On the first day of my cruise, I found a cruise duck. What is a cruise duck?

I'm on the Crown Princess.

I'd also bought a hardcover copy of one of my fanfics, with the intent of leaving it behind in the cruise ship's library.

It's a fic close to my heart, and one that's easily accessible with only bare-minimum knowledge of Star Trek, and no knowledge at all of the other fandom it's fused with (The Old Guard, if you're wondering).

Here's a note I wrote for anyone who might find my fic in the ship library.

It's not unusual for guests to take books and leave their own books behind on their trips as a sort of exchange.

I tucked the duck's tag in to my fic and left it for someone to find. I hope someone out there enjoys it. 👋

So my recent hyper fixations has been all over the place more than they usually are. The past couple weeks they have been:

Metrology. Specifically tornadoes

Medical stuff/ survival medical books (like what to do if something happened to someone and you didn’t have a doctor scenarios/how to do it yourself stuff)

Serial k*llers

F^cked up books/splatter punk books

Cruise ships (specifically why they are dangerous)

The titanic (sorta goes with the cruise ship thing lol)

Mental health/dsm-5 stuff

Anatomy

Reading in general

Audio books

Dinosaurs/Jurassic park

So far that’s all 😅 it’s the most random my hyper fixations have been in a while

this is such a silly question but anyone know?- would growing up on a cargo ship influence certain motor skills like balance etc...???

i recall the rolling and pitch being common (ofc) and even when it was at dock it had a pretty noticeable tilt.

i was on this ship since i was a baby so i was learning all my motor skills including like walking and posture and balance and shit so would like that affect it maybe?????

ANYWAYS IM JUST ASKING CAUSE I STRUGGLE IN MY ART WITH MY DRAWINGS ALWAYS HAVE A TILT LIKE THEIR FUCKING ITALICS AND IM LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO BLAME BYE
