The Brothers Extraordinaire!

(Joke concept in reference to the sitcom "Two And A Half Men" a show about two brothers and a young boy, three male protagonists but one yet to grow up.) In this joke idea, it's three brothers but one is not an android. The idea is that in this AU that they all grew up together but became distant over the years and haven't spoken in a long time, with Markus becoming rich from a music career, Connor recruited by the feds, and Leo at college until one day he gets kicked out for drug abuse, meanwhile Connor and Markus have had to drop everything and move back in with Carl due to a motorcycle accident that crippled him, they were relaxed until Leo showed up having gotten into legal trouble and losing any money he had left, the three end up living together to help their father. For the series they face various outlandish misadventures.

Personalities of the characters

Markus: A compassionate fellow helping others through difficult times, philosophical to his core and very brutal when he needs to be.

Connor: A slightly grumpy douche, with lack of desire to socialize, but more sympathetic than meets the eye, and cares about his family even if he acts cold.

Leo: A down on luck former college student just trying to get back on his feet and reconnect with his brothers and sometimes feels like a burden to the family.

These three have a strained relationship these days but grow closer over the series.

Connor, Conrad (Sixty) and Carter! (Nines) FOLKS IVE CHANGED NINES NAME TO “CONAN”!!!!!

Nines/Naan (Carter) is called Naan as a nickname because growing up he would only eat naan and nothing else, like NOTHING ELSE. And was such a bother for his parents they started just calling him Naan (I want you to know Naan is pronounced like saying “Nine” but just “Na” okay. Its not “Næn”, its “NA”. Another way to explain properly pronounce it is just saying “Nun”, like the church people, but elongate the “a” a little)

Do, Re and Mi is what all their “kool kid” friends call them because they are a group and no one can separate them

Obviously im straying VERY far from the original Do Re Mi (P. Ramlee) but let me have my fun!!!

Note: they all can sing :) (you’d know if you watch Do Re Mi) also also if you didnt know, Do Re Mi was made in 1960’s so um, yeah its a lil old

Honestly the Connor clones are kind of perfect for some sort of spy comedy type au. Like Connor is just a normal, mild-mannered (yeah right) accountant or something equally sedate, meanwhile his identical twin brother has secretly been a spy for a shady government agency for years. An unfortunate case of mistaken identity leads to Connor being hunted by a cast of the world’s most dangerous men and women. Wacky hijinks ensue. He only survives via increasingly unlikely lucky circumstances. Maybe his gruff ex-cop neighbor helps or something. He must desperately search down the brother who put him into this situation and discover what secret has made him a target. Coming never to theaters near you.

what are a few of your favorite headcanons for your Spider-Man DBH Au?

OOOO where do I even begin? Thank you for the ask!!

First one that comes to mind is in regards to Sixty. While his name is Conrad in the AU, some people still call him Sixty. This is because I HC that when he was in university and able to drink without Hank getting on his ass about it, he attended a frat party for the beer. He only managed to get through 6 cans before passing out drunk. The people who were there started calling him Sixer, but as they kept using it, the name slowly turned into Sixty.

Having said that, Sixty is kind of a campus legend now because people think he drank 60 cans of beer (which is just straight up impossible but y'know how myths are-- they're unbelievably silly like that).

Along the same vein of RKbros HCs, Connor and Sixty shared a bunk bed until they moved out for university. Hank never got around to remodeling their room after they left, so Nines sometimes goes in there when he misses his brothers and sleeps on one of the bunks with Sumo (can't leave Sumo out of this AU).

I'd like to think Gavin keeps a framed picture of Spider-Man in his bedroom that he cut out of a newspaper. Only Tina knows about it (she probably climbed into his room in the middle of the night to ask him if he wanted to go out somewhere and she saw it). He doesn't want anyone to know how much he looks up to Spidey, and it would take him a lot of courage to admit any of that to Nines.

(And then when he finds out that Nines is Spider-Man, he'd probably work twice as hard to keep his fanboy status a secret because there's no way in hell he's gonna admit he was obsessed with his boyfriend before he was even his boyfriend.)

aaand last HC I can think of rn that I really like is in regards to the other RKbros (Reed-Kamski). Nothing huge really. I just really enjoy the thought of them having matching necklaces from when they were little kids and were still on speaking terms. Thin, silver chains with some sort of small pendant/charm on them. Gavin keeps it tucked under his shirt while Elijah wears his like a bracelet (he had it modified). Gavin is never close enough to him to see him wearing it, and Eli can never see it on Gav because it's under his clothes, so neither of them know the other wears it every day to remember each other.

