HLVRAI BUT POKEMON!
Gordon: Ursarang! Same color palette, but also gordon is a bear, with long hair, AND ursarang is one of those pokemon that's protective of his kids, and can be strong when need be. Ursarang also has a short temper, which fits with Ursarang. Which means Joshua would be teddiursa!
Benrey: The fandom decided on Pawniard(shiny) but also consider Ditto! Not entirely sure why, I don’t really have an explanation, he just gives me ditto vibes
Bubby: Of course, Mew Two. Mew two for bubby because mew two was designed and raised in a lab to be genetically perfect and has been stated, many times to BE perfect. he's also one of the few pokemon that can talk to humans, and when you talk to him, he's very smug and gives off the vibes that he's better than you because, let's be honest, he is, he's mew two.
Dr. Coomer: Incineroar, because they're very sweet and kind, but also based off of a boxer, more importantly, a show boxer, so they're big and flashy, but also very incredibly strong, just like coomer[5:02 PM]Plus, coomer said he started a boxing ring, what's more perfect then a boxer with a literally championship belt??? Plus imagine an old man Incineroar.
Tommy: Yamper for tommy because I get the vibe that Tommy is an electric type trainer. Also, Yamper is very excitable and very baby but when they need to be, can and WILL go ham. Plus, yamper brings back lost pokeballs and gives them to you. Tommy also owns sunkist, all be it, yamper is not a golden retriever, but a corgie. HOWEVER corgies are the queen's favorite dog and we can all agree tommy is royalty
Darnold: Shuckle for Darnold because shuckles whole gimmick is that he makes juice (potions!!) Plus, Shuckle always looks like a smart pokemon to me.
G-Man: Giritina fits g-man really well because giritina is violently neutral. He's also a manipulator of matter, just like gman. Giritina is an other worldly beast who only comes to earth when it needs assistance. He was based off of the grim reaper! plus he's an ugly mother fucker like g-man.
I am probably going to draw fanart, but please give me your guys’ opinions!! I didn’t necessarily go off of appearance, I went more on backstories/personalities, stuff like that! They can always be made to look like the science team via art.

Note
Gordon just hugs pumpkin and cries cause His perfect Corgi is super soft
Pumpkin is super soft and super sweet and also probably undergoing training to become a service animal. I feel like Tommy probably had Sunkist trained to be a service dog, so he’d probably have Pumpkin trained too. Especially given Gordon’s PTSD
