Can I request some fluffy headcanons for Shura and Saizo separately with female Corrin. When will Shura ever be put into Feh and Saizo needs a cool alt form as well.

Shura

He was always just surprised as to how did she felt the same way as him but that definitely wasn't something to complain about.

She amazed him, in every possible way. Her kind and forgiving nature was something he appreciated like nothing else.

She often went out of her way to make sure he's involved with the others. The idea of him always being so excluded from the others wasn't one she'd bring to life.

He was often worrying about Corrin's reputation. Especially since she was with him. But in the end it all only meant that he had to be on his best behavior.

He always felt like he needs to prove (to himself) that he's worthy of her. His attempts are sweet, but when Corrin sees that they come from his insecurity she makes sure to reassure him that she doesn't need big gestures.

Saizo

Considering how he previously followed her around, he knew awfully a lot about her. It wasn't the case the other way around so once they started dating it was time for Corrin to learn more about Saizo.

He didn't really enjoy talking about himself for long. So she gained information his way. By just trying to be as observant and attentive as possible.

Of course if she had questions he'd answer them. But Corrin enjoyed learning about him in different ways. It was sort of a fun game to her.

To him it was... Cute how she got so into it. Her enthusiasm was one of the most charming qualifies he just adored.

It wasn't hard for Corrin to get him flustered, he both loved and hated that. But in the end he didn't mind her being her weakness and strength.

Unofficial Gay Fates 1.9 is out! It adds in 23 new supports, as well as dozens of fixes to older supports to bring them up to par.

The videos of these supports have already been up today since this morning, and some of you may have noticed only some of them feature our added voice lines. The mod team decided for the sake of speed and ease on us, that we're dropping the voice lines in our supports, as adding those alone doubles the time it takes to work on each support. After reading the bottom of the FE crossover post now I'm thinking about Desmond taking Azura's position of Nohr noble taken captive by hoshido and pushing Azura into more third party territory

Please can we get a fanfic of Desmond in FE: Fates. Please! I’m begging

I cannot write a full fic for this but I can make up ideas. I hope that will be okay :)

The FE: Fates idea that this is talking about is the bottom part of this FE x AC idea I had.

I know you said Nohr royalty but hear me out.

Okay, so in this scenario, we’re going full on isekai’ed Desmond but with an additional caveat. He deages to the same age Corrin is when she was kidnapped. And, in this case, we’ll go further and make him the twin brother of Corrin (up to you whatever gender Corrin is) who Garon was unable to kidnap together with Corrin.

In this one, we can set it up with the idea that Desmond doesn’t remember anything and people around him believe that he has amnesia because of the trauma of seeing their father die and his twin kidnapped while he ran away.

Desmond isn’t sure if this is necessarily true.

It was also possible that he had been reincarnated as this prince who is also called Desmond (although it would probably be more accurate that people around this part call him Desumon… but they sound the same more or less anyway).

Desmond knows he has a missing twin and he is worried, absolutely worried, sure, but, at the same time, he was in a young child’s body with no real information about the world.

So…

He had no choice but to focus on growing up and learning everything he has about this world.

When Desmond turned fourteen, he starts to have dreams of a woman with flowing blue hair and wearing a white dress.

She would always be singing by the lake.

The dream would always stop before she turned around.

Fifteen years since Desmond had woken up in this world…

The dream changed and he finally sees the woman turn around.

And the first thing she ever spoke to him was…

“Please… save everyone.”

Before Desmond could say anything, he wakes up…

To one of servants informing him that his vassal Kaze has returned…

… with his long lost twin.

Unorganized Notes:

Since every royalty needs to have 2 retainers, Kaze will become Desmond’s vassal. In this situation, Kaze will be one of his retainers (sorry, Corrin). His other retainer would be Shura who Desmond took in when he saw guards of Hoshida deny him entry.

Desmond also took in all the other refugees and survivors from Kohga. Mainly because he couldn’t turn a blind eye to them but also… because he knew that their skills as ninjas would help him make his own Brotherhood.

