the fact that during the fight wemmbu did not hit derap once even when he just killed wemmbus teammate and he immediately backed off of pangi after finding out that pangi was on deraps side.

and the fact that even when kab wanted revenge by killing pangi, wemmbu said okay but can we yap first (this guy does not lore yap)

and continued to refuse to kill pangi even when kab was asking him for help, saying that she could take this fight (kab has dropped to 5 heart bacon MULTIPLE times)

im genuinely so interested in derapchus and wemmbus dynamic cos this guy is not known for being loyal AT ALL so this is lwk hilarious

Every time Zam opens up about his mindset and explains why he is the way he is to Kab, the very next conversation she uses that information for her own selfish gain.

Just like. It's subconscious more than purposeful I think. Just given how she says it. But it is a facet of her inner reality that any information she gains she uses for herself and to help herself and she acts as if anyone's small kindness or compassion towards her plight is a blood oath of protection, help, and teaming.

I only just got here but the Derapchu and Wemmbu dynamic is so interesting like, Derap’s immediate response to Wemmbu’s death is to bust out all the resources he’s been safe guarding to make revival beacons so he can bring Wemmbu and only Wemmbu back. He says himself that he’s been able to revive people for a while but he hasn’t until Wemmbu. He’a supposedly doing this for closure but with how Wemmbu is one of only two people he trusts with his life I think he knows he’s going to miss him and the safety he’s provided even if they’re not actually on a team anymore
