everyone always talks about how leshawna should have won island and i partially agree but i also disagree because HEAR ME OUT she should have won action! i don't care that should have been HER SEASON. her teammates were being petty and ridiculous towards her for half the season just because she did something that they all would have done too to win a reward, and because she talked a little shit about them. WHO CARES!! she deserved that reward anyway for doing most of the work.
and she could have gotten her revenge from being voted out due to unfair semantics the previous season and shown everyone that she wouldn't take it lying down. she knew she had the ability to win. & I think there was so much potential to set her apart from courtney. both courtney and leshawna had unreasonable eliminations but while courtney came back demanding unfair rules and advantages to help her win, leshawna continued to play the game fair and square.

Total drama characters as Webkinz
continuing the series of total drama characters as random stuff i like. the vast majority of these are classics because i played this game in 2010 and "collected" (looked at them longingly on the internet because they were too expensive/rare in my country compared to the US) the toys a little past that and so theyre the ones im most familiar with. As always these are in (mostly) alphabetical order
Alejandro: Royal Cobra (eStore)
Tumblr media
Beth: Eluvant (Classic)
Tumblr media
Bridgette: Blue Trigger Fish (Classic Lil Kinz) that my sister accidentally named fluffy as a kid and got really mad when i called it smoothie not understanding the implications of calling a fish smoothie at the time when fish vs blender content was widespread online and while my sister was a big fish person with a 20 gal fish tank
Tumblr media
Cody: Key Lime Dino (Classic) That my brother had as a kid that pissed me off really bad and still kinda pisses me off
Tumblr media
Courtney: Signature King Charles Cocker Spaniel (Signature) because i thought i was better than everyone as a kid for owning a signature pet then i realized it literally wasn't special in any way because it didn't actually give membership like i thought and i cried when i found out
Tumblr media
Dj: Butterscotch Bunny (Classic)
Tumblr media
Duncan: Rockerz Bulldog (Classic)
Tumblr media
Eva: Grey Wolf (Classic)
Tumblr media
Ezekiel: Donkey (Classic)
Tumblr media
Geoff: Sparkle Harp Seal (Classic)
Tumblr media
Gwen: Blufadoodle (Classic) Because i loved it as a kid and wanted it so bad and am wondering why as an adult
Tumblr media
Harold: Googles (Classic) that i gave to my ex who instantly ruined it
Tumblr media
Heather: Signature Fox (Signature) Because this is the actual signature pet i had and i'm still disappointed that it didn't give me membership but i do still think i was better than everyone for having a signature pet
Tumblr media
Izzy: Gold and White Cat (Classic) because i used to have this webkinz that i used to pour milk on and suck the milk back out of and it was sopping wet all the time 😭i used to slam it against walls and it would m
Tumblr media
Justin: White Tiger (Classic)
Tumblr media
Katie: Pizzazzy Puppy (Classic) Sadie: Polka-Dot Puppy (Classic) Because i love the way they look together
Tumblr media
Leshawna: Poofy Poodle (Classic) That my sister had and i was so jealous of as a kid but she thought it was mine so it was in limbo for like 10 years until she gave it to me last month
Tumblr media
Lindsay: Rockerz Coyote (eStore)
Tumblr media
Noah: Lil Cocker Spaniel (Classic Lil Kinz) but specifically the one i bought at the thrift store for 1 dollar last week
Tumblr media
Owen: Polar Bear (Classic)
Tumblr media
Sierra: Kiwi Bird (Promo) Because it will not get off my ass and it is really annoying but also cute and funny and i cannot get myself to legitimately hate it
Tumblr media
Trent: Lil Tree Frog (Classic) because my brother also had this one and it also pissed me off a lot
Tumblr media
Tyler: Tie Dye Frog (Classic) because my sister had this one and i was chill with it but still don't really get why she got a frog webkinz when theres like a billion other options