Of course, there’s a bit of a “???” on the timeline considering Kohga was invaded by Mokushu before the Nohr-Hoshido conflict so either we tweak the timeline or we change this with Desmond making contact with Shura and the other survivors a few years afterwards. Either way, his relationship with Shura is more of a partnership where Shura and the other Kohga survivors and refugees are under Desmond’s protection and Desmond promised that he’d help them take back their country.

So Desmond had actually been in the process of making plans to take care of the Mokushu (and Kotaro) while creating his own Brotherhood when Corrin ‘returns’ to Hoshido.

Desmond knows he’s not blood-related to them but he still calls them his siblings. He and Ryoma respect one another but Desmond’s usual “I’ll throw away my honor if it means I can save people” makes him butt heads with Ryoma at times, mostly because Ryoma is worried just how ‘far’ Desmond is willing to go. Saizo is always serious and polite around him and Desmond likes to joke around just to poke at him. Saizo is also very hard on Kaze and always remind him to make sure to protect Desmond. Kagero is usually more reserved but she’s also the one who keeps trying to remind Ryoma to ease up on Desmond because she knows that Ryoma is trying but Desmond tend to misunderstand his words at times.

Hinoka and Desmond are close and Desmond sometimes treats Hinoka the way Ezio treats Claudia. Lots of teasing and light-hearted conversation. Hinoka is the one who always tries to remind Desmond to not take Ryoma’s words too seriously. Azama gives Desmond a headache at times but they’re not in bad terms. Desmond also worries a lot about Setsuna because of how reckless she can be.

Takumi has double the inferiority complex this time around because of Desmond and Ryoma being leagues stronger than him. It’s also annoying for him because Desmond talk to him a lot because Desmond could see Takumi’s inferiority complex a mile away and tries to help. He’s not sure if he’s actually helping and he’s acting the way he wished someone had acted around him with his own inferiority complex (and Desmond has loads of it considering he feels inferior to three Master Assassins and one Grand Master, add in a sprinkling of thinking William Miles is always disappointed at him). Oboro and Hinata both see this and they always love it when Desmond visits Takumi. Oboro is also the one who made the Assassin robes under Desmond’s ‘designs’ which she updated to feel more Hoshido-esque with Desmond’s approval. Hinata likes to spar with Desmond and uses the time they spar to talk about Takumi and how much they’re worrying about him. Desmond suggested they try treating Takumi more as a friend than their ‘boss’ as Desmond think Takumi might be lonely. The two are trying… with varying success.

Sakura loves Desmond and likes to call him ‘big brother’. Sakura actually grew up with Desmond taking care of her a lot of times (because Desmond likes to play hooky). It’s because of Desmond’s influence that she hides a dagger in her clothes and she knows how to use it. Sakura would probably be the most ‘changed’ among the royalties. Her personality is pretty much the same but she’s less shy and there are times when she can perfectly mimic Desmond. It usually means someone really bad is about to die. Hana has a crush on Desmond. Desmond knows it but he sees Hana as a little sister and treats her like, patting her head and such. That only makes Hana’s crush harder and Desmond finally understood how Altaïr felt towards Kadar. Subaki is always polite around Desmond and Desmond tries to make him ease up a lot but it’s taking a lot of time which Desmond is fine with.

(I skipped the other Hoshido characters because Desmond would probably not have met them until the start of the ‘main story’).

Speaking of which…

Corrin chooses Nohr in this situation and the Yato actually splits into two with Corrin receiving one and the other going to Desmond.

Desmond is driven by revenge as well but he also knows that Corrin’s devastation over the death of their mother is real which is why he tries to get more information while staying in Hoshido’s side.

After he meets Corrin once more, he doesn’t dream of the woman with blue hair but…

He receives her pendant at the same time Yato splits into two.

Desmond cannot transform into a dragon and no one knows why.

This one would feel like it’s going for a Conquest and Birthright route at the same time then will pull into the Revelations route after Desmond and Corrin finally talk (both of them trying to minimize the death count).

