day seer and her surname is Pearl. DHD Pearl’s name is a small homage nod to Irene.
Pearl’s surname Helmi means a pearl in Finnish. So she’s Pearl Pearl.
DHD HQ manager Alyssee McRoth’s surname is a nod to my favorite comic, Sláine, as Sláine’s surname is MacRoth.
Algoth is named after a famous Finnish 1920′s smuggler Algoth Niska.
Dio is wearing the boots I had when I was a teenager.
Loid has the same piercings as I do on his left ear.
Loid first appeared in my short comic ARE, transferring from there to my other comic FUZZY, appearing as an antagonist in both stories. In FUZZY, he’s a magical being from Jotuni race, but in Death-Head’s Deal he’s a magician. Loid is a character who visits many projects of mine.
Loid’s name is an acronym from Idol, as I’m a big fan of Billy Idol.
Kaosa is also an acronym from Osaka, where I visit regularly.
Okupio, which Grimm suggests as a honeymoon trip target, is an acronym from Finnish city Kuopio, which is basically my home area.
Kizzie is based on an 1950′s American actress Mamie van Doren.
Despite Kizzie being a singer, she’s got social anxiety in group gatherings, especially if she needs to do sports. That’s my unfortunate(?) trait, too.
Kizzie’s brother Remy is based on a model Mighty Moustache. I designed his hair a bit after Mass Effect Andromeda character Reyes Vidal, who is my favorite Mass Effect character and romance option.
Remy’s small Aries sign tattoo is my astrological sign.

Calvo me hace reír, Mariana me fascina.

All Death-Head's Deal Ugly Christmas Sweaters are now done! The missing characters here, like Alrick's flower shop neighbor Felina, Tony and North's duo Bella Ella and Frank Kain don't have colored character sheets yet. Maybe we'll see them next year in ugly sweaters?

The story how Grimm and Pearl ended up into a marriage continues, this time from Grimm’s perspective. We have seen Pearl’s worries about Grimm but not Grimm’s worries and concerns yet. I’m happy Dio decided to share something about himself, too.
Read this episode Grimm x Pearl - Forlorn from Webtoons. Tap the mobile screen to remove the bar if its on the way. Read all Death-Head’s Deal comic in Webtoons or in Tumblr! All links are in my profile’s pinned post.

Character Sheets - Dio
I’m a bit surprised that Dio is brown but I like it :3
Dio
Dio is the 2nd in command in the East Faction, being Rena’s trusted hand.
He and Rena go to the same gym, sometimes training together.
He doesn’t speak much, especially if he doesn’t know you well.
Originally Dio served in the North Faction under Grimm’s command but applied for a transfer to east due family reasons.
Because of his roots in the North, he asked for a special permission to keep his North Faction face paint. Rena approved this.
Dio has got the boots I owned when I was 19 (with some minor tweaks).
Before I drew Dio, I knew there was a big man, maybe a lizard, serving in the East and that his name is Dio. He is the only character who had a name first and looks later.
Dio was the one who helped Alrick behind Rena’s and HQ’s backs when Alrick needed to make an illegal deal with Dio. Dio was also the one who punished Alrick for breaking the Death-Head rules.

“That car belongs to us ❤️” with the selfie was SO FUNNY it had me cackling!
I’m excited to see where this arc is going! Is Cat’s deal somehow connected with…whatever it is that Plague is doing? I’m looking forward to finding out more about Cure and what she thinks of her situation!
That's the dream I had lol. Their car got stolen and how Alrick got it back was that he took a selfie with crumby Dio and sent it to Dio's phone with a message "That car belongs to us". The thieves got scared and immediately returned the car.
Cat's deal is her own one and since it's a big group she's helping, Dio and Alrick will give her a bit of a hand as her assistants. While we have seen mainly individual deals, Death-Heads can work as a group and ask help from one another if needed. I think the only time we've seen this so far was when Dio was still working in North Faction and helped Grimm with Mr. Singer's deal.
It also seems that if a superior is needed on the field, Dio will go and let Rena handle office work and other boss businesses in peace.
Plague is handling his own individual shit in the South. You'll learn more about Cure, too, as this part of the story continues. I have to do bit of a Primm here, aka update the story in a few parts instead of going for single episodes.

Out of the new chapter, I feel bad for Dio... he needs a better password on his phone or an intimidating lock screen.
He does! Maybe he's not very good with technology?

I like Dio. I like how Plague saying he doesn’t mess with East because he’s there is a good enough explanation and he won’t hesitate to cut out some tongues. And yet despite how terrifying he is, he also gives me a lot of “Sundays are for cooking dinner with mother” vibes.
Dio is like a famous mobster boss you don't want to mess with but how dare you disrespect your own mother!
Dio did change his faction from North to East to be closer to his mom so Sheryl doesn't have to take care of her alone. I don't know yet if Sheryl is Dio's sister, aunt or cousin (or something else). My guess is that she's a sister :3

I went to read Dio's character info post and you had written that you knew that there's a DH called Dio, without any idea who he was yet. Amazing how his reputation precedes even to the creator of the comic! :D
Haha, tell me about it! Took me a little while to meet him but I'm glad he showed himself :3
People have asked if Dio is named after Jojo's Bizarre Adventure's Dio or the band DIO but no. He literally just informed that he exists and his name is Dio.

I kind of like that Dio turned out to be the big silent type. It suits him 👌👌
It really does!
