DP x DC Prompt #4
When they all convene at the cave, Alfred is silently wrapping Dick's knuckles. Damian hovers beside him. Tim and Barbara are hunched over the batcomputer, not even sparing Bruce a glance as he strides over.
"Report," Batman grunts. No one reacts.
"Report!"
"Hood pushed his panic button at 2:34 AM," Barbara says shortly, straightening.
The button had been a joke, mostly because Jason would never use it and everyone knew it.
"I patched into his comm at 2:35. This is what I heard initially." At her nod, Tim presses play. What occurs next is a garble. There is the sound of high winds, as if Hood is rushing through the air, even though the comms are designed to filter out any ambiance otherwise the Bats would never hear each other. Interspersed is a mixture of static punctuated by high, inhuman screeches of metal and something else unknown.
"This goes on," Barbara says after thirty long seconds, switching it off. "Red Hood failed to respond to any attempts at contact. I dispatched Nightwing to Hood's location at 2:36 AM. He was approximately two miles away." She pulls up a GPS map of their respective locations, their beacons blinking.
"At 2:41 AM, Red Hood's comm goes off, as does his GPS," Barbara says, swallowing softly as the red beacon indicating Jason disappears. "Nightwing arrives at 2:42 AM."
Dick doesn't say anything, head hanging low as he grips the metal table he sits on. Damian glances between the two of them, expression flat but fists clenched.
"Nightwing, report."
"..."
"Scene was empty, B," Tim speaks up. "No trace of Hood, no sign of a struggle. No cameras in the alley. We've been checking the ones nearby but so far there's no sign of anyone but Hood heading in that direction...and no one, Hood included, caught in the cams heading out, not within that time frame."
"So he's still in the area," Batman concludes. "The local buildings?"
"All the entrances have cameras, which showed no evidence of Hood nor any evidence of being tampered with," Barbara says. "Nightwing, Red Robin and Robin canvased within a half mile radius to check for any signs of disturbances in any of the windows or rooftops but found no evidence to support Hood being taken. A scan confirmed several serial offenders, but when interviewed and searched there was no sign of Hood. Several in the area reported an unusual quiet for Crime Alley."
Batman forces the next question out. "Did you check the dumpsters?"
"Yes," Nightwing grits out. "Empty."
Barbara clears her throat. "I have attempted to reconnect to Jason's GPS and comm as well as restart both remotely but there's no signal at all. The thing is, when there's a disruption like that it usually leaves some sort of sign" she pulls up the audio waves, pointing at the end where the spikes conform into a straight line that makes everyone deeply uncomfortable. Upon playing, the noise from before plays before going abruptly silent. "But there is no large spike, this is clean. It just ends. His GPS is much the same. It's not off, it's just gone."
"I know you don't like to hypothesize this early on, B, but we think this involves a meta," Tim says, rewinding the audio. "We've been running the audio from Jason's comm through different filters, playing with the levels and isolating what we can and, well, take a listen--"
The screeching drops to a sort of muffle and in the background, distantly, they can hear bits of Jason's voice.
"No, I'm not---"
"--don't need--"
"get AWAY from--"
a particularly desperate yell that makes Tim flinch, "I am NOT--!"
and almost a whimper that makes Batman's blood run cold, "please..."
And then, unfairly clear even through the faint garble, Jason says "I don't have a choice, do I."
And a minute later, quietly: "Ok."
The audio cuts off.
The defeat in Jason's last words is palpable, and fundamentally wrong. Jason has never sounded defeated a day in his life, and no one knows how to process Red Hood all but giving his hands over for the cuffs. Nightwing pushes himself off the table.
"I'm going back out there," he growls. No one tries to stop him as he stalks out the cave, not even Alfred.
"I will accompany Nightwing, make sure he does not punch any more walls." Damian says, nodding tightly.
"B?" Barbara asks.
"Keep working on it. See if you can identify what could be making those noises if Hood was standing still in an alley," Batman says, walking towards the zeta tube. "I'm going to make a few calls."

Don't be a smug asshole!
Not everybody knows that.
Remamber all the times Batso did his disppearing parlor trick with Superman present and he seems as baffled as Gordon or any other human like it was magic or something? Writers have a very selective memory and remember things as they see convenient or not. That time Supes said "I didn't know you were in the building" and Bruce smugly answered "You are not supposed to" Oh yes, Bruce, he is.
Writers from DC Comics, listen: Superman has hypersenses. He can hear a fly taking a shit in the underground garage being on the rooftop of a skyscraper. If Superman can hear Lane's beatng heart (yes, folks, she supposedly has one) halfway across the Globe, he can hear Batso leaving the room at any given moment. He even knows when Bruce squeezes a fart, no matter how well the bat conceals it.. Don't come to me with the "Okay, but he wasn't paying attention at the time. Batso knows this" bullshit. Superman is paying attention to everything, so he can prevent and avoid danger coming to himself and to others, if not...what's the f..ing point? He can filter the backgrownd noise and isolate and focus on the one he needs, while still being aware of any other disturbances.
Is like the times he seems amazed and excited riding on a rollercoaster, with the sudden ups and downs...Guys, guys...the man can fly. Faster than a speeding bullet. Change directions on a dime, in a split second without even messing with his hairdo.
Human writers need to remember that is not the way to make Kal look more human, it only makes you look more like stupid humans. You are only human and have human limitations, many. Superman does not. If you cancel Superman's powers to accomodate to your lame story requirements, why giving him superpowers at all?
One of the many writers in the "Star Trek: The Next Generation" series staff (I think it was Brannon Braga) once said "I won't let tradition interfere with my story" when asked why he didn't observe and openly contradicted the vast background the series had on one particular subject. That's not how it works, I'm afraid.
Writers: your story will probably be forgotten next week. Sorry: that's the fate of episodic writing. You'll never be Hemingway. The character, hopefully, will continue and endure the damage you are inflicting upon it to serve your egos.
While I am grateful for the many good stories that had me entertained throughout the years, they are not a sign of your importance: they are a sign of how great the character is. And you have to respect that importance. If you can't, Try some other discipline. Knit sweaaters or something if it is too big for you.

Yandere! Kurt Wagner who... since the first night on the rooftop, under that blanket of stars, felt you as a blessing fallen from the sky. At first, his interest seemed innocent, a special connection between two misunderstood souls in the X-Mansion. Every time they shared those silent nights watching the sky, Kurt started to feel that you were his anchor, his reason to smile in a world full of chaos. "It's so peaceful here with you" he told you one night, with undeniable tenderness in his voice. But within his chest, a darker feeling began to take root.
Yandere! Kurt Wagner who... at first just wanted to see you happy. When he suddenly appeared in the places where you were, like in the library or the dining room, his eyes shone at the sight of your smile. However, he soon realized that he didn't want to share those moments with anyone else. The joy that surrounded you when you were with Rogue, Kitty, or Bobby disturbed him. "Why them?" he thought, increasingly distressed. They didn't understand your soul like he did. They didn't see the same angel in you that he saw. So he began to teleport secretly to watch you from the shadows, making sure you were safe... and ensuring that no one else got too close.
