Okay just some thoughts about  @moa-broke-me​ ‘s latest reblog about Jason’s villainous scenario.

I’m all for Nico and Jason against the world. But just halt and look at the first option. Have you ever thought of, idk, Jason being Luke to Nico’s Percy?

In the unfortunate event that Jason turns antagonist, that is. Aside from Piper and Leo, Nico might be the only one who gets a chance against. Because Jason would fight Percy anyday without a reason

As in. The one you holds close is straying further away from you and you don’t know if you can stand agaisnt them? And it would be so, so much worse because Jason is important to Nico on like. a spiritual level or something. Obviously more than their counterparts.

In the event that Jason turns villain because of Nico thoug? Have you ever considered how horrible it would be to Nico? The irony in and of itself. Can you fight the one who you hold dear and holds you dear in kind, knowing that you are the reason they strayed? Can you live?

And unlike Luke, Jason would never want to hurt Nico. And that, lemme tell you, only serves to make it so much harder for Nico to fight him. It’s the guilty feelings, the “I don’t want to do this,” the hope that maybe I can still bring Jason back turns into shackles that holds him down. That kindness would be a weakness at that time. If you��re anything kind, you wouldn’t want to fight something who doesn’t want to fight you. 

What hinders Percy was his loyalty. And Nico has the same thing, you know?

Love. Whatever kind that is.

Can we talk about how Karen definitely has some sort of PTSD because you can't just wake up one day with a knife and bloody hands and a dead coworker on your carpet one and then be fine. You don't get arrested and then almost strangled to death while in custody and be fine. You don't get kidnapped and threatened and then kill someone in self defense and be fine.

Oh my god can we PLEASE talk about Karen and her trauma oh my GOD.

My favourite part of Steve driving Robin everywhere is the fact that he’s been doing it for most of a year before he even finds out she can’t drive

He doesn’t question why she doesn’t get a car. He doesn’t let her bike or walk to school even though Family Video isn’t open yet and he doesn’t need to be up. He doesn’t even wonder about it without saying anything

He’s just like we’re besties, of course we go everywhere together and almost a year later Robin’s like ???? I assumed you knew that was why I need rides??? Why did you never ask if you didn’t know, you absolute dingus???

My second favourite thing is that in season 3, Robin had the conversation about how Steve was such a douche in high school and how he’d always come in late to the class he didn’t even remember them having together and Steve went from that being one of the major negatives about him that made Robin think he was such a self-absorbed asshole and Steve didn’t try to defend it at all, he just mentally went okay, well I’m going to care more about getting Robin to school on time than I ever cared about getting myself there on time

Oh ok. I get now why a lot of people didn't vibe with the ending.

All and all: excellent manga, overall very good final act, too rushed final 2-3 chapters but weak and honestly mediocre epilogue, which makes the high of the ending kind of leave a bitter taste. I think Noda had a good steed and suddenly he had to finish and had to rush all. So the ending in the sense of the final arc was good but the ending proper (final couple chapters) + epilogue......... Not so much

sometimes letting your sylvari commanders run around tyria when they're only a few months old leads to them making poor choices like alienating their best friend, joining not one but two villainous organisations while trying to save the world, getting stabbed in the back multiple times, once with rotsap, and contracting a chronic illness from it before they actually become commander
