yesssss your post about dre being there. iāve been trying to get caught up with everything that happened since i didnāt get to watch live and as iām going through the tag iāve seen a bunch of posts about it and like yeah who you associate with means something but also it would be wild if dre WASNāT there. kendrick had EVERYONE up there on that stage with him i donāt think itās that deep ykwim. the whole fake activism thing is a strange accusation imo i think kendrickās made it clear heās a real one but people like to latch onto things yk
Yeah i mean i know this is the antiblack, never listened to hip hop a day in their life ass website but also??? Like at least use one brain cell to recognize it was a big holiday for Black Americans and it was a West Coast rap showcase with Compton + South Central + Inglewood artists both old and new being heavily featured (see: Black Hippy, Mustard, YG, Tyler, Ty, Dom, Steve Lacy, Roddy, Blxst, Hed, Boogie etc.) so itās not at all surprising that Dre was asked to be there. Heās been in the game since ā85 and the whole point Kendrick was making about Aubrey is that he aināt got no roots like they do and he is a disrespectful ass culture vulture who has no regard for the artistry and history of hip hop.
Hella people have been talking about this ā and not in this site ā but also Dot??? wasnāt hosting a kangaroo court exclusively on Dreās baggage???? It was a cultural concert with CRIPS and BLOODS (including mf HOOVERS which iydk HUGE) on stage who havenāt come together like that in years. They were making peace in the name of defending our history from bitchass people like those not from the hood (AUBREY) or educated in the history of hip hop outside of romanticizing it and clout chasing (AUBREY). It was a reminder to not fuck with our city bc at the end of the day we got each otherās backs. LA showed up for itself bc too many people have been speaking like they know us, disrespecting the history we got, and itās very clear they donāt know shit. Those people can take their pearl clutching elsewhere bc Dre wasnāt the point of the night it was to unite the city and West Coast rappers against the kind of people like Aubrey and those who gargle his balls.
#kendrick lamar#I say this as a south central baby. these are my boys and iāll unite with them against outside clowns even while i beef wit em#and iām fr beefing with Dre and his bullshit behavior and perpetuating cycles of violence against black women when he knows damn better#but i aināt going to begrudge him this one bc he IS and WAS a part of the culture whether we like it or not#stop commodifying hip hop iāll fucking kill u#šššāØš
š½šŖ#donāt even get me started on Kendrickās weird hotep shit but like what Dot is doing for the game is most important and he a real one for it

getting high with tighnari...
he's a lot more chill than you might think. still talks about plants (a lot) but starts going into shit like their 'evolutionary mechanisms':
"...like, don't you think it's fascinating that flowers have faces? if you look at them? like...really look at them?"
you look at the flowerhead that he twirls slow between his fingers while conjuring images of other blossoms in your mind. "whoa."
"i know right? some orchids have even evolved to look like what their pollinators find attractive. the dendrophylax lindenii, for example, can only be pollinated by the sphinx moth, which is part of the reason why it's an endangered species...that, and poaching. that's why i do what i do. only a relative few will ever see a live ghost orchid and i want to be part of the reason more people do. because they're beautiful and mysterious. like you."
#maybe it's bc i'm a plant mama but a guy that can talk about shit like that is...el primo#i love orchids#they're one of the few plants i kill tho aha#fun fact: i have a spinal tattoo of a ghost orchid's life cycle#got it done when i lived in florida years ago#which is fitting considering wild ghost orchids are only found in south florida (the everglades) and cuba#anyway lulz#byeeee#tighnari#tighnari x reader#tighnari x you#tighnari x y/n#tighnari hcs#genshin#genshin impact#genshin hcs#genshin impact hcs

Reading the Raven Cycle as someone who grew up in Northern Virginia is soooo crazy bc whenever they mention Ganesy living near DC I'm like omg that's my home? They mentioned picking up Professor Mallory at the airport and I was over here twirling my hair like "oooh I wonder if he's at Dulles or Reagan national"
#any NOVA girlies out there can I get an ayooooo#when they were talking about fourth of July and they were like āfireworks that launch above a certain height are illegal hereā#I was like YEAH!!! THEY ARE!!! <3#when gansey and henry drove down 66 i was like ooh that's rough for u because everyone always tells me to avoid it (bad traffic)#being in northern VA is just different energy truly everyone always says they're from NOVA to make it clear they're not from the south#which is like nuanced.........the intent is to be like hey please understand my politics are not conservative but the affect is us vs them#which i think is an issue the book explored well#it also captured how nobody in virginia claims west virginia when mallory referred to it as āthe other virginiaā#they are not of us........ we are the real virginia......... this is what unites northern and southern virginia. We assert dominance 2gethe#west virginia is actually lovely btw i jest#there are windmills there#trc#the raven cycle

