Chief Mod Edgeworth: Hi Fluffy! How's my sweet warerabbit doing?

Mod Gregson: N-Nice... Fluffy. Erm.... do you know where the Magatama of Parting is at, assuming Fluffy didn't eat it?

Chief Mod Edgeworth: Of course not! Fluffy only eats junkmail. It should be around here somewhere....

Mod Gregson: I swear, those eyes were staring into my soul.

Chief Mod Edgeworth: At least we have it.

Cursed Maya, could you hold this?

Cursed Maya: Of course, Master.

Maya: Ah! Hey, it's Halloween and I didn't black out this time!

Chief Mod Edgeworth: We have a bit of a problem we need your help with.

So basically, white angel wings = good, black demon wings = bad, insect wings = spirit mediums (combinations exist, like Edgeworth having black angel wings)

I'll try to flesh that au out more in the future but for now I only have these

Phoenix Wright Disabled Headcanons:

ADHD king literally the evidence is everywhere in the game

Constantly tapping his fingers and biting his nails cuz of it

Always has silly bandaids on his fingers (bought for Pearl but he uses them mostly)

Has POTS as well as chronic Back and Knee/Leg Pain (since childhood but exacerbated by physical trauma)

Gets hot/cold really easily from POTS so hes always taking his jacket on and off

Always putting his feet on his desk while he reads case files and everyone thinks hes just doesnt really care abt office etiquette (partially true) but its more for his POTS and leg pain

Paces behind the defense bench so his legs dont get as stiff

Also has chronic migraines (caused by the poison)

Usually gets them right after a trial wraps up due to his adrenaline crashing and the stress

Also gets POTS/pain flare ups then too

Partially the reason why he doesn’t take as many cases is cuz he needs time to rest

Standing in court and biking around to investigate takes it out of him

Asthma/lung and throat trauma (from eating glass)

Uses a cane sometimes but doesn’t like to

Feels like it makes him seem weak

In an effort to get him to use it more Maya and Pearls decorate it wish silly stickers (it works)

Wears braces more often tho

Also uses an inhaler (needed it more eight after the incident but doesnt need it as much now)

(Always keeps an inhaler on hand though)

Asthma gets a lot worse when he gets sick and it can take months for his throat to recover

Has had depression since everything w/ Dahlia and it gets kicked into high gear during the 7 yr gap

Maya, Miles, and Trucy force him to see a therapist (Miles pays for it)

(Phoenix doesnt think he needs it so hes only going becuz he doesnt want to waste Miles’s money)

Major medical trauma (very cautious about food/drinks and cannot take cold medicine)

Can’t stand hospitals cuz they remind him of when he had to get the glass taken out

Needs someone go go with him to the doctor so he has someone to care for him afterwards (calm him down, make him eat, drive him home) since he usually has a panic attack

When he has a really bad day (whether that be mental or physical) Trucy will call Miles and he’ll drop everything to come take care of Phoenix

Usually this involves a massage, advil, and a bath bomb (and just Miles’s company)

(I like to imagine gets him some advil immediately and then he helps Phoenix into a bath and rubs his legs or neck for a little bit and then when he’s done he just sits on the floor next to the tub and reads a book while Phoenix relaxes)

(And then after he helps him get in bed, orders Phoenix’s favorite Thai food, rubs some soothing gel on whatever hurts, and then both of them and Trucy snuggle up and watch a movie of Phoenix’s choice (usually Legally Blonde) til he passes out)

Still on ep. 7 of CoS and I find it funny how stark the differences of reactions between Shepard and Andy when it comes to Strahdanya. Shephard is in every way possible just absolutely pissed at her while Andy will sometimes go "AWOOOGA 👀👀👀" if she does a kiss or bite.

Also Victoria reallyyyy can't catch a break. Strahd got her under everyone's skin by being a supposed weak point. I hope she gets a win soon 🤞Though with Sarnax just being the MVP all the time that would be a challenge lol.

Mod Gregson: I've played enough Phasmophobia to know how to handle this.

So, outside of talking to yourself, what kind of ghost are we dealing with? Bad ghost? Good ghost?

Chief Mod Edgeworth: Hopefully, a good ghost and not an evil twin.

Mod Gregson: Perhaps, we should ask Maya for some assistance. Perhaps, speak to this ghost?

Chief Mod Edgeworth: That... could be a problem.

me and my editor are making SUCH good headway with the spitfire edit and it is honestly killing me that i can’t share it with y’all bc it is so good!!!!!!!!

also obviously knock on wood but we’re hoping to have the first book (i.e. first half of legacy spitfire) edited and ready for submission in early 2024, hopefully by end of january but i don’t wanna get ahead of myself

can you imagine going through what maya fey experienced in aa1. you meet a guy through the death of your sister. he is kind and believes you when no one else does and he defends you; you're grateful, but you can't even feel that gratitude fully in the mess and chaos that is your life now. you can channel now, apparently: your existence is what can bring your sister back to life, but your existence is what stops you from talking to her. the guy who defended you can talk to her, the people in court can see her, the kid with the steel samurai trading cards can talk to her, but you can't. you like the steel samurai, too: a shame the actor from the show got arrested for murder and you won't be getting any new episodes - just like you won't be getting any more of your sister, your comforts got stripped away from you one by one in the most cruel of ways.

one thing you do remember your sister saying is that you should take care of nick, so you do that. he's rude, sometimes, but mostly nice. the first thing you see when you open your eyes after channeling mia is the disappointment in his eyes; he doesn't mean to express that, really, and who can blame him, but it's still there. you wish you could have that look yourself, to at least have the feeling of getting too little of your sister rather than getting nothing at all. you remember that feeling well after every phone call that was too short and every word that was too vague. at least she was there sometimes.

you spend most of your time in the office, and it should feel familiar, but it doesn't. you look at the books your sister used to read and at the things on her table, expecting a sense of familiarity, recognition, something, but it's not there. you shared everything when you were kids - how could you not - but now you just wish you could have known the person that she was as an attorney, in this office. he got to know her as that person. you listen to what he tells you and paint a picture in your mind with that. the picture falls apart every time.

you help as much as you can with the latest case: it seems to be important to nick, but no matter what you do, it's not enough. you wake up after you're tased, worn out from channeling and walking and, well, being tased, and you can't keep the feeling to yourself anymore. you confess you wish to not have woken up. it's a moment of weakness, and you never say it again because of how much the admission hurt.

you keep trying your best, for now and forever.
