ughhhh i have so much to say abt how cishet people (but especially men) within the streaming space are only comfortable rping queer relationships and queer characters bc they don't think of it as real. they often treat this sort of rp as a joke, whether it is intentional or not, in how they put on a mocking "gayccent" & flirt in overly sexual ways for shock value & turn around to act shocked, and even OFFENDED at the mere prospect that anyone watching would Actually think they're gay bc OBVIOUSLY they're not. bc it's just a joke, right?