Yandere! Kurt Wagner who... began to stalk you silently from the walls of the Mansion, watching you when you thought you were alone. At first, he just wanted to ensure that you were safe, but soon he discovered that simply seeing you in your everyday moments, without you knowing he was there, became an addiction. From the shadows, he watched as you sat at your desk, reading or writing in your diary, how you groomed yourself in front of the mirror, or laughed carefree with your new friends. Everything you did was perfect; every little gesture was a work of art that he could not stop contemplating. It was his way of being close to you, of being present in every second of your life.
Yandere! Kurt Wagner who... one rainy afternoon saw you dozing in the common room, exhausted from training. While the others chatted, Kurt, hidden in the shadows, watched you with eyes full of devotion, completely still to avoid revealing his presence. The others didn't notice his proximity, but he felt every breath you took, every slight movement of your lips as you dreamed. "You are a fallen angel from heaven," he thought, his fingers trembling with the desire to get closer, but holding back. That distance, that invisible gap, drove him crazy, but it also filled him with ecstasy. Knowing that only he could see you that way, vulnerable and peaceful, made him feel that he belonged to you more than anyone else.
Yandere! Kurt Wagner who... one night, while you were showering in the Mansion's bathroom, teleported to a dark corner, just to see you through a crack in the wall. The water droplets slid down your skin; every movement of your body was a living poem that only he could read. He felt his breath hitch, and although he knew this was wrong, he couldn't stop. In his mind, he was there to protect you, to ensure that nothing harmed you, not even in those intimate moments. "No one will see you like I do," he whispered to himself. "No one will love you like I love you."
Yandere! Kurt Wagner who... lurked in the shadows, watching how you talked and laughed with your friends in the dining room. From the walls, hidden, jealousy boiled within him as another mutant, a boy who had invited you to train with him, made you smile. Every smile you gave to someone else felt like a stab. From his corner, Kurt whispered words that no one else could hear, "They don't understand you, my Engel. Not like I do." In his mind, those moments you shared with others were thefts, emotional burglaries that took away what was his.
Yandere! Kurt Wagner who... in the darkest nights, watched you sleep, sitting on the edge of the bed, his shadow barely visible in the dimness of the room. He called you his "Angel," but in his darkest thoughts, you knew that this love was a prison. Every night, he whispered words of eternal love, words that sounded like promises and threats at the same time. "I will never let you go, Mein Schatz" he repeated, and although his words were sweet, there was a darkness behind them that enveloped you in a sense of impending danger, as if you were trapped in a corrupt fairy tale, where the prince would never let his princess escape.
Yandere! Kurt Wagner who... one fateful night, after seeing you laugh with another, could no longer contain his frustration. He teleported to your friend's room, just a few seconds after he turned off the lights. In the shadows, Kurt watched him sleep, his breath heavy and innocent. "You are not worthy of her," he murmured before disappearing into the night, leaving a sense of unease in the air, as if the walls had whispered his condemnation.
Yandere! Kurt Wagner who... one early morning slipped into your room while you were sleeping. He stood by your bed, watching you in the soft glow of the moon that filtered through the window. You looked so at peace, so pure. Kurt couldn't help but lean in, and gently, he brushed his fingers close to your hair, without actually touching you. His breath was almost inaudible, but his eyes were filled with a feverish intensity. "You are mine, Liebling" he whispered almost inaudibly, the words floating in the air like an eternal promise. As he disappeared from your room, his heart beat with a dark satisfaction.
Yandere! Kurt Wagner who... began leaving small gifts in your room, things he knew would make you happy, but without revealing they were from him. A book you mentioned wanting to read, a mysteriously fresh blue flower on your pillow, all carefully planned to make you feel special. When you asked the others if they had left anything for you, Kurt, smiling in the shadows, delighted in the idea that these invisible gestures were his way of slowly possessing you, without you knowing.
Yandere Kurt Wagner who... on one occasion, while training with Logan, stayed watching from the upper beams of the gym, his body pressed against the shadows of the ceiling. The way Logan corrected your movements or guided you made him boil inside. In his mind, every touch was a transgression, every word an attempt to pull you away from him. "Don't let them confuse you, my angel," he thought as his claws dug into the steel structure, holding back. "No one else has the right to you... only I do." His obsession intensified with each passing day. "He doesn't understand you like I do." Although you tried to calm him, something in his eyes made you feel uneasy for the first time.
Yandere Kurt Wagner who... didn't take long to act when another of your training partners, a young man with powers similar to yours, began to spend more time with you. The boy seemed nice, and you enjoyed his company, but Kurt couldn't stand it. He started to watch every one of his movements, making sure he wasn't a threat to you... or to him. One night, he simply disappeared. The entire Mansion searched for him in vain, but Kurt already knew the truth. "You are safe now, Schatz" he told you softly as he hugged you by the shoulders. You didn't need that boy, or anyone else, just him.
Yandere! Kurt Wagner who... decided that the only way to fully protect you was to take you away from the Mansion. Genosha became the only option. "We can be together there, away from the complications," he whispered to you every time you mentioned how overwhelming life in the X-Mansion could be. The idea began to echo in your mind, especially when you saw the intensity in his eyes. He was convincing, his promises of a paradise where you could live peacefully and safely. Finally, you accepted his proposal, wanting a new beginning, unaware that this decision would tie you to Kurt in ways you could never have imagined.
Yandere! Kurt Wagner who... in Genosha, became your constant shadow. No matter where you went or who you wanted to talk to, Kurt always found a way to be present. "This place is just for us" he would say as they walked along the island's beaches, his tail possessively wrapping around your waist. Though the surroundings were beautiful, you felt increasingly isolated. Kurt's gazes, once sweet and full of adoration, now seemed to hold a shadow you couldn't identify. Every time you tried to socialize with the mutants on the island, Kurt intervened somehow, diverting conversations or simply taking you away with a gentle smile.
Yandere! Kurt Wagner who... little by little, began to isolate you from the rest. You couldn't have friends in the city, and every time you planned something with the few friends you made, he found a reason for you to spend the day with him. Every time you wanted to go out exploring, he suggested a walk along the deserted beach. "The world here is safer," he said with that sweet smile you trusted so much, while his tail lovingly curled around your waist. You never suspected that those little moments of isolation were part of his plan to have you all to himself.
Yandere Kurt Wagner who... when Logan came to visit you, knew that danger was near. Logan wasn't stupid; he had noticed the change in you and suspected that Kurt was the reason. "You shouldn't be so far away, girl. Something doesn't smell right," he told you, looking at you with a mixture of sternness and paternal concern. Kurt was there, close, watching silently. That night, when Logan said goodbye, Kurt hugged you tighter than usual. "I won't let him take you away, my angel," he whispered in your ear. Logan had an accident soon after that visit, and although he survived, something in his attitude changed. He stopped insisting.
Yandere! Kurt Wagner who... despite everything, gave you moments of sweetness. He took care of you, spoiled you, and showered you with affection. In his eyes, everything he did was out of love, for your protection. "We are together, my angel, and we always will be, Liebling" he would say to you every night, wrapping you in his arms as the stars shone above you both, just like at the beginning. Although the weight of his devotion sometimes suffocated you, you couldn't help but feel a strange mix of relief and resignation. Life with Kurt was a gilded cage, a soft prison made of obsessive love.
