Best Keratin Serum: The Ultimate Solution for Glossy, Healthy Hair
When it comes to achieving sleek, shiny, and manageable hair, few products deliver like a high-quality keratin serum. Whether your hair has been damaged from heat styling, color treatments, or environmental exposure, incorporating a keratin serum into your hair care routine can make a significant difference. Keratin, a protein naturally found in your hair, works to strengthen, smooth, and protect your strands, but over time, it can become depleted due to various stressors. A keratin serum replenishes this protein, transforming your hair from frizzy and dry to smooth and strong.
In this comprehensive guide, we’ll explore everything you need to know about choosing the best keratin serum for your hair type, how to use it for optimal results, and why it’s a must-have for frizz control and overall hair health.
What Is Keratin and Why Is It Essential for Hair?
Keratin is a fibrous protein that serves as the structural building block for your hair, skin, and nails. In hair, keratin is responsible for strength, elasticity, and overall health. However, various factors—such as exposure to heat styling tools, harsh chemical treatments, pollution, and even excessive washing—can break down keratin, leading to hair that is brittle, frizzy, and prone to breakage.
Using a keratin serum helps to replenish and repair the natural keratin in your hair, restoring its health and vitality. By sealing the cuticle, keratin serums can smooth the surface of the hair, making it more resistant to frizz and easier to style.
How Keratin Serums Work
Keratin serums contain hydrolyzed keratin, a form of the protein broken down into smaller particles that can penetrate the hair shaft more effectively. Unlike conditioners or masks, which are often rinsed out, keratin serums are designed to stay in the hair, providing long-lasting benefits. These serums typically have a lightweight texture, making them suitable for daily use without leaving your hair greasy or weighed down.
Keratin serums work by:
Restoring Strength: By filling in gaps in the hair’s cuticle, keratin serums repair damaged areas and restore strength, making hair more resilient to future damage.
Smoothing the Hair: One of the key benefits of keratin serums is their ability to smooth the hair’s surface, reducing frizz and giving the hair a shiny, polished appearance.
Providing Heat Protection: Many keratin serums are formulated with added ingredients that protect the hair from heat damage caused by blow-drying, flat ironing, or curling.
Locking in Moisture: Keratin serums help seal moisture into the hair shaft, preventing dryness and keeping hair hydrated throughout the day.
Benefits of Using the Best Keratin Serum
Investing in the best keratin serum can yield numerous benefits for your hair, particularly if you struggle with dryness, frizz, or damage. Here are some key advantages:
1. Smooths Frizz and Flyaways
One of the primary reasons people turn to keratin serums is to combat frizz. Frizz occurs when the hair’s cuticle is raised, allowing moisture from the environment to enter the hair shaft. This can lead to a rough, unruly texture. A keratin serum smooths the cuticle, keeping it flat and preventing moisture from getting in, making frizz a thing of the past.
2. Repairs Damaged Hair
If your hair has been subjected to heat styling, bleaching, or frequent coloring, it may be showing signs of damage, such as split ends and breakage.
3. Boosts Shine
Healthy hair naturally reflects light, giving it a shiny, lustrous appearance. Keratin serums help to restore this shine by smoothing the cuticle and locking in moisture, giving your hair a glossy finish without the need for additional styling products.
4. Enhances Manageability
One of the biggest challenges of dealing with damaged or frizzy hair is that it can be difficult to style. Keratin serums make hair softer, more pliable, and easier to manage, whether you’re blow-drying it straight or letting your natural curls shine.
5. Protects Against Heat Damage
Frequent use of heat styling tools can take a toll on your hair, leading to dryness, breakage, and frizz. Many keratin serums include heat-protectant ingredients that shield your hair from the damaging effects of blow-drying, flat ironing, or curling. This is especially important if you use these tools regularly.
Choosing the Best Keratin Serum for Your Hair Type
Not all keratin serums are created equal, and it’s important to choose one that suits your specific hair type and concerns. Here’s what to consider:
For Fine Hair: If you have fine or thin hair, you’ll want to choose a lightweight keratin serum that won’t weigh your hair down. Look for serums that promise volume and don’t contain heavy oils.
For Thick or Coarse Hair: Those with thick, coarse, or curly hair often need a more potent formula that can deeply hydrate and tame frizz. Opt for a richer keratin serum that includes moisturizing ingredients like argan oil or shea butter.
For Color-Treated Hair: If your hair is color-treated or chemically processed, choose a keratin serum that is sulfate-free and gentle enough for daily use. Look for ingredients that help to lock in color while also repairing damage.
For Damaged Hair: If your hair is significantly damaged from heat or chemical treatments, look for a keratin serum specifically designed for intensive repair. These formulas typically contain a higher concentration of keratin and other restorative ingredients.
How to Use a Keratin Serum for Best Results
Using a keratin serum is simple and effective, but following the correct application technique will ensure you get the best results:
Start with Clean Hair: For best results, apply the serum to freshly washed, towel-dried hair. This allows the product to penetrate more effectively.
Use a Small Amount: A little goes a long way with keratin serums. Start with a small amount (about a pea-sized drop for short hair, or a dime-sized amount for longer hair) and add more if needed.
Focus on the Ends: Concentrate the serum on the mid-lengths and ends of your hair, where damage is most common. Avoid applying directly to the scalp, as this can lead to excess oiliness.
Style as Usual: Once you’ve applied the serum, style your hair as desired. Many keratin serums offer heat protection, making them ideal for use before blow-drying or flat ironing.
Complementing Your Hair Care Routine with a Frizzy Hair Repair Combo
To get the most out of your keratin serum, consider pairing it with a complete frizzy hair repair combo. This may include a keratin shampoo, conditioner, and a deep conditioning mask. By incorporating these products into your routine, you’ll enhance the effects of the serum and ensure that your hair remains frizz-free, smooth, and healthy.
Conclusion
The best keratin serum can be a game-changer for anyone struggling with frizzy, damaged, or unmanageable hair. By restoring the hair’s natural keratin, smoothing the cuticle, and providing essential moisture, keratin serums help you achieve a sleek, shiny, and healthy appearance with minimal effort. Whether your hair is fine and fragile or thick and curly, there’s a keratin serum and Best Keratin Hair Shampoo out there to suit your needs. By incorporating this powerful product into your daily routine, you’ll enjoy stronger, smoother, and more beautiful hair every day.

