5) In from the cold?

So, typical Gotham nights! Ditch everything in the front hall, go straight to my room and change, and then maybe get a nice hot tea, warm my hands up.

7) Trick to sleep?

No. If I'm not sleeping, I'm not going to; I usually get up and either knit, a little, or look at any work that came home with me. You'd be amazed what things you catch when you've been running for thirteen hours.

18) Lazy mornings?

What are those? Hon, I work at one of the busiest nightclubs in Gotham. I'm out of bed and out the door nine days outta ten, and the tenth day I'm still moving because groceries don't buy themselves and the one time I hired a cleaner, they tried to rob and murder me. I was so pissed. He did a great job, but he followed it up with that! Why me?

Well as the nature of inside jokes go it’s not as funny when I tell it vs being there, but the one I think of off the top of my head is bourbon bacon cheeseburger

Was a specialty at Wendy’s for a while, the way our now husband said it was less than clear pronunciation and it devolved into saying it less and less clearly to what we now pronounce as “burr-bu bau-cun che-bou-guh “

First thing that comes to mind is the perfect series? I’m not entirely sure that is what it’s called but it’s these books:

And it’s simply because

a) it was very clearly a man’s perspective on what women find important/the decisions they made (I disagree on many of the behaviors he chose for the main character to do)

b) the last two became somewhat hard to follow, similar to the way attack on titan s4 started so wildly away from the first three seasons and without any explanation until later on in the season, it confuses me when a story does not have some perspective initially of the setting or characters already introduced (especially 3 seasons/books in)

It depends really on how long it’s been since we last had a chat! But for this instance I’ll pretend it’s Jay, he’s been dormant since last February and we don’t know why:

“ Jay! Hello! Do you remember the man you thought you were gay for but it turns out cloud was just blending a little? We married him! He’s been lovely so far, and great with the littles. Unfortunately it seems we do not feel made for peace, or at least the others are, and it’s going to take time now that we’re no longer in our old..situation. Dahlia and Luna have been fronting more for some reason, it’s nice because I get some intermodal relief but I worry about how to catch up and comfort those who do not understand our present, finding our bed with a man kind as he may be. We miss you dearly and are still advocating for a kitten as you wanted, and still reblog pictures of cats for you.”

You gotta read and watch some old books and films that aren’t 100% modern politically correct. I’m not saying you should agree with everything in them but you need to learn where genres came from to understand what those genres are doing today and where media deconstructing old tropes is coming from.

Also, more often than you might think, they’re not actually promoting bigotry so much as “didn’t consider all the implications of something” or just used words that were polite then but considered offensive now.

katnep is the type of ship you'd expect nepeta to try really hard and dress all cutely and karkat be a bit more lazy and wear the same clothes BUT if we're all being honest karkat would absolutely dress up all fancy and nepeta would wear her usual clothes. karkat would go to kanaya in a heartbeat, kanaya would try to reach out to nepeta but nepeta will not comply.

bonus points if kanaya continues to try and make something pretty but also comfortable and fitting for nepetas tastes but it backfires because she then never takes it off and kanaya has to watch it very clearly become worn and ruined as nepeta rolls around in dirt. Kanaya accounted for that of course, but nepeta somehow surpassed her expectations anyways

I am for the most part! Just been real heckin' sleepy. xD

Ahko'to's preferred type of affection is physical. He loves being held, pet, and taken care of. Being able to share some sort of contact, especially with those he loves and cares for, is essential for him. It's how he shows love to those around him.

That said, he is also respectful of others' preferences, and will fall back on verbal affection if someone is touch averse.

The middle. :) Before anyone gives me that silly judgmental look, I'll have you know that Jonathan and I never really got out of the habit of sleeping like we were still sharing a single bed, so it isn't my fault.

12) Gesture of affection?

I like my tea a very certain way. Jonathan knows what that is, and every so often he'll get it for me.