Yandere! Kurt Wagner who... although his love was overwhelming, sickly, and obsessive, beneath it all there was a disturbing tenderness. Kurt saw you as his salvation, his redemption in a cruel world. But also, without realizing it, you had become his prison of love. He loved you so much that he couldn't let you go free, but in his twisted mind, this was the right thing to do. "My Engel... together forever," he whispered to you on those starry nights, as the obsessive love he felt, lurking and protective, became the only possible fate.

A/N ─── Personally, even though it's short, I'm completely okay with it. I adore Kurt! He's such a sweetheart when he’s not yandere, of course 💕. His sweetness, his attentive nature, and his unwavering faith make him irresistible. He’s the kind of person who would say things like Liebling or Schatz with that warm and shy look that melts hearts. Although when he becomes yandere, everything gets a little... intense, to say the least.
Liebling - Dear, darling
Schatz - Treasure
Engel - Angel
Mein Schatz - My treasure
If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Solar photovoltaics
Solar Photovoltaics (PV) is the conversion of light energy from the sun into electrical energy using photovoltaic cells. These cells are made from semiconductor materials, typically silicon, that absorb sunlight and release electrons, creating an electric current. Solar PV is a renewable energy source that has gained significant traction in recent years due to its numerous advantages. Here are the key aspects of solar photovoltaics:Components of a Solar PV System:• Solar panels: These panels contain multiple photovoltaic cells connected electrically. They are typically made from tempered glass, a protective layer, and a silicon cell layer encapsulated for weatherproofing.• Inverter: Converts the direct current (DC) c produced by the solar panels into alternating current (AC) electricity, which is the type of electricity used in homes and businesses.• Mounting system: The framework that supports and secures the solar panels on a rooftop or designated area.• Balance of system (BOS): Additional components like wiring, conduit, isolator switches, monitoring equipment, and safety devices. How Solar PV Works:1. Sunlight strikes the solar panels2. The photovoltaic cells in the panels absorb the sunlight.3. Electrons are freed within the silicon cells, generating direct current (DC) electricity.4. The DC electricity travels through wires to the inverter.5. The inverter converts the DC electricity into AC electricity.6. The AC electricity can then be used to power your home or business appliances or fed back into the grid.Benefits of Solar Photovoltaics:• Renewable Energy Source: Solar energy is a clean and sustainable source of energy that doesn't produce greenhouse gasses or harmful emissions.• Reduced Electricity Bills: By generating your electricity, you can significantly reduce your dependence on the traditional grid, lowering your electricity costs.• Increased Property Value: Homes with solar PV systems often have higher market values.• Low Maintenance: Solar PV systems require minimal maintenance.• Government Incentives: Many governments offer financial incentives, such as tax credits or rebates, to encourage the adoption of solar energy.Applications of Solar Photovoltaics:• Rooftop Solar Systems: The most common application, generating electricity for homes and businesses.• Utility-Scale Solar Power Plants: Large-scale solar farms generate electricity for distribution across the power grid.Off-Grid Systems: Providing electricity for remote locations where the grid connection is unavailable. Advantages of an Enphase Microinverter System
A microinverter system offers a longer warranty period than traditional string inverters. They are also an excellent choice for customers with shaded or low irradiance areas as they increase energy production.
Enphase micro inverters are optimised for compatibility with various solar panel models and brands. This flexibility allows for a more efficient system overall.
Easy to Install
No matter how enphase microinverter clean your panels are, wear and tear, and temperature differences will eventually cause them to operate at different levels of efficiency. With microinverters, you can minimize the effect of module mismatch to maximize your energy production.
Tumblr media
Enphase microinverters convert the DC power from your solar panel into the AC electricity that feeds your home and appliances, even in shaded conditions. That means you’ll get a better ROI than with a traditional string inverter system.
In addition to allowing you to monitor your solar system at the panel level, enphase microinverters also help make sure that your roof is safe for your family and friends. By isolating low-voltage DC from the PV modules, our microinverters ensure that your rooftop does not become an electrical shock hazard in the event of an accident. This is because first responders can safely disconnect the AC grid without coming into contact with high voltage DC on the roof.
Easy to Scale
Unlike string inverters, microinverters make it easy to add panels or even solar batteries as energy needs evolve. They also provide increased production, even in shaded conditions. Because each panel has its own microinverter, equipment failures are isolated, and power is not lost.
Enphase IQ8 microinverters are compatible with bifacial PV modules, as long as their front side electrical parameters are within the range for microinverter input. This is particularly important for applications where backup power is desired.
Using the Envoy monitoring app, you can see real-time performance data from each microinverter. You can view the status of each individual module and the entire system, as well as manage alerts and receive notifications. The IQ8 also supports module level rapid shutdown and production optimization. You should always use an AHJ-approved AC disconnect safety switch to separate AC power from the grid and PV modules.
Enhanced Monitoring
Enphase microinverters offer a more complete monitoring solution than regular string inverters. They can be installed with panel-level monitoring to alert solar installers of under-performing panels. This helps prevent wasted energy and ensures all customers get the maximum benefit from their investment.
The IQ System Controller 2 integrates solar, battery storage and backup power into one compact aesthetic enclosure for easier installation and enhanced system performance. It also enables consumption monitoring, also known as energy usage monitoring (EUM), to prioritise power to critical loads in the event of a grid outage.
IQ 7 series microinverters convert 97 percent of the DC energy from your solar panels into AC power for your appliances. They are an excellent choice for installation sites with low irradiance and partial shading and offer higher efficiencies and longer warranties than central inverters.
15-Year Warranty
Unlike the competition, solaredge inverters is one of the few that offers a 15-year parts warranty. This is a great benefit that can help you choose Enphase over other competitors if the pricing is similar.
The IQ8 microinverter converts DC energy from solar panels into grid-compliant AC power. It is designed to work with Enphase’s new battery storage system, the IQ Battery, which is a fully integrated system that maximizes energy harvest, increases reliability and simplifies installation and management.
It also has fast computing rates to respond to added or removed electrical demands in as little as 20 ns. This is a major advantage over other competing products that use slow DC-to-AC conversion.
Most equipment manufacturers do not cover the labor costs associated with uninstalling and reinstalling repaired or replacement equipment. However, Enphase does cover these costs with their IQ Battery warranty if they determine that the claim is justified. This is a significant benefit that can significantly reduce the cost of ownership.

So the practical answer here is: Batman Beyond exists in the DCAU, the universe where the Batman the Animated Series/The New Adventures of Batman & Robin, The Justice League/Unlimited, Superman the Animated Series, and Static Shock cartoons all take place. In the DCAU, the only sidekicks Bruce had as Batman are Dick, Tim, and Babs.
Tim shows up in the Return of the Joker movie.
Dick is more complicated. They Gesture Vaguely at him (at one point Terry borrows a suit from Bruce, looks at the label, and asks "Who's 'DG'?"), but he never actually gets to make a real appearance. Because of DC corporate.