Once they get to Valla, they’re greeted by a message made of water from the blue haired woman who calls herself Azura. She tells them the truth… She made a deal with a ‘god’ from another world to pull the soul of a newly departed ‘hero’ into their world and to turn back time. That soul was Desmond. She did all of this because the real Corrin chose a path paid with blood (although it’s not clear if she chose Nohr or Hoshido) but the real enemy managed to push the world into a ‘bad ending’ of some sort even after all those sacrifices. In exchange for her ‘spot’, Desmond became Corrin’s twin. The message ends with Azura requesting them to defeat the true enemy of this world and bring true peace.

Azura is alive but she’s somewhere in Valla, only able to leave message to guide Corrin and Desmond that she had prepared beforehand so the two also made it their mission to find Azura as well.

Ooooh, it kind of changes depending what is the brain root of the moment, so take it with a grain of salt! 1. Shura x Corrin, mostly the het version in Conquest (Fire Emblem Fates). The dynamic, the potential drama (class and cultural differences, the immorality of falling in love with the man who kidnapped your cousin/step-sister), the softness of Shura when he is with Corrin and Corrin just being kind and trusting in him is just so 💞 and Shura post-mariage is just so sweet with her <3 I less like the gay variant because it's, in my sense, more built around Shura's dream to rebuilt his homeland (which is very cool), but the support with F!Corrin is more about his interactions with people and founding some self-value, which is better as a character development to get ready to be in a relationship. And that S support 💞💞💞

2. Anthy x Utena (Revolutionary Girl Utena). I'm not an expert of the anime (I've only watched it two times + the movie) but I really enjoy how they both grow as person during the series. Anthy finally leaving Othori is still haunting me, along with the line "one day, together, we will shine". Also, while I didn't really like the movie, that scene where Anthy and Utena are dancing is just incredible??? Everything is perfect to the scenery to the music — people aren't lying when they say Utena invented romance.

3. Madoka x Homura (Puella Magi Madoka Magica). My toxic Yuri, and I think it was the very first lesbian ship I really wanted to see them endgame? Some were disappointing or feeling betrayal by the third movie, but didn't surprise me that much Homura ended up corrupt by her own desire to save Madoka after everything she had endure. I can't wait to see how things will get going in the next movie!!

4. Jessie x James (Pokémon the original series). The first ship I have ever ship. They are just neet like that, theses doofus. Do I really have to explain myself?

5. Azirapharel x Crowley (Good Omens). I must confess, I'm not sure if I'll watch the second season because I can't really invest myself in it (I watch until episode 3 I think)? But they were really fun in the season one ; the dynamic, the teasing between them, it was so good! And the ending was also perfect!

Other ship needed to be referenced even if they aren't on the top:

Russia x Seychelles (Hetalia), completely crack, but I shipped it int the way Seychelles as a morality pet for Russia and them being weird together without feeling judged. I'm not so much in the fandom anymore but I made a ton of fanarts of them back in day!

Rikuya x Kuon (Tenkuu Shinpan). Another crack, and I think I'm the captain of their ship?? It made me think I should continue my rewrite of TS oops...

More an aesthetic ship, but I really like Bisharp x Lucario or Bisharp x Gallade ship.

Entry 28: Surprisingly Fantastic Supports

At the end of the last chapter, Shura joined us. What’s more, between battles Yukimura joined us, meaning we have a few new units to get acquainted with.

Shura

A Nohrian outlaw who kidnapped Azura as a child. His personal skill, Highwayman, lowers the stats of units he attacks that can’t fight back, which is a good encapsulation of his mugger backstory. His design is fine, the two tone hair is a bit odd though and it weirds me out that both of the Outlaws in this game have white hair. His joining up with us because of his family serving the royals in the past was an ass pull, but the detail of him kidnapping Azura is interesting. Unfortunately, he and Azura have no Supports.

