How To Form A Cover Band!

Hello, Tumblr folks!

I'm not sure where to ask this exactly, and don't know if it's Tumblr material. But if I, hypothetically, wanted to start a cover band, and wanted to look for people interested in joining said hypothetical cover band, what should I do? How do cover bands / bands in general get made when you don't have 3-4 musician friends hovering around waiting to be asked?

I think there are some amazng bands out there that would be great for the Gold Rush Country Music Festival 2024. So many good local bands here in Northern California. But I would also love to see Ultimate Aldean to headline or Co Headline. that would be amazing. He is so good and maybe outperforms the JasonAldean haha. Who would you like to see at the 2024 GRCMF?
