It's a post inspired by this question the CoD team asked on twitter, essentially mc asks the consorts which S-rank they would trust their baby with

Guy

"Who would you trust our baby with out of the S-ranks?"

"What are you, planning on selling our firstborn?" Guy says as he squishes the baby's fat cheeks sleeping in his mother's arms

"Nope. Just curious"

"Creator," he rolls his eyes "I assume Roy would be a good choice"

Toa

"Who out of all the S-ranks would you leave our baby with?"

Toa knit his eyebrows in confusion at the question as he held up the baby to a nearby branch, the baby's arms were outstretched aiming to reach a low-hanging sky apple

"Why such a question out of the blue?" he said before taking a moment to consider "well it definitely Won't be Fenn, to begin with," he said, taking another moment "if I had to choose, Lynt or Roy, that's it. But don't hold this against me"

Fenn

"Who would you trust to take care of our baby out of all the S-ranks?" she asked while he was coddling his baby in his arms

He looked surprised at the question "Why? You plan on stealing me away anytime soon?" he said with a smirk

"Nope. Just curious"

"Hmm. Perhaps Toa or Roy. Although I doubt Toa would take us up on the offer. And Lynt would make for a good large hugging plushie, don't you think?"

"If you had to choose an S-rank to take care of our baby for a while who would it be?" she asked as Roy was setting the sweet little angel in his cradle

"Hmm? Where did this come from?" he asked, his brows slightly raised

"Just wondering"

He held his chin ponderingly, "Probably Lynt or Master Qelsum...I fear Master Guy may not be the best option for such a task"

Lynt was lying in bed with the baby beside him while running his hand gently on his soft, light hair. "Hmm? I guess Toa or Roy. Maybe Guy. Why?"

"Nothing. Just wondering"

"Although to be honest...I wouldn't want him away from me for a second" he smiled softly as the baby opened his mouth in a deep yawn

"None of them. I wouldn't want him out of my sight for a second" Lance answered sharply, then noticed the slight expression of surprise on her face.

"But if I had to choose and the situation was dire, I'd say probably Invidia" he said, pushing the stroller forward in the castle's garden, while a small, light petal fell gently into it.

Rio

"He could have fun with all of them don't ya think?" Rio said while tugging on the hands of the baby who was sitting in the carrier strapped to his chest

"not sure about Guy though, I don't think he knows how to make a baby laugh"

Lou

"would you trust him with any of the S-ranks?"

She asked while sitting in their little foresty recluse, the baby sitting in his father's lap and admiring the many colours surrounding them.

"Hm? A question requiring deep thought that is."

"top of my head? What would they be doing there? Anyhow...." he closed his eyes in a moment of contemplation, "we needn't worry about that, as he's never going to leave the safety of our arms as long as we are alive"

Summary: Dia Akedia x gn!reader Unfortunately for your sleepy self, your boyfriend's love language is biting.

A/N: inspired by my cat, and Dia's lack of embarrassment. Very short, but hopefully still enjoyable.

You would like to think that, after so long in Saligia, you'd have adapted to the sleep schedule. But, sometimes, your body relapsed. It would remember how “morning time” used to be when you would wake up, and “night time” was when you slept.

Day's like today, you would just sleep through your first class. Not that your paramour cared. He intended to skip class. What he didn't like was that you weren't paying attention to him.

“Y/N,” he whispered, as he snuggled even closer to you. You were only vaguely aware of him, opting to grumble and turn your back to him.

“Y/N,” he whined, pressing his lips to your neck, planting sloppy wet kisses along it.

You grumbled some more, swatting vaguely around you.

He huffed. He leaned back into your neck again, and bit down.

“Dia, no,” you whined, pulling your blanket over your head. “Let me sleeeeeep.”

You heard an unexcited “hmph”, and for a moment, you thought he would just lay back down and go to sleep. Maybe cuddle with you a little.

Then you felt a puff of warm air on a part of your hip that was not completely covered by the blanket, and before you could react, he'd bit again.

You made yourself even smaller under the blanket, tucking it in around yourself so there were no gaps for him to get under. This time, you heard a “grr”. 

“Diaaaaaaaa, I need sleep!”

Now you heard a grumbling of words in, what sounded like, latin, as he began searching for the edge of the blanket so that he could drag it off you.

“I. Want. You. To. Love. Me.” He punctuated each word with a yank at the blanket. 

“I do love you. I just love you more when you let me sleep,” you whined, fighting just as hard to keep the blanket on on your still sleepy body. A particularly hard yank sent Dia tumbling off the bed, but it also meant you were now completely defenseless. He quickly got up, and leapt on top of you, laying his entire weight on you, as he leaned in and nibbled your cheek, quickly moving to nibble the tip of your nose.  You grabbed your pillow from under your head, and hit him on the head with it.