At the time, Dick Grayson was one of several characters under what they called a "character embargo". Basically, certain characters weren't allowed to appear in more than one property at a time, the justification being that it could "confuse" younger kids. Because Batman Beyond was running at the same time as TNA, which featured Dick as a recurring character, Batman Beyond wasn't allowed to use him at all.
This was also true for JLU, which was running at the same time as TeenTitans. Roy Harper/Speedy/Red Arrow, who was not embargoed, made an appearance helping out Green Arrow; and Wally West/Kid Flash/Flash, who also wasn't embargoed, was a founding member of the DCAU League. But Dick only ever appears as blink-and-you'll-miss-it background cameos, because he was already appearing in Teen Titans.
It's actually kind of sad, in-universe. If you take the DCAU canon as a whole at face value, the embargo accidentally created a Dick Grayson who's the polar opposite of comics!Dick. He had no Teen Titans (the cartoon doesn't technically exist in the DCAU), he never met the Supers, he has nothing to do with the Justice League. Comics!Dick is referred to all the time as a lone cornerstone, the one person in the superhero community who everyone knows, trusts, and respects. DCAU!Dick, on the other hand, is the single most isolated character in his universe. Tim and Babs have teamed up with the Supers, Tim teamed up with Static, and literally every other superhero that exists did at least a stint in the Justice League. Except for Dick, who was barely in Gotham working with the rest of the Bats for a couple of years before moving to Bludhaven and after the flashback events of RotJ, cut off contact completely, implied by Babs.
Comics!Dick is the person people call when they need to get in contact with as many superheroes as possible and rally them to fight together.
Meanwhile the closest DCAU!Dick had come to interacting with a non-Bat was watching Black Canary drive into Bludhaven from a rooftop.
DCAU!Dick is quite literally the loneliest Dick in the multiverse.
But yes, they did remedy this when they adapted Batman Beyond to the comics universe.
I kinda feel bummed out that Dick, Jason, Tim, Stephanie, Cass or Damian isn't in Batman; Beyond
I love Terry as a character, but where Bruce's other kids at😭😭😭

Microinverters Are A Vital Component in Modern Solar System Installations, Offering Numerous Benefits That Contribute to Higher Energy Production
Regardless of the solar system installed, an inverter is required, as they are responsible for converting the sun’s rays into electricity, by converting DC (direct current), generated from the solar panels, into AC (alternating current), which is the power used by appliances in the home.
As technology improves, microinverters on solar systems are becoming increasingly popular. On shaded or non-ideal rooftops, microinverters are the inverter of choice to replace centralised string inverters. Microinverters host a range of benefits, and the most crucial advantage being that if a fault were to arise, the problem is limited to a single panel rather than the entire system, hence, the system will still be able to function and provide renewable energy to the home or business
As the demand for solar installations grows, so does the need for efficient and cost-effective components to maximize energy production. One crucial element in any solar system installation is the microinverter.
One of the primary reasons why microinverters are essential in solar installations is their ability to maximize energy harvest. Traditional string inverters connect multiple solar panels in a series, which means that the performance of the entire string is limited by the weakest panel.
In contrast, microinverters are installed on each individual solar panel, converting DC (direct current) into AC (alternating current) power at the source. This allows each panel to operate independently, ensuring that shading, dirt, or panel degradation on one module does not significantly affect the entire system's performance. As a result, microinverters can improve overall system efficiency and increase energy production.
Microinverters offer enhanced reliability compared to string inverters. In a string inverter setup, if one panel in the string fails or underperforms, it can impact the entire array's output. Microinverters mitigate this risk by isolating individual panels, reducing the chances of a single point of failure. This redundancy increases the overall system's reliability and reduces the maintenance and repair costs over the lifetime of the solar installation.
Microinverters come equipped with advanced monitoring capabilities, allowing homeowners and installers to track the performance of each solar panel in real-time. This level of granularity provides valuable insights into the system's health, enabling prompt detection of issues such as shading, dust accumulation, or malfunctioning panels.
Safety is a paramount concern in solar installations, and microinverters offer several advantages in this regard. Since microinverters operate at lower DC voltage levels, they reduce the risk of electrical hazards during installation and maintenance. In addition, they include built-in safety features like rapid shutdown capabilities, which allow first responders to deactivate the system in case of an emergency.
Microinverters provide scalability and flexibility in solar system installations. With traditional string inverters, adding or removing panels from the system can be complex and may require modifications to the existing wiring. In contrast, microinverter-based systems can easily accommodate changes in the number of solar panels.
Aesthetics are a significant consideration for many homeowners when it comes to solar installations. Microinverters contribute to a cleaner and more visually appealing solar setup because they eliminate the need for a central inverter box, which can be bulky and unattractive. With microinverters, the solar panels appear sleeker and more integrated into the roof, enhancing the overall curb appeal of the property.
Investing in a solar system with microinverters can increase the resale value of a property. Potential buyers often view microinverter-based systems favourably due to their superior performance, reliability, and ease of maintenance.
Microinverters are a vital component in modern solar system installations, offering numerous benefits that contribute to higher energy production, enhanced reliability, safety, and overall system performance. Residential Photovoltaic Power Supply
Photovoltaic power supply (PV) is an inexhaustible and clean type of energy. It converts the sun’s radiation into electricity.
A PV system includes solar panels and other hardware. It can range from small rooftop systems to massive utility-scale generation plants.
The modules produce direct current (DC). They are connected to an inverter, which converts the DC into alternating current for consumption. Electric cables transport energy from the inverter to other equipment.
Costs
Tumblr media
A residential photovoltaic power supply converts solar energy into electricity using a combination of components, including a PV array to absorb and generate sunlight, an inverter to change the direct current into alternating current that systems in your home can use, and mounting, wiring and other electrical accessories. PV systems can be grid tie, off-grid or hybrid and can include solar storage batteries to improve performance and provide backup.
The cost of a PV system can vary significantly by its size, component options and configuration, labor costs, local permitting fees, and available tax credits and incentives. A typical residential 5-kW system costs $3-5 per watt with installation, which can translate into $15,000-$25,000, before any incentives or tax credits.
The price of a PV system can also differ depending on whether you choose to install an off-grid or hybrid PV system. Off-grid systems produce their own electricity and are not connected to the grid, while a hybrid PV system collects solar energy from the sun, uses it in your home or business, and sells any excess to the utility grid.
Benefits
Solar energy is a clean, renewable, and sustainable form of power. It has many benefits, including a lower risk of grid disruption and reduced utility bills. Many states offer tax credits and incentives for homeowners who install PV systems, and local utilities may also have incentives for solar electricity customers.
Solar photovoltaic cells convert sunlight into electricity using semiconductor material that absorbs solar energy and creates a flow of electrons. These electrons generate direct current (DC), which an inverter converts into alternating current to run household appliances and lights. The power that a single solar cell can produce is rarely enough to meet the needs of most households, so panels are connected together in arrays to produce more current.
A PV system requires a battery to store excess power and use it at night, or when the sun is not shining. These batteries also need a charge controller to regulate the voltage and current, and prevent overcharging.
Installation
A photovoltaic power system consists of solar panels that convert sunlight into electricity. It also includes a battery for energy storage and an inverter that transforms the direct current into alternating current. Other components include monitoring and metering equipment. It is available in two forms: grid-connected and stand alone systems.
