This is my first post on TheStoryTrail, a place where I’ll share my love for books and the stories that shape my days. Every day, I find comfort in the pages I read, and through these posts, I’ll be keeping a journal of my journey.

In the warm glow of a library on a winter afternoon, where the scent of old books mixes with the crisp air outside, I found a special kind of magic. Books, those quiet friends, open up worlds where heroes are made, hearts are healed, and hope shines bright.

My personal collection of cozy winter novels to get you in the mood for the holidays!

Yes I am one of those people who comes November it’s over for you fall bitches (don’t get me wrong I love fall and psl season is always something I look forward to). But to get in the right mood for the holidays, this is the books I tend to rotate towards to:

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone

The book is just so cozy and filled with adventures. I can really immerse myself in the magical universe that Rowling has created. The Christmas scene always gets me excited: when Harry wakes up not thinking he had gotten any gifts at all, to be showered with gifts and love from the people he has befriended at Hogwarts.

Little Women

“Christmas won’t be Christmas without any presents!” The novel starts with Christmas and ends with Christmas, what more to love?!

The Lion, the witch and the wardrobe

Set in a winter wonderland with antopomorphic animals and the appearance of Santa?! This book should be a must read on this list!

Northern Lights

It’s honestly just the winter vibes and armoured icebears that makes me see this is a winter-holiday book, but that’s still valid right?!

The Bear And The Nightinggale

Set in medieval Russia: this is not only a winter-cozy novel but a fairytale retelling of pagan Russia that meets Christianity! It’s filled with magical- and fairytale beings from Russian folklore!

If you suddenly switched places with the main character of your current read, what would you be doing right now? 📖🤎🍂 . Isabel would literally be eating books because she’s reading The Book Eaters!(Imagine tho, eating our books!! What an expensive diet. 😂📚) . Meanwhile, I finally got back to finishing Nona the Ninth and it is safe to say my odds of survival are not good. But I do love Nona. 🥺🤎 . 📚 What holiday books & movies are you reading/watching this month? And/or, what are you reading this weekend?? Friday has finally arrived, Bookworms. Do you have any fun reading plans, or other plans, this weekend? I am hoping to spend the weekend reading and watching holiday movies. (We shall see if it actually happens though. 😏) Are you reading any holiday books or watching any holiday movies this month? I have a lot of holiday books picked out to read this month. A few of them are pictured above, and I also have a few ebooks and audiobooks borrowed from the library as well. I’m hoping to get to as many of them as I can. I’ve already read one from the stack above, and I’m hoping to finish up the second one today. Next on my TBR is *Season of Love* by Helena Greer. It sounds so cute! ❤️ As for movies, my go-to favorite holiday movies are While You Were Sleeping and You’ve Got Mail … Though, YGM is really a great movie for any season. ❤️ What holiday books and movies will you be enjoying this month?