He froze, glaring at you.

“I want to sleep,” you said, firmly.

“Fine,” he said cooly, standing up and leaving the room, but not before kicking the blanket slightly out of reach.

You stood up to grab the blanket, laid yourself back down and snuggled up in the most comfortable way ever. Then you closed your eyes.

And it was then that you realized you had lost all your sleep fighting him off.

You reopened your eyes and growled in frustration. You stood up, got dressed, then made the trek to your, soon to be smug ass, boyfriend’s room.

How the Princes would react to MC being pregnant!

Guy: He would be absolutely stunned into silence at first. After sitting there in silence to contemplate his existence as a father, he would sit you down and tell you that you needn’t worry, because he’d take care of you. He’d formally move you into his chambers from then on and personally act as your bodyguard. He’d walk you everywhere and make sure you eat properly, even going so far as to escort you on daily walks to make sure you and the baby are healthy. Once he got used to the idea, he would worry over you and fuss over your wellbeing because he loves you so much.

Toa: He would most likely be incredibly happy. Toa doesn’t grin much, but the dazzling smile when you tell him could rival the sun itself. He worries about how his family will react, of course, but that’s nothing compared to the joy he feels at having a family with you. He often talks to the baby when the two of you are alone together, leaning down to your bump and telling them how he’s excited to meet them and how loved they are. Toa would be an excellent father. He immediately starts collecting every book in the library on how to raise and care for children, and he shares what he learns with MC when they take meals together. He also tells Knight to start collecting things for when the baby arrives.

Fenn: His first reaction would be terror. He’d never thought about the possibility of having children, and the thought of being a father scares him because he doesn’t know if he’ll be a good father for his child. However, once you reassure him that he’ll be fine, he starts becoming more and more excited. He never thought he’d have the chance to raise a wholesome family, and he’s so enamored with the fact that he starts obsessing over it. He goes into town with you to look at baby clothes and even starts telling Violet about it whenever he gets the chance to talk about his little one. his fangirls are absolutely in despair because now he’s really nailed down to you. The bad thing is, now he’s regarded as a DILF.

Lynt: He almost cried when you told him. This man has so much joy inside him that he ended up sobbing on your shoulder because of how happy he is. He’d always secretly wanted a child of his own, and he couldn’t be happier that the both of you were going to be parents! He’d start telling you about how he would cuddle the baby to sleep and rock them gently in his arms. Lynt would be the perfect father. He would be able to hush the child to sleep and have them sleeping in his arms within five seconds, simply emitting a calming, sleepy aura. You’d never be able to separate him from his beloved little child.

Roy: He’d simply stop functioning for a full five minutes. He cannot believe his ears. When he finally gets it through his head, he immediately throws his arms around you and genuinely has a breakdown of happy tears. He can’t believe he’s so lucky, he gets to have a child with the most amazing person ever. He starts talking to you about how he’d give the child the most amazing life, how he’s so excited to tell his family about it. He would talk nonstop about it to anyone who would listen, and eventually the other princes get tired of listening to him ramble about how much he loves his baby.

Defending the MC from Court of Darkness(kind of) – Let’s Set the Record Straight 🚨

Alright, it’s time to address something that’s been bugging me: the constant bashing of the MC from Court of Darkness in reddit and other platforms. I’ve seen so many people criticize her for not being the “best” or for being a bit too average, and honestly, it’s getting old. Let’s break down why the MC isn’t as bad as some folks make her out to be.

First off, the MC isn’t a flawless hero with zero flaws—and that’s a GOOD thing. She’s relatable because she’s human. She has strengths and weaknesses, and that makes her more realistic. It’s not about having a perfect protagonist; it’s about having someone you can connect with, and the MC’s struggles and growth are part of what makes her journey engaging.

And let’s talk about the fact that she’s constantly placed in impossible situations. The amount of pressure she’s under, juggling politics, supernatural drama, and personal relationships, is insane. Yet, people still find reasons to complain about her choices. Guess what? No one could handle that level of stress and responsibility without making a few mistakes. (Though she sometimes overdos it😒)

Moreover, the MC has growth. Throughout the game, she learns, adapts, and tries her best to handle the chaos around her. She’s not stuck in one place; she evolves based on her experiences and interactions with other characters. Criticizing her for every misstep ignores the fact that she’s on a journey of self-improvement and maturity.

TL;DR: The MC from Court of Darkness isn’t that bad (Even though she makes us all mad sometimes) She’s got depth, growth, and deserves a little more appreciation. Let’s give her credit for that atleast 🧍🏾‍♀️

You know, now that I think about it…

Is anyone else able to access the “past events” tab? Or were the developers like “sike, we’re never going to use this feature at all. Good luck missing out on all your favorite consorts.” I genuinely don’t know this cause, for the longest, I didn’t have a community to confirm this or not.