The solar panel modules are usually grouped into arrays. The system inverter interfaces bi-directionally with the electric utility network, either at an onsite distribution panel or service entrance. Grid-connected systems utilize batteries to store the energy produced by the PV system during the day, and to provide power to electrical loads at night or on cloudy days.
The inverter transforms the dc output from the solar panels into medium voltage (up to 36 kV). The PV modules are connected in groups through combiner boxes. These boxes aggregate the dc output from the PV modules and protect them with circuit breakers and fuses according to the National Electrical Code.
Maintenance
A maintenance schedule is important to ensure that your solar system continues to generate energy. A daily monitoring program will help identify trends and alarm triggers. Weekly reports can also help track performance. If you encounter an issue that seems to halt production, try turning the AC and DC isolators off, waiting five minutes, and then turning them back on. This may solve the problem.
A Photovoltaic system requires a number of components, including solar panels to convert sunlight into electricity and an inverter to convert the dc output to ac. It also includes racking, wiring, and electrical accessories. The inverter may require a battery for storage of electricity.
To ensure that the electrical connections are safe, make sure that there is a clear path to the isolator switch in case of an emergency. Before you begin cleaning your solar panels, use a dry brush to remove twigs and leaves. Then, use a scrub brush and soapy water to clean the panels.

Hit on the groom and what became of it - chapter 1/I will keep missing you (if you don’t stop running)
Disclaimer: I don’t own DC or Miraculous. I’m just playing with some crazy concept.
Chapter 1 (here)  -|-  Next
-------------
Tumblr media
Ladybug landed on top of the Eiffel tower with practiced grace. An agitated worry roiling in her chest about the message Chat Noir left her. The urgency was one thing, but he sounded… pained. Like the weight of the world dragged him down type pain.
Marinette knew Chat’s home life wasn’t perfect. Skilled at hiding it, maybe, but details leaked through the cracks. An offhand comment here, a muttered accusation there, a sour face yet again here. He lived in pain and tried so hard to work through it.
She tried to help him whenever she could, both as Ladybug and Marinette. She may not return his feelings, but she always listened. For months during their third year as heroes, she left food on the rooftop when Chat’s suit revealed too many ribs. She wasn’t sure the reason and didn’t dare to ask, lest she learned too much, but she did try to help. There were times she thought she imagined the pained looks, and thin frame, and thinly veiled comments; maybe overexaggerating the situation in her mind, as she often did. After all, he always acted so cheerfully.
Then, Lila happened.
The first strike landed swift, almost deadly, but she survived. It was what followed that made her reconsider. A prolonged fight, where Marinette chose to retain a cheerful mask to hide the pain. Along the line, she considered confiding in her parents. But what could they do?  Maybe take her from school, but that would mean Lila already won; the Liar would rule unopposed.
Which left Adrien, her last bastion of friendship.
She still harbored a bit of a crush on him, but it was justified! Like a knight in shining armor, he stood, always ready to defend her. He always ensured her inclusion in class activities and saved her from several catastrophes.
She still stumbled over her words with him, but when it’s minor stuttering or not talking to anyone, she forced herself to adapt. It was nowhere near as bad as it used to be.
With the ability to spend more time with Adrien without acting like a spaz, Kagami also appeared more often, and proved to be a good friend. Marinette found a home with the two awkward rich kids ridiculously clueless and unaware of how the real world functioned. In the end, she even grew to accept Adrien might not be destined to be hers but chose to support him nonetheless.
“My lady?” She was broken out of her musing by a familiar voice.
“Hello, Kitty-cat. I got your message… what’s wrong?” She turned to see Cat Noir slumped over the railing, with his ears tweaking nervously. She didn’t even know he could do it.
“I… I’m sorry my Lady, but I can’t… I can’t continue to be your partner,” he declared.
“What?!” she squeaked. “What happened? What’s the matter?”
“I’m… I’m getting married,” he announced, his ears drooping and tail tucked between his legs.
Oh, that’s… not what she expected to hear. “Married? Congrat…” she drifted off, noticing his sour face. “Chat? What are you not telling me?”
“It’s… I… My…” He struggled to figure out how to say it, but ultimately remained silent for a moment. “There is nothing to be happy about. It’s a… business marriage,” he spat, his eyes narrowing.
“But… those are illegal!” Ladybug protested.
“Not when you make it look like a love match. Especially if you insinuate at a scandal.” He sneered, jumping off the railing and pacing along the empty rooftop. “My father holds all the cards and I… I’m in no position to oppose him.”
“I’m sure we can…”
He sighed, walking over to her. “Please… M’lady. Don’t try to give me hope. I accepted what I must do.” With that, he reached for the ring, but she stopped him.
“Chat. We can try… You’re my friend. You can’t… We will figure it out. Together.” In all they’d endured, suffered, and triumphed - Marinette had never seen him this despondent… this broken.
He sighed, his eyes flat and dull. “There is nothing to figure out,” he said, forcing the ring off his finger.
The transformation fell, leaving Adrien Agreste materialized in place of her long-time partner. Plagg’s sharp cry cut off, as he’s sucked into the ring the second he popped out of it. She stood there, too stunned to notice the blond boy pushed the ring into her palm and closed it.
Marinette wasn’t sure what thoughts decided to rampantly rage through her head, but the train of thoughts probably broke the collective speed limit everywhere in the world at the same time.
“M’lady?” Adrien’s soft voice brought her to earth when she was one step from panic.
“A-Adrien?” She choked on the word.
“You heard about me?” He looked dumbfounded. Ladybug, too shocked to say a word, gestured over to the building line. Even from so high and far away, his most recent billboard advertisement stood visible. “Ah… right.”
“Who… who’s the lucky girl?” Inside her mind, she wondered if Kagami right now faced a  similar problem. It was the most logical…
“Lila Rossi,” Adrien admitted, his shoulders hunching.
Marinette.exe stopped working.
A moment passed.
Another.
“Um… M’Lady?” The boy tried to prod his ex-partner to respond by waving his hand in front of her face.
“That… that lying…” Ladybug saw red. This could not be happening.
Adrien nodded, the despondent look on his face growing worse every second.“My father deemed her a suitable heiress to the Gabriel brand… I tried to warn him she was a liar, but he… I think he actually admires her skill…” Tears built in his eyes, and Adrien covertly tried to wipe them away.
“Maybe… maybe you could… I don’t know!” she screamed in frustration. Marinette had several ideas about what Adrien could do, but none of them would help.
Running away would be a problem. Leaking the story to the press would lead to his home life growing even worse. After dealing with Gabriel Agreste’s parenting, she held no illusion Adrien could win a court battle. The rich too often got away with whatever they desired. She could try to sicc Uncle Jagged on the case… or maybe Clara Nightingale… Nadia Chamack would probably love the news-breaking story, but it would all put Adrien in danger. Who knows what would happen before they could obtain results or protection against Gabriel’s extensive reach.
Adrien sighed as if knowing exactly where her thoughts took her. Chat was no dummy, he probably scoured over his options more times than he could count. His resignation, the last resort in a long line of failed plans.  “I appreciate you trying, but I already told you I accepted it. Just… take me down, please. I… I didn’t really plan the location well…” He let out a weak chuckle.