I think im actually going to change who wins in my team escope tdwt au?
Originally Noah was going to win and alenoah was gonna be the final 2, but it felt both like a disservice to Heather's character who does have development over the course of the season and it wasn't super compelling to me (she's way more invested in the competition than Noah is + my personal agenda of making Alejandro loose the competition in every single AU i write) + Noah winning just not making for a satisfying ending
Heather in this AU would end up in a similar "previous antagonist becomes antihero due to a bigger vilain popping up" position as she does in canon, but it's combined with her making a genuine friend on the show in Harold; she's shown in the best light she's ever been shown on the show and while a good chunk of the audience is supporting Noah for the finale, she still has a decent crowd of supporters.
It's also my personnal mission to make Alejandro loose in every Total Drama AU i write apparently, and him loosing the tie-breaker is perfect for angst. Also i've seen my fair share of tdwt alenoah rewrites and none of them have included both in the final 3 tie-breaker so it would be fun to explore, with Noah only standing a chance against Alejandro thanks to his dodging ability and wanting to put an end to their endless pining...
It could go two ways - either Noah wins the Tie-Breaker or Alejandro wins the tie-breaker.
Noah at this point in the competition is sure of three things:
Alejandro's a very competitive guy, with a flare for the dramatics
Him and Noah have had been semi-friendly semi-fighting all competition, with it dipping more into a rivalry as of late (the thing keeping him trying after Eva's elimination)
And based on both of these facts:
Alejandro's most likely looking for a dramatic victory over him. Noah's not willing to give him that.
So, mid-spar, Noah's trying to solve this conflict once and for all - Not his brightest idea, but he's joined Total Drama so he's made worse decisions - and opts to be genuine while dodging Alejandro's hits. His earnestness does break through eventually, and confesses to him. They're both standing near the edge of the fighting platform, and are both tired as hell from the previous challenge.
That is the only reason Noah considers as the one behind Alejandro leaning in and kissing him.
After this is where the ending would diverge depending on who ends up in the final two: Alejandro would win by Noah falling into the water right afterwards on his own accord, and Noah would win by tricking Alejandro into falling into the shark infested water.
either making it to the final 2 doesn't change the outcome of Heather winning in the end, but it would change the banter and Helpers; Heather would pick Sierra (who got over Heather booting her back in Paris because she's "a sucker for redemption arcs") and Leshawna (who's friendly with her in this AU) while the boys would pick a combination of the third placer + one of their closest friendship on the show (Courtney and Noah for Alejandro, Alejandro and Izzy for Noah). Heather still ends up in the cage trap and is genuinly pissed at this, but Harold and Leshawna (through the power of friendship) snap her out of it with a similar line as in canon (that she's a better person now and either 1. more deserving of the win for them if she's against Noah or 2. the 'good guy' if she's going against Alejandro) and manages to climb up the volcano.
If Heather's against Noah, she catches up to him due to his garbage athletisism and if it's Alejandro, it's the cast catching onto his distaste of the "Al" nickname and using it against him (probably Owen and Izzy, the latter joining in for shits and giggles). If it's against Noah it'll be a roundabout way of having a friendship finale, it's just the good guy with friends vs the less good guy who's gotten better thanks to friendship and self reflection, and if it's Alejandro and Heather it's just bad guy vs good guy, more like in canon :p they could have a stupid dramatic swordfight with the dummies that Alejandro looses like an idiot and it gets him slipping to the volcano's base (because it would be a funny visual).
The volcano still explodes at the end, but i don't know if i want the "alejandro gets partially burnt" ending or "everyone (but the million dollars) is fine" ending yet. idk

