A Grave Misunderstanding- The Unknown/Reader (Dead by Daylight Commission)
This was commissioned by @hexheathen! Hope you enjoy~
All the legends of that terrible place warned you of the consequences of peering into the unknown. Persistence and curiosity will end up getting you killed if you aren't careful...
Warnings: Toxic/Abusive Relationship, General Horror/Suspense, Late Night Shifts, Fear of the Dark, Body Horror, A Series of Terrible Decisions, One-sided Attraction, Obsession, Canon Typical Violence
It was yet another long night for you. Alone, just like you always were… You don’t even know why your boss keeps this shitty theater open for so long. It wasn’t like anyone came here during the weekdays and certainly not after nine at night. There just wasn’t enough business to justify such a thing though… Maybe you should just be grateful that you don’t have to face the public rush every single day like the rest of your coworkers.
You’re at least away from that jerk that you call a boyfriend…
You had stopped in your nightly closing duties, sitting in the midst of rundown arcade games that only barely function and a carpet that was totally ruined with soda, popcorn and other movie theater sweets that are far too overpriced to be bought or sold. Your shoes stuck to the ground and you rhythmically picked up and dropped one of your feet as you tested just how sticky the ground was.
“Ugh, are you serious?!” Your face wrinkles in disgust as you struggle to pull your tennis shoe off the carpeted floor. This was waaay above your paygrade to clean up… Sighing heavily, you pick yourself up off the bench and trudge your way over to the mop bucket that has stood nearly overflowing with dirty water.
“...I seriously hate this goddamn job…”
You slosh the water around with the mop and sling it against the linoleum floor. Why couldn’t this entire theater be like this? It’s so much easier to clean… You were ruminating on all things that were bad and just plain inconvenient in your life. You hated working alone at night. Your mind wanders too far for your liking and you focus on all the wrong things that shouldn’t really matter to you in the end.
Like the guy that cut you off on your way to work.
Or how your coworker just pushed all their unwanted tasks onto you without consulting you.
Or… Or how your boyfriend stays out for days at a time and never calls or messages you like he once did…
You sniffle softly as you watch brownish-grey water pool around your feet. It wasn’t just that… There was so much that was bothering you. He didn’t look at you like he once did, he didn’t say ‘hello’ or ask ‘how was your day, baby’... He- He just didn’t…
“Is… Is it really so much to ask for…? I-I just want to be understood…” Your voice trembled under your breath as you sniffled. Large tears welled in your eyes and streamed down your face. Great, now your makeup is ruined too… You pat your eyes dry with the collar of your uniform and struggle to get ahold of your raging emotions. Why are you even thinking about this stuff at a time like this? It had to be terrible for your already ailing mental health-
“Hey…”
You blink, snorting in the snot that threatens to spill out of your wet nose.
H-Huh…? Did you just-?
“H-Hello?” For a fraction of a second, your heart skipped a beat. Your body immediately sobers from the emotional stress that clouded your perception. Your tears dry and you subconsciously hold your breath, uncertain if you should really be waiting for a response or not.
…but you don’t hear anything else. Or… you at least think you don’t.
“Hello…?”
A chill runs down your spine and you suddenly feel like you were being watched by someone.
Or something…
Everyone knew about the stories. The stories about the Greenville theater, about people disappearing into thin air, disappearing after staying in the theater, alone, disappearing when questioning too many things, disappearing in front of large crowds…
“Hey, you-!”
You never believed in those stories. Disappearing into thin air in front of a crowd…? Yeah. Right… It’s just one of those urban legends that are always spreading around. You didn’t even hear about them until after you had started working at the theater, and, well… It’s not like you’ve seen or heard anything out of the ordinary.
“Hey! I’m talking to you!”
A nagging feeling was gnawing at the back of your head. Something was making the hairs on your body stand on end. You nervously shove your hands into your pocket, blindly feeling around until you finger the small container of pepper spray that you keep on your person as a ‘just in case’ measure. You weren’t ever sure carrying this around was ever really a good idea, but your boyfriend would always insist that you bring it with you when you were out alone.
Ah, your boyfriend-
You blink and the thought escapes to the back of your mind. You had a need to just… double check… Just to see if there were any dumbasses that tried to stay in after closing. It was something that you were warned about, given the theater’s reputation as an urban legend spot. You swallowed thickly and grabbed the mop what good was it going to do? and made your way towards the bathrooms.
“H-Hey! If there’s anyone here, you need to leave! I will call the cops if you don’t!” Your voice echoed in the empty bathroom. There was only the sound of water dripping from one of the faucets. You stepped up to one of the stalls and sucked in a deep breath. You couldn’t see anyone’s feet underneath the stall, nor anyone in the crack in the door.
“H-HEY-!!!”
THUD-!
You slammed the door open and…
Nothing.
There was nothing in there. Nothing in any of the stalls. You started to chuckle to yourself, nervous and on edge. Maybe working all these late shifts was taking a greater toll on you than you originally thought… Maybe you should switch to the daytime-
“Come here-”
You nearly jump out of your skin. For a fraction of a second, you couldn’t feel your own heart beating. The air was trapped in your lungs and your legs refused to work. You were trapped in a freeze response and could do nothing other than strain your ears over the sound of your entire body rolling and shifting in place. Did… Did you really just-
Against your better judgement, you poked your head out of the women’s restroom. Everything in the opening floor was just as you had left it. Some of the lights were on and the bucket of dirty water was right where it should be. You crane your head to the side, eyes straining in the darkness that lead towards the actual theater rooms. No… No, there’s no way in fucking hell that you’re going down there… This was a sensation that you had nearly forgotten about in your day-to-day adult life. The fear of what could be lurking in the dark… Whatever it was, it had to be someone pulling the shittiest prank in all of existence. Once you get your hands on them-
You… You think it came from the men’s room. You nudge the door and, of course, it’s open. Why didn’t you lock them before you started?! You should have just backed away and called the cops. So what if it was a false alarm? This is fucking terrifying! You push the door open with the handle of your mop and your eyes scan the harshly lit bathroom.
There’s…
Step-by-step, you edge your way inside. You shouldn’t be doing this… This is stupid… This is how dumbasses get killed in slasher movies-
“I-If… If there’s anyone in here, you b-better come out now! O-Otherwise I’m- I’m gonna k-kick your ass!” You tap your mop against the tiled wall.
“W-With a mop!”
…as you strained your ears, you heard something.
“URK-!”
There was shuffling in one of the stalls. You lowered your stance and strained your eyes for any movement- anything- but couldn’t see a thing. You thought you heard the sound of something… popping? Or maybe crunching, like a wrapper or some pop-rocks in a person’s mouth. Maybe it was chips…? Your mind was running wild and the more it got away from you, the more grotesque the possibilities became. Maybe it was bones breaking… or joints being popped out of place… Or… O-Or…
“Is… I-Is it…?”
Oh
My
Fucking
GOD-
Your heart nearly fell out of your ass. In spite of your body ceasing to function properly, you heard that voice in crystal clear quality. It was soft and light as air, as if the person speaking was frail and hoarse as though they were sickly. You couldn’t gauge much else about them, since it was so quiet and just… short. You couldn't hear any breathing, no wheezing and no… anything, really. The ambient noise in the bathroom was nearly silent, the hum of the fluorescent lights muted and the sound of your own breathing seemingly vanishing just as the voice did. Into thin air.
In… Into thin air-
“H-He- …hello…?” For some reason, you were drawn to a particular stall. You… You don’t know why you just… stepped up to it, pressing your ear against the cold, metal door. It slightly moved against your weight, showing that it was in fact not locked. You… didn’t push any further. There was a presence on the other side. Someone was there and the annoyance that you felt suddenly shifted into something different.
“Are… you… o-okay…?” What if… What if they needed help? What if they were sick o-or-?
Your heart seized in your chest as you heard that same terrible noise that you heard moments before. Somehow, you just knew they were leaning towards the door too. This was confirmed when the door was pushed back towards you, catching on the locking mechanism that was on the other side.
…….
…….
…….
“...don’t leave me behind…”
You had never run so fast in your entire life. You don’t think you had ever screamed so loudly, either. By the time cops showed up, you had screamed yourself into silence. Even though you had told them- told them!- that there was someone that sounded fucked up in the men’s restroom they just-
Sighed.
And rolled their eyes.
They didn’t bother trying to hide that they didn’t believe you. ‘Really, this shit again?’ was asked directly to your face. W-What…? Did they think it was some kind of prank?! That… That you were just making it up for attention?! They proved to you that there was no one in the bathroom but it didn’t make you feel any better. The cops didn’t check the rest of the theater. They just… left you there, telling you that misuse of emergency services was a crime that you could be charged for the next time that you called them like that. Like ‘that’?! Like what?! You were enraged when you got home and couldn’t sleep at all, no matter how exhausted you felt. When you told your boyfriend about this, he rolled his eyes and scoffed.
“Well, what did you expect? God, you’re such a drama queen!”
You instantly burst into tears.
What… the hell was even happening anymore…?
You had a few days off from work but you didn’t recover from what happened to you at all. That night kept repeating over and over again in your head when you were awake and in your dreams when you were asleep. You couldn’t talk about this with anyone. Somehow word had gotten out about you calling the cops while working the closing shift and everyone was probably calling you a coward or that you were just an attention whore…
It’s what your boyfriend thought of you so why not everyone else?