Yukimura

Mikoto’s tactician and the head of the Hoshidan army. His personal skill, Perspicacious, is really hard to say and gives a boost to the hit rate of all allies when Yukimura is deployed. He looks nerdy, with glasses and messy hair, but also oddly young for a senior tactician. His shoulder pads are weird. He seems calm and intelligent, personality wise.

Support: Lady Corrin/Shura

C: Shura refuses to have dinner with Corrin, worried about ruining her reputation by associating her with an outlaw like him.

B: Shura refuses to fight alongside Corrin to protect her reputation. Corrin asks Shura why he feels such shame and he explains all the horrible things he did. Corrin recommends he talk to other soldiers and share the burden with friends, something she has done in the past. Not sure what specifically Corrin feels guilty about. Killing Hoshidan soldiers? Being responsible for her mother's death? Killing all of the Wolfskin? Who knows, Corrin never shows guilt for more than five minutes.

A: Shura, reinvigorated from talking to other units who he doesn't have Supports with, has regained his optimism and begun planning to rebuild Kohga.

S: Shura thanks Corrin for giving him his dreams back. Also, he loves Corrin and dreams of rebuilding Kohga with her.

Review: A fantastic Support Line that really fleshes out Shura as a character.

Support: Lord Corrin/Shura

C: Corrin asks Shura about why he became an outlaw. Shura explains that he needed money to rebuild Kohga, his destroyed homeland.

B: Shura realizes that you can't just rebuild a country by buying back the land if all of its people are dead.

A: Corrin asks if Shura has abandoned his dream. When Shura says yes, Corrin says that Shura has destroyed Kohga, for it will never be truly gone if he holds it in his heart.

Review: Another fantastic Shura Support. I can’t wait to read all of his other Supports and see how they expand his character!

Support: Lady Corrin/Yukimura

C: Corrin asks Yukimura about her parents. Yukimura explains that they were good people who loved her. Corrin says that she sometimes blames herself for their deaths, but is reassured by Yukimura explaining they loved her.

B: Yukimura shows Corrin a flipbook he made for Mikoto and Sumeragi when Corrin was a baby filled with pictures of her with her parents.

A: Yukimura explains that his parents died when he was young and that Corrin's loving parents gave him hope.

S: Yukimura adds a new picture, one of Corrin, because he loves her or whatever.

Review: This one is touching and gives great development to Corrin, her parents, and Yukimura.

Support: Lord Corrin/Yukimura

C: Corrin finds Yukimura strategizing. Yukimura explains that he learned tactics from his father, one of Sumeragi's ministers, and that Sumeragi was like a father to him after his own father died. Corrin apologizes for Sumeragi's death and Yukimura reassures him that it wasn't his fault.

B: Yukimura tells Corrin of a time Sumeragi got mad at him for wanting to kill as many enemies as possible and taught him the value of human life.

A: Corrin apologizes again for Sumeragi's death and Yukimura reveals that he once resented Corrin, only to grow to understand that Sumeragi fulfilled his duty by protecting his child.

Review: This is why Supports are important. Before this entry, I didn’t give a shit about Yukimura. Now he’s one of my favorite characters. Not only that, but this Support made Sumeragi’s death more tragic and gave Corrin some real depth by giving them guilt over their father’s death. Fantastic.

Shit, I want to do another Support. Normally they’re a chore but I’m on a roll tonight.

Support: Azura/Kaze

C: Kaze points out that Azura has never once had a casual conversation with him.

B: Kaze helps Azura mail medicine to her sick childhood nanny. Azura cries after finding a flower she was sent that reminds her of her childhood.

A: Azura apologizes for crying. Kaze promises to protect her with his life.

S: Azura and Kaze bond over their mutual shyness.

Review: Not bad, but a bit boring. The C Rank is fun though and I do like them bonding over being shy.

Birthright Chapter 23: Camilla

Elise leads the army through the catacombs beneath the castle. Corrin recommends Elise stay back so she doesn’t get hurt. Elise insists on coming with us so she can talk Xander down. I’m sure that’ll go well.