Why Total Drama Action was worse than TDI AND TDWT
I was scrolling through Total Drama Tumblr when something caught my attention. A post that talked about Cody and how he was technically the protagonist (along with Heather) in Total Drama World Tour. And that got me thinking.
Season One protagonist: Gwen (Owen could be argued but I would say he was more of a mascot than a protagonist)
Season Two protagonist: No Clear protag (Could say Duncan, and I'll get to that in a bit)
Season Three protagonists: Heather and Cody
And I think this is why TDA was worse than the other two seasons.
In TDI, Gwen was the "Straight Man" of the 22 contestants. She was levelheaded and reacted the most normal out everyone, even calling out others for their lack of reaction to the crazy situation they were faced with. While others like Leshawna, Heather, Trent and Duncan could also be weirded out and confused at the nonsense, they tended to go with it without much question. We followed Gwen throughout the season from the beginning to the finale.
In TDWT, Heather was the main protagonist during the first half of the season, with Cody joining her during the second half. For Cody, the first half was used to set him up for the second half of the season, setting the stage with his and Sierra's dynamic and the issues that came from it. Both Cody and Heather, while not as much as a "Straight Man" that Gwen was in Season One, were usually pretty levelheaded and had season long problems with Sierra and Alejandro respectively. We followed them from the beginning to the finale. (Even though Cody wasn't in the Final Two, he still played a key part in it.)
TDA, however? As I stated above, you could say it was Duncan as he made it to the finale, but I disagree with that. The difference between Duncan and the others is that from the beginning of their respective seasons, the first episodes practically outright stated what the overarching problems would be for the protags. Gwen was surrounded by a bunch of outlandish characters with skills and flaws that could help them in challenges she couldn't understand but needed to out power through if she wanted to win. Heather's behavior from past seasons catching up to her making her a target while also trying to keep Alejandro under her radar. Cody had to deal with Sierra's obsession of him and the problems that stemmed from it while just trying to survive everything thrown at him. Duncan? Nothing that follows him all the way to the finale. The relationship drama doesn't count since it either didn't affect him (Gwen and Trent) or it wasn't introduced until way later into the game (him and Courtney) (Also to mention that Gwen was the protag again before she was eliminated)
I am not saying that having a clear-cut protagonist would have saved TDA, but it definitely would have helped it. Having a protagonist that has a season-long overarching storyline that we follow along with a resolution is the key to a good season. Just look at the seasons that follow the protagonist pattern vs. the ones that don't and there is a clear difference in how the fans receive it. Anyway, these are just my thoughts, but I feel they are worth noting down.

I wanna know more about the transmasc heather hc,,, like where did it come from or how would he realise it maybe?
Oh boy!
A have of whole. timeline in my head for this.
So. so the youngest reference we have of Heather is TDDDDI
Tumblr media
“I’m guessing either your parents are divorced or you were really fat and pimply once.”
With the video messages from home Island’s final five received showing us Heather’s parents together, it’s the latter that is strongly implied to be true.
Of course, Heather very much does not look like this anymore. While a lot of people do thin up around puberty-
Tumblr media
“Of course, only the toothpicky of us is going to fit through that vent. I’m talking model thin. So surely the most athletic of us would want to show off her natural sleekness!”
“For once, I agree with you.”
-I do not consider this to be the case with Heather.
I think of this as a young Heather feeling body dysmorphia and coming to her parents (mainly her mother in my head, as she speaks of her mother far more than her father) for support. However, her mother tells her she feels this because she isn’t thin.
Heather feels miserable, so she listens. She does whatever it takes to look like what others want her to. And eventually, she does.
She still feels miserable. Because it was never about that
The general concept of Heather performing mainline attractiveness for the approval of others extends to World Tour. In Can’t Help Falling in Louvre, Heather is in the line up of girls who wish to be DJ’s model in the tiebreaker. She certainly doesn’t seem to be enjoying herself there, rather seeming very desperate for some form of validation (possibly heightened by the recent loss of her tooth).
Furthermore, we have the idea of femininity being forced on Heather in Brunch of Disgustingness.
Tumblr media
“Thanks Heather, but I prefer to keep it natural.”
“Like my mom always says, a lady can always use a little boost in the looks department.”
To me, this scene calls to mind the idea of a younger Heather in Bridgette’s position, not wanting to wear makeup (so to say, not wanting to appear feminine) but having her mother enforce in onto her.
I believe most of Heather’s dynamics with female characters as being drawn from this experience. Lindsay is very outwardly feminine and finds nothing but joy in it, which Heather never did, Gwen rejects a lot of traditional expectations people have of her because they see her as a girl, which Heather was never able to escape. Thus her relationships with them and others are incredibly hostile.
Now, going into World Tour, we have Heather’s antihero arc and her relationship with Alejandro. With both of these things, we see Heather at her happiest.
Now, Heather’s villainy in Island is strongly gendered. Her dynamics with Gwen, Leshawna, Beth and Lindsay, even Trent, are fundamentally written with the idea Heather Is A Girl to the extent you can’t conceptually genderswap Heather and write her dynamics in anyway similar as they are in canon.
In contrast, in my own opinion, WT Heather is not even half as gendered as she was before. You could genderswap Heather and her relationships with Alejandro, Gwen, Courtney, Cody, Sierra, DJ, etc would not change in any particularly notable way. In that sense, Heather as an antihero is strongly opposed to her as a villain.
Regarding her relationship with Alejandro, as it nears its climax we have this moment
Tumblr media
Which is an interesting bit of gender non conformity, putting Heather in the traditionally male role while putting Alejandro in the traditionally female role.
Then we have the iconic moment of:
Tumblr media
“You mean… I’m the good guy?”
Not only do we a bit more nonconformity with “good guy”, but we also see that Heather’s dynamic with Alejandro puts her as the hero and that she finds joy in that position,
Taking this in addition to how Heather’s villainy is so strongly tied to her status as a women, we can equate the concept of hero vs villain to the concept of male vs female.
As I already said, Heather’s relationship with Alejandro and her antihero arc are where we see Heather at her happiest, which is why I began viewing them, especially the good guy line, as equating to Heather experiencing gender euphoria.
As for when the Gender Thoughts finally hit Heather, I think it would be post TDA but pre-Celebrity Manhunt, when Heather’s hair was growing back.
We never see Heather with short hair, and to me, never had Heather until then. For the first time, Heather saw himself looking “boy-ish” and started to feel some amount of gender euphoria. Though, I don’t think he really understood what he was feeling at the time, and immediately started wearing hair extensions to bury that feeling out of panic.
I think Heather wouldn’t start transitioning until he was into his romantic relationship with Alejandro. Now, I personally hc Alejandro as genderfluid, so being in a relationship with him is what made Heather realize he didn’t have to be a girl if he didn’t want to. I have a similar train of thought regarding his friendship with Harold, who I headcanon as transfem.
So yeah! I think that’s everything. Sorry if you weren’t expecting a answer that long anon fhhsrhvfhjb