The voice that spoke to you continuously repeated in your head. Who… was that? Was it really your imagination? No… it was real. You had no proof, of course, but it was just so… so…
‘...don’t leave me behind…’
It twisted your stomach into knots. That voice was so desperate… The more you thought about it, the less scared you became. Huh… You were a little surprised. In the dark of your room, thinking about the most terrifying moment of your life started to make you feel more concerned than terrified. That voice was so quiet… so… desperate. If… something wanted to hurt you, it would have, right? You frowned. The longer you began to question things, the more you wondered if it really happened at all. It’s such a well known urban legend spot where people have gone missing. Why didn’t you disappear too?
As one of the two people that closed the theater down for the night, you had one of the three keys to enter the building. For some reason, your boss trusted you with it, even though it was a place that people liked to break into for the thrill of it. You had never done something like this before and never thought that you ever would, especially given that you had been utterly terrified only a few nights before. You were due back to work the very next day anyway but you didn’t think that you could wait to confirm your suspicions any longer. This might be the stupidest thing that you’ve ever attempted but so what?
It's not like anyone really gives a damn about what happens to you…
The theater was pitch black and eerily quiet when you approached it from the back. It was already well past closing time so it was no surprise that your coworker had already cleared out for the night but still… It was a little scary…
You sucked in a deep breath as you put the key for the employee entrance into its lock. You were a little surprised that it opened, secretly hoping that it wouldn’t have opened for whatever reason. Why wouldn't it work? You know that key works for that door… You were already losing your nerve and you hadn’t even set foot into the vacant building. Shaking your head, you suck in a deep breath and open the door.
….
Fuck, it’s dark in there… You already regret not bringing a proper flashlight. At least you have your phone… The light from your phone’s flashlight wasn’t great but it was a hell of a lot better than blindly feeling around in the dark.
“O-Okay… I-I’m coming in…”
Who were you even talking to? You still weren’t totally convinced that what you heard the other day was even real. If- IF- there was someone or something waiting for you in there then it only felt right to announce your presence when you were practically breaking into the building. W-Well… was it ‘breaking in’ if you had a key…?
You strained your ears as you timidly stepped inside the break room. Everything was just as it should have been inside. You… don’t know why you expected it to be any different but it wasn’t so… that’s good right?
R-Right?
“O-Oh shit-!” You jumped as you accidently scooted one of the break room chairs against the floor. You fumbled and tried to push it back, nearly knocking it over in the process. You stumbled out of the break room and towards the main lobby of the theater, the linoleum floor still a little wet from being mopped early and thus a little slippery under foot.
Goddamn-! U-Uhh…” You shined your light at your feet and stumbled towards the concession counter, resting your forearm on it as you held your breath for a moment. The silence was unnerving, almost unnatural, just like the dark was. The light from your phone seemed to just halt a mere few inches from your foot. It was so dark that you probably couldn’t see your hand even if it was resting on your nose… Shit, this isn’t right… Why the hell did you come here to this place-?!
“Is someone there?”
You nearly lost control of your bladder and fainted at the same time. Oh my GOD there really is someone here…!
“H-Hello…?” You pressed your back flat against the counter as you waited. A shiver ran down your spine as you heard a familiar popping sound, one that you had heard the last night that you had worked at the theater.
“Is… Is it you-?”
God, that voice was so… so strange but you couldn’t put your finger on why that was. It sounded like there was no breath behind the words that were being spoken. As if that made any sense at all… You swallowed the rising lump in your throat and you exhaled softly.
“I-It’s me… It’s-” You gave the voice your name. The silence was deafening on your ears. Shit… what if it wasn’t looking for you? W-What if-
“....you came back….”
It was spoken directly into your ear, as though whoever was speaking was looming directly over your shoulder. A scream was caught in your throat and you sank to the floor, utterly terrified. You waited for something terrible to happen, to be killed or… or something. When nothing happened, you released the breath you were holding and struggled to slow your rapidly beating heart.
Ba-dum
Ba-dum
Ba-dum
“...are you going to hurt me…?”
Ba-dum
Ba-dum
Ba-dum
“Is… Is it really so much to ask for…?”
Your eyes go wide as you hear the ghost of your own voice being spoken back at you. The air around you is still and you hear the sound of something creaking and straining underneath a great weight.
“W-Wha-?”
“…I-I just want to be understood…”
That… made you choke up a little. What… What was this…? You were told that the urban legend here was a monster, something that would spirit people away and steal their voices but…
God, this is really getting to you…
You couldn’t answer the voice, your throat squeezing shut as you heard the heartbreak in your own voice being parroted back. Parroted? M-Maybe… Maybe it was something more than that…
You don’t know for how long you sat there on the floor, not moving, not speaking… The presence behind you, leaning against the counter didn’t leave even after you fell utterly silent. You just… didn’t know what to say. What was there to even say? Maybe, if it wanted something else out of you, it would have just taken it. Maybe, like other urban legends, you didn’t do something right and it couldn’t take anything from you yet. Whatever the case, you just sat there and waited. And waited… And waited some more.
But nothing happened.
Even after you turned your phone’s flashlight off, nothing happened. The presence didn’t leave and it didn’t say or do anything else. It wasn’t until it was getting close to the opening shift to arrive at the theater did you finally move, and when you did, the presence behind you totally vanished into thin air.
H-Huh…
You didn’t tell anyone what you experienced that night. You never brought it up with anyone that you went back and re-experienced something supernatural in that place. Perhaps you were just losing your mind… Perhaps there really was something freaking about that theater that no one wanted to talk about. Whatever it was, you thought that it would probably be a secret that you would have taken to your grave. You got back home and couldn’t stop thinking about what had happened there. Maybe you should have ran far, far away but how could you when it was just getting interesting? And after all…
You couldn’t remember the last time that another being was so kind to you…
The next time that you went to work, you were still on edge but not nearly as scared as you were the last night that you were there. Like last time, you announced your arrival and got to work cleaning the theater, starting from the back and working your way up towards the front. As the night went on and you didn’t hear anyone calling out for you, you began to become disappointed. Did… Did you upset them in some way? You were genuinely becoming sad, shoulders drooping and sighing heavily as you mopped despondently.
“Did… Did I do something wrong?” You absentmindedly slapped your mop against the wet ground. You just wanted someone to talk to, even if they were just a figment of your imagination.
“Shh, it’s alright.”
Your ears perk up at the sound of a frail voice speaking out to you from behind the concession counter. There was a kitchen that was bathed in darkness and you hesitated as you took a few steps in its direction.
“H-Hello? Is… Is it you, strange voice?” Was that rude? It might have been rude… You cringed and was about to apologize when they spoke out once again.
“Come here…”
You couldn’t stop a violent shiver from wracking your spine. There was something about that voice that was totally unnatural but you no longer felt the fear that you once felt. You were in the pitch-black with this being for the better part of a night and nothing bad had happened to you… You stopped just shy of the kitchen’s threshold and you prepared yourself for the being to speak again.
….
….
….
“Hello-”
It made your heart seize in your chest. How could something be so soft spoken yet so chilling at the same time? After your initial fear passed, you exhaled deeply and you forced a smile to your face. It wasn’t like you were lying by doing this… You’re just a little on edge, that’s all…
“H-Hey! You’re still here!” You were happy that they were still here, waiting for you. The presence in the darkness was still there, staring at you keenly. It laid heavily on your shoulders but instead of feeling objective terror you felt at ease.
Though there was still something lingering that made your skin crawl.
You didn’t know what you wanted to say to the being. At first, you didn’t talk about much, just about who you were, what you were doing there, wondering aloud if you were intruding on the being’s home… You didn’t get much of a response out of them, only a few phrases that it seemed to use to communicate with you.
“Yes, that’s right-”
“No, no-”
“What is it?”
Not all of the voices were the same but they weren’t at all different. It’s like the being was parroting after all, only there seemed to be genuine intelligence behind the responses it chooses to say to you. You weren’t able to learn much about them, given their limited vocabulary, but the most important thing that you learned was that they seemed to linger in the dark places of the movie theater, calling out to you whenever you moved too far away for them to be heard well. After the first few days of speaking to them regularly, you began to turn a few more lights off as you worked, giving the presence more than enough roaming area to stay close to you so you both could talk.
“It’s just that… You’re probably one of the only people to actually talk to me, you know?” You were idly rolling the powered off vacuum cleaner around the arcade area, procrastinating the work you had left. The area was almost too dark for your liking but your paranoia was muted by the presence that hung over you heavily. You could feel it pressing against you with enough force that your shoulders began to sag from the weight.
“...”
They said nothing but your ears began to ring. You heard no breathing, only the sound of something shifting and popping in the darkness. You swallow thickly as your skin begins to crawl.
“...him- …him- …him-”
W-What? ‘Him’? Him who-? Oh.
“Do you… mean my boyfriend?” Silence answered you but it was filled with anticipation. You hesitated for a moment, trying to judge their intentions but quickly nodded as you grew annoyed with the thought of him.
“Yeah… ‘Him’... What about him? He’s a freaking asshole!” You huffed as you left the vacuum where it was standing, going to sit down on a nearby bench. The presence strained against the confines of the darkness, eager to hear more.
“I can’t believe he left me here!”
Your throat grew tight. Y-Yeah, actually…
“He… didn’t believe me when I told him about you… He made fun of me for being scared that first day…” You chuckled nervously as you tested the ground’s stickiness with the soles of your shoes. It’s unpleasant on your ears, almost as much as the being’s voice as it echoed voices laced with betrayal.
“Why did he leave me?”
“He made a promise-”
Tears throbbed behind your eyes. You sniffled and rubbed your nose on the back of your jacket sleeve as you remembered the look of pure annoyance on your boyfriend’s face as you told him about what was a terrifying encounter that you had while you were alone at work in the middle of the night.
He really doesn’t care about you, does he?
