Comme des enfants dans le domaine physique, lorsque nous naissons de nouveau, nous avons besoin d'un modèle sur qui prendre exemple.

Éphésiens 5 : 1

Devenez donc les imitateurs de Dieu,

comme des enfants bien-aimés.

Il est donc capital dans le processus de croissance spirituelle de veiller sur soi-même en demeurant dans la Parole de Dieu. Paul l'a fait, c'est pourquoi il a dit aisément Cette Vérité en Plilippiens.

Philippiens 4 : 9

Ce que vous avez appris, reçu et

entendu de moi, et ce que vous

avez vu en moi, pratiquez-le. Et

le Dieu de paix sera avec vous.

Le terme " Imitateur " est le mot grec " mimêtês " d'où nous tirons le mot français << mime >>. C'est un adjectif qui émane du verbe " imiter " qui signifie plagier, copier. Dans l'acception positive, c'est reproduire à peu près ou exactement ce que fait une personne, c'est prendre quelqu'un pour exemple, modèle.

L'arrivée de Paul, de Silas et Timothée à Thessalonique a réveillé chez les uns une ardente envie de servir le vrai Dieu et chez les autres un refus de s'accoutumer aux principes de la Parole de Dieu.

En effet, Paul et sa suite enseignaient la Parole de vérité avec méthode et enthousiasme. Pendant que d'aucuns contestaient la Parole de vie ( par jalousie, les Judéens prirent avec eux quelques méchants hommes de la populace, provoquant des attroupements, et répandant l'agitation dans la ville.), d'autres ont marqué la différence en la recevant avec douceur ( Et ils examinaient chaque jour pour voir si ce qu'on leur disait était exact: c'était là le désir des hommes de Dieu). Actes 17: 1-15.

La Parole de Dieu est vivante et efficace, elle ne retourne point à Lui sans effet. Dieu a écrit Sa Parole pour ceux qui la croient. Voilà pourquoi au milieu de beaucoup de tribulations à Thessalonique, les élus se sont montrés capables de recevoir et d'appliquer la Parole à l'image de Paul, de Silas et de Timothée. De sur quoi une église s'est formée à Thessalonique.

Thessaloniciens 2 : 14

Cest à quoi il vous a appelés

par notre Évangile, pour que vous

possédiez la gloire de notre

Seigneur Jésus-Christ.

Ainsi nous voyons que pour être un modèle, il est judicieux d'observer et d'imiter ceux qui marchent selon la Parole de Dieu. Nous regardons comment ils se présentent, comment ils agissent, ce qu'ils disent afin de faire pareil: c'est le secret pour bien diffuser la Parole. Celui qui parle pour Dieu doit lui même d'abord revêtir la Parole de Dieu.

1- En tant que Dirigeant

Paul imitait le Christ en marchant résolument selon la Parole de Dieu. Il était donc capable de distancer l'adversité; sa vie était certainement sanctifiée. De même nous en tant que dirigeants devons prêcher par l'exemple. Il ne suffit pas seulement d'enseigner la Parole: il faut La pratiquer.

Jacques 1: 22 - 25

22- Mettez en pratique la Parole, et

ne vous bornez pas à lécouter, en

vous trompant vous-mêmes par

de faux raisonnements.

23- Car, si quelquun écoute la parole

et ne la met pas en pratique, il est

semblable à un homme qui regarde

dans un miroir son visage naturel,

24- et qui, après s'être regardé, sen va,

et oublie aussitôt quel il était.

25- Mais celui qui aura plongé les

regards dans la loi parfaite, la loi

de la liberté, et qui aura persévéré,

n'étant pas un auditeur oublieux,

mais se mettant à l'œuvre, celui-là

sera heureux dans son activité.

Puisque nous faisons des formations et des Cours à l'échelle nationale et internationale, il est judicieux et impératif de transmettre par notre marche toutes instructions qui y sont données! Afin que cela nous permette de marcher d'un même coeur. Lors des rassemblements,c'est nous les dirigeants qui devrions être prompts à servir. Parce que les croyants prennent exemple sur nous. Jésus-Christ la démontré en servant ses disciples, pourquoi pas nous! Par ailleurs,nous avons la responsabilité de réconcilier le monde à Dieu. Ne pas fermer la bouche. Jésus-Christ a tout appris de Dieu, et Paul de Jésus-Christ. Nous, nous devons aussi apprendre d'eux avec beaucoup d'amour.

2 Timothée 2:15

Efforce-toi de te présenter devant

Dieu comme un homme éprouvé,

un ouvrier qui n'a point à rougir, qui

dispense droitement la Parole de la

vérité.

2- En tant que croyant

Marcher d'une manière digne comme fils de Dieu: c'est surtout marcher suivant les traces de notre sauveur Jésus-Christ. Pour ce faire, l'étude et la mise en pratique de la Parole de Dieu est incontournable. Mais aussi, nous pouvons prendre pour exemple un croyant mature. C'est-à-dire quelqu'un qui vit la Parole de Dieu dans sa vie de tous les jours. Nous devons aussi veiller les uns sur les autres en nous corrigeant mutuellement pour être trouver irréprochable le jour de Christ. De cette façon, nous pouvons aussi à notre tour être des modèles pour les autres comme l'a été l'église de Thessalonique pour les autres églises.

1 Thessaloniciens 1 : 7

En sorte que vous êtes devenus un

modèle pour tous les croyants de la

Macédoine et de l'Achaïe.

De ce qui précède, il était question pour nous de mener une étude sur " Nos imitateurs " à la lumière de la Parole de Dieu. Force est de constater qu'un imitateur est une personne qui reproduit partiellement ou totalement ce que son prochain fait conformément à la volonté de Dieu. Il ne doit copier que ce qui est juste et bon. Pour imiter, nous devons être patient, disciplinés, et surtout humble à recevoir. Toutefois, nous devons aimer lire et étudier la Parole !

Que Dieu Vous comble de toutes sortes de grâces, vous bénisse richement, vous protège et vous garde en parfaite santé au nom de Jésus-Christ, amen !