evil version of that previous anon: and what were your LEAST favorite parts of each of those seasons?
sorry i got to this so late! buuut
total drama
season 1: leshawna's elimination. just... utter bullshit. closely followed by geoff's. also utter bullshit. in fact heather's whole plot armor was meh
season 2: sorry guys but courtney's entire arc. i can't stand her in TDA. she's meh to okay at best in TDI and fine until the gwuncan stuff in TDWT, after that i just can't even. she's so annoying sorry <//3
season 3: EZEKIEL'S MUTANT ARC COME ONNN MY MAN DESERVES BETTER LET HIM BE HAPPY FUCK YOU
season 4: the all-men finale. we should've gotten a zoey vs cameron finale. boo
season 5: the fact that it exists. i have so many problems with it, it's hard to narrow it down to just one single part i hated most, but there is one! i hated how every character was dumbed down. heather just telling alejandro she had the idol. alejandro just telling mal he had proof he was evil. many eliminations. the fact that the final five was... well, that. but most, i hated mal's arc and how mike was 'cured' of DID by pressing a button. i won't speak much on it since it's nowhere near my expertise nor business as a singlet but i would imagine that is. not how it fucking works. at all and just such a sad sterotyped thing to add an eViL alter to the poor guy just to give him more substance. plus i've discussed this with a mutual before but mal just feels like max taken seriously by the narrative. yeah i hate this season there's a reason it gets trampled in my fic
season 6: there was so much potential for max to be a hero and stand up to scarlett. like. so much. i love him he deserved better. that's not the worst tho and if you're new here let me tell you I FUCKING HATE DAVE. OKAY. i have a BIG issue with that guy which is half because he reminds me of some asshole i know irl and half because he just fucking sucks. i don't get any dave ship, any dave love, anything at all. there is nothing to like about him. he is genuinely one of the very few total drama characters that i can't even make up the substance he lacks. just. fuck dave
season 7 (RR): the daters and best friends fell so flat for me in different ways. the daters were just so annoying and i couldn't have been happier at their elimination. the best friends just felt so forced to me. i mean i'm also a romance-repulsed(-ish, not always, it's complicated) aromantic but oh my goddd... they dragged on for sooo loooongggggggg
season 8: the jurasic fart episode. also how chase treated emma. again fuck these allos /j
season 9: PRILEB. OKAY LISTEN. i fucking LOVE prileb BUT i also fucking HATEEE them. they could've been so good if priya was just eliminated earlier. caleb could've had more to him than priya's misunderstood boyfriend, he could've made alliances and friends, but noooo just give him an entire miscommunication arc FUCK YOU yeah prileb could've been so good if it was good (total drama catchphrase)
disventure camp
season 1: fiore's betrayal to alec felt like terrible writing to me and i'll still stand by that. a character like fiore needs more than one side and alec was that other, softer, caring side. and they threw it all away for shock value! <//3 i really hope these two make up :( i miss them so much. oh also the downfall of tomjake like what the fuck happened oh my
season 2: some challenges were... creepy and weird to say the least. spin the wheel to see who to kiss? my aro ass could never. and when kristal indirectly outed aiden during the dares challenge? like, this yo host? trevor would never <3
season 3: whatever the fuck riya and connor, as well as tom and jake, as well as ally and hunter, as well as- FUCK IT WHATEVER THE FUCK THE COUPLES HAVE GOING ON. YES ALL OF THEM EXcept gabellie. keep going my loves you're doing great

