I have made some progress on my custom Maurice plushie. I used nail polish remover with acetone to remove the glue on the eyes, truly leaving him eyeless. I then used a fabric marker to color in his shirt and hat. I originally had his face and hands taped up for protection from the ink, but I made the decision to remove the tape on his head. Bad idea; will be taping up his face again later.

I plan to change his mustache, give him a mullet made from minky and polyester stuffing, and give him new eyes.

MINI DARK MATTER!!

I did this drawing more than a month ago. But with the new Ibis paint actualization I could recover the HD version and I fixed to it some things. THIS ONE ISN'T ON SALE!

Inspiration:

The principal reason for the DMS plushie drawing was for make a Match icon with the King Dedede one heh heh ((OTP mention)). (I'd like to find this images in HD)

I made a Pikachu plush for my partner! it's my own take on this year's "heartwarming Pikachu" that the Pokemon Center released for Christmas, because it sold out immediately.

I put my own spin on it using recycled clothing for its outfit and by switching the details to different Pokemon! It's harder to make out the details on its hat, but on my version it's Starme, Cryogonal and Jigglypuff. Its outfit is also removable so it doesn't have to just be a Christmas plush :')

Our girl Rachel's birthday is coming up, I've been putting in quite some effort to customise one from the collectors plush & making some improvements in the details (eyes, star tatt size & position, ear ring colour & proportion etc), whilst keeping her eyeshadow, wearable jacket, expressions etc; IF there's a chance of making more / shipping, what's your acceptable price range excluding shipping fee (it's gonna be international shipping) ? Hand-made! If you wanna customize your own, it's gonna be + ~10-39 USD on top of the set price depending on the degree of difference from the one above.

*size of the plush is comparable to the max & Chloe official plushes, but if you wanted a bigger one ofc there'll be some additional charges; smaller ones, depends cuz the details are still gonna be there)

It costs $199 USD there which was too much for me imo, and the eyes are too big without pupils 😂 & the hair?? (also little stock left I think)

I'm doing this mostly cuz I love Rachel & know that there aren't a lot of her plushes out there, this isn't a confirmed deal and I'll show the final product once mine is done. Just getting a sensing to see if it's worth more production 💛

Update: I see that there's interest & so yes it's possible for more production! I'll try to cater to most of the spectrum by having 2 options as well as add ons :) will do up a Google form thing for buyers to fill in all the details! Follow my Instagram account @ rachelambermerch for more updates!

Am also considering donating parts of my profit to charity after I recoup my costs so it's more meaningful 🕊️

I found this cute plush of Infinite from Sonic Forces (sans mask) in a Goodwill in Portland, OR for $10. Tags intact and everything. He seems to be a one-off, custom-made plush made by Budsies and I have no idea why he wound up in the Goodwill. Whoever had him made, I want you to know he's living his best life.

When I was looking around for Judar's merch, I just knew I had to get the Magi Kuji merch with the JuAli illust 💞 This illust in general is so cherished by me since it's my biggest food.

It's a mini bromide so it's small. I try to collect as much of my OTPs as possible (within reason, of course)

Misc Rambles

Realized I haven't posted my merch hauls, so I figured I'd post 2 big merch hauls I got recently. I opened these back in November.

The merch packages were a combination of my main interests (FGO, Magi, KHR, KagePro) and also my secondary interests (ROTRK)

But I can only post 30 images, so they'll be (mostly) separated by fandom. I sometimes take pics that show the whole package, but this post will be Magi centric.

It's not much different from morning lightning tho. Just has a slightly yellow tint due to the bright lights in my room

One of my favourite books is the art and making of Hogwarts Legacy ✨️ its a beautiful book! And I've only used that mug once lol 😆 i just use it for display now. The two Seb plushies have been commissioned by two amazing etsy artists! And the same with the seb funko pop! As I say in previous posts today if the company refuses to make official merchandise then the artists and fandom takes matters into our own hands ✋️ 😊💚🐍 its a good thing!!!!!!! That's why I say they must be appreciated for their talents 🥰

how often do customers mispronounce Aisling's name at the diner tho? 👀

i wanna say they all do, especially by the time the squad is forming and they use nicknames a lot more, like she's rarely addressed by her full name, it's always shortened or "boss" or "jones" or "captain" or smth, but then one day she's like "okay we ought to wear nametags" and that's when things just become "barista effort" level, like "ayes-ling?" "ey-sling?" "ah-ee-sling?"

there's definitely a corkboard in the staff room where herself, edwina, laszlo and sanji are always neck-and-neck in terms of who has the most mispronunciations, and the only reason she doesn't win entirely is because the rest of the squad decide they want to see if someone will eventually call her "ass-ling" and that won't happen if she wins by a landslide, so they start loudly shouting for her every time a new customer walks in so there's no mistaking it!

( all this being said, i know for a fact that all of ye who i write with, your muses always pronounce it right in my head! )