“I… I think he wouldn’t care if I just disappeared one night… “ Your voice trembled slightly as you struggled to swallow down your emotions.
“Do you… really make people disappear? Maybe… Maybe if I disappeared one day, then everyone would be better off…” You laughed bitterly, instantly feeling a bolt of fear running through your body. There was tension in the air and after a moment of silence, the being spoke out of the darkness.
“....don’t leave me here…”
It made you choke up a little bit… You shook your head and tried to smile, ultimately failing as tears streamed down your face.
“S-Sorry… ‘m sorry…”
You had nearly forgotten what it felt like to be needed by another person. You really should leave that jerk… You don’t deserve to be upset every single day of your life for no damn reason…
“He should- G-Go away!”
You were surprised by the forcefulness of the being’s words. It sounded like something was squirming in the darkness, squirming in anticipation.
“W-Well… Yeah… I-I guess so… But-” You thought about it a little bit. You thought about all the times that he was mean to you, that he yelled at you or ‘forgot’ important things or when he ignored you for days at a time…
“Y-You know what-? Yeah. I do wish he’d just leave!” You scoffed, feeling less and less sad the more you thought about it.
“Maybe I should leave him before he tries to dump me! I don’t even think that loser can find anyone that will put up with his bullshit…” You stood up and wiped your face again. You were still feeling down but you were already a lot better than you were before.
“Thanks for that. I think I needed to get that off my chest…” You waited for a reply but didn’t receive one. Odd… The presence wasn’t nearly as strong as it was before. In fact… it was practically gone. Huh…
Their sudden departure made you sadder than you were willing to admit. Were they gone for good? You hoped not… You were going to miss them if they somehow disappeared… The rest of your shift you worked, dejected and upset. The only thing of note that happened was your phone going off in your pocket.
BZZT!
BZZT!
You nearly missed it, since you always had it on silent mode. You were lost in thought and your body was a little stiff from constantly moving so you didn’t realize you were getting a call until after you missed it. You furrowed your brows and frowned.
Who would be calling you at this time of night?
Your brows raised up to your hairline as you scrolled through the dozens of phone calls that you had received in the past half hour. Over and over again, the same number called you, sometimes hanging up and calling you again before the call went to your voicemail. You had an additional eight voicemails, all of which were from the very same person that was calling you repeatedly.
Your boyfriend…
With trembling fingers, you clicked on one of the voicemails, hearing your boyfriend’s annoyed but clearly terrified voice on the other end of the line as he yelled at you for being a ‘pathetic, childish bitch’ for playing such a ‘stupid fucking prank’ on him. What… What was he talking about? You didn’t do anything! Heart pounding out of your chest, you called him back, not bothering to listen to his other voicemails. Maybe if you did, it would have saved you… Maybe, but-
You didn’t receive an answer. No matter how many times you called, he never answered you back. Your entire body was trembling as the possibilities ran rampant through your head.
Was he pranking you?
Maybe someone was pranking him…
W-What if he’s been hurt?
W-What… W-W-What if- i-if-
Maybe if you called the police this time, it would have made the difference. But they didn’t help you last time. They scolded you for calling them. If there’s a problem, you might need to solve it yourself…
You need to face your problems instead of just running away or relying on others to help you…
The home that you shared with your longtime boyfriend was dark. Unsurprising, since even when you left work early, it was still past twelve a.m.. You aren’t sure what you were looking for. His car? There. The door? Closed and locked. The windows? Also all seemed closed and locked…
Unlocking and stepping into your own house felt foreign and alien… It’s like you have never been inside of this place before, in spite of the fact that you have lived here for some years. You strained your ears for a moment, holding your breath as you simply-
-listened.
You couldn’t hear anything whatsoever. It was just like most nights that you come home, only even more hostile, if such a thing were possible. You left the front door open as you gathered the courage to speak out.
“H-Hello?”
Silence. Were you losing your mind? Maybe he was asleep, as he always was, and would storm out of the bedroom, pissed off that you woke him up yet again. You don’t think you would have minded that much… Anything was better than this terrible silence.
“H-Hey, are you up there?”
…again, nothing. You swallowed thickly as you debated on what to do. Maybe you should just call the cops… You have more than enough reason to do so, right? As you pulled your phone out, you heard your boyfriend calling you from upstairs.
“H-Hey-!”
The way he called your name made you cringe. As much as your vital organs seized violently, a wave of relief washed over you. So he was okay then?!
“H-Hey! S-Sorry for waking you up! I was just so worried about you-! Why did you call me so much?!” You waited for a reply as you began to take your shoes off. Silence. Is he fucking serious right now?! Giving you the silent treatment when he’s the one that called you nonstop?!
“-i-it’s not funny! Knock it off!”
You furrowed your brows.
“W-What? What are you-?” You walked towards the stairs.
“-come here! Now!”
Again with that tone… You were getting annoyed the longer this went on.
“What’s your fucking problem, dude?! What the hell did I do to deserve this right now?! Huh?! Hey! I’m fucking talking to you!” Your patience has eroded beyond what you were capable of dealing with. You angrily stomped up the stairs, faltering as you nearly reached the top.
“...p-please-”
Your boyfriend was whimpering your name. Instantly the rage that you felt dissolved into something much more terrifying. Panic began to spread throughout your body and you fished out your phone and began to dial the police.
“H-Hey?! Hey?! Are y-you okay?! Hey-?!” You called his name and began to back down the stairs. Fear made you tremble but hearing him calling out to you again, only much weaker this time, spurred you into action.
“S-SHIT-!!! HANG ON-!” You tripped over your own feet as you rushed up the stairs. He didn’t sound like he was playing around! He actually s-sounded hurt or- or-!
As you ran down the top floor hallway, you yelped as you slipped in something wet and sticky that coated the floor. You had to flounder around as you desperately tried to regain your balance, your hand slapping against the wall as you struggled to reground yourself.
“W-What-?! W-WHAT?!”
A metallic smell hits your nose with enough intensity to make you gag. The little surge of confidence that pushed you forward suddenly died in your throat as you freezed in place. Fear had gripped your limbs coldly and you couldn’t move no matter how much you needed to. Your breath was squeezed out of your tightening throat and you felt pure terror as you heard your boyfriend call out to you again. Or what sounded like him, anyway…
“P-Please- C-Come! PLEASE! …don’t leave me here…”
Your eyes nearly bulge out of your head as the door to your bedroom slowly pushes open. You heard a hauntingly familiar popping and cracking noise, like pop rocks in someone’s mouth or someone’s bones being popped out of joint or broken all together. Bile burns the back of your throat as something your eyes couldn't fully comprehend clumsily stumbled out of the bedroom. Something hard slammed into the door and a glint of something wet and sharp shined in the dim light of your home. You blink your eyes repeatedly, tears falling down your face as you wonder if this was really happening. It’s just a bad dream, right? It has to be a bad dream!
I-It’s only a- a bad- a b-bad-
“You’re probably one of the only people to actually talk to me, you know-?”
The second that you finally saw it in all of its terribleness, you opened your mouth to scream.

Can I get more info about what's going on in nz? I watch global news regularly and nothing about this has come up and I find this highly disturbing.
we elected a neoliberal nightmare of a government who are destroying our health system, water system, ferry and rail system, environment and democracy for profit. people are literally dying in hospitals because there is no doctor in hospitals in multiple rural towns and they just have a consultation on an ipad. the government are trying to frame Health NZ as having a budget deficit of 1.5 billion when in reality that deficit exists because they provided like 3 billion dollars with of tax cuts they couldn’t afford. National cuts spending to health every time they get in government and the disjointed DHB system has been unable to keep up financially with the growing population and health needs.
i personally have just been FUCKED by national as for the last two years i have been navigating our labyrinth of a health system, not working due to being intensely suicidal, trying to find therapy to get better and there just isn’t any available. so i payed for a private autism diagnosis to try and access funding for therapy through the ministry of disability and also get under their umbrella because they actually treat you like a person there and also don’t actively seem to want you dead like they do in the mental health system. but the process took so long that by the time i got my diagnosis and through the referral system, national had yoinked the funding and deemed that therapy will no longer be covered by the disability funding system. all therapies. for disabled people.
oh also they’re like trying to start a race war or something as both minor parties in the 3-way coalition government are trying to negate the Treaty of Waitangi in law, and they’re also attacking the judiciary and had to be told to stop by our attorney general, who they ignored obviously.
our prime minister answers every question with “i say to you” followed by just a literal lie, they’re all just lying through their teeth, i literally have an OIA request about when David Seymour, our deputy-PM-in-waiting (don’t ask) said that preschool education needed to be reviewed because they were being prevented from teaching phonics. they’re not. someone just expressed concern that that might be happening to him, and apparently he is basing government policy on that?? or at least using it to falsely justify it to the nation.
their ideas are all bad and disproven by evidence-based studies, despite their slogan being “we’re going to make evidence-based decisions”. New Zealand has hit a funding wall where we’ve kicked the can too far down the road on like everything and it’s all starting to collapse at once and this government are not only letting it happen, they’re actively helping it along because they’ve all got shares in private rival companies or mates they want to give contracts to (our former national PM got paid insane money to write an insanely biased report attacking our ministry of social housing) or they’ve had their careers helped along by lobbying firms or they want to work for lobbying firms after they leave parliament.
the speaker of the house (who is right now being accused of not dealing with racism within his own party because of course he isn’t, he’s gerry fucking brownlee, the most hated man in christchurch) has allowed lobbyists unprecedented unrecorded entry to parliament. the minister for conservation keeps “forgetting” to write his lobby dinners in his diary. one of them told an mp “he’s not in mexico anymore”. no one is getting in trouble for this shit while the left are being raked over the coals. there’s like so much more. no one can keep up. and nothings being done about it.
tldr; help

You know what, this is really bothering me and I don’t care if my irl friends see this at this point.