Some Lmk ss edits + Headcanons (Traffic light trio)
- He/They
- Gay
- Only wears knock off brands (doesn't know they aren't real)
- Autumn is his favorite season, purely because he likes to stomp the crunchy leaves
- Adhd
- Has dimples
- Pigsy once got him rainbow shoes for pride month before he was even out but MK didn't realize they were pride shoes because the rainbow was on the sole
- Tried to cook breakfast for Pigsy and Tang on Father's day once, somehow lit the curtains on fire
- Wants Tattoos but keeps backing down because he doesn't like needles (will probably get one in the future though)
- Has a sketchbook fully dedicated to Redson, would literally die if someone ever found it
- Smells like oranges
- Only a few inches taller than Redson, always teases him for it
- Almost killed Sun Wukong once because he was disguised as a spider
- The Monkey's on flower fruit mountain always climb on him when he's around, he doesn't try to stop them
- Had to remove the snooze option on his alarm clock because he wouldn't stop hitting it
- Chicken scratch handwriting, no one else can read it for the life of them
- Learned Spanish in high school, don't ask why it just feels right
- Covered in scars, but 83% of them are from being a dumb kid instead of battles
- Once described Redson's voice as "really warm, like a hug!" And almost got burnt for it
- Love language is physical touch
- Has those really pretty brown eyes, like the ones that look like honey when the light hits them at that one perfect angle
- Has no fashion sense whatsoever, Mei chose out most of the clothes he owns
- Phone is shattered beyond repair but he refuses to acknowledge that he needs to get a new one
- Obsessively takes personality/buzzfeed tests in the dead of night, once pulled an all nighter just taking "which drink are you?", "what kind of seafood are you?" "What type of candy are you?" Type of buzz feed quizzes, and physically couldn't do deliveries because he was so exhausted the next morning
- Has a bunch of plants but is terrible at taking care of them
- Has a chipped tooth (actually Canon, it's on his lego figurine, I'm still sad they didn't add it to the show :( )
- Once walked in on Tang and Pigsy kissing as a kid and was promptly traumatized
- Has no skin or hair care routine, uses a 3 in 1 Shampoo/conditioner/bodywash
- Has really nice curly/wavy hair but straightens it and uses an unholy amount of hair gel
- Has a wattpad account
- Sleeps in literally the most horrific positions you have ever seen, yet somehow never get cramps or neck/back pains
- Once drank dishwasher soap as a kid because he thought it was juice
- Gets sunburnt incredibly easy (if you've seen the s4 special ykwim)
- Mk once accidently threw a plastic bottle in the trash instead of the recycling bin and got lectured for an hour by Pigsy (Pigsy is a huge environmentalist)
- His bedroom is messy as all hell but he somehow knows where everything is (Pigsy and Tang have tried cleaning it themselves but it was back to being a mess just a few short hours later so they gave up)
- He/Him (FtM)
- Gay
- Shortest one in the trio (just barely though). I like to think that the removal of the samadhi fire stunted his growth and demonic development, which is also why he takes so little after his father in appearance/height. He always wears platforms though, so he looks taller than he is
- He was so quiet and sneaky as a child that his mom had to put a bell on him
- Used to wear large combat boots until someone made a "step on me" joke. He doesn't wear them in public anymore
- Smells like smoke and cinnamon, Mei once described it as a 'campfire' smell
- Has really heavy blackout curtains in his bedroom
- Hair turns black when wet or when he's burnt out
- Always has a soft glow to his body because of his fire, mouth glows faintly, hair glows faintly, the more emotional he is the stronger the glow (MK and Mei are incredibly jealous)
- Tension headaches because we all know that mf has his hair tied up in the tightest goddamn ponytail ever
- Has the samadhi fire back (I'm delusional just let me have this)
- Has a habit of stealing his friends and families clothes to wear, first started when he was really little and would constantly steal whatever clothes of DBK's he could find around the house to help him feel like his dad was still there, and the habit just stuck with him
- Doctor handwriting
- Autistic
- Identifies as male but still likes to wear skirts and dresses sometimes (he just like me fr). Likes floor length skirts the best