You know what would’ve been awesome in Total Drama Action? Duncan & Courtney vs Harold & LeShawna as a couples feud.
Action missed out on so many opportunities based off their own plot points and for what? 💀

oooooooh. okay yeah that's way better *scribbles my tiny little notes*
she would definitely insist her alliance with heather is on more equal terms this time, and during the race she doesn't get a chance to talk to gwen or duncan until the actual eating challenge part. one of them (probably gwen?) sits out, lindsay gets out first, and she starts talking about the kiss (quietly, since chris doesn't want them interrupting the song) until one of them accidentally gets too loud right after a part stops...(and alejandro gets on the loser bench as well since he doesn't have someone to cheat for him probably) and courtney goes ballistic on both the remaining members and probably dunks the food in their face causing them all to be out.
tyler wins immunity since without the love triangle members i think he would be the best at eating gross foods (celebrity manhunt special clips with leshawna). heather is upset with lindsay since they could've held it for later but lindsay counters with "gwen was feeling guilty anyway", and then one of the members gets eliminated, leaning courtney? or possibly make it a double again
i have not worked out what happens next but the final four are alejandro tyler lindsay and one of heather duncan or gwen. the fourth person wins immunity, and there's a tiebreaker between tyler and lindsay which consists of finding one of the unfound fuel barrels. lindsay gets to vent out all her feelings and admits that no matter how flawed she is she still loves tyler and wants to do better until the fourth person tells her just to go look.
So the post-merge cast are Lindsay, Tyler, Alejandro, Courtney, Gwen, Duncan, Heather and Owen? With Owen being voted out in Niagara Falls, I'm assuming.
That's a pretty strong cast right there. I think having China change to just a single elimination would be a good idea from a storytelling point- the Gwuncan kiss just happened, so Chris would want to milk that drama for all it's worth, whilst the Lyler situation is brewing in the background.
Obviously, Lindsay and Heather would want to vote out Alejandro or someone Alejandro-adjacent; I'm thinking, if Duncan's still gunning for the pseudo-alliance with Alejandro he had in canon, that China would be as good a place as any to have him eliminated. That way, the fallout of the Gwuncan kiss can play out between Courtney and Gwen instead. Or, if you're feeling more dramatic, have China end up as a reward challenge (because Chris wouldn't let Duncan be voted out so soon after getting him back) and just make the Rapa Nui challenge an elimination round instead. Add a double elimination in the Serengeti, and you're golden.
I think having two of the three 'love triangle' components eliminated in the Serengeti would help ease the attention off of the Gwuncan fiasco and back on to Lindsay's struggle against Alejandro. If I may, I'd suggest having both Gwen and Duncan eliminated, and having Lindsay develop some sort of mutual understanding semi-friendship with Courtney over their shared experience with heartbreak via stolen boyfriend. But if you'd prefer (given you said you wanted either Heather, Duncan or Gwen in the final four), keep Duncan around instead.
Come Drumheller, I think it's be best to keep it as Lindsay and Heather vs Alejandro and Tyler, with the Lyler interaction happening as you suggested. That way, you only have to worry about the one major plotline.
Would it be more or less tragic to have Tyler end up eliminated here? Because you could lose either Tyler or Heather here, so long as Lindsay and Alejandro end up duking it out atop the volcano.

