Checking out other Quest AUs as I wait for my will to come back to continue with Inky Mystery.

(The conflict has not let down yet and I’m starting to feel dread)

Anyway, go check out this neato retell of the og Quest story by @thequestfortheinkmachinecomics. The characters’ designs are nicely touched up, their personalities seems more natural now, the art is really cool and oh no, I’ve run out of juice for words… I just know that this retell will be good so I’ll be on along for this ride.

Intro

This is a re-do of a blog for my main au! Been meaning to get this up and running, but just never had the time to do that. This is mainly where I'll be posting art for my au, as well as where I'll be posting the story.

I would use my main blog, but honestly I would like it to just be about the art I make, y'know?

By the way, this isn't going to be an ask blog...kinda. I'll let you know when I'll be taking questions, but for the most part I want to focus on getting the story of the AU told.

The Devil's Pitchfork:

To get over his recent fails and being overthrown by the mysterious Ink Demon, the Devil spends some father-son time with Bendy by terrorizing the citizens of Inkwell Isles. After misplacing his pitchfork, Cuphead and Mugman spot Bendy playing with it and the trio cause chaos and mayhem around them.

But, the Devil catches up to the boys and Bendy is revealed to be the Devil's son. This has Cuphead skeptical and constantly keeps electricuting the Devil, but when Bendy tries to retrieve the pitchfork, Cuphead gives a giant electrical shock that knocks him out and giving him glowing burns on his palms.

This was the last straw for the Devil and kidnaps Mugman as payback for harming his son. This is when Cuphead realizes how badly he has messed up on both sides.

This A.U has no name currently but it's a random concept I came up with!

So basically, what happens in this A.U is after the Ink machine is fixed, Bendy ends up (accidently) pregnant.

Cuphead is still in debt to the Devil and after a long time of thinking, he doesn't know any other way to protect his family then to 'give over' his soul to the Devil.

He made the agreement to become the Devil's full-time Debt Collector and give him his soul, Cuphead was one of, if not the best Debt Collector the Devil has ever had so he decided to accept Cuphead's offer to willingly hand his soul over and become one of his minions.

In return, The Devil would let Mugman's soul go and leave Bendy as well as their Unborn child alone and not target them any time in the future.

Bendy was around 5-6 months pregnant when Cuphead did this, when he comes home looking like a whole other person, it really upsets Bendy as he's not in the best mental state durn this time and they weren't nessaserily the most financially stable couple, as well as the two being unmarried.

Cuphead explained why he did it, but of course, Bendy didn't take this well, still upset and unsettled by his partners new appearance and personality shift.

Despite Cuphead now being more Manic and unhinged, he's still protective towards his lover and their unborn child. Cuphead's new position as lead Debt Collector actually led to him also becoming an assassin, which benefitted their money issues, even if Bendy didn't agree with it.

Soon, Cuphead gets what the Devil considers a 'promotion' and was now in change of the other Debt Collectors underneath him, meaning he had to move closer to the Casino so now they had to live in Inkwell City which was far away from Toon Town.

This did cause an issue between Bendy and Cuphead since Bendy didn't want to be move away from Boris, who was working for Mickey's Circus, but eventually he caved in and just moved, too stressed to argue. He knew Mugman would remain in Toon Town, so Boris had someone taking care of him besides Felix, who was also travelling with Mickey and his new boyfriend Oswalt.

Their relationship was slowly deteriorating in Bendy's eyes. It was unsettling to him that he was growing use to seeing his boyfriend coming home and covered in blood.

Soon, their son Dominic was born and Uh- yah that's all I have for now.

Dominic's hair is naturally blonde like Cuphead's, but he puts coffee in his head to make it brown so he doesn't look like his father

(Dominic is actually from a whole other A.U I'm conjuring up but he fits into this A.U as well so yk why not just throw him into this one too cuz yk)

Meet the Crew

The Drew Brothers

Bendy- Once performer for a live audience,now on the road to redeem his family's Image. Though it's proven difficult, having people hate him and his brother's existence. They often have to deal w/targeted assassination.

Boris- He travels w/ his Brother in order to cure the ink illness. He desperately wants to see his brother perform again and to live peacefully. He feels guilty that his father Caused so much trouble to so many people.

The Cup Brothers

Cuphead- A Runaway & a Traveling hitman. He and his brother were sent to kill Bendy and Boris but were quickly stopped,then convinced by mugman that they could help them. Why? So they can heal their father figure that also struggles with the illness.