So. My psychiatrist is actively making it hell to peruse top surgery.
Back in early June, after two months of being on a wait list I was able to finally enter the consultation process at the plastic surgeon that my main doctor referred me to. Everything went swimmingly! The surgeon even said that should everything go smoothly, we could set up the surgery in 2-3 months. I was, to put it lightly, ecstatic. I hate having breasts. I hate feeling them all the time. Wearing bras is the worst, constantly being aware that they’re there. But I finally had a light at the end of the tunnel.
And then Dana goddamn Foster stepped in.
I wish to note that her profile SPECIFICALLY MENTIONS specializing in LGBTQ+ issues, hence why I do not feel bad at ALL for dropping her name (even if it helps at least one other trans person avoid her, it would all be worth it).
She had been my psychiatrist for roughly a year at that point? We never really talked about me being trans specifically, however, she knew that my chosen name is Ned and I go by he/him. We only really talked about my meds, and effects from the meds. The most we talked about outside of this was how my work was going or if I had any plans for the weekend. Small talk.
Anyways, we needed a Letter of Approval from a psychiatrist to be able to go ahead with the surgery, and so we sent it forwards to Dana without a second thought. The next session I enter with her, she starts the call by saying she had declined approving the letter. I was a little shell shocked that she didn’t even talk to us about it first, but she stood her ground. She said that with my anxiety/paranoia that I “Wouldn’t be able to handle the post op aftercare” and that we needed to find the source of my trauma before I could handle something like that. I was devastated. I tried explaining to her how this was something I had been looking forward to for a long time and how declining it before even talking to me was awful, but she didn’t back down. Eventually, after enough of standing my ground, she said that should my therapist agree that top surgery would be beneficial to me, she would approve the letter. She ended the call by reiterating the crisis hotline, and that if I wanted to kill myself to get to a hospital. At least she’s vaguely aware of the trans experience enough to know the high suicide rates.
So smash cut to therapy like a week or two later. Obviously, my therapist sees no point in withholding a surgery that would ONLY be beneficial to my mental health. The recovery process as well would be at home, only needing to spend a few hours at the hospital post op before being able to rest at home, alleviating a lot of potential paranoia I could experience. So, she sends a notice to Dana about how she’s ok with it, and says that she only wants to check in with my main doctor to make sure she doesn’t want me to be on hrt first.
Now, imagine yesterday, me waking up and getting ready for my call with Dana at 11. Finally approaching the light at the end of the tunnel, right?
.
Dear reader, that light was not the beautiful warmth of the sun, but rather a freight train approaching rapidly to run me over.
Now all of a sudden she never said that she would approve the letter if my therapist approved, and that “You should just get a new psychiatrist who would approve of this, because I will not”. Despite me and another family member being there and hearing that initial wording. I was. Pissed. The call then went on as normal, albeit very strained. We discussed upping my meds to help with me feeling more stressed (gee I wonder WHAT IN THE WORLD could have caused me to feel more stressed), and Dana, in her 150 iq wisdom, says that she never set my meds to be 3ml. On the bottle of medicine she prescribed us. She then proceeded to try and blame both my main care doctor AND the pharmacy for “making a mistake on the bottle.”
The bottle that they just print the label off from your order. But yeah sure the dosage I’ve been taking for months now was just a pharmacy error! Let’s just ignore how it got refilled MULTIPLE TIMES without ever getting that error noticed! How convenient!
And now, this morning, as we’re looking into a new psychiatrist, I noticed something really funny about my patient chart. My gender dysphoria diagnosis was magically gone. Gee, how convenient!
I think that is what pushed me over this edge. This went from “oh, maybe this is just her misremembering” to actively malicious. I feel disgusted, upset, angry, and just sad. Really sad. Anyone who’s ever had to find a new psychiatrist you know how long the process takes to get in. My mood has been worse, I’ve been feeling so physically ill, I’ve had many intrusive thoughts about just taking a knife to my chest and getting rid of my tits myself, it’s awful.
I don’t even know what the point of this post is, I think I just need to get this off my shoulders.
I feel so tired.

popping on to give some updates!
- updated blog icon to match @peachiiihearts (ily dew) - updated pinned list for june bdays (with the exception of my own, but there's several muses whose bdays i'm excited for, so hopefully i can hop on to do stuff for them) - considering updating blog header?? not sure - trimming down muse list in the background, will probably post what muses i'm dropping soon(ish??) - working on getting muse pages finished so i can share carr.d link, may just share carr.d link without the pages being done. - a few more oc pages are done, others have been started
other general updates below the cut, somewhat unrelated to rp stuff but adjacently related to blog status i guess? feel free to keep scrolling if you'd like! no pressure ♡♡
Tumblr media
tl;dr / me attempting to condense it all here. i haven't been around as much due to mental health (probably the second biggest reason) as well as stressing about money-related things; i don't want to bring that energy and such onto here so i've been avoiding it, more or less. i've been working a lot the last two weeks, in part so i can catch up with rent and try to get ahead of that and bills, and i think i'll start to have free time in about a week / week and a half (as my birthday this month comes up, funny enough lol) since i've been all over the place due to work, that's why some of my activity is all over the place. my shifts at work vary from overnights (think 10pm to 6am) to early mornings (around 2am - 7am, 4am - 9am, etc) and sometimes somewhat close to each other- so i really mostly have time to come home, eat, wind down and relax. so if i hop online, it's moments like now (where it's like, 2:30am-ish) for a little bit before one of my early shifts.
have also been dealing with random aches, pains and headaches as well (woke up with a really bad migraine a week ago when i was gonna try to be online / try to write, so that didn't happen) so i've been attempting to self-care while i can, and i'm trying to get up the courage to reach out to a few therapists for consultations so i can finally like. i dunno- try to get that part taken care of since my last therapist didn't work out and it's been a while. i'm also trying to fit in getting new glasses, since i've had my current pair for, uh- way longer than i should have.
but anyway. aside from the stress and still slow recovering from the legal stuff with evicting ex-roomies early this year (as well as avoiding the attempts of updates people have tried to give me about them, because there's people who have been attempting to tell me about them lol) i've been slowly doing better. trying to do what i can to fix up my place and trying to get things in shape on my end. i've been far happier without them here, i can actually relax and like. start to get to know myself and be myself again. it's been?? a little bit bittersweet, honestly. complicated feelings for different reasons, i guess. i had to hide parts of myself because of the first set of roomies, and i didn't get to bring those parts back for a while.
i've been finally watching through some anime on my backlog and i've been resisting the urge to joke about possibly writing dungeon meshi characters or others- but there's a few characters i've picked up (one i'm finally indulging myself on trying to write lol) and a few that that i'm waiting until i finish trimming the muse list until i decide to pick them up- for my own sanity, really. i'm trying to be less attached to them and more 'do i get to write for you aside from saying i'd like to? then bye' about some of them.
but anyway. i hope all of you have been doing well. think of this as a bit of a vent post? i haven't done one of those in a while, haha. it's been an interesting year, but hopefully soon i'll get to be active here again- i really miss writing, so hopefully soon i'll be able to get back on here and just. write and interact with some of ya'll again.
if you'd like to try to keep in touch better, i've got a disc.ord i can exchange with mutuals.

ok i wouldn't normally make a post about mental health in the tags for people to actually see, but if you're considering TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation) because you're at the end of your rope, do it.
(obviously consult with your psych, ****I am not your doctor****)
very long commentary + procedure explanation below.
cw for bad mental health, depression, suicidal ideation, eating disorder mention (no details, as triggering as this cw tag)
for background, I have had extremely severe depression my entire life, hand-in-hand with suicidal ideation, a severe lifelong eating disorder, ocd, adhd, anxiety, the works. depression, anxiety, and ocd runs in my family, and my family life has historically been incredibly toxic if not outright abusive, as well as having been in abusive romantic/sexual relationships.
i have been on a number of different medications (from SSRIs, SNRIs, anti-psychotics, etc.) with very little success. i have been in various higher levels of care for months at a time. i have tried (medically administered) ketamine. nothing has made a dent.
very recently, i had a severe episode where i was basically bed ridden for six months. it got to the point where my two different therapists, psych, and dietician were all separately recommending a higher level of care. if you're anything like me, you can't afford that shit, let alone taking weeks at a time off from work.
all that to say, ya girl has Been Depressed.
tms was basically a last ditch effort before I would have to do residential, and i didn't want to do that again, only in part because of the aforementioned reasons.
it's not magic. i'm going to say that right away. it's absolutely not going to magically make you happy.
i've been going 5x a week for 6 weeks (none on weekends), and it takes about 30 minutes to do two different stimulations — depression (20 minutes) and ocd (10 minutes). this is my specific regimen, yours might be different. after the 6 weeks and weekly evaluations, I'm tapering down to 3x a week, then 2x a week for 2 weeks (total of 37 sessions). my provider would like me to do 44 sessions total (as opposed to standard 37) but i guess health insurance doesn't always cover the additional sessions, so we're waiting to hear back.
when i started, my evaluation levels were in the 60s. now they're in the 30s. they think they can get me to the teens. i'm already feeling so much relief, i don't know how they think I can feel any better, honestly. my provider used the Beck Depression Inventory, which I just looked up — I am still considered to have severe depression with my score in the 30s, but by god, cutting in half from the 60s? genuinely life changing.