“Fine… I’m sorry kitty...” She grabbed hold of him and swung to the ground. Despondently she watched her best friend, her partner, walk away into the night; resigned to a life of suffering and isolation.
There must be something she could do, she thought. She closed a gloved fist around the ring. She was Ladybug, and if she put her mind to it, there was nothing she couldn't do.
-----------
A week later the press learned about the upcoming wedding. Adrien and Lila both left school for home-school. The press and the general public ate up the news story about star-crossed lovers that met in school and became inseparable. It didn’t help that the class kept commenting about how good they were for each other.
Marinette resisted an urge to gag whenever she caught the sound of the vicious lies and propaganda.  She was asked for comment only once but chose to refuse. It didn’t earn her any popularity in class. Luckily, she convinced Nadia to stop a nasty side-story about her jealousy from being published.
No closer to a plan, she despondently continued to push through her life without her friend. She, unsurprisingly, hadn’t received a single text or call. Marinette didn’t blame Adrien; his position couldn’t be easy. A month after Adrien departed from her class, Marinette convinced her parents to also home-school her. Without a single friend, the school became a burden. Of course, her reasoning to her parents leaned into her focus on her fashion business. Which wasn’t untrue. It was starting to pick up.
The only upside to this whole debacle was near-lack of akuma attacks. It seemed Hawkmoth found a hobby. Maybe he wrote poems?
Nah. Not his style...
Two months after the announcement  Marinette woke to surprise guests: Adrien, his father, and Lila knocked on the bakery’s doors. The bride-to-be in an especially sour mood, as much as she tried to hide it. Gabriel appeared to be devoid of any emotions, as usual.
She seated them on the couch and asked if they would like a drink. She didn’t bother to offer food, not wanting to waste good cake on the likes of Lila and Gabriel. Although, Adrien’s thin cheeks and haunted eyes made her regret the decision.
All of them declined the drink.
“Madame Marinette, I assume you have heard of the Wedding?” The capitalization clearly discernible in his voice.
“Yes… Yes sir!” she corrected herself. Trying desperately to mask her disgust behind a layer of nervousness. She couldn’t risk a glance at Adrien, even if this was the first time she’d seen him since that night on the roof. Making it through the meeting would be hard enough without watching him suffer.
“While initially, I planned to prepare the dress and suit myself, my son convinced me to give a chance to someone else to shine.” Clearly, whatever it was Adrien said, it didn’t include a polite request. “I have seen the dress you made for Rock Star Jagged Stone’s wedding, as well as the suit worn by Nadia Chamack.”
“They are designs I’m particularly proud of, sir.”
Play the part. Play the part. Don’t send him to the hospital. Papa and Maman would be disappointed. Well, Maman would probably join me…
Her homicidal train of thought ended as she forced a smile to appear on her face. Contrary to Lila’s stretched thin lips;  Marinette’s smile shines bright and could’ve been mistaken for genuine.
“Indeed… I’ve come to commission you to design and make the gown and the suit for the sweet couple.” He announced like it was the highest honor, but there was an amount of bile in his words Marinette used to think was reserved only for Nino.
“I… I’m… I’m honored, sir!” She beamed. The excitement only half-forced. Her moral compass told her even entertaining the proposal was wrong, but at the same time, her brain furiously flitted crafting possibilities.
Gabriel nodded imperiously as if her acceptance merely added to a foregone conclusion. “Good. My assistant, Nathalie, will sort out the details. Lex Luthor agreed to pay for the pieces as his wedding gift, so do not be afraid to ask for full price.” He informed her t as if he believed she would give him a discount.
For a moment, a singular reckless moment, Marinette entertained the temptation to voice her thoughts about Gabriel being cheap.
She sighed, no, there would be another day for career suicide. The group rose to leave, and Marinette finally glanced at Adrien; his model-trained smile paper-thin. He caught her eyes, and if he radiated sadness two months ago, it didn’t hold a candle to the devastation swimming in his eyes. The exchange broke when Lila gripped a hand tight around his arm and dragged him to the door.
Gabriel handed her a card, and the group departed. Marinette collapsed onto the couch, the makings of a headache building in her skull.
This would be awful.
------------
A week later Marinette held a separate meeting, consisting of Nathalie, Lila, Lila’s mother, and Adrien’s aunt. And her, obviously.
She first asked what kind of dress Lila wanted.
Lila’s eyes lit up in an unholy glee; and she started talking.
And talking.
And talking.
And talking.
After the long and painstakingly thorough description, Marinette felt faint. Several reasons contributed to that, although the most prominent were the materials, the design, and the way she spoke. Obviously Lila had feelings, the kind likely to trigger an oncoming Auma attack if Hawkmoth hadn’t pranced off to who knows where, about Marinette designing her dress.
Marinette was happy Adrien’s aunt pointed out the request’s complete madness, but Lila’s mother waved it off, quick to declare only minor adjustments to the request would be needed.
In the end, Marinette presented several dozen designs, both hers and foreign to have a basis on which she could work. Lila, of course, chose the one that would be hardest to make.
“I’m sorry none of your designs were good, Marinette…” The liar cooed with faked sorrow. She hid a smirk the designer could clearly see.
The notion was born because it was a picture and not a sketch.
Marinette smirked, and rose from the couch, ignoring Lila’s irritated scowl at her non-reaction.
She liked it even less when the girl brought in the ready-made dress.
“I made it as the first design for Penny Rolling’s wedding, based on Uncle Jagged’s suggestions. I should’ve known Penny didn’t approve of his idea, but…” she waved it off.
Lila, now actively glaring at her, sat back on the couch. All of which was mistaken for amazement by the adults.
Marinette ignored the girl’s dramatics, it was the only way she’d survive this meeting intact. “Of course, there still needs to be several adjustments and personalizations. I will also need to order the amber you requested. And the platinum thread. And the white gold. And probably an industrial-grade 3-D printer… Is that covered by the expenses?” She looked at Nathalie, who nodded. “Great! I will need just a moment.”
The women watched as Marinette practically leaped at her notebook and added in adjustments to the sketch. Fifteen minutes later, when she presented a new design, impressing them all (sans Lila, obviously) with the flowing lines and intricate details. They praised her talent (even Natalie), and Marinette played the bashful young designer role to a tee. The liar kept glaring though. She couldn’t back away easily, since she already made a scene about wanting that specific dress. Marinette informed them beforehand she would need to know about her specific wishes before she made any adjustments.
The final design looked pretty much exactly what Lila wanted though, but she didn’t want to give her nemesis the satisfaction. Her entourage did enough of this.
Under the cover of being too emotional, they ended the meeting. Nathalie remained to finish the deal and sign the contract.
After all of them left, Marinette collapsed onto her chair. An hour later a notification from her bank came. She received the first half of the payment. When finished, the dress would officially be the most expensive wedding dress to date. Blessed be Lex Luthor and his deep pocket. She chuckled, remembering how much the billionaire got kidnapped because of his money.
Then, an idea shined in her head.
Oh.
Oh...
She took off her earrings and dismissed Tikki, promising she needed a quick chat with Plagg about a new potential holder. When Marinette put on the ring, the Kwami of destruction popped back into existence.