Soooo what are yāallās hcs on the Tweak family š¤š¤š¤
#lowkey I like to hc it as a generational trauma type of thing for Mr Tweak#I feel like Richard was a LOT like Tweek when he was little#very anxious and unsure of himself#he mentions in the gnomes episode I believe that his business has been going on 30 years#and was passed down to him by his father by his father before him#growing up I think that he too was given a lot of this coffee by his father#and over the years he was conditioned and manipulated into accepting this as the norm#in hopes that he would one day take over the business#when he was finally old enough his father shared the family recipe with him and at that point he had pretty much been brainwashed#I think he sees a lot of his younger self in tweek which is why heās so condescending towards him and so determined to steer him down the#same path. Repeating the cycle and all that#and when Tweek is old enough he plans on sharing the familyās secret as his father did with him#MRS Tweak on the other hand is an interesting one#we know so little about her but I feel like her personality also says a lot about her#sheās definitely better than Mr Tweak but sheās still very complacent and neglectful#I think what stands out to me the most about her though is the way her personality can completely switch up at times#most of the time she has this eerily calm almost docile personality#but other times sheās a LOT more attentive and caring#yk like a normal mom#COMPLETELY different from how she usually acts#but the episode that gets me the most is āGnomes#where she actively goes against Richardās attempt to manipulate the kids and use them for business ventures#yet this is the same mom that actively poisons her son? presumably for the business??#like it doesnāt make sense to me#Iāve seen someone suggest that Richard has been drugging her too#and BOY would that be a twist#definitely would explain the sudden shift in personality#i definitely think it would be interesting if she was in the dark about a lot of this too#not using this as an excuse as I still do think she is SOMEWHAT negligent on her own but I do think it could explain some things#south park

It's been years since I've been noticing this little thing I've been doing. There are moments where while thinking random stuff and making observations about whatever, I figure something out, like an epiphany, a discovery. Connected the dots.
It feels so elating, figuring stuff out without even intending to.
And that's just one of the core things about humans, we are curious, we explore, we discover. There have been several times I've figured stuff out and someone had either appreciated me or mocked it by "You just learned that now?" because apparently it was something that was already widely known. But when that happens I just cannot make the excitement go away. Because it doesn't even matter if it was a known fact, I didn't hear it from someone, I didn't study it in books or school, I figured it out by myself!
And I realized, this is how children feel when they excitedly show up to show you something or tell you something.
Curiosity and exploration is in our nature as humans and I believe when someone excitedly tells you, a kid or an adult, something they figured out and discovered even if it seemed to be a known fact, we shouldn't dismiss it but rather appreciate it. This encourages this specific core aspect of us which allows us to discover the things unknown.
#been noticing for a kong while now that the sun stays on the South while moving through the day cycle instead of right above#like we used to imagine#figured out why#it's something very silly but it brought a smile to my face#sun passes slightly on the south instead of overhead bcoz we are in the northern hemisphere. not the equator#ppl on rhe south plz confirm ny theory. does it pass on the north ?

Carol McCormick is the cig mom of the century and no one gives her credit for it. She tells her kids to hurry on home while the sun is setting, āin or out donāt waste the cool airā, her fingernails are yellow, she permanently smells like a pack of camels, her kids get used to tucking themselves into bed, she gives them her food, there is a haze of smoke wherever she is, and she hugs them tight before sending them to school or going to work. Carol isnāt a good mom but she loves them deeply even though thatās not enough.
#carol mccormick#kenny mccormick#karen mccormick#kevin mccormick#the mccormicks have me in a chokehold when I think ab them too long#Carol loves them so much but it just isnāt enough is it#Carol and Stuart are stuck in a cycle of substance abuse and his unemployment that it prevents them from even trying to get out#Cant you tell Iām insane#Itās stifling for Kenny because he is so outwardly poor#sp#south park

"Rally of the Damned: The Wendigo Awakens" is a supernatural thriller set against the rugged backdrop of the Black Hills during the legendary Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. The story follows a group of motorcycle riders whose gathering turns into a battle for survival as an ancient evilāembodied by the Wendigo, a creature from Native American folkloreāawakens. As eerie legends begin to manifest, a sinister force unleashes chaos, turning the rally into a battleground where riders and townsfolk alike are drawn into a terrifying fight for their lives. Through gripping chapters like "Whispers in the Black Hills" and "Firefight at Dusk," the novel weaves a tale of bravery, friendship, and resilience, as riders clad in leather face off against an insatiable darkness. This story combines themes of brotherhood, sacrifice, and redemption, drawing readers into a relentless journey where the roar of engines meets the chilling howl of spirits. It's a thrilling, unforgettable ride.
"Rally of the Damned II: The Skinwalker Chronicles" weaves a gripping tale of supernatural terror set against the raw, rebellious energy of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota. Friends Charlie, Jason, Ted, and Travis, seasoned rally-goers, face a new danger when a Skinwalkerāa fearsome creature from Navajo legendāemerges, fueled by vengeance and dark rituals. As bodies with horrific, ritualistic wounds start to appear, fear spreads through the biker community. Joined by allies like the enigmatic Spirit Rider and brave Sierra, the group prepares to fight this ancient evil with silver bullets, sacred chants, and ancestral knowledge. Together, they form a courageous front, intertwining age-old lore and modern resolve to protect their community from an otherworldly threat.