Elise comments that Corrin has grown a lot recently. Elise’s retainers, hearing her laugh echo, go get Camilla. She shows up with her retainers and an army of soldiers. Camilla freaks out about the Hoshidans kidnapping Elise. Corrin tries to talk her down but Camilla assumes she’s just confused and will remember her real family after Camilla kills everyone.

Elise’s retainers start as enemies, but can be talked to and turned into allied units. Both of them are great, by the way, I can’t wait to use them in Conquest. This battle features Dragon Veins Camilla abuses to rain unavoidable fireballs down on our entire army. Beruka’s fight dialogue has her saying she was forbidden from killing Corrin and that Camilla will finally smile again when Corrin comes home, which is really nice. Camilla’s dialogue, though, is more creepy stuff about killing Corrin’s family because she loves Corrin.

After defeating Camilla, Corrin explains that she and Elise just want to talk things out with Xander and Garon. Corrin says that, if there’s peace between Nohr and Hoshido, they can be a family again. Camilla finally accepts our proposal. Then faints immediately.

Wow, Leo and Camilla both came around to our begging after we beat the shit out of them. I sure hope the same works for Xander. It won’t for Garon, of course, he’s going to die, but who knows? Maybe we will be a family again!

Ok since you like the movie tangled and you like Niles from fe: consider this: A (a bit more dark to stay more in line with fe) tangled au for Corrin x Niles.

With Corrin being Rapunzel and Niles being Flynn

YES – I do love both of those, that’s so cute!!

Niles really would make the perfect Flynn: flirty and cunning, “they can’t get my nose right,” somehow ends up with the one person fairly immune to his charms

And Corrin is such a good Rapunzel: taken from her family at a young age, sheltered away by this other parent so she has a distorted and naive view of the world, but still very capable of course.

Okay okay, I got a bit carried away but here’s my basic premise to such a cool au! I couldn’t work the Nohrian siblings into it oof, but I’m working on it... (Aso, I wrote this with female Corrin, but it works exactly the same with male Corrin)

Every year, on her birthday, the nearby country of Hoshido holds a beautiful and mysterious lantern festival. She’s determined to see the lights despite her father Garon’s protests (hmm…I’m a little disturbed at Garon singing mother knows best…). She knows she can transform into a dragon with divine abilities, and her father has warned her that Hoshidans will hunt her as a dragon for her magic.

The great thief Niles is on the run after stealing the legendary sword Yato from Hoshido. He flees to Nohr, somehow ending up in the Northern Fortress where he meets Corrin.

Armed with her trusty frying pan, Corrin and her odd-looking chameleon by the name of Lilith force Niles to escort her to Hoshido. Along the way they meet up with others in the fates cast, criminals and outcasts who Corrin immediately wins over with her trusting nature. (Omg I love picturing the more intimidating characters like Benny, Beruka, Shura, Peri, etc. singing I’ve Got a Dream)

They reach the palace and see the lights, all the while Corrin hears tales of the royal family’s lost princess. (Cue I See the Light with these two lovelies and I cry ;-;) Unfortunately, Garon is close behind, and drags her back to Nohr when Niles leaves her for a moment. Meanwhile, he orders his men to kill the thief. Niles is cunning enough to escape, but is subsequently caught by the Hoshidans for stealing Yato, and a variety of other crimes that warrant his execution.

Corrin is brought back to Windmire, where she puts the pieces together about her identity. She confronts Garon about it. He tries to send her to Valla, where she will be sacrificed to Anankos. As a dragon, she will feed him with power.

Those that Corrin befriended work together to free Niles from the Hoshidan prison, handing him the Yato as he speeds away. He arrives back at the bottomless canyon just in time to see Garon ready to take Corrin away to the bottom. He stabs Niles, leaving him for dead. Corrin is strong enough to break free for a moment, vowing to willingly sacrifice herself to Anankos if she can save the man.