A lot of Connor's peers in uni thought he was a teenage father because he would just take this tiny version of him to lectures. Six-year-old Niles was well behaved so Connor never got in trouble, but Connor hated when groups of people would go up to them trying to talk to Niles because they were rude and loud and made Niles nervous. That mixed with Connor having very little time to himself and him being at least 3 years younger than everyone else meant he had no friends in college.

Him and Niles were also pretty close until Connor was pushed to work on his career and Amanda convinced Niles he had to be better than his brother.

Connor still calls Niles 'Nines' sometimes tho, because little Niles would tell everyone he knew about the multiplying nines trick that Connor taught him, and nine is Niles' favorite number.

more school au starry the people want more!

well you're in luck cause i'm stuck in the car for 30 min so i got time to ramble about my dbh school au. i'll reiterate some of the points i made previously for any who haven't seen it

firstly, the school that everyone is at is one of those private boarding schools for students from 6th-12th grade

jericrew are 10th year students. they're delinquents not in the bully others way but the we ditch class bc we hate the academic elitist agenda the school is pushing kind of way

markus is an art and music prodigy that was adopted by carl manfred. he is constantly putting graffiti up (it's art dammit!!) and the school can't kick him out bc carl is a massive donor to the school

josh is a model student that is doing his best to wrangle his anarchist friends but he also hates the school system so he'll usually tag along with his friends shenanigans but he's gonna complain the whole time.

simon is a very average student but he's doing quite well considering he's got insomnia and a constantly low blood sugar. he's always got a lollipop or some candy in his mouth and he perpetually looks tired.

north is constantly ditching class but she always aces her exams so the school is having a hard time justifying disciplining her. her parents agree that if she's doing well she doesn't need to attend classes and what are we paying you for if my daughter is able to teach herself well enough to pass. north gets her attitude from her parents. she also loves her chewing gum and she may or may not have a collection growing under her desk. (north that's disgusting and unhygienic)

kara and connor both transfer in the middle of the school year at the same time. kara is a scholarship student who just moved recently. she has a younger sister named alice who is too young to attend yet. kara is in her 9th year.

connor is the adopted son of the school's headmaster amanda stern. he's a prodigy that's skipped 2 grades. he's supposed to be in his 9th year but is attending 11th year classes.

luther is a 10th year. he is cousins with rose who is in the same homeroom as kara. adam is her younger brother in 7th grade.

hank, gavin, miles, and tina are in the same homeroom as connor. hank is supposed to be in his 12th year but got held back due to all his absences last year. (his brother cole passed away and so he didn't attend classes). he used to be on the disciplinary committee but got kicked out due to his academic probation

kamski is student council president in his 12th year. chloe is his secretary also in her 12th year.

gavin is kamski 's half brother. he is part of the disciplinary committee that is headed by perkins and fowler.

uhm that's all i got so far ahahah. i already have a fun comic idea in my head for this but im supposed to be working on my other wips LMAO. might do a messy sketch or ms paint doodle or something for it instead hahah.

2024 Team Highlight 32

Our thirty second team in the Reverse Big Bang was @mitsu-14136 working alongside @s-hylor

@mitsu-14136 had an idea for a fantasy Medieval AU story where Hank and Connor's relationship parallels canon, with them originally starting off as reluctant companions, with them growing closer as the story, and their journey, progresses. They created one artwork for this, showing Hank as an Orc, and Connor as an elf.

@s-hylor turned this into The Fire In The Sunrise, an Explicit rated Hankcon story in which Connor is summoned to attend his brother's wedding, and Hank is pressed into service to ensure he gets there on time. After a rocky, tense start, they slowly start to soften towards one another.

Connors (Stern Siblings) 🥇🥈🥉✨

DBH Role Reversal Au, Detective Stern (Connor), Lieutenant Stern (Richard/Nines), Conrad (Six) and Hank (HK800)

I wanted Connor to have tension with Nines because they lost their brother Conrad, where Connor was saved over Conrad (his identical twin) because an Android paramedic prioritized Connor's status as a police officer over Conrad (who was studying to be a teacher). If it was a human, they wouldn't have been able to distinguish between the two and possibly even tried to save both.

Nines joins the police academy soon after which causes problems with Connor, but he does it to look after Connor as he doesn't want to lose another sibling. Connor who was supposed to be promoted as the youngest lieutenant in Detroit has to see his younger and better brother get it instead.

I'm okay with almost everything. I like both fluff and angst, both something cute and dark. If we are playing a romantic ship, I'd like it to not be ER.