- Has a childhood Bull plushie that he still sleeps with, hides it under the bed or in the closet whenever MK and Mei come over

- Mei once called him "Zesty" and he still doesn't know what it means, she refuses to tell him
- Was homeschooled by PIF
- Has a beauty mark like his mom's
- Has the most angelic, majestic, heartlifting laugh ever, but never actually laughs (unless it's his "evil" laugh, trust me guys)
- Goes to bed at 3am, wakes up at 11am type of person
- Needs glasses because the Samadhi fire fucked up his eyes (in Journey to the West, the samadhi fire is described as a flame that, when activated, "shoots out of every hole in his face" including, of course, his eyes)
- Remember when I said he was a quiet child? Yeah, he can't do that anymore, he literally has no idea how to be quiet now that he's older, the best he can do is whisper shout
- Hopeless romantic, but convinced that any and all feelings are unrequited
- Mei and Mk found his baby pictures once, he will never recover
- Long ass skin and hair care routine, will spend at least two or more hours on it every morning, but it's worth it, his hair and skin are always so soft

- Lesbian
- Has tons of piercings: nose, ears, bellybutton, etc (her parents don't know about the bellybutton piercing and she doesn't plan on letting them know anytime soon)
- "Hey, Red boy, cool tattoo!" "... thats a scar." (She still hasn't lived it down)
- Smells like freshly cut grass

- Adores glitter makeup but can't stand the feeling of it on her skin
- Love language is quality time
- Has a love/hate relationship with her dragon features, she thinks they look cool and she's proud of her heritage, but if her scales get too dry, which happens very easily, they get really uncomfortable and itchy as all hell