She hurries to Niles side, he is nearly gone but still cracking jokes and flirting as if nothing is wrong. Corrin is ready to heal him with her divine abilities, but the thief uses his own weapon to stab straight into the dragonstone around her neck, releasing the power in an explosion that destroys Garon and the soldiers he brought with him. Corrin is left all alone on the windy bridge, her love dying in her arms. (“You were my new dream” “And you were mine”)

Yato, still at Niles’ side, begins to glow when Corrin leans down to embrace him one last time. The power from the sword fills her – she realizes the dragon’s abilities were in her blood all along, not simply in the dragonstone. Using the sword, she is able to channel that power and heal Niles.

The two return to Hoshido, where Corrin reunites with her siblings. She is crowned Princess, and marries Niles who has sworn off a life of crime now that he’s met her.

A man like him, someone who could murder or steal without hesitation, just for small pieces of gold by those that hired him. Gold he would hide away because even as an old man he held the dream of rebuilding his country, to honor those that had died having the shame of him being their only survivor that he knew of. Shura knew this and accepted it, it's how his life was and there was no point in changing it now, right?

That was until he met her, of course.

And he would learn later, that seemed to be everyone story in her army. That somehow this sheltered, naïve princess convinced them somehow to join her, to help her find peace or a solution to the war happening between the two kingdoms. Shura honestly thought she was crazy, especially when she had the chance to lop his head off right there, end it all as her siblings tried to convince her. Because really, to him they were right; But this small woman in her black revealing Nohrian armor just stood there, shaking her head no.

That she would trust him, everyone deserved a chance.

And after that she followed him, trying to talk to him to bring him closer to the others in the strange castle they all lived in. Convincing him, somehow, that someone like him, an old bitter tired man could, somehow find something akin to happiness or belonging there among royalty and peasants who mingled like nothing.

It was like nothing he ever seen, so maybe that's why he got the courage to by a small gold ring, nothing fancy. Nothing like the other men in camp could give her, and he knew there were many who would make her happy. That she deserved so much more, for her life from what he had learned had been cruel to her, but she was still soft. Corrin, who had lost more than she had gained, somehow softened someone like him.

A man like him didn't deserve to be happy, this was a fact. But Shura sat at the table not far from her, their, bed and watched her sleep. How everything seemed like it was normal. He was a normal man and she was a normal woman, both not scarred deeply by this world. His darks eyes watched as her chest moved up and down and then to her stomach which was swollen greatly, something Shura still wasn't sure was the right idea to do and go through with it.

But he wouldn't deny Corrin of a family she so desperately wanted. She loved her siblings of course, but he understood what she had meant, it wasn't easy to put into words. But Shura had understood her, wrapping his arms around her as she cried, as he assured her, smoothing her startling white blonde hair.

That he too so desperately wanted.

And there was no going back now.

A man like him, in reality, could never make a woman like her ever happy. The war would end, and reality would really set in and show her the mistake she had made. But as he stood up joining her in bed, Shura knew that would never happen, that Corrin wasn't that kind of person, she was the kind who would smile saying that she too didn't deserve to be happy, but he made her happy and that was all she wanted. He didn't believe that but as he felt her turn towards him pulling on his night shirt to look at her with her arms wide to hold him close as he held her close. Shura obligated as he pressed his face into her collar bone breathing in deeply.

He shouldn't be happy, but life wasn't going as he planned since he was a young child. But for once the unpredictability of life he didn't mind at all.

Cool!! That all said, do you got any and all ships of M Corrin to apply to that list? Or is he one of those characters that can and will be ship with anyone and everyone regardless of the scenario?

M!Corrin is someone who I basically just ship with pretty much the entire male fates cast (besides his brothers of course) and all those kink scenarios do involve multiple fates men in mind lol and like most of the fates men work in most of those scenarios

Like, I'm not one for writing multi chapter stuff at this point (at least planning wise, if I write a sequel to something, it's spontaneous) so having a bunch of characters in a short story is difficult.

Ok sorry it took so long, I kept losing the track of time but lol I'm posting this on Father's day (in my country at least lol)

Shura being a dad

Kana here is male!

