It was essentially a onesie, complete with bunny ears on the hood, with a tailcoat worn over it. But Neil’s unit were throwing a costume party that Halloween, DCI Fitzjames had thought it might help morale, and Billy’s invitation was not to be taken lightly. They hadn’t declared their relationship, so to show up as Neil’s plus one was both deeply validating and incredibly risky.