my unsolicited total drama opinions: who should've won every season
tdi
gwen and leshawna. leshawna's elimination was complete BS she didn't deserve it and we all know she would've won the season if they didnt rig her elimination. owen didn't deserve to win tdi. yes he was nice but there were way better competitors like gwen, leshawna, and heather who would've deserved it way more than him. gwen is a good winner. no change.
tda
lindsay and harold. come on. duncan is the most undeserved winner ever. beth is beth. they need to go. lindsay grew so much during tda and she deserves a REWARD!! as for harold he'd have awesome chemistry with lindsay in the finale and he was really strong in tda. i do think courtney might deserve the W here more than harold but harold has better chemistry and i prefer courtney as the winner of a different season
tdwt
the tdwt winners are perfect the way they are and if you disagree with me you're wrong
tdroti
this one is really biased because i have a deep hatred of cameron but i think jo and lightning would've been a really funny duo for the finale. it'd also be a fair fight. you know what wasn't a fair fight? cameron in the fucking ironman suit vs defenseless lightning. that shit was so boring to watch
tdas
zoey and courtney. first of all, mike deserves nothing after the horrendous character arc he had in tdas. secondly, courtney was the strongest total drama competitor to never win a season. i don't think anyone would disagree on that. courtney is THE all-star. zoey is whatever. she did place like 3rd in roti so it makes sense for her to be the winning roti contestant.
tdpi
i never watched this season but judging from the limited content ive consumed from it i think the short little fucker with the purple hair should win
tdrr
the cadets and the sisters. listen i think the ice dancers deserve the W more than the sisters but they'd be such annoying winners. i love the ice dancers tho. anyways the cadets deserved it 100% and emma and kitty were just such great characters like they deserved it more than geoff and mcstupidface (i forgot his name) and also it would wrap up their arc of learning to trust each other really well
tdi2023
bowie and julia. listen to me. hear me out. i do think priya deserved to win more than anyone else. i also think that her winning does her character a massive disservice. she could've lost and had an awesome rebellion arc. instead we got the most predictable winner ever. bowie was perfect though. and i am 100% biased towards julia but she was absolutely the next best player after priya and bowie. she didn't play the social game well but she was way stronger in challenges than bowie (and even priya a lot of the time)

Random idea: Noah comes back as a mole in TDA and not Owen.
Thinking about actions merge cast and how it was genuinely great but there were several much better ways they could have gone about it, with Owens return being possibly the most controversial aspect. A previous winner getting yet more screen time. But I think the idea of a mole coming back into the game has potential with Noah.
I think Noah would be better because not only would he not be loyal to anyone, but fit into the established merge cast of action almost perfectly with already established dynamics with nearly everyone left. He already doesn't like Duncan, Courtney, or Justin. He and Harold would probably have some weird intellectual dick measuring contest. He'd have some weird dumb vs smart dynamic with Lindsay and a mutual underdog story with Beth (I also see him mildly annoying/antagonizing her due to how little of a threat she is in his eyes) and while not outright enemies, Leshawna has been outspoken in not liking his disrespectful attitude.
But what about the reason for him coming back? I think rather than Chris taking advantage of Owen's financial situation to stir up drama, he'd bring in Noah in an attempt to stir up drama, but specifically disrupting Courtney and getting her eliminated, trying to ditch her in a way that doesn't tip off her lawyers, promising Noah both an easy chance at the million halfway in and future job opportunities in the industry, tying into his role in celebrity manhunt. He'd pick him because of all the eliminated players, he has the best chance of not leaking information and actually being good at stirring up drama. But Noah would have a different plan. He'd be down to boot Courtney, sure. But all Chris said was that he had to beat her at some point, so he might be inclined to delay her specific elimination in case Chris sees him outliving his usefulness.
The way I see him getting in is him "randomly" winning a raffle in the aftermath and joining the game at the start of the merge rather than in the rock biopic episode. Another advantage of this is how you can pretty easily have the same elimination order, only some are more justified now.
Leshawna-A strong player in her own right. Once Justin reveals his plan to boot her, Noah is right behind him, Courtney, and Duncan in voting her off, making it four votes to send her home. She voices distrust in Noah, but both him and Chris brush it off as her being salty.
Justin-again, him and Noah don't get along. He'd pretend to work with him to screw over Duncan only to fight him off near the end, not only securing his elimination but a small connection to Courtney.
Lindsay-She still wins the mystery challenge here, which gets under his skin and make him paranoid that Lindsay is somehow evolving into a master manipulator. Despite supposedly being meant to boot Courtney and having the chance to convince Lindsay, Harold, and Beth into it, he gets Courtney and Duncan to boot Lindsay. Chris gets pissed at him for this.
Harold-Pretty much the same thing. Harold is always a little suspicious of Noah after Leshawna is booted (and maybe they have some weird superhero persona off in that challenge) and has confirmation, so Noah is forced to boot him over Courtney.
Courtney-Noah is forced to up his game in stirring up drama. The episode goes as normal, with Courtney being voted off and Noah being fired after he's found out. And since him being fired is a double elimination, he technically didn't beat Courtney and Chris therefore doesn't have to make good on any of his promises.
So there's my idea that I thought was interesting. Hope you liked it.