“So… figured out how to help my chosen?” he asked.
What Tikki didn’t know was when Marinette said she intended to discuss potential holders for Plagg, they really worked on a way to save Adrien. It was their secret since Tikki would most likely disapprove. They didn’t want to risk her disappointment in them. Not until they crafted a fleshed out full-proof plan.
She nodded. “I have an idea. Let’s hire someone to kidnap him!”
Plagg rolled his eyes. “Did they hit you on the head, pigtails?”
“No. But look, the problem is whatever we come up with, Adrien ends up blamed or we land ourselves in jail, right?” The Kwami nodded. “So… if we make sure it’s a very public kidnapping and he disappears, we can stash him away until the heat dies down. After we dye his hair and apply fast-tan, he will look different enough no one will connect the two. I’m pretty sure I could get my hands on fake documents if I tried hard enough…” she trailed off thinking of all the minutiae to coordinate to pull this off.
It would be hard.
But it would be worth it.
Plagg slowly nods. “Okay… Somehow, that both makes no sense and seems perfectly legitimate. It’s also your most chaotic plan to date, Pigtails. Let’s do it!” The Kwami cheered, happy to be soon reunited with his chosen kitten. “But what about the costs!”
Marinette already had an answer in mind for that question. “Even after I subtract the costs of materials and other supplies, the payment for the dress, together with my savings, will be more than enough. Now… let’s go wake Tikki up.”
That… ended with the Kwami of Creation vomiting a pile of handcuffs and other police gear at Marinette.
“Um… Why?”
The little red Kwammi placed her paws on her hips. “Because you should familiarize yourself with those if you plan on going to prison for that plan. It’s no longer just a phone theft, Marinette! You’re talking about breaking more laws than I can count!” She dropped to the pillow below, bemoaning about where she went wrong.
Marinette scooped up her wayward friend and tried to reassure her. “I just need to be careful. I’m pretty sure I can do it without detection. Maman taught me how to not be seen on the internet. Or in general. Come on. I need to order a secure laptop.”
“I will help!” Plagg offered. “I can cataclysm the internet after you do your thing.”
“What?! No! Think of the cute cat pictures!” Marinette protested. “And video games.”
“Relax! It’ll just remove any trace of you doing anything online in the several hours or so…” He calmed her.
Tikki trailed after them, a bundle of nerves and worry. “Plagg! It’s irresponsible! You can’t possibly…”
“Pigtails and I have it all under control. What’s the worst that could happen?”
---------
Turns out, a lot.
Before Marinette put out the hit (kidnapping, she made sure that it was plain as day), she needed to set a price. That one was harder. It wasn’t like you could Google how much you needed to charge to kidnap a celebrity. At least, not without attracting a lot of unwanted attention.
She asked her mother, under the guise of pure curiosity. It was a normal question any teenage girl asked her mother. How much does it cost to have someone killed, how much cheaper/more expensive a kidnapping is, how to acquire fake documents, that kind of stuff. Not suspicious at all.
So absorbed in her rant, she missed a merry glint in Sabine’s eyes. She also didn’t question how her Maman knew those prices.
Finally, she needed to fill the form.
Assignment: Acquisition and Delivery
Asset(s): Adrien Athanase Agreste
Value:
Here, Marinette paused.
Her mom gave her a lengthy lecture about pricing and all. According to her, a professional would take up to fifty thousand dollars for kidnapping and bringing the target to her. Marinette decided, since Adrien was a celebrity, she should double the price. More risks involved, more reward, right?
But, she also wanted to ensure she hired the best of the best. Compare her work to Gabriel Agreste’s, she came to the conclusion ten times the price was reasonable to ensure only the best in the field would take the job.
Then, there was the matter of safety and so on and so on. By the end, she settled on two million dollars, as her asking price for one Adrien Agreste. Plagg sagely nodded, agreeing with her assessment. Tikki didn’t comment, as she wasn’t speaking to the two, but also seemed more accepting after spying on Adrien and Lila’s home life. Not that she revealed that tidbit to either of them, lest they drop the plan and directly go at Gabe and the Liar.
After a few more details and boxes in the form Marinette filled until she came to the end. Only one more detail remained:
Sponsor:
Marinette stared at the word for a moment. After a quick race of thoughts, she typed slowly.
Sponsor: The Seamstress
Perfect. Nothing about this could go wrong.
Of course, how could she predict just how big of a mess she would make?

[ID: A spread from Daredevil: Yellow showing Daredevil (in his original yellow suit) swinging across the nighttime rooftops.]
Matt: “I could’ve taken the subway uptown. Or the bus. Or a taxi. But, with you on my mind, I thought I could fly. And I thought about Thor and Iron Man and heroes like that who really could fly and I laughed to think people now might use my name in the same sentence. It was almost surreal. Hiding my costume. Changing in the shadows. I had even thought ahead to remove my mask last in case someone should see me. A grown man taking off his clothes in an alley. I thought that was against the law.”
Daredevil: Yellow #3 by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale
Compared to many other Marvel superheroes, Matt is fairly isolated. He isn’t on many teams (he was an Avenger for a while, he was part of the short-lived Marvel Knights group, he was on Bendis’s All-New All-Different Defenders team, but that’s mostly it). He exists on the periphery of many Marvel-verse events, if he’s even involved at all. His team-ups tend to be short and self-contained, and he mostly works by himself, so he can call his own shots and not have to be responsible for other people or worry about them getting in the way. But at the same time, he is deeply embedded within the NYC superhero network. He has many close superhero friends, and things that affect that community tend to affect him too. And it’s a community he enjoys being a part of, too, even if he isn’t as well-connected as, say, his BFF Peter Parker. I also feel safe saying that that rich web of relationships between a vast number of characters living and working in close proximity is one of the main reasons most people are so attached to the worlds Marvel and DC have created.
Daredevil is one of those characters who often gets the “superhero” label revoked and replaced with something like “vigilante” or “crimefighter”. There’s nothing inherently wrong with this. It often happens with darker stories/adaptations, and I love a good dark Daredevil story. However, it sometimes feels like it’s done for the wrong reasons-- as if the concept of superheroes is too silly for a character as complex as Daredevil. This bugs me, because obviously that’s not true. There is no one right and proper way to be a superhero, and that’s part of the magic of the genre. It is also possible to physically and tonally isolate Matt from the superhero community without pretending that connection doesn’t exist at all, or that he isn’t a superhero, because he is, even if he doesn't always act like it. In fact, I find that dissonance-- the idea of a superhero who sometimes does the wrong thing-- far more interesting than the idea of Matt just not being one at all.
I consider DD: Yellow to be an excellent modern adaptation/retelling of Matt’s origin because it fully embraces its superhero elements, and this scene-- Matt quite literally geeking out about doing Superhero Things(TM) and becoming part of that community-- is one of my favorite moments.

Enphase Microinverter
Enphase microinverters convert solar panels’ extra low-voltage DC power into AC at the panel level, eliminating arcing risk and making it safer for installers and homeowners. They also feature integrated rapid shutdown, which ensures that they shut down quickly during grid failures, maintenance work, and home electrical repairs.