basically, they test your brain regions (and you can get a brain scan for an additional cost and more accurate treatment, but I opted not to) by lightly zapping different regions of your brain to see how your toes and then your fingers twitch. i don't know how it works, but it's how they determine what voltage to use and what areas need stimulation. you're wearing a personal cloth cap with a grid on it to guide them, and the machine itself basically looks like one of those old fashioned hair driers.
it's not painful, but it can be uncomfortable. it feels a little bit like a woodpecker tapping on your skull. if it is painful, tell them. i was feeling a sharp pain in one of my teeth, and they adjusted the positioning. my right hand fingers still twitch when I'm getting the depression zaps, but not the ocd. honestly, I have almost fallen asleep, because it's kind of meditative, and i'm on a very high level. if i'm remembering correctly, it's like 2 seconds on, 10 seconds off? or 5 seconds off? it's not constant.
i read during the depression one, and have to "lightly" trigger myself with the ocd (if you've ever done an ERP/ERP therapy, a gentle version of that so your anxiety is at a 5-7, not a 10 but also not a 3) so I can't read during that one. I listen to music, and my provider has offered to put on netflix or hulu.
during the depression one, the only thing you're really encouraged to do is something mentally positive — don't listen to your Sad Girl TM music, or anything like that. listen/read/watch something that you find pleasant and enjoyable and something that generally makes you happy.
they don't start you at your specific max voltage — they start you low and you build up in increments the first week or so. the first few times are the most uncomfortable, and you might get a headache afterwards, but i never did. after a few sessions, you stop really noticing it.
****there is a VERY (<1%) slight chance of seizures, but i believe only in people who are already epileptic, heavy drinkers, or on specific medications. there is no chance of you going home and having a seizure, it would happen while receiving the treatment.*****
i can not tell you how much my mood has improved since starting this treatment a month and a half ago.
I was really dubious, and didn't have high hopes. I have a friend I met when we were both in a higher level of care who is similarly resistant to depression treatments — she did tms before me and didn't experience much relief. however, ketamine seems to be helping her and it didn't help me! so, remember, every single person is different. what works for me, may not work for you. but i do think it's worth trying.
it doesn't happen right away, and they tell you this upfront. I think I really only started feeling noticeably better around week 3 or 4?
honestly, I think a huge part was just being forced out of the house 5x a week (I was working from home exclusively atp, which was getting me in slight trouble at work despite having permission) forced to interact with other humans, if only briefly/professionally. I scheduled mine at 08:30, right when they open, so I had to force myself to get up at a reasonable time to make the train, get there, etc. and so I didn't have to go on my lunch break or after work.
(a slight disclaimer: at this point in my depressive episode I was using weed to numb out. I wasn't using a lot (at least, by the standards of my former friend group?) but I was smoking a bowl each night. this wasn't a problem for my providers, especially because I'm in a state where it's legal, but do make sure to let them know if you use weed or any other substances, as it will impact the voltages or something. i was told it isn't a problem, so long as i'm not coming to the appointments high. I've been trying to cut down to only a few times a week, and i've been really successful without really any problems, which I'm taking as another sign of my improved mental health.)
I didn't really need the reminder, but the practitioner did remind me a few times that tms does not cure your depression, and it doesn't make you happy.
the way she put it, is it kind of brings the "levels" (of.... what I'm not sure, sorry. google.) of your brain to a more neutral state, which then makes it easier for you to experience happiness or enjoyment, cutting through the fog of depression and anhedonia. this has absolutely been my experience.
like, i'm not going to lie to you and say this has cured me. according to my scores, i'm still severely depressed. but i can not stress how much relief I feel.
I've never been able to get out of bed in the morning, not even when I was a kid, and while I'm still snoozing my alarm until the last possible second, once I'm up? I feel awake. I feel fine. I'm smiling at fucking birds and flowers on my way to the train. I'm not crying over every little thing, and even better? I'm not numb, or trying to be numb because I feel overwhelmed. I feel, god, cheerful waiting for the train to take me to my very boring job. i'm actually looking to make friends and date again, and making creative goals again after months and months of nothing.
no, it hasn't really helped my severely unmedicated adhd — however, I don't really feel the overwhelming feeling of dread at approaching a project that I've procrastinated on for work. i'm honestly still just as distractable, but I'm also finding that cheap sources of dopamine (tiktok doomscrolling, scrolling tumblr) aren't as appealing, and I eventually come back to the task I have to do. do I hate the task less? no, but like, it's more of a necessary evil, as opposed to a crushing despair.
i'll also say it hasn't really helped me progress in my ed recovery. without details on that, i'm at a relatively healthy place after some higher level treatment, and working on maintenance, which everyone tends to agree is much harder than the recovery period. i've done this rodeo a few times, and generally agree. however I can only assume that making progress on that will be infinitely easier when I'm not laying in bed for 20 hours a day.
honestly, the funniest part of this is I've started noticing how much my very incompetent roommate pisses me off. before, I was so depressed I either didn't notice or have the capacity to process how irritating they are (they are the definition of weaponized incompetence, but that's for a different post) because I was so in my head and hopeless, and now? now i'm annoyed, and while that's not, like, an ideal emotion to have towards someone you live with, it's vastly preferable to feeling just nothing. i just roll my eyes to myself, take a deep breath, and move on.
something that was stressed upon me was that, in order for tms to work, you have to put in the work to help it along. like, if your brain is getting set to a neutral baseline, you have to work to keep it from slipping back into depressive habits.
semi-regular exercise like going for a walk on your lunch hour, eating reasonably well, sleeping regularly and enough but not too much, not doomscrolling too much, finding a stimulating hobby like idk crochet or painting or book club — anything that you derive actual enjoyment from. all those really annoying things you hear from people who say things like "have you tried yoga?"
those were so far out of reach for me before. like i've said, i've been quite literally bed ridden all of this year, and not much better in the past. those things actually feel somewhat attainable to me now, for the first time in my life.
honestly, if this is even half as well as how non-mentally ill people feel all the time, I'm a bit furious lol i knew I was starting from a lower rung on the ladder, I didn't realize that rung was literally underground and covered in ice and slime and that most people are miles above me wearing grippy boots. i don't know if this analogy works. whatever.
all of this to say: if you're thinking about tms, and aren't sure because it sounds kind of woo-woo or scary, i'd give it a try.
it's not cheap — my insurance covers everything except my copay, which is $50 per session. that is steep and it adds up. when the alternative was somehow finding the time and money to drop $10k+ on a month+ of residential or php again because I wasn't safe, knowing it honestly may not help much, as it hasn't in the past? it was a pretty clear choice. at least where I go, all insurances were accepted and cover the treatments in some capacity, and I believe a lot also have sliding scales. I'm unfortunately not sure about medicaid/care.
in terms of continuing treatment post-tms, i'm obviously going to continue my medication regimen, and meeting weekly with my outpatient mental health team. many people do maintenance sessions every few months, depending on their mood. we'll see what I need to do.
this post is already a mile long, so if you made it this far, um, gold star! i hope this was at least mildly informative. I know I've used tumblr and reddit to see anecdotal experiences for various medications and therapies, so I'm hoping this reaches at least one person who needs it. I may edit this post at a later date if I think of anything. feel free to ask me questions (within reason, and please with trigger warnings) and I will try to answer them to the best of my abilities, but again, I am one person, with one person's unique experiences, and I am not a doctor. :)

I’m not gonna stop you from your Cheerful Chip fan fiction
Matter in fact To be honest I’m always wonder what kind of wonderful improved artful art than the last art will be with you and Chip will be
It’s just that I’m think there is a certain sad wet cat waiting on the porch metaphorically saying
But beside that, Your Art has improved over the time and I am glad to have witnessed it
-H/B Anon
P.s. I don’t know if the wording color is for you ,for me it’s Black
P.p.s. How bout role swap, our beloved Himbo and Bimbo as Toons and their beloved Chelly as a Cog (a tall Chelly is something )
hiiiiiiii nonny~ hehe thank you very much for all of the encouraging words, I appreciate it so much!!!! <3 don't worry, misty will get the braincell soon. however. for now we have more pressing things to discuss. the role swap au.
You got me going again SOOOO much lmao- Here they are!!!! The poly roleswapped!!! Unfortunately Chelly. does not get much taller lol She's just a bit taller than the tallest possible toon species'. Chelly is based on those cute little vacuums with the little faces on them. You've seen those before, right? If not please look them up they're so cute.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'LL WRITE ALL THE INFO UNDER THE CUT BC THIS GETS VERY LONG <3
Chip is a wolf toon, and Misty is a sheep toon! Both ideas were by my lovely friend @photon-crest-art whose input I appreciate sooo much!!! her ideas got me going foaming at the mouth crazy over this role swap even more than I already was SDHGDSGHDSHS also tagging @frostbite-the-bat bc they also hyped me up a lot while I was in the process of making all these!!! <3
When it comes to the whole override thing, Chip just. Goes absolutely wild at night sometimes. He's a werewolf!!! But. literally since he's already a wolf. this was also photon's idea thank you photooooon heehee <3
Misty has her weather powers still! So she can still change weather phases and essentially smite people with lightning if they make her really mad lol
Unfortunately both toons are outcast because of their respective 'quirks'. However, to their surprise, one person does support them through it all! They weren't expecting it to be this absolute nervous wreck of a cog who is, surprisingly, very very silly and toon-like! She clings to them like glue, but they appreciate it so much!! I feel like toon Chip and toon Misty would both be very sad very lonely toons, perhaps becoming more prone to bouts of low laff and poor health as such from such a poor mental state. However, they've got each other now and Chelly too!! Just like how the normal toon Chelly's health was pretty shit due to her mental state but improved having Chip and Misty around, she's now able to pay that love back ten-fold in this au!! Hehe it always comes back to 'love heals' with me <3
OH YES AND I WROTE CHELLY'S COG STATS!!!! a. and potential bossfight cutscenes. um. yeah. I went a little overboard haha. these cutscenes are uh. I think they're longer than the ones in-game??? I. don't know. I think they are. sorry not sorry >u<

Opening Cutscene
The Toons enter the doors at the far back of the building, leading them to the real cog clinic inside. The Mechanician is seen speaking to a Flunky. Neither cog seems to notice their approach, as they are focused on their consultation while the Toons get closer.