- Lives on energy drinks, her favorite is Monster Pipeline punch
- Has really soft and really thick hair
- Used to chew on her hair in middle school
- Biggest sweet tooth ever, Redson is disgusted by her eating habits
- Goes on early morning jogs every day except weekends
- Sabrina Carpenter fan
- Refuses to watch any movies or shows based on video games she likes because they'll "never have the same charm or energy as the game", but will buy the video games that a show/movie is based on if she watches them before playing

˗ˏˋ ✮ kairi's AUtober !
day 2: mechanic miguel o'hara
you grumbled as you begged your car not to give out on your way to the nearest auto repair shop. it wasn't that fancy, not that any auto repair shop you came across was anything too grand, but if the mechanic inside did the job right, you wouldn't kind waiting here for a few hours.
you cussed as your engine sputtered and your air conditioner gave out, but you were right on time as you parked the hunk of junk inside the garage, and might've accidentally bumped into one of the mechanic's under chassis trolley, knocking all their tools over with a series of loud clangs and clinks. the sound of the back door to the home connected to the auto repair shop flew open, and a big, tanned complexioned man with a white tank top and low rise ripped blue jeans entered the garage, muttering some things in spanish.
"puta madre, qué diablos trajiste a mi garaje?" he asked you in a gruff, irritated tone. the mechanic ran his hand through his tousled, dark, curly brown hair and breathed in through his teeth and shook his head, he picked up all the wrenches and screwdrivers that fell over and put them all in his tool box.
you climbed out of your car and accidentally stumbled over in your haste to apologize. "sorry, it's just, my car's–woah!" you exclaimed as you stumbled and fell down on your knees. he sighed and clicked his tongue as he went over to you to help you up, extending his large hand out to you that was a bit stained with oil and dust, but one that wanted to help you get up on your feet after you failed trying to help him out.
you took the man's hand, and as though you were nothing but a feather in his hand, he lifted you up with ease and set you down on your feet. he walked past your fazed figure, fazed and dazed at how strong the man was. it wasn't surprising, his size was nothing to joke about, he was... very, very built. "tell me, what's wrong with this thing?" he asked you as he began to lift the hood of your car, the muscles on his back flexing as he did. you couldn't help but check out every curve and bump on his back; from his shoulders down to his waist, and even lower than that.
you gulped and tried explaining to him how your engine was giving out for the past few weeks, to which the mechanic sighed and put the hood back down and wiped the sweat off his forehead from the blazing hot sun beating down on you two. "this might take a few hours, this baby's been begging for maintenance." he muttered as he walked over to put on his gloves and to get his tools.
he pulled up a chair for you to sit in, and when you didn't sit, he raised an eyebrow at you. "por qué no estás sentado? don't make me feel like a bad host, take a seat." he insisted as you darted your eyes from his glistening, sweaty collarbone and neck to the chair he was holding out for you. you mumbled out your thanks and awkwardly sat in the chair, shifting from here to there as the mechanic nodded to you in response.
"ah, thanks for... you know, doing this." "you're paying me for this, the money will be enough thanks from you." he told you as he got down underneath the car and began to check the bottom of the vehicle. you chuckled awkwardly and shifted in your seat again, fidgeting with your thumbs. "right, right... um, i never got your na—" "o'hara." he responded promptly. you coughed a little at his response. "i meant your first name." "...miguel, miguel o'hara." he introduced himself as you nodded. "well, thanks for fixing my car, miguel." "again, thank me when this is over–" he said as he pushed himself out from underneath the car and looked at you with a piercing gaze, with those pretty light brown eyes of his that were so hypnotic. "–and in cash." he muttered in the end, his eyes glued to you for a few seconds until he went back underneath the car to begin fixing it.
though... maybe he would bring the fee down a little, if you'd stay there and keep talking to him to keep him company; but he'd keep that offer on the table, show him a good time with some equally good company and he'd probably do this for free–but that's all just a probably.