IQ8X microinverters are backed by more than one million cumulative hours of testing and meet stringent reliability standards. They’re a part of the Enphase Energy System suite and integrate with the IQ Battery, IQ Gateway, and Enphase App for advanced monitoring options.
Easy to install
When it comes to solar energy, enphase microinverter are a safe, cost-effective alternative to traditional string inverters. They have a much lower failure rate than standard inverters and come with advanced monitoring features that help to optimize system output. In addition, they are easy to install.
Unlike traditional inverters, which manage groups of panels wired into one input on the inverter, micro-inverters have an individual output for each panel. This means that if a single panel malfunctions, it will only affect that panel. In contrast, with a conventional inverter, the entire string would stop working until the inverter is replaced.
In order to install an enphase microinverter, you will first need to install the AC branch circuit junction box and isolator on your roof. Next, you will connect the IQ microinverters and IQ cables to your PV modules and racking. Lastly, you will install the IQ System Controller 2 and energize the system. The IQ system controller will enable grid integration, provide backup power in the event of a grid outage, and prioritize load priority for critical loads during an outage.
Scalable
Enphase microinverters allow for a more scalable system than the traditional string solar inverter. This means that more panels can be added in the future without having to add more inverters. In addition, they can provide a higher yield than a string inverter system and are compatible with most types of solar panels.
Microinverters are able to isolate equipment failures, which isn’t possible with string inverters. They can also offer module-level rapid shutdown and production optimization capabilities. Additionally, they can help you maximize your rooftop space and adapt to design challenges.
Microinverters are integrated with a communication hub called an IQ combiner that monitors each panel’s performance. This allows you to track your energy usage and monitor your solar system’s production in real time. They also use the safest battery chemistry, Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP), and don’t emit high-voltage electricity that can cause thermal runaway. This helps you to avoid potential damage to your home and protect your investment.
Long-lasting
Enphase microinverters are designed to last for the full life of a solar energy system. They have passed a variety of temperature tests and even endured Adelaide’s scorching 2014 summer. In addition, they are able to optimize the efficiency of solar panels.
This translates to a higher savings potential for homeowners. Furthermore, the inverters are easy to monitor. They can track each module’s performance and usage, providing granular insight to homeowners. This technology can help them save more money by increasing their self-consumption.
A specialized software called the IQ Combiner helps each microinverter
communicate with each other and the meter. It also ensures that each microinverter is in good working condition. This is important because it prevents a single point of failure, which can lead to system instability. In addition, it can mitigate shading issues and maximize site-wide output. In addition, a new generation of power-line communication has enabled the IQ Combiner to detect microinverter malfunctions.
Easy to monitor
Unlike traditional string inverters, which only monitor one panel at a time, enphase microinverter system can provide panel level monitoring. This is done through the Envoy communication gateway, which sends performance data over power lines to an online web portal and free mobile app. This is a powerful tool for installers and homeowners who want to keep track of the performance of their solar power system.
The eighth-generation IQ8 Series microinverters have redefined reliability standards, with over a million cumulative hours of power-on testing and an industry-leading 25year warranty. The system also includes a battery backup option called Ensemble that uses Enpower and Encharge batteries to provide daytime electricity, even in the event of a grid outage.
The IQ8 microinverters are designed to support both residential and commercial rooftops. They are easy to wire using portrait or landscape trunk cables, which can make installation faster and easier. They also require no ground electrode conductor, which saves on installation costs and reduces potential safety hazards.

Anyway all I’m going to be doing is going through the Tom King Batman run arc by arc (ish) and say if I thought it was good or bad and why.
If people don’t wanna read the whole thing I will say that I think the run had a super strong start and then had a lot of really odd decisions as it went on, and the ending was supremely unsatisfying.  However, there are parts of it that I think are worth reading. Specifically, the I Am arcs (I am Gotham, Suicide, Bane), Super-Friends (which is a mini-arc inside of Rules of Engagement) and Cold Days.
They’re undoubtedly the highlights of the entire run, and are great stories if taken in isolation. You really don’t need to read the rest of the run to enjoy them, and I think that they are genuinely worth reading.
Now, for the in-depth shit. And, again, this is just my own opinions. And also, massive spoilers.
I Am Arcs: 9/10. (yes I’m lumping these all together because they’re basically one long arc) The beginning of Tom King’s run is probably the strongest. Bruce’s long-term struggles with the futility of his mission, depression, and complex relationship with Catwoman are all extremely gripping. Much like Cold Days, it offers an extremely personal look at Batman we rarely get. I consider the I Am arcs to be a must read.
Rooftops: 7/10 A much needed breather from the above arcs. Short, sweet, and doesn’t overstay its welcome. Obviously, if you’re not into BatCat, you won’t enjoy this, but given that all of Tom King’s stuff is BatCat, you probably wouldn’t enjoy his run to begin with.
The War of Jokes and Riddles: 6/10. It has some neat ideas and I always love seeing the Riddler getting to be genuinely dangerous, but it overstays its welcome with a conclusion that you can see coming a mile away, because it’s a prequel story. However, it does have Kite Man, so that’s good.
The Rules of Engagement: The Talia stuff is 4/10, but Superfriends is 8/10. Why am I dividing this Arc in two? Because that is the polarity of quality. Seriously, I get that Tom King loves Catwoman but her winning against motherfucking Talia al Ghul is stupid. However, Superfriends is a fucking treasure. Batman and Superman just talking about how much they admire the other guy is something I’ve wanted for years, and it’s just nice to see these two legends just...having a day together. Super pleasant.
Bride or Burglar:  6/10 to 7.10? As the score reflects, I was really conflicted on this one. It has a lot of moments that I really enjoyed, but depending on your own tastes, this might go down to a 4. Particularly with the Wonder Woman and Poison Ivy arcs. I liked them, but obviously you may have different tastes.
The Wedding: 5/10. Oh no it’s the one where everyone shit their pants even though it was obvious DC wasn’t gonna do it. Not to be salty on main but come on people. DC is notoriously anti-marriage, even if Tom King wanted to they would never let him. Chill with the hate mail. The comic itself is eh.
Cold Days: 9/10. After the disaster of the last arc, Tom King really pulled it back around and told another really gripping story about Bruce and how dependent he’s become on the Batman persona, as well as what it’s like to be in Gotham for a normal person. This is the best of the run, right along with the I Am arcs. Another must-read.
The Tyrant Wing: 4/10. Cool idea, poor execution that strays into wtf territory. Tom King stop pretending that Damian is Bruce’s only kid. I hated these comics.
Knightmares: 7/10 A lot of people didn’t like this one, but honestly? I liked the exploration of Bruce’s fears that aren’t all about his parents. The artwork is also just gorgeous in this arc. It’s weird, it’s trippy, give it a try.
The Fall and the Fallen: 4/10: This is where the run starts dying. Tom King over-relies on old tricks and to be blunt, I despise how Flashpoint!Batman was used.
City of Bane: 3/10. What does Tom King have against the Batfamily members who aren’t Damian. God I hated this arc, but at least it’s over.
And there you have it folks. Strong start to horrible end. TL;DR: Read I Am, Super-friends, Cold Days, Knightmares, and nothing else.