MugMan- Also a runaway & hitman. Along with cuphead,they were sent to kill the Drew brothers. But he was quickly convinced by Boris that he & Bendy were going to fix & rebuild the ink Machine. Seeing a way to help their Father Figure & mend help their bond,he quickly Convinces cuphead to join Bendy this Brother to rebuild the machine

Felix- An adventurer who had been hired by the brothers. Having once been in their shoes,he decides for free that he'll help them and their quest to build the ink machine. He teaches all four of the boys how to survive the wilderness and make quick cash for their travels.

Don’t Call Me That A memory that hurts more than any scar.

The night was quiet, too quiet.

The campfire outside had long died out, and the room was wrapped in shadows. Inside the small cabin, everyone was fast asleep. Cuphead mumbled in his sleep, Mugman snored softly. Felix and Oswald shared a pile of blankets near the wall, curled together. Boris lay by the window, twitching at the sound of rustling trees.

And then came the scream.

It ripped through the silence like a blade. Everyone jolted awake.

“BENDY?!”

The demon sat up in his bedroll, drenched in sweat, his body trembling, fists clenched so tightly his claws pierced into his own palms. Tears streamed down his face as he stared ahead, not seeing any of them,only a memory.

"Benjamin, don't talk back." The word was spat like filth.

A much younger Bendy stood barefoot on a cracked wooden porch, hands dirtied with soot, tail curled tightly around his ankle. The townspeople were watching him with disgust, mothers pulling their children away, fathers sneering, shopkeepers closing their doors.

He was just trying to buy a loaf of bread.

But his horns. His tail. His ink-black skin. It didn’t matter how kind he smiled, how polite he was.

“You demons don't belong here,” one man hissed, grabbing Bendy by the collar. “You’re lucky you’re allowed to walk free, Benjamin.”

Benjamin.

That name rang like a chain around his neck.

He didn’t respond. He never did. Not to that name.

“Answer me, you little monster!” the man shouted, shaking him. “Say your name!”

“I’m Bendy,” the boy whispered.

Wrong answer.

The slap came so fast, the world spun.

“BENDY!” Cuphead’s voice broke the memory like glass. He and the others surrounded him now, worried eyes glowing in the dark.

“Hey, hey—it’s okay. You’re here, you’re safe,” Boris said gently, reaching for his hand.

But Bendy flinched away, curling in on himself. He pressed his palms to his eyes, the tears still falling.

“They… they called me that again,” he choked. “B-Benjamin. I hate that name. I hate it.”

The room fell silent.

“I was just a kid,” he sobbed. “Just wanted to eat, to belong somewhere. But they saw me as a thing. A monster. A slave. And no matter how many times I told them, they wouldn’t stop. I wasn’t ‘Bendy’ to them. Just… that name.”

His voice cracked like broken porcelain.

Felix knelt beside him, eyes wide with heartbreak. “You don’t ever have to hear that again. Not while we’re around.”

“I hate that it still hurts,” Bendy whispered. “It was years ago, but… it still burns. I wake up, and it’s like I’m right there again.”

“You survived that,” Oswald said quietly, sitting beside him. “You survived, and you chose your name. Bendy. And no one can take that from you.”

Mugman swallowed hard. “You’re not alone anymore, okay?”

Cuphead didn’t say a word. He simply walked over and pulled Bendy into a hug. A tight one. The kind that says You are loved. You are not what they said. You are safe.

The others joined, wrapping arms and blankets around him.

Bendy clung to them like he might fall apart.

The room was filled with the quiet sound of his crying, but there was no judgment. No pity. Just love. Healing didn’t come easy, but surrounded by those who truly saw him, Bendy knew he could keep going.

And somewhere deep in his chest, the last echo of that cruel name began to fade.

Please hear me out.

I suddenly remembered a post that implied that Cups and Mugs are a parallel to Mike and Lucifer. The first though was Mugs=Mike and Cups=Lucifer, buth putting some though into it its the other way. I see the parallel between their actions, let me elaborate: in a post of the lil lucifer au blog brightgoat said that the devil rebeled more because of his pride and envy and wanted to overthrow his father for more power, dose this remind you of someone? Also cuphead and Mike they are alike in their loyalty, whit Michael loyal to his father and cuphead to his close ones.

I don't think I explained wery well so let me try again. Cuphead lives according to the way that was established when they started working ( for an angel the way god established) same work, same people, same bond, and doesn't seem like he wants to change it( baing promoted to a dealer doesn't count) while mugman seems to distance himself from everyone including cuphead just how the devil distanced himself from his brothers.

I might be wrong or have a point but this idea has been rooting my brain for the past week.