lando with a girlfriend that has a very complicated hair care routine and it confused him at first but she taught him about it and now he takes better care of his hair. I’m absolutely a sucker for self care and smth about him and his girlfriend taking care of themselves together just drives me insane. in a very soft mood right now, but I can’t help it. someone needs to protect his curls 😔
-
🩰
pls i tried having a curly hair routine for like a year but ive reverted and gone back to straightening it once a week bc its less work /:
the first time lando stays over, she says she’s going to shower and he wants to join. she immediately tells him this is a real shower, no fun. he thinks he can convince her until he sees all the products and she starts telling him about his routine. it’s torture for him watching her wash her body, exfoliate, use an in shower moisturizer. after her body routine, she uses a deep cleansing shampoo, followed by her regular shampoo and after rinsing, starts massaging her scalp with a massager and follows that with a deep conditioning treatment. after rinsing her conditioner, she uses a scalp treatment and a repair mask on the ends. while it sits she might shave or massage her scalp more. then she finally rinses her hair and he thinks she’s finally done. he’d have washed his hair and entire body while she was doing her three step body routine and just watched the rest, swapping places with her when she needed out of the water stream.
he gets out of the shower and tries dragging her to bed before she can even touch her robe. she pushes him away and tells him to wait, throws him a towel and wraps herself in her robe and her hair in a microfiber towel. he thinks she’s teasing him when she rubs lotion on while he watches, but it’s just to lock in moisture from the shower. then she brushes her teeth and does her entire skin care routine, and he’s again thinking she’s done, until she lets her hair down and begins another routine, creams and gels and oils, scalp massaging and combing. its like a two hour process from start to finish and he wonders what it feels like to be so pampered. when she finally puts on pajamas and crawls into bed, he asks how often she does that and she’s like, “which part? that was like an everything shower, i won’t do all of that tomorrow, and i’ll do a different skincare routine in the morning because that’s my night skincare routine, and it’s a thursday, so tomorrow night i have to use different products because there’s certain ones you don’t use two days in a row, y’know?” lando nods and agrees even thought he has no clue what she’s talking about.
he wakes up while she’s doing her morning routine and is offended she started without him because he wanted to see what was different. she stops and shows him what she did and then continues once he’s caught up. then she offers to let him use the products or asks him about his skin and shows him all the products she has and what they’re for, pulling out the ones she bought and never used because they didn’t work for her. he goes to shower later and asks her about her hair products and she immediately offers to join and show him. he’s thinking shower sex again, but she showers with him and tells him about each of them again while washing his hair and massaging his scalp.
he’d pretend to be neutral about it when they get out and she asks if he wants her to keep going and do the rest of her routine with him, like, “yeah sure if you want to” but he’s honestly dying for her to keep running her fingers through his hair. he sits on the toilet while she does her routine on his hair and then she shows him what her skincare routine for the night is and they do it together. they keep doing it every morning and night and the first time he’s away at a race, he calls her from a beauty store asking her what products he needs to buy to do their routine and she’s like, “oh you’re like, actually doing it?” and he’d whine, “well yeah? i didn’t think i’d need to, so i didn’t bring anything and my skin feels awful. so now i’m supposed to do a deep cleanse on my hair tonight and i can’t remember which one we use.” she tells him to pick one he likes, but to make sure it’s for curly hair, and he tells her, “no, i want the same shampoo because it smells like you.” she just about melts inside and rushes to the bathroom to send him a photo to ensure he gets the right one, and then sends him photos of all the other products he needs for his routine. he facetimes her after his shower because he wants to do his routine with her, and she’d have been waiting for his call to start hers because she had a feeling he would want to.

