Checking out other Quest AUs as I wait for my will to come back to continue with Inky Mystery.

Intro

This is a re-do of a blog for my main au! Been meaning to get this up and running, but just never had the time to do that. This is mainly where I'll be posting art for my au, as well as where I'll be posting the story.

I would use my main blog, but honestly I would like it to just be about the art I make, y'know?

By the way, this isn't going to be an ask blog...kinda. I'll let you know when I'll be taking questions, but for the most part I want to focus on getting the story of the AU told.

Again, because I like to do this to myself, I'm gonna ramble about the og quest Cuphead and what I didnt like/ What I changed :>

Like I said in Mugs I dont think that the cup bros will join Bandy, Boris and Felix on the quest. Now on to the og... yay... First of all in the original it seemed like the og was only for the purpose for shipping. Which I dont want. So that won't happen. Now I didn't write a lot on what I didn't like but this man is not perfect in any way but one thing that I found interesting and kept is the manipulative nature of him. Because he is a villain I just wanted him to have no pleasant qualities. Even to the extent that he is not the greatest to his own little brother. Basically he has a kill or be killed mentality. I kept his age the same and even his outfit. If I remember I said I was gonna talk about Elder Kettle. To be fully honest I kinda forgor ._. ANYWAY Elder Kettle was Cupheads and Mugmans only kind of father figure/ parent. Childhood wise Cup would be your typical trouble child as Mug was more skittish. I would think that once Elder Kettle passes, most likely of old age, Cup does not take it lightly. He goes to alcohol and gambling (you can see where this is going). So like in the original it was said that the Ink illness was caused/ brought back by Cup gambling and losing. I'm not sure how to plan this. I don't know if I wanna keep that or like Cup and Mug find an ancient cave in the Casino or something. Thats all I can think of at this moment of writing this. If you do read this and you have questions feel free to ask so I can think about it and better explain it. Should I make a different blog making a Reimagining of qftim... What are the boys (Rumbler and Tumbler, I think that's how you spell them) hobbies if they have any? Are they ever allowed outside of the casino?

Any friends of theirs-? Or are they more of a secret hidden by the devil?

Oh don't worry about getting the names wrong, they're a bit obtuse on my part!!

Rummer and Tumbler are both names for types of cups (though Rummer is often spelled Roemer instead)! It was meant to be an allusion to the phrase "Rough and Tumble", but that's been a bit lost.

"Rum" is also old slang for someone who is a little weird or wrong :) Sound familiar?

As for their hobbies, I think the two of them aren't given much other than what they have available to them in the casino. They don't have many friends other than the other workers, and they do what they're told as best they can. King Dice is their boss, and The Devil is (funnily enough) more of a disgruntled father figure to them.

Rummer had picked up smoking (he looks up to Mr. Wheezy), and Tumbler likes to play dominoes on his break. They both have a healthy taste for alcohol, but Tumbler gets sick.

When they're above ground on Inkwell, they're more focused on breaking things and causing mayhem in Cuphead and Mugman's names. Which doesn't often help them make friends, you know what I mean?

I think, if they were given the opportunity to better find themselves, Rummer would like animals and would have a pet, and Tumbler would be well-read, enjoying poetry.

yk looking at other peoples versions of the cupbros parents is always neat, because it's usually cuphead gets his traits from his mom, mugman gets them from his dad, and both parents are cups then theres mine, who's cupbros mother is almost chalice like, and their father is one of the deadly sins and neither of the brothers know that they're both the devils nephews, and neither does the devil

Release the Demons!

Steaming after his failed attempts of capturing Cuphead, the Devil unleashes his 3rd finest demons, since help is hard to come by. Two of them, Evil and Vile roam around wrecking havoc along with Bendy who he mistakes as Cuphead and Mugman.

He makes a deal with King Dice to help capture his friends who are also big fans of his. But, he ends up killing Evil and Vile by mistake and leaving Bendy grieving over the loss.

Thankfully, Bendy finds the two are alive and becomes more attached after that scare...until he and Cuphead laid eyes on the Four Horsemen!

After parting ways, Bendy unexpectedly runs into his blood father...THE DEVIL! (I know that's not a surprise!)

He demands he have Cuphead sign a soul contract; Bendy reluctantly succeeds, but Cuphead's soul debt has expired, which he learns later that evening, to his relief.

He reveals to him that he is a demon, which Cuphead keeps a secret until Bendy is ready to tell Mugman.

Ok dude, picture me this:

Mugman fakes being sick one day, and tea, cuphead, and kettle leave for errands. Once they’re gone, mugman pulls out the ol’ captain mugbeard book!

Joe comes out from behind the door.

Mugman: Dad? W-what are you doing here??

Joe: It’s my day off, and you are in big trouble mist- - wait, is that a captain mugbeard book?

Mugman: uh���.yeah?

Turns out joe is a fan of that book series too. His favorite character is a bartender named Jones, very shy, but he’ll beat the crap out of you.

They spend the rest of the day discussing their favorite characters, avoiding spoilers, and mugman got grounded by tea for faking being sick-

Alternate history babtqftim Bendy/Cuphead The ink machine never broke down, and ink sickness was one of the rare diseases whose cures were expensive, and not everyone could be lucky enough to get their hands on them.

After his father's death, Cuphead and Mugman went their separate ways: Mugman became a lawyer, and Cuphead, not wanting to part with the memory of his father, decided to continue his restaurant business. It was hard, sleepless, he even almost went bankrupt, but still kept afloat.

And then one evening, almost at closing time, the door of the restaurant is opened by a small horned silhouette with an unexpected answer about finding a job… Cuphead 6'0, 28y.o Mugman 6'2, 25y.o Boris 5'10, 21y.o Bendy 5'2, 27y.o Felix 6'0, 49y.o Ms. Chalice 5'8, 21y.o