Total Drama Island Review, “Dodgebrawl”
Last time, on Total Drama Island! The team went head-to-head in The Awakeathon, a challenge to see who could stay up the longest! It was a rough battle, but the Screaming Gophers managed to pull above the rest by the skin of their teeth, leaving the Killer Bass to choose Eva as their disqualified teammate. Heather made an alliance with Beth and Lindsay while Trent and Gwen looked out at the stars.
Like last time, the poll actually went the same as the show! Marking Ezekial and Eva as off both in canon and in this silly little fanon we're making.
This week, we come to "Dodgebrawl!" An episode a lot of people tend to forget about. But not here! Get ready for a lot of dodgeballs and maybe a few sleepy Duncans as we progress through.
SYNOPSIS
Tumblr media
(Chris) "Duncan! You look like death, dude."
We open on the mess hall. The Screaming Gophers are chipper and happy as they dine on their mushy breakfast- the Killer Bass, on the other hand, not-so-much. Chris comes over to check in and learns that Harold snored all that night, causing a rough bout of sleep across the board. He laughs at Duncan- currently going on four days of no sleep, for those not keeping track- only to back off when the boy threatens to get tried as an adult for murder.
Someone- probably Duncan- decides to get even, painting a marker mustache on Harold. The boy seems to like it, however. Mission failed we'll get 'em next time.

(Gwen) "I'm so tired... I can't even feel my face."
Chris announces Gwen's arrival. The Gophers cheer for their clearly bedraggled teammate, still high off their win from last week.
Courtney gets on the bathroom cam to complain about kicking Eva off- something she herself had been on board with at the time. I'm picturing Eva on Loser Island pointing at the screen and bellowing HYPOCRITE.

On a more serious note, Heather goes over the refined rules for the alliance. There's three in total. 1.) Heather is top dog, don't fuck with Heather. 2.) Fucking with Heather can get you kicked from the alliance. 3.) Heather has full access to Lindsay and Beth's items, but they cannot touch anything of hers. The girls are less than pleased with this, but arguing means losing a spot in the final three.
Heather goes on to taunt the Killer Bass, leading to a glob of Chef's Delight getting yeeted into Gwen's face via Courtney.

The teams are eventually herded into a mini-gymnasium they've set up on the sand. Duncan threatens to turn this show into a snuff film before knocking out for the day on the bleachers.
Chris announces the challenge for the week: dodgeball. He explains the rules just in case someone has never been in a public school gym class before- hit with a ball you're out, catch a ball the thrower is out and you can call someone in, you can deflect balls with other balls (but if it's knocked out of your hands, it counts as getting hit), you know the drill.