A Simple Guide for a Perfect Hair Care Routine at Night
We all understand the importance of a good hair care routine. But have you considered the significance of nighttime hair care? A dedicated evening routine can be a game-changer for your hair's health and appearance. Here’s your simple guide to perfecting your hair care routine before you hit the pillow.
Why Is a Nightly Hair Care Routine Essential?
Your hair endures much during the day—pollution, heat styling, and even natural oil production can impact your hair's health. A nightly routine helps reduce these effects by rejuvenating your hair while you sleep, enhancing its strength, vitality and balancing the sebum on the scalp.
Moreover, caring for your hair at night can help prevent damage and breakage caused by friction with your pillowcase as you toss and turn. This extra care before bedtime keeps your hair looking healthy and vibrant. Remember how Goldilocks used to brush her hair 100 times before bed.
Step 1: Brush Your Hair
Start your nightly routine by gently brushing your hair. This helps detangle knots and spread the scalp’s natural oils throughout your hair, promoting moisture retention and reducing breakage. Use a wide-tooth comb or a soft brush, starting from the ends and working your way up to minimize stress on your hair. If you have curly hair, opt for a detangling brush designed to preserve your curls.
Step 2: Apply a Nourishing Hair Mask or Oil
To deeply moisturize and repair your hair, apply a nourishing hair mask or oil suited to your hair type. Coat your hair from roots to tips and let the treatment sit for at least 30 minutes, or overnight if possible. This step is crucial for restoring hydration and reviving dull, damaged hair.
Organix Mantra Rosemary & Lavender Hair oil is ideal for revitalizing and reviving hair growth. This hair oil is formulated with a blend of nurturing oils such as jojoba, coconut, and olive, selected for their proven benefits in improving hair and scalp health. These oils fortify and nourish your hair, creating optimal conditions for natural vitality and growth. The formula enhances hair texture, leaving it softer and more lustrous while avoiding any greasy residue.
For those with fine or oily hair, choose lightweight oils or masks to avoid weighing down your hair. You can cover your hair with a shower cap to lock in the treatment and maximize its benefits.
Step 3: Tie Up Your Hair Gently
If you’re skipping the hair mask or oil, it’s still wise to tie your hair up loosely to prevent tangling and breakage while sleeping. Avoid tight elastic bands that can stress your hair. Instead, use a silk or satin scrunchie or headband to gently secure your hair. For longer hair, a loose braid works well to keep your hair organized and minimize knots.
Step 4: Switch to a Satin Pillowcase
Minimize hair damage from friction by sleeping on a satin pillowcase. The smooth texture of satin helps reduce hair breakage and maintain moisture levels in your hair. If you don’t have a satin pillowcase, wrapping your hair in a silk scarf is an effective alternative. Also, keep your pillowcase clean to avoid the buildup of oils and hair care products.
Step 5: Morning Care
In the morning, wash your hair to remove any overnight product buildup. Use a sulfate-free shampoo and a nourishing conditioner to cleanse gently without stripping natural oils. Consider a cool rinse to close the hair cuticles, enhancing shine and reducing frizz.
To Sum Up
Consistency is key in maintaining the health and beauty of your hair. Integrate these steps into your nightly routine for noticeable improvements in your hair's texture and strength. Wake up to healthier, more beautiful hair every day by giving it the care it deserves at night. Happy hair care!

not my usual fandom nonsense but I have been asked about how I maintain having healthy hair when it is both curly and dyed so here are some tips from me to you
KEEP THAT SHIT HYDRATED!! If your hair is bleached it is more likely to be dry and break than if not! Hydrate it!
when bleaching your hair, mix in some kind of bond repair as well (like olaplex or a dupe of it)
deep condition your hair once a week (this is nice because you can leave it in and do other stuff)
Did i mention??? hydrate your hair???
use shampoos and conditioners that are color safe. But don't forget to use clarifying shampoo to get rid of product build up periodically.
make sure you have a good diet. your hair health is tied directly to your diet. eat your veggies.
olaplex is expensive, but you can get dupes for less than half of the price on amazon.
hot oil treatments
But sonder, what do you mean by hydrate your hair?
let me tell you then! you gotta use some kind of leave in conditioner, spray, cream, oil, whatever, to lock in that moisture that you are applying to your hair when you condition it. Lock that shit in! as soon as your hair feels dry, moisturize it! You don't let your body go a whole 48 hours without drinking any sort of liquid. If you have bleached/dyed/damaged hair, then you shouldn't let your hair go this long without some kind of moisture either.
#sonder speaks#i also got rid of all of my acne but that is for a different post#and no you don't need to drop a whole lot of money to do that either