“...and that should do it then, little sprout!”
“Are you sure this is alright, Ms. Honeywell? Wouldn’t the Chairman get angry over that?”
At the Flunky’s concerns, the Mechanician fiddles with her hands. She shakes her head before re-addressing the Flunky.
“...R-Right. He may see it as ‘slacking’, but… well. You know how I feel about that. Just… try to heed my instructions to the best of your ability.”
“Whatever you have the room to do, okay, bud? Remember, your health comes first.”
“Yes, ma’am! Thank you again.”
The Flunky begins to fly away, and with a nod, she sees him off.
“Of course. Come back any time!”
The Mechanician sighs, shaking her head.
“Ugh. You’d think that man-baby would realize sooner… without us all, he’s…-”
She trails off, turning upon noticing the Toons. She startles, letting out a squeak at their presence, but tries to relax herself to make conversation with them.
“Ah! T-Toons?! Uh- Ahem.”
“Um… hello there! Are you… perhaps here for a check-up? I apologize, but… um, ahaha.. I-I only know how to treat cogs.”
“Unless you… have an appliance in need of fixing? I can do that too…”
The Toons get angry. The Mechanician pulls her hands up to her chest, taking a few steps back, clearly nervous.
“Eep! O-Okay, message received… U-Um… oh, look! Is that, um, a doodle pup?”
The Mechanician gestures behind the toons. The Toons turn around to look, all confused when they see nothing. The Mechanician begins tip-toeing away while they’re distracted. One toon looks back at her and exclaims as they see her try to sneak away. She yelps and breaks into a panicked sprint, running off into another, much larger room room further in the building. The Toons make chase.
She runs into a storage room and to an emergency escape door. However, before she reaches it, a stick of TNT thrown by a toon lands in front of the door. She startles and stumbles away from it before it explodes. The exit is now unusable. She turns, and the toons have caught up to her.
“Oh no… wait, h-hold on..! Surely we can talk things out civilly, r-right?! I… I really don’t want to fight you!”
The Toons refuse and begin to approach, the Mechanician backing up towards the wall as they close in.
“N-No, please!! I don’t want to hurt anyone… please don’t make me! I… someone, help!!”
The Mechanician reaches into her pocket, pulling out a panic button and pressing it with shaking hands. Once she does, two cogs promptly fly into the room, landing at the Mechanician’s sides. The battle begins.
Ending Cutscene (Mercy)
The Mechanician reaches to her power core, hand hovering over it shakily. She is clearly in immense pain, her panic now reaching a boiling point as she realizes how injured she really is. Suddenly, her hands clench into fists and she quakes through the pain, knocking the toons off their feet. The quake doesn’t damage the toons, however.
“STOP!!!! THAT.. IS QUITE.. ENOUGH!!!”
She shakes her head, pulling her hands to her chest protectively and looking at the Toons as they rise to their feet.
“Why…?! I’ve been clear from the beginning that I didn’t want to fight! But… B-But you just won’t LISTEN!”
Her hands rise, holding her head in distress.
“Wh-What do you even get from this… from hurting me?!”
The Toons do nothing.
“I… I get it. This war. It… must be so stressful on you. On all of you.”
“B-But… I’ve been careful… so, so careful!”
The Mechanician turns her head, looking away from the toons for a moment before turning back to them.
“I… I know we’re *supposed* to fight toons, but… I’ve never seen the point. All of this violence is ridiculous to me.”
“All I’ve ever wanted was to stay on the sidelines, and to help those who were hurt.”
“I mean… I’ve never even gone out and fought toons before, anyhow! ...So… why? W-Why me?”
The Toons do nothing.
“...Ah. So that’s why. You see me as a threat… because of what I do for my fellow suits?”
The Mechanician shakes her head in disappointment.
“Have you Toons ever put yourselves in a Suit’s shoes? A-At least… just for a moment?”
“If you did, you’d understand. I… I understand the plight you Toons go through.”
“However, you’re not the only ones suffering. Whether they fall low or high on the chain of command… we all hurt, just the same.”
She pauses, wincing in pain herself. She’s visibly twitching and glitching out.
“Wh-What, do you think we deserve for our pain to stick forever? That no-obody should help us when we’re hurt?”
“......”
“Could you i-i-imagine it yourself? Feeling like gravity’s about to crush you… i-into small, mushy, toony bits?”
“Where… where all yo-o-ou can do is panic, and hope? Because, at th-that point, there’s nothing you can do? No way to mov-ve, or call out… or anything.”
“...You’d want your fe-ellow toons to help you when you’re hur-ur-hurt and scared, wouldn’t you?”
The Toons do nothing.
“...Right. I’d h-hope so. At the mo-oment it may be all f-fun and games… and I wish it st-stayed that way. B-B-But we.. all know that isn’t the case.”
The Mechanician sighs, twitching more heavily than before.
“...”
“W-Well… perhaps this experience has.. given you some food for thought.”
The Mechanician pauses, seeing an opening in the roof from the battle. She looks at the Toons one last time, expression saddened.
“Now… i-if… if you’ll ex-excuse me. Seems… this repairwoman… n-needs some repairing, herself. Please… if you can help it… d-don’t come back.”
The Mechanician moves to fly away, but one of the toons walks ahead of the group, pausing near her. She pauses, watching the toon for a moment, before nodding.
“It’s okay, I understand. I-I-IIIIIIIIIII-”
“..I forgive you.”
The Mechanician flies away.
Ending Cutscene (Defeat)
The Mechanician reaches to her power core, hand hovering over it shakily. She is clearly in immense pain, her panic now reaching a boiling point as she realizes how injured she really is. Suddenly, her hands clench into fists and she quakes through the pain, knocking the toons off their feet.
“STOP!!!! THAT.. IS QUITE..
The Toons attack.
“Gh-!! ……Heartless… y-you’re all heartless!”
The Mechanician pauses, seeing an opening in the roof from the battle. She looks at the Toons one last time, expression disgusted.
“I see now… w-why the Chairman insists we fight you T-T-Toons. You’re just as cr-cruel as some of those suits can be.”
The Mechanician flies away.
Notes
[Sorry no specific Cheats past the usual ‘Cog Capacity’ and ‘Lure Resistance’ ones because my brain is kind of melting right now lol. Also no specific damages listed with each attack besides what I already said above about the minimum and maximum for the same reason.]
Another note about cheats, I know for certain she’d have a sort of healing cheat. Knowing her personality she’d end up healing herself, her allies AND the toons. She just wanna be frens :(
Attacks
Guilt Trip
Water Cooler
Brain Storm
Rolodex
Her employee ID is based on the approximate year the first motorized vacuum was invented.
Excluding her nickname "Chelly", her first, middle and last name are all based on various companies that produce vacuums.
I was initially going to have it that all rewards could be used, but with how cog Chelly is, she'd do anything to ensure that pink slips wouldn't be used. She thinks the canons would hurt the cogs, or that someone, toon or cog, might get hit in the crossfire.
also that 3rd drawing, the transparent one. sticker :)))))))))))

For the WIP development asks; 5, 10, 11, 15, 24, 25, and 27, please? Thank you! Hope things are good with you (and with your hubby and Gun-bun)!
Thanks for the asks! Husband is good, if a little stressed- and Gunner is well. We're still waiting to see surgeons for consults so it might be a bit until we have the surgery. :P
5. What are the main themes? In Waking Up- the main themes are learning to heal from trauma, forgiveness and acceptance both of self and others. Next chapter lives up to those themes a lot
10. Describe the tropes present in this wip I'm never very good at knowing tropes :P I guess angst? Next chapter is action packed with a LOT of angst- which is probably why it's taking so long to write- but it's 17k at this point :P 11. Any characters you had to cut? I have a ton of OCs doing things, but I definitely cut back on their character moments at times. I wish I could have people get to know some of them better but frankly there isn't the time since I am always in either Ron or Hermiones POV. 15. What do you like about this wip I'm rather proud of the writing I've done specifically around mental health and trauma.
24. What is the most important question to answer about your characters How do you come to terms with yourself and the past? How do you set a new path forward with people as your grow and perspectives change?
25. Name the three most important things for you to plan I have an overarching plan- but the climax of the whole thing I'm flip-flopping on- there are a few ways to go about it and I'm torn as both can be effective!
If anyone wants to ask some asks, here is the list

Finances related tarot readings
Tumblr media
Hello my dear followers and random visitors of my posts!
Some of you probably know that I'm a very productive adult person with a responsible job in a bank. That's one of the main reasons why I can't really work on completing readings all day long.
But! In this time of high inflation and just things being financially tough in general (and financial difficulties can severely affect our mental state and emotions, of course, and eventually our physical health, too), I have thought I could perhaps use the fact I have a good and friendly relationship with the financial sector and maybe offer some money related tarot readings.