The Gophers have too many players, so two have to sit out every game. Gwen is obviously out due to lack of sleep. Noah gladly volunteers to sit out as well, being not exactly a brawny fella.
This leaves the teams as: DJ, Courtney, Katie, Tyler and Harold VS Heather, Lindsay, Owen, Leshawna and Cody.
Tumblr media
The match starts off strong with Owen throwing Tyler into a wall with a dodgeball. Harold tries for some fancy shit and fails despite Leshawna giving him a free shot, getting out immediately. Katie manages to get a likely concussed Lindsay but she's just happy to flirt with Tyler.
Gwen almost gets out onto the field but gets clocked by DJ, who she thanks before wandering off. Cody pulls some ACTUAL fancy shit and the first game goes to the Gophers. 1 to 0.

Second round comes along and Noah refuses to be switched in. Honestly, though I see why this ends up getting him in hot water, I have absolutely no room to talk and would sit out during dodgeball. Such is the life of being a wimp.

Tyler decides he's somehow the most capable player and demands all the balls. He manages to hit Chef, the wall, and- on accident- Lindsay. One for three my man.
Tyler has a moment of heterosexual panic over clocking the girl he likes and helps her up. Then he's too into his feelsies not to notice Trent coming up and gently whacking him with the ball. No one was overly fond of this move.
Owen loses his cool and decides to casually knock out the rest of the Killer Bass in a thrilling display of stanning a bi king. 2 to 0.

(Duncan) "You better have a really good reason for sticking this up my nose."
Desperate to stop sucking, The Killer Bass made a group decision to wake up Duncan. But no one's really interested in being a victim on his rap sheet, so they grab a stick and poke him with it. It goes about as well as you'd expect.
Once debriefed and properly blackmailed, Duncan reluctantly agrees to join in on the game. He comes up with a strat from his first juvy visit- grabbing all the balls and yeeting them at one person in particular. It's vindictive, it's rude, it wins them this round. What I can only assume is copyright-free Ava Maria plays over the slaughter. 2 to 1.

Frustrated by their loss, Heather wanders off to find Lindsay, currently flirting with Tyler underneath the docks. Her lesbian rage ignited, she yeets a canoe at him and drags her back to the game. During her absence the Gophers have lost again. 2 to 2.
Tumblr media
The final round goes on far longer than the ones before it. Constant switch-outs and saves are in play, making for a rotating roster of players on both sides. Noah tries to make a joke and gets hit for fun. Rip.
Tumblr media
Eventually, we come down to Owen and Harold. The Gophers celebrate what they feel is an easy victory. But Harold is a slippery bitch, and soon proves to be impossible to tack down. He explains he did figure skating.
Tumblr media
Harold takes a blow to the gut but comes out victorious. Congrats, Killer Bass! Your first win!
VICTORY: KILLER BASS
Tumblr media
Campfire time! Chris reiterates the rules, a first-time event for the Gophers: everyone safe gets a marshmallow. The person who does not receive a marshmallow must walk the dock of shame, board the boat of losers, and leave. And they cannot come back. EVER.
We all know how this goes, folks. Noah is kicked off for his lack of teamwork and respect. Chris laments that, yeah, it wasn't the most outrageous campfire ever. But he still gets paid! Fade to black.
FINAL REVIEW
Ladies, gents, and those who snuck pas the guards. It's time to find out the truth. Did "Dodgebrawl" win a marshmallow and bean its opponents in the face? Or did it get a blow to the balls, get voted off, and be forced to walk the dock of shame to the boat of losers, never to return?
"Dodgebrawl" is. An enigma. It's not the worst episode, but it's not memorable either. I daresay it's in the middle. Even as a kid, I remember being pretty bored during this one- and I didn't really see the point of voting Noah off. He was an easy target, yeah, but it wasn't like having him fighting for victory today would've done anything. Boy was a stringbean. That said, I fully expect the poll to say the same as the show this time, simply because Noah DIDN'T participate.
Verdict: 6 out of 10 marshmallows. Got a dodgeball right to the chest.
Character Mistakes:
Gwen hardly participated at all
Heather spent most of her time yelling instead of throwing balls
Lindsay never got with the program
Noah refused to play
Trent, Cody, Beth, Izzy, Owen, Leshawna and Justin all appeared to do their best
Character Remaining:
Screaming Gophers: Gwen, Trent, Heather, Cody, Lindsay, Beth, Izzy, Owen, Leshawna, and Justin.
Killer Bass: Goeff, Bridgette, DJ, Tyler, Sadie, Katie, Courtney, Duncan, and Harold.