Elevate Your Locks: The Power of Volumizing Conditioner for Fine Hair
For those with fine or limp hair, achieving volume and bounce can be a daily challenge. Enter the world of volumizing conditioners – a game-changer in the quest for luscious, full-bodied locks. In this guide, we'll explore the benefits, key ingredients, and tips for choosing the perfect volumizing conditioner tailored to fine hair.
Understanding Fine Hair:
Fine hair is characterized by its smaller individual strands, which often lack thickness and density. While it may be naturally silky, fine hair tends to lie flat against the scalp, making it appear less voluminous. Finding the right products, such as volumizing conditioner, is essential to enhance texture and lift.
Key Ingredients in Volumizing Conditioners:
Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5): Strengthens hair and adds thickness without weighing it down. Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein: Improves the elasticity and texture of fine hair. Biotin: Promotes hair growth and strengthens the hair shaft. Aloe Vera: Provides hydration without greasiness, enhancing overall hair health. Caffeine: Stimulates hair follicles, promoting volume and fullness.
Benefits of Volumizing Conditioner for Fine Hair:
Adds Body and Volume: Lifts hair strands, creating a fuller appearance. Enhances Texture: Improves the overall texture and thickness of fine hair. Weightless Hydration: Nourishes without weighing down delicate strands. Improves Manageability: Makes styling easier, preventing tangles and breakage. Long-Lasting Results: Provides volume that lasts throughout the day.
Tips for Choosing the Right Volumizing Conditioner:
Avoid Heavy Formulas: Choose lightweight formulas that won't weigh down fine hair. Look for Natural Ingredients: Opt for conditioners with natural, nourishing ingredients. Sulfate-Free: Sulfates can strip the hair of natural oils, making it look flat. Consider Your Hair Type: Ensure the conditioner is suitable for your specific hair type. Read Reviews: Check customer reviews to gauge the effectiveness of the product.
Top Volumizing Conditioners for Fine Hair:
Bumble and Bumble Thickening Volume Conditioner: Boosts volume and softens hair. Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Lemon Sage Thickening Conditioner: Adds fullness and a refreshing scent. Living Proof Full Conditioner: Delivers natural-looking volume and thickness. Aveda Pure Abundance Volumizing Clay Conditioner: Infused with kaolin clay for added volume. Redken High Rise Volume Lifting Conditioner: Lifts fine hair for a voluminous finish.
Conclusion: Say goodbye to flat, lifeless hair with the transformative benefits of a volumizing conditioner. Whether your goal is to achieve a salon-worthy blowout or simply enjoy the natural beauty of voluminous locks, the right conditioner can make all the difference. Elevate your hair game by incorporating a volumizing conditioner into your routine, and let your fine hair take center stage with newfound volume and vitality.

Having feelings right now, cause.
So, Kira has curly hair. The type that needs some actual care--you can't just scrub it and go, the way you can with straight hair. And she clearly got it from her mother. It's hair that parents might chose to keep short for a child, because it would be easier to deal with during such bonding activities as heists.
But Ed doesn't do that. Kira's hair is long in most of the flashbacks, and very clearly well cared for. And Holga has straight hair.
The implication--that Ed helped Zia with her hair, or at least paid attention to how she did it, then made a point to apply those lessons to Kira. And showed Kira how to look after her own hair! And, since conditioner doesn't exist in d&d probably, Ed had to set aside money for hair oils. Maybe he learned from his mother how to scent them, what essences would help keep things moisturized longer, what would help with hair growth. Maybe this was something he learned for Zia as courting gifts, or something he could do for her when she was pregnant and doing her own hair was exhausting.
And when they rescue Kira--when they all go home, happily ever after--Ed has to repair his relationship with his kid. Because he did leave her! Those feelings and emotions and her anger all still exist, because she is a child, and Ed still left her for two years for something she didn't really want or need.
So maybe that repairing starts with an apology, and maybe its shored up with Ed making her oils and masks for her hair; and maybe for Holga's too, since he's in the kitchen anyway. Maybe love is stored in the haircare regimen.

