We have a child now! Meet Dove, Darrel and Duvessa's child. She's a tranquil and smart toddler that's a bit lonely since Du won't bother to pay attention to her in the slightest, but nothing a trusty nanny can't solve.

We also fired (literally) the cleaning maid. He was expensive and lazy.

remember how when saiki was crushing on satou and wanted to talk to him, instead of yk.. actually talking to him, he found out all of his interests and displayed his own interest in those things in front of him to try to get him to notice him??

yeah, now imagine him doing that when he has a crush on anyone else..

hes such a silly and awkward teenage boy i love it, like buddy you CAN just talk to your crush, you dont have to try to get him to "notice you.." but hes too silly and awkward so thats like the most he would ever do and would still probably think that that counts as flirting

im just... wondering about how saikis terrible silly flirting tactics would translate if his crush was on one of his FRIENDS.. like someone he could actually be around and would see and talk to him.. would he just like be trying to impress them ?? moving toward them more ?? adopting more of their mannerisms and interests maybe ??

imagine that like EVERYONE in the group would notice it, but it wouldn't be like "omg saiki is flirting" it would be more like "omg why is saiki being extra awkward and talking more" because hes so painfully unclear about his intentions but hes usually so quiet and unassuming that this would be such a stark contrast to his usual behavior...

in general im not one to particularly “hate” certain common tropes in the genres and mediums of romance stories marketed towards women and girls i like, im like the only shoujo/josei manga reader on earth who doesn’t loathe love triangles for example - tropes, even if overused to the point of cliche, can be used well or poorly and i don’t tend to mind either way (hell i personally find it really fun to notice the patterns LOL)

BUT. I WILL SAY...... leading men who get jealous over the main character being motherly/sisterly/or just generally kind to some young kid (like a sibling or their own kid or a friend or like a random orphan) make me roll my eyes into the SUN bro dont tell me youre jealous of an 8 year old boy. how bout you step up and baby him too huh. baby the baby you pathetic little man. play CATCH with that kid or SO HELP ME

June Bug's name is what I came up with myself. Just bc it's what was in my head when I was visiting her at the shelter & it just Stuck. And I accepted it.

It's both a nod to the month I have adopted her in (pride babeyyyy) & also just a cute name in general

I think I'll call her June too. But June Bug is what I plan to have on file.