Even though he kept track of Kana aging and all, him being in the deeprealms was something that made him worried. After all his precious son being away for such a long time could strain their relationship.

He always made sure to listen to him, always keeps track of what Kana is interested in. And of course, spends all the time they can together.

Kana loves listening to his stories. It always reminds him how cool Shura is! And honestly, his son's look of admiration makes him feel... A little guilty.

He doesn't think that he deserves to have someone look up to him, but at the same time it just makes him so happy. Still, the last thing he wants his son to do is to follow his footsteps.

So he doesn't really hide (some of) the harsh reality when it came to his adventures when the time is appropriate. He doesn't want to feel like he's deceiving his son into thinking that his father is a true hero who can do no wrong.

He's not the kind of father who spoils his child, but he isn't the kind to hard discipline either. He's very balanced on the matter.

Although Kana is quite adventurous, Shura makes sure to keep him out of trouble. When his son messes up though, he doesn't get scolded. Instead Shura tries to help him fix his mistakes and supports him.

Comforting Slumber

    The soft sensation of stroking along her back finally made her shift from her slumber. Slowly, yet forcingly, Corrin opened her heavy eyes, her vision somewhat blurred. “Hm…” She lifted her head cautiously from her folded arm, now somewhat numb, yawning rather loudly in protest at the disturbance of her slumber. She stretched her numb arm, a groan leaving her lips at the slight discomfort. “Ah…”

    Gazing down after a few more blinks, she noted the rather messy calligraphy on the dark paper, the quill with ink shoved aside. Some of her letters managed to smear due to the movement of her arm. Upon further inspection, it was noted that she had been working on some sort of battle approach. There was a messy field scribbled onto the edge of the long paragraph, along with letters. T and R were on one side, while L and X were on the opposite side, near a messily drawn tree. A few X’s were scattered about, and then, S and C were next to each other, right at the center…

    It took her a moment to realize that she had fallen asleep while formulating the next plan. Gasping, she sat up, about to push her seat back.

    What halted her was what she heard behind her.

    “Corrin.” A husky, yet soft tone rang behind her. His hand stopped rubbing at her back. “Why don’t you move to the bed?”

    “I’m not done,” she stubbornly replied with a croaked voice, turning back to the paper. Grabbing the quill, she rubbed at her eye, cocking her head. Her long ears twitched as she caught his exasperated sigh, and suddenly felt some weight on her hand.

    Slowly, Shura lowered down, clutching her hand and pulling the quill out. “I won’t allow it. You need to rest for the night,” he softly scolded.

    She disliked when he did this, but made no effort to argue – he was right. She was too exhausted to keep on going; her eyes were drooping and she welcomed the embrace of a bed. And of her husband. “Hmmm…”

    His soft chuckle – soothing music to her ears – jingled as he kissed at her temple. “Time for bed.”

    Corrin felt as Shura pulled her seat back, and effortlessly gripped at her waist to pick her up with ease. He cradled her carefully, and only smiled as Corrin snuggled her face into his broad chest. He could not help but lean down to kiss at her forehead, his heart churning with glee at the woman in his arms. She was all he could ever ask for in life; someone to spend the rest of his life with at peace.

    His heartbeat broke a smile into her soft lips. He was always so sincere and so visibly happy to be at her side. It warmed her heart. Corrin felt as they walked towards a certain direction, undoubtedly the bed, and finally felt him lower her down as he grunted out faint scolds to the Nohrian princess. She was so sleepy, and found it difficult to make of what exactly he was saying, but made no effort to try and retaliate.

    A sensation of a sheet being draped over her body, and the lights dimming was what she managed to decipher as Shura finally stepped over and slipped into the space next to her. She felt his warmth, his broad body inviting her in as he held his arm aloft to make space for her. She gladly took it, slipping against his chest and curling up as he embraced her. “Mm…”

    Soft lips pressed to the top of her head, and those same words that she would never be tired of hearing escaped his lips once more.

    “I love you, Corrin…”

    “I love you…” Was all Corrin managed to muster, before she fell victim to sleep.