Tame Your Curls: The Best Products for Curly Frizzy Hair
Managing curly and frizzy hair can be challenging, but with the right products, you can achieve smooth, defined curls that are free from frizz. In this guide, we'll explore the best products for curly frizzy hair, including top recommendations for keratin treatments, shampoos for damaged hair, and standout products from Well Straight Professional. By using these carefully selected products, you can keep your curls looking their best while tackling common issues like frizz, dryness, and damage.
Why Curly and Frizzy Hair Needs Special Care
Curly hair is naturally drier than other hair types due to its structure, which makes it more prone to frizz and damage. The twists and turns of curly hair make it difficult for natural oils to travel down the hair shaft, leading to dryness. This dryness can result in frizz, especially in humid conditions. Additionally, curly hair is more susceptible to damage from heat styling, chemical treatments, and environmental factors, making it essential to choose products that hydrate, protect, and repair.

To keep your curls smooth and frizz-free, consider these top products:
Moisturizing Shampoos and Conditioners

What conditioner are you using? As a fellow curly girl
disclaimer my hair texture is fine strands but dense (as in a looot of it) and ringlet type curls so some formulas that work for other curly girls don't work for me. so for example coconut oil formulas ruin my hair. my hair likes avocado oil and argan oil best bc it doesn't weigh it down too much. i use hask argan oil deep repairing mask on occasion (on the pricier side) in combination with garnier fructis triple nutrition conditioner weekly (more affordable)

I'm not sure if you have already answered this but what do you use for your hair!!! The length is amazing!!
thank you so much! 🫶
i use some curly-girl-adjacent products to try and tame the crazy amount of frizz i so easily get ☠️ but the one thing i am adamant about and never, ever go without is a leave-in conditioner and for years and years my go-to has been Aunt Jackie's Quench Moisture Intense Leave-In Conditioner (the green bottle). it really is a game-changer as it makes textured hair a lot more manageable
i used to LOVE Aunt Jackie's Fix My Hair Intensive Repair Conditioning Masque to use as a regular conditioner in the bath but it got banned in the EU bc of some ingredient i'm not even sure was dangerous (this may just have been overzealousness). they may have changed the formula, though, bc i see it's commercialized on some sites so i will have to check it out. it was truly unique & i miss it so much!
but the main idea still stands - to use a mask or a deep conditioner just like a regular conditioner. they're more potent and work better for frizzy, curly hair. nowadays i just use the drugstore pantene pro v hair biology masks. they work surprisingly well and are very good at detangling my hair
as for shampoo, i do try to use something with lighter surfactants on my length, but on the scalp you have to be careful to cleanse it really well & exfoliate if necessary with something stronger (like salicylic acid maybe). also to avoid build-up on the hair strands. but, then again, stronger surfactants also make the texture more difficult, so it's always a balancing act!
other rules i keep to are:
- the only time i brush my hair is in the shower when i have conditioner on. i never, ever brush my hair at a different time unless i absolutely plan to braid it immediately. people with curly hair know that brushing destroys the integrity of the curl and leaves one looking like a mop 😂
- i always air dry and use microfiber towels and sleep on a satin pillowcase
- i always braid my hair at night
all of these things keep the hair from getting too tangled and help with frizz
for thickness and length, idk what advice to give bc i've never had a problem in that department (god's favourite, i know 🙏). i regularly dye my hair and after 3 months i always see the visible growth via my dark roots :)) i think my hair takes dye pretty well bc it doesn't have a worse texture than before (thankfully). i do get regular trims to keep the dead ends at a minimum though
#ask#anon#lemonleaf.txt#hair#at this point i do this stuff automatically without thinking about it#thank you anon for being so kind 🙏
