You know I have discussed in the past how I think it's quite likely Dragon is just Very Straight and that could've been a key, deciding factor in The Dragodile Divorce, but it is worth also considdering that the entire relationship could've been compulsory heterosexuality for (pre-t) Crocodile too. Like Croc could be straight and be exclusively attracted to women and he simply just... didn't figure it out until he had his gender shit sorted out

And, IDK, Dragon divorcing Croc because he's not into men is absolutely tragic and painfully real, but there is also something deeply sad about the idea of Crocodile being the one to divorce Dragon because he's the one who realized he wasn't actually into men

i was in an office talking to this guy and i had a little pack of crackers (the kind with just two crackers in a pouch) beside me. the guy notices the crackers that are sitting with my things and very obviously MY CRACKERS and what does he do. he snatches them and eats them while saying "i'm sorry, i'm sorry" with crumbs all in his beard

I LOVE this Aviendha, can't wait for her to meet Rand and affectionately mock the living daylights out of the Dragon Reborn.

I can see Stradowski's rough sincerity and Smart's sharp joy working very well together. She's cracking wit at Perrin! She's been out of captivity - should I say, a Box - for all of a few hours and she's deriving happiness from messing with her free-r and fellow traveler. She has a debt and it doesn't phase her for a beat! The antithesis of "duty heavier than a mountain". Duty and joy existing side by side.

#wheel of time spoilers #wot on prime spoilers #I didn't pick up this dynamic in the books #perhaps because Aiel humour is meant to be inscrutable #and perhaps because R1J1 was not gifted with believable other-culture comedy #and Aviendha has her own problems in them.#but the Aiel DO joke. a lot. to all the wetlanders' confusion. i think my problem with the current state of gorillaz is that its like. Too fanservice-y? like idk plastic beach was definitely like a Lot of fanservice a Lot of angst and melodrama but it was a Lot more bearable than whatevers happening during cracker island

but i still dont rlly know why i dislike the story to cracker island and song machine for the same reasons i Liked plastic beach :\

i, someone who keeps kosher, am in a hotel. i ordered food. they have a bar food setup where you get 3 small plates of food to pick at and a drink for cheap. got garlic bread, vegan prawn crackers (so no shellfish), and chicken skewers.

they did not have the chicken skewers and so, without asking, they substituted them for mini pork sausages. i explained that i could not eat them due to being kosher, so the cook said she would sort me out something else.

reader, she brought me battered shrimp.