PLEASE! DON'T TAKE ME WRONG HERE. NEVER EVER BASE YOUR FINANCE RELATED DECISIONS ON TAROT OR ORACLE OR LENORMAND OR KIPPER OR RUNE READINGS! NEVER! THOSE CAN ONLY DRAW YOUR ATTENTION TO ASPECTS AND SUBJECTS YOU SHOULD LOOK MORE INTO. BEFORE MAKING ANY MONEY RELATED DECISION, MAKE YOUR RESEARCH AND CONSULT SOMEONE TRULY COMPETENT LIKE THE PERSON FROM YOUR BANK WHO'S RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR ACCOUNT, OR FINANCIAL ADVISOR, OR STOCK BROKER, YOU KNOW, SOMEONE WITH THE ACTUAL DETAILED KNOWLEDGE.
When this warning is off my shoulders and I truly mean it! I consider myself decent with money but I'm still learning myself and you should also know I have never studied any economy related school or even subject. I sort of learned everything from real life experience and I'm in no way an expert.
However, if you were interested in some general suggestions regarding your personal money management, little nudges towards the direction you might need to explore in more details, I can surely provide that.
I have already assembled one general tarot spread for this topic and I have tested it on myself and it looks like it works just fine so I can share it here with you.
Fiscal Year Ahead tarot spread
Expenses to cut (advice on what might not be wise to waste your money on in the upcoming year)
Sources of Income to explore (it can refer to side hustles or to a new direction of your career…)
Money Management Advice (general advice regarding your skills of handling personal finances)
Financial Forecast (what to expect / avoid / be prepared for in the upcoming year)
Investment Tip (general suggestion on what areas you might explore in order to invest in them, it can refer to simple things like your health and advising you to stop eating fast food and invest in groceries and start cooking better food for yourself or it can draw your attention to stock market, if you have some extra money to be invested)
For those who are not familiar with the term Fiscal Year, it's 12 consecutive months but they don't have to copy the actual calendar year. I have used this term in the title of the reading to address the fact that this tarot reading is giving you information for the 12 months ahead of you from the moment of when the reading is done for you. So you're not waiting for the 1st of January to start implementing the advice, you can start immediately. 😊
This tarot spread is clearly not the only option on how the finance related tarot reading can be done but I simply wanted to show you an example.
So! Would you be actually interested in such types of tarot readings? You can say no, it’s no problem for me. I’m simply offering it but if you don’t really trust this or you are not interested, feel free to tell me. I’m not gonna be sad about it. 😂
Let me know what you think!
Thank you and have a great day!

Why Ordering a Sick Note Online Is the Best Option
Introduction
In today's world, everything-from buying groceries to taking out memberships at a gym-can be done online. Healthcare hasn't been an exception; as it also goes the digital way. The ease of ordering an online sick note is one such change, though. How many times have you all been in a situation where you weren't able to get out of the bed and head straight for the office because of illness, and having to take some days off work because of it? It wouldn't have been much of a hassle if it hadn't needed you to get a doctor's note, would it?. Thanks to telehealth, this process has become convenient, fast, and accessible. In this article, we'll dig into why ordering a sick note online is the best option, how it actually works, and the many benefits it provides.
Tumblr media
What Is a Sick Note and Why Is It Necessary?
Before we investigate the online option, it's essential to know what a sick note is and why it is needed.
Definition of a Sick Note A sick note is a paper signed and issued by a medical professional, most often a doctor, proving that a certain person cannot work due to illness or injuries. An employer often demands this for explaining the absenteeism of his employee at work and to guide him whether the said worker has violated the policies against sick leave set in the organization.
Common Situations That Require a Sick Note Sick leaves mostly require documentation especially for conditions of absenteeism or work-related injuries, contagious diseases, or mental health issues. It is on this basis that employers find the need to have such records to deal with entitlements over sick leaves and analyze the health situation at work.
Former Ways of Sick Note Acquisition
For decades, the traditional way of obtaining a sick note has been through a visit to a doctor, but the system has its disadvantages.
Consulting a Doctor in Person Traditionally, you should have booked an appointment, gone to a doctor's office, and then waited for a consultation just to get a sick note. This might take time and generally is not so convenient when you just happen to be physically unfit to travel.
Limitations of Traditional Sick Notes Probably one of the biggest disadvantages to using the traditional method is time and effort, especially at a time when you already are unwell, adding stress into the mix. There is also the possibility of contagious diseases being spread in waiting rooms, something we have all become much more aware of with the COVID-19 pandemic.
How to Order a Sick Note Online
You cut out most of the hassle associated with traditional visits to the doctor through online sick notes. But just how does this whole thing work?
Steps for an Online Sick Note Find a trusted website – There are numerous online health care providers in Australia that enable you to book a telehealth consultation with a doctor. Book your telehealth appointment – Booking a consultation is often available within minutes through the platform depending on what you're using. You'll be expected to attend your consultation, often by video or telephone call. A doctor will evaluate your condition and decide if a sick note is required. Obtain your sick note-if approved, you will receive your sick note via email or through a secure online portal in advance to submit to your employer. Standard websites to obtain a sick note For example, Instant Consult, Qoctor, and Doctors on Demand are some of the most established telehealth services in Australia offering online consultations that can provide a sick note.
Benefits of Online Order of Sick Note
Why should you opt to order a sick note online instead of going for the traditional route? Here's what you should understand the key advantages on why you should go about it that way: The offer to get an online sick note is really convenient. You do not have to leave the comfort of your home, which is very good, especially if one is really too sick to move about.
From consultation to the issue of a sick note, the whole process can take less than an hour so that you save much time. Online sick notes are flexible. You can book a consultation during any time that is convenient for you. This comes in very handy for those who live far off the towns or cities or those with limited access to in-person care. One does not visit the doctor's office while being sick. The main benefit is that you don't have to come to a doctor's office, which saves you awkwardness, in addition to potentially preventing contagious illnesses from spreading to other patients in waiting rooms. For example, for urgent sick notes, online services are much quicker than an appointment at a clinic. Many offer same-day consultations and, therefore, can create a sick note within minutes.
Legal Validity of Online Sick Notes
Are online sick notes legally accepted in Australia? Yes, they are—if certain legal criteria are met.
Are Online Sick Notes Legally Accepted? An online doctor's sick note is also legitimate and accepted in any part of Australia; provided that it is issued by a registered healthcare practitioner. In contrast to the ordinary, conventional ones, online sick notes are only like those in information on their registration number, signature, and contact details by the doctor.
Elements of Online Sick Notes that are Valid The main elements that make an online sick note valid include: Evow and Medical leave reason. Absence dates and expected return to work Physician signature Cost-Effectiveness of Online Sick Notes An online sick note will be less expensive than the traditional method besides being convenient. Less Costly than a Physician Office Visit Most consultations online are cheaper than in person, especially for small consultations. The online sickness note will probably run you anywhere from $20 to $50; a visit to see the doctor in the clinic might be more expensive.
No Surprise Fees Online services tend to be up-front about pricing. No more surprise costs, as there are with traditional clinics, for reissuing documents, for instance.
Online Sick Notes During the COVID-19 Pandemic
COVID-19 had forever changed the way in which we approached healthcare, and telehealth was the essential provision of safe medical services in accessible ways.
Telehealth Surge and Shifting Landscape for Healthcare Telehealth services were a lifesaver during the pandemic. This was such a safe way for patients to get medical care with no risk of exposure. Ordering sick notes online turned out to be an important aspect of this shift, and many people continue to prefer it even as the restrictions are lightened.
Safety and Social Distancing There was also saving in time and a low transmission rate of COVID-19 in patients, who were mostly consulting from home online, thus avoiding crowding and hassle with waiting rooms.
This is a safer approach-by not coming into contact with others-and remains a plus for the patient and healthcare provider.
Security and Privacy of Online Sick Notes
When turning to online services, there usually arises a concern over privacy and data security issues.
Protection of Personal Health Information Quality telehealth services also abide by strong privacy laws. If you are using a telehealth service in Australia, it must comply with the Australian Privacy Principles, which assures you that your personal information as well as personal health care information will be managed confidentially.
Compliance with HIPAA and Australian Privacy Principles HIPAA and APPs ensure that all types of sensitive information handled by the telehealth service provider will be secured. Always ensure that the telehealth service you have chosen is transparent with its privacy policy.
Selecting the Best Company for Online Sick Leave Services
There are numerous online service providers, so you have to select one that is most likely to help you best.
Validation of the Legitimacy of the Platform
Before availing of an online service, verify the source and ensure that the health professionals who will be using the service are licensed. A legitimate service must include details about the qualifications of the practitioners used.
Validation of Credentials of the Practitioners Ensure that you verify the registration of the doctor providing the sick note with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, or AHPRA. This ensures that you get a sick note from a professional.
How Employers Respond to E-Sick Notes
You might be asking yourself how employers react to digital sick notes and whether they honor them or not.
Response of Employers to Digital Sick Notes Most Australian employers accept online sick notes, provided they comply with legal requirements. However, it would be in the best interest of consultation with a genuine lawyer if you are concerned about the rules your employer might have in place for online medical documentation.
Effective Communication with Your Employer When using an online service for the first time, communicate this to your employer and give them some information so there would be no misunderstanding. Transparency will ensure that your online sick note is accepted smoothly.
Busting Online Sick Note Myths Let us do away with these nonsensical myths surrounding online sick notes:
Let's clear up some common myths surrounding online sick notes.
Are Online Sick Notes Less Trustworthy? No, online sick notes are every bit as trustworthy as traditional ones if issued by a qualified professional. Online sick notes adhere to the same legal and medical standards as any traditional sick note.
Will My Employer Refuse an Online Sick Note? Most employers agree that online sick notes are okay but is always prudent to check with the HR department if unsure. So long as the document comes from a licensed practitioner, there should not be a problem.
