still thinking about how Taash is the only companion written by Trick Weekes and apparently her Deluxe Edition weapon is labeled Grief and in the promo picture with the whole gang she was the only one looking at the camera and how out of all the companions she is the one we know the most little about. no chapter in Tevinter Nights. no cameo in the comics. just enigmatic silence.

Another thing what is bothering me in veilguard is writer's laziness. They just take things from real world and place them in Thedas without even trying to adapt. Non-binary and how Taash loves to say it is a meme already, but what is also bothers me is khachapuri.

It's a very specific food, Georgian dish, which is popular mostly in these regions. Tevinter is heavily based on ancient Rome and Byzantium, so what is khachapuri doing there? Why not call it something like "tevinter's cheese boat" or something like that, why use very specific food name? Just imagine if there would be pelmeni (yes, exactly this word) in Free Marches simply because writers wanted to add exotic. Would it be stupid? Yes. And same with khachapuri.

Can they add khachapuri? Of course. But there's same with non-binary, the whole bunch of genders in Taash's notes and coffeeshops: they need to adapt this. To implement it into world, not just throw it and pretend it sound completely fine and not differ from atmosphere

and btw, khinkali are better, bioware have no taste in food