When Not to Order an Online Sick Note
Online sick notes are convenient, but online sick notes don't always get used. Extreme illnesses that require a physical exam. Mild, short-term illnesses, which do not require a physical examination, such as a routine examination for flu or a cold, may be perfectly fine for online consultation.
Long-term Medical Conditions If you are constantly unwell or if you have to take a long leave from work due to medical reasons, you might need an in-person appointment so that you can obtain a sick note for the long term.
Online Sick Notes in the Future
Future online sick note practice will be proportional to that of telehealth.
Increased Telemedicine Adoption The more telemedicine increases, the more chance there is for the use of online sick notes with increased adoption.
Increased Digital Health Technologies Healthcare is perhaps the most digitalized sector ever, and AI, machine learning, and advanced telehealth infrastructure have only eased every pathway for access to medical services online.
Conclusion
Ordering a sick note online is as convenient, quick, and accessible as any traditional method could possibly be. You may want it urgently for something simple, or maybe you wouldn't want to risk acquiring a contagious virus within a doctor's office-you go online. Online ordering of a sick note benefits through legal validity, cost savings, and security; no wonder many Australians are choosing to order their sick notes online.
FAQs
Is the value of an online sick note the same as a traditional one? Yes, if the provider is licensed, then the online sick note would be identical to the traditional one.
How long does it take to get an online sick note? Usually, you would have your online sick note within minutes from when you see your consultation practitioner.
Can I get an online sick note if my complaint is a mental health issue? Yes, many telehealth services will provide consultations for mental health problems and can generate sick notes if appropriate.
What should I do if my employer will not accept my online sick note?
Even though most employers will accept online sick notes, you'll want to check with your human resources department first to determine the company's specific policies.
Can I be assured that my personal information is secure when ordering a sick note online? Indeed, it is ensured that only legitimate websites are compliant with Australian Privacy Principles and have encryption of personal health information.

24/7 Video Consultation: Access Medical Experts Anytime, Anywhere
Tumblr media
In our increasingly fast-paced world, the need for timely and accessible healthcare is more important than ever. Whether it's the middle of the night or during a busy workday, health concerns don't adhere to a 9-to-5 schedule. This is where 24/7 video consultations come into play, offering a revolutionary way to connect with healthcare professionals around the clock. With this cutting-edge approach, you can now access expert medical advice without the traditional hassles of waiting for appointments or dealing with crowded clinics. This comprehensive guide will explore the many benefits of 24/7 video consultations and how they are transforming the healthcare landscape.
 The Convenience of 24/7 Access
Imagine waking up in the middle of the night with a sudden, severe headache or noticing an unusual rash that wasn’t there before. In the past, such situations might have meant waiting until the next morning for a doctor's appointment or visiting an emergency room. However, with 24/7 video consultations, you can now get immediate medical advice from the comfort of your home, office, or even while traveling.
This level of convenience is especially beneficial for those with demanding schedules, chronic conditions, or urgent health issues. The ability to connect with a healthcare professional at any hour eliminates the stress of waiting for an appointment or taking time off work. For busy professionals, parents, or individuals with mobility challenges, the flexibility of 24/7 access can significantly enhance their quality of life.
 Access to Expertise Anytime
One of the standout advantages of 24/7 video consultations is the ability to reach a wide array of specialists whenever needed. Whether you require advice on managing diabetes, need support for mental health concerns, or seek guidance on a child’s sudden illness, there is always an expert available to help. This immediate access to a diverse range of medical professionals breaks down geographical barriers and ensures that you receive top-notch care regardless of your location.
This aspect of video consultations is particularly valuable for individuals living in remote or underserved areas where specialist care may be limited. Instead of traveling long distances or waiting for months to see a specialist, you can now connect with the right expert through a video call. This not only saves time but also improves the overall efficiency of healthcare delivery.
 Enhancing Ongoing Care
Beyond immediate consultations, 24/7 video consultations are also transforming the management of ongoing care. Regular follow-ups with your healthcare provider are crucial for chronic conditions or post-treatment care. Traditionally, these follow-ups required scheduling appointments and often involved long waiting times. With video consultations, these check-ins become more convenient and accessible.
For individuals managing chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or asthma, regular monitoring is essential for effective disease management. Video consultations allow for consistent communication with healthcare providers, enabling timely adjustments to treatment plans and better overall management of health conditions. Additionally, post-surgical follow-ups or routine check-ups can be conducted remotely, reducing the need for unnecessary travel and minimizing disruption to daily life.
 How It Works
Using SecondMedic’s 24/7 video consultation service is straightforward and user-friendly. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how it works:
1. Access the Service: Begin by visiting the SecondMedic website or downloading the app on your smartphone, tablet, or computer. The platform is designed to be intuitive and easy to navigate.
2. Book a Consultation: Choose the type of consultation you need, whether it’s a general check-up or a specialist consultation. You can select from a list of available doctors and specialists based on your preferences or medical needs.
3. Schedule Your Appointment: Select a time slot that fits your schedule. With 24/7 availability, you can book an appointment at any hour, ensuring that you receive care when it’s most convenient for you.
4. Join the Video Call: At the scheduled time, log in to the platform and join the video call with your healthcare provider. Ensure you have a stable internet connection and a quiet, private space for the consultation.
5. Receive Medical Advice: During the consultation, discuss your health concerns with the doctor. They will provide you with medical advice, diagnose conditions, and recommend treatment options as needed. You may also receive prescriptions or referrals for further testing if necessary.
6. Follow-Up: Post-consultation, you can follow up with the healthcare provider as needed. Many platforms offer additional features such as secure messaging or access to medical records, enhancing the overall care experience.
 The Future of Healthcare
The rise of 24/7 video consultations marks a significant shift in how healthcare is delivered. This evolution aligns with broader trends towards digital health and telemedicine, emphasizing accessibility, convenience, and patient-centered care. The integration of technology into healthcare services is not just a temporary solution but a transformative change that is likely to continue shaping the future of medicine.
In today’s world, minimizing exposure to crowded healthcare facilities is more crucial than ever. 24/7 video consultations offer a safer alternative by reducing the need for physical visits and minimizing the risk of spreading infections. This approach also supports public health efforts by allowing healthcare facilities to focus on more critical in-person cases while managing routine and non-emergency consultations virtually.
Additionally, the data collected through video consultations can contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of patient needs and health trends. This information can be used to enhance healthcare services, improve treatment protocols, and support better health outcomes on a broader scale.
 Addressing Common Concerns
While 24/7 video consultations offer numerous benefits, it’s important to address some common concerns:
1. Privacy and Security: Ensuring the privacy and security of your medical information is a top priority. SecondMedic employs robust security measures to protect your data and maintain confidentiality during consultations.
2. Technical Issues: While video consultations are generally reliable, technical issues can occasionally arise. It’s helpful to familiarize yourself with the platform and have a backup plan in case of connectivity problems.
3. Limited Physical Examination: Video consultations may not allow for a physical examination, which can be necessary for certain conditions. In such cases, the healthcare provider may recommend an in-person visit or additional testing.
4. Insurance Coverage: Check with your health insurance provider to understand coverage for video consultations. Many insurance plans are increasingly covering telemedicine services, but it’s important to confirm the specifics.
 The Impact on Global Health
The accessibility of 24/7 video consultations extends beyond individual convenience; it has a profound impact on global health. By bridging gaps in healthcare access, particularly in underserved regions, this service contributes to more equitable healthcare distribution. Patients in remote areas or developing countries can benefit from expert medical advice without the need for extensive travel, improving health outcomes and quality of care.
Furthermore, video consultations can support healthcare systems in managing high patient volumes, reducing wait times, and optimizing resource allocation. This is particularly important in times of crisis, such as during pandemics or natural disasters, where traditional healthcare infrastructure may be overwhelmed.

Telemedicine: Understanding
Telemedicine is the use of technology for distant medical treatment. By use of video conversations, phone conferences, and online chats, top telemedicine physicians may test for and treat a broad spectrum of diseases, administer medications, and provide follow-up treatment. Among the many advantages of this innovative approach to treatment are cost-effective, convenient, and easily accessible ones.
When should one consult a telemedicine doctor?
These are the times you should schedule a telemedicine visit:
●     Little Medical Issues and Injuries
Treating minor mishaps and diseases is much easier with telemedicine. Small injuries and diseases including colds, flu, allergies, cuts and scratches may be usually taken care of with a video consultation. If necessary, a video doctor may review your symptoms, provide remedies, and even issue a prescription. This reduces the possibility of passing on infections and may prevent you from seeing the doctor.
●     Managing Long-Term Illnesses
If you have asthma, high blood pressure, diabetes, or any long-term condition, you should be routinely tested on and followed up upon. Without making many in-person visits, telemedicine enables you to routinely check in with your doctor or nurse. From the comfort of your own house, you can better control your health, switch your medicines, and discuss any concerns you might have.
●     Assist with mental health.
For those dealing with mental health issues, telemedicine has become really crucial. If you are battling with anxiety, depression, or stress, a video doctor may assist with treatment and, if needed, with prescription medications.
●     Completing prescriptions
Running out of a medication you need may be worrisome, particularly if you have trouble personally getting to the doctor. Telemedicine allows you fast and simple medication refill requests. To determine if you need a repeat, a video doctor may review your medical history and current drugs. This will help you avoid waiting for the required attention.
Conclusion
For many different diseases, telemedicine offers a fast and simple approach to getting medical attention. From the convenience of your own home, a video doctor can assist with anything from minor ailments and long-term issues to mental health care and refills on your medicines.Want to get Telemedicine Physician services?
